the barbatos one might be controversial but hear me out. i think that any account he'd run in association to his work would be dry as hell. but a personal, deeply private account? funny as FUCK. i think this man wouldn't post very often but when he does, it is quite literally some of the funniest shit you've ever seen. he's ancient, too, so i think he'd be persistent. just years of logging on to tell elon musk to k*ll himself (whiCH I AM NOT ENDORSING @ THE GOV IM JUST MAKING A JOKE OKAY WE'RE ALL LAUGHING HERE) in new and creative ways

mammon would probably post a lot about his shenanigans and that to me is worth tuning in to. i think his social media would consist of him posting about a new scheme/plan part of the way through (when things are most exciting) and then updating hours/days later with an "update: lucifer caught me and made me wear a dunce hat for a week straight" or something like that

satan would post the most normally in this category but i think he'd have some genuinely interesting stuff. he'd probably use a photo-based platform like instagram (technically devilgram but y'know what i mean) and his content would fall into two categories: cat pics and the most amazing, exclusive events you've ever seen. he'll post a photo dump of cats he feeds one week and then next is him at some gorgeous exclusive hot springs on a free trip one of his connections invited him on.

asmo posts a lot about himself, but like. c'mon. he's so pretty. and he also just posts a lot of pretty aesthetic influencer photos so it's nice to see him on your feed. he posts a lot, too, so your feed never quite runs dry when he's your mutual. he's also the type to hype your photos up in the comments like you're the only other person on the platform. lots of heart emojis and flirtatious comments on very mundane posts

simeon would be fun to follow in the way that old people are fun to follow on social media. long, sweet captions on his weekly post (that someone helped him post), cute but off-center selfies with the things he cares about, funny grandpa comments on your photos-- ex. "nice photo mc... 👍" without realizing how funny that comes off

luke is just cute and posts cute things. lots of stray animals, pretty sunsets, and cute baked goods. he's even got a few rare photos of barbatos on there looking slightly relaxed. levi made luke's accounts private when he first set them up bc he's been on too many weird corners of the internet to let that innocent angel be corrupted.

speaking of levi, he'd post a LOT about his dorky (affectionate) interests. he's one of the few that would post every day on multiple platforms. there's a pretty small chance you care about each and every thing he posts but regardless, it's nice to see him so enthused and happy.

mutuals bc i'd feel bad unfollowing: belphie, lucifer, diavolo, mephisto

belphie's accounts have all been inactive for YEARS, but if you unfollow him he does get offended. he found out asmo unfollowed him at some point and started an argument about it.

lucifer's social media is also rarely active, but anything he posts is usually at least a little important, so if you unfollow he'll know and get on you about missing it.

diavolo's account is quite literally all royal bullshit and official devildom information, but seeing as he doesn't have personal social media, he still values his friends following him. if you unfollow, his feelings will be hurt, but he'll stay quiet about it.

mephisto's account literally just posts the same lame shit that the RAD newspaper account does, word-for-word and post-for-post. unfollowing either of these accounts comes off as a slight from the feeble human that doesn't care about the devildom. his complaining is always so loud.

beel posts exclusively about food. he doesn't run a food-themed account, that's literally all he finds interesting enough to post. he rates all of his meals after he finishes, too. fun, but not my type of content.

The news of a big party had swept through the school like wildfire, and it seemed like everyone was talking about it. The anticipation of the upcoming event created an electric buzz in the air, as students exchanged excited whispers in the hallways and crowded around lockers, making plans and sharing details.

Despite the chatter that filled the school, [Y/N] found herself less than enthused. Parties were never really her scene, and she preferred quiet evenings spent with a good book or her camera. The idea of attending a raucous gathering filled with music, people, and noise didn't hold much appeal to her.

But then there was Tristan, her boyfriend. Ever since the awkward car ride home from the diner, he had been on her case about attending the party. He seemed insistent, and his persuasive techniques left a lot to be desired.

"Why are you being such a bore, [Y/N]?" he had scoffed when she initially expressed her lack of interest in the party. "Everyone's going, and you're just going to stay home alone?"

