Not me standing on my soapbox (again): But like I've said it once and I'll say it again, but Kaz is not the only one with trauma, and as such, should not be the only one expected to work on fixing himself for their relationship. Inej has trauma too. Like if you make Kaz talk about his past trauma, I would just as equally expect Inej to talk things that would effect their relationship. Ignoring Inej's trauma or making her the visible saint in their relationship is actually quite harmful to her narrative.

"To Heal Through the Reminder of Another Person Is to Injure Yourself Yet Again," or "Dear Little Brother,'
Aaron hates it every-time he glances at Alfred. All he sees is Vincent, so idealistic, so full of resolve and stubbornness. That stubbornness he once adored, that he once found endearing, ended up being his almost downfall. He should've kept Alfred at an arms length, to order Alfred to stay on the other side of the world to avoid becoming attached to a ticking-time bomb yet again. Alfred wasn't truly loyal to the Foundation. Not even to him. For the other man, it was a curse of collective connection to his nation, rather than individual. It was utilitarianist, the needs of a nation outweighing the needs of one singular person. Aaron understood that duty very well, but it still struck painfully as yet another ghost of Vincent. Yet something deep inside his still human psyche claws pathetically, craving some kind of connection. It sunk its sharp fangs into him, into, Alfred, and suddenly Aaron couldn't stop the other man from inching closer to him. It wasn't like he was going to get rid of Alfred any time soon. Alfred cared too much, he was too sentimental. Too caring. Too talkative. Too generous with physical touch. And Aaron selfishly missed receiving that sort of affection from Vincent.
Alfred adores Aaron, enjoying every single second with him. His sour, thunderous looks are reminiscent of Arthur, his attire just screaming quiet, intelligent, sharp wit. He knew that he'd likely outlive the other man. No matter how many times the younger man claims to be immortal, Alfred has accepted the other man's eventual passing, for he has learnt in his centuries that Aaron will eventually face the inevitable of Memento Mori. He knew he shouldn't have purposely grown close to Aaron. Semi-Immortal or not, it was dangerous to him, damaging to Aaron. Selfishly, Alfred indulged himself by showering the younger man with attention, praise, encouragement, a sticky feeling of need to smother the stoic man with an almost fatherly affection welling up inside him.

I honestly love it when stories with neurodivergent, trans, gay, etc. characters or themes are set in fictional or fictionalized Old Time Periods, before any of this terminology even came into existence.
They are not "gay" or "straight" - they are in love.
They are not "autistic" - they are weird.
They are not "trans" - they've simply changed how they represent themselves to be in line with what they are.
In a way, because these words are never present, because they are never diagnosed or feel the need to find an identity and a safe place to show it, it brings to light their undisputable existence even more. That they are normal and human. That this may bring problems and misunderstandings, and also joys and opportunities. That they are compex and diverse with their own personal traits that lead them to each particular expression of their identity, and that their needs and innate characteristics affect how they act and present themselves. It puts these people out of the "discussion box" and clearly among all the other differently weird humans.
In a way, it pushes aside this debate to scientifically or theologically rationalize trans-ness, queerness; it pushes aside this cold mechanical rationalizing of kindness towards the neurodivergent and disabled. Instead, without all this terminology, we are confronted with the simple humanity of it all.
It shouldn't honestly matter if you are confirmed to be neurodivergent - the world should be kind to weird and obsessive and awkward and forgetful and different people anyway. It shouldn't matter that there are gay frogs in nature - there are gay people in nature, and they deserve to be treated as people, inseparable from the rich interwoven tapestry of human expression and love.
All of these discussions are real and important, because they allow us to achieve real political or legislative or cultural results with real people, millions of them, each weird in their own way. But it's so nice and refreshing to see them pushed aside from time to time, to reveal the simple truths of kindness and humanity behind it all. To explore the ways of caring, learning and communicating - and, after all, isn't that what truly matters at the heart of it?

