"Daa daa!!" d/n ran towards her dad the first thing he stepped into the house. Her eyes were red and there were still tears left in her eyes.

"hey there little one," your husband picked your 3 year old up, "are you crying because you missed your daddy soooo much?"

"you wish," you laughed at your husband, giving him a peck on his lips as he frowned.

"so you don't miss daddy anymore? My princess is all grown up now, huh?" he feigned a hurt expression to your daughter.

"I do.." d/n gave a little pout exactly like her father's, "but daddy, Aunty h/n and Uncle Bokuto are having another baby!!"

"oya?" Kuroo looked at you in confusion, "why is this a news to cry about?"

"It's not fair!" d/n wailed, "I want another baby too!"

Kuroo laughed as he tossed his daughter in the air, giving a little kiss to her forehead.

"I'm on it," he winked at his mini him, "give daddy about 4 weeks, then you can share with Uncle Bo that you're gonna have another sibling too~"

"Tetsu!!" you pinched his sides, but something tells you that he was indeed serious.

Bokuto Koutaro

"Mummy! You're buttercup, I'm Blossom and d/n is Bubbles!" Your twin daughter came running to you while you were making an afternoon snack for the family.

"Hey! how about daddy!" your husband whined.

"You're professor!" d/n, twin number 2 exclaimed.

"But that makes mummy my daughter!" you husband finally got the logic right, "That's wrong! Mummy's my wife!"

You always found it funny how your husband liked to bicker with his 4 year old twin daughters about small matters like this.

"Okay!" twin number 1 exclaimed, "Mummy, we need another sister!"

"YA!!" twin 2 shouted from the living room.

"HEY HEY HEY!!" your husband stood up, skipping towards you with sparkles in his eyes.

He picked up the carrot you were slicing and dipped it into the hummus, "I think that's a great idea, mummy."

The carrot and hummus were placed right at your lips, "I think we can have the powerpuff boys next~"

Miya Atsumu

"alright, let's eat!" Osamu placed the pot of curry down on the dining table. You, Atsumu and your 3 year old son were visiting Osamu and h/n at their new home. Of course Osamu the chef had to cook personally for his favourite little nephew, s/n.

s/n always loved eating whatever his uncle made. He would polish his plate clean and that always made Osamu very proud.

"So~" h/n started to talk as everyone began eating, "we have news to tell you guys~"

"h/n is pregnant!" Osamu could barely contain himself.

Atsumu and you cheered loudly. "s/n! Uncle samu gonna have a baby! you'll have a play mate!" Atsumu told his son.

s/n stared at everyone with a blank look, feeling confused at what was going on. He didn't really understood the words 'pregnant', or 'playmate' quite yet."

As the four of you settled down, s/n suddenly broke the silence. "daaadaa! I want baby too!"

Everyone broke into laughter again as Osamu scruffled his nephew's hair.

Atsumu propped his head on his elbows as he looked at you with a grin on his face, "we'll have to see what mama says about that, little monkey~"

"Okay, let's just focus on dinner, shall we!" your face was flushed red.

Tsukishima Kei

"daddy~" your little princess tugged onto her dad's fingers. It was always when she wanted something from her dad, she'd do that.

"What is it, d/n?" The middle blocker picked his daughter up.

"Stella said that she's gonna have another sister in awhile so she won't have time to play with me next time..." she pouted

"oh, Stella from school?"

"Uh huh.." she frowned, "daddy?"

"Mhmm?"

"Can I have another sister too?"

Tsukishima blinked twice at what his daughter just said. The heat creeping up to his face as his ear tips reddened.

He cleared his throat, "What if it's a brother?"

"no, I don't want a brother!" d/n crossed her arm.

"But we can't really decide on whether it's a boy or a girl, princess.." Tsukishima gave his daughter a little sheepish smile.

"okay.. I just want another baby so they can play with stella's baby and I can play with Stella again!"

Tsuki raised a brow at his daughter. She was indeed smart but in kinda the wrong way. He shook his head, deciding not to further explain the situation.

"I'll talk to mommy tonight, okay? So you'll have to head to bed earlier so mommy and I have time to discuss about this."

Oikawa Tooru

"daadaa maamaa!!" your four year old was excited to see both of you pick her up today.

Your husband carried her in one arm and held your hand on the other. Even as he grew older, your husband's charisma never faded, there were still many moms stealing glances at his handsome features. But now as he held your daughter and you, all you felt was pride.

"Teacher Daisy is having a baby in her belly!!" she excitedly exclaimed.

You both looked at the young teacher, and congratulated her, wishing her all the best and to take good care of yourself.

"Cupcake, you have to be careful around Teacher Daisy, alright, do not knock into her or cause her to fall, her little baby in her belly might get hurt." You reminded d/n.

"Okay mama," she nodded her head

"When you were in your mommy's belly, daddy was very careful too~" your husband smiled at the memory, "daddy watched as you grew bigger in mommy's belly~"

"That can be changed," Oikawa winked at you.

I love making Sanji have good siblings so I introduce you: Zosan!Siblings ✨

Yeah, in this, things are basically the same in Sanji's backstory (and Golden, a little bit). But after he runs away, Sanji finds Mihawk, who adopts him before the rock even happens. Some months later, when both father and son are buying things, they find a also 8 years old Zoro who wants to fight Mihawk and has 3 swords.

The boy keeps following them all afternoon, until it's time to Sanji and Dracule go back at Kuraigana. Zoro still is saying he wants to fight "The Best Swordman", but the man says he is too young. So, even if he don't totally want to, he asks Mihawk to train him, then they will know when Zoro is ready.

Mihawk thinks a little and, yes, having a kid to play with Sanji is good. But where are this brat parents? Zoro says he don't have any. So fuck it, he can see what will happen.

Zoro goes at Kuraigana with them, finally noticing the blonde boy the same age as him who the man presents as his son, Sanji. They get along surprisingly quickly, starting to see each other as brothers.

Mihawk also starts to see Zoro as his son, and Zoro see Mihawk as his father. They stay this way for two years, until one day, when they're returning to Kuraigana and a storm starts to happen. Sanji fells from the boat, much to his father and brother panic.