His words had stung, and despite her initial reluctance, she had begun to feel guilty about her decision. Tristan had a knack for making her feel guilty or boring whenever she didn't want to do something he did.

It wasn't that [Y/N] didn't appreciate him, but she often felt like she had to justify her choices to him, and his insistence on attending the party was just one more example of this behavior.

Feeling worn down by his comments and eager to avoid confrontation, [Y/N] had eventually caved. She had reluctantly agreed to go to the party with Tristan, though her heart wasn't fully in it.

As she prepared for the evening, a sense of unease settled over her. She couldn't shake the feeling that Tristan's insistence wasn't about having a fun night together but about controlling her choices. But for now, she pushed those concerns to the back of her mind, determined to make the best of the evening and hoping that the party would turn out to be more enjoyable than she anticipated.

In the parking lot, the conversation about the party continued as Ted, [Y/N], and Schlatt made their way towards their respective cars. Ted looked over at [Y/N] with a smile, expecting an answer to his previous question. "So, are you coming to the party, [Y/N]?"

Before [Y/N] could respond, Schlatt interjected with a dismissive snort, "She's just gonna be a buzzkill and stay home like always. Fuckin' boring."

The comment struck a nerve with [Y/N]. She felt a flash of irritation at Schlatt's remark, but years of being around his abrasive nature had taught her to bottle up her response. She held her tongue, hoping to avoid escalating the situation.

Attempting to diffuse the tension, [Y/N] replied, "I'm actually going with Tristan." She deliberately omitted the mention of her reluctance to attend, not wanting to provoke further comments.

Schlatt, however, didn't hold back his derogatory remark, "Tristan's probably just gonna be there trying to hook up with other girls, you know how he is."

Her temper flared, and she rounded on Schlatt. "You know what, Schlatt? You're such an asshole!"

The vehemence in her voice caught both Ted and Schlatt off guard. Ted's expression turned from surprise to concern, while Schlatt's face contorted in a mix of frustration and annoyance. He opened his mouth, about to retort, but [Y/N] was already storming off, her steps echoing her anger.

"Hey, [Y/N], wait!" Ted called after her, but she was already moving, anger fueling her rapid steps as she hurried away from the brewing conflict.

Schlatt, caught off guard by her outburst, exchanged a confused glance with Ted. His usual gruffness softened momentarily as he seemed genuinely surprised by [Y/N]'s reaction. He mumbled something incoherent, half an attempt to explain himself, but the words seemed to falter on his lips.

Ted shot Schlatt a reproachful look. "Nice going, Schlatt. What was that about?"

Schlatt's frustration was evident, and he ran a hand through his hair, a mix of regret and irritation evident on his face. "I don't know, alright? She just always gets me on edge."

Ted sighed, a mixture of disappointment and exasperation. "Look, I get that you and [Y/N] sometimes clash, but that was a low blow. You owe her an apology."

But before Schlatt could respond, Ted hurried off after [Y/N], leaving Schlatt alone in the parking lot, his thoughts in disarray. He couldn't shake the discomfort he felt from the exchange, a sense of guilt gnawing at him as he realized the extent to which his words had affected [Y/N].

the mc is a "traveler", aka someone who can travel through space and time. there is only one of her across every universe.

cael (one of the love interests) is also a traveler and is from a War Criminal Planet universe where war crimes are the norm and emotions are SO not cool. there is also only one of him across every universe. he is also immortal.

the other love interests (ayn, alkaid, clarence, lars) are "paragons", who are basically four guys who manifest in every alternate universe and act as their worlds' last line of defense in the event they are ever threatened.

two different au versions cannot exist in the same universe as their souls will either combine, or one will take over the other.

their alternate selves are all different people, but are the same at their core. they have the same "nature", but very different "nurtures" due to the differences in their backgrounds and home planets.

of course, this means there are also "paragons" on the War Criminal Planet cael is from. so while they have some similarities due to their nature deep down, their nurture has made them. uh. well uh. insane??? lmao??

