how about what would happen if the star wars boys made you cry 👀
ok i kinda did this in the scenario that you're arguing and they make you cry
characters: din, poe, finn, han, luke & obi-wan
din djarin
he is HORRIFIED the minute tears spring from your eyes
maybe you're fighting, maybe he got stressed and said something in the heat of moment, whatever it is, he's immediately forgotten about what he was mad about and he's by your side, floods of apologies coming from his mouth and gloved hands taking yours
he just kinda pulls you into his chest and holds you for a moment and my GOD he wants the world to swallow him up because he loves you more than anything in the world and he normally hates whoever makes you cry but right now it's him
truth is, you know din and you know that he would never do anything to intentionally hurt you so as far as apologies go, it's one you accept pretty quickly
he's gonna apologise for like a week after that
even if it becomes annoying
poe dameron
poe just sort of freezes and has this "oh fuck" look on his face
"oh god, don't cry. please don't cry. did i make you cry? oh my god. i made you cry."
and then he probably starts crying too
because he always wants to cry when you cry but the fact that he's the one responsible for it? woo boy
he swallows it down though and doesn't let you see because he doesn't want to seem like he's taking away from what he's done
his immediate reaction is to want to hug you, but he waits for a moment to see if you'll let him because he doesn't know if you're gonna swing at him tbh
if you let him, he holds you fucking tight. he doesn't apologise then and there, though, not until things have calmed down - normally a few moments later - that he says sorry and you know it's from the bottom of his heart
he goes out his way over the next few days to make it up to you; flowers, dinner, a romantic trip to a distant planet, but above all, he makes an active effort to never let it happen again
and that's what matters most
finn
honestly finn looks like a kicked puppy
because he tries so hard to never argue with you or get mad EXACTLY FOR THIS REASON and he has failed in his attempts and oh lord he wants to die
he doesn't jump immediately to apologising, mostly because he wants you to say what you need to say and he doesn't want to talk over you
and he listens!! he wants to know what he did and what he said so that it never happens again
then he apologises, and it's always straight to the point but still eloquent and meaningful
finn isn't gonna be the kinda guy who apologises for days (oh, din) or goes out his way to shower you in sorry gifts (ah, poe) because mostly he just wants to move on from it and get back to a good place with you but it's like...not in a way that he forgets about it??
it's more of a thing that he hates things being off with you. like it literally kills him inside. so he encourages you to both move forward and get back to the good stuff.
but he also makes it clear that he has learnt from it
han solo
han literally doesn't know what to do. he can barely handle people crying at the best of times but when a) it's you and b) you're crying because of him?
his immediate reaction is to run, because it's han and he always wants to peg it away from every single issue but his chest hurts at the idea and it hurts even more when he knows he's the bastard that made you cry
he just goes silent and is kinda 🧍‍♂️for a second because his brain is computing but then he realises that he does know what to do when you cry and that's attack the thing that upset you
then he realises that he can't do that and goes "well i can't fucking blast myself, so i don't really know what to do right now" and it's stupid and dumb and oh my god han read the fucking room but at least it breaks the ice a little bit and you smile
because, despite everything and despite han being...well, han, you know he's trying his best and the fact he's even still in front of you is actually something of a miracle
that's your cue to rip into him, by the way, because even if you're crying it is canon that the only way to get han solo to listen to you is to tear him a new one (or three) so he will stand there and take the bollocking
after that, he apologises. han isn't good with words so it's a little bit spacey and awkward but the intent is there
but he also makes it abundantly clear that he never means to hurt you and you know, from the bottom of his heart, that he means it
luke skywalker
luke literally stops in his tracks and he's holding you immediately and going "i didn't mean that, i really didn't mean that, please don't hate me"
literally his entire facade his gone - the stubbornness, whatever he's arguing about - just disappears and he realises immediately that none of it is worth making you cry
so the man is literally holding you before your tears even start and he's already apologising over and over
he does want to listen to you though and hear what you have to say, so he's all ears
tbh, it's hard to stay angry at luke for long because you know he's completely pure intentioned and good hearted but you can absolutely opt to give him the silent treatment or take space for as long as you need and he will let you do it
after that, he buys you flowers and will make it up to you in every way he knows how
obi-wan kenobi
out of everyone on the list, obi-wan is the one who is the most shooketh to his core when he realises that he's made you cry
because he's so chivalrous and loving and might as well live to serve you so the idea that he's hurt you is quite possibly his greatest fear come true
his immediate reaction is to give you space. he'll apologise first and let you know that he's ready to talk whenever you are, simply because he doesn't want to overstep or push you to make up until you're ready
but as soon as you are, he's all ears and listening to everything you have to say
again - and i feel like i'm saying this for every character here lol - you know that he'd never hurt you intentionally and although that's the main, the proof is in the pudding when he actively listens to you and makes an effort to avoid it happening again

headcanon post idea: everyone’s reactions when you tell them you’re proud of them (ex. after a tough mission or bc they’ve been having a hard time mentally/emotionally)
Tumblr media
Although she’s used to the spotlight from being royalty and a revered leader in the rebellion, Leia isn’t very used to genuine praise. She’s usually the one praising someone else (or yelling at them, more likely) and the most she’s gotten in the last few years is a quick “good work” when she delivered the plans for the first Death Star before the Battle of Yavin. So when you first make her look you in the eye and genuinely tell her that you’re proud of her, she freezes for a minute. The last time she really heard that from someone who meant it was her parents, so it hits her a bit harder than she expected and she doesn’t completely know what to do with the feeling. She’s so used to being the rock for everyone else – and keeping her inner thoughts a secret was part of her job and how she stayed safe for a long time – that she takes a while to show any sort of big emotion in front of people, and even then will only do so in private. She gives you a small smile, nod, and quiet thanks before redirecting the attention to you, how much you helped, and says how she’s proud of you. But she will concede to an “I’m proud of us” before giving your shoulder an affectionate squeeze.
Tumblr media
Luke also hasn’t heard a genuine “I’m proud of you” in a long time (not that the OT gang isn’t proud of him, they just typically don’t say it in words), but he tends to be a bit more emotionally available than his sister on a more regular basis. He can’t keep the emotion off his face and for a second, you’re afraid you said the wrong thing as his big, blue eyes start getting glassy. It means the galaxy to him, especially from someone who knows everything that happened with Owen, Beru, his father, and the emperor, not to mention all the weight on his shoulders in regard to rebuilding the Jedi Order from scratch. He collects himself soon after, but still gives you a warm smile and “thank you” before wrapping you in a tight hug. He tells you he’s proud of you as well and there isn’t anyone else he’d rather have on his team, holding the hug for a bit longer than you expected (but you, of course, would never be the first to let go).
Tumblr media
Han pretends to be affection-averse, even though he isn’t – but, hey, he’s got a reputation to maintain. He splutters for a minute before recovering and saying something along the lines of, “Yeah, I am aware how awesome I am, kid, and I’m glad you’ve finally realized it, too. Ya know, I’m gonna remind you that you acknowledged my greatness next time you get on me for somethin’ – in fact, here,” he holds his comm right in front of your mouth and hits record, “why don’t you say that again so I have some proof?” You bat the comm away and tell him how insufferable he is before you both go back to what you were doing before. But, when he thinks you’re not looking, you can see the dopiest smile across his face.
Tumblr media
Lando takes it the most in stride. He looks surprised for a minute, before smiling, thanking you, and putting a hand on your shoulder and giving it an affection squeeze and light shake. “You’re not so bad yourself,” he says before remarking on how you two make a great team, even going so far as to list specifics of exactly why you work so well together. He wraps his arm around your shoulders as the two of you walk back to base, a new spring in his step that you can’t deny is adorable.
Tumblr media
Chewie (platonic) immediately says something in Shyriiwook that you think (hope?) sounds happy before enveloping you in a bear hug that almost crushes your ribs. You hang on for dear life, half laughing and half struggling to breathe, patting the Wookiee’s back before begging him to put you down before he accidentally crushes you. He mumbles something that almost sounds like the cadence of an apology in his language before setting you down and affectionately petting your head.
Tumblr media
R2D2 (platonic) chirps, whistles, and wobbles on his two outer legs happily and is then adorably glued to your side the rest of the day. Han and Lando tease you about how you’ve found yourself your own personal servant, but Leia and Luke think it’s adorable, and even Luke comments on how much R2 loves you when he’s out of earshot. C3PO translates at some point, telling you how much R2 appreciates the compliment and that he enjoys working with you before the astromech is zipping away again to refill your water bottle for the third time.
Tumblr media
C3PO (platonic) gives you a surprised “oh, my” before thanking you profusely. He even gives you a little bow and says, “You’re too kind. I enjoy our work together as well and you do a marvelous job at everything you set your mind to.” You give him a smile and a thanks before turning back to what you were previously doing, laughing quietly to you overhear him walking down the hall going, “Oh, Master Luke, you won’t believe what just happened!”

booze and confessions | luke skywalker
pairing: luke x reader
word count: 1,9k
summary: where y/n celebrates the end of the war a little too much, ending in a confession
a/n: i feel like it has been ages since i wrote something even though it's not true lmao hope you enjoy lovely!! <3
warnings: angst, mentions of war, mentions of death
universe: star wars
Tumblr media
To be honest, you have no idea how many drinks you already have in your system, but when if not today are you allowed to celebrate like this? After the Death Star was successfully destroyed, the Empire was defeated and peace and tranquility will return to the entirety of the galaxy. The age of fear and terror is over, the time of fighting is over and you can finally let yourself go. Finally, there is something to celebrate, something you have been working towards for years. And today, after all the suffering, that goal has been achieved and you could not be any happier to be right here, right now: on Endor, in the midst of numerous Ewoks dancing and partying, with your friends who fought alongside you all those years while the sky above you is lit up in a variety of colours.
However, the exertion of the day affects your body, your feet slowly starting to hurt from this long, fateful day and when you see Luke sitting at a table, with Han and Leia next to him, a break from all this celebrating suddenly sounds quite attractive and you stumble and stagger towards them.
"There he is! The man of the hour!", you chuckle happily as soon as you are near them, your arms spread wide as you head straight for Luke, who examines you with a small but shy smile. Before he can answer, however, you actually trip over your own feet and almost hit the ground if it wouldn't be for Luke's strong arms to prevent you from falling to the ground.
"Woah! Be careful!", Luke warns you, but what he does not expect is that you barely noticed your little misstep and just sit on his lap, giggling with joy. "I think someone had a drink or two too many."
"Are you talking about me? Don't you worry, Luke, I'm perfectly fine!", you cheekily smile at him, swaying a bit which is why he carefully puts one of his hands on your arm so you do not fall off your seat on top of him.
"Maybe you just didn’t have enough?", you tease him, showing him his glass, turning it upside down to emphasize that it is empty. Of course, this victory also comes with a lot of pain for Luke and Leia due to the loss of their father, but Luke has assured you several times that he is fine and that he still wants to celebrate this victory, in honor of his father.
That is also why you really wanted the two of you to have a good time together, but apparently you really had a few too many drinks.
"She definitely had too much", Han comments on your behaviour, sitting across from you with an arm around Leia, followed by a laugh. "I think I have rarely seen her like this and I have seen a lot."
"Han, you could use another drink, don't you think?", you answer him provocatively, but before you can elaborate, you feel the warmth of Luke's hand running up and down your arm. Heat rushes to your face, your cheeks turning red, but you just reach for his other hand and play with his fingers enthusiastically.
"I never thought I would see Ewoks in my life! I mean, did you look at them? They are so cute, I can't believe they stopped an army of stormtroopers by themselves!", you gush in awe upon watching these little creatures dance around their fire. "Don't worry, Luke. You are still cute as hell, too."
"Oh wow, it must sting to be compared to little furry bears", Han chuckles, putting his hand over his mouth to stop himself from laughing out loud. Leia, also trying to hold back her laughter for her brother's sake, hits Han with her elbow.
"Stop it, Han. I am not even talking to you, just to Luke. Look at you! Such a beautiful face!", you grin, running your index finger along Luke's jawline. Your faces are so close now that they are almost touching and as soon as your eyes meet, the world around you becomes silent.
But just when Luke thinks you are about to close the gap between you, you throw your arms around his neck and place a kiss on his cheek, your arms wrapped tightly around his neck.
"I really love you, Luke", you whisper, or at least think you are whispering, because Han comments your words with inhaling in shock.
"No, that is news to me. I would never have expected that in my life, with the way you always look at each other-"
"Han!" Luke and Leia interrupt him at the same time and he immediately raises his hands in the air in defense, an expression of innocence on his face.
"It is not at all fun to say if you don't say it back, Luke", you sadly pout now, skillfully ignoring Han or not even noticing him due to your numbed senses. Because you are moving too much again, you almost slide off Luke's lap once more, but he holds you tight again in the last moment so that does not happen.
"Well, I think it is time for you to lie down now. It was a long evening and-"
"B-But we haven't even danced with each other yet!", you say indignantly as Luke stands up with you and immediately grab his hand, lifting it up to do several clumsy pirouettes underneath.
To prevent you from tripping over your own feet again, Luke casually lifts you into his arms, causing you to squeal as everything around you suddenly seems to spin even more. Not resisting or fighting back, enjoying the closeness you now have to him too much, you wave to Leia and Han over Luke's shoulder and let him carry you into one of the huts further up in the treetops.
Luke gently lays you down on the small mattress laid out in your hut and covers you with the blanket, sitting next to you. Your eyes are already half closed, but one of your hands is still clinging tightly to his.
"I love you too, you can't even imagine how much", Luke admits before giving you a kiss on the forehead and leaving you to your dreams, which for the first time are only consisting of positive things.
════════════
Scattered rays of light shine into your face, causing you to wake up far too early after the previous long night. Slowly, you open your eyes and listen to the soft rustling of the leaves outside. You stretch your arms above your head as you yawn and sit up, running your hands through your face as the first effects of last night make themselves noticeable.
You curse under your breath as you rise on shaky legs, having to hold onto the wall of the small hut to keep your balance. You already regret not drinking less yesterday, but it felt so good in the moment. Completely sleepy and not yet fully awake, you stumble out onto the wooden platform high up in the trees and stop in your tracks when you see Luke standing on the railing in front of you, looking out over the Ewok village.
The light wind blows through his hair and the sunlight causes his face to shine naturally. Barely able to take your eyes off him, memories of last night suddenly come to your mind and your heart beats faster. You can't remember everything, there are some missing parts in your memories, but what you can remember brings a blush to your cheeks in an instant.
Wanting nothing more than to immediately disappear back into your hut because you just do not want to be confronted with your actions of last night, you slowly turn around, retreating, but as soon as he says your name, you know he does not even need to see you to know you are there.
With a smile, Luke turns to you, leaning his back against the railing.
"Slept well?", he asks gently, but you think you can also hear a certain amount of concern in his voice.
With a nod, you slowly walk towards him, looking away because you just can't keep eye contact, too afraid of what you might see in his eyes.
"How are you?", you ask carefully as you lean over the railing next to him and he looks at you from the side, his focus solely on you which makes your cheek feel even warmer. Playing with a strand of rope that is holding the wood of the railing together, you wait for his answer, your heart beating loudly in your ears as your shoulders touch.
