Guys I don’t think my anxiety ever went away I think that it just moved itself and got worse.
#uh oh#when the social anxiety morphes from social to regular anxiety 💀#to be fair#I was diagnosed w generalized anxiety but we always focused on the social aspects in therapy#miss Brooke was really a gem she helped me realize that yeah not everyone is talking about you#she told me “this is going to sound harsh but it works. you are not important enough to consume everyone else’s thoughts#‘‘not everything is about you. nobody is spending the time and energy being your friend and then secretly hating everything you do’’#are she was RIGHT!!!!!#I still have so many social anxiety issues but I’ve improved drastically#genuinely life changing. it’s very grounding it really does help#except w my dad usually he is upset at me abt something#but sometimes he isn’t and that’s nice#I have a coil of anxious horrible buzzing anxiety in my chest when I get home usually#and when everything is cool and everyone is nice to me and glad I’m home#I just deflate but in a good way!#I can feel the anxiety melting away and it’s great I’m able to actually relax a bit#makes me happy when that happens#like today!#everyone was happy to see me :)#shock and awe fr fr

filipina miku!! my mom helped me with her outfit ^_^
#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH#i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing#this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only#know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that#make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3#the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design#so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery#i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess#my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty#originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY#but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw#my art#myart#hatsune miku#miku worldwide#philippines#vocaloid#miku

So I got into dungeon meshi and i’ve been telling everyone who I talk to. I love everything about the world, characters, the art, etc.
BUT
People are not kidding when they say that senshi will manifest in your head to tell you to eat better. Like I have a hard time remembering to eat but my brain would be like “you haven’t eaten in some hours, you need a meal” and I would be like you’re very right internal senshi I’m gonna see what I can make. Then I make food??? Honestly Gods sent senshi for helping so many people eat better

Really says something about the dire state of offerings for men interested in sewing their own clothes that even searching things like "interesting men's clothing patterns" brings up articles with links to four or five whole websites that primarily offer admittedly nice but practically identical patterns for making button-ups and work pants and maybe a varsity/bomber jacket if you're lucky.
(Branching out into historical costuming for everyday wear is like your one shot at variation, and even then, the ratio of men's to women's patterns on every website is frustrating to say the least.)
Patternmakers as a trans man I am begging you. Give me a little more to work with here.
