Another six fanarts challenge except its only owl house characters this time bc im hyperfixated and so are my friends
Also this was my first time drawing raine (and like most of these character, raine was just the hardest for me) and im unsure if I did it right but I think they look rlly cute ngl
so im sittin here ponderin why lillith clawthorne is one of the few feminine characters in my life that I have loved And felt able to identify with and its like. fool. its because shes not created by a man And because she is one of the few female characters ive seen that isnt interested in romance OR sex canonically AND isnt seen as wounded or broken because of that fact. that is So Rare for female characters especially.
If I had a nickel for every time there was a sister duo in a piece of media I consumed where the older one did something bad to the younger one which I got mad at bc the younger one is one of my favs and a comfort character but also I can’t hate the older one bc I relate to her an unhealthy amount and kind of project onto her then I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s kinda weird it happened twice.
Fic concept: in which an increasingly sleep deprived Lillith and other members of the EC pitch new ways to capture Eda. Shenanigans ensue. There will be coffee.
(Key note his uses this ability/spell even before he meets flapjack)
But I just realized, hunter isn't the only one to use an ability like this.
Eda and Lillith use it too! You don't think about it because they lost their magic before meeting the golden guard.
So, I believe this is a spell unique to the Clawthorne/Wittibane family. It kinda makes sense that a more human adapted spell would be so simple. Caleb probably came up with it, which is why Hunter knows how to use it, even if the memory is gone, that potential is still in him.
So that's just another thing linking Hunter to the Clawthornes.