Then he stops at the rock. And stays there for 3 months. Until he sees his father boat and yells, yells so loud that he almost can't talk later, seeing his dad and brother coming at the rock, to save him and Zeff.

After this, Zoro is glued at his "baby" bro all the time, afraid to lose him like he lost Kuina before.

Some months after, with Baraties opening, Sanji talk with Mihawk about working there, maybe? So he can be teached how to be a chef? His father think that isn't a bad idea at all.

So he starts to work at the restaurant. Him and Zoro creating their "bickering sibling relatonship" more and more. Zoro starts to be a Bounty Hunter some years later.

Then cannon happens. Until the Baratie arc where Zoro already knows the place (because it's "Uncle Zeff" restaurant) and, well, Mihawk and Zoro's fight still happen but not this bad.

Zoro and Sanji don't openly say they are siblings because, 1) there's no need 2) the dumbasses think everyone already knows. The only person who actually knows is Robin.

Alabasta arc is a funny thing because there are Luffy's big brother who is a little to much interested in Sanji? What the fuck?! Ace flirts with his "little brother" Sanji all the damn time. Ace notices Zoro glares but think he is jealous.

He catches Ace and Sanji kissing and, fuck it, if this "Second Commander from the Whitebeard Pirates" think he can simply date, flirt or whatever with Zoro's baby brother then he's wrong. He goes to talk with Ace, gave him a shovel talk and knows if the man is serious about te blonde, because he can tell Sanji is. Thats when Ace discovers the green haired guy is actually Sanji's brother.

Then the crew is separated, and just Zoro shows up and, hell, he just lost his brother again. Mihawk also is nervous and the only thing that they can do is wait the 2 years. Zoro also is relieved that Ace survived because he would never be able to forgive himself if his brother had gone through a heartbreak and he wasn't there to console him.

The timeskip ends and they meet each other at Sabaody, both 21 now. Ace joins the crew and is actually and openly dating Sanji now. The only two persons that know they're brothers are Ace and Robin, Ace also thinks everyone else knows.

WCI happens and Ace go with the Sanji rescue team, Zoro wants to go too but he need to lead the crew at Wano since he is the first mate. He asks them to bring the curly browns back, hoping his brother is okay.

Luffy marries Ace and Sanji when they're going away from Whole Cake, and Sanji just thinks about his brother and father reactions upon the news.

After the fight in Wano, Zoro finally hears about acesan being husbands now. Great, fucking great. Everyone else just finds about Zoro and Sanji being siblings at Wano when Zoro says something like "You better treat my brother the right way, Portgas".

At Karai Barai, Mihawk finds out his blonde son is fucking married with Portgas D. Ace, fucking great. He also gives a shovel talk at Ace.

AMAZING! HILARIOUS! WOW! The fact Zoro snuck off with three real swords including Wado from Koshiro[he actually just got lost with three real swords] is fucking hilarious to me. Amazing.

So Mihawk finds Sanji and takes him in, maybe he raided the Orbit and took the brat with him a few months after Sanji's escape from Germa and has just latched onto the kid the way the kid latched onto him. Sanji is still small, the size of a five year old when Mihawk first takes him in. Then a few months later as he and Sanji are in the East Blue for something or other they find this random kid following them and demanding to fight them when they're getting supplies to make the trip back to Kuriagana after spending a few days island hopping there. He keeps demanding to fight Mihawk who keeps telling him he's too young and not trained enough to even attempt to fight him. Sanji is sticking so close to Mihawk in fear because he knows logically it's not Yonji but there's just something in his brain about green and fighting that terrifies him. Eventually the kid changes his tune and asks to be trained by him instead and Mihawk looks the boy over and sees the determination and asks for his name, the kid gives it easily and his name is Zoro and he's carrying not only his dream but his dead friends dream. So Mihawk agrees to take him with a nod from Sanji so they head to Kuriagana with another child, a playmate and an equal hopefully for the boys. Zoro asks who the blond kid following him around is and Mihawk introduces Sanji as his son. When Zoro asks why he has a baby with him Mihawk says due to some incidents Sanji is small for his age but he is in fact eight years old. Sanji frowns at the boy as they find out Zoro is also an orphan as they pack up and set sail for their island on the Grand Line. They get to know each other on the way there and find out Zoro is a few months older than Sanji and was being raised in a dojo.

Zoro and Sanji get along well, thankfully. Zoro does seem to have issues with navigating around the island and the castle but Sanji seems to find him no problem. Mihawk can find him by his observation haki relatively easily but doesn't necessarily need to with Sanji around. Sanji will guide the green haired boy back from wherever he got himself lost this time. Mihawk smiles gently at his boys as time goes on, they are good fits for each other, Zoro naturally protective and Sanji caring, of course Mihawk trains them individually and together, he reads to them and educates them. They live relatively happily and peacefully until a freak storm on the way back to Kuriagana tosses Sanji overboard and they can't get him. Zoro is screaming into the crashing rain and thunder as Mihawk holds him back from jumping in after his brother because he can't lose both of them. He can't. Mihawk holds his eldest who is sobbing as he sails them through the storm and back to Kuriagana where he continues to hold the boy as they grieve. Meanwhile Sanji is on a rock, he doesn't know who the geezer is, doesn't know how he got there. He's terrified and crying because he's going to die here. He knows it. The geezer explains how he scooped him up and then the boat he was on crashed and how they got there, that they share the same dream of the finding the All Blue. Sanji wants to go home to his dad and brother, wants to be curled up in the study with them sleeping like they do sometimes. He wants his mom too.

Then, months later, after all the food is gone, the geezer's - Zeff, his name is Zeff - leg is gone, he sees a small boat, so familiar that he thinks he's hallucinating as he sits with Zeff and creeps to the edge and starts screaming for help, loud and scratchy and hoarse. Then he sees it is his dad and brother, the green hair and hat unmistakable as they approach yelling his name. Zeff is staring at their rescuers in disbelief as Sanji is too dehydrated and exhausted to cry as they sail to the nearest port to get them checked over. Zoro and Mihawk have a hard time not touching Sanji because they thought he was dead and instead he was starving on a rock and a man gave up his leg for him. Mihawk rewards Zeff handsomely and assures him once his apparent restaurant is open they will come eat there. Sanji is so much smaller again as they travel back, both he and Zoro tied with rope to make sure they won't fall out again and if they do they will be far easier to fish out. Mihawk carries a sleeping Sanji with one arm and holds Zoro's hand with the other when they arrive back to Kuriagana as Zoro vows to become stronger again to protect his little brother. Mihawk smiles gently to him and says that's a good reason to be strong.