In Defense of Pharma
Guys I'm really tired of seeing ppl shit on Pharma solely for the incident with Ambulon. Seeing people defend Ratchet against him. Tired of people being awful to him because of things he couldn't control. People will really support the toxic ones because of the simple fact they are a popular character that everyone loves. I'm tired of pretending I like Ratchet (I adored TFA and G1 only). I don't. He's an awful guy when you look at the case with Pharma. And personally I just don't find him interesting like other characters. Ratchet fucking ruined Pharma pre-Delphi. He was this sweet guy who did his best and I strongly believe Pharma may have BPD, so that only makes what Ratchet did so much WORSE. The way Pharma attached to Ratchet reminds me of one with their FP (Favorite Person). He believed so much in Ratchet, looked up to him, considered him one of his closest friends, his FP if you will. He cared deeply about Ratchet, and it deeply affected him when he just up and fucking left without a proper goodbye. And so began a long fucking chain of him getting fucked over. Another point that gets used against him was the virus he unleashed, that wasn't his fucking fault. Tarn was pressuring him. He was stuck in an incredibly hard point. The DJD would after him if he didn't feed Tarn's addiction, he'd still be fucked even witht he fact he did it. Pharma gets stuck in the middle of nowhere with two people he doesn’t care for, and one of them is a direct target of the group blackmailing him into killing patients. There was nothing he could have done to make the situation better. And I fucking find it such BULLSHIT that First AId went to Ambulons side rather than Pharmas DESPITE THE FUCKING FACT Amublon is a ex-con, he could very well have been conspiring with Sonic and Boom. The fact Pharma got immediately blamed pisses me off. He was just doing his job, trying to keep his job, and juggle his issues with Ratchet appearing. His FP that fucking abandoned him. This is a STRONG example of how mental illness can fuck oneself over. As someone with BPD, I heavily relate to Pharma, so I am very defensive over this (no shit I'm writing a whole thing defending him). I understand his panic. His stress. The need to prove himself. A case too is with the incident of Ambulon. Yes, the way he handled the situation was awful, but think about it. He wanted to prove himself, to prove he was better than the asshole who left him behind. So how does he do it? Give a prompt to Ratchet that he KNOWS he can't fix, prove that Ratchet is not as good as he thinks he is. And as for Tryest, it's another situation of lose/lose. I didn't pay much attention to that bit of the story but I can say that Pharma was dealing with that whole 'I need to prove im better than these jerks so everyone will like me and need me' BPD mess he has going on. A person with BPD often seeks validation from others, needing FPs to love them and respect only them, which is why he usually claims himself as the best medic. He needs the validation, that boost to his fragile ego that is crumbling with every second. Plus Tyrest promised him a place in the forged only world he was planning. It made him feel valid and needed. He chased that feeling. And then Ratchet came along and started to derail his mind. Leading him to do something that ultimately painted him in a bad light. And he proved he was stronger within the Lost Light comics. Issue 4 showed him hurtingTyrest in such a fashion that not even the best medic, not even his "beloved Ratchet" (his words, not mine), could figure out how he caused so much damage. He was pissed off. He was having a split. He was damaged. I believe we should focus more on the goods of a character, the compexity of their issues, rather than honing on one specific thing that was not that big of a fucking deal. This fandom is awful with painting certain characters as awful awful people for simple issues that can be explained very easily. NOW IF YOU'LL EXCUUUUSE ME. I'm going to take a moment to nap because I am so frustrated and overstimulated and angry rn.

Things I didn't/don't like about the df characters.
I was not a fan of Chapa in season 1. She just pissed me off so badly because she would honestly get angry for such little things, and she was just overall really stubborn. I used to skip her scenes i was just not vibing with her negativity. I know that's her character, but yeah, that's just how I felt.
I used to find Mika annoying most of season 2, and I think I already said this, but so far in season 3, I'm not the biggest of her new personality. In season 2, I just felt like she really did suck the fun outta things, and I just felt she had a small pass aggressive superiority complex even if she doesn't mean to. And so far in season 3, she just doesn't really feel like Mika, like she used to be so nice, comforting, and patient, but it seems like she sometimes she just has an unnecessary attitude and the superiority complex she's becoming more aware of. Superiority compex in a sense that she thinks she's the only smart one and no one else should have ideas type of thing. I mean, she's ofc smarter than everyone, but like give others a chance.
This one really isn't his fault. I loved Miles's characters in season 1. It felt so fresh, but it went downhill after that. He just started to become overshadowed by everyone else's soild personality, and it became too easy to forget about him. Like there really isn't anything to him. Someone could ask me what his core personality is I wouldn't really know what to say. I still adore him but he really doesn't do anything to make the audience feel anyway towards him now.