"I'm good. We won so..", Luke chuckles quietly, but immediately falls awkwardly silent again.
You stand next to each other in silence for several minutes, just listening to the wind and the peaceful sounds of the forest. But you both feel that there is something unspoken between you and neither of you knows how or whether to address it. Once Luke finally clears his throat, you brace yourself for the worst.
"You don't have to be embarrassed about what happened last night if that is why you are not speaking to me like you usually do", Luke addresses the rancor in the room and you want to run away and lock yourself up somewhere and just never come out again.
"Luke, I'm incredibly sorry. I-I had too much to drink and my behavior was completely inappropriate", you apologize to him, head down because you just can't manage to look at him without immediately turning bright red. Why are you suddenly so completely out of control of your emotions?
"Oh... I see. Uhm, you don't have to apologize. I mean, if it was just the effects of having too much to drink, then it was probably just a mistake.."
"W-What do you mean?", you ask in surprise, not knowing what he is trying to imply. Or maybe you do know and just do not want to admit it.
"Well, I mean- So I- Would it be wrong of me if, deep down, I hoped that it was more than that? That it was, maybe, real?"
"Luke, what are you talking about...?"
"Would it be so bad if it was real? Do you really feel about me that way?", he asks you and now you finally look into each other's eyes and you hold your breath, searching his eyes for any signs that will tell you what is going on, if he actually means his words.
"Because if that were the case, then all I can say is that I feel the same way about you. Maybe even more", he continues, not letting you speak as he takes your hands in his. "I really really love you too. I told you yesterday, but I don't think-"
"I know. I think I heard it", is the only thing you can say in response to his confession, your thoughts swirling around in your head. You never would have thought that he would feel the same way about you and for some reason your heart now beats a little more painfully than before because you just feel so much love for this man in front of you.
"As I told you yesterday, Luke: I really love you too", you admit openly and before you know it, he wraps you in his arms and hugs you as tightly as if you wouldn't experience the next day.
And in that moment you realize that you would never find a safer place than right here, in his arms. That no matter what comes your way in the future, nothing matters as long as you have each other. And finally, after all this time, you do have each other.

Summary: Luke Skywalker is ready to take Grogu and Reader with him for training. You are quite intimidated and shy around him because of his looks. Luke notices your nervousness and decides to have a sweet conversation about it. Falling in love with him, you start avoiding him knowing how serious he is off the Jedi code. When Ahsoka stumbles upon you, she finds it adorable that you are hiding yourself from him. Eventually encouraging you to accept your feelings. When Grogu falls asleep, Luke asks why you keep running away from him, leading up to a confession
Tumblr media
The cloaked figure lowered his hood. It’s eyes drawn immediately to you. They lingered for a moment before moving on towards the little green kid that Din was holding. Moving his cloak aside, he rose his gloved hand upwards. – “I’ve come for the child and the girl.” – he spoke, gaze going back to you. Your breath shuddered as your posture straightened. – “I’ve come to train them.” – he added moving his gaze to Din Djarin. Din looked down at Grogu, then up to you. It made you swallow as this was truly the beginning of something new.
The search for a jedi trainer finally fulfilled. Din said his goodbye’s to Grogu as you looked over your shoulder to Bo-Katan. She had a sense of what was expected from you, making her way over to you. Opening her arms, she let you fall against her embrace, hugging you tight. – “You’ll be alright Y/n. We’ll be alright too. Just focus on your training with the kid and we’ll see each other soon.” – Bo-Katan told you, squeezing you tight. Feeling your eyes swell up, you had to hold back any tears. – “I’ll miss you.” – you spoke back, saying your goodbye.
Bo-Katan nodded slowly letting go of you. Fennic nodded proudly at afar to you. Turning around you noticed Din had taken off his helmet. Seeing him for the first time with a face. Grogu already making his way over to the jedi. Din had tears in his eyes. Seeing them made you tear up as well. The water flowing down, making you rush up into his embrace. – “Take care of the kid, Y/n.” – he spoke, brushing his fingers through your hair.
You nodded, tightening your embrace. – “I’ll see you again… I am sure of it Din.” – you whispered to him. – “I love you.” – you said to him as he was like a brother to you. – “You too.” – he answered giving you a kiss against your cheek. – “Don’t forget.” – he said wiping his cheek dry. – “You are part Mandalorian too Y/n. My family.” – he added touching your chin. Your lip trembled, hating to say goodbye. It felt like a piece of your life got torn apart. – “Y/n.” – closing your eyes, you dropped your shoulders with a deep exhale.
Slowly turning around with teary eyes at your new destiny. The jedi carrying Grogu in his hand as his other was still extended towards you. Nodding to reassure yourself of your new faith, you started approaching him. Moving your hand outwards, longing for a grip. The tip of your fingers coming in contact with his. Slowly moving further down his hand to his palm where he gently closed his fingers over your hand. Inhaling deep you had accepted the path your life was taking now.
He turned as you followed his steps, coming to his side. His hand lowered to the side, leading you out of the room, Grogu in his other. You forced yourself to look back one more time with pity in your eyes. Noticing the jedi was watching you. – “It is for the best.” – he told you. – “It is the path you must take.” – you lowered your gaze not so sure of that right now. The jedi let go of your hand near his x-wing where you settled in with Grogu.
*
You swallowed nervously standing before him. Luke gestured for you to sit as you hesitantly did. He sat down as well noticing you were looking away around to the green scenery of nature rather then your jedi trainer. – “Y/n.” – Luke spoke to pull your attention to him. – “Oh… sorry…” – you responded brushing your palms nervously over your legs, turning your head to him. Still rather avoiding any long eye contact with him. There was just something so intimidating and attractive about him that made you all nervous and shy.
Something you hadn’t been in a while. Unable to know for sure how to handle it. – “Take a deep breath.” – Luke ordered calmly moving his hand upwards. So you did. Waiting further instructions fidgeting with your fingers. Once more rather looking away then be forced to look at him. There was something about his gaze that made you feel shy. – “Y/n.” – Luke repeated to get your attention. You smiled sheepishly already haven forgotten. Luke took a deep breath, setting his hands on his knees.
“What is going through your mind Y/n? You are out of focus.” – he pointed out having observed you closely. You remained silent too intimidated by his good looks and superior position over yours. Luke tilted his head a bit to the side. – “Is it your Mandalorian friend you miss?” – he questioned curiously. You hadn’t even thought about him so openly it made you widen your eyes. Suddenly getting up to leave. – “I…I can understand…” – Luke called out as you got up. – “Y/n!” – he shouted wanting you to come back.
You came sitting down on a large rock, looking over to where Grogu was asleep. Your head turned when you heard a clearance of his throat. – “May I?” – Luke asked politely. He took your silence as an invitation coming to sit beside you. He sat there with you for a moment, listening to the breeze ruffle through the grass. Taking the peace silence gave him. – “You must truly be close to him for you to miss him that much…” – Luke started. You took a deep breath. – “It is not that.” – you spoke. – “Is it not?”- he furrowed his brows, watching you.
“Then what makes you nervous if I may ask?” – he set his hand closer to you. – “I sense you are out of balance.” – his gaze remaining on you. The way he looked at you made you fluster. Cheeks flashed with heat, looking shyly down. – “It’s you…” – you nervously told him. – “Me?” – Luke answered baffled watching you nod. – “How so?” – he wanted to know, turning his posture more to you. Bringing one knee up on the rock with him. You took a breath, a bit scared to tell him.
Luke reached out, placing his hand on yours. – “You can tell me Y/n. I would be happy to improve myself for you.” – he started. – “I might take on a wrong approach of teaching towards you. If that is the case, I am open for critique so I can adapt and be better.” – his hand pressed against his chest. You rapidly waved your hands across as that was not the case. Luke quirking his eyebrow up.
“No…no that is not what it is.”- you told him, making him chuckle. – “It is rather… you… just you… being a bit… intimidating…” – Luke realized. – “Oh… forgive me… I did not intend to.” – he replied shy. You smiled nervously at him as that was the case. Luke looked briefly away, wetting his lips. – “I know I might come across as strict and superior, but I am not. Not so long ago I was a pupil myself.” – he informed you to ease your worriedness.
“Standing in your position, carrying the weight of the jedi way on my back.” – he smiled hesitantly trying to ease the situation. You smiling back at him gave him some comfort. – “What I’m trying to say is Y/n. You and I are not so different.” – he took your hand placing it against his chest, feeling the healthy beating of his heart. – “Please don’t be nervous around me. There is no need for that.” – your heart fluttered at how caring he was towards you. The sweetness coming from him, making your heartbeat louder. Cheeks flushing with heat from simply looking into his eyes. Luke got off the rock, helping you down. – “Shall we give it another try?” – he suggested as you nodded.
*
“Y/n?” – you heard Luke shout out loud. Peeking through the greenery you watched him at the top of the hill, looking searchingly around. – “Y/n? Where are you?” – he called out. You hid more behind the bush when his head turned this way. Swallowing nervously, you were at it again. Hiding from Luke Skywalker simply because you had fallen head of heels for him. Normally it shouldn’t be a problem if it was not for Luke being such a strict believer of the old Jedi code. – “Y/n!” – your eyes widened seeing Luke make his way down the hill.
Gasping loud, you turned around, sneaking away. The further he staid away from you, the easier it was for your loving heart. No temptations to be tested. You moved through the woods increasing the distance between you and him. You just couldn’t trust your own heart around him. A familiar feeling inside of you made you come to a sudden stop. It was Luke trying to sense your presence with the force. – “No…no!” – you shout-whispered, blocking it out. – “I’m sorry Luke… but I can’t let you in.” – you said to yourself.
You started running again, the farther away from him the better. You came to a new area near water making you jump over a log and drop to the ground behind it. – “Uhum!” – you suddenly heard making you gasp loud. Lifting your head up you saw Ahsoka staring questioning at you. – “What are you doing?” – she asked. Her chin lifted up, head turning to the sound of Luke shouting your name. You smiled sheepishly at her.
“Are you hiding from Luke, Y/n?” – she asked teasingly. – “No…yes…maybe.” – you answered making sure you staid out of sight. Ahsoka chuckling amusingly. She took a deep breath, approaching you. Bending a bit through her knees, hands folded between her knees. – “He’s getting really desperate into finding you.” – she told you trying to hide her smile. – “I know…” – you breathed out, keeping your head low. – “Should you not pull the poor soul out of his misery?” – she spoke coming to sit on the log you were hiding behind.
“I’m the poor soul you should put out of her misery.” – you told her, peeking over the log for any sight of him. – “How so?” – Ahsoka asked teasingly already having a clue. – “I’m overdoing it with my heart.” – you spoke ducking back down. Ahsoka laughed cheeky. – “It is against the Jedi code!” – you shout-whispered to her. Ahsoka rolling with her eyes. – “I shouldn’t feel this way.” – you continued looking at her.
“Damn the jedi code!” – Ahsoka called out, startling you. She took a deep breath, taking your hand as she pulled you up to come and sit with her. – “It is perfectly alright for you to feel such way Y/n.” – she clasped her hands around yours. – “Besides there are no stuffy old jedi masters around to slap you on the wrist.”
She was right. Whatever for were you feeling scared. – “You should probably don’t leave him waiting very long.” – she spoke with a wink. – “Right.” – you answered getting up. Ahsoka watched you leave, chuckling giddy. You stepped through the woods to meet up with Luke. – “Y/n!” – Luke breathed out relieved, coming to run over. He wrapped his arms around you as you could only stare over his shoulder into the distance. – “I’m glad to have found you.” – he told you, pulling back. You followed him back up the hill to where Grogu was. Grogu walking over to you.
You smiled picking him up from the ground. Tickling the little one till you settled down on the ground. Grogu staying on your lap. Luke came sitting beside you staring in front of him. The sun slowly setting behind him. It didn’t take Grogu long to fall asleep in your lap. All curled up against your body, nestled between your legs. – “Y/n.” – Luke started catching your attention. You hummed loud, looking up from Grogu to him. – “May I ask why you have been avoiding me these past few days?” – he so boldly asked making you widen your eyes.
“I never seem to find you or get the chance to even speak with you.” – you swallowed nervously, looking ashamed away. Luke set his hands beside his body, moving closer to you. – “Have I done something wrong?” – moving even closer to you that his hand was already behind your back. You sensed him come up close, flustering you. – “I…I…” – you stuttered out, unable to find the right words.
“Yes.” – he asked staring deeply into your eyes. It made you swallow nervously so caught up with him. – “I swear I didn’t mean for it to happen…” – you said, leaning in as well. – “Running away?” – he asked drawing in even closer. You shook your head, taking a hold of his shirt. – “Falling in love.” – you confessed. Before you knew it the words had come out of your mouth, making you widen your eyes in shock.
Luke’s gaze lowering on your lips when you were moving your head back. Luke pressed his hand against your cheek, pulling you closer till his lips crashed yearningly against yours. Immediately melting under his touch, you kissed him back. Luke pulled back for a moment to speak. – “Don’t go avoiding me anymore Y/n.” – you shook your head as he kissed you again.

Hi! This prompt is top tier! 👌I’m really bad at flirting irl, thankfully writing comes a lot easier to me, lol! NSFW below the cut! Minors dni!
Summary: You and Luke attend a formal ball, however, you have your heart set on seducing the Jedi Knight.
Warnings: Smut, this is filthy, reader has female parts, fingering, I can’t think of anymore warnings…
Tumblr media
Music fills your ears as you walk into the ballroom. You and Luke had been invited to a formal ball on some distant planet as a thank you for saving them from pirates. Though a party wasn’t exactly worth the risk, you were grateful for the free food.
Luke and yourself were dressed for the occasion. Your hosts were kind enough to let you borrow formal outfits for the ball. You wore a black silk dress, and Luke wore a black suit and tie.
You couldn’t keep your eyes off Luke, he looked extremely handsome in the suit. Every time you pulled your eyes away from him they would naturally wonder back to him. You and Luke had known each other for awhile, you figured being a Jedi he wouldn’t be affected by flirting. Maybe, just maybe… you could still shoot your shot…
You stood near the buffet, picking at some of the interesting looking foods. You see Luke talking with someone, a Duke, perhaps. Luke looks bored, doing the bare minimum to be polite. Luke excuses himself from the conversation and walks over to you.
“Having fun?” You ask sarcastically. Luke let’s out an exaggerated sigh,
“That was the most boring conversation I have ever had.” Luke grabs a piece of fruit from the buffet. This is your chance to flirt with him…
In a low seductive tone you ask, “Maybe I can entertain you…?” Luke goes silent, his cheeks starting to flush. He tries to say something, anything, but he is speechless.
You didn’t expect him to react, let alone be speechless. You smile to yourself, and grab a piece of fruit. Luke watches you take a small slow bite. You fully intended it to look sensual. You stare at him with doe eyes as you take another sensual bite. Luke’s mind goes wild. He tries to compose himself, but all he can think about you and that piece of fruit.
Luke takes a deep breath and does his best to compose himself. It’s his turn now… His eyes slowly go over your figure, his eyes lock onto yours, his voice now low and sultry…
“I forgot to mention how stunning you look…” You blush at his words, thankful he didn’t reject your advances.
