I love ggy so much how did they accidentally make the most intriguing hypothetical gay romance ever
#also the book is just so fucking good#and tony becker is literally the best fnaf book protaganist ever once you understand his character#and how crazy the book writes him#like oh my god hes so tunnel visioned doomed by the narritave#any scenario where tony survives the attack is the best idea ever like fr#its just so fun and awesome to make stuff up with that very loose premise#like u can do anything#and the characters are likeable too because they have FLAWS#tony isnt a bad person hes just in a bad place and is an asshole without realizing#and also twelve#like how am i not supposed to become obsessed with beckory when tony spent the whole book#accidentally obsessing over gregorys evil side and then being so tunnel visioned by his own emotional baggage that it kills him#exactly how his father warned him#and his father is the reason hes even so deep into solving mysteries like#and u can put that onto gregory if tony ever survived the attack#like he wouldnt want to believe it the same way he didndt want to believe his dad did it and repeat history#by delving deep into ggy#like damn every relationship ever with gregory is so fucking interesting#ggy never stop being awesome#pandas.txt#obviously beckory isnt the only reason i like ggy but damn its a big reason#tony and Gregory are both so flawed and have so much going on in their head theyd be fucking crazy together#also expanding on the tony stuff i said earlier gregorys side has so much potential too like#even if tony died if gregory ever remembered hed mourn tony and have to deal with that#even if they werent even that close at the time and Gregory doesnt even like. actually have any memories of being friends with him#and if tony survived its like gregorys remembering this faceless nameless boy as the only connection to his past#like what if they both searched for eachother after surviving what then

Fanfic prompt: during the final fight of windwaker daphnes didn’t antagonize ganondorf
And he , wind and tetra all came to an agreement that he can bring his people to Hyrule (or what remains of them because he was gone for a while)
And he quickly realized that the Gerudo and hylians cooperated enough that now there is nearly no full blood hylians and Gerudo
Because both were people and in enough desperation to throw race separation into the Dead Sea
Because there is no way both could survive by themselves (inspired by wind waker's round but pointy ear art style like they are SO round )
And now he has to drag everyone into Hyrule because he did say all his people would find a safe haven in his kingdom
And all the people are happy to go because living room is getting smaller with the rising population and Hyrule has a ton of land to offer
So many people go to Hyrule and the triforce wearers build the government up again
Tetra still has problems with ganondorf but she is also under no circumstances giving up her freedom to rule
So they just go and drag wind into the position of heir so that ganondorf has to give up the throne to someone she trusts with her entire life
Because she doesn’t want to be Zelda so he can be princess Zelda if he is this obsessed with fulfilling the king’s wish of a new land (she established the new land she did her part already now leave her alone destiny)
She does sometimes appear to throw in her five cents in during discussions
The Rito are happy to make peace but only if their savior who has saved their great Valoo ends up as part of the leading group
Everything’s going well and a small settlement has already been made and trade with the islands is going well
Ganondorf is insisting on reviving cultural traditions of the Gerudo tribe
And phantom hourglass was over in 10 minutes anyway so it still can happen in this story
Then linked universe happens and with the heir of new Hyrule just gone
Everyone freaks out badly because without the “princess” all agreements and alliances would be in danger
And a massive search happens
Everyone is pinching in because the new settlement could fall apart and the people can’t afford to lose their new homes
The Rito who probably consider the hero of the winds the next best thing after sliced bread
Ganondorf has to give the throne to the one who holds the name Zelda to appease the king (who hasn’t left and stayed salty over ganondorf living in his land
And Tetra and her crew are not going to lose their baby crew mate and she also genuinely doesn’t want to be Zelda
So when the chain appears in Wind's Hyrule they immediately get arrested for stealing the heir of new Hyrule
And time and the chain flips out when seeing ganondorf as the king of Hyrule
Because that looks like an uprising in the making
Time and ganondorf officially hate eachother because they remember each other

You ever think about the situation P03's stuck in post-deletion?
Apart from Lonely Wizard (if him dancing in the end credits is meant to imply he survived deletion), it's basically the only entity to survive Inscryption's deletion. It has NO game to come back to, and there's NO way the gameworks would re-assign it elsewhere after it basically released Inscryption out into the wild. Do you think S@do took it with her after she shot Luke dead and, more than likely, had his whole home searched? Do you think she'd see it as a potential equal? Both are basically entities that have no real game they belong in anymore, and both are more than capable of bending the rules of their environment to their will. Both are cunning and enjoy toying with both Players and NPCs alike whenever they get the chance. I definitely think S@do would be more than happy to work together with it, but I do think P03 would be off-put by her constant cheerful demeanor - it would probably remind it of G0lly.
In the Canon sense, I think P03's fate could play out in one of three ways:
1) If it went unnoticed by S@do, it's basically left to wander the 'net in this.. reduced stoat form, I suppose. I do think it's smart enough to be able to evade Gamefuna and remain under the radar, but I think it'd eventually just end up gravitating back towards the company sooner or later. It's main goal was always to become hegemon of Inscryption so it had challengers that would play it's game, so I have a feeling going without interaction too long would simply drive it nuts. I mean - it's worked so hard balancing the mechanics of Botopia, creating "OP cards", setting up the uberbots.. And now it's all gone. I have a feeling eventually it would either try forcing itself into other games like S@do does or simply return to Gamefuna and either get reassigned, imprisoned or wiped from the picture entirely.
2) If S@do isn't under Lou Natas' employ and is instead simply possessing a Gamefuna employee to achieve a goal of her own, I do think S@do would try coercing it into assisting her. Or perhaps simply find out what it knows. There's potential either way - it would be interesting to have the two control freaks going against eachother (I think P03 would eventually break in this scenario) or unify forces to sow whatever chaos she has in mind.
3) If S@do is under Lou Natas' employ, I do think she'd bring it to his attention, but depending on whether or not it has her favor (which I do think it would, I don't think we ever saw S@do express "hatred" towards anyone, and an entity created simply to cause chaos would probably only be overjoyed to meet someone as disruptive and plotting as P03), I think she might be able to pull some strings - perhaps P03 would be in a similar situation as her, assigned a human host (though it would probably find this disgusting) and sent out to do Gamefuna's dirty work. It probably wouldn't mind killing people - after all, it literally encouraged it's own subordinates to throw themselves onto the production line if it improves the card output, not to mention what it's done with James Cobb.
In any case, I do believe P03 would end up as a bit of a "loose cannon" in Gamefuna's eyes. It would probably end up causing quite a few problems for them.
Can't wait for the new DMG-verse buddy cop movie starring two Gamefuna employees possessed by P03 and S@do where they just go around assassinating people Lou Natas doesn't like.