Bose is just Bose. He's the only one whose personality has stayed consistent. The stereotypical himbo that gets no character development and is only there for comedic relief. If you think about it, his character is very flat.
Should I do things I don't like about the duos??

I am just ... So crushed and hopeless and not great right now. I'm tired of being in pain.
Today went from really great- including actually walking alone on my own without the Rollator for a bit. Even if it hurt like hell and I had to do this stupid little Fancy Trot looking step with my right leg to actually walk.
And then it went to complete shit.
Massive Body TMI under the cut, dealing with bathroom use issues (so not the usual Body TMI topics in the slightest); this is one of the very few times you will ever see me doing a Read-More, so you know I'm not playing if you've been around long at all.
I haven't been taking my Meto for my Gastroparesis because I've been on soft foods that I shouldn't have issues digesting in a supine state. I, the idiot, completely forgot that Gastroparesis also affects your intestines- and that I also have POTs, and am bedbound, and both of those also mean your intestines tend to no worky righty (especially not alongside Gastroparesis) ... And I also also forgot that that Muscle Relaxers make your smooth muscles no worky righty either- and your intestines just happen to be smooth muscles 🫠
I got to discover exactly how much pain the human body could be in today when you pair that lot of incredibly lively issues together with Dairy and Compex Carb sensitive IBS, via a bowl of super cheezy Ziti Pasta in red sauce after being Constipated for 3 days ... Up to and including violently shivering and jittering, having absolutely horrid abdominal pain, tanking my blood pressure to zero again, nearly passing out multiple times, being horrifically nauseous until you wind up projectile vomiting across the bathroom, and giving myself severe chest pains!
Because we all know how much my heart has developed a love for this kind of strain on my body; I really need to get my GP to check that out, I just keep forgetting until I vomit again or something.
I am in so much pain still, and it's been hours since The Ordeal ended at this point; I literally feel like what's-her-face from The Exorcist. My whole body hurts. I've not stopped continuously running the TENS / EMS unit at this point, and I'm pretty sure that at least 80% of me is comprised of Pine Oil by now. Tomorrow is going to literaly be the worst.
But the horrid part of it all is really that The Ordeal made my hips bad again; all that time we spent recovering after my trip to the ER feels like it's backslide about half the way. Like, Baruch HaShem, I didn't wind up locked up in those spasms again with how horrible everything was. But I'm still back at the space of barely being able to move again, and I hate it so much.
I just want to give up. It's so hard to keep bothering when my body just keeps throwing one fucking thing at me after another and won't stop 😭

Hi! Sorry for bothering and i hope you are feeling good .I wanted to ask your thoughts about Otto ,his relationship with Alicent and maybe his one with Gwayne and how would you like to see him in s2.
Have a good day!
Hi! You`re not bothering me at all, your asks are always welcome and appreciated:) I`m fine, and hope so are you!
My Otto feelings are quite complicated. It`s pretty much always like this (for me, at least) with truly ambitious people: what they fight for vs how they do it. I understand his desire to be as well-off and as close to power as possible. I respect his persistence in pursuing his goals. But I also resent him for using certain methods in said pursuit: most of all, unsurprisingly, for treating his daughter and grandchildren like tools meant to help him achieve the desired outcome.
His relationship with Alicent is really compex: I do believe that he loves her, and not just in a "You can be useful" way. She is his daughter, she is his beloved deceased wife`s daughter, she is a part of him just as he is a part of her - but also she can be useful to him, and so pure fatherly love and viscous, bitter-ish ambition create a weird mix that sometimes not even Otto himself could make sense of. At times it also feels like he is simply afraid to let go of the situation because he feels like if he loses control even for a split second, then his whole life is going to collapse. And that in turn leads to him kind of underestimating Alicent and her children.
It would be really interesting to see how he treats Gwayne in comparison to Alicent. Otto is perceived by a lot of people in the fandom as one of the main (actually, the main) misogyny ambassadors of the story - but somehow I don`t think he`ll have a lot of trouble recognizing Alicent`s superiority (I don`t really want to put it like that but Otto definitely will. He is so going to compare his children with each other).
Not gonna lie, I`d also like to see him humbled, and not by Rhaenyra or Daemon but by his own kin: Alicent and, mainly, Aegon who he, by this point, perceives more as certain parts of his anatomy allowing him the use of male primogeniture than as a person able to be even a somewhat competent ruler.