so basically this means while each alkaid tends to be friendly and patient, you also get the prefect luminary, who was raised in a world where our morals are flip flopped and what is good here is bad there. the fun in lbc is seeing how these two very different alkaids are similar, and how they are VERY different due to their upbringing.

for example, alkaids tend to be very image conscious. this manifests in modern alkaid as coming across as unassuming and nice to everyone to get them off his back. while it is in his nature to be nice, it is also in his nature to be perceptive and sharp as a tack. something he tries not to be too open about in the modern world for backstory reasons.

in the prefect, this manifests as someone who feels the need to overcompensate and try to exert their power to be the prime example of a prefect in the empire (war criminal planet). any deep down kindness is smothered. his perceptiveness and sharpness, however, is on full display.

these two alkaids' ways of "fitting in" are veeery different due to their environment.

Im thinking about posting about The Arcana, I’ve been a big fan ever since it came out and the genuine passion I feel for these characters is honestly intense. When I say I’ve written so much about this game just for myself alone I mean I have gigabytes worth of content (or rather, had, most of it’s been lost unfortunately :\). 99% of its Nadia related not even gonna lie lol-

Idk though, I’m still kinda apprehensive because I like having this one little thing to myself. I mean, I definitely don’t feel pressured to write about the other stuff I put on this blog. I do all this for me, everything I post is for me and me alone. I just genuinely love enthusing about all these games I hold so dear, i love sharing my thoughts about them with other people, I love analyzing these characters publicly and getting the chance to start a dialogue. I don’t know why it’s so different for me when it comes to this game in particular.

I’m kinda coming around to the idea of sharing what I feel though. Giving it the good ol’ Red Dead, Balders Gate, Portal treatment and writing some lengthy posts about it. I’m certainly not short on ideas lol-

hii just letting you know that all your work related to v1s creators especially with me having an oc (Amit) who originally created blood fuel... though they're pretty different as they DO regret what they did and refuse to admit they're proud of how far the machines have come.

anyways. i wonder if some of its creators regret any of their actions. Maybe before or after seeing the violence it causes. Maybe even trying to shut the project down completely? Every person is different and im sure people had conflicting ideas about something like this idk. Some may have been proud to create something as complex, while others maybe just be doing it because its seen as necessary for the war. Idk i just want to know your thoughts on its creators! :]

WAUUUUGHHHHH AMIT IS SUCH A GOOD OC,,,,,if i can just. tell you how much i enjoy their concept for a second because i think you REALLY nailed the feel of ultrakill with them, like they suit the universe incredibly well and perfectly slot into the lore in their design + punishment. ESPECIALLY especially because we now know the machines are partially flesh, and so it's this ultimate, horrible end to that idea, to have the soul now locked into the machine in the same way. that soul still "living" still conscious of itself and what it must do, what it has done, UGH i love love their whole thing. im sorry if im bad at expressing my thoughts, im just so impressed by them, the execution is stunning!!!!

BUT OK YES YEA I LOVE V1'S CREATORS.....OR THE IDEA OF THEM....i think of them as a core team of 3 people, "named" for the three wisemen of the bible - melchior is the lead designer, while balthazar creates the software and caspar creates the hardware and they're. eccentric as a group to say the least.

melchior is by far the most detached from what they're making, instead viewing v1 as a piece of art, a magum opus before their inevitable death. it's not really in a mad scientist way, melchior just genuinely believes they can achieve a machine that is far beyond what has been produced before and will live on far into the future to challenge newer generations (they don't really conceive of war ever ending, and instead think of life in terms of conforming to and building around war). i talked about them a bit earlier, but they have dealt with severe lung damage from the air that has left them in progressively declining health which contributes a lot to their focus on v1.

balthazar is the most level-headed in viewing v1 for what it is and is the most conflicted about what they're all making. he must constantly push its ai, improving it over and over again into an uncomfortable territory of adaptive intelligence for what it must do, and knowing how smart previous generations have been, balthazar is aware v1 could achieve advanced sentience. they have to do this, they have to find a way to stop the earthmovers, but what can the ultimate war machine be with a thinking mind? it's existential dread that largely grips balthazar, but the concerns are unheard by melchior who only enthuses about the idea of it.