You return the compliment, “You don’t look half bad yourself.” Luke steps closer, your eyes stare at each other’s lips. The music gets louder, reminding both of you that your in a public area.
Luke takes your hand, “Would you like to take this somewhere private?” He asks hoping he isn’t being too forward. You find yourself nodding your head, desperate to take this elsewhere.
Luke leads you out of the ballroom, though he isn’t sure where he’s going, he finds an empty room. It seems to be an office or study room, is doesn’t matter which. It’s quiet and it’s empty.
Luke quickly turns his attention back to you, he hold both your hands. Neither of you are quite sure what to say. The two of you stand close, eyes staring into each other’s. Your faces move close, once again staring at his lips. You close your eyes and leaning in, gently placing a kiss on his lips.
You pull back slowly, determining his reaction. Luke quickly leans back in kissing you, his hands find their way to your waist keeping you close. The two of you kiss passionately, your fingers run through his hair to the back of his head.
Luke picks you up by your waist and sits you down on the desk, without breaking the kiss. His hands start caressing your arms feeling your soft, smooth skin. Luke couldn’t believe he was kissing someone as beautiful as you, meanwhile, you couldn’t believe that you actually seduced the handsome Jedi knight.
Luke moved his mouth from your lips to your jaw, slowly making his way down to your neck. You let out a slight gasp at the feeling of his lips on your neck. In retaliation, you unbutton his suit jacket and pull it off his arms with some help.
Luke continues his assault on your neck, trying to find your sweet spot. Your hands undo his tie when you gasp. Luke found where your neck is most sensitive, he begins to lightly suck the skin, just enough to gage your reaction. When you don’t stop him, he begins to suck harder, wanting to leave a deep purple bruise.
After he is satisfied with his work of art, Luke’s kisses begin to move further down, reaching your collarbone. His hands find the zipper on the back of your dress, “May I?” He asks before taking it off. You nod your head, “Yes,” you say in a hushed tone. Luke unzips your dress and slips it off your shoulders revealing your bare chest.
Luke’s eyes express what can only be describe as amazement, he couldn’t believe how beautiful you were. Your hands started fidgeting with his shirt buttons, Luke got the hint and took off his shirt revealing his toned chest. His years of training showed, and you appreciated the sight. Your desire for him grew, you couldn’t wait any long, and neither could he…
You slip your dress off the rest of your body, and Luke took off his belt and pants. The two of you were now desperate for each other. Luke’s hands caress the hem of your panties, “May I?” You nod your head.
“Please…” You say breathlessly. Luke pulls your panties off your legs, and caress your thighs. Your breathing becomes labored, you wanted him so bad. Luke’s hand wander to your pussy, running a finger along your folds.
“You’re so wet…” He comments. Finger finds your clit and circles it, his other hand finds your hole, slipping a finger inside. “So tight…” He whispers. You moan at the sensation, your hands grip whatever you can find.
Luke’s rubs your clit with his thumb while slipping another finger into you. He starts fingering you slowly, you already close to climax. “Faster, please.” You beg him for release, and he complies. His fingers work faster, curling at that right spot. You moan loudly, you feel the coil inside you snap. Luke works you through your orgasm, lengthening your bliss.
After you regain your senses you see Luke smiling at you with awe. You already know it’s going to be a long night…

Welcome Home
It’s been years since Luke last felt that presence through the force— something he didn’t think he would ever feel again, a feeling that always gets him weak in the knees; a feeling he has missed oh so much.
fem reader insert
Warnings: t*rture was implied once
A/N: hello, i hope you enjoyyy, i needed some luke lovin so. also this got quite long so i apologize for that and im planning on wiritng a sequel for this, to maybe fill in the blanks and stuff but other than that, i hope you enjoy!!!
“I don’t think I could ever get tired of this view. Sure, this planet’s boring and I’d do anything to get off this planet but it sure has it’s perks.” You sigh contentedly as you looked into the distance, watching the twin suns set. Luke chuckled as he looks over at you, smiling at you in awe. “I don’t think the sunsets are the only perks this planet has.” He chuckled before leaning in to leave a soft, lingering kiss on your cheek. You glance at him, a smirk resting on your lips. “Sure, the blue milk’s good too.” You chuckle, making Luke let out a hearty laugh. You felt your heart do somersaults in your chest at the sound, it definitely felt like music to your ears. You’ve been with this farmboy for quite some time now but he still made you feel all sorts of things.
“C’mere you.” Luke smiled as he pulled you closer to him. You immediately snuggled up to him, back against his chest as you both sat on the rocky hill. He wraps his arms protectively around you and places his chin on your shoulder as the two of you sat in silence for a few moments, going back to watching the setting suns. You reach up to lazily play with his hair, smiling when you feel him lean against your touch, snuggling into it. Your smile widened when you felt him leave another tender kiss on your neck, shuddering slightly at the feeling. “I hope you know how much you mean to me, my love.” He mumbled as he stayed there. “You’re the only one I’m holding onto to keep me from going insane, especially on this rock.” He added with a small laugh. “And I promise, one day, I’ll take you and we’ll explore the galaxy, watching every sunset together.” He added as he pulled away, prompting you to look up at him.
His bright blue eyes twinkled under the faint light of day, and when you thought they couldn’t get more beautiful, you were always proven wrong. You turned around in his hold slightly, giving you better access to his face as you reached up to remove a speck of sand from his cheek. He closes his eyes once again at your touch, something he does often and you found it oh so endearing. Your hand remained on his cheek as your thumb lazily caressed his skin. “I love you.” He whispers with a smile as you bring him down to plant a soft kiss on his lips. You smiled when you felt him tighten his hold around you. You pulled away and laughed when you saw his cheeks were now beet red.
“You’re doing it again, y’know.” You giggled. He tries hiding his shy smile as he pretends to not know what you were talking about. “Doing what?” He shrugs as he looks around. You blush every time we kiss.”
“I don’t.”
“You are, right now.”
“No I’m not. That’s just… sunburn.”
You let out another laugh. “Oh Skywalker, what am I going to do with you?”
His eyes connect with yours once more. “Love me forever.”
You smiled softly, “I can do that.”
Luke opened his eyes and immediately sat up at the sound of Artoo’s whistles. “Oh hey, Artoo.” Luke smiles faintly as he runs a hand down his face. “Yeah, I’m okay. Was just resting. Where’s Grogu? Is he asleep?” He asked as the droid began rolling away. “I’ll head back soon, I’ll just finish up here.” Luke said, smiling as Artoo replied with a series of beeps and whistles. When the droid was out of earshot, Luke lets out a sigh as his eyes focused on the sunset in front of him. He smiles faintly at the dream he had before looking at the empty spot beside him— your spot. “Oh, my love.” He calls out quietly as he lays back down onto the grass. “You would’ve loved this view.” He added as he looked beside him, as if you were there with him. “I’m so sorry.” He added quietly as a single tear trickled down his cheek.
It’s been years since he lost you. After the battle of Endor and when the Empire found out that you were force-sensitive, they made it a point to separate the two of you as their last try at taking down the Rebellion. He tried saving you— he did all he can but it was not enough. Presumed dead, Luke felt like his heart was ripped out of his chest, when he saw you laying there, lifeless. He wanted to run to you, hold you one last time but they had to go; he had to go. Han was pulling him into the Falcon before the Empire could get to them.
“Luke, go.”
“No, I’m not leaving you.” Luke hissed, the Skywalker stubbornness coming out. You shook your head, “I wasn’t asking. Luke— they want you not me. They get they’re hands on you, they win. We didn’t work and fight our asses off for them to win. You know that, more than anyone. We worked so hard to fight and we can’t let all that go.”
Luke shook his head, “No, there has to be another way.” You sighed as you took his face in between your hands. “You know there’s no other way, my love.” You smiled faintly as you examined his face, possibly for the last time ever. “We cannot let them win.” You said before leaning in to give him a passionate kiss. His hands snaked their way around your hips and pulled you close, as close as he possibly could. You felt his tongue swipe over your lower lip as your hand found its way to massage the back of his head. You didn’t want this to end, you wanted to stay in his arms forever. When you two pulled away, foreheads touching, you leaned in and gently rubbed your nose against his, him doing the same. “”I love you, Luke Skywalker. Now go be that Master Jedi we all need. I’m rooting for you. Always.” You smiled as you pulled away, tears threatening to spill form your eyes. He looked at you one last time as Han marched over. “Alright kids, as much as I don’t want to ruin this moment, we have to go. Now.”
You nodded. “Han, please take Luke. I’ll buy you some time.” You said as Han furrowed his brows. “Nuh-uh, you’re coming with us.” Han argued. “Han, I’m not playing games. Take Luke and go.” You ordered, voice firm. Han had become a big brother to you over the years. The brother you never had but always wanted. Sure, he was annoying but you were thankful for him anyways. You could see it in his face that he didn’t want to leave but he knew that this was what needed to be done. “Now go.” You ordered as you unhooked your lightsaber and igniting it. Han grabbed Luke’s arm and escorted him down the hallway.
Luke could remember it vividly. Like it was ingrained in his head forever. He remembers watching helplessly as you graciously sliced through Troopers and deflected their blasters, all on your own. The way you used the force so effortlessly is a sight he will never forget. Between the two of you, you were always the fast learner.
But then everything happened so fast. Luke was still trying to process everything happening around him when the explosion happened. He remembered stumbling forward as the floor shook. How Han was yelling for the rest of the rebels to fall back. Luke didn’t care if his ears rang or if he was bleeding, he was busy looking back to see if you were okay. When he did, his knees almost gave in when he saw you laying there, bruised and bloody. He screamed for you as Han dragged him into the Falcon. His heart broke into a million pieces as Han jumped into hyperdrive. He sat there, staring blankly as he felt like half of himself was taken away; and that's exactly what they did to him.
Luke now stared at the sky, littered with millions of stars, wishing you were right there with him, in his arms once again. Thinking of how much easier rebuilding a Jedi Order would be if you were by his side. He was deep in thought when the loud sound of a starship entered the atmosphere. He sat up and watched as an unfamiliar ship plummeted into the nearby forest. Luke jumped up onto his feet and ran toward the ship to investigate.
As he ducked under fallen trees, he could see the ship in the distance, enveloped in smoke. He carefully approached, lightsaber in hand as he used the force to search for any kind of life forms but felt...nothing. With brows furrowed, he holstered his saber before walking closer to the ship to examine. And that's when he felt it.
His eyes went wide when he felt the familiar presence, the same presence that gets his knees buckling and heart racing and swelling with so much love. Never in a million years did Luke ever think he would feel that again. "No, it can't be." He whispered to himself as he desperately looked around, looking for a familiar face; looking for you, the love of his life.
He turned around and was immediately tackled down, lightsaber inches away from his neck. Unfazed, he looks up at you and could not believe his eyes. There you were, on top of him, alive and breathing, holding a lightsaber dangerously close to his face. He watched as realization hit your face, and your eyes softened as you studied his face. "L-Luke?" You squeaked, immediately deactivating your saber. You got off of him, making him immediately sit up. The two of you sat there, staring at each other, trying to process what was happening.
And without another word, the two of you tackled each other, this time with a tight embrace. Luke immediately buried his face into your shoulder as he pulls you to sit on his lap, trembling slightly as he felt the emotions wash over him. He wrapped his arms tightly around your waist as you rested your chin on top of his head, holding as tight. Luke shook his head, trying to convince himself that this was not a dream but reality. "Maker, I missed you so much." You whispered into his hair as you left a kiss on top of his golden brown hair. He nodded, agreeing as he peppered your shoulder and neck with kisses. You smiled, tears now brimming your eyes as you pulled away to look at him one more time.
"You're alive. How? I don't understand. I saw you that day— If only I've known, I would have—" He started to ramble but was cut off as you crashed your lips onto his. You smiled when you felt him melt into you, hands gripping your waist tightly. You cupped his face, soaking up the feel of him. Your hand massaged the back of his head, gripping his hair ever so lightly, making him whimper in return. Your tongues danced effortlessly with each other as you held onto each other for dear life. In need of air, the two of you finally pulled away, foreheads resting against each other. Luke leans in and rubs his nose against yours lightly, making you giggle as tears now freely fall from the both of you. You pulled away and took the time to examine his face intently. You reach up to wipe a tear as it trickled down his cheek, smiling when you see him lean against you. 5 years have gone by since you've last seen him and although he grew a bit older and some things may have changed, he was still your beautiful, blue-eyed, whiny, blue milk loving farmboy.
He was the reason why you survived all those years with the Empire, the thought of him was what you held onto as they did unimaginable things to you, trying to convince you to join their side. You told yourself that on the day you two finally reunite, you would thank him for being the hope in a time of despair; the light in a time of darkness for you.
"Thank you." You whispered, leaving a soft kiss just above his ear. He shuddered before pulling away to look at you, brows furrowed, making you laugh. "For what, my love?" He asked, "There's nothing to thank me for. I... I failed to save you, to rescue you. I should've returned for you, if only I had known—" You playfully roll your eyes before kissing him to shut him up. "You've done enough, love. You've done so much, please believe me." You added, as you cupped his face once again, giving him a quick peck. The moon now stood high, perfectly hitting Luke's face, giving you a perfect view. "Luke, are you... blushing?" You asked with a smile and he immediately looks away. "No."
"Maker, you still blush when we kiss!" You tease, laughing as you two began to get up from the ground. "I am not! It's just—"
"Don't you dare say it's sunburn, Skywalker." You smiled, wincing as you stood up, the adrenaline beginning to die down and the pain coming back. "Also, you think you have bacta patches to spare? I think I'll need a kriff ton of em." You sighed as you felt that you still could not put any weight on your leg. Luke throws your arm over his shoulder as an arm slid around your waist, pulling you close to him. "Whatever you need, my starlight, I will give. Let me take care of you."
You looked at him, only to see him admiring you with so much love, no point in arguing. You nodded, leaning into him, letting him guide you back.
"Also, where are we?"
Luke smiled as he stopped in his tracks, making you look up at him. You could tell he was still in disbelief that you were right there with him again. Kriff, you were too. "Home. You're home." He continues as he brings a hand up to caress your cheek before leaning down to give you another passionate kiss. "Welcome home, my love." He whispered.
And he was right. You were home, because wherever Luke is, that's where home was.

I wish I was the one they sent to Ach-To
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fic describing the interaction between the Luke and the reader when they first arrive on the island. All I’ve seen is like, cut to after they’ve settled in.
I want to scale the faces of those jagged cliffs, my feet slipping over rocks as waves crash onto the shore below, urging me onwards to find him.
I want to stumble upon the cloaked figure meditating at the cliff’s edge.
I want that “Luke..?” as an air of recognition graces my expression, my eyes wandering his weathered face, rugged features framed by a scruffy beard and a mop of matted greying locks, until my gaze falls on those piercing blue eyes, devoid of any kindness or warmth they once held.

open fire | luke skywalker x reader
a/n: I’ve been going through my archive and trying to fix a lot of aesthetic and grammar errors in old posts (especially all the spelling errors my old laptop’s word processor didn’t catch), which includes needing to update this a little bit as a fic instead this imagine style it was in. I put it in the wrong post format before and couldn’t add a title when I tried to edit it.