And I can`t help but mention that show!Otto seems to be a real girl!granddad:) While his positive treatment of Helaena might be in part caused by the fact that she is the one continuing the line of Targtowers destined for the throne, I do think that it`s more than just that. I even have a headcanon that Helaena`s sweet and innocent nature reminds Otto of his wife.
Thank you for the ask, and have a nice day too!😉

For the bingo, c!Dteam. Sapnap, George, and Dream
Ah the full trio let's GO! All these are color coded as well cause I CAN
Tumblr media
George, good ol goggy, I can't say I have too many thoughts about him alone (my xdnf/XD thoughts are for another day cause OH BOY) but I do absolutely love the hardcore mushroom aesthetic. In general I don't have a set design for him yet in my mind but the options are plentiful and FUN, though usually I take my buddy moff's route and go for a mooshroom vibe. I do think he's a interesting character though I'm just not as well versed with him. ^^
Tumblr media
Sapnap my beloved little idiot, I'm very partial to him cause of my own design thoughts (which are pretty average/stereotypical but I do give him a fun blade tail :]) and headcanons but personally I think Sap's lore is VERY underappreciated!! It's really good and has a very interesting progression too it that feels very realistic for what all goes down in the end!!! He's a guy who's so often caught in the middle of personal conflicts and god it's interesting, also don't even get me started on him and Punz being narrative foils to eachother cause MMM GOOD SHIT. Also he's fuckin stupid/pos for making the death pact with XD, going off of the death pact rules the real reason Sapnap finale didn't happen was because of Dream & Punz testing the revival book, the MOMENT Dream lost his final life man just dropped dead. Great job guys.
Tumblr media
And last but not least, the most controversial one of them all, Dreammmm!!! My view of this guy has done a full 180 since I joined the fandom (thanks dreblr) and I can truthfully say that I love his character these days! I think there's so much to be done with the fact that we never see his pov and how he's written that's so underutilized. He's an insanely compex character and honestly it's now a red flag for me if I see people just not even try to characterize him with any form of complexity. There's sooo much going on with him and he deserves so much better in terms of fandom treatment. Also in general his character is so fuckin INTERESTING with his like psychology and how he thinks, his overarching story is so so good.
My personal design for him is a chimera, he has feline, mammal and serpentine traits in my mind for a fun best of all world type of design - and one that inherently plays into how he's often viewed within the story from the other characters (ya know unbeatable monster and all that shit - not unlike the nature of The Chimera, though in Dream's case it is very much a facade). I still don't actually know what his smile mask looks like with my design but eh I'll get to it eventually! Also for a silly headcanon I will share, I have the idea that post prison arc he has a little Siamese cat named Boots for company, who will also be getting his own post cause boots means soooo much to me.

Hi love,
could you please tell me what it mean when a man have his moon, venus and lilith falling in a woman first house (in cancer) ?
Thanks for you time. ❤️🥰
Hello 🩷
Those planets display a positive side for a relationship, but the 1st indicates friction especially Lilith. He may see her as very delicate and warm woman. However, Lilith gives him issues too. He presents certain difficulty with perceiving her as a real woman with needs or desires. The Madonna-Wh#re compex. As a romantic relationship, he wants a long-term because she may remind him of his mother (due to the moon), or he sees her as an ideal wife. As platonic, he has issues with letting any man get to her. You are valuable friend, but they're a very protective friend like a brother type, where they think you are too good.
This may change depending on other aspects and placements.
Take care 💟

LM3 Headcannon
(LUIGI'S MANSION 3 SPOILERS)
(Before reading, please remember that this is just my opinion and I'm not claiming this as canon in anyway. We're all just trying to enjoy media while we can on this big ol' rock called earth.)
So, this is gonna sound really weird and it might not make sense but just hear me out.
Aroace Hellen Gravely.
"But what about her obsession with King Boo? That's obviously meant to be seen as romantic (and/or sexual) attraction." You may be shouting at the screen. Well, first off, when people talk about Hellen and King Boo, they often bring up her infatuation with him. I don't really see an infatuation as a crush. Also, Hellen only talks about impressing him, wanting to show him how useful she can be. Now this may seem like a stretch, but what if the obsession is a result of the royal boo praising her. Capturing Luigi and his friends was all HER idea SHE set it up. King Boo merely watched and awaited to pounce his rival. It's obvious he would have been impressed and maybe even greatful. She did lure in and capture E. Gadd. Also, at the beginning of the game, King Boo talks about how lucky he is having Hellen there to break him out of his prison. When she gets angry, it's because King Boo is loosing faith in her. Because everything she actually cared about was being taken from her.