caspar is desperate for v1 to end this, she is so exhausted with living in suits, in heavy gas masks, never seeing the sky or breathing the air like people once did. she makes whatever melchior wants work and she can often be found removing her gloves and lifting her visor to feel and see v1 directly (both caspar and melchior snap at her for this, but she always ignores them). caspar doesn't consider the implications, because in her mind v1 is the end of this - the war stops with it and she wants to be sure it has the body to do it (she really is the reason v1 can run on 1 hp at full capacity lol)

the three work incredibly well in sync and i think they have a lot of trust in one another for what they can do, but only balthazar and caspar live to see v1 "fully" completed - i really do like the idea that melchior donates their heart after their death (I GOT. whole ideas about video diaries they leave that are found by v2, very weird for it since it never got to meet them!!!!) those two finish the prototype at least, but i'm not sure on the timeline after this since v1's development is entirely halted due to the new peace. which is. a weird fucking thing for the two of them, an achievement of really what they both wanted but with their hard work benched pending v2's development and melchior's dream effectively dying not soon after them. they are both instrumental in advocating for its preservation, with both modifying it to hopefully make it through what may be a forever stasis by reinforcing its body and mind. v1 remembers them all only vaguely, usually if its memory is jogged by something it sees, though gabriel does try to assist in this since he believes it's important for v1 to recall its "family". hopefully i can get around to posting all of their designs soon as well as their updated husk looks!!

pokemon aren’t affected by any external factors like attacks or status conditions when performing , but they’re still expending a good amount of  energy with the use of moves

so , as someone that’s very invested in the subject , his research and the bond between pokemon and trainer - this information would be valuable to compare and contrast with his current findings

he doesn’t really know anybody in the contest scene? there’s serena, of course, but she’s also currently undertaking the gym challenge and being one of his pupils it doesn’t feel right to stick this kid with even more work considering she’s a dex holder  so mariannes his best bet , even though they're only acquainted at the time they share a mutual acquaintance in serena at least . it's mutually beneficial in a sense , if marianne can't use mega then she's going to be at a disadvantage in the contest circuit ( i hc that contests are similar to ORAS in kalos hehe ) her ' job ' would be to monitor the behavioural changes in her pokemon after rehearsals and performances as well as their general health and wellbeing . there'd be weekly or biweekly ' check ups ' at the lab for more thorough analysis but these ' reports ' are more casual to fit both their schedules also , it's a good excuse to go out for him to go out for coffee considering he's so busy . but they're not dates , don't be silly . . . ( /hj he doesn't intend it to be . . but . . ) anway ! to actually answer your question now ( i'm soso sorry i can talk for aages they live in my head rent free 24/7 ; ) once he proposes this to her at the lab ( it's like on a weekend so nobody's there ) and gives her a list of pokemon that can mega she notices the only one that can is benched because of her accident in the unova circuit reasons and she goes ' umm , i don't really have any on this list at the moment ' and augustine is kind of stumped because this meeting is now way shorter than he expected it to be so he goes ' oh , that's ok . . well let's go out for coffee instead ' ( not those exact words ofc ) because

a.) she's not super familiar with lumiose and having a kind of ' guide ' might be helpful

b.) atp he knows she's a bit of a reserved person and the few times they've met he hasn't seen her with any friends so that's mildly concerning

c.) if they're eventually going to work together he should know her a bit better and