They make good on Mihawk's deal and eat at Baratie quite a bit, the staff knows Zeff has a particular soft spot for the kids with the swordsman and it always weirds out the new staff, being their waiter is almost a rite of passage. Between the bickering of the kids and the World's greatest swordsman chiding them and the literal owner will let the blond one in the kitchen to help cook and prep and learn while the swordsman and the green haired one go out and practice katas. Their bickering only increases after the blond moves in some years later to work full time. Mihawk and Zeff will chuckle over their fights until something gets broken, the adults have also noticed while Zoro is protective, Sanji is the one tasked more often than not to go find the moss when he's gotten lost somewhere. Mihawk has absolutely used a child leash on Zoro, not because he's a runner he'd just take a wrong turn and then Mihawk and Sanji would have to follow his haki to find him. Zoro is incredibly incensed that Sanji's observation haki is better than his until Mihawk explains privately that it's from before he had adopted Sanji and didn't know much of Sanji's time before taking him in and it's best to just leave it because Zoro has conqueror's haki which Sanji doesn't so Zoro decides fair is fair with that.

Of course, when Zoro is in Shells Town in the yard and everything he eats the rice ball and joins Luffy's crew as the first member. He follows Luffy as they collect crew members until they land at Baratie and eat and if the three other members of the crew are noticing the animosity between the waiter and the swordsman they don't say anything. Then Zoro fights Mihawk and still almost dies. After Arlong Park and they're headed to Logue Town Sanji sits by Zoro and smokes a cigarette, both of them giving each other shit eating grins.

"I can't believe Dad let you live."

"Get fucked." Zoro laughs at him and so is Sanji because yeah, this tracks for them. They sail and pick up Vivi and them and then Sanji berates Zoro for the dumbassery that is trying to chop his legs off and Zoro knows it hit a nerve with his brother. Zoro feels the same way after finding out Sanji broke his fucking back on Drum Island. Then in Alabasta when they meet Ace who is all over his brother? Zoro is thoroughly unamused by the whole situation. Mostly because a White Beard Commander? Who is Luffy's older brother? Really? His manners are better than most of the crews though, including Zoro's so he can see it. Whether or not Mihawk will approve is a whole different story because Mihawk, much like Zoro, doesn't show a lot of interest in people. In anyway. Mihawk has his kids and that seemed to be more than enough for the guy. Still, Zoro approaches Ace because Sanji's bleeding heart is on his sleeve and gives him a shovel talk and Ace is staring Zoro. Confusion turning to slightly horrified humor as he promises to take care of Sanji because Luffy is his baby brother and he gets it. They look so sappy and Zoro gives him so much shit for it and says he's going to tell their dad. Sanji looks mortified at the prospect of Zoro telling Mihawk he's dating anyone just at how he would phrase it alone.

Canon continues until Zoro shows up on Kuraigana, half dead and Perona and Mihawk hunched over over him. Mihawk sends Perona for medical supplies as Zoro mumbles about Luffy and Ace and getting back to Sabaody to which Mihawk says he's no shape to travel. Zoro is insisting about saving Ace 'cause he's Luffy's brother and he loves Sanji so much and Sanji loves him back. Then he passes out before Mihawk can ask any questions.

When he comes to Perona hands him a mini snail and says Mihawk wanted him to call him or something and gives him the number. Perona leaves and Zoro calls his dad - who is on his way to the execution - and explains Ace is his captain's brother and Sanji and Ace might be in love. They're certainty super close. Mihawk listens carefully to his elder son and hangs up as he approaches Marineford in preparation for the coming war.

Mihawk is tense because he doesn't know where his younger son is again and has to find out. He's also actively debating in his head the merits of a frozen bounty at this point because his children do not live at home, or they didn't. One is back and he has Moria's first mate. He sees Ace on the platform and then there's the Impel Down escapees, including a couple of his colleagues. He does his part, enough to keep his bounty frozen as he leaves, staying close enough to watch the events and sees the brothers live as they leave the war. They're alive for now so Mihawk leaves with that information.

When he returns to Kuraigana Perona won't stop complaining about how 'not cute' Zoro is and how he keeps asking for his dad. Mihawk says he'll take care of it and finds Zoro doped up on what has to be the strongest medicine Perona managed to make, Zoro is basically mummified in his bed. Mihawk knows Zoro doesn't lie but he does sometimes keep secrets so he sits in the chair next to the bed as Zoro's drug hazy eyes lock onto his father and says he wasn't strong enough again. Mihawk nods and says they'll work on it. Zoro asks about Luffy and Ace and Mihawk says they were alive when he left and Zoro nods at that. When Mihawk asks what happened to the crew Zoro says Kuma sent him away when they were running on Sabaody and he was one of the first to go. He failed all his duties as first mate to protect. Mihawk tells him to rest and they'll train soon, when he leaves Perona just asks when he had a kid and Mihawk answers he has two and he got them a few months apart eleven years ago, the other one isn't there. Perona is frowning at him as Mihawk heads to his office and shuts the door. Mihawk sheds tears for the second time over the blond kid he kidnapped from a cruise liner, he does not blame Zoro or the crew. He doesn't blame Kuma either, the government however? Perhaps he'll go back to his former moniker.

Mihawk trains Zoro as Perona watches them. She and Zoro bond over there time there and eventually asks who the brother is. Zoro answers the cook with the twirly brows and blond hair and she shrugs because she didn't see him. She does watch Mihawk beat him over and over again. They drink and talk as they're both heavily devoted first mates to their captains and the faith they have in them is unrivaled. Zoro grins at Mihawk at some point and says they should take Perona to Baratie and Mihawk asks back if he wants to deal with Zeff while Sanji is missing because he personally doesn't. Perona asks if the food is that good and they assure her it is, but Zeff would absolutely dote on her the way they don't and Perona calls them not cute. Again.