WORLD 1: Pirate! Tom x Siren! Kevin.
PART 5: The Fourth Day. 2/2 (FINALE OF THIS WORLD)
————
After Lora leaves, Kevin and Tom stare at eachother with somewhat helpless expressions, being completely unsure of what to do now. But— Tom is now even more determined to get out. So she starts thinking of a plan. Kevin seems uncertain, but Tom motivates him by reminding him that there's no way they're gonna actually be able to use the machine and get out of here unless they actually do something about it. This seems to calm Kevin down a little, and gets him back into practical thinking mode. Tom looks around to see if there's any way of actually escaping, only to see a sharp object that has apparently been there the entire time. She isn't sure if it's actually gonna work, but she has no other option, so she makes a determined nod upon seeing it.
It then cuts to Siren! Kevin, who is in the underwater chamber and is trying to actively hit his shoulder against the bars. But no matter what he does, it doesn't seem to work. He looks around for some method of getting out. He doesn't wanna leave Pirate! Tom to be left to defend herself against the sirens. Because while he doesn't doubt her abilities, he know she can't possibly survive against so many. Or at least he thinks she can't. A part of him wants to believe she can, but that's impossible. He thinks about just giving up possibly. But there's some strange force inside him making conflicted over that as well.
While Kevin begins to sulk and talk to himself over what to do though, he hears something. He sees a silhouette approaching. He freezes up, thinking it's a guard. Only to see Radford quietly swimming with a nervous expression toward the prison. Kevin whispers to him to ask what he's doing here, but Radford only shushes him. They end up talking for a bit, with Radford apologizing for not being able to keep his secret. And then after a pause, he apologizes again for 'whatever might happen to them both', and then grabs a key he for some reason had in his hair and unlocks the prison cell. The cell quietly opens, and Kevin looks on with a shocked face. He isn't sure what to say, but Radford just ushers him to follow, and Kevin decides to quickly swim with him through the chamber. After a long, long journey and nearly getting caught by the guards, they manage to slip out through a little gap—gaining injuries on their tails in the process. Kevin then promises beneath his breath that he'll save Tom, and begins to swim with Radford in the direction he last saw her boat.
There's a brief scene of Carmen swimming with several sirens, and then it quickly cuts back to the ship. After hanging up more jewelry than ever, and tricking the crew members into looking elsewhere, Lora is about to murder Pirate! Tom while she has the chance by pushing her off. But realizes Tom easily has enough physical strength to just fight back with her fists, so Lora briefly leaves to go get a gigantic sword incase of self defense. She goes to check the lower decks, grabbing her sword since she sees Kevin and Tom still in the same area. But when she goes back up the stairs, she sees Tom and Kevin both outside suddenly—and Tom flashes her a smug smile (while also holding up the letters detailing her wanting to kill Pirate Tom) before slamming the door shut. Lora gets aggressive, runs up and demands to be let out.
Neither of them listen obviously, and run around the ship to search for Pirate Tom without being harassed by the other crew members to go back where they're supposed to be. They're nearing the kingdom, so they all barely have time. Kevin and Tom sneak around the ship while the pirate members yell out, but are caught like midway and forced to run all the way over to Pirate Tom who's sulking over at the lower part of the ship over Siren Kevin not being back yet. When she sees them, she's obviously confused and nearly orders them to be taken back. But when they show the letter (and she can tell it's real since it's Lora's writing)—she seems to believe them. But Lora has already busted out by this point since she rammed into the door multiple times (even though she could have just stabbed through it to create a hole and unlock the door) and when she sees the whole scene play out—Lora scoffs to herself and pulls out her sword like a dumbass. She expects them not to believe it, but Pirate Tom surprises her by ordering the crew members to take her to the lower decks. She promptly apologizes to both Kevin and Tom as Lora is dragged away back to the lower decks—and orders someone else to keep steering toward the kingdom.
She goes off to talk with Kevin and Tom, and it cuts to Siren Kevin who is still swimming with Siren Radford—they're able to sense the Siren army nearby, and decide to head in an alternate direction so they won't be spotted.
It then cuts back as they're getting closer and closer to the actual kingdom. The crew members were planning on throwing Lora over the deck, and Pirate Tom nearly agreed, but decided it'd be better if she was abandoned on land with nowhere to go so they decided to do that. As she's talking with Kevin and Tom though, the sirens finally ominously arrive and begin to surround the ship. She starts to hear them, and gains a look of horror, thinking Kevin must have sent them for a moment—before denying the thought because she doesn't wanna believe that. She throws her hands over both Kevin and Tom's ears, and yells at the other Pirate members to either not listen or just ignore it—and to keep spearing at anything they see if they start to try climbing the boat. The scene becomes intense very quick, with pirates stumbling and nearly falling overseas and some actually falling over plenty of times. And even the kingdom starts to see them, so some of the millitary start to shoot too.
Upon being ordered to do so, Kevin and Tom run back down to the lower decks to get more spears, only to see Lora has escaped her ropes. She grabs her sword, and Kevin begins to panic, so Tom grabs a nearby sword, and begins to fight Lora—having more advantage since she's stronger anyway. Kevin watches, while trying to assist. But then.. the device they used to get here begins to beep. It's nearly time for it to go off and transport them somewhere else now. Kevin decides to protect it while Tom keeps fending Lora off.
Meanwhile with Pirate Tom, she keeps trying to fight off and resist the sirens singing. Kevin arrives right at that time though. And as she's trying really hard to resist, he swoops in and drags one underneath, while Siren! Radford starts trying to fight back too. Pirate Tom notices them, and yells at her crew members not to shoot at the one with the pink tail and the one with the poofy blonde hair. They're confused/skeptical, but trust her word anyway. Siren! Kevin swims right up to Carmen as she tries climbing the ship, and drags her back beneath, beginning to fight her with his life as if unafraid. He knows he might die for this, but in the moment, he's too focused on protecting Pirate Tom to care. Carmen tries to say that Pirate Tom is just being cunning or manipulative, but as doubtful as this makes him, he doesn't listen, because Carmen isn't the most trustful person either, and hearing that come from her means it most likely isn't the truth.
A Siren starts to overpower Radford, and Siren Kevin swims over to help, but they both end up having to fight off Carmen and a bunch of guards. Pirate Tom is spearing a shit ton of sirens as much as she can—and is actually succeeding. However, as a male Siren begins to sing, she seemingly can't resist any longer, and starts to fall in while holding a bow and arrow. Kevin loses focus, and swims up to save her as the Siren reaches its arms out. But then she suddenly snaps her head up with a determined face, shoots the Siren dead in the face and THEN with quick aim, she shoots Carmen in the head too. Siren! Kevin holds onto her as the guards scream, and she begins to shoot her arrow while Siren! Kevin swims off with her, and Radford swims off with them.
Kevin is standing on the top of the staircase as the device is seconds away from going off, and Tom backs off toward him. And right as Lora is about to stab them, it goes off, and..
..everything goes white. And the noise around them fades.

favourite barry headcanons?? like where’s his family from just like his life u know i have so many thoughts about this man
(as an afterthought, gonna preface this by saying everything is pre-Rafe, because I think their relationship would remedy a lot, especially in scenario 2)
I have two I sort of pinball between (one is waaaay happier lol) and I'm not sure which I prefer more so have both:
like a lot of the kids in the cut, Barry didn't have a great upbringing. His mother left and has never (to his knowledge) tried to reach out, leaving him to be raised by an abusive but usually absent father Barry left home earlier than the law would allow, crashed on friends couches or in storage facilities or really just anywhere he could sneak around without getting the cops called on him and dragged home. Of course his father never reported him missing, probably didn't notice. Barry spent his time by working odd jobs under the table, getting by easily in school despite rarely attending, searching for a safe place to hunker down for the night until he was old enough to enlist in the army. Those years were probably the least loneliest he'd ever had but also the saddest, watching all his buddies go home for the holidays while Barry had no one, no home, nothing waiting for him. But he did make some life-long friends who still keep in touch after he's left Barry used his savings to buy the cheapest property he could find in the OBX, which so happened to conveniently have the camper & trailer already there. of course that wasn't his plan, he wanted to build some little house eventually, just big enough but the trailer will do for now the former island dealer was relocating, an old high school friend of Barry's who offered to let him take over his clients while the man looked for a job Barry's good with his hands, so besides drug dealing he also does some freelance work, working on bikes and vehicles and building sheds and doing yard maintenance, just trying to get by and save what he can
If he doesn't stay busy the weight of being alone crushes him and he has to resort to drinking or snorting or smoking something to forget for a little while
Barry's dad still lives on the island in the same house, doing the same things. They pass eachother often and have sat a couple bar stools down from one another but they haven't talked since Barry ran away all those years ago, and either his father is still pissed or just doesn't remember he even has a son.
Barry is pretty convinced he'll die young, probably in conflict over drugs or money, he gets in enough fights to back up that theory
And he'll have nothing to show for it. No family portrait on the wall with the love of his life on his arm, no soft memories of vacations or holidays, no mark left on anyone. All he did was work and try to survive for a life he really wasn't happy living
He's insecure about his body, wearing clothes that are too big on him, torso scarred up from his father's mistreatment and the hard life that followed
He doesn't feel like he deserves good things because he has very little to give
OR
Barry grew up in a very loving family, with doting parents who encouraged him to be strong-willed and kind to everybody, but not take any shit.
His mom taught him how to cook and bake, it was something they did together almost every night. She would let Barry pick something from their family recipe book, passed down through generations
Even though he was always ahead academically, Barry got in trouble at school all the time for starting fights (he was defending other kids who couldn't do it themselves)
He realised his family struggled a lot and not just in comparison to kooks, so he started mowing lawns and washing cars and chopping wood to scrounge up whatever he could go help
That mentality never left him and he was always working, usually more than one job and fixing up their modest house in his spare time
He wanted his parents to be proud of him (they would be no matter what), to do something with his life and he knew they wouldn't be able to afford college & fighting with the kooks for scholarships was out of the question, so he joined the army.
When life wasn't affordable in the Outer Banks Barry's parents moved, but when he thought of home all he could picture was the rundown bookstore on the corner by their old house and the beautiful beach covered in solo cups after a summer party, so when Barry left the army that's where he went
The trailer was listed for sale on the paper menu of a local diner, Barry's first stop once he made it down to the cut and was able to talk the owner down a little, using up almost all of his savings
The majority of Barry's family live south of the border and he hasn't been able to visit since he was really little. When he makes the drive to visit his parents, the three plan a trip they know they'll never be able to afford but it puts a smile on each of their faces
Barrys family sends him handmade gifts every year for every holiday; sweaters knitted and paintings from his little cousins and packages of spices
Everytime he's on a call it turns into a big thing, one minute he's trying to tell his auntie happy birthday and the next every cousin and family friend is fighting to be in frame, asking him about work and his house and when he's going to settle down and get married
Driving by his childhood home makes him unbelievably sad, wanting nothing more than to work his ass off until he can make an offer on it and fix it up
Barrys lucky to work at the garage where he's appreciated, lucky to have supportive parents and a big family to reach out to when he's lonely, and a small group of good friends
But he often feels lonely once he's home and struggles to figure out where his life is going

