I usually do my own hair and I’ve been blonde several times before but seeing your hair I’ve got to know your method! Do you go to a stylist or do it yourself? Either way, it looks so good and healthy even after the bleaching process! :D ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖

I’m so sorry if this is hella long.. i use a lot of exy products! I go to a stylist, I don’t trust myself to do it >3< I try not to wash my hair too often, like around 2-3x a week. This is my first time being fully blonde, idk if secret tone counts? And it was more silver when I got it done.

And my main hair products are medavita and curly shyll (my faveeee, they always smell soo good and leave my hair soft asf!).

Since I recently became blonde I had to get purple shampoo - medavita, instead of conditioner I use hair mask - curly shyll for damaged hair, I think also depends what you think your hair needs like do you want more colour protecting or hydration? I focus more so on the hydration part :3 then after the shower try towel dry as much as I can (leave on the towel while I do my skincare n other tidbits) then I put medavita- thermo hair protector (use whenever applying any heat), I just put curly shyll - hair oil after I finish blow drying. In any not wash day and I feel my hair is feeling extra damaged or dry I put hair oil. I think that’s my whole routine, also I rarely style my hair, just blow dry.

I go in more detail about my hair products in the ask below (well the main ones that I think keep my hair healthy) I’ve used a lot of hair masks but this one is by far my fave. I really think hair mask over conditioner really helps me but idk for others.

wakka’s amazing bc it’s like. here is a genuinely likeable character with a major flaw, and you don’t really see that flaw as a bad thing until like. it smacks you in the face. and i just. i couldn’t deal with it!

like is it as bad as being like ‘wow, i love anakin skywalker with my whole whole heart’ and then episode 3 happens and it’s like. your fave is a nazi now, do you still like him? no, it’s not.

but it’s such a transformation to go through to be like. i like this guy, to... i don’t like this guy.

like. wakka was dead to me for a long time bc i couldn’t deal with his anti-al bhed bias, i found it frustrating and irritating and i couldn’t handle it, so it was just easier to go ‘oh i hate wakka! i’ve always hated wakka!’

but i’d replay the game and go no i love wakka, and i’d pay better attention about how he became so devout and anti-al bhed, and then i’d be stuck in this conundrum, bc i just couldn’t get past idk. gagazet, or evrae. and then i’d played ffx2, and it’s like adorbs that he names his child vidina. which is just cherry on top.

but like looking at the bigger picture, it really is like. ah, his arc has a lot going on, and do i wish it was a smidge more focused on? yeah, but it’s -- it’s enough, i think.

As far as my first impressions on their stock art goes: Mila Berrymore/Burgundy’s got an interesting style/color-pattern going on, don't think I've seen that type of chain-linked hair accessory before :o Might need to see her in her second-outfit to know for sure if I want her though, but she's pretty promising so far! :3

Delilah Fields/Buttercup is SO cute!~ Everything from her soft yellow palette to the lil flowers/curly hair/glasses just *screams* adorb to me, I'd def be down to buy her first~ x3 (I think she's implied to have albinism as well? :o)

Jewel Ritchie/Emerald's quite pretty as well, I love how she's given vitiligo as well as a fancy glam aesthetic with her colors~ :3 Again like Mila though I miiiight need to see her in her second-outfit just to be sure if I want her, but her basic concept's still pretty cool to see in a doll! ^w^

Coco Vanderbalt/Cobalt is an interesting case 'cause a part of me *wants* to like her more, and I'm digging the shade of blue/brown eyes/kinda-sporty aesthetic they got going on with her.... buuut idk, she doesn't really "stick" out to me in terms of fave-potential? .x. Idk if its the face-shape or something but hmm, I miiight need to think a lil more about her .3.

Lila Yamamoto/Violet is also pretty adorable, esp with her purple-shade and the cute Harajuku style she's given! :3 I'd probably buy her next after Delilah if I got the chance~

Meena Fleur/Neon Orange has some elements I'm digging so far, like the shade of orange/gold accents/the henna tattoos from her earlier leaked photos (+the second outfit looks purdy~). Miiight end up being my third pick of the bunch after Delilah and Lila, perhaps? Idk, we'll see! ^^

I mean i thought so before but now he’s like “hey ya’ll I know I’m supposed to be Shoto’s evil counterpart but I wanna be Deku’s now too”. Well technically Shoto was always a foil to Midoriya. The foil of my foil is my foil. So they’re all foils to Kacchan and Tomura too. SO MANY FOILS. So little time.