So if this sounds familiar to you, it’s because this is essentially a repost with some revised bits that took it from 1.4K to 1.6K. :P
DO NOT REPOST MY WORK.
[gif not mine, found on google ages ago.]
summary: while being taken prisoner on Cloud City alongside Leia, Chewie, and Han, you get the bright idea to stage an escape.
warnings: fighting, blaster violence, this is before Luke and Leia realize they’re twins lmao and the reader misinterpreted their connection
word count: 1.6K
music: Ben’s Death and TIE Fighter Attack by John Williams
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You writhed in the harsh grip of the Stormtroopers as they ushered you down the marbled hall towards what you assumed would be your end. The more you fought to wrench yourself from their grasp, the more their gloved hands dug into your skin and wrinkled the fabric of your shirt. A few feet in front of you, a half dozen more troopers surrounded Princess Leia, leading your small procession toward the cells below the Cloud City palace.
As you grunted while trying to free yourself, you noticed Leia’s head turn to the side, her dark eyes trying to meet yours.
“Stop fighting them, (Y/n). Not here. The more you resist, the more they resort to less affable solutions.” As she uttered the word ‘affable’, her tone turned flout and she sneered at the trooper to her left. Leia’s reply halted your attempts, but in her warning, you caught onto her subtle plan.
Not here. Not yet, anyway.
You stopped fighting momentarily, allowing yourself to process the situation, to run through as many variables as you could. You looked at the troopers in front of you and surveyed their armor; where their guns were, where their armor didn’t quite cover their bodies, with which hands they grasped their weapons. Just above their boots was a break between their calves and their thighs; a window of opportunity. If you could swing your leg up far enough to your left, you could dead-leg the imp whose grip had agonized your arm and send him crashing into the trooper on your right.
“It’s alright, kid. We’ll get out of this, one way or another.” You heard Han add from some distance behind you. The breathy state of his voice revealed that he, too, had tried freeing himself from their clutches. He was eager to find a way to escape and get back to the Falcon. Preferably before you reached the Sith lord eagerly awaiting the arrival of his new prisoners—Darth Vader himself.
You were already planning on it.
As you rounded the corner, you noticed the shadows from the hall grow taller. They were taking you deeper within the city, further from exits, narrowing your chances. Your pulse hitched as you realized this. Adrenaline began coursing through you, quickening your heartbeat and making your skin clammy with sweat.
If you didn’t try now, when would you ever have another chance?
When you were locked away and looney from torture?
Without thinking, you swung your leg up and sent that very same Stormtrooper to the ground with a thud. Although his fall didn’t distract the other on your right enough to lessen his grip, that didn’t stop you. You spun around and yanked down the other’s arm, thrusting the gun from his grasp and kneeing him in the gap under his breastplate. He doubled over and fell on top of the first, his gun clattering onto the ground.
The commotion set in around you almost immediately; the shuffling of boots acclimated and the shouting of their voices through their mechanical helmets echoed around you.
“’Atta girl, (Y/n)! Wahoo!” You heard Han’s shout for victory as he followed suit, attacking his own captors where they were weakest. They fell to the ground in a gathering heap of plastic and metal. Leia did the same, although with much more ease than you had (she had obviously done this before).
The blood rushed to your head and your nerves made your hands tremor as your thrust yourself forward onto the ground for the blaster. As your fingers wrapped around the handle, you swung around and pulled down on the trigger, downing another trooper who had been inches from yanking you up into his chest plate. You fired again and again, in every direction that a suit of white armor moved.
Leia and Han began firing as well and within seconds you were the only three left standing in the corridor, but the relief did not come. Far down the hall, as if from every direction, boots thundered closer. You froze and looked frantically in every direction, unsure of where to go, unsure of which way lessened the chances of being shot…or worse, captured.
“This way!” Leia shouted, directing both of you back in the direction you had come from. Soon enough, the unsettling sounds of pursuit died away into the distance and a tentative silence fell. You looked to Leia for guidance, unsure of the wisest move. Should you make a mad dash for the ship? Or scheme your way out of the city with a cunning plan? Maybe crawl through the vents—could any of you even fit?
Suddenly, another burst of blasts were fired down the hall, their red light reflecting upon the walls. With this chaotic turn of events, you felt a sudden urge of bravery surge through you. You were just a pilot, a girl who could fly ships and fire blasters. But Leia—she was a princess on her way to becoming a general. She wasn’t expendable.
And in a sense, really, neither was Han. He was one of the best pilots in the galaxy and an important ally to the rebellion—and to the princess. With an honorable promotion coming his way, he was destined to do something great for the war effort. His brazen courage had caught the eye of the Rebellion and their leaders, meaning Han would be offered a vital position to serve to rebel forces.
You, on the other hand, were just a star-crossed girl with a fancy for flying ships and a love for the sound of whirring engines. A girl who’d barely seen conflict, who had hardly known the hardships of war. A girl madly in love with a boy sworn to keep himself from any form of attachments…
An image of Luke flashed in your mind, convicting you to act on it. If anything ever happened to Leia, it would crush him. Despite the twinge of jealousy in your heart, you couldn’t bear for Luke to lose the woman he loved. It would destroy him, just as knowing his love was for another was slowly destroying you.
“Han, get Leia out of here! You gotta get to the Falcon! Go through the air ducts!” You spit out orders, your voice breaking the pensive silence between you, accompanying the distant barrage of blaster-fire.
As you took a few steps away, Han gave you a quizzical look, while Leia opened her mouth to object.
“Just get out of here!” You shouted, turning on your heel and taking off down the corridor. You poised your blaster in front of your chest, ready to release a spray of cauterizing death to anything that moved. You could feel your heartbeat deafeningly in your head as your adrenaline surged, pulsing through your limbs like you’d been plugged into a circuit board.
When you rounded the corner, the red light of lasers had subsided somewhat. You stuck to the wall and pinned yourself behind a pillar, peeking out every few seconds. Where had those troopers gone? Why had they retreated so quickly? Sure, your plan was unexpected, but not enough to scare off a whole regiment.
Chancing, another glance around the corner, you hoped you’d find nothing more than a few corpses. To your disappointment, you saw the flash of movement around another doorway just across the hall, and the barrel of a blaster recede with it.
You sucked in your breath as if to hide your presence from the trooper for as long as you could; but what good would hiding do a this point? They knew you were there, they knew their prisoners had staged a mutiny.
Without further thought, you jumped out of concealment and opened fire, which ricocheted off the marble and flared down the hall, leaving scorch marks where it had collided. You kept firing, hoping for the stars to hit something and save Han and Leia’s skins.
The figure jumped behind the pillar with blurred haste, unwilling to risk being mutilated—even by a girl who was currently taking no aim but firing with gumption regardless.
When you felt you had done enough, you lunged back behind the pillar, hoping to dodge their retaliation. You knew better than to assume you’d downed them that quickly. Your chest heaved and you stood as still as you could against the cold wall, praying and hoping whoever, or whatever, got your hint.
Especially if it was another imperial.
You held your blaster to your chest once again, the barrel pointed upwards.
You were ready to open fire once more when the shadow of a figure cascaded by your feet. You stuck your blaster forwards and let out a gasp of air, frightened and unsure of yourself, but no less brave.
One bright flare had left the barrel but never met the mark. It was not the sight before you that halted your finger from crushing the trigger again, but a force of pressure on your muscles that made your entire body freeze against your will. The one blast you had managed to fire hung suspended and burning in the air for a grueling second before it crashed into the adjacent wall, crackling against the smooth stone.
“(Y/n), it’s me! Don’t shoot!” A boyish voice barked.
When you took in the figure’s features, your body relaxed, however, your heart refused to calm its rapid pace. His hand was suspended in the air, his ability to use the Force the only thing having saved him from being shot. His sandy blonde hair was all too familiar, as well as his wonderfully blue eyes.
“Luke?”

ONE  TWO  THREE  FIVE SIX
Summary; The murder of their beloved king at the hands of the evil Empire has inspired open revolt on Mon Cala! Thanks to a timely counterattack by Admiral Ackbar as well as the heroics of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, (Y/n) (L/n), and Han Solo, the Mon Calamari’s powerful fleet now stands ready to fight for peace and justice with the Rebel Alliance. Armed with new ships and new allies, the Rebellion is finally poised to take back the galaxy from the Empire in earnest. But the Rebels also owe their recent victory to Queen Trios of Shu-Torun and her defection to their cause. But Trios may have plans of her own...
THIS IS NOT EDITED
Pulling the yellow jacket tighter around your shoulders, you pinch your nose and lean forward, the droid in front still sitting with its arms crossed.
“Okay,” you huff, turning to Threepio, “Tell them ‘I’ll throw in the droid if I get 10 percent off.’”
Han chokes on a laugh, leaning back in his chair, bringing the empty cup up to his lips to hide his smile.
“Oh, Madam! You can’t be serious!” Threepio cries, looking between you and Han.
“Oh yeah, of course, she’s joking.”
The cantina has a dark atmosphere, with different droids and creatures littering the area by themselves, nursing a cold drink.
“No Alaphani worth the name would give us 10 percent off just for a droid. Tell them the deal’s good,” Han whispers to you and Threepio, uncrossing his leg and setting the cup back on the metal table.
“Certainly, sir,” Threepio sounds much happier at not being sold for transponder codes. As he talks to the droid, his voice changes to a different register as he effortlessly translates the sentence.
The Alphani sitting across from you was a sentient droid-type creature, you didn’t know where the beast ended, and the droid began, the switch almost indistinguishable. With small blue eyes that peek out from a thin sliver of gray skin, large blocky teeth, and long skinny fingers, you couldn’t help the involuntary shivers that ran down your spine each time it spoke. It reminded you too much of the droid-creatures from Jedha- except those actually scared you and could potentially kill you if you spoke wrong.
Chewie makes his way to the table, barking at Han with frantic eyes and waving hands.
“What’s up, Chewie?” Han asks, finger twirling the cup on its rim slowly. Your once hot drink had gone cold after the deal almost took a turn for the worst.
Hans’ face drops, and he turns to give you a look of concern. Threepio twisted his head frantically to look around the cantina.
Sometimes, you really needed to invest in learning shyriiwook.
“Bounty hunters?! Where-”
“Don’t say it so loud!” Han hisses, reaching over you to slam a hand onto Threepio's mouth.
Chewie nods his head lightly over his shoulder, and you have to lean slightly into Hans’ side to see the two bounty hunters that just entered the cantina.
“Oh, maker- why now?” You say softly, turning to Threepio with furrowed eyebrows.
“Tell him good doing business with him, or whatever the equivalent is in alaphani.”
“Okay, let’s get to the Falcon, yeah?” Han pushed away from the table, straightening out his vest and looking down at you. Threepio nods, “certainly, madam.”
Reaching down to your belt, you grab the small leather pouch tied next to your holster, its contents clinking lightly as you set it on the table, opening it and fishing out the required credits.
When Threepio turns back to you, you expect him to say anything but, “That’s ‘our regurgitated mouth mucus proved easy to mix.’”
Cringing, you provide a strained smile at the creature, grabbing the small device from its hand before standing, clearing your throat as you glance once more at the bounty hunters.
You wait until Threepio is standing before nodding to Han, both of you dashing towards the exit, the other two close behind. There’s a small smile on your lips as you exit the door, unclipping your blaster and pressing your body against the wall next to the door, Han opposite to you with Chewie and Threepio behind him.
Cocking your blaster, you can hear the faint scatter of feet, and the door swings open, both bounty hunters stumbling out. Holding out your blaster, you rest its barrel against the closest hunter's head, smirking. Han mirroring your actions with the other.
“Hi,” you say lightly, catching the hunters’ eyes flickering to you.
“My droid will look after your weapons,” Han hisses, Threepio wobbling forwards to take the rifles, mumbling under his breath how ‘I would never do this with Artoo- what would he say now?’
The stinging smell of lingering garbage makes your eyes water, and the dark sky doesn't help with navigating your way back to the Falcon, both hunters are left at the cantina’s door, weaponless. The transponder code’s cartridge sits in your pocket, your blaster still in hand as you walk beside Han.
“Tell Jabba I’m good for it, he’ll get his money! I swear!” Han yells over his shoulder, huffing under his breath as Chewie lowers the entrance ramp.
“It’s getting too risky,” you grumble, hearing Chewie bark from the cockpit. Han waves his hand, looking over the weapons that sit on the small round table in front of the curved couch.
“Once, we’re done here- I’ll pay off Jabba, and you’ll be able to stop worrying.”
“Han- you do realize that I’m wanted now too, right? Being seen with you put my name right next to yours on Jabba’s kill list, whatever stalling we do now, it’s going to come and kick us both in the rear,” you move past him, holstering your blaster and walking into the cockpit, Han hot on your heels.
“You think I don't know that? You didn’t have to come, I didn’t ask you to!”
“I know!” You shout, throwing yourself into your seat, “but I thought it was just a smuggle to Alderaan! I didn’t anticipate being dragged into all this rebel shit, but now I can’t just leave!”
Han rolls his eyes, “you can leave anytime you want- you just don't wanna leave.”
Chewie barks once more, and Han finally throws his hands up in surrender.
“Chewie, stop complaining, we’re not missing the party! Do you really think Leia would let us near the fancy brass, anyway?”
“Speak for yourself,” you grumble, throwing your leg over the armrest of your seat.
“Better we do what we’re good at,” Han sighs, rubbing his forehead, “and I’ve got a contact who’ll pay top credits for that prime collection of fresh transponder codes.”
“You’re welcome, by the way,” you say, smirking once more. Reaching into your pocket, you let the device fall into Hans’ waiting hand, his eyes looking it over before nodding once, sitting down in his seat.
“We’re missing Luke’s show,” your voice is soft, picking at your nails. Han sighs, glancing at Chewie, preparing the Flacon for departure.
“Oh yeah. Luke’s thing. Yeah, you got me there, I’d have liked to have seen that too.”
Threepio makes his way into the cockpit, sitting himself down next to you and clipping himself in.
“Did you want to see Luke’s show too, Threepio?”
His head turns to you, “It would’ve been a delight, madam. I’m afraid Artoo will be quite angry with me for missing his big debut on stage.”
“Ugh,” you groan, letting your head fall back, “Tunga’s rubbed off on you too much.”
Closing your eyes, you can feel the Falcon lift into the air, the floor vibrating above the engine.
“Do you think Luke is freaking out?” You ask, smiling softly. The entire time you were here, you wondered about him, and a small part of you hoped he was wondering about you too. Leia gave you a sad smile before you left, Luke upset that you were tagging along with Han. Why can't you stay? He asked you, blue eyes pleading. Stay, for me- and the show! Han is fine by himself!
The familiar lurch into hyperspace made your eyes flicker open, watching the stars extend slowly. Han leans back in his seat, rubbing his eyes harshly.
“You look like a lovesick puppy,” you comment, watching his shoulders tense, slowly turning to look at you.
“I do not, I am not a lovesick puppy.”
There's a brief pause, your quiet laughing filtering through the air.
“If anyone is a lovesick puppy, it's you,” he grumbles, turning back to the control panel.
For once, you don’t respond, you don't quip back in a snarky remark, or deny the accusation. But the silence slowly eats away at you, consuming the last bit of unacknowledged longing for the blonde.