Sabaody with the crew coming together and Ace is there smiling at the cook who is smiling back and he's helping with the groceries and everything and he has patience. He's sweet words and soft touches which the blond finally seemingly indulged in. Zoro finds him after they set sail and says he should really stop disappearing on him and a fight ensues. Of course. Everything is canon except Ace is there. They also take the captain's quarters, and the first time Ace sees Sanji set himself on fire and then he and Zoro see him sky walk they just stare. Ace buries his face in his hat and sounds like he's praying and Zoro curses in the dialect Sanji used to accidentally talk in sometimes. He only remembers the curse words though.

They go through the motions and see Jinbei and meet Law and fight Doflamingo, it's all canon. When the crews meet up on Zou and they find out Sanji is missing and Zoro just has that sinking feeling again of failing and losing and Sanji again. He doesn't know how he's supposed to handle it as he listens to the name Vinsmoke and thinks of how his dad commented on them moving into the East Blue from the North Blue. Sanji's accent now faded as Ace hides his face under his hat as Nami and Brook tell them everything. Before the rescue team sets off Ace promises to bring Sanji back to them and Zoro tells him he's holding him to it, otherwise it won't just be him he has to deal with. Ace nods and leaves for Tottoland and Nami keeps assuring him they'll get Sanji back, he didn't want to leave willingly.

When they find Sanji, after a few fights and a long walk around the islands Ace keeps yelling at Sanji to stop and Luffy keeps yelling at him to stay out of it. Even after Luffy passes out from the fight and Nami slaps the cook who walks away from them like nothing is wrong, Ace knows he doesn't want to be there and Luffy yelling about starving and sits and refuses to move. Ace is half tempted to haul him up and leave to chase after the carriage but he doesn't. He listens to his captain and the navigator is telling them they should go but Luffy is refusing. He'll keep refusing and they all know it so they sit and wait with him. When Sanji does come back, with a bento for the starving captain and confesses he wants to leave but can't and tries to leave the crew again, this time Ace puts his foot down and says Zoro will kill him if he doesn't bring his little brother back so they're leaving. Together. Sanji and Nami are staring at Ace as Luffy is laughing because yeah, Zoro would be really upset if they didn't bring his little brother back and Sanji is rubbing face and agreeing because it would be a terrible thing if the crew fell apart because he didn't come back. Not to mention what their dad would do. So they go through with the plan and make the escape and Sanji gets shot and Ace fusses. Ace also hurls a fire ball at Judge and tells him to fuck off because he should know when to shut the fuck up. Luffy asks why Ace did that when he was listing all of Sanji's good quailtes and everyone yells at Luffy that's not what he was doing. Before they reach Wano they're married and send a certificate off after the Vinsmoke poster comes out to make sure it's only the one.

Zoro of course doesn't see these posters but Mihawk does and he's staring at the two that came out three days, if that, apart of his younger son. And his apparent husband. Perona asks him if he's going to be fine without her and he says he will and when she asks what's going on he responds with his youngest son just married Portgas D. Ace and took his name. Which is fine, he just wasn't asked for a blessing despite the help he gave at Marineford, they're pirates after all. It's not like permission is needed and chances are he got it from Zoro if he did ask. Perona is staring at him owlishly as she decides she's not going to investigate further and wishes him luck with the shovel talk when he gets to give it to the Pirate Prince and leaves to go find her captain. Zoro on the other hand finds out when he finds Luffy and he's telling him about the escape and how big of a dick Judge is and how he didn't like Sanji's other brothers. He did marry Ace and Sanji on the way there though and that was fun! So they'll get to throw a huge feast for that once their business is done there because they also need to welcome Jinbei to the crew. Zoro is asking Luffy to slow down and asks why he married them because this means his dad going to be even angrier and Luffy shrugs and said it's to make sure Sanji can't leave again to get married or something. Zoro is going to break Ace's legs for not asking.

After all is said and done in Wano, Marco meeting the Strawhat crew officially and gives his blessing for the marriage and Yamato is congratulating his friend on his marriage and the feasts are long and the parties longer. Sanji and Zoro are sitting together again because of the death pact and talking and Sanji says their dad is going to be so pissed about all of what he's done. Zoro shrugs and says that he can deal and if he's upset about it he can be upset at both of them because it wasn't just one of theirs fault. It was both of them. Zoro asks about why he asked him to kill him and Sanji explains his birth family and his brothers and how the suit was changing him, the modifications he thought he lacked were coming out and he doesn't want to turn into an emotionless machine like them. Zoro nods, doesn't say he won't because that won't calm his brother down, just acknowledges it and moves on and says he does need to have a word with his husband and Sanji groans and asks if it can wait, their wedding was spur of the moment and Luffy's idea, not theirs! Zoro says he doesn't care and to bring his husband to him and the glare he gets from Sanji as he leaves is hilarious. Zoro's simple threat to Ace makes Ace laugh again and nod, even if Sanji is fuming. When they leave they see the new bounties and everyone finds out Zoro and Sanji are brothers and Sanji is officially married and it wasn't a joke.

When they're teaming up with the Cross Guild and arriving to Karia Bari, Ace notices Sanji seems nervous and he doesn't get it until Sanji pulls him aside before they make landfall and says they need to talk because he and Zoro are probably going to be in trouble and by extension that means Ace is in trouble. Ace is confused until he hears that Dracule Mihawk is their dad and was the one to raise them and that shuts Ace's brain down. He is staring at his husband in confusion, not hurt because he gets it, but like how did they hide it? How was it not more obvious? Sanji points out they were adopted and he worked on the Baratie for years so it's not like it was well known, or known at all really. Ace just leans on his husband says he doesn't want to die in a whiny tone and Sanji rubs his back and says they'll avoid it if they can. Thoughts on Cola?

I LOVE HER TO DEATH. I ADORE HER. MY BELOVED. AUGGHGGHHHGJKDLGHDFJKGHD

Cola straight up one of my favorite characters and I just . I love her so much and above that I fucking adore the relationships she has with other characters ESPECIALLY I've yapped about this before a little I love the sibling like relationship she has with Seven and like. In a show that is inherently a tragedy, where every character is fighting some kind of battle, she refuses to let her life be a tragedy. And I love that. She's this parallel to Seven in this way that yes, she is practically more doomed to die than she is, but that does not mean she is going to die miserable.