This may sound weird coming from the girl who’s all about those cheekbones, but one of the reasons I love GKP so much is he seems a lil’ bit squishy. Like he’d be very satisfying to hug.

I ended up binge-watching Lost in Space the last couple of days (my Black Sails-adjacent fixation keeps extending I GUESS). I loved it. Some commentary under the cut, since it includes spoilers up till the very s2 finale.

I love the entire Robinson family to pieces, but John-Judy is where the heart of the show is at and IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. I love that he has That Special Bond with his step-daughter, out of all the kids; that Judy gets that position in the narrative; that it adds a romantic past in Maureen’s story. They utterly broke my heart in 2x05. Or in the first episodes, with the different ways John and Maureen were approaching Judy’s trauma (and I love that they gave the mother that kind of character flaw there too btw). They break my heart in general, really. And I loved when he said “I love Judy because even if she’s not biologically mine, she’s like me [...]. Actually, I wish I was more like her.” BEST. I cannot believe they’ll be separated when s3 begins... I hope the reunion happens early on D:

Judy is definitely my favourite. She’s unstoppable and proud and lovable. And I love that she gets to have touching storylines about both of her fathers, her two heroes (btw, a lot of the dynamics at play remind me of Randall in This is Us lol. Except thankfully there’s no Jack here. UO, I know xD). I hope her bio-dad is alive and she encounters him in s3 because that has so much potential.

John and Maureen are so fucking lovely. The episode where they reconciled was amazing. I loved the scene where he’s helping her put on the uniform (dressing up scenes can be so sexy...). And that “I love you too” scene (both of them, really)? I was practically rolling on the floor with laughter (but also, d’aw). BTW, if Grant Kelly is back, there’s around a 60-70% chance I might polyship some arrangement here; it’s who I am xD (and frankly, if this show is sorely lacking something, it’s queerness, lbr). I love them separately too; specially what a hardcore person Maureen is. And that scenes where John makes an speech about believing in second chances being his weakness is one of my favourites on the show.

Penny and Will are adorbs too. I love Penny’s crush on Vijay (and her parents initial tension with), the way her insecurities manifest, how headstrong she is, that she’s a writer. And unsurprisingly, I’m aaaaall over Will’s bond with Robot lol (the way I :DDDD when Robot learned to say “no” lmfaoooo).

I love Don too. He’s a really, really good example of the lovable rogue with a heart of gold done right, and all his dynamics with the Robinsons are something else. Some of my fave moments: tearing up and saying he wishes he had a father like John xD; confessing to his smuggling operation to save Penny; the “badass princess” scene with Judy; inserting himself in John & Maureen’s “I love yous” xDD... he’s awesome. And I love his bond with Debbie the Chicken xD

Really, the only main I have trouble with is June/Dr. Smith. I have loved characters of her type before, and she is a great character, writing wise; without her the show would be an entirely different beast and she has amazing scenes, especially in s2. But I. can’t. stomach her. I don’t know if it’s the whole “oh, I’m just looking out for myself” when in reality, she goes out of her way to harm other people and clearly gets a boost manipulating them; that she might be one of the few examples where you regularly see her use those vile tricks on kids, which does land different; or that she does it all under the disguise of a therapist, which again, lands different (the subplot where she purposely triggered Angela and handed her a gun was revolting). On principle I want to see her triumph at the end; I think it’d be the most interesting choice. But I know for a fact that if I was a character within the story I would’ve lost my patience with her already xD.

The show’s rhythm is insane, I couldn’t put it down once I started lol. My main beef is, like I’ve said, the lack of queer storylines. I have less and less patience for that as time goes on, if I’m honest. It’s not a romance-centered show, so I’m not asking for that, but would it be that much to ask for every secondary in a relationship for it to be a queer one once in a while (though ofc given there’s a few widows there... I don’t mind those being straight).