“Yeah,” you sit up, stretching your back, “I can’t seem to get Leia off my mind.”
Han ignores you but scoffs. Chewie growled out something to Han while turning to the large wall next to him, overlooking the Falcon’s statistics.
“Yeah, Chewie, you never know. Luke’s thing may have been delayed. Maybe we can still watch-”
The Falcon drops out of hyperspace, still a distance away from the Mako-to base. But that isn’t what makes your heart stop, stomach-dropping to your feet.
It's the two Star Destroyers, accompanied by the biggest Imperial Star ship you’ve ever seen. From your vision on the back, the giant ship had twelve thrusters, wings spanning the size of three to four regular Star Destroyers.
You almost fall out of your seat when you get up to stand in between Chewie and Han, who had fallen silent at the sight.
“The show,” Han mutters, eyebrows furrowing. Chewie growls once more, tilting his head.
“You said it, Chewie.”
Threepio stands from his seat, trying his best to squeeze in next to you.
“Perhaps this is some manner of wargame, Sir? A Symbolic display for the dignitaries?”
Han scoffs, tossing a glare to the droid, “This ain’t no wargame, goldenrod! This is the most Imperials I’ve ever seen.”
“See if you can signal the base, contact anyone,” you say softly, giving the droid a small smile.
“See any way in?” You ask, narrowing your eyes at the fleet. Han sighs harshly, shrugging his shoulders as he taps the glass screen of the radar, clicking his tongue.
“Unless we get in contact with the base, there's no way she can make it through-”
“Oh, Threepio. Am I glad to hear you! Is Han there? (Y/n)? We need to-”
Leia’s voice was rushed over the com in Threepio’s hand, frantic as she speaks your names.
“We’re here, Leia!” You call, smiling.
“Slow down, Princess. Tell us what's going on-”
“Han! (Y/n)! Trios betrayed us. She disabled all the rebel cruisers just before dispersal.”
Sharing a look with Han, you turn back to look over the Navi-computer, going back over your previous coordinates to see if you were followed or not. The last thing the rebellion needed was a band of bounty hunters or even more Imperial Starships.
“They’re defenseless, immobile, and can’t launch fighters. We're trying to work out what we can do,” You hear Leia sigh softly, probably glancing at someone by her, “docking doors are sealed, but their proximities still work. If a ship flies at the bay door, it’ll open.”
You almost laugh, but swallow it, turning to call over your shoulder, “Just tell them to fly at the doors!”
“Their comms are also down. We can’t. We need someone to go and tell them.”
Han scoffs again, “wait- are you seriously asking me to go in there by myself, against the whole fleet, and then fly at a sealed docking door that may or may not open?”
“Han, this is the hour of need. If there-”
“Hey!” he snaps, rolling his shoulders as he shifts in his seat, “save the speech for someone who falls for that kind of thing. I’m on it.”
The Star Destroyers were firing at one of the Mon Cala ships now, green lasers hitting the deflector shield. Han flicked off the comm, cursing under his breath.
“This had better impress her.”
“Ha!” you laugh, pointing a finger at him, “you do like her!”
“I never said that!- You know, this isn't the time. Chewie, get to the guns, top turret.”
Chewie barks, getting up from his seat and ruffling your hair as he passes.
“Okay, (Y/n), get the shields, yeah? Goldy, don't touch anything.”
You sit down in Chewie's seat, smirking at Han as you flick on the shields, grabbing the controls and swinging it into place.
“You don't have to be mean, Han. Threepio,” you call softly, turning to smile at him, “Buckle up, Han is a terrible pilot.”
“I really don't need your side comments,” he grumbled, glaring at you.
“I’m just trying to lighten the mood, you’re terrible at it.”
“Will you just keep the shields up and balanced? If we stay close enough to a Star Destroyer, they’re not going to be able to hit us.”
Hitting the accelerator, he flies close to a Destroyer, pressing down on the turret and fires at the surface.
“We need fighters on us-”
Chewie roars from his spot, voice crackling through the comms, Han smiling as he shifts in his seat once more, pulling up harshly to avoid the highest part of the Star Destroyer. The radar begins beeping, blaring a high-pitched alarm as Tie fighters begin to tail. Cursing, you aim the shield, groaning at the pull the ship gives.
“Yeah, I see them. Perfect.”
“Remind me why we’re happy we have Tie’s on our ass?”
“If we’ve got fighters, the big guys won't fire. Too much risk in hitting their own ships,” he replies, looking at the radar before steering right and begins flying toward one of the cruisers.
“I hope,” he adds quietly, “So, now we can make a run for the nearest rebel cruiser.”
You can hear the top turret firing, most of the Tie’s in front being shot down as you came closer to one of the cruisers. Chewie barked once more, causing Han to scoff and yank the steering close to him, the ship diving above the tie that was once below you, letting Chewie effectively shoot it down.
“Kriff! A warning next time!” You yelp, holding onto the arm of the chair as your gut is glued to the floor.
“Oh, you’re fine,” he comments, rolling his shoulders once more.
“That gave us a few seconds before turbolasers open up again.”
Smiling, you glance away from the deflector shield, looking at Han, “Let’s get this over with, yeah?”
As you begin to get close enough to the cruiser to land, Han smirks, “the princess better be ri-”
He’s cut off, a blow hitting right below the Falcon’s back thruster, the ship diving nose-first below the Rebel cruiser, the ship rocking violently. Yelping, you spin in Chewie’s chair and look over the control panel, cursing.
“The stabilizers burning!”
“Reset the manual- Gotta pull out-” He strains, trying to gain control of the ship. Your head swims, hands flying out in muscle memory to reset, clenching your eyes shut as the space continued to spin. It wasn’t until the ship finally balanced out that you sighed in relief, Threepio still crying out, “We’re doomed!”
Chewie roars, his voice worried, “Yeah, whoever it was came outta nowhere,” Han calls back, looking over the radar.
“Who the hell can fly like that?” you say softly, turning the chair back around to scour the radar, trying to pinpoint where the mystery ship was. You could hear Chewie firing, his barks, and roars echoing through the Falcon.
“Whoever he is, he’s good,” Han grumbles, eyes flickering across the control panel, “but this move should lose him.”
Han begins flying erratically, diving around Star Destroyers, but the Tie doesn’t lose sight.
“I do believe he’s still on our tail, sir.”
He scoffs, “just be quiet back there, I’ll handle the flying.”
Another sharp turn, kissing his teeth, “Chewie! Hit him already!”
You don't understand why Chewie roars back, but it makes Han tense.
“Okay,” Threepio hums, voice tight, “let's not panic.”
“Why would I panic? It’s only Darth Vader.”
“Vader?!” You yelp, turning to stare at him, “We have Vader on our tail and we’re not going to panic?”
“Sir, Madam, I believe by your demeanor you are both somewhat panicked.”
“Are you a med droid now?” Han snaps back, “Just hold on.”
“I’ve been holding on, you idiot.”
“I’m going to bring us in fast. As long as our transponder is singing rebel, those bay doors will open right up,” He says, steering the ship towards the cruiser once more. Chewie’s voice crackles through his headset, and Han scoffs.
“I know going in at this speed is dangerous. But I’ll tell you what's more dangerous; Being out here with Darth Vader!”
Pushing harder on the accelerator, Han grumbles under his breath words you can’t make out. A red light flickers on the radar, and when you lean down to look at it, your stomach drops.
“Han, missiles inbound- you might wanna go faster-”
“I know!”
You don't remember the last time Han’s pushed the Falcon this far. The bay doors close in faster than you thought they would, and at the last second, han yells out, pulling up on the joystick to dodge the incoming missiles from Vader. The bottom of the Falcon jolts against the side of the cruiser, alarms blaring as part of the ship was torn.
“Kriff!” You yelp, trying not to fall out of your seat, eyes flickering over the control wall to gauge where the damage was.
“Oh, the poor people,” Threepio sighs, his metal hand on your shoulder. Raising an eyebrow, you turn back and look out into space, jaw-dropping slightly.
One of the Mon Cala ships were evacuating, and the surrounding Tie’s were taking the opportunity to shoot down any escape pod they came across, the ship going up in flames. It exploded seconds after the hull was hit, some of the escape pods even being consumed by the fire.
“Yeah. But right now? We’re all poor people,” Han sighs, leaning back in his seat, sweat beading on his forehead. When did it get so hot in here?
“Wait, that could work-”
“Han, please don’t tell me-”
“Chewie!” He yells, “Get down here! You’re never going to hit him. I’ve got an idea.”
You can feel Chewie’s hand press against your shoulder, his body leaning over his chair to look at Han, who was still looking at the ablaze Mon Cala ship.
Threepio lifts a hand, “Sir, I’m unsure what your plan could be. We need to pass Princess Leia’s message to the cruiser, but if we can’t get close enough to land how can-”
“That’s Vader,” Han seethes, “He’s never going to let us get close. But if we can’t land, maybe we can send a messenger? We need someone to tell them the bay doors work and you just need to fly at them,” he turns to look at Threepio, “you up for that?”
Groaning, you slouch in the chair, rubbing your eyes roughly.
“Of course!” Threepio agrees, his voice loud, “it would be my honor! But I’m not sure how I-”
“Great.” Han quips back, “Get the droid to a pod, Chewie.”
Growling, Chewie lifts Threepio, throwing him over his furry shoulder and walking out of the cockpit, Threepio trying to talk to Han on the way.
“Okay,” you say, sitting up in the seat again when another jolt rocks the ship, the Falcon wouldn’t last much longer if Vader kept firing.
“I’m assuming we need a distraction? There’s no way Threepio’ll make it without being blown to bits.”
Sighing, Han tilts his head to look at the Mon Cala ship, your gut twisting.
“Not my first choice, but it might be our only one.”
“That’s how we die, you idiot,” you seethe, glaring at him. Shrugging, he looks back at you with a sad smirk.
“I’ve been blockade running since I got my own ship,” he steers the ship towards the cloud of fire, intimidating and screaming ‘death wish! Do not enter!’ “This isn't any different.”
“This is very different- this isn't the Kessel run!”
Ignoring you, the Falcon flies straight into the cloud. Immediately, the glass was covered with fire, small rocks, and debris hitting against the glass.
“There’s no way Vader can follow us through this.”
Feeling sweat begin beading on your forehead, you clutch onto the arms of your chair, wincing when a particularly large piece of debris hit the side of the ship.
Han was speaking softly under his breath, eyebrows scrunched in concentration with his knuckles turning white as he gripped onto the controls. The radar was blaring with different alarms, but the large red outline of Vaders ship was growing further from your path, Han making one last sharp turn before breaking out of the cloud, Vader nowhere to be found.
“Yes!” Han cries, leaning back in his seat to press onto the comms, smiling lightly.
“Okay, we’ve got a little distance on Vader. Now see if we can use it. Ready, Chewie?”
Chewie roars back over the comms, Threepio’s voice quiet in the background.
“If he finds an airlock, goldenrod will be able to tell ‘em about the doors.”
A small light on the panel began blinking, Han reaching forwards to hover a finger over it, “Okay, on my mark. Three, two, one and-” he presses down, and the Falcon rumbles for a moment before the airlock hisses, releasing the escape pod towards the Rebel cruiser.
You hoped it didn’t take long for Threepio to get inside and relay over the information. Han continued to tilt his head to look at the cruiser, and Chewie managed to lean between the both of you, not shooing you from his seat but instead ruffling your hair in a sort of comfort when the hull of the Falcon once again groaned under the blaster shots Vader delt.
It wasn’t until the first X-wing left the bay doors that you slouched and sighed in relief. You hoped it was Luke that flew out first, he was always the bravest out of your group. Always volunteering to go first when something dangerous came up, or when it came to heading out into battle against the Empire.
There's more groaning and hissing from the Falcon, and the control panel begins you begin sparking, the engines going into overdrive. Smoke begins to seep into the cockpit, and you get up to allow Chewie to sit and begin tending to the Falcon. Flying behind the fleet of X-wings, Han settles the Falcon into the middle of the group.
Cursing, Han grabs the headset, “Falcon to all of,” he pauses, glancing at Chewie who grumbles lightly, Han’s eyebrows shooting up, “‘Rogue squadron’? Really?” Han scoffs, looking back at you when you lightly slap his shoulder, “Listen, you can’t stay out here. Nuzzle up against the destroyers. Take it from a smuggler- this always works.”
Chewie barks, motioning around the control panel, Han covers the mic of the headset, leaning in close to the Wookiee, “Hey- I figure they don’t need to know the odds, either.”
“That's just false hope, Han,” you grumble, watching the control panel begin smoking. He shrugs, more flashing lights flickering in front of him.
“Any hope is worth it. At least, that’s what the princess would say.”
“Han,” Luke’s voice breaks out over the coms, your chest squeezing, “the Falcon barely looks like it’s in one piece, what happened?”
Han chuckles, “Darth Vader happened. Keep your eyes open. He’s out there somewhere.”
“Fire from the capital ships is dropping off. Just the ties to worry about. Nice work, Flacon.” Wedge’s voice pipes up.
Luke laughs, “Yeah, nice work, Admiral Solo.”
Laughing, you slap his shoulder again, seeing him tense.
“Make another joke like that, kid, and next time I won't come back to bail you out.”
More X-wings deviate from the group to shoot down more ties, the destroyer you were hugging was being shot at with missiles, and most of the on-deck turrets going up in flames.
“What’s next?”
“We need to spread the word to the fleet that they can still launch their fighters. Then we can have some company out here.”
Wedge’s voice cuts back in, “the entire fleet? Their comms are down and we can’t land on them all, they’ll pick us off if we split up.”
There's a pause, Luke humming lowly, “Maybe we don’t have to.”
Hearing a loud hissing from the main hull, you leave the cockpit in quick steps to look around, seeing thick black smoke coming in front of the back of the ship, near the escape pods. The ceiling was black, flames licking into the hallway as the wires sparked.
“Uh- Han?!” You yell, not knowing what to do at the moment.
“Yeah?”
“We have a problem back here! We need to land the Falcon, now!”
The ship rocked violently, your feet almost sliding from under you, almost sending you straight under the fire. Turning, you rush back to the cockpit, smoke almost completely filling the tight space.
“She hasn’t looked like this since the Kessel run,” Han grumbles, rubbing a hand on the controls, “hold together, baby, just a little longer.”
“Han, I don't think the baby has a little longer.”
Beginning to fly closer to the cruiser, you leave the cockpit once more to survey the rest of the ship, pinpointing the damages for when you inevitably had to repair her. That was when the ship rocked again, violently. It threw you off of your feet, side slamming into the wall, right into sparking wires. It burned through your tunic, pressing into your skin. Crying out, you push yourself away from the wires, the ship continuing the rock until you were flat against the roof, hearing Han and Chewie arguing from the cockpit.
Feeling your side throbbing, you try and touch the wound, but when you actually do, you pull away from your hand harshly at the stinging sensation that seemed to bite down into your muscles.
You don’t know when the Falcon came to a complete halt, but you do remember Han lifting you from the ground while asking a bunch of questions, his hands holding your face while Chewie assessed your side.
“I’m fine!” You cry out, pushing them both away. Han limps when he manages to pull himself out of the Falcon, Chewie helping you out behind him. The pain flares up your side, but you push it to the back of your mind, instead of focusing on the people that run around the hanger, a few x-wings left behind.