I also do think Hellen mistakenly took her admiration for him as romantic attraction. Speaking from an aroace individual, she probably felt that putting someone on such a high pedestal equaled "love". Let's be honest, King Boo is an egotistical marshmallow with a god compex, I doubt Hellen was ACTUALLY into him. Something I noticed about Hellen is how isolated she is, heck, there's a freaking vault on her office door. It's as if she shuts everyone out, afraid of what they'll think when they open closed doors. She probably saw King Boo as an inspiration for how he constantly got up, brushed off his failures and kept on moving towards achieving his goal. His goal of capturing someone who wronged him. Anyways, I'll stop there, if I don't I will just fully analyze everything about Hellen's character.
No this is not just an aroace person projecting onto their comfort character...
If you do want to know more about my headcanons, feel free to ask!
(P.S. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with shipping Hellen Gravely with other characters. Again, this is just my opinion, you do you.)

“Is that my shirt?” Or “who were you with?” 🙏🏻
hello <3 <3 i went with "is that my shirt" again, but there's another "who were you with" prompt, so i promise you'll see that one too!!!
anyway this ficlet takes place in the "what's mine is yours is ours" 'verse: anakin is still carrying, but he's very far along. it's just a sweet lil addition to the story, nothing provocative or angst filled!
(from this list of prompts)
(1k)
Anakin wishes the doors to their quarters were a little less automatic, because he wants to scream. “Master,” he calls into the empty rooms. “Master, if Knight Euliik interrupts me one more time, I’m going to rip out his fucking throat. Master?”
His master’s Force signature guides him from the entryway through the apartment and to the doorway of Anakin’s old room. Technically, no one’s slept there for years. After Anakin had been knighted, he’d been allotted his own quarters, and he’d left Obi-Wan’s, even when it hurt to leave.
And now that he’s—that he’s pregnant and living with his master—his mate—it’s not like he’s sleeping in other rooms. It’s not like he wants to sleep anywhere else but his master’s bed, in his master’s arms. And it’s definitely not like his master wants him to sleep anywhere else either.
So it’s strange, that Obi-Wan is lurking about in his old room. Strange, but not worryingly so. Obi-Wan—despite how much he protests this—is prone to displays of sentiment, especially now that Anakin is so very pregnant. It’ll be less than a month now, before he’s guided into the Halls of Healing and induced. There are two Force signatures curled up in his womb, two tiny babies he will bring into the galaxy because he loved Obi-Wan Kenobi so much that it didn’t matter they’d never touched the way alphas and omegas touch.
They’ve touched plenty in the intervening months, to make up for it.
“What are you doing?” he asks, opening the unbarred door with a flick of his wrist. Obi-Wan is sitting in the middle of the empty room, fabric strewn out before him and a pair of compex scissors in his hand. “Wait—wait, is that my shirt?”
“Yes,” Obi-Wan mumbles. He’s got a sewing needle tucked between his lips. He barely looks up at Anakin, most all of his attention completely focused upon the shirt that he’s mutilating in front of him.
“Why are you destroying my shirt?” Anakin prods, stepping further into the room. There’s a pile of cloth next to Obi-Wan’s left side, and a pile of what he hopes is scraps to his right.
“‘M not,” Obi-Wan replies, taking the needle out of his mouth to pierce the fabric. “What has Knight Euliik said now?”
“Nothing terrible,” Anakin admits, sinking onto his old mattress. He’d try for the floor, try to sit next to—against—his mate, but he’s so heavy now with child. With children. Best not to have to suffer the humiliation of not being able to get back up. “I believe I told him no less than four times—in a row—that we had no men ready to deploy to Vilonovo. And he insisted on checking every single alert we’ve posted anyway, though I tried to tell him each time that I knew exactly which sector the alert was for and none of them are anywhere close to the Gamblan sector.”
Obi-Wan brings his head up to look at him. Like always now, his eyes focus on Anakin’s stomach before rising to his face. Stupid, predictable, lovable alpha. “I will talk to him,” he decides.
“It’s not necessary,” Anakin replies immediately. “It’s not as if he accosted me in the hallway and felt me up before insulting me for being a pregnant omega.”