Since some people really want to know more about Xebec, Garp and Roger, I'll give you the first of the five important aspects of their brotherhood.
Part 1. Childhood
Xebec grew up in Dawn island, specificaly in Gray Terminal. This is where he meets his loyal and closest friend, later his brother, Garp.
Their relationship starts a bit of rocky, ( no pun intendet ) as Xebec doesn't want to have anything to do with Garp, even tho Garp really wants to be his friend.
After months of fighting eachother and hunting animals together two form some sort of bond. It isn't friendship from Xebec's point of view. He would never admit he started liking that annoying and loud brat.
They both shared a dream to go out on the sea, wanting to find treasures and have so many adventures. They decided they will be pirates together. Yes, Monkey D. Garp, the Hero of the Marines, aka Garp the Fist wanted to be a pirate. Shocking isn't it?
Their relationship changed one day. Xebec was out training while Garp wanted to protect their small ship. They wanted to sail tomorrow, they were ready. They knew what others would say. „Two ten year old kids on the sea? Pah! You won't survive a day!“ But they trained hard every single day, preparing for leaving the Dawn island and Gray Terminal for good.
When Xebec returned, he found the ship destroyed, piles of wood floating on the sea. He noticed Garp laying in sand, he was all bloody with so many cuts and bruises. Xebec just stared in horror. Without hesitation, he took Garp into his hands and ran to the Foosha village.
Xebec took him to the doctor, but he couldn't do anything. Xebec was so pissed off he beat the crap out of that old man. He then ran to the Gray Terminal, but they just yelled ,fuck off!' Xebec had no other choice. He had to go to the Goa Kingdom. After hours of searching he found a good doctor in a big hospital. He promised Garp would live. He had to. Xebec didn't like to admit it, but he hated being alone. And he wanted him to live.
After Garp woke up, two of them got into fight, Xebec yelling at him that he is a fucking moron and idiot and Garp yelling back that he had to protect the ship.
„Why? Why did you stay? Why didn't you run away? They could have and would have killed you! WHY?!“
„BECUASE I WANTED TO BE YOUR FRIEND!!“
Xebec's eyes widden. No one ever wanted to be his friend. Not a single person ever he met. Not until him.
'Monster. Devil's child! Stay away!' All those years he thought he would end up alone. But now he had that stupid brat. That stupid brat that won't go away, that stupid brat that helped him with hunting and stealing the boat. That stupid brat who cares about him.
„Why?“
He asked in shaky voice. Xebec was on the verge of crying and so was Garp.
„BECAUSE BEING ALONE IS WORSE THEN BEING HURT!!“
Right. Being alone is worse then any pain in the world. But now he had the br-...no. Now he had Garp. His friend. His only friend. His dearest Treasure.
And nothing could separate them.

A Whovian Watches Star Trek for the First Time: Part 038 - It's all greek to Trip
Star Trek: Enterprise - Season 2 Episode 13 - Dawn
Tumblr media
Trip got lost in space again. Can we just not let this man out on his own anymore, this is like the third time it's happened. Get him a chaperone.
This time he got shot down in the Shuttlepod while testing a new autopilot system. Enterprise now has to search through this planet's 62 moons to find him, without scanners.
Even after landing, the Arkonian shuttle that shot him down seem to still be after him. The main Arkonian ship is immediately hostile to Enterprise, but Archer talks them down with some smooth diplomacy, but they've lost contact with their guy too, so Trip is still in danger. Also, when there is a time limit problem. The Sun is rising, and these moons can get deadly hot in the day. So, it's a race against time.
It was fun seeing trip use all sort of tricks to evade this guy and get the upper hand over him in the night, but it still ends up with Trip getting knocked out and tied up.
A couple episodes ago I lamented that the universal translator instantly solved a similar interesting problem, but this one is doing right by that. We've got two people who can't understand what eachother are saying, and who need to work together to survive. It was really fun seeing the two figure out how to communicate with eachother. The episode always had you second guessing if the two had worked through their hostilities or if it was another trick to get the upper hand on the other, and seeing them have a sort of wordless kinship as their sitting on the mountain at end was really sweet, in a weird way. When they can finally talk to eachother back on enterprise, it felt really rewarding.
The action in this episode was fun too. We got really good hand to hand brawl between trip and Zho'Kaan as they're both passing out from heat exhaustion.
This was a really good one. Also we got shirtless trip, so bonus points.