“Get me anything with wings! I gotta get back out there,” Han says, his voice wavering.
“Han- wait,” you say, following him down the side of the Falcon- or the bottom since the entire ship was laying upside down.
He doesn’t reply, rushing towards the hanger’s exit and into the room with flight suits. He picks out one of the bright orange jumpsuits, trying his best to put it on over his tunic and pants. Looking at the array of suits, you pick one out that would seem to fit. Wincing when you outstretched your arm, skin pulling against your burn.
“What are you doing?”
Han’s looking at you with furrowed eyebrows and tight shoulders. In his hand is his vest, scrunched up as his knuckles turn white.
“You don’t think you’re going out there alone, right?” You say, pushing your legs through the scratchy fabric. Scoffing, he reaches out to grab your arm, “No, you’re going to the med-wing, you think I’m gonna let you go out there with, what, second-degree burns on your side?”
“I don’t think it’s your decision if I’m allowed to fly or not,” you hiss, pulling the fabric over your shoulders, zipping up the front. The white vest was next, pulling it on your shoulders and reaching to grab the small black computer that latched to the front.
“I’m older than you!”
“That doesn't mean jack-shit! Can we go now? We’re losing time,” you push past him, walking back to the hanger and to one of the only X-wings left.
“(Y/n)!” Han yells, jogging to catch up to you. Shaking your head, you climb the ladder and settle down in the pilot's seat. Chewie roars, hand settling on the nose of the ship. Han is on the ladder behind you, staring at you as you fumble slightly with the helmet.
“I don’t wanna hear it! Luke needs us,” you bite the inside of your cheek, “the fleet needs us, now will you please drop this until we get back? Feel free to lecture me then.”
Sighing, he brings a hand up to rub his eyes, glaring at you before descending the ladder, passing by a frantic Chewie to get into his own X-wing.
“I know! I know!”
The cockpit of the X-wing was claustrophobic. The joystick is positioned right between your knees, with the radar in the middle of the control panel. There were power diverters to the weapons, engines, and shields. With the hyperspace jump charge, the radar, aim assist, and engine restart, you found yourself overwhelmed.
Reaching forwards, you flip the small line of switches at the top of the panel, the engine coming to life, the comm inside your helmet coming to life, the radar showing static before the light green screen becomes clear.
Grabbing the joystick, you pull lightly against it, feeling the ship rise, the engine humming. The wings haven't expanded yet, the small switch still idle in front of you.
“Luke,” Han’s voice breaks into your helmet. It sounds like he’s right next to you, filling your helmet loudly. “The Falcon is fried. We’re in an X-wing. Coming out now.”
There is another roar from the hanger, and you smile at how worried Chewie sounds.
“Yeah, Chewie. Don’t worry. We’ll be back. I’ve gone through worse scrapes than this.”
There's a moment of silence, smiling at Han when his X-wing hovers beside yours, before Luke’s voice floods your helmet, your heart lurching.
“Good to have you, Han- wait, did you say ‘we’?”
Another pause, and you smirk, “Hi there, blondie, miss me?”
“So, can you fly just about everything?” Wedge cuts in, a smile in his voice. You don't see it, but Luke’s smiling, cheeks pink at the nickname you dubbed him a while ago.
“Careful, Wedge, she’ll outfly you any day,” Han teases, looking over at you.
Shaking your head, you flip the switch for the wings, feeling the vibration crawl through your body as the wings separate into two, more systems turning on for the dog fight you were about to fly into.
When you fly out onto the battlefield, your radar immediately begins to blink with enemy bogies, Tie, and Y-wings flying all around you. X-wings and Y-wings defend the remaining Mon Cala fleet ships that have failing shields.
You manage to stay close to Han when you come across Luke’s ship, little R2’s head spinning at the sight of both of you. You aren’t able to count the amount of Tie’s you’ve shot down. The X-wing under your hands doesn’t seem to want to cooperate, but then you remember that no X-wing can be tamed. The joystick fights against you but never disobeys. The blaster fire you send towards Tie’s sometimes miss, but after cursing and fixing your aim, you can shoot them down.
“Luke!” Han’s voice strains, “A lucky pilot slipped past me. He’s coming your way.”
“Oh no,” You muse, flying back into formation next to Han, “A pilot getting past you?”
You can see the Tie on the radar, flying erratically to miss the remains of Han’s blaster fire.
“Don’t worry, Han. I’m on them!”
There's a moment of stillness, you and Han watching as Luke catches up to them, but hesitates. The Tie doesn't evade the targeting system Luke uses, and it doesn’t try to get behind any of you to retaliate fire.
“This feels wrong. Artoo, are the scanners picking up anything strange about it? No answer? Great.”
“Maybe they’re shy,” you joke, Han swallowing his laugh.
“You know, Luke. Put aside the fact they’re not shooting at us. They’re not even flying like an academy-trained pilot.” There's another Tie ahead of it, and it doesn't hesitate in shooting it down. Not firing at you, but one of its own? That's unheard of for the Empire unless they suddenly decided halfway into their mission to join the rebellion.
“I don't think Tie pilots do that,” You say, keeping an eye on your radar for any Tie that might come in behind you.
“Whoever it is, they’re on our side, I just know it. Rogue squadron! Form up on me and protect this Tie fighter. Wherever it's going? We get them there.”
“This is potentially a bad idea, what if they’re just trying to trick us?” You try and reason, but Luke had already made up his mind, and you knew that you couldn’t change it.
“I just have a feeling, just trust me, please.”
The Tie changes course. Instead of flying out into dead space, it turns, flying straight towards a Mon Cala ship.
“(Y/n)! Han! I need help, I think it's trying to land- but the bay doors won't open without a rebel transponder. We need to keep the doors open. Form up behind the Tie, tightly.”
Biting the inside of your cheek, you form up next to Han, following behind Luke and the Tie straight towards the Ship.
“Yeah, yeah. I know the drill.”
Smiling, you check the radar again, “If we don't keep it open, that tie’ll just ram straight into the doors.”
“And this will have been a whole lot of effort for nothing,” Han grumbled. When you check the radar again, you almost shout, “Luke! Look out! They’re above!”
“I have to stay on target!”
You don't break formation, watching the Tie from above move into battle formations, shooting at your group. You want to defend Luke, to defend Han, but you stay in place, following behind the Tie.
A blaster shot manages to hit the back of Lukes’ ship, almost taking out R2, but before they could take any other shots, the bay doors begin to open. The Tie’s immediately back off, probably thinking more X-wings were going to emerge and take them all out. The Tie crashes unceremoniously in the hanger, parts of the wings breaking off. The top hatch opens and Leia’s form pops out quickly, holding up something small in her hand.
Landing between Han and Luke, you ignore the flaring pain in your side and rush to the burning X-wing, R2 whistling and beeping from his spot. The canopy opens, and Luke slides off his helmet with pink cheeks and furrowed brows.
“Luke!” You yell, hauling yourself up the side to grab at his arms, hands running over the orange jumpsuit to find any injuries. When your hands finally rest on his face, you let your lips downturn into a frown, “you okay? Nothing hurt?”
“I- big shock, but I’ll be fine,” his voice soft, until his eyes flicker to Leia, his attention directed away from you.
“Leia! It was you?! How did you get over to the huge ship-”
“The executor,” she interrupts, voice closer. When you climb down from the ship, you push past a flabbergasted Han, wrapping the princess in a hug.
“Thanks for not shooting me,” she says, pulling away, letting her arm rest around your waist. You ignore the stinging pain, opting for a wince that you hide in her shoulder.
“Yeah, lucky Luke talked me out of it. Another few seconds and I would’ve blaster you,” Han throws an arm around Luke, who smacks it away with a small smile.
“Oh stop it, I’m just glad you made it.”
When looking over her shoulder, you spot Threepio, sporting only the upper half of his body.
“Threepio! Glad you made it.”
“Hello, Madam. I made it, but at the expense of my legs. Thankfully, master Meorti helped stop my wires from sparking.”
Meorti, who was sitting at the terminal, was waving her hand to your group, beckoning you all over. Leia is the first one over, watching over Meorti’s shoulder as she slides in the small chip Leia gave her. With Han at your side, Luke managed to peer over your shoulder at the computer screen, his hand on your lower back so he didn’t startle you.
“All Systems operational,” Meorti says, smiling.
Leia turns, wrapping her arms around Han, smiling brightly at him. You can feel Lukes’ arms wrap around you from behind, lifting you lightly into the air before setting you down. Your side burns. The pain seemed to be cranked up tenfold, throbbing down your hip and up into your shoulder. Luke’s hug made you think of it again, hot tears fill your eyes, and you just hope the others think it's from happiness.
The ship lurches into hyperspace, but you don't notice, not like you do when in the Falcon. You’re too busy trying to swallow the pain, turning and grabbing onto Han’s arm. You wished Chewie was here, he would carry you to the med bay, maybe ruffle your hair while you get a bacta treatment.
When you grab onto Hans’ arm, he drops the once happy smile and grips your shoulders, speaking to you softly, like you’re a kid that just got stung by a bee.
“Hey- hey, you okay?”
“I’m fine,” you reassure, but he can see through you, he always could.
“We have to get you-”
“No, Han, please. I’m fine.”
Leia and Luke disappeared somewhere, their bright smiles gone, giving you no distraction. Han was still talking lowly to you, his voice barely managing to cut over the loud celebration of everyone since jumping to hyperspace.
“This isn’t like that blaster graze- you’re seriously hurt,” he says, hands lifting your face to force you to look at him.
“What are you,” you smirk, “my father?”
“Don’t try to change the subject-”
“Han! (Y/n)!” Leia calls, waving from the small crowd that was gathered. Luke was behind her but was talking to the rest of the remaining pilots. When she finally makes it back over to you both, she has a strained smile and worried eyes.
“General Dodonna gave us the okay on a counterattack to get the rest of the fleet out- we have some ships to take so we can relay the information, but it’ll be dangerous.”
“Count me in, what's the plan?” Han’s full attention was back on Leia, but his arm still grasped onto your bicep, keeping you in place.
“You’ll lead the transports to the fleet, and General Dodonna will create a distraction so you can safely pass through hyperspace. Rogue squadron will help defend the ships, you’ll lead. It’s the best we can come up with, with how low our resources are right now-”
“No, its doable,” you cut in, swallowing the lump in your throat and pushing the mission to the forefront of your mind.
She looks at you then, eyes flickering across your orange suit before her lips thin into a line, eyebrows furrowing.
“You got hurt, didn’t you?”
Han almost laughs, “glad you noticed!”
“I’m fine,” defending yourself, you try to smack away his arm, but his grip tightens.
“You can stay in the transport with me and Luke, I don’t think you should be flying.”
“I was literally just flying, this is nonsense, you both sound like my parents,” you grumble, almost throwing your hands up in surrender when Luke appears at Hans’ side, eyebrows furrowed.
“Who shouldn’t be flying?”
“Your girl here has a burnt side-”
“(Y/n)’s hurt? When did she get hurt?”
“Like I was saying, she refuses to get medical-”
“Shouldn’t we take her to the medwing?”
“Will you let me finish?!” Han hisses, glaring at the blonde. “I won't let her get back in an X-wing, so she either stays here or goes with you two.”
“Will you stop talking like I’m not here?” Yanking your arm away from Han, you rub at the skin, narrowing your eyes at the three. “I’m fine to fly, this isn’t that bad. But if it makes you all shut up, then I’ll stay with Luke and Leia.”
You didn’t fight it when you were dragged into the small transport Luke and Leia would be flying. But you do grab Han harshly by the sleeve, pulling him down to glare at him.
“I swear to the maker, Han, if you die or do some funky flying shit- I’ll literally kill you.”
“I don’t think you’ll be able to kill me if I’m already dead,” he snarks, smiling.
“I’ll do some shit with the force and bring you back, just to kill you again.”
Luke laughs lightly from his seat, turning his upper body, “That's not how the Force works!”
“Tough shit, Skywalker!” You retort, pushing Han away harshly before narrowing your eyes at him, “I mean it.”
“Yeah, yeah, don't worry about me.”
By the time the transports made it into the air, you were slowly dozing off in the back, legs outstretched in front of you while succumbing to the throbbing pain in your side.
You knew Han was leading the pack, and that your transport was towards the back, but you kept your eyes closed, silently hoping that Han wouldn’t do anything stupid and that Leia and Luke would be safe pilots.
When dropping out of hyperspace, you groan lightly at the jolt, Hans's voice loudly crackles over the speakers.
“Han to Rogue Squadron. These little transports are defenseless. Form up on each one, and escort them to the cruisers.” Artoo beeped, and Luke sighed, “Be nice to Han! This is just one mission. I’ll be back flying with you soon.”
Leia shifted in her seat, hands gripping the controls, “I thought Threepio was the neurotic one, Luke.”
Smiling, you finally sit up, stretching your arms, “they equal each other out, I thought you knew.”
She chuckles, sarcasm dripping from her lips as she glances back, her eyebrows raised, “You’re constantly around Luke, of course, you knew.”
From your position on the floor, you can see the red and green lasers crisscrossing over each other, all trying to land a hit on enemy fighters. Amidst it, was the fleet's main ship, shields down and taking on fire.
“Leia to Mako-Ta base. Can you hear me, Mon Mothma?”
There is a pause, before her scarily calm voice breaks through, “I hear you, Leia. What news?”
Brown eyes flicker back to watch the fleet, and Lukes’ flicker down to the radar, narrowing at the green screen, “Get all ambassadors ready to board, there’s enough room on here to save them all. We’re coming in to dock.”
“Woah,” you whistle, “he-”
“Look out!” Luke shouts, diving the transport harshly to the side, causing your body to almost roll across the space.
“There’s a Tie fighter coming right at-” Luke cuts himself off, and Leia's smile tells you what you need to know.
“Nice shooting, Han,” she says.
“Nice flying, princess.”
“Oh, god,” you groan, pushing yourself off of the floor to lean in between their seats, “please don't flirt in front of me, it's sickening.”
The large bay doors open in front of your transport, and Leia manages to land softly, the ambassadors already filing into the room, Mon Mothma leading.
Reaching forwards, you go to open the ramp, but Luke moves to do the same, your hands bumping just as you reach it.
“Sorry-” he says softly, briefly glancing up at you before jumping out of his seat, hand brushing through his hair as he retreats out and into the hanger, greeting Mon Mothma first.
“What’s wrong with him?” You ask, looking over at Leia, who had a small smile on her face.
“What, you don't know?”
Your eyebrows furrow, “know what?”
“Maker,” she groans, standing from her seat, “you’re both helpless.”
When her figure retreats down the ramp, you pause for a few seconds, repeating what she said over and over.
“Helpless?” you scoff, grumbling under your breath as you finally leave the transport, smiling softly at Mon Mothma, red hair perfectly styled, with her matching red lipstick free of any smudges. Even in a battle zone, Mon Mothma is calm and content.
The Ambassadors behind her seem the complete opposite, all oozing with fear and anxiety. So, you turn and lightly place your hand on one of their shoulders, nudging them to start boarding the transport.
