i was laughing about this to myself last night but i think little shop of horrors would make a banger of a deku/reader au. deku as the nerdy-ass dork-ass florist who gets his nerdy-dirt hands on a weird as hell plant that ends up eating people… perfection. 😌

(altho tbh to stop the Reader-insert from being too passive you’d probably have to role reverse 😬 get Reader in there as the florist that gets ahold of their weird blood-drinking plant, and then have Deku—or Bakugou or whoever—just as their pro hero selves who then ends up having to investigate the mysterious disappearances/murders around your area… but then also i think you’d have to work harder to keep it lighthearted like that 🤔 idk. anyways. okay. 😌)

Heroes of the City (sorry, I still don't understand how article THE works) is a story in the genre of LitRPG (like literature + RPG or manhwas/novells about rankers) and it's about Players who are trying to save The Sentient (?) City from self-destruction (or help it destroy itself if a Player feels like hating the world) so the main cast is Eki (she/them) aka The Leviathan Slayer aka The Hero she smol she kind she could kill a god if this god is a threat to her found family but only if said god is a physical threat she is a beating pillow for every morally gray/black character in The City and will never win against charismatic-based villain (she's very naive and soft hearted and everybody uses it)

the hottest and the deadliest villain of The City and i have nothing else to say

“Urgh- Trust me, if Hell noticed that little display I’d already be…” Crowley stopped his feet from moving, and Aziraphale made no attempt to take more than a few steps forward, looking around nervously, then back at the demon. “I’d already be…” In the silence of Edinburgh air, cold and crisp, the floor opened up with a growl, and Crowley was sucked down beneath the surface with a sudden cry of terror. Aziraphale stared in horror and watched the hole close up, before making his way as quickly as possible back to the shop. And it was the last he saw of Crowley for a very long while.

He'd assumed laudanum would be much like alcohol. It was mostly made of alcohol, wasn't it? A strong liquor, sure, but not something that could really hurt him. He'd drunk some pretty awful rotgut in his time, stuff that would kill a mortal, and he'd never suffered more than a bad hangover after. It is not like alcohol.

Crowley shook off his hands and stepped towards Aziraphale, staring him dead in the eyes. “Not kind!” She snarled. “Off my head on laudanum. Not responsible for my actions.” Crowley needed to make it look as if she didn’t make the choice to save Elspeth. She needed it to look out of her control, she needed excuses and deniability. If anyone downstairs ever noticed what she’d done…well, it wouldn't be pretty.

Black cat au stuff 4

1. Black cat introduces himself by saying, "I'm Black Cat, but you'll soon know me as the one that got away!"

2. Joker did something to anger Danny so he decided to humiliate the clown. How you may ask? Pies. Lots and lots of pies. Hes invisible when he does it so no one actually knows its him doing it but the Joker hasn't been able to get through one monolog or do even a single dramatic entrance since all this began.

Jason is loving it.

3. Danny started visiting Arkam as Black Cat and casually chatting and befriending the people he liked. I say "visiting" but no one is really sure how he keeps getting in or out, and he doesn't obey the visiting hours policy, but he brings snacks and keeps the patients calm. It's almost like he has a comforting aura about him. Strange.

4. Danny knows Red Robin is amazing with computers but so is he. He essentially used a combo of ghost magic and coding to make a sort of digital boobie trap against anyone who tried to get into his devices/obtain his information.

Danny isn't sure how Red Robin and Oracle had done it, but they managed to set off the trap not only on thier own devices but onto every device in Gotham which was hilarious because it left Danny laugh-crying on the floor of his flower shop as the entire city of Gotham got Rick Rolled. They even got the radio towers! How???!

The scene repeated a few days later and Dannys actually impressed that they made it worse somehow as the new song he selected (The english/Metal cover of Caramelldansen) blasted now in Gotham, the Titans Tower, the Watchtower, and Mt. Justice for three whole hours before they managed to turn it off.

5. Danny loves giving the Batfam gummy worms to snack on. He even found a nice vegan brand for Damian since he's vegetarian.

6. Danny buys these dumb realistic fangs and shows them off to Nightwing and Robin saying, "Careful, I bite!"

Nightwing laughs while Robin turns an interesting shade of red. Unfortunately for him, Alley Cat noticed and upon seeing the smirk on her face he knew that she knew.

Alley proceeds to flop between taking delight in placing Robin and Black Cat in awkward crush situations and being a wingwoman.

Catwoman watches all of it through Alley and Black's cameras like a prime soap opera.

7. Might be related to 6 but Damian/Robin keeps finding new and perfectly excusable ways to hold Danny/Black Cat. Like, start up bridal style. At some point Danny got so used to Robin and Damian picking him up and will just chill in thier arms until it becomes awkward or bird boy is forced to put him down.

8. The cats are always careful to avoid anyone with a sensitivity to the supernatural after this one psychic lady started screaming in terror when she saw/sensed him.

Imagine his and Zatannas mutual horror upon meeting! Danny just blurts out he's cursed as a cover up for being a super powerful undead eldrich creature

Robin: What?!

The batfam: What?!

Zatanna: *internally screaming cause what could possibly leave a curse like that*

Danny: ...oh ancients, what have I done.