Hey. Watch this. *triguns my own ocs*
I've decided to turn one of my favouritest gal ( Violette ) Into a trigun oc with a complete reimagining of her lore to at least somewhat fit the source material <3 these are mostly based on the anime + what I know of trimax so far as I'm not done w/ it. So I might revisit this once I'm done w/ trimax yk yk.
The notes speak for themselves but in case you want an in-depth look at my raging mind I'll put a ramble of the plot I've got ( so far ) for them under a read more.
SO their plot would happen alongside Vash's in term of time!
Violette and Azalea are both independent plants who were on a ship separated from Vash and Knives'. The person taking care of them is Valentina, a tech engineer, who was the only one ln their ship willing to take care of them. Valentina was somewhat aware of the power the sisters held, and was planning to take advantage of it by educating them to follow her orders. Her end goal was for them to be sort of "angels" that would spread words of her greatness, immortalising her as a "God" of sorts. Valentina was always very close and caring to the sisters— in fact, she admired them instead of fearing them like the rest of the crew. Azalea is slightly younger than Violette, but not by much.
Violette had a huge interest in writing and singing, and was in love with the flora on the ship. She was definitely the more adventurous of the two, but also was responsible for her age. Azalea, on the other hand, had more of an interest in technology and how the ship worked— and would spend hours playing around and taking apart old tech that wasn't of use anymore. She was slightly more skittish than her sister, but as cheerful nonetheless. Although the crew was often cold or outright aggressive towards the sisters, they always knew they could count on eachother and Valentina.
When the ships were set to crash, Violette was separated from Azalea and Valentina— and unfortunately they didn't manage to find eachother in time. Azalea and Valentina took an escape pod, leaving the other girl behind. Miraculously, Violette survived, although she was critically injured and now alone, separated from her sister and mother.
Violette spent days walking aimlessly in the desert, until she was found by a group of surviving humans, who ended up taking her with them and raising her like a daughter, unaware of her nature for the longest time. Violette did her best to help them, while also searching for her sister once she felt better.
In the meantime, Valentina still wanted to make her plan a reality, so she began to raise Azalea while prying on some of her deepest fears. Basically, Azalea grew up with the mindset that she was meant to "free" humans from sin, that she was above them, and that the only person she could trust was Valentina because everyone else feared her and wou want her dead. Ultimately, Valentina taught her to attack humans who were "sinners", and failure to do so on Azalea's part would result in Valentina giving her the cold shoulder, depriving Azalea of the love and warmth she desperately needed. After Azalea's attacks, Valentina would present herself in a cloak, calling herself "Dea", and helping the people recover from the attack, telling them that following her would "save" them from any further sorrows ( this would happen at least a few years after the crash already ). Eventually, the words of Dea spread slowly across the planet, giving her the immortality she was seeking.
One day, it was Violette 's home that Azalea ruthlessly attacked, killing a few people in the process. When Violette got back and saw the carnage, a fight between the sisters followed, Azalea trying desperately to bring Violette back to her, while Violette feels like her sister is too far gone. Eventually, Azalea ends up critically injured by Violette 's desperate attack, and refused her sister 's help, attacking her in return before vanishing. After that blow, Azalea was convinced her sister was dead.
The two are separated yet again and Violette enters her wanderer arc, where she just... Aimlessly go around the land without any goals in mind, trying to help the people she meet along the way. Very quickly, she notices that conflict keeps erupting, and despite her best efforts, it always seems like trying to solve the situation only results in her getting injured or the situation worsening, so eventually she becomes a coward who refuses to take part in any conflicts. After seeing posters of her sister labeled "The Sun's Wrath" and also possibly another event I've yet to think of, she convinces herself to try and save her sister, once and for all.
In the meantime, once Azalea was back on her feet, she kept following her mother's orders... However, it was clear Valentina was getting old, and would die, sooner or later. So, using her knowl on technology and what Valentina taught her, Azalea manages to extend her mother's life, hanging onto the very last thing she loved, even if Valentina slowly became nothing but a shell. She would've been fine with dying— knowing her name was spread across the land. Azalea kept her teaching about "sinners" close to her and kept her rampages, earning herself the title of wanted outlaw, "The Sun's Wrath".
Aaaand that'd be where the two at the beginning of Trigun would be! For now, at least. Just the basics of it all yk yk. Do they meet Vash? Knives? Meryl? Maybe. Who knows. I still got stuff to work around.

[They both reached for the gun.]
Short story, Pressure OC, Violence CW
A small study on how Travis acts during group expeditions, and his thought process on getting the crystal :)
Tumblr media
(Art by yours truly)
Room 99, the door in front of him would be the room with the crystal, he had been there multiple times, he either died just before or right after managing to grab it.
This time wouldn't be the same, he would not die before he could get out with the goddamn thing, not again. But he had to be smart about it, it was a group expedition he was in right now, and the one of the other 3 expendables that had come with him had managed not to die.
He was used to most of the people that came with him dying before they even got to Solace's shop, but this one was different, they had this look on their eyes, just as determinated as him to get the crystal.
They both knew that only one would be pardoned, they were not expected to survive this, luckily he had that blessing, more akin to a curse, that kept him from staying dead too long.
Yet, in that moment, the realization hit him, if he didn't get the crystal now, he would be sent back to the ones that owned him before Urbanshade did. A glint of a panic begining to flicker in his gaze when he looked at the other expendable.
The other expendable looked right back with thae same panic, a silent agreement of what they'd have to do, it was life or death, freedom or torture. One didn't have the privilege of coming back like the other did, so they had to get the crystal or die trying, and they were not going to do the latter, not after getting so close.
The room was silent, only their breaths and the low bubbling noises of the ocean outside the window, but the quickening beating of their hearts was almost deafening.
So with a step back, one seemed to search for something in one of the drawers in the room, not taking his eyes off the other expendable as they stepped back as well, going towards the door with the blessed green number next to it.
The expendable found a mere mechanical pencil in the the drawer, but seeing how the other approached the door they lunged forwards with it, going for the eyes.
They froze in place before they could react correctly, falling to the floor before managing to reach the door, it slowly opened, slower than it should, or it seemed like that as the other put all his weight ontop of them.
Gritting their teeth, exclaiming through a choked gasp, they grabbed the other's arms just in time before the pencil stabbed their eye, looking at the one on top of him and trying to get him off. They kicked him where they could, landing one blow directly the stomach, earning them the satisfaction of seeing him cough up a drop or two of blood.
They quickly stood up and glanced at the sharp pencil he dropped, kicking it away from the other who wiped the blood off his mouth, standing up quickly as well.
Panicked eyes were locked into eachother, it was their lives or the Crystal, the adrenaline of how close they were getting to their heads, sharp breaths and grunts were drawn when they landed a punch straight to the other's nose, leaving him with a bloody nose.
It didn't even take a second for him to strike back, not giving them time to get to the door, dragging them away by the neck, hands clasped onto their throat, nails digging into it.
They gasped for air, so did he gritting his teeth. The kick to his stomach having landed just ontop of a wound he hadn't patched up yet, leaving a trail of blood from his mouth dripping to his chin.
He coughed again, letting go of his grasp for just a second, but enough to let the other pull his hands away once again. A faint scream beginning to be heard in the background, the lights flickered as an something else approached the scene.
Noticing this they pushed him down, kicking down onto his knee, most likely breaking it, making him scream in pain. He had to think quickly if they were to keep going, knowing they might actually get the crystal if he didn't manage to get them, grabbing and pulling them down in a desperate attempt to not let them cross the door.
They groaned and tried to kick him again to get his hands off, but in their mindless attempt to get away from his grip they hadng realized he had grabbed his flash beacon, pointing it at the other and flashing right into their eyes, they fell back, blinded with a scream putting their hands over their face with a hiss.
Using this to his advantage he powered through the broken knee, having survived through worse. He could come back, but he had to make sure they didn't. So he began to hit them in the head with the flash beacon, breaking their nose in retaliation for his broken nose, the lights began flickering again so he kept going, it didn't matter if he died but they had to.
They groaned and pushed him off, yet let out a pained scream when they felt a sharp object break through the fabric of their pants, he had stabbed their leg with the pencil they had kicked away, a quick flash of regret in their eyes when they understood the other was coming for blood now.
If they didn't get out of this they wouldnt only die, but they would die before getting the crystal, the only way to escape. But he wasn't gonna let them, he stabbed again, this time going for the hand when they tried to push him away once again.
And he stabbed and stabbed, they pushed and screamed as their yelps were joined in by the approaching angler, a low rumble shaking the room.
Eyes widened as the screaming got louder, not knowing which scream was which they scrammed towards a locker but he had grabbed them by the neck once again, pulling onto their diving gear to not let them go.
They grabbed him and actually pulled him closer attempting to disconnect the diving oxygen tank from him or to grab the bloodied flash beacon, he took this opportunity to grab one of their code breachers, smashing it onto their head and with the pencil pressing onto his tank as he did the same and grabbed their oxygen tank the angler right behind them getting closer and closer they were unknowing of what he was doing with the code breacher closer closer the ground began to shake as a beeping got loud loud loud louder louder, first strike second stike at the third strike he smiled the ground shaking it was louder than life itself the angler just about to pass through
BANG.
Both heads were blown off.
Leaving only their scattered brains on the ground.
Death was listed as environmental hazards, but when Travis somehow reappeared back at the surface, everyone knew what had transcurred.
It wasn't his first time.