d.) she's piqued his curiosity honestly marianne's very bad at saying no especially on the spot so as nervous as this makes her she agrees , for similar reasons too . this person's offering her an advantage in her career so it'd be rude to say no , wouldn't it ? so they go to soleil ( because taking a shy girl to your best friends cafe on your first outing seems like a really bad idea ) and he offers to pay and she protests and there's that cliche back and forth about who's going to pay that makes the barista a bit ticked off ( people pleasers , the both of them ) and it takes her a bit to open up but he's genuinely enthused when it comes to learning about people . so eventually she does crack a little bit , especially when the topic of coffee comes up . she used to be a barista in castelia and coffee is his passion so that's their jumping off point . after that they both surprise each other with just how similar they are ! they talk about their thoughts on self expression ( he asks about her career ) and just how important it is and their energy just gels . they end up almost gushing to each other about their thoughts and beliefs , which is something she hasn't done in ages since she's been alone for quite a while so it makes her so so happy . he didn't expect this to come out of someone like her and she didn't expect someone primarily invested in research to share her beliefs and ideas . afterwards she feels bad that she's talked primarily about herself but still . . . it feels good and honestly ? that's kind of exactly what he was hoping for and he's pretty happy himself . they both are ig , more than they'd thought they would ! she definitely goes home and screams into a pillow about how embarrasing she was tho ehhehehe

this is just a giant word jumble but i just like her so so so so so so so so much and I need to spill that all over the floor. like it’s insane how much I like her I’ve really never felt this seriously about another person before

so like. ive been in a handful of e-relationships (and have stayed friends with everyone ive dated except for one [1] person. so if you decide to read this hi oomfies) but none I’ve ever considered a Serious Relationship no matter the age i was during any of them or how long we dated simply bc of my personal policy on dating, which was that i’ve never really wanted to think about things too deeply and rush things too far ahead. moving too fast has always scared me! this even ended up being why i ended the one relationship where i did not in the end stay friends with the other party, which was the one relationship I’ve ever had that wasn’t really a mutual breakup — they wanted to take things more seriously than i was ready for, especially bc I was at the time still an undergrad student who’d never had a job or any real sense of responsibility.* how could i see myself staying with someone for the long haul if i could barely see myself as being able to take care of myself in the near future? kind of reasoning.

when we first started dating, my girlfriend knew that & we both knew each other’s thoughts and feelings on romance, and neither of us was actually really expecting to stay in the relationship very long; we were both expecting to try things out and decide we worked better off as friends. but surprise!!!! it’s been three entire years since we started dating and i really really really genuinely look forward to seeing how far we can go!!!!! SKYLINE TO

synopsis: finding a random dvd sends you spiralling down memory lane

vi’s notes: i just finished high school and wrote this so yeah! inspired by this song!

you stumble across it when you’re done packing up the rest of your dorm room.

you notice that the writing is scratchy and illegible, it must be shoko’s handwriting you think to yourself, admiring the fact that she’s already succumbed to the terrible fate of doctors handwriting already despite her just being in her second year of med school.

the dvd cover is blank and you’re intrigued, excited to see what you are about to uncover. you blow the dust off the cd, slotting the dvd into the dvd player. in minutes the screen illuminates and the familiar building you know all too well appears.

jujutsu tech is draped in banners and balloons and you can faintly make out the wording on the banner. ‘congratulations class of 2007!’ it reads, before the camera moves and zooms in on a familiar duo. gojo and geto fixing each other's caps before breaking into their usual playfight, making you groan.

your initial feelings of laughter subsides as the immense amount of dread settles in your stomach. now through much older and perceptive eyes, you finally look at him and you nearly want to kick yourself. he was wasting away in front of your eyes and you were too caught up to know.

geto looks more gaunt, his cheeks looking razor sharp. the life in his eyes replaced by a sullen expression that he tries to hide behind the smiles that never reach his eyes. his hair though in his signature man bun is more messy, lacking the meticuluousness that it once had.

as if the camera knows of your upset, there is a cut to one of the classrooms in jujutsu tech. you're all asked one by one what you're gonna do once leaving the college whilst you all know deep down that you'll end up serving the jujutsu world in one way or another, you pretend.

pretend that you have the whole world ready to explore at your fingertips like the biggest issues you all face is what universities you're attending and not the issue trying to fight a rising amount of curses unbeknownst to the rest of humanity, for the betterment of the greater good.

shoko speaks up first. "when i leave this place, im going straight to med school to become a doctor." this is met with some whoops and clapping mainly by the two idiots beside you.