9. Dani falls in love with this show called Moster High cause the characters are "like her" and Danny is just happy she has role models until she forces him to watch it and now they sing the intro song together often. Danny is a good big brother.

10. Cass just starts randomly referring to Kitty as her brother-in-law and everyone in the Justice Leage is confused- especially when they're told its the baby of the family whos engaged.

Kitty is brought to The Watchtower for whatever reason you can come up with and Cass explains they have a prank going on where they convinced the Justice Leage that he and Robin were engaged and asked him to play along.

Kitty, being a little chaos gremlin, agreed and playfully flirted with Damian all day. It was the goodbye kiss at the end that made Robin decide he owed Cass big time.

...apparently, random old women walking up to strangers and trying to pick up their babies without permission is a common thing in the world.

Admittedly, while the regular human would tell them not to, I cannot imagine limbs being intact if any old biddy tried to pick up MK or the twins, especially if they just walked up to the stroller without a word to either parent.

Extra grossness - some old biddies stuff their unwashed hands into diapers to 'see if they need changing' without prompting...

Oh gods. I've heard horror stories from parents talking about entitled old biddies.

An old woman walks up to MK's stroller while he's asleep and tries picking him up "Just to get a look at him." despite Macaque's protests.

Macaque sees red and starts growling loudly. Wukong turns to ask what the problem is and goes full angry-monkey mode at seeing what he thinks is someone trying to take his kid (+flashbacks to all the times Tripitaka was kidnapped). This causes the parents more "kid-friendly" glamours to fail as thier fangs and claws become bared.

The old biddy screams in terror.

Baby MK yawns, revealing his own milk fangs. Toddler Mei (strapped to Wukong cus she's a runner) lets out a tiny protective dragon roar at what she thinks is an evil old witch trying to steal her baby brother.

Old biddy faints.

Cops are called.

Shadowpeach avoid that particular market for a few weeks until the heat dies down. Little Mei is absurdly proud that she "alone" scared a mean old lady like that. The rest of the co-parents wonder why all the shopkeepers at the market look terrified when they take the kids shopping.

have the horror skeletons run into the non horror versions of their Undyne/Alphys?

Horrortale Sans - Yes, and Undyne has a great memory of it as she ended with a huge scar in the back after Oak attacked her out of nowhere and stabbed her multiple times :') No one told him he could actually meet another Undyne in this world and he kinda thought his Undyne somehow came back to life and freaked out completely. Undyne forgave him, but, uh, it's best if they never see each other ever again. He's surprisingly fine with Alphys, even though he tends to have fun just scaring the hell out of her.

Horrortale Papyrus - For the longest time, Willow just looked at them from a safe distance with sad puppy eyes. Until Undyne had enough of seeing him creep in the distance and ask what the hell is his problem. Willow fleed the first time but got a little bolder the next few times, trying to make friends but awkwardly. Papyrus eventually comes to his rescue to break the ice between them by explaining his situation to Undyne once alone. The next time he sees her, Undyne is suspiciously nice to him and he's not sure what to think about it. Their relationship is getting better, but it's still not this. Nothing can really be the same as Willow still have huge trusts issues towards Undyne, even though having his old friend back is actually comforting. He can't help it.

Horrorswap Sans - He saw there's a Underswap Alphys running around with his younger version but he stays very far away from her. He even warned his younger self to not be too dependent on her because he might regret it. Blue doesn't listen, he never does, but Nugget can't help to think he's terribly wrong. He doesn't want anything to do with her.

Horrorswap Papyrus - It was a only one-time experience. Since he can't talk, some dumbass seller didn't understand what he wanted and called the cops on him saying he was threatening. Underswap Alphys showed up a few minutes later, and poor Pumpkin completely froze with shock and terror. Seeing him not react to her asking to leave the shop, she made the mistake of grabbing his arm. Pumpkin threw himself on the floor, screaming in terror and freaking out to escape her with all he had. He threw bones and blasters at her, trying to make her leave, before he ran to hide in a wardrobe, out of reach, trembling like a leaf. He refuses to leave before Blue gently comes to him, after Alphys, completely lost, calls him for back up. Blue knows Pumpkin's backstory and manages to calm him down enough to encourage him to come with him. Poor Pumpkin is going to need time to recover from this one.

Horrorfell Sans - Underfell Undyne is... Too curious for her own good lol. So yeah, meeting him randomly in the street, she couldn't help but scream "DAMN boy, what happened to your leg?" only to have Copper twitching angrily, before asking her to back off. Undyne didn't listen and got closer to poke his prosthetic leg instead, so Copper popped off his leg and used it as a baseball bat to hit her in the face and teach her boundaries. After that, Undyne holds some resentment towards him, but Copper knows how to be threatening enough to dissuade her from coming at him again.

Horrorfell Papyrus - He considered Underfell Undyne as another person. He doesn't hold resentment over her, even though he still feels wary around her sometimes. He doesn't interact much though. He can talk a bit when she asks invasive questions, but that's all. She has her own Underfell Papyrus, and he doesn't want to intrude. He moved on a long time ago already and doesn't feel the need to talk to her.
