Firstly, Its fiction and people can do whatever they want in fiction it does not matter.

But also, this just isnt correct? izutsumi is considered an adult in the dungeon meshi world with multiple sources proving this.

Here We have the Race bio for teh tall-men race, here it lists ever bit of information about tall men from where they are most common, to hieghts, notable tall-men characters including our favorite cat girl izutsumi.

Here we see that the age of maturity is specifically listed as 16 years of age. That at 16 years old in dungeon meshi, Tall-men are considered adults. Maybe this isnt good enough proof for you, well thats fine the words "age of maturity" are a bit vague. However we have this bit of dialogue between Laios, Chilchuck, And Marcille

Laios Specifically uses the word "adult" Because thats what it is, At 16 the Tall-Men are Adults. Adults who can Do adult things like Join the army, Go out and live on their own, Look for Love and Romance and sexual relationships. Want more proof of that? i can do that

Here we see that Chilchucks daughters Plan to try and seduce and romance Laios, Wanting to engage in a relationship with this new king. As for the ages? Chilchucks daughters are all between 14-16

Puckpatti is the youngest at 14

Flertom is the middle child at 16

And finally meijack who is also 16, however she must be older than flertom as she is referred to as "big sis".

As for laios? We know he is 26 years old.

So here we have two half foots who are 14 and 16 wanting to try and seduce King laios, who is 26 years old. A full 10+ year age gap between them, but it doesnt matter because as Flertom herself says

"But wont it embaras you, dad? To have three ADULT daughters who are unmarried?"

She literally says adult, because thats what chilchucks daughters are, they are adults because they fall into the age of maturity for half foots. (which is stated here)

So because they are at least 14, they are considered an adult and can try and romance king laios, a man who is 26 years old and chilchuck isnt upset at that because they are adult women (just upset that its laios of all people)

So if Chilchucks daughters at ages 14-16 are called adults, The half foot age of maturity is listed as 14, and they call THEMSELVES adults, and are shown showing romantic interest with a 26 year old man. Its safe to say that they are adults in every sense of the word, meaning that age of maturity is when the individual of that race is considered an adult, as for izutsumi?

She is listed as 17 years old, a full year past the age of maturity for Tall-men. Aka, a full year past when a tall-man is considered an adult, therefore by all the rules of the dungeon meshi world she is an adult.

As for the Aro/ace part? there is no specific wording for it besides these parts in the succubus arc

Here we see her say "i dont have a type or anything that im attracted to, so ill be fine."

Here we see the succubus take the form of izutsumis mother (or her supposed idea of her)

As somebody who is asexual (yes little lore drop about yours truly, i am actually ace myself) this doesnt strike me as her being asexual. That isnt to say you cant headcanon her as ace, thats your right and i fully support that especially being ace myself. But that doesnt make it canon though.

I personally headcanon her as demisexual, but i know that also isnt canon. and i dont want to try and claim it is.

Im not sure how death works so i dont know if you can see or hear this as i read it aloud as i type

Its almost August again, my least favorite month

It will be nine years

My how has it been that long?

I still look around for you anytime i hear someone say “seashell” thinking youve come back and its all some sort of sick joke and your calling out to me so i can return to your arms

Like the time you put fake roaches on my pillow when i was six and i cryed 

Just much worse of a joke 

This october ill be 22,

Can you believe it Momma?

The last time you saw me i wasnt even 13 yet

You missed it

Youve missed a lot 

Me being a teenager

My first kiss 

Heartbreak 

Me getting into all advanced classes after panicking all summer thinking i wasnt smart enough for it

My graduation 

Momma you missed my graduation, you promised,

You missed the tears from my diagnosis and learning the fact ill never be a momma 

Eventualy youll miss a wedding 

But thats just me…. What about the baby girl you left behind at only 2? 

Does she remember? Does she even know you? I cant ask her these things because when i lost you i lost her too

She lives with her father now……. I know shes  just turned 11 two days ago….

And i couldnt understand that he hurt you too

I forgive you

I forgive that i had to raise my 2 little sisters till i moved in with my father and sister and lost one of them to her terrible father

Am i saying my father is any better? NO but he would never do what her father did.

I forgive you for not stopping him 

And momma i forgive you for leaving us 

The day i walked in to that apartment and found you in that kitchen with a knife in your chest 

I never thought i would say that

I miss you, and i might not understand fully what your illness was like but my own gives me glimpses 

But ill contine you to learn from your story

Bucky: What are you doing this Sunday, Cinderella?