And I mean in a show that has such a big theme of protecting others and loving and the bonds between people she is this perfect focus on what it means to, by extension of loving others, love yourself. And I mean, cancer is a very common devastating plot point - I could name a million medias where somehow or some way, cancer is this massive catalyst for ruining a life or making everything fall apart. And Cola refuses to let that define her life, like in a show that is so built around tragedy this inevitable, unavoidable tragedy does not define her or her character and it's WONDERFUL. She is so equally and perfectly naive about other things but wise about her own life and she wants to do and she's barely fourteen years old.

And her constant want to continue exploring herself while she can and live the most of her time left is just so. Chefs kiss. I really hope we hear more about her mom and her origins soon because I just I love her so much. She's so perfect and I adore how like - she said when she had been introduced that yes, this cancer is awful, but she cannot stand lying in a bed withering away all alone, and she will live her last moments the best she can, and this is a belief she sticks to so beautifully - several characters do their best to get her help, and Seven's care to bring her to a doctor who would not keep her bedridden but would let her continue living her life and slow down the progression of her cancer is one whole thing, and the way the Prince of Stan outwardly says to her that her only chance of beating cancer is staying in Stan and in their labs in cold beds until they cure it, and Cola adamantly still decides that she will not put herself through that, even if it will cost her her life. And that's so good for establishing and sticking to her character! I feel like it would be so easy to mess things up and go "yeah, sure, she'll stay until it's cured" because it sounds like such a no-brainer opportunity but that's not what it is for Cola. I mean, as someone who's never had cancer, or even been in the hospital for a long period of time, it sounds like such an easy deal, so obvious to go with, "yes, of course i'll let you use the highest chances you have of curing it," but Cola is written and acts as someone who actually does have cancer and with the perspective of somebody who truly has suffered through it - and only at the age of fourteen.

She's such a perfect balancing act of all the things the show has established about her and they get her right every single time and I adore her. I love the inherent, mundane slice of life she brings into the show and the moments between her and other characters. I mean, she stands to show that yes, a mundane, quiet life is better and what Seven had wanted - but that alone is not without tragedy, but that does not mean it is not worth living every single day. And she's written like a real person, and I adore her interactions with Seven because they feel genuine and real. Both the pictures we see of them together and the moments we see don't feel like somebody writing a scene of two people hanging out, they feel like actual, real moments in their lives because they glorify the mundane through Seven's eyes and very often when they're together they're doing silly, nonsensical bullshit or bickering, and I just. Like I can't even put it into words. The way that when Cola is on screen, when she's hanging out and enjoying her life with people she loves, it feels so real and beautifully written I just. I love her so mcuh I need to talk about her more she's my scrungkhly

Here’s the thing, in season one of The Uncanny Counter, I kept getting SO UPSET that they were trying to shove the whole “so mun and do hana” romance down my throat when the found family of it all meant they were ripe for the loving/bickering siblings relationship. And I knew they would have the chemistry for it.

And my prayers were answered in season 2 because they are almost EXPLICITLY sibling energy here in the best way. Their sibling chemistry is just *chef’s kiss*, but then the narrative threw a love interest at Hana that literally has zero personality or chemistry with Hana as a character. Like, the most one dimensional character ever. And it’s now making me think “damn, So Mun and HaNa would be a better romantic pairing than THAT!” They at least have better history and story and motivation for their feelings as opposed to simply relying on romantic music and camera framing to give substance to the believability.

When I first watched Turn back in 2020, I didn't ship Ben with anyone -- my ships mostly came through fic experimentation and RP, so my favorites in that regard tend to be Ben/Peggy (the dramatic potential alone is *chef's kiss*), the found family aspect of Ben/Mary with Thomas as a surrogate son, and my always favorite bickering dynamic, Ben/Anna.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING? Pretty much anything! The only thing I won't write is r.ape as a plot point. Don't ask me to do it, 'cause it ain't happenin'. In regards to tropes, enemies to lovers is my absolute favorite, so I wish there were more loyalist characters out there to throw at Ben.

The Warriors of Kyoshi re watch takeaways :)

I honestly forgot how funny the bickering between Katara & Sokka can be. It’s easy to mess up sibling bickering & banter but the show perfectly walks the line between realistic & relatable & just plain funny. Katara throwing Sokka’s pants at his face when he starts spewing sexist crap about girls & sewing was so funny

Suki!!! 😃 I loved the Kyoshi Warriors introduction. Pretty brutal that they were ready to throw the guys to the unagi but also based. Anyway it makes sense. How else can they stay out of the war other than taking a hard stance on outsiders? Also, I remember my family dying laughing at the Avatar fanboy with a frothing mouth & I still find him hilarious

Zuko telling Iroh he knows to keep a level head & can handle bad news & blowing up making the candles go wacko when Iroh says there’s no news of the Avatar is another moment that always cracks me up 😂

Okay Aang was super annoying in this episode not gonna lie. Katara literally got forced into the role of mother of the group, the only one who cared about food or planning while Aang showed off for his fan girls & tried increasingly obnoxious ways to impress her without actually just being helpful. And the move where he put himself in danger to manipulate her? And only apologized when he got his way & she was paying attention to him? Ugh

Suki & Sokka’s dynamic is so fun. Suki was so clearly flirting with Sokka even while she got him to humiliate himself (calling him a strong warrior & getting him to attack her knowing she could take him down no problem). Also Sokka saying he would he honored if Suki showed him some moves & the two of them sparring together *chef’s kiss* 💖💖💖 Plus Sokka got to unlearn misogyny. That would’ve gone from sorta funny to annoying fast.

Seeing the burning wreckage of the Kyoshi village is pretty sad. And I’m sorry but Aang isn’t… wrong to blame himself? Zuko gets a lot of hate for this from fandom but my issue with that is…. No duh? He’s the villain at this point in the story he’s going to act villainously I’m not sure what else to say about it. Aang should’ve listened to Katara telling him they couldn’t stay there long though. He let himself get carried away by the praise he was receiving & it led to the village being attacked by the Fire Nation, something they had so far avoided 😔

I really loved the end between Sokka & Suki when he apologizes for treating her like a warrior when he should’ve treated her like a girl. “I am a warrior, but I’m also a girl” is such a good line. This episode said Sukka rights 💖 I would’ve loved if Suki could’ve joined the gaang in this episode. Maybe the live action show will give us Suki joining early? That’d be neat.