"shoko can i get free healthcare?" gojo butts in, to which geto responds "you literally have your own private family doctor asshole. how greedy can you get satoru?" he slaps the upside of satoru's head with rolled up newspaper. the softness in his voice creeping in with the use of gojo's first name.

then the camera then cuts to you. your cap is slightly tilted and your hair peeks out from your cap, you look radiant as ever with your sunkissed skin and your glossy lips. a sight for sore eyes.

"when i leave this place, im going to the university of tokyo." you answer confidently. nanami who is behind the camera asks "what are you going to study?" his question stemming from pure genuine intrigue rather than with disdain from the higher ups, makes you feel less defensive about your choice. "psychology." you reply with a slight smile.

"sweet, so we get our own personal doctor and a shrink!" gojo enthuses, snacking on some sweets that he fishes out from his pockets. geto rolls his eyes at gojo and you throw a book at gojo that doesn't hit him because of his stupid infinity. "watch your mouth." you warn but it's more teasing, more playful.

gojo goes next and surprises everyone with what he wants to do when he leaves jujutsu tech. "a teacher?" shoko splutters, mild surprise evident on her usual impassive face. "when did you suddenly turn into mother theresa?"

geto who is currently occupied making origami cranes using scrap paper adds, "you were always so tight about helping others. i mean instead of helping ijichi to become a better sorcerer you literally told him to quit." gojo shrugs, "i saved his life and he knows that deep down. if no one told him to quit, he'd be toast by now."

gojo's tirade on his future, is sped up a little bit and you smile figuring that he probably went on a rant about digimon and it's future, which was what he did his final english examination on. even though his topic strayed from the recommended list of topics the examination board provided he still got an A, which you remember pissed shoko and geto off for weeks.

speaking of geto, his dulcet rich voice is what draws you out of your brief nostalgia trip. "i'm going on a gap year." this piques the interest of you all, who grow quiet at first before running over to annoy him. "don't die on us okay! we can't deal with gojo on our own!" you and shoko wail out as you pull him every which way.

the camera picks up on gojo sulking in the corner with nanami's giggles being heard in the back. "quit being a baby, satoru." he says after breaking free from you and shoko's grasp. "you'll be able to live without me just fine."

the video abruptly ends there because a ball that was meant to hit shoko ends up hitting the camera instead, tilting it off the window ledge. gojo got that camera as a gift from his parents for doing his exams. "my mom is so gonna kill me." is the last words the camera picks up before it descends into darkness.

it is then followed by a three minute montage of pictures accumulated from the three years that you spent at the college. looking back at your round faced wide eyed selves grow into the individuals you are today, hardened by the tough conditions you grew up in is quite bittersweet.

tears brim your eyes as you stare at the black tv screen now, faced with a reflection of yourself that is now older, more wiser.

you pull out the crumpled piece of paper from the couch. you smoothen out the piece of paper, looking at him. it's a dated picture but you assume he looks the same, the haggard hair, the oversized clothing, his eyes that are now dark pools of hatred.

"some people go on gap years to find themselves and you wound up a mass murderering cult leader on the run." you let out a hollow laugh, unsure if its one of anger or despair. the bold red letters of death warrant written in bold above his head glare at you.

you kept the dvd and the glimpse of suguru in box marked as fragile.

fitting it seemed, the way you were still touchy about his defection said it all. you weren’t ready to let go of who suguru was and embrace who he is now.

but maybe one day you could.

idk, i kind of feel like i don’t know how to talk about my interests, though. other people can dig deep into and enthuse about gameplay and lore and technique and other aspects of their interests, while i kinda feel like i’m just… there, and a dork ass loser for not being able to express more than ‘i just think it’s neat :)’ because you can’t make connections based on common interests with something that shallow and it’s not like my interest in things is actually that shallow - i have Opinions in my head, i prommy - but it’s as if at some point it was made clear my thoughts on things didn’t matter to i shut off my ability to express my opinions on things