The air around Obi-Wan grows cold as the alpha tenses.
“He didn’t do that,” Anakin reiterates. “He’s just…it’s just frustrating. But there’s no…proof that he’s reacting this way to my opinion because of my designation or medical status.”
“You’re acting as senior adviser to the Jedi Council,” Obi-Wan points out sharply. His fingers have tightened alarmingly white onto the old tunic in front of him. “He should be respectful of you.” He says this as if he cannot understand why anyone would not automatically treat Anakin with respect. It’s so sweet that Anakin wants to cry.
“What are you doing with my shirts?” He asks instead, reaching a hand out and opening and closing his fist until Obi-Wan relents and passes him a bundle of fabric from the pile to his left for his inspection.
“It’s what we do in the creche,” Obi-Wan says. His hands knead at the old material. “For our tiniest younglings. There’s a clothing drive, old clothes donated from Masters and Knights. Someone takes the robes donated and sews them into outfits for the babies. So that they’re surrounded with the scent of family while they’re still adjusting to the Temple.”
Anakin blinks and stares down at the piece of fabric. It is, he supposes, a very rough sleeping tunic for a babe. “Oh,” he says.
“I know—we’ll raise these children. As ours. I am…I surprise myself daily at how excited I am to turn this room into…into a nursery for our children. But…I do not regret my own childhood, spent in the creche. I loved it there. There were many good practices. I would—that is, if you would…if you would be alright with it, I believe we can incorporate many into our own…plan. If you wanted.”
Anakin looks from the rough tunic down to his mate, who is avoiding all attempts at eye contact, and then back to the fabric. Slowly, he slides off the bed so as to sit next to his alpha.
“Are they just my old robes?” He asks, nuzzling into Obi-Wan’s neck. “I’m sure Ahsoka would donate a few. And Quinlan as well. I draw the line at Master Yoda, only because I’m not sure either of us can make adjustments that microscopic. But perhaps Master Windu would be able to gift us a traveling cloak.”
Obi-Wan smiles and then laughs brightly, leaning over to kiss him lightly on the cheek, hand resting on his stomach. “I’ll see what we can do,” he promises. And then, as always, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Anakin replies, only slightly breathily. “Even if you can’t sew for shit.”

Not in any way negative, just like your vibe so would love to know; do you have any other big interests besides tlt? looking for new shit to get myself into
I will take that as a compliment any day of the week Anon, thank you for the ask! This turned out much longer than I expected, so sorry about that, I can talk about all of these forever (and if you want to know more or want non-book recommendations feel free to ask). Here is a non-exhaustive list of books I feel completely Normal™ about for your troubles;
The Power by Naomi Alderman - Role reversal of patriarchal male/female dichotomy. Unique standalone with religious themes and biology based sci-fi, and it's the only "what if women were in power" I have read that feels (and is) accurately disgusting. It does a wonderful job of showing the absurdity and horror of misogyny and sexist laws/ideologies. What can I say, I love a well written compex and potentially evil woman, and there are multiple here. Pretty heavy subject matter, so check content warnings online if you feel hesitant.
One Way and No Way by S. J. Morden - Murder mystery on Mars! Finished duology where main character Frank is a contractor jailed for murdering his kid's drug dealer and a company buys his freedom in exchange for spending the rest of his days on Mars building and maintaining a research base. People start dying and after a while it becomes obvious the deaths were no accident and Frank is determined to live to tell the tale. To me it feels very The Martian meets GtN meets Knives Out.
The Jasmine Throne and The Oleander Sword by Tasha Suri - Unfinished trilogy about powers granted at a cost by entities treated as deities. Delicious lesbian yearning between a Princess wanting to be Empress and a servant who is the Chosen One™. Beautiful queer friendships alongside gut punches making you consider how much you would give up for love and the safety of your (chosen) family. This series is a favourite of mine because of how incredibly well the deities are written. No power comes without a cost and truly powerful entities do not adhere to our ideas of what morality is. Also I love cutthroat women. See a theme?
I have yet to find something that comes close to the hold TLT has on me, but occasionally something else burrows into my brain and makes room for itself. Thanks again for the ask!