Y/N: I'm not sure. What are WE doing?

Bucky: Want to meet up after work?

Y/N: Sure!

Bucky: Maison Bourbon? 6p?

That text had you walking on clouds all day. You just saw him on Friday & he's asking you out for Sunday. He just stirred up the butterflies in your belly again.

Thankfully the busy brunch crowd on Sunday kept you busy and made the time fly by. You're able to change at work, switching into jeans & a crisp white top. A little dab of Nest's Turkish Rose to your pulse points and you're ready.

You get to the jazz club a little early. Bucky said you'll have some drinks, find dinner & then he had a surprise for you. Wow! A man who actually took the time to plan out a date, let alone a surprise! You step into the club & its more crowded than you expected, so you wander in deeper to see if you can snag a table for you and Bucky when a hand wraps around your arm & jerks you backwards.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

You end up face to face with your jerk of an ex-boyfriend, "Eric." You can smell the alcohol on his breath and you already know this isn't going to end well.

"God, I thought you left!"

"Where was I supposed to go? You threw me out with nothing!" You struggle to pull away from him, but his grip only gets tighter until it feels like he'll snap your arm like a twig. "Get your hands off of me!" Your eyes start to tear up. "You're hurting me," you hiss.

"Is that what you expect? For me to pay to get rid of you?!"

"I don't want shit from you. I want you to let me go & stay away from me." You scratch at his fingers, trying to pry them off you, but his grip is like steel. He starts pulling you out of the jazz club, knocking you into a waitress, who spills her drinks on you. Eric continues dragging you outside, both preoccupied; him looking at you, you looking at your outfit, you walk straight into what feels like a wall.

"Watch where the fuck you're going!" You know that tone all too well & you're ready to apologize for Eric & his drunken obnoxiousness. You look up into familiar blue eyes and the last of your resolve starts to crumble.

Bucky almost doesn't recognize you. Your tear filled eyes and look of abject misery on your face, is not what he's familiar with. Bucky quickly grabs Eric by the neck, digging his Vibranium thumb into his pressure point above his collar bone. Eric screams & lets you go, falling to his knees. You hurry to Bucky's side. In a hushed whisper, "Are you alright?" You let out a sob. "Did he hurt you?" He squeezes harder on Eric & he slumps further down & tries to hold in his scream.

"It's ok. Please. I just want to leave," your head down with embarrassment.

Looming over Eric, Bucky glares down at him. "If I hear that you're anywhere near her, I'm coming back for you." He gives another hard squeeze, getting one last scream out of Eric as he collapses to the sidewalk trying to breathe through the pain.

Bucky leads you back to his truck, but you stop. You are parked in the opposite direction. "Y/N?" He tries to wrap you in his arms but you stop him, "Stop. I'm sorry, Buck."

"Hey, you have nothing to be sorry about." He tries to cradle your face in his hand but you push his hands away & step back.

"Don't." Brushing your tears away with your palms. You know your make up is messed up and you probably look horrible, but it matches how you feel. "I'm going home. I can't go anywhere now." Looking down at your stained outfit.

"At least let me take you home. You're in no condition..."

"I don't want you to!" You wrap your arms around yourself trying to self soothe but you flinch at the pain in your arm.

Bucky notices the bruise already swelling your upper arm, "Did he do that to you?"

"It doesn't matter." Taking a deep breath, "You've been so great to me, but I'm not worth the hassle. I dont' have my life together. Things are just...I don't know how...It's not what..." Your sobs break Bucky's heart. "It was nice meeting you & spending time with you, Bucky. I'll never forget it. Have a safe trip back to New York." You turn & head back to your truck. Bucky follows you at a distance to make sure you get to your truck ok.

Taking out his phone he calls Avenger's Intel Dept & reads off your license plate to them. "I need an address, right now. Send it to my phone." Bucky does a quick jog back to his truck to discreetly follow you home. The closer he gets to your home, the more he dislikes the area. This is not a safe place for you. He sees that your truck is in the parking lot & does a quick search to find your apartment. The light is on so he can assume you're safely inside.

As soon as you walk into your apartment, you start stripping out of your daiquiri stained clothes, kicking it to a pile on the side. Your main goal is to get in the shower to clean off & have a good cry. You have to make it fast because you quickly run through your hot water. Fuck! You hate it here!