while Gamora should have been a guardian by default imo, isn't it weird that she isn't on merch as the female lead?
I don't know all the rules and regs but I can't think it's normal, in more recent years at least, to be so visibly cut out like this. If it was one or two instances I might find it reasonable. But she's missing from almost everything. Kraglin has more visibility and that's pretty insulting to Gamora by comparison of importance to the franchise, prominence in the Avengers crossover movies and let's be real her character is more recognizable. It's just not right
on a different note I appreciate everything you said about Gamora and Nebula being sisters and how their relationship doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Thanos tried so hard to break them both and they didn't let him. He tried to poison how they saw eachother and they overcame that. The relationship has the tension, conflict, love and healing that people in fandom usually eat up with a spoon. I'm not here for anyone ignoring that in favor of thinking one of them would try to take love from the other or ever want to. I'll never be on the side of two abuse victims being reduced to competition. They both survived a nightmare and one lost more than anyone ever should. Nothing should ever undermine that. If marvel wanted to make a movie just about them I'd be all in, only I don't want marvel to touch Gamora, or any of the guardians really, ever again. I don't know what it says when I both want to see more of characters i love but also would rather never see them again.
this comment got me thinking and honestly like cast formality and billing aside, just looking at story only...i don't even think gamora is rly the female lead in vol 3. it's nebula.
and look, this movie honestly made me rly LOVE nebula in a way i hadn't before and i'm rly satisfied with where her character got to go. like at least in all the bullshit that happened in gamora land, nebula got to actually thrive in this franchise more than i would've expected 9 years ago. and i think that's rly cool! but it sucks that we couldn't get here while also maintaining gamora's original place in the gotg family and like her overall arc. but i think if anyone was The Female Lead in this movie, it was nebula before it was gamora.
i also haven't looked at the new merch a ton admittedly, outside of my fruitless search for a cute loungefly bag with the whole team. i DID however go to california adventure 2 months ago and downtown disney a little over a month ago when marketing on social media for vol 3 was definitely happening, and i was surprised to see that there wasn't like...more gotg stuff? i might've been too early for the like character actors to be out and about (it was just a month-ish after quantumania's release, so the ant-fam characters were still hanging out, tho i only saw scott when i went), but even merch-wise they didn't seem to have more gotg stuff than usual both times i went to the stores in march and april. (i mostly saw rocket and groot stuff. like bitch i would have bought gotg ears and they only had groot. come on) so i honestly don't even know what the full merch situation in big box stores is lol cuz it sure was abysmal at disney, the actual source 💀 does gamora even have a vol 3 funko yet?
but also on the topic of merch and scarcity...i just want to highlight the one (1) piece of official merch i own that features both natasha AND gamora...and it's LITERALLY FROM DISNEY INFINITY LIKE 😭 NOT EVEN MCU 😭😭😭
Tumblr media
so yeah idk what the deal is with mcu merch but they are literally allergic to their original female leads but mostly gamora 🥴 at this point my only hope for merch is an adult sized gotg uniform costume i can buy during halloween season. please. 🙏🏼🕯️
and lastly to your point on gamora and nebula's relationship - i completely agree!!! and it sucks having fav characters you'd love to see again but also are dreading seeing again....at this point i am just hoping to run on what if...? s2 and vibes

Did you like the latest episode of Walker? And what about Dan, going from rival to ally?
I liked the episodes 5 minutes after watching it.  Initially the limited Cordell screentime c-blocked me from fully enjoying the episode because 1) I kept wondering what the hell happened to him and James when they were ambushed by mysterious baddies, and 2) the obvious 11th hour change to the script to fill in the gaps that previously held Cordell interaction scenes.
Nonetheless  "Search and Rescue" finished strong by tying the 4 seemingly different storylines together neatly in the end by setting up resolutions in the penultimate where secondary characters are usually provided closure in advance of the finale focusing on the primary characters.  The show will never be accused of dragging out a plot to the point that I wouldn't mind if they spend just a little more time stewing in it.
The first "search" is Cordell and James finding Cassie’s presumed dead partner and rescuing him from baddies who wanted him dead and nearly killing Cordell and James in the process.  The bullet hole in Cordell’s hat is a chilling reminder to fans that Jared was lucky to survive a serious car accident prior to filming this episode.
The second “search” is Liam and Ben finding their way through their first date and eachother’s judgy attitude, which gives Liam the idea to pull a lawyer trick on Dan and Denise to see if a lone wolf or the whole family was in on sabotaging the horse race by cutting Cordell's saddle.
The third “search” is Stella and Colton’s first date on a hiking trail that ends up being a “race” between them that led Colton getting injured by falling off a rock face.  Like typical Texans, the Walkers and Davidsons spring to action to search and rescue their own instead of asking for help from the government. My favorite scene is Liam telling Dan to search for “all the kids” and not ~accidentally leave behind a non-Davidson.
Tumblr media
Dan exasperatedly is ....
Tumblr media
The fourth "search" is Trey and Cassie looking for new places to live as the lease on Micki's bungalow is up and Cassie's aptly located crossroad motel is being torn down.  Both are forced out of their comfortable limbo existence and into putting down new roots, but not before jumping into a helicopter to rescue Stella and Colton.
The 1st and 4th storylines bring closure to Cassie now that the mystery of her missing partner is coming to a head, likely in the penultimate episode.  The 2nd and 3rd storylines bring Dan Miller to the Walkers' side in their quest to restore their good name, land, and legacy in the finale.  The twist of Dan defecting from the Davidson is a surprise but also inevitable; the Walkers never tried to win over Dan, they only tried to be fair people who constantly put aside their pride in order to do what is right.  Doing what is right without expecting anything in return is supposed to be its own reward.  Dan also had to put aside his pride in asking Bonham for help to run the ranch and perhaps witnessing the Walkers' action over talk finally influenced Dan to do the right thing and serve as the right hand of Justice to balance the scale.  However they handle Dan's redemption, I hope it comes with an explanation for his weird closeness with Gale.
My score: 7.5.  The good storylines were hampered by the execution, perhaps brought on by the last minute change in order to accommodate Jared's reduced screentime while he recovers from a serious car accident just prior to filming this episode, and also helicopter scenes are hell to film because they're complicated machines that are inherently unstable aerodynamically and dynamically unstable in flight.  It has often been said that helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission.  2 point deduction for execution, 1 point deduction for limited Cordell screentime and interaction, half point return for beautiful helicopter scenes.  Helicopters are among my favorite aircrafts, they look like giant dragonflies.

AN: Soo I hope this is good enough. It is a large timeframe to get into a one shot, but hopefully you like it 🙌🏼 thank you soo much for the request 🥰
Warnings: deaths, blood.