Hello puppets theory #2: The needs of puppets
Using some inspiration from Marlow's hierarchy of needs (Which I don't particularly agree a lot but its an ok basis for my theory with the puppets)
So this goes with my theory and headcannon that Owen gave the puppets to much humanity to the point that they are more humans than puppets
Since they are now living things, my theory goes that the puppets are now exhibiting many needs that living things exhibit
We all don't necessarily exhibit all of them as individuals work differently, but I can aee some primary and psychological needs that Marlow's theory mentions
For example the need of resources to live is represented on the way puppets need host
Or the need to feed on their curious nature like Riley does with her science and experiments and her desires to be renowned.
My theory is that Owens reflection of the puppets only goes beyond the main four characteristics in the game he represented that was presented in all four puppets, however the puppets are their own free individuals ans creations of free will with their desires and needs.
This goes mostly reflected on their needs and wants, and of course what they desire based on those Nicks
I am not particularly fond of trying to find a way to connect Owen into the puppets and his past as it does takes away of the puppets individuality, and it stretches a lot of the lore we were given to the point it doesn't feel natural to me, but that's my silly personal opinion
I do respect and understand those who do believe in those Owen theories, I just happen to strongly disagree, but I am more than fine if you believe the latter and disagree with me. There is no confirmation of what the actual lore is, and I do love to read and see other variations
The puppets all have a need of survival, ao that goes out of the picture as it goes with Everyone.
So my theory for each of the puppets are the following
Mortimer
Mortimer exhibits a great need of control in his environment including his subjects. I believe it's tied to his desire of staying in power and being the true voice of the puppets (As he's rather paranoid)
Mortimer exhibits a need of safety. This goes more into him being a paranoid as he's afraid and is suspicious that everyone is doing stuff behind his back and he wants to make sure he's safe from danger as the "Father" of the cult
Mortimer see and has a great desire of seel upgrade through comparing himself as as a king and wanting his show back it feeds with his desire around his ego
I do think he has a slight physiological need of companionship, but he wants subjects rather than a "family"
Riley
Riley has more compex needs, so I'll start with the Good boi as her need of companionship. As she has a strong bond and most likely a codependency with Mortimer, he's the unstable individual that she cannot fulfill that need +She really misses her good boi
Riley has the need of improving and challenging herself. Riley has a pretty damn good self-eateem and she knows she can do better than her current situation as she expreses it im the tapes
Riley has a need of approval from Mortimer although she has a good self-esteem. I do thibk this is due to Mortimer's rather chilly and unstable demeanor. Riley wants to prove herself she's worthy as Mortimer is a always criticizing everyone.
Now I do believe part of Riley is seeking for a safer and more grounded place in the host world as the way they are living limits for their survival needs
Daisy
Daisy seems to have a great need of self worth and appriciation which she doesn't have on herself. I'll say this goes more into the esteem needs
I am not sure if Daisy has a need for companionship, but I guess it could be related to her need and desire to be nice and pleasant to people to like her.
Ummm for Self a actualization, I'll say Daisy wants more people to not treat her as this dumb person and she wants people to respect her and be nicer to her as she's nice to them
For safety, ummm I think that Neeed was satisfied after Riley helped her accept Danger mode as part of her
Nick
First and foremost Nick has a lot of self-esteem issues that he hides through some related Narcissism (I forgot what is called, but ifs about usikg narcissism to deflect your low-self-esteem )
For safety, I do believe it's related to escape Mortimer's physical abuse and be in space where he can lower his defense mechanisms and be himself
Self actualization could be Nick wanting something good for once like a better upgraded room and Mortimer at least favoring him
Well, I'll talk about Nicks feelings now. As a reminder, I dont think anyone is related and they're a cult. So, let's dive into the most important need he has:
So, we know about Nick's feelings and I have seen people theorized it was translated into Owen crushing on someone, but I think this is more about Nick's physiological means of love and companionship as I do think a tape is implying Owen to be an AroAce. So Nick's love and desires for Riley delivers from his need and desires to have love, give love, and recieve love. I do believe his painting reflects his needs of having a strong and trustful relationship that he's hesitant to have because he's embarrassed to admit he...well wants Riley to be his mate as in thr last tape he seemed to have an idea of what they were going to do at Mortimers office (I saw a scripted version error on the rosco's origins video that made me belief Nick thought perhaps he was either tying the knot with her or want to escape) this goes with his hopeless romantic fantasies but it goes into another set of headcannons. Tell me id you're interested
Well, there you have it folks!