Scrubbed and clean, dressed in pajamas shorts and an oversized tee, you pick up your clothes and try soaking it in the tub, hoping none of that will leave a permanent stain. You had such hopes for tonight and Eric had to ruin it. God, you hated him. If only he'd fall into a swamp and get eaten by an alligator!

Your arm is really beginning to throb. You pop a couple of Tylenol and dig around the freezer for some frozen corn. You hold that against your arm and it feels like heaven. You curl up on your futon couch that doubles as your bed and almost give in to another cry session, but it's interrupted by a knock on your door.

Your heartbeat kicks up a notch. No one knows where you live. You pick up a metal bat you keep by the door. Before you can check to see who it is, "Princess, open up."

"Go away, Bucky!" What is he doing here?! No!

"I'm not leaving. We still have a date to go on." Silence. "Fine. I'll sit out here and eat these BBQ ribs by myself. I wish you could smell them. It smells even better than the ones Sam cooked up last week." The door cracks open a couple of inches. "Well, hello." You just stare at him through the crack and he sees the bat in you hands. "Think you're going to beat me up for some ribs."

"I might."

Bucky gives you a smile and leans closer, "You could try."

You lean the bat back in the corner & open the door wider, "How'd you find me?"

Shrugging, "I'm an Avenger." He walks forward slowly giving you every opportunity to stop him or tell him no, but you don't. He enters your apartment and you lock up after him. "Nice place."

"It's a shitty shoebox."

Frowning, "No. From outside, ok yes. But you've made inside nice and...cozy." He quickly drops a kiss on your wet hair and moves to put food on the kitchen counter. You follow him and he hears your stomach growling and he laughs. "Hungry??"

You refuse to answer but you take out 2 plates and hand one to him. When your plates are set and you grab some water and head to your couch. He would have to sit directly on your bag of frozen corn. "Was this going to be your dinner??"

"No. It was for my arm." That brings back Bucky's terrifying glare. He stand up and goes to the kitchen and grabs a tea towel & ties the bag to your arm. "Thank you."

Bucky lands a chaste but firm kiss on your mouth. "You never have to thank me for taking care of you." The second kiss is soft and sweet, "ok?" You nod. "Eat your dinner. It's getting cold." You smile at him and pick up a rib.

Dinner was delicious. He already knows you are easily bribed with food. The ease and familiarity of being with Bucky is so relaxing. You were afraid he'd want to talk about Eric but he didn't bring him up. Once dinner was over, and you cleaned up, you wrapped your arms around him, hugging him tight. "I'm happy you're here. I'm sorry I was so rude earlier, back in town. But I'm very very grateful you showed up when you did. Thank you."

"You're welcome. Are you ready for your surprise?"

"What? Now?"

Nodding, "I need you to dress a little warmer than that. But dress comfortable." You grab leggings and an oversized sweater & go to the bathroom to change. "And hurry up. We don't want to be late."

Bucky gets you into his truck and starts driving outside of the city. "Where are you taking me?"

"It's a secret."

You drive a lil bit farther and the sky lights up. "Did you see that?!"

"Shit!"

"What's wrong?" Bucky immediately pulls off to the side of the road, "Bucky??" He stop the truck and jumps out running to your side to open the door to let you out. "What's happening?" He drags you around to the bed of the truck as the sky lights up again. Aurora Borealis. You gasp. Bucky lowers the tailgate and jumps in the back and scrambles to set up blankets and pillows. He lifts you up to join him on the back.

Being the secret nerd that he is, "It's rare that we're able to see it this far south." Bucky leans back with you in his arms. "But it'll be visible as far south as Hawaii right now." You snuggle in closer to him and you don't know what's more amazing to behold, the Northern Lights or this sweet man who did all of this for you.

I have blurb idea for the kids in season one when you have time for it. In season one after bug left with Nancy and Jonathan the kids debriefing on what they just saw. dustin frowns. for once, he really isnt sure. he saw nancy and jonathan earlier, how they almost left you behind tonight, and he saw the hurt in your eyes when you watched them together. theres feelings there between the three of you, and dustin is afraid for you. its obvious to everyone how much you adore jonathan; your entire world revolves around the guy.

with a sigh, dustin shakes his head. "no idea, man. i dont understand teenagers."