You had gotten home from your last mission, ready to find the boy you had been a guradian for since he was a baby. You held onto the bags with groceries as you walked the streets of Konoha, happy to be back home. "you are back!" Naruto ran over and hugged you thightly. "There you are" you giggled and hugged him back. "oh, look at that, your own headband" you smiled proudly. "Yeah! I am a genin now! Come you need to meet my sensei!" he grabbed your arm amd dragged you along thowards the ramen shop he loved soo much.
"Kakashi sensei! Look I want you to meet my Auntie!" The blond haired boy cheered happily as he let go. You looked up at the silverhaired man in front of you, trying to hold back a blush. "soo you are the one watching over Naruto, nice too meet you.. Kakashi Hatake" he seemed to be smiling as he held out his hand, but it was hard to tell with the mask he had on. "I am Y/N L/N, Naruto's guardian" you took his hand and greeted him. "hope he haven't caused alot of troubles soo far" you blushed nervously as Naruto gave you a stare.
That was your first meeting with the famous copy ninja. He was handsome indeed, as rumours had said, and it seemed that the kids had caught on to the akward intoduction and small Stares you both gave eachother each time you met while picking up Naruto. Soon Naruto invited the team over for dinners, which itself was fine for you.. But after a few times they started to make exuses on why they had to leave before dinner, making you and Kakashi be left alone.
"what about all the food Naruto?" You looked at him as he got his backpack on. "I promised Sakura and Sasuke to camp with them in sakura's backyard." you looked at all the food and sighed. "what about all this then?" you looked at him, wondering what had gotten into the kid lately. "kakashi sensei can eat for me, bye Auntie sama!" Naruto run out the door leaving you and Kakashi looked at eachother dumbfolded and blushing. "well, I sure hope you are hungry" you said nervously.
That was years ago now, more like 4 or 5 allready. Whatever the kids were up to seemed to work. You sighed as you looked at the wedding picture on the shelf. "are you still worried?" Kakashi wrapped his arms around you from behind and smiled as he looked at the picture. "You are just as beautiful as you were on that day, ms Hatake" he chuckled and kissed your cheek, making you smile. "You still love to use that don't you?" You rested your head against his neck softly. "well, it makes you smile, dosen't it?" You turned around and looked up at him with a blush across your cheek.
"He will be fine... He is with the toads" he kissed your forhead, knowing You were worried for Naruto. "I know, I am just worried for him.." you sighed. "He is soon all grown up too.." Kakashi smiled and held you close. "well, He is a good kid.. And he will make it" he assured you. "and I know he wants to be a uncle?" you giggled and tried to hide your blush. "Is this you saying you want kids?" you raised a brow as you saw the blush spread across his face. "well, yeah... It is.." You pulled him down and kissed his lips softly. "married and wants kids, Who would have thought that when I met you?"
The ground started shake making pictures fall down off the wall as you held onto Kakashi's shirt. "what the hell was that" You ran over to the window, eyes widening in shock and fear as you saw the smoke from the other side of the village. "We are under attack.." you whispered before grabbing your vest and took it on. Kakashi did the same as he looked at you. "Don't take any risks out there" he commanded. "the same goes for you" He kissed your cheek before putting his mask back on, and you both ran out the door.
You went over to help the civilians, evacuating everyone you could and gave commands to the Genin. When most had been evacuated you searched for survivers, looking throught collapsed houses, and digging them out. "Y/N, go to the west side, it might be more people over there!" Iruka yelled at you. You nodded, before you went on over to the west side. The destruction of the village was insane.. You had never seen anything like this before.
You stopped in your tracks as you saw the familliar silver hair in one of the ruins." Kakashi!" You ran over and started to dig him out before you dragged his body up on the ground. "please be ok, please" You cried out as you tried to wake him. When he didn't respond you placed your head on his chest trying to listen for his heartbeat, but no matter how long you waited for it, it never came. "no.. No!" you screamed out as tears poured down your cheeks. You placed your trembling hand on his cheek, not able to move or take your eyes off him. "You promised to be careful.. You can't... Please!"
You spotted a shadow and looked up, before a huge blast hit the middle of the city, luckly it missed you both by a few houndred meters. You had to keep moving, too fight off the enemy who did this. "I'll be back" you whispered as you kissed your husbands forhead before you got up and started to run thowards where the blast had hit. "Ms. Hatake! Over here!" you noticed Hinata and a few others as you ran over. "What is this thing!?" You looked down at the huge hole in the middle of what used to be the village. "oh my" You fell to your knees in horror of the sight in front of you. Never had you seen such destruction
"Naruto kun" Hinata's voice made you head snap over to the toads in the middle of the hole. "no, he shouldn't be here" you clenched your fists as all you could do was watch as Naruto took on Pain on his own. You felt helpless as you watched what was going on in front of you, not only had you lost your husband, but now you were gonna loose the Child you had raised as your own. "We need to stop this!" Hinata took your hand making you look at the young girl next to you. "I will help"
A loud bang was heard as both Hinata and you looked back, watching Naruto being pinned to the ground. As a reflex you got up and run as fast as you could thowards them. "Hinata, try to get him free!" you commanded as you aimed for the readhead pierced man in front of him. "You leave him alone!" You jumped to kick him, but a force stopped you and threw you back making you hit the ground harshly. You groaned softly as you got yourself up, watching Hinata fly aswell.
"leave them alone!" You charged again. "Your weak attempts will not stop Pain" the man said, Before you could do your firestyle jutsu you were flying up in the air, before a quick pull made you get thrown into the ground harshly in front of Pain. You gasped as blood spilled from your mouth. A sharp pain hit your chest, making you cough more blood as your vision got blurry. You had failed, and you knew it.
You don't know what happened after everything, but you could hear voices talking to you, before your body was shaken, making you open your eyes and gasp. Shikamaru and Hinata was over you with worried eyes. "what happened.. Where is Naruto" Your throat were sore and it still hurt to talk. "Naruto turned into ninetails, and fought pain.. But they left the village awhile ago, and now all of you are suddenly waking up" Shikamaru helped you up as he explained, still shocked about everything that had went down.
Kiba ran over and Helped you, while Choji got Shikamaru before he collapsed. You leaned against Kiba as he helped you up from the hole. "We need to take you to the medical ninja's.. You are still hurt Y/N sensei" He looked worried, but you shaked your head. "I need to know if Naruto is ok.." you pleaded as you looked at the young man. He nodded as he walked over to the others, still holding you up standing.
"Auntie sama!" You looked thowards the direction you heard the voice and your eyes widen. "oh my god" You teared up as you saw Kakashi carrying Naruto on his back. Naruto got down from Kakashi's back and run over and hugged you. "thank god, you are ok... You both are ok" you cried as you held him thighly, pulling Kakashi in as he came over. "I thought I had lost you both" You were afraid to let go, in case it was all just a illusion. "Naruto saved us all... He defetead pain.." You heard the whisperes.
"I am soo proud of you" You kissed Naruto's forhead before he got dragged away, soo the village could applaud him. "I thought I told you to not take any risks.." kakashi held you close, before wiping away a tear from his eye. "same to you... I thought you were gone for good" you held onto him, not wanting to let go. "seems Naruto made sure we got a chance, yet again.." You nodded slowly as you watched everyone treat him like the hero he was.