They are truly such well rounded guys! I’m honestly impressed. At this point getting into a new group, unfortunately, I expect to find a whole pile of past problems either with the group or the company; it’s become less “no problems” and more “no recent problems” and “how did they handle the problems. These guys have genuinely the fewest red flags I’ve ever seen in a group that’s been around longer than a year or so. 😂 - it’s so refreshing.

I have heard the group ‘destiny’ connections! My friend that got me into them gave me a whole rundown about how each member was linked up with another member prior to debut, it was wild. We hear a lot of groups saying like oh, it’s fate, etc - but I don’t think I’ve EVER heard a pre-debut story that really is linked in such a deep way. That’s so cool though, like - I don’t know how much I believe in fate or karma or all of that; I think I do to some degree, but stuff like this really sorta makes me believe it even more. My friend joked that their fandom was destiny as well; we find them/they find us at the fated right time too, which I thought was a super sweet way of looking at it - added to the literal “destiny” in the fandom name 😭- and makes me feel less mad at myself for missing out for so long, because I found then when I was supposed to and when they’d be the most fulfilling in my life, so that’s okay too, it was destiny.

I have watched that Idol Radio bit! That was one of the first things I saw regarding Woosan actually; because I was curious how they fought. Some of my tom and jerry types, they’re chaotic but they can get a little nasty with each other when they fight - so I was curious how these two handled it - and it was genuinely the sweetest thing V_V — the awkward silence that even Jongho noticed, the gentle attempts at reconciliation that went unnoticed, and the final just giving in and hugging during the song (also the on-point choice of song, are we kidding lol) — that was so damn sweet, you can just SEE the relief in their shoulders when they hugged.

🤣 It’s true though - I wouldn’t have given Wooyoung a second glance if he hadn’t been attached to San’s hip at every single turn. I actually assumed I’d bias San and Yeo; bc I know San is v soft on him too, but apparently I wasn’t allowed to choose my second… He’s my main bias wrecker tho - I always need a wrecker that’s an unfortunate (tho sometimes willing) tug of war toy between my two biases and he fits the bill better than any third I’ve ever had - omfg the Christmas vlive when Woo was complaining about Yeo not talking to him and the members were like but you ignored him first with San!! - the way I melted, esp when Woo was so O.O I DID?! and his tight hug - he’s so caring and I genuinely can’t picture a mean thing from that guy.

CHILLS) - but anyways, they need to do drama roles too!

Oh my fucking god the kids content has been ABSOLUTELY SLAUGHTERING ME. A rule - my biases at the very least need to be amazing with kids and cats. And oh my God this group is just amazing. I’ve watched the Baby Cloud thing three times since it came out and every time I am in tears by the end from just how cute it is. How the hell, this is a group of early 20-something chaotic guys, they have no right to be this damn gentle and perfect with kids, they know exactly what to do and how to handle them. And even when they’re a bit awkward they still work past it super fast to make sure the kid is comfortable and not scared. Literally a group of walking green flags, the whole lot of them. Save some green flags for the rest of k-pop, huh? San’s genuine near tears little smile with the twins he and Woo were watching V_V - Truly - gonna be the best parents ever. Wooyoung was so fond of Jaiden during the Copy/Paste V_V and they were so sweet to the one little girl who seemed super nervous, Lina? I think? She was so scared and they tried so hard to make her feel at ease. (Also can I just point out how easily kids seem to gravitate to Woo? The stylists this comeback have been absolutely killing it. I need to say that I like the series version of Kinn way more than the one from the book, he acts less like a spoiled brat and more like the mafia son that needs to take care of his family and its business since his siblings aren't able to...

There's a maturity to Kinn, even when he's taunting Porsche in the series it still way less oppressive/humiliating like in the book and more like exasperation bc he can't understand why his father wants the other man around.

And even with all their bickering both seemed to become a little bit more understanding of each other and begin to build a middle ground by the end of episode 2 (I think they are going with a frenemy kind of relationship for now rather than a straight-up "I hate you mf")

Also, there are a lot of changes in the series compared to the book, but I think it's better this way since the series writers took out some problematic things/behaviors and made the story more realistic + better in this sense. (The actors and directors talked about it before but I was a little skeptical at the time lol)

One more thing, I LOVED that they changed the reason why Kinn slapped Porsche and didn't make him the main reason why the other man's life is a living hell in the mansion, but instead went with just making Porsche have a hard time adapting to his new life + all the bodyguard's system and also that they took some time to build Porsche's relationship with his coworkers and especially Pete is just *chef kiss*

Marc liked winning. Actually, Marc was used to winning. Having spent so much time with Steven he had the physical but also strategical advantage and he was never one to shy away from using them to get whatever he wanted or to prove his superiority.

Steven was used to this but still tried to assert himself the way he could. In fact, even if he looked very insecure, Steven knew how smart he was and liked bragging about it. He both loved seeking Marc’s approval and correcting him all the time, especially in front of Layla and, for obvious reasons, Marc hated when this occurred.

So it wasn’t unusual to see the two of them bickering, but in the end they knew Marc would be the winner since, even if he was wrong, all it took was a pinch on Steven’s sides to make him squeal and admit defeat.

That was until Jake entered the picture.

To be honest nobody was used to this new dynamic; the three of them were still a bit unfamiliar with each other and Jake was visibly uncomfortable with sentimental talks and communication in general. But they were starting to loose a bit, and very soon they all realised how stubborn and proud the man was, even more than Marc, but for some reason he decided to use this to help Steven, rather than joining forces with Marc.

Steven soon found out that there could be something more satisfying than seeing Marc struggling in front of Layla, and that was seeing him embarrassed in front of Jake.

He really felt like the youngest sibling of the three. And, Gods, he knew how to play his role.

«Marc I have no clue what you’re talking about.» he faked innocence, hiding his grin by turning around the dining table, walking towards the couch.