"no one does." lucas rests his head in his hand and chews sadly on his cookie. then, with poorly hidden curiosity, he asks, "my crush on y/n isnt that obvious, right? like, she has no idea?"

mike and dustin again share a look and shake their heads at their friend while el lifts her head up. with all the energy she has left in her, she responds to lucas. "friends dont lie."

lucas covers his face in embarrassment and groans as mike, el, and dustin all break into laughter.

Just wanted to chime in as a transmasc, there really is a problem with gatekeeping and bigotry in the transmasc community. Like some of the worst racists and transmisogynists ive met were fellow trans men, its actually insane. Like one guy i knew was all for kink till trans women were into it, then it was weird and predatory. He also accused a trans woman of faking being trans to prey on women, along with telling lightskinned black people they cant say the n word because they were “too lightskinned to use it” he was white. This segways into my point on the egg discourse, which is stupid. I was explicitly told by multiple trans men i couldnt be transmasc as i was the “token cis” of the group, to the point i was convinced i was faking being trans for attention. The only reason i am happy and out today is because my boyfriend and best friends sat me down and informed me that the way I talked about gender was not the way cis people do, and they thought I may be trans. That is the only reason I was ever able to accept myself. So I’m a firm believer it’s a good thing to point out, and the fact that its only even ever really an issue is when its suggesting someone may be a trans woman is just blatant transmisogyny. Like the fact there are people out there who would rather have less trans women in the world, than happy trans trans women is insane. Being trans is something that has brought me so much happiness, i cant imagine not wanting that for someone else, i dont think some of these people realize how awful it can be to live as something you arent, i felt so ugly and awful about myself and my body till i realized i was trans. Also ive never run into any of that type of behavior with any trans woman i know, Im sure they exist but like it gets to a point where when i can name a list of trans men who behave horribly to trans people (especially trans women), poc, neurodivergent, etc. but no trans women i know who behave that way, and i know a lot of trans women, like at some point there is a pattern that needs to be addressed. Trans joy is something everyone deserved, and the act of simply suggesting someone may be trans will save more lives than it takes, which always makes it worth it. Sorry for the long and kinda rambley message, i dont know how much sense this makes but i wanted to put my two cents in as a trans man, which hopefully might give some perspective to people. rambling abt my danny johnson hcs bc I dont have anything better to do

alright so the fog most definitely changed everyone in it, but while most of them are for worse, Danny for better, actually. not for the "hehe I can mutilate people without worrying abt consequences" part. by all means I believe danny would get bored. of the same methods of killing, sacrifing, stalking for short periods, the same realms, same victims, etc. Danny, as patient as he can be while stalking, is a thrill seeking man, and only human, whether he likes it or not.

but this is a key part of him actually getting to explore who 'danny johnson' is. he spent his entire life putting on masks, physical or metaphorical, that he has no idea who 'danny' is otherwise, and this would give him a chance to explore, since, well, being painfully average isnt any advantage to him here and he has nothing better to do since he cant focus his attention on stalking and studying other people. when theres no one left to study, one is forced to study themselves.

he could actually grow out his hair, give himself stick and poke tats (maybe with the help of the legion, who knows), grow a beard to see if he likes it (I dont think he would), etc.

going from this, if he forms genuine bonds with anyone (especially any survivors) bc yk what else is left to do, he could actually, just maybe, open up about his past and realize oh fuck, that shit wasnt healthy or normal at all. I dont think itd fix him, but itd give him a better understanding of himself. I dont think he would ever upon up about this if it wasnt for the fog.

similarly I dont think he'd form any romantic bonds with anyone if it wasnt the fog as well, I fully believe danny used to cut himself off (more accurately, cut THEM up) as soon as he felt his feelings for anyone would get in the way of his mission. I dont think he even recognizes romantic love anymore. the difference in the fog is, well, you cant get rid of your problems by murdering them here bc they just come back like a boomerang.

he semi-canonly has NPD (as in the devs called him a bit narcissistic once and I stuck to it like a starving leech) and I most definitely believe he has the symptoms, as a lack of a sense of self is common with NPD anyway. so since the entity can and does change a few things with the killers, I love to think Danny has tapetum lucidum in his eyes, like a cat, to see better in the dark, esp beneath the mask's eyes.

the way his costume's... strap.. tentacle... things work is similar to a cat's tail as well. swishing furiously when upset, resting naturally when calm, curling slowly when curious etc. it makes it a little bit easier to guess how hes feeling with the emotionless mask on, for the theoretical audience at least.