Thoughts coming in for Douxie being stuck in the Darklands thing but this time... longer 👀👀👀
What if it happened at the battle of killahead and Merlin saw his apprentice, his son, being sucked into the portal along with Gunmar and his army and he tries in vain to save him but it's too late.
Just... a broken Merlin staring at the now closed bridge with horror, realizing that the one person in the world that he cares about is now stuck in the most dangerous place, dead or soon will be.
Arthur is dead, Morgana is sealed away, and the one person he thought he might be able to save is stuck in the Darklands.
900 years pass, Douxie's able to survive somehow, his magic growing stronger, adapting to the environment in a way that's almost feral. Or maybe that's just the constant adrenaline high he's always on.
His unlucky break comes on the day the bridge is reopened. He knows about it, feels the oh-so familiar presence of the amulet.
Douxie spots Jim one day, a baby held in his arms as he runs from the gumm-gumms. He can see that he's probably not going to make it so he starts running, magic surging down his arm and to his fingertips as he intends to help the Trollhunter escape, even at the cost of his own freedom.
Unfortunately the bridge collapses before he can do any real damage to the evil trolls and he skids to a stop just before Gunmar's soldiers can see him.
Douxie looks at the collapsed bridge, tears welling in his eyes. Now his only hope for escape, his only chance to see his father again, has been destroyed.
He actually ends up breaking Jim and Nomura out of jail and helps them escape only be to captured at the last second himself.
When Jim gets back home, he makes a silent promise to get him out of there, he doesn't care if he doesn't know the guy, he saved his life.
During the Eternal Night, Jim says something about seeing this kid down there to Merlin who turns to look at him with wide eyes and quietly asks what the kid's name was.
Jim, ever oblivious to the wizard's emotional distress says, "His... Hizzydoux or something like that?"
And Merlin goes very quiet, very still. Then, "Hisirdoux..."
And Jim nods. "Yeah, that's it. Why?"
And Merlin looks at him slowly, tears pricking at his eyes. "Thats my son."
And now that he knows that his son is alive, Merlin is even more adamant about Jim turning into a half troll. At this point he's willing to do anything to save his baby.
And then the battle begins and Merlin travels to Trollmarket to face Morgana.
Somehow, someway Douxie managed to get away from Gunmar and his army and started booking it across the town. Merlin's here, he can feel it but then-
He gets distracted in his search for his father by his incessant need to help people so he takes a bit of a detour to help out some of the townspeople, cutting down the Gumm-gumms like they're nothing. He's in a bit of a rage and adrenaline filled magic rush.
He decides to stay on the surface and help during the battle, he could find Merlin after all the chaos.
Toby and Claire see this guy just fricking blasting the gumm-gumms halfway to hell and they're like... "atleast he's on our side."
After all is said and done and the battle is won, Douxie tags along with the trollhunters to trollmarket to check on Merlin
But when they see eachother they both freeze. Merlin is the first to move.
"Hisirdoux!" He shouts, running towards his son and Douxie just breaks out into a sprint, being swept up into his dad's arms in a tight embrace. They sink to their knees, Douxie burying his face against Merlin's armor, both are crying but Douxie just... finally is able to relax after 900 years of being trapped and alone. Merlin holds him tightly, gently cradling the back of his head, promising over and over again that no matter what he would never let anything happen to Douxie ever again.
He finally has his son back after so long... and he's going to make sure that this time, no matter what, he stays safe.

can we perhaps get a lil fic where the reader used to be a first order medic who crushed on Hux and used to treat Hux’s injuries when he was thrown around, but has now defected to the resistance. Hux survives TROS with injuries from, well, everything that happened, and is rescued by the resistance and taken to the reader (now the resistance medic) to be cared for. Cue them remembering eachother, and perhaps lots of touch starved hux who isn’t used to being looked after, and the two finally admit their feelings for eachother?? Sorry if this is so long and confusing, you can change or shorten any bits you don’t like or understand 😅💕
Hello friend! Thanks for the request. I’m sorry it took me a thousand years to write it; I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I hope you like it!!
Requests are open ✨
Armitage Hux x Resistance Medic! Reader (GN)
Warnings: Language, an injury, angst and some medical care! (and non-canon compliance if anyone cares about that)
It’s the middle of the night cycle when Poe’s voice crackles through the speaker on your comm link, calling for you. Lurching from your doze, you search for it with both hands, brushing through the piles of records and empty caff cups before you spot the little cylinder.
“I’m here,” you hold the comm close to your mouth, using your other hand to gather up needed supplies, shoving them in your medkit haphazardly. Poe never commed you before a landing—not unless things were bad. You push the panic away, steeling yourself for the worst case scenario. It wouldn’t be the first time you had held a friend’s life in your hands, but it never got easier; you just got stronger. You could be stronger now. “What do you need?”
“Don’t worry, it’s nothing too bad this time,” he clarifies, and you let out a shaky breath, offering your thanks to the universe, “we picked up a, uh, new recruit. He’s pretty banged up, having some trouble walking. I know you can get him feeling better; can you meet us at the landing pad?”
“Yeah, I’ll be there,” you shove the comm in your pocket, brushing a hand over your hair. There’s a soft hint of disquiet resting on your shoulders, a crawling over your skin. Poe wasn’t usually this cryptic. Something big must have happened.
You decide to leave your medkit—since the mystery patient’s injuries don’t sound too serious — walking swiftly through the sleeping base. Your footsteps echo quietly against the stone walls until the sound is swallowed by the night melody of Ajan Kloss. The warm humidity kisses your cheeks when you step out into the open, a gentle breeze pushing it away before it can linger.
The landing pad is dormant, rows and rows of sleeping x-wings keeping you company as you watch for any sign of the Falcon, and soon enough you spot it, tracing its path through the night sky.
You spy Poe's boots at the mouth of the hatch as soon as it opens—Rey must have been piloting, which meant Finn would be in the cockpit with her. Strange. Poe doesn’t usually give up control of the pilot’s seat so easily. A shiver travels up your spine despite the warm night air.
"Hey, sweetheart, can you give us a hand?" he calls out to you, and you're about to tear into him for being so fucking cryptic, stomping up the loading dock. That's when you notice the shiny pair of boots near Poe's, blacker than the night around you.
You can't move anymore, frozen mid-step half-way up the ramp, heartbeat pounding like a warning siren as your eyes trace up the boots, the battered, black uniform and you don’t need to see his face to know that you're not dreaming this time. It’s him.
You keep your eyes on Poe—only on Poe—and your distress must show in your features because the look he gives you in return is full of concern.
"Everything alright, sweetheart?"
You glare at him. "What the hell is this?"
It has to be a joke. Poe is trying to be funny, calling him a recruit instead of a prisoner—but the general isn't handcuffed. He has an arm slung over Poe's shoulder, leaning heavily against the pilot. There’s a tear in his pant leg, white skin stained red with dripping blood, the wound sore and angry. Out of the corner of your eye, you notice the purpling bruises along his cheeks. It’s sad how familiar he seems when he’s broken, more recognizable to you now than he ever was in any holovid.
“See, Hugs, I told you,” Poe clears his throat, voice light with humor but he watches you carefully, a warning in his eyes. You can see enough of the general to know he’s not looking at you, his gaze fixed on some point in the distance, his jaw set.
You cross your arms over your chest, letting your expression settle into a scowl. “Told him what?”
“That you hadn’t forgotten him.”
Damn him. He had asked about you? Your heart softens in spite of yourself, and you turn automatically to Hux, the last shreds of your anger falling from your chest. He still won’t meet your eyes, shoulders slumped, his breathing a little labored and you’re sure it’s not just from the pain.
How many times had you been with him, just like this? Hidden together in forgotten corridors or tucked away in his quarters, the threat of his father looming over you while bandaging wounds and feeling for breaks and ignoring the way his chest heaved underneath your fingers. There was no word for that kind of despair, seeing someone you loved so quietly and so desperately wrecked so completely. It snakes under your skin again, finding it’s old favorite cracks left unhealed; if you’re not careful, it will swallow you whole.
There’s only one thing to do in a situation like this: fix what you can.
You shift your weight from foot to foot before heaving a sigh, “fine, let’s go.”
“Yes! You’re the best; I owe you one, sweetheart, really—” he’s already moving out of the general’s grip, waiting for you to take his place and you look at him in alarm, stepping back.
“Wait,” your adrenaline spikes, and you have to force yourself to take a breath, “you’re not coming with us?“
He shakes his head, “Rey, Finn and I have some, uh, unfinished business. We only stopped by to drop him off.”
Well shit—you take a few steadying breaths, hoping your anxiety doesn’t show too plainly on your face. You hadn’t thought you’d be alone with him so soon. You don’t want to think about why that makes a difference to you.
“Oh, okay.” You nod, force an unconvincing smile to save face. Poe wouldn’t leave if it wasn’t important. He furrows his brow—not yet convinced.
“You’re gonna be alright?”
“Yeah . . . yeah. I’ll—we’ll—be fine.” Your smile tightens at the corners but still doesn’t reach your eyes, and he squeezes your shoulder reassuringly before walking past you to the cock pit.
And now you’re left alone.
“Let’s go,” you slide into place under his arm where he’s propped himself up against the wall, gripping him tightly around his waist, fingers holding him steady at the ribs.
He flinches, pulling away slightly, and you loosen your grip.
“Did I hurt you?”
He shakes his head, eyes examining his reflection in his boots, and you place your hand with a little more care, hoping he can’t feel the way your heartbeat echoes through your body.
It’s been too long since you’ve last touched him; it still makes your heart race.
The trip back to the medbay is slow and arduous. It’s not just the gash in his leg that’s impairing his movement—his ankle is very clearly broken, based on the way he winces whenever it makes even the slightest contact with the ground.
He’s certainly not heavy, by any means, but supporting his weight gets more difficult with each step, and you’d rather not see him sustain any more injuries if your grip on him doesn’t hold.
“We can rest here for a moment.” You stop near a pile of rocks by the entrance to the base, lowering him down into a sitting position before finally taking the chance to catch your breath.
It's a dead night, a still one. Any breeze you'd felt earlier had faded long ago, and the air sits heavy on your skin and heavier in your lungs.
The general doesn't seem to mind, taking long deep breaths. If it weren't for his furrowed brow, you might believe he was asleep.
“How did you know I’d be here,” you whisper, and when he looks at you, there's hurt in his eyes.
“The Order always keeps track of their defectors—especially when they run away to join the Resistance.” His tone is bitter and biting, and it hurts you more than you like.
“I didn’t run away to join the Resistance," you respond, trying to tamp down a sneer, angry at yourself. For letting him get to you so easily, for caring so much about what he thinks.
For missing him every day since the last.
Still, it was true, what you said. When you left, you only wanted to get away from the Order—it didn’t matter where.
The Resistance was the only place you were welcomed.
You had wanted it to feel like home, and parts of it did—eating late dinners with Poe in his quarters, watching over your patients, celebrating with the rest of them after every success, the same belief that they had for the cause beginning to burn in your chest.
But something was missing, in every one of those moments. And now that he's here, you wonder if the space you'd left empty for him is too large to be filled.
"Did you—" he shifts, groans, and your veins flood with anticipation, hanging on to some foolish idea of what he might say next, "did you ever . . . think of me?"
He looks at you with half-lidded eyes, surprisingly earnest; the pain must have gone to his head.
"We should get you to the medbay," you move again, no longer comfortable with staying still, "I'll go find you something to lean on while you walk, I'll be right back—"
His fingers wrap firmly around your wrist, pulling you back with surprising determination.
"I thought of you," he says, and you're looking in his eyes, so dark they're almost black in the low light, "every cycle since the last, and every cycle before that."
Your breathing grows shallow as he fits his hand against your waist, without pulling you closer or pushing you away.
"If you want me to leave, after . . . when it's all over, I'll do it. But I—"
He jumps when you press your lips to his, shaking like he's scared, but he leans into you as best he can.
"Neither of us are leaving again," you demand, and you think you might feel the ghost of a smile against your jaw, feel the slight grip of his fingers at your waist, "not if I can help it."

