BotW Zelink is my favorite because we actually get to see their relationship develop through the flashbacks and the diaries. We get to see them come to understand and care for and love each other and it's so beautiful. They go from:

Zelda: Believes Link is judging her for not awakening her power and resents him for so "easily" coming into his destiny; goes all the way to Gerudo Town to get away from him

Link: Tries his best to be the Hero that Hyrule needs him to be despite how much anguish this causes him while also trying to do the job given to him by the King even though his charge hates him for reasons he does not understand

To

Zelda: Feels guilty for judging Link so harshly and projecting her insecurities on him and genuinely tries to get to know him

Link: Tries to help Zelda in any way he can by helping her bond with her horse or listening to her infodump about science and technology or being there for her every step as she tries to awaken her power

To

Zelda: Learns that Link is selectively mute due to trauma of his duty and is struggling just as much as she is; starts helping him out any way she can such as bandaging him up after battle

Link: Confides in Zelda about his struggles when asked and talks to her and ONLY her, staying mute with everyone else

To

Zelda: Breaks down sobbing in Link's arms during the Calamity because she knows he doesn't judge her and is a safe space

Link: Holds her as she cries and even before that took a "fuck everyone else, I'm saving YOU" approach during the Calamity even though Rhoam was dead and Link's job was therefore ended

To

Zelda: Awakens to her power out of explicit desire to save Link, and holds Ganon trapped in Hyrule Castle to give Link time to recover

Link: Dies to save Zelda, makes sure her face is the last he sees, wakes up with no memories but instinctual desire to follow her voice

To

Link & Zelda: Sharing a house in Hateno Village, never seen apart, Link's duty to her ended 100 years ago but he chooses to stay with her and she chooses to stay with him and even when she has lost all sense of self she STILL goes to him to save him and he finds her when she's not even herself anymore

We see their relationship develop through every stage, and it's beautiful. IMO, no other Link & Zelda have this level of relationship development. It's beautiful.

Sidon absolutely ADORES your dog

he’d never actually come across a dog before

and he has so many questions

“This is a dog? Oh my goodness! It’s so cute, and soft, and amazing, and...!”

he would go on forever about how cool you are for having a dog

this man would match the energy of your dog, whether it be energetic or not

and if you have an energetic dog…

good luck getting them both to calm down

Sidon would play with your dog for HOURS

and they’ll become best friends very very quickly

does your dog get the zoomies?

does your dog like to lounge around and not move a lot?

Sidon will sit and pet it while reading letters and planning events

the love Sidon and your dog share is be endless

whenever the two of you are out with the dog, the children get SO excited

“This is a dog?”

“What does it do?”

“Can it talk?”

you’d show the children some of the tricks your dog knows

and Sidon is amazed every. single. time.

“THAT WAS SO COOL!!!”

Sidon loves taking the dog on walks

and when the two of you take walks together with your dog, he’s glad to know that you’re extra protected

because your safety is key

Sidon treats your dog like he would his own

and it’s treated like royalty by the domain… obviously

it warms your heart to know that he loves your dog this much

and you can’t help but to think that he’s the perfect ‘dog dad’

Even as a zelink shipper whenever people refer to Link and Zelda as soulmates it makes me laugh, cause yeah you're not wrong they totally are but Ganondorf is also technically their soulmate in that regard? The poly shippers have gotten around that issue but for everyone else he's literally born to third wheel. No wonder he's pissed, not only does he never get to realize his ambitions he's gotta watch that awkward teenage romance over and over for eternity. you’ll get so many forehead kisses

“Do you want to tell me about it?”

he’s not pushy as all

and if you decide to tell him or not, he’ll let you know that everything is okay

and he’d give you the biggest hug

he’d absolutely try to lighten the tension and make you laugh

and it makes you smile

he knows you’re tired

and he knows you’re scared to go back to sleep