He actually knew what he had done. He told Marc a bunch of incorrect facts about a book he promised Layla he would read, but didn’t. Layla let him speak all the way through barely hiding her amusement until Marc started talking about aliens and she burst out laughing so loud that the entire restaurant stopped talking. Marc was so embarrassed that blush could still be seen on his cheeks when he came back home.

«You fucking know what you did man.» he knew that Steven was just having some fun and no harm was really done, but he still made him look bad in front of Layla and that was something he couldn’t stand, and so Steven needed to be taught a lesson.

«If you really wanted your facts straight than you should have read the book.» grinned him matter of factly, sitting on the couch and crossing his feet on the coffee table.

«You little shit.» when Steven opened his eyes Marc was standing right in front of him, a murderous expression on his face. «You better run man, ‘cause when I catch you you’re gonna pay for this.»

Steven was already on his feet when a low voice startled both of them.

«I don’t think so.» Jake materialised from the hall, staring Marc with a straight face.

«This doesn’t concern you, this is between me and Steven.»

«You are wrong.» when Marc turned Jake was much closer than before, standing just a few inches away from him. He winced, not expecting the proximity.

«He made me look like an idiot in front of Layla, and he was full aware of that.» facing Steven he could now see his satisfied smile.

«From what I hear.» he circled the man, watching him like a hunter would if they were standing in front of their prey. Marc suddenly felt nervous, as his heart pounded a bit faster in his chest. «You’re the one who messed up. If Steven outsmarted you, that’s your fault.»

«Ah! You hear him Marc? I outsmarted you! How does it feel to be outsmarted?» Steven gloated, thrilled with the way things were going. Jake glanced at him reproachfully.

«Don’t push it.»

«Sorry.»

«He didn’t outsmart me. He just enjoys it when Layla makes fun of me.»

Steven widely grinned, hiding behind Jake while a small giggle left his mouth.

Marc tensed. «That’s it! I’m gonna kill you.» but before he could attack, Jake tackled him on the floor, face on the carpet and hands trapped under his knees. From what he could see Steven was beaming with amusement.

«Now now.» Marc squirmed, starting to realise what was going to happen «Is that how we talk to Steven?» said man crouched in front of them and tilted his head.

«Is it?» he asked with his innocent accent that was making Marc boil with anger.

«The instant you let me go you’re a dead man.» Jake grinned at the threat, his idea of going “easy” - as easy as he could go with someone - fading in front of his face.

«I’d like to see you try» he positioned his hands on Marc’s ribs, causing him to jump, and leaned next to his ear. His whispering words made the man shiver «Are you going to apologise?»

Marc pondered his choice but, as previously said, he wasn’t used to lose a fight, so instead of backing off he spitted: «Fuck off.»

«Mejor así.»

And Jake attacked.

Marc was tough, it wasn’t as easy as Steven to break, you really had to work your way to extort laughter out of him. But Jake loved a challenge. This wasn’t the first time he tickled Marc, but it usually were just the two of them in a weird and not well defined moment between midnight and the sunrise. A secret moment of bonding where words - something so hard for both of them - felt useless and the two of them sat silently together. But when words did occur, they poured out of their mouth as quickly as alcohol poured in. That’s when tickling would happen, usually as a form of relaxation after realising how much they had shared and wanted to lose tension. Or to be more precise, when Jake could see Marc uncomfortable and did not know any other way to distract him.

Marc’s ribs were very ticklish, they were one of his worst spots and Jake was full aware of that, that’s why they were his first target.

He pinched every rib from the bottom to the top, feeling the muscles tremble under his skin as a grin graced the man’s lips. But Marc was stubborn and he would probably pass out rather than start laughing.

Unless.

«Steven. Tease him.»

Steven blushed at the straightforward question. He knew that Jake did not like to go around and asked exactly what he wanted, but still he didn’t expect it.

«What?»

«You want him to apologise? You have to break him. You want to break him? Tease him.»

«Man what t- the fu-» he gasped as Jake pressed his highest rib, squeezing his eyes and focusing all his attention on his self control.

Steven grinned, accepting Jake’s assignment.

«You don’t look so tough now Mark uh? You’re looking pretty tickled pink» Jake rolled his eyes at the terrible pun and massaged Marc’s top ribs more fiercely now, sure that he would break soon. They all knew that he couldn’t handle Steven’s teases, since they were much more wholesome than Jake could ever think of.

Marc’s smile trembled. He wanted to tell Steven how stupid it was, but he was sure laughter would pour out of his mouth as soon as he opened it so opted for a stern look.

«Oh do not look at me like that. You liked it. Juuuust as much as you like all of this.»

«S-shuh-» he gasped feeling Jake’s hands on his lowest ribs now.

«What do you mean Steve?»

«What I mean is» Steven giggled and sat cross legger in front of Marc’s head, fluttering his fingers on his ears, making him finally break in a fit of loud and boisterous laughter «that Marc enjoys all this love and attention he’s receiving.»

«SHUHUHUT UHUHUHUP DOHOHOHOHONT SAAHHAHAHAHY IHIHIHIHIHIT»

Jake grinned. Now that Marc was laughing he could be a little gentler, so not to get him tired right away and torment him longer.

He readjusted his position on Marc and raised his arms, asking Steven to keep them still.

«I’d like to hear more about this.»

«Nohohoho yohohohu dohohohon’t I sweehehehahahahr Stehehehveehehehn» but Steven was safe - for now - and loved embarrass him.

«Marc loooves when being tickled. Aww look at you soo blushy and cutey.» he cooed strengthening his hold on Marc’s wrists when he felt him struggle more.

«Nohohot trueheheeh»

Jake stared at his victim, analysing his next move. Than he put his hands on Marc’s forearms, happy he was wearing a t-shirt so his skin was very well exposed.

He let his nails scratch the tender skin of his arms, travelling slowly towards his underarms.

Marc exploded in a fit of giggles, drumming his feet on the floor, the sensation of helplessness making him going crazy. Tingles ran across his arms making him shiver.

When Jake reached his elbows he squealed «OHOHOHOH MYHYHYYY GOHOHOHOD» he hiccuped squeezing his eyes. The worst part was that he really was loving this. He wasn’t even trying hard to escape, he was just letting the feeling of Jake’s finger sink in his skin. He knew that soon he would reach his underarms and he could already feel him there.