“If the ambassadors can escape, we can keep the rebellion alive. This is absolutely crucial,” Mon Mothma sighs, her hands extending towards Leia, who stood tall.
“As is saving you, Mon. Get aboard, the ships are all about to go into hyperspace.”
Smiling, Luke rests one foot on the ramp, leaning his head down to speak into the Comm still attached to his flight suit, “you hear that, Han? Get ready to jump.”
But he doesn’t respond.
“Han? Can you hear me?” Luke tries again, shoulders tensing. Your smile drops, standing close to the blonde. It felt like a lifetime before Han finally responded, but there was static underneath his voice, which already sounded wrong.
“Yeah, I’m here. Engine’s gone -- failing. Artoo i-- giving it his best shot, -- nothing is working. Get --ut of here, kid. Make sure the Princess-- -ows what a brave guy I am, right? You-” His voice finally breaks off, static left in his place. Your body goes numb, the only resemblance of life left is the dull thrum of pain.
“He’s floating out there,” Leia says softly, her voice tight. Your lungs refuse to intake air, head fuzzy at the thought of Han free-floating, attached to nothing, with no one but a droid he doesn’t even like that much.
You don’t notice, but your feet are already moving, lips forming words you don’t think about, “I’m going back for him.”
“No-” Luke strains, grabbing your hand tightly, pulling you back.
“I can’t leave him out there! There has to be something-”
Leia snaps her fingers, “wait, on Jedha, Han had an Idea. This is on a different scale, but if we can find a ship-”
Mon Mothma raises her hands, lips thin as she addresses your small group, “the main transport is ready to leave, you need to board.”
A sick feeling pools in your gut, and you almost sneer at her, “I’m not leaving him.”
Luke’s hand loosens, but he doesn’t let go. His thumb rubbed over your knuckles almost absentmindedly.
“Just go, Mon.” Leia rushes, “We have to try and save Han.”
The older smiles softly, “be careful.” She gestures behind you all. When you turn, you almost laugh at the large docking ship, already pulling Luke along to climb aboard. Leia boards last, and Threepio already talking about the survivability of dead space in her arms.
You manage to push Luke out of the pilot's seat, pausing to assess the controls before turning the large ship on, getting it off the ground, and glancing to the smaller transport before opening the hanger doors, flying out into the battle once more.
Hitting the accelerator, Leia and Luke both curse as their hands fly out to find purchase on anything around them. Finally spotting Hans’ free-floating X-wing, your hands find purchase on the magnetic ship clip’s button, and fumble to turn on the comms.
“Han, Brace!”
You press down onto the button, and when your ship flies over his, the magnet connects with the back of the X-wing, towing him along. Ahead, there were incoming Tie’s.
“Retracting the line now,” you grumble, glaring at the radar, multiple bogies appearing on the edges. The ship was getting heavy fire to the back, and you can hear Leia fight to stand up again, “It's getting rough, we need to jump!”
“Hyperspace, hyperspace,” you mumble, eyes flickering all over the control panel before finding the lever, a small blue bar on the side already alight and ready for the jump. Grabbing the lever, you yank it down hard, feeling the engines humming before the jolt to hyperspace sends the two behind you to the ground again, Threepio crying out as he fell from his chair.
The system's diagnostic appears on a small screen near the radar, with red flashing lights and yellow caution signs already blinking. You curse under your breath, “engines are fried. We won't be going much further.” Blindly waving at the two still recovering from the ground, “find me a moon!”
You finally find solace on a small, deserted, and rocky moon, Corosi 7. Sitting beside Han, with your feet resting across his lap, you finally feel some kind of relief. With Luke and Leia sitting on Hans’ other side. Leia was hard at work, trying to forge a solid communication with eh rebellion.
“Hey!” she says, “We’ve got a transmission from Mothma.”
Taking your feet from Hans’ lap, you both lean into the small hologram of Mon Mothma, a deep frown on her face.
“I have only moments. We all must disperse. We are in a more perilous situation than ever.”
Han scoffs, “Then get a move on. Tell us where Ackbar is so I can get back to Chewie and the Falcon.”
The hologram glimmers, her hands resting at her sides, “If I knew, I couldn't broadcast it. And right now? I simply don't know. Total secrecy was the point of the dispersal.”
“I’m sorry, Mon,” Leia sighs, “We failed. It’s all our fault.”
“It is not the time for apologies. We have more important business. Leia Organa: You are now a general. Luke Skywalker: You are now a commander. (Y/n) (L/n): You are now a Colonel. Han Solo: You are now a Colonel.”
“We’re being promoted?” You ask, a choked laugh breaking out at the end, gaze breaking from the chancellor to look at the others. She doesn’t mind, but she directs her gaze to you.
“The rebellion command has been decimated. Every candidate of quality needs to step forward.”
Han steps towards her, hand waving, “Hey, Mothy. I’m not going to be a colonel in any organization.”
“I understand. But it doesn’t matter if you take the position, Solo. You are a leader, rank or not.”
His hand moves to cover his mouth, speaking through it, “you don’t know what you’re talking about, lady.”
“So,” you ask softly, hand grabbing softly at Leia’s arm, “what are we supposed to do now?”
“Leia and Luke are your leaders. They get to make that decision now. Disperse. Hide. Organize. Strike. We must find our way to one another. We must find new ways to hurt the Empire,” she smiles then, eyebrows raising as she tilts her head lightly, “Good luck.”
When her hologram flickers off, you finally slouch back into your chair, rubbing harshly at your eyes. Your side still hurt, and you knew that if you didn’t have it looked at soon, it would only get worse.
“How can we find Chewie and the Falcon?” Luke asks softly, leaning against the side of your chair, crossing his arms as he stares at the ground. Leia shrugs, slouching into the chair next to you while Han walked off, eyebrows furrowed.
“I’m not sure we could even get there if we knew. This ship isn’t going much farther. How are we going to get anywhere?”
You can hear shuffling, until Han hums lowly, spinning around with the small chip you managed to buy before all of the chaos.
“If we can get one more jump out of this pile of scrap, I may have an idea.”
Nar Shaddaa was the last place you expected to go, but when seeing the all too familiar ship barely out of sight, you put the puzzle piece together. You, Luke, and Han all took off the bright orange flight suits, and Leia managed to wrangle you into the cramped onboard med bay to wrap your side. Her eyebrows were furrowed, and she continuously asked if you were okay when putting on the soaked bacta patched, thoroughly covering the wound before wrapping it in bright white gauze.
Now, you walked beside Luke down the hanger bay, yellow dust clouding over the ground as Han led the group into one of the more remote walkways, Sana waiting patiently in her green cloak and tan leather gloves.
“Hey, sorry I’m late. I got dragged into the thing to end all things. Bounty hunters jumping us were the last of our problems.” Han reaches around his belt, unclasping the leather pouch and pulling out the small silver chip, “here’s the data I picked up from the Ring of Kafrene for you.”
Sana pulled out her own leather pouch, handing it over, “and here’s your fee.”
You can’t see Hans’ look. But from the way Sana’s small smile drops from her face, eyebrow-raising with a mischievous glint in her eye, you only sigh.
“Wait, I know that look. What do you want, Solo?”
R2 wheels in behind Luke, Threepio strapped to his back as he complained about not being able to see anything, you feel Luke's hand lightly touch your lower back, “is this a good idea?” He asks softly, leaning in close to your ear.
“I trust Sana, she wouldn’t turn us in.”
“If you’re in a smuggling mood, we’ve got some precious cargo that needs transporting,” Han’s voice is back to a confident, cocky, tone. One hand grabs his belt while leaning his weight onto one foot, “namely, us. We’ve had Imperial complications,” he trails off, waving his hand around.
Sana, already smiling, closes her eyes as she shakes her head. Taking a step back to face her ship again, “I can't believe I’m this soft. Get aboard.”
You didn’t know where Sana was planning to go to hide your group, but you trusted her enough to keep you safe. While sitting in the cargo hold of her ship, Han and Leia are already in the cockpit talking with Sana about coordinates and flight paths, you stayed with Luke. Sitting by his side, you found yourself more tired than before. The blonde had already fallen asleep, arms crossed while his head rested on your shoulder, lightly snoring as his foot tapped against yours.
You knew that you would stick by his side, and keep him safe, already coming to terms with the fact that you would cross the galaxy if he called for you. Sure, you’d do the same for Han and Leia any day, or night. But with Luke, it felt different.
You just hoped he would do the same for you.

star wars boys and having to share a bed with you? 🙌
i feel like some fluff is needed after all the angst lately icl (this is like in a pre-established relationship scenario <3)
includes din, poe, finn, han, luke & obi-wan
the mandalorian/din djarin
sharing a bed with din is like being in the safest place in the world. he absolutely has to be the one to be closest to the door and more often than not, he'll wrap his entire body around yours both out of affection and protection. if he's comfy enough to share a bed with you, it sort of feels axiomatic that he's comfy enough to sleep with the armour off too, but in the earlier stages of your relationship you might have to deal with it being on all the time. after a while, though, it'll be shed before he gets into bed. din is an incredibly warm person so it's always pretty toasty too, even without him acting like a human blanket. his favourite way to sleep is with his back pressed to yours, arms looped around your front and legs tangled together.
poe dameron
poe is a cuddler. there's no two ways of going about it and it's not exclusive to you either - actually, there's a reason that most his colleagues want two beds on a stakeout, as opposed to being dragged into dameron's arms against their will at nighttime. obviously, you mind a lot less than them - it's something you come to struggle sleeping without, actually - but just expect for him to always be holding you. even if you move to the other side of bed and jut your limbs out, the man is still gonna find a way to pull you back into his arms. his favourite way to sleep is facing you, head buried underneath your chin, one arm underneath you and the other over you.
finn
finn spent most of his life sleeping in tiny military cots in the first order, so when you first share a bed it's like sleeping next to a corpse that simply will not move. so, in the early stages of your relationship you sort of have to work yourself around him but the more he gets used to it, the more receptive he is to being touchy at night. he's generally quite light with his touches - usually just a hand on your hip or his head on your shoulder - but when one of you has been away for a while or life is a little tense, he definitely becomes clingier.
han solo
han solo manspreads at night. he hanspreads. you could have a kingsize bed and he could take up 99% of it. it makes sharing a bed with him difficult at first but the closer you become, the closer he likes to be at you tonight. after that, the problem is not so much sleeping around han as it is avoiding han at night, because you normally wake up to find that his entire torso is on top of you, or he's managed to slip underneath you is now your mattress.
luke skywalker
luke is susceptible to nightmares after the fall of the empire, and sleeping close to you is what helps soothe him. it's something he can't avoid if you're apart but if you're sleeping together, he has to be close to you in someway; maybe just a hand holding yours or even your legs touching, anything for him to know that you're there. you can normally tell when his nightmares are worse, or when he's feeling low, because he'll sleep closer to you and hold you a little tighter.
obi-wan kenobi
obi-wan is the heaviest sleeper you will ever meet, so the position that you go to sleep in has to be one that you're okay to stay in til he wakes up. he's self-aware so he's quite light with his touches at night - more often than not, he just sleeps beside you with a hand resting on the side of your leg, hip, or arm - but there have been times when he's wrenched you closer to him in his sleep. good luck if you need a wee.

Homecoming
Tumblr media
Pairing: Luke Skywalker x F!Jedi!Reader   Summary: Although you're skilled in the ways of the Force and use that to your advantage in your medbay job, you always thought Luke Skywalker would be the one rescuing you, not the other way around. Warnings: reader gets shot with a blaster in the arm and leg, but injuries are not described in detail. Canon-typical violence. Reader has been separated from their family at age 10, but kept what exactly happened to them vague for self insert purposes. A/N:  "Remnants" is a series of one shots in no particular order about the budding relationship between you and Luke as he trains you in the ways of the Force. Remnants!Reader and Luke's first meeting. This is my first fic in a while and my first time writing action, so please bear with me! Hoping to get back into writing more frequently now. Comments and reblogs are greatly appreciated and my Remnants masterlist can be found linked in my pinned post on my blog! Enjoy!
**
“Careful,” you said as you helped yet another rebel soldier onto the transport heading back to Home One, where you were typically stationed in medbay. But today, someone needed to be on the ground to give first aid to any critically wounded soldiers so they could survive the trip back to base—and that someone had been you. Not out of any obligation. But something felt like it had been pulling you to the dusty plains on-planet, and you were never one to refuse a call from the Force.
A nearby explosion made you jump as the soldier ducked into the small ship. The pilot leaned out the door to shout over the racket, “You coming back as well?”
“I—” There it was again: the pull from this morning. The world stilled as you instinctively let yourself sink further into the Force. Time slowed and you were aware of all the souls on the battlefield, felt their fear, helplessness, rage, as particles of dirt and dust flew everywhere. They seemed to whiz by in slow motion so that you could see every facet of the tiny pieces of debris and in the middle of all the chaos, one particularly powerful presence about to knock on death’s door. They were close and felt different from the others—easier to grasp and hold onto. You’d felt this presence at rebel functions and on Home One before, and just like every time before, it somehow reached back until you were intertwined inexplicably before everything suddenly snapped back.
“Um, hello?” the pilot waved his hand in front of your face. “You coming back or not?”
You blinked. “Sorry. No, I’m staying here.”
“This may be the last transport for a while.”
You felt the presence reach out to you again like a soft hand smoothing over your shoulder and shook your head. “No, I’m staying.”
Another boom and several screams echoed in the distance as he shrugged. “Your funeral.”
You barely waited for the ship’s door to close before tightening the strap of your medical bag and sprinting towards the source of the connection, trying to keep it as steady as possible through the Force. Of course, the one day you left your grandfather’s old lightsaber in your quarters was the day you might need it. Typically, it came with you everywhere, but it was left behind in your rush to play field doctor. Your parents had taught you what they knew of the Force before you’d been separated from them at age 10 and your savior and adoptive father, an old clone that had somehow escaped conversion during the Purge and joined the rebellion named Rex, took over your combat training.
You weaved between the alleyways of abandoned stone houses in pursuit of your goal, hiding behind fallen objects and receiving cover from your comrades as Stormtroopers continued their assault. Although the emperor and Darth Vader were dead and the empire was fractured, small remnants remained here and there, trying to reorganize and reclaim power through their moffs’ and superior officers’ orders.
A blaster shot grazed past your shoulder enough to tear through your jacket. You hissed through your teeth, but otherwise ignored it. The feeling of the presence reaching out through the Force, like a soft hand on your shoulder, came again. The touch was just as gentle, but came with a new sense of urgency, and you quickened your pace as the sounds of battle continued to ring around you.
The presence grew in strength as you reached the end of the maze the neighborhood created. Just as you began to slow your pace so as not to run straight into a crossfire, a Stormtrooper jumped out from behind a nearby dumpster and pulled you down with him. You both writhed on the ground as he wrapped an arm around your neck and his legs around yours, boxing you in. You began rocking your body violently in an attempt to free yourself, managing to free an arm in just enough time to move his blaster away from your neck. He fired just as you moved, getting you at close range right in the calf. You cried out in pain, taking a deep breath before bringing your head forward, then whipping it back as hard as you could.