Okay no but seriously. If we take the timeloop thing seriously + Haku being a spy, here's the theory:

Taiga knows the MC is the trigger for an awful event and tried killing them back in the Prologue in order to cut the problem on its roots. Haku, if we consider him as the spy, WANTS the event to happen (considering he could also be aware of the loop), which is why he saved us and took us to Darkwick, therefore letting it all play out once again.

If Haku isn't the spy, then we would have to chalk it up as Taiga knowing and trying to kill us, but destiny (???) being a bitch, therefore putting Haku there as a pawn to make things play out again

Maybe the spy can control other ghouls? Who know tbh

Finally, what is going on during the first scene we see in the game? Darkwick on fire and the first character we choose jumping off of the building? I wonder what would happen if we choose Taiga as our first card....... maybe I should create a sub acc

There is also a good theory on reddit made by u/imonlybr16 that states this:

"Before the prologue, when you open the game for the first time, you're greeted with the opening scene involving MC running through the halls of a ruined Darkwick. The question is asked "When the world is collapsing around you, whose hand will you take?"

There you're taken to your character choice screen. The guy you choose is later shown on the railing of a balcony, about to jump off.

Now I think I have a very far fetched and vague idea as to what is going on.

In chapter 2, we learn that the person that Alan killed was Dante or at least he thought he did. But we meet Dante and he's very much alive.

This comes theory number one.

Note the use of actually here. You can 100% still die, you just end up coming back to life.

If Rui is your home screen he talks about accidentally killing someone else in his dorm and being annoyed with having to lift them back to Obscuary. This struck me as a particularly odd dialogue because Rui's curse causes people to die.

Unless, you can't die on campus.

This would explain Dante pretty much instantly. Yes Alan killed him but yes he's alive.

The campus itself is an anomaly, stopping people from dying doesn't sound too far fetched. I expect this to be revealed with the other two members of Obscuary, as that dorm seems to have a connection to death. One of the things that always pops up is that ghouls aren't immortal, no matter how quickly they heal.

Also explains how Calamari didn't die in chapter 3. Ren ran from the dorm > the caves > the jetty and Calamari was already pretty dehydrated in the beginning.

But OP you might say, aren't all the guys talking like they believe they're going to die.

Luckily, that brings us to vauge and far fetched theory number two.

In the very last chapter of the prologue we get to see Kaito's wickhive. There we see three pretty interesting threads.

. There's gonna be an uprising soon

. One of you is a demon

. There's a guy who could see the future

Kaito is surprised at something he sees in this scene but we don't learn what it is. This chapter's 'preview' is one of the scenes we see in the very beginning. Blood and a Lily.

I believe that the first thread is foreshadowing and will . After you meet your chosen guy standing on the railing you get a line of dialogue (or not if you picked Towa) that changes depending on who you picked. Some imply that what they're doing is going to save you(Jiro, Zenji and Sho), some apologize stating that they could protect what they cared about until the very end (Luca,Kaito,Haru and Yuri) but three characters caught my attention

Leo: Life sucks and then you die,right? I just want to make the assholes responsible regret it.

Ren: This is exactly why I didn't to do this! I knew this was how it was going to end.

Subaru: This is all my fault. I don't expect you to forgive me, but this is the least I can do. Please take this as my final act of good faith.

Especially Subaru's and Ren's, that seemingly imply either the MC's (Ren's) or their (Subaru) involvement in the current situation. Now what does this has to do with a potential uprising?

One of the things we learn from the very beginning is the inter-politics of the houses and by extension the ghouls. Especially after the fallout of the clash. Things are pretty tense and an uprising or rebellion seems to be the most likely thing.

As to what happened and why? I have no clue. Though one thing to note is that according to the prophecy, as long as the ghouls are in Darkwick, they prevent a disaster from coming. If Darkwick is destroyed however, the prophecy can't be fulfilled, or can it?"

This is such a good theory too, I really think u/imonlybr16 has probably gotten a lot of things right.

Although it's weird that death is such a big threat to us specifically, but maybe the Academy can't prevent death by curses, much like the Mesmer Matches dont work on someone who's cursed. Hhmm...