«Ohoho my Gohohod Marc are you okay?» Steven checked him with a loving expression on his face.

«You look like a red balloon ready to pop.»

«SUHUHUUUT UHUHUHUHUP» he yelled in embarrassment.

Jake sighed at Marc’s bad behaviour and decided to hit his worst spot right away, bored by the building up.

When his fingers touched Marc’s underarms he screamed, startling Steven who lost his grip. It took Marc a minute to realise he could lower his arms, but when he tried to, Steven’s hands were again on his wrists, now struggling to keep him still.

«LEHEHEHEHEHEHT MEHEHEHEHEH GOHOHOHO» he snorted and pulled his hands again, making Steven huff.

«Stop moving so much we’re truing to tickle you here.» Marc bursted out laughing again, stronger, squirming under them both.

Jake got an idea. He gestured at Steven to let him go and gave him more space to move.

Marc immediately curled up in a fetal position giggling and hiding himself, gasping air very similarly to Gus in his fish tank.

«Now, you can choose to apologise to Steven. Or we can keep going. The choice is on you.»

Jake despite what it might look like was a very calm person, almost meticulous in everything he did. He had strategies forming in his head every second of his life and knew his opponent’s weaknesses. And Marc was a proud man.

«Nehehehvehehehehr.» a proud man who was actually enjoying this. He made a note in his head to use this newfound information.

«Well Marc, than I think you’re leaving us no choice other than continue tickling you.» he grabbed his sides and, while squeezing them, he made Marc sit between his legs.

«Nohoho»

«Aww, but you like it so much!» Marc tried launching himself towards Steven, but was quickly stopped by Jakes hands that travelled from his sides to his underarms.

«Please behave. You don’t want to know what happens if you don’t.» even Steven shivered at his words.

«Now, Steven could you please have the honour?»

Marc shook his head and tried curling himself, but Steven sat on his legs, exposing his upper body in a very vulnerable way. Jake caught his hands and held them behind Marc’s back, making him completely helpless.

«Stehehevehehehn. Dohohont dohohoho thihis.» Steven tilted his head and grinned.

«You could have read that stupid book.» and he scribbled his fingers on his belly, making Marc giggle so softly that even Jake’s heart melted a bit.

Only a bit though. He still had a mission. «Steven you have to do more than that if you want him to learn his lesson.»

Steven thought about it and then he lit up, making Marc nervous. «I know what to do!»

He grinned and pulled Marc’s body a little closer, so that he was leaning a bit and his belly was stretched. His t-shirt rose up a bit and Marc realised what was about to happen.

«DON’T YOU FUCKING DARE STEVEN IHIHIHIHIHIHI-» Jake scribbled his ribs with one hand.

«Steven show me please.»

Steven exposed Marc’s stomach removing the fabric from his skin and grinned. «You alway do this to me. I wonder how it will work against you.»

And he blew a raspberry on his navel, making Marc laugh again, loud and freely. The feeling so strong he was loosing his breath.

After a couple of raspberries Jake could feel Marc ‘s laughter tired, but he knew he needed just something else to finally make him admit defeat.

«You know what Steven? I think Marc does this to you because your belly is very ticklish.» Steven blushed and squirmed a bit in his place.

«But I think Marc is more ticklish somewhere else.»

«Nohohoho guhuhuys.» he chuckled low, his voice a bit hoarse by all the laughing.

«I’m gonna take it from here.» he raised one of Marc’s hands, letting go of the other: he knew Marc couldn’t escape him anyway. He then made him lean a bit more on one side, exposing the other.

While raising his shirt to expose his ribs Marc started shouting incoherent words between fits of laughter.

«NONONO IHIHI- LEHEHET MEHEHE GOHO.»

«Are you apologising?» Marc only stared at him. Jake could see his eyes watery and shining. He guessed this would be the moment he’d apologise, but Steven was right, this was something he liked and enjoyed.

Well better give him what he wanted then.

«Okay»

Steven screamed under his hold, as he blew a massive raspberry on his ribs, right on his highest one, very close to his underarm. He squirmed and tried to push him away with his other arm but he could not escape. So he threw his head back and let a steam of tired and happy laugh leave his body.

Jake blew another one and then nibbled at the place - something he had never done but soon realised he was very good at since Marc started snorting. And not just once. Every few seconds a snort would escape Marc’s control making him blush even harder.

Marc lost all his strength and collapsed on Jake’s body, letting himself be tickled without trying to stop it. Jake soon realised that he was finally exhausted and retreated, leaving only one hand on his exposed side. The touch made Marc jerk.

«Are you sorry?»

Marc nodded «Yehehehes» he whispered between giggles.

«Now tell us who the winner of this argument is.»

«Yohoh-youhu, yohou ahahareheh thehe winnehehr.»

«Wrong answer. I wasn’t part of your argument amigo.» he scribbled on the exposed underarm and Marc was now sure he was going mad. He snorted again.

«WhahahAHAHAHAT.»

«He’s talking about me mate.» Steven sweetly said, a bit concernedabout Marc’s state as Jake’s fingers scratched at his armpit without relenting.

«OHOHOHMYHY GOHOAHAHAD PLEHEHEHAHAHAHSEHEHE IM SOHOHORRYHYHYHY STEHEHEHEEHEVEHEHEHEN YOHOHOHU WHEHEHEHRHEHEHE RIGHT YOHOHOUHUHU WIHIHIHIN JUHUHUHUST STOHOHOPSTOHOHP.»

Jake grinned and let Marc go. The man curled up again and wheezed, trying to shake away the feeling, so overwhelmed that when Steven caressed his head he squealed.

«Mate that was brutal.»

Jake raised his eyebrows «You think so?»

Steven decided that it was better to shut up and to take care of Marc, whose condition were very poor.

«Ihihihim nehehehev ahahaskihihihing yohohou ahahanything ahahagahahaihin.»

Both Jake and Steven laughed at that.

«Next time read.» Steven declared chortling.

«And don’t be a sore loser.» Jake intimidatingly said, wiggling his fingers in the air.

Marc could not stop giggling for the next fifteen minutes.