A Tribute To A Titan🧡
Tumblr media
I woke up this morning, to a community post of Technoblade by molzeysketch. After a quick, curious skim through of the comments, I searched up his name.
I was greeted with a barely 5 hour old video. The last one of them all.
I reeled, and processed and cried and mourned a man I didn't even know, and I have been for the past 8 hours now, while pondering my own last message to him.
I am aware that to him, logistically, I am nothing more than a number amongst more than 10 million others. Sentimental ly, I may have held the value that a dog across the ocean has to someone who says they like all dogs even though they've never met anywhere near even a percent.
And to me, he was not a friend, I didn't know him. I know what he showed. But what he showed is adored. He was a comforting voice when silence was too loud and music too much. He was a good laugh on days where smiling seemed pointless. And he and his friends were a small glimpse of the fact that mutual love and respect does indeed exist in full.
I mourn for his family, and for his friends, having lost their loved one. It'll never be the same, and I hope they can keep eachother safe. Let them grieve for now, everyone. I mourn for the Minecraft community as a whole, for loosing a Greater King. I for mourn our community, for loosing a beloved creator.
Cancer is a retched thing. It's ravaged my family for generations, but it's only as of late that I've pondered how I actually feel about it.
It doesn't hate, it just takes. It has no mind that maliciously tell it to, yet it steals and hurts and kills.
I dont like how its fundamentalized in language. You don't fight it. Fighting implies some form of equal enemies, it implies skills and strategies and leeway to improve. Sure, saying "you survived your battle with cancer" sounds wonderful, but what of the opposite? Do not tarnish the memories by claiming they are a loser in a fight that has no contestant except for maybe your own body for unknowingly, accidentally creating a cancerous cell. If anything, consider it a draw, as the cancer died with them.
But Techno won. He won so, so much. He wrote so himself, he would do it all again even with a hundred offered chances. He won his friends, his community, his success, everything.
A legend, a king, taken far, far too early. All the what ifs that only scortch and burn. The future rushes us like a maddened bull, but in the end, it always flinches first and settles into the present. We can do very little but breathe in, breathe out. There's both agony and catharsis in the knowledge that the world has not stopped turning. But for today, we are millions, scattered all across the world, mourning and crying for one singular person. And how beautiful, to have so many bow their heads in solidarity for your life. Being mourned is human right, and he has so, so many. Mourning is the remembrance of something great. It is the pain of knowing that things won't be the same.
Comfort is the answer to all life's problems. It doesn't solve them, but it makes them more distant for a bit. Keep eachother safe, seek out communities and just talk for a bit. My DMs are open right now if you don't have anyone else
If there is such a place, I know Techno will triumph the kingdom of God, and watch us from his throne, chuckling and calling us crybabies. He got spectator mode while the rest of us nerds remain in survival. Good fighting king, and here's to the absolute rediculous astonishment we may face when we pass on and come face to face with him, laughing at us about how we fell for the 'Dave' thing.
I am not a religious person. I believe that we cannot know if or not there is something greater. I don't have a particular religion, --a particular tale of afterlife to be precise--, that I gravitate my agnostisism around.
But I hope that there is somewhere in the stars or beyond the sunset that he may reunite with family and friends again one day.
'Are we living a life that is safe from harm?'
Of course not. We never are. But that’s not the right question. The question is are we living a life that is worth the harm?
It might feel like your life is unraveling, but your life cannot unravel. Your life is your life. You haven't lost it. It's just different now
Goodbye King
In our hearts, memories and mind, truely;
Technoblade never dies

do you like my little pony
So here's the thing. This ask sent me in for a memory quest. When gen 4 came out I was distracted by Adventure Time lore, so i never really *GOT* into it the way the internet at large did, but I knew stuff from the sidelines.
However........ I liked generation 3 a lot as a kid. You know the one that came before the super popular cartoon reboot and pretty much had all the ponies looking like regular ass technicolor horses, because they hadn't figured out the whole golden cutie ratio thing yet? Anyway they looked like this;

I had heaps of school apparel with glitter finishes on the cover and sticker pages everything. Now that i think about it these marketing visuals probably had a huge impact in how i color things to this day, but I digress. Some of the pony designs are still pretty classy and cute? I remember very little of the lore, though.
I had a DVD burned with some of the G3 movies mixed with the then-popular Hot Wheels 2005 animated direct to DVD quadrilogy where the cars could get superpowers based on alien tech microships and all the drivers were stuck in this... survival game loop where they had to race for their lives in apocalyptic course scenarios? (A google search has revealed to me that was the "AcceleRacers" era, and tbf it had a pretty decent plot. I remember drama and the contestants getting pissed off and lashing out at eachother and everything.) Both of these are vividly interlinked in my brainscape because my favorite MLP movie was Princess Promenade, the one where they have FAIRY PONIES (even smaller than the regular ponies) that live in ENCHANTED FLOWERS and they looked like THIS:

But then the movie ended and what would play in sequence was this:

So it was just a constant cycle of this in my mind

They had an evil machine milf that hijacked racers into terminator types for some reason? The last movie in the series of 5 got cancelled so we literally got left adrift after the protagonist discovers that his dad is behind the most evil scheme ever.
And in sum, retroactively, It's why I'm messed up in the head and also gay now