You winced as the trooper cried out, but didn’t indulge the pounding in your head as his arms fell to his sides. You stood, grabbing his blaster out of his hand and bringing the butt down hard on his helmet. He grunted before going limp. You nudged his foot with yours and when he didn’t move, held tight to the blaster and crouched by the opening to the plain ahead.
Several crashed ships, dumpsters, and debris were scattered over the dirt with a large circle of Stormtroopers and Darktroopers nearby. The presence felt so close that you knew your quarry was in trouble in the middle of it. But this was away from the main fight, and the only other rebels that had been here before were all either unconscious or dead on the ground.
A mechanical beeping nearby caught your attention and you looked just in time to see a Darktrooper round a fallen x-wing. You barely scrambled inside the lid of an overturned dumpster before it began shooting at you. You heard it thunk closer and held your blaster close to your chest. Another softer, more timid set of beeps and whistles sounded just in front of you. You jumped, pointing your blaster toward the sound only to find a little blue astromech wobbling on its legs in front of you.
You breathed a sigh of relief as the Darktrooper continued to descend. You could feel the shots of its blaster shaking the dumpster and leaving searing holes you did your best to avoid. Turning to the astromech, you whispered, “You go around back and electrocute him while I distract him?”
The droid chirped before whizzing out of the dumpster, hugging the side closely. The Darktrooper was close enough now that you could hear the whirring of its ankle joints. You took a deep breath through your nose and blew it slowly out your mouth before squaring your shoulders and whipping around the corner, blaster at the ready.
The imperial droid was barely inches from you as you raised your blaster toward its head. Before it could adjust its aim to shoot you, blue electricity engulfed its frame and it twitched and shook. You scampered back several steps as its head spun in circles, watching it fall to the ground with a solid thud to reveal the astromech. It chirped and beeped cheerfully before wiggling back and forth.
You gave it a small smile and pat on the head. “Good work, buddy—whoa, hey.” A small claw shot out of the droid’s side and grabbed onto your jacket, slowly pulling you towards the x-wing and closer to the circle of imperials.
“Is your master in that circle?”
The droid wiggled his body in what could’ve been a nod, but a Stormtrooper turned to face you before you could reach cover. “Hey! Over there!”
You cursed before diving behind the x-wing as the droid squealed in terror and sped after you. The ship provided decent cover for the moment as blaster shots rained down on you (and some even went far past you; typical Stormtroopers, but you weren’t complaining).
“How are we gonna get out of this one?” you grumbled before peering around the x-wing.
You groaned and pulled back as something small caught the sun's light and blinded you. You risked another look and saw a small, silver cylinder only a few feet away from you in the dirt: a lightsaber. You frowned. It certainly wasn’t yours. And the only other person you knew of in the rebellion who owned a lightsaber was—
Oh. Oh. Now you definitely had to save him.
You turned to the droid beside you. “So that makes you R2?”
The astromech whirred excitedly and if the situation wasn’t so dire, you would’ve laughed at how it seemed proud and excited to be recognized.
You glanced at the lightsaber on the ground again and saw half of the imperials coming towards you while the other half stayed closely huddled around a figure clad in black. Two Darktroopers kept a firm grip on his arms, twisting them behind his back before forcing him to his knees. You made eye contact and felt him reach for you again through the Force, this time with an urgent, unspoken plea to run while you still could.
Closing your eyes, you tuned out R2’s urgent whistles to sink into the calming nature of the Force. You could feel the man’s presence even more clearly now and felt his fear—not for himself, but for you. Not just surprise, but a sort of awe and relief rolled through him in waves at finding someone who he could not only reach for, but who could reach back. You sensed he’d lived his whole life as if he was invisible in the Force and could watch the goings on, but never join. It was like constantly waving at passersby and having all hope squashed of someone ever waving back—until now. He seemed so elated to find someone like him that you were sure it affected his ability to withhold these strong feelings from your connection. You hadn’t even been properly introduced, but he was already cherishing your connection—and fearing whether you would survive long enough to be introduced.
Focus. You honed in on the world around you and time again seemed to slow to a crawl. You locked all your concentration on the weapon in front of you, feeling the Dark and Stormtroopers’ feet move ever closer until they were only a few steps away from what might be your only saving grace. Grab the lightsaber! you thought you heard one shout.
You remembered the Jedi phrase your parents taught you. “I am one with the Force and the Force is with me.” Taking one final deep breath, you let your hand leave the cover of the x-wing to reach towards Luke Skywalker’s weapon.
R2 let out a started beep as the lightsaber zipped into your hand and you ignited the green blade. You took a split second to admire the detail on the hilt before slinging the blaster’s strap over your arm and stepping out into the fray.
You easily batted the blaster fire away—just as you’d practiced for years with Rex and your grandfather’s lightsaber. Several of the shots successfully deflected into the troopers, sending them sprawling on the ground. R2 carefully zipped around the battlefield and incapacitated as many Darktroopers as possible, leaving you a clear shot to Luke.
You slung the blaster off your shoulder and threw it as hard as you could, using the Force to guide the weapon onward. Dust that had kicked up from the fight made it hard to see, but you could sense precisely where everything was through the Force and used it as your guide. You slingshot the gun into the heads of the Darktroopers who were holding Luke hard enough to make them stumble and let go. He took his opportunity and grabbed the gun from where it fell as you continued to deflect fire and cut through armor and mechanics alike.
Although you’d gotten plenty of Force training from your parents, which you’d continued via your grandfather’s journal after you’d been separated, and combat training from Rex, you’d never been in the thick of battle like this before. At least not fighting. You had shot and killed several Stormtroopers before, but always from a distance. Never like this—never close enough to hear their hiss of breath as they fell or the mechanical whirring of a Darktrooper malfunctioning. It was anxiety, relief, and guilt all at once, as well as anger toward the people who had made this conflict necessary in the first place.
Again, you felt a cooling, calming presence wash over you, reminding you that everything would be all right, and you reached back just as gently, even as you both saw to the enemy. The green saber in your hands slashed through the closest Darktrooper, cleaving it straight in two before a low, mechanical growl sounded behind you. You spun, unsure if you could raise your defense in time, but a sudden blaster shot clean through the head rendered it useless. You stepped out of the way as it crashed to the ground.
You urgently looked around, adrenaline pumping wildly, before realizing the only sound you could hear nearby was your own heavy breathing. All the troopers lay scattered on the ground around you with no more in sight who could pose a threat. You sheathed the saber’s blade, taking comfort in the soft whoosh it made, before closing your eyes and focusing on your breathing. In the sudden silence, a steady wind whistled across the plain. By force of habit, you reached out to check that Rex was safe and finally let yourself fully relax when you sensed that he was.
The familiar presence reached out to you again, this time from just in front of you. Although this battle wasn’t the first time you’d sensed it, you’d never had a chance to feel just how strong and solid it was. It was light like air, but somehow also steady and unwavering, with a twinge of darkness but a steadfast choice not to give into it. Even though you’d just now really met, it had the comforting sense of coming home to an old friend and it was hard not to already feel a level of affection for him because of it. You could feel his affection and curiosity flowing back to you in equal measure. It made you almost afraid to open your eyes in case this homecoming within the Force was all a dream and would melt away.
A warm, rough surface brushing against the back of your hand forced you to finally look. The hero of the rebellion stood in front of you, his fingers gently brushing the hand still holding his lightsaber. His eyes were even more blue than the sky above you, but somehow the icy color still held a warmth and concern unlike any you’d ever seen. He made himself so open and after all the stories about what he’d lost and how many imperials he killed, it was shocking in a way that made you want to protect him at all costs. His face, although worn and scarred, held so much depth and kindness and you wondered what kind of hell he’d gone through to come through war with so much love to give still—and you could sense exactly how much he still had in him through your bond, and how excited he was to maybe share some of that with the first Force-sensitive person his age. There was a weight to him, but it somehow felt settled, as if he’d accepted himself as he was and the heaviness as just another part of him. His signature held a bittersweet taste: half melancholy, half hope for a better future.
It didn’t help your gawking that he was strikingly handsome—strong jaw with a jacket and pants that fit him like a glove and showed off his toned physique. Not to mention the actual glove on his right hand and the fact that he’d made sure to touch you with the uncovered one for skin-to-skin contact. The wind brushed his brown hair over his forehead and you couldn’t help but notice how tan his skin was and how calloused his hands were. You thought you remembered whisperings of the rebellion’s Boy Wonder who blew up the Death Star starting out as a clueless moisture farmer from Tatooine, but got too lost in the planes of his face to focus.
“Are you all right?” he asked softly, his hand still gently brushing yours and pulling you back to the present.
“Yeah,” you breathed out, surprised to sense him having a similar struggle through the Force. “Here’s your lightsaber back.”
He took it from your hand, letting his fingers linger against yours for what felt like a deliberately long moment before reattaching it to his belt. “Thank you for the help.”
“You seemed like you could use a rescue.”
He smiled and you had to remind yourself to breathe at the sight. “Yes, I got a bit caught off guard with the sheer number of them.”
R2 suddenly whirred and rolled over to stand by his master’s side, beeping excitedly. You both chuckled at his antics as Luke put a comforting hand on his dome. “I’m Luke—”
“Skywalker,” you finished. “I know.”
You regretted saying anything as he gave a stilted nod, suddenly bashful and very interested in his shoes.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to—”
“It’s all right.” He met your eyes again and gave you a small smile. “You work in medbay, right? You’re Y/N?”
You tried your best to hide your elation that Luke Skywalker knew who you were, but he undoubtedly picked up on it through the Force. “Yeah, I was on field doctor duty today, but…felt you and that you needed help.”
“I felt you too…” he paused, seeming unsure, before continuing. “I think I’ve felt you several times throughout the war, actually, but could never put a finger on exactly what I was feeling. I guess I never realized another Force-sensitive would feel different to me than someone who isn’t—minus my masters, of course.” He hesitated again. “It…feels good to find someone else who knows the ways of the Force.”
Now it was your turn to inspect your shoes bashfully. “Yeah, it does for me, too.” As you felt the last of the adrenaline leave your body and your eyes landed on the blaster wound on your leg, pain suddenly came pounding to the surface, as did the graze on your shoulder. You weren’t sure how you’d managed to fight as well as you did with injuries, but adrenaline could be a funny thing. The burning, however, was not so funny.
“Are you hurt?” Luke asked, closing the distance between you and gently touching your intact shoulder. You could feel fear stab through to color his Force signature as he frowned, following your eyes to your leg and wincing.
“I’m all right—”
“Anywhere else?”
You sighed, somehow knowing you’d be unable to lie to him. “A shot grazed my arm, but I’m okay—”
“Here, um—” He paused as he looked around. “Where’s somewhere you can sit…”
R2 tittered as he dragged an overturned wooden crate over with his retractable claw.
“Thanks, buddy,” you said as you flopped down harder than you meant to, moving your medical bag to sit on the ground next to you. You opened the flap and began to dig, but Luke’s hands, which dwarfed your own, stopped you.
“Please, let me—unless you’d prefer to do it?”
His blue eyes were pleading as he stared up from where he’d crouched in front of you, leaving you unsure how anyone could say no to him. “Um, no, if you want to…” You gestured awkwardly to your bag. “Do you need me to talk you through it?”
He chuckled. “Oh no, I’ve had to do this for myself many times—I mean, you work in medbay though, so of course, if you’d prefer—”
“Um, no, you can go ahead.”
“You are the expert, I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine.”
You both stared awkwardly at each other for a moment before laughing and quickly looking elsewhere. As he dug through your supplies, you could see a slight pink tinting his cheeks, filing the image away deep in your mind. The fact that you, of all people, had made him blush felt like something to be proud of.
As he cleaned and bandaged your leg and arm (you didn’t think it warranted a bandage, but he insisted), you told each other of your upbringings, stories from your time in the rebellion, and even sat there for several minutes after the dressings were completed to talk about hobbies and music preferences before your wrist comm beeped.
“All right there, soldier?” Rex’s voice floated through the speakers.
“Yeah,” you answered back. “Minor injuries, but I’m fine. I’m with Commander Skywalker and R2-D2.”
“Skywalker?” Rex asked, his voice cracking slightly.
“Y-yeah?” You frowned at Luke, but he simply shrugged, looking just as confused.
Rex cleared his throat. “Ah, well, good. The final transport just landed for stragglers. Can you make it here, or need us to come pick you up?”
“I think I’m good to walk.”
Luke gave you a look and although you realized you were looking at your superior, you couldn’t help pulling a face, using your forefinger to pull the tip of your nose up to show him just what you thought of that. He snorted and seemed surprised by the sound that came out of his own mouth, turning his head to smother his laugh as Rex gave you the coordinates.
“We should be there in 10-15 minutes tops.”
“Copy that, kiddo. See you soon.”
R2 twittered next to you.
Luke chuckled. “He says you can ride him back to the ship if you want.”
You smiled, but shook your head. “It’s not too bad. I’ll be fine, but thanks, R2.”
Luke helped you stand, keeping his hands on your upper arms to steady you.
You swallowed nervously. “I know you technically are a commander, so sorry if any of that,” you gestured vaguely towards where you’d been sitting, “was, um, out of line or anything.”
Luke’s face fell and he shook his head, rubbing your arms gently. “No, no, please. We’re Jedi. We have to stick together. There’s no rank here.”
“Well, I mean, I’m not technically a Jedi.”
“I could teach you if you’d like. It seems like you have some to teach me as well.”
You smiled and nodded. “I’d like that.”
He sighed in relief, as if he thought you might refuse. “Promise you’ll lean on me if your leg gets to be too much on the way back?”
You nodded, hoping you didn’t appear too smitten as he stayed close and kept a hand on the small of your back the entire walk back to the ship.

A spooky stillness reigns on the giant light cruiser, even the dark troopers pause for a moment. Even though you sneak around, the droids’ sensors pick up your presence with ease. The silence vanishes just as quickly as it appeared as the troopers line up their blasters and start firing at you.
Your years of training have specialized you for these kinds of moments, which is why it is not difficult for you to take out the droids one by one with a targeted and well-considered movement of your glowing blade. You decapitate one of them, the heavy head banging on the hard floor, while another one sneaks up on you from behind. As a result of its actions, a green lightsaber is rammed through its upper body from behind in the next second. The red light behind the lifeless eyes extinguishes and the droid collapses, smoke emanating from the inside.
Quickly, you raise your own lightsaber in front of your body, allowing you to deflect the blaster fire from the dark troopers who have not yet fallen. Again and again, you block their attacks and direct the dangerous projectiles in the other direction. Shortly, you catch a glimpse of one of the surveillance cameras mounted in the upper corner of the ceiling before it is destroyed by a deflected shot.
You know you are being watched.
Together and as a team, it does not take long until you have fought your way through the entire cruiser, through almost all enemy troops, and are now close to your final destination. The Force that called you here is incredibly strong, even stronger than you expected. And you can clearly feel it.
“Y/N!”, your name echoes through the battle as you pound one of the troopers against the wall with a flying ammo box, crushing it motionless. “This way.”
Disposing of your last opponent by severing its mechanical arms and legs, you extinguish your lightsaber blade and follow Luke into an elevator, adjusting the hood of your cloak that has slightly slipped during combat. You stand closely next to him, breathing heavily and trying to control your breathing, while the fight did not bother Luke at all. Which is pretty unfair considering how many dark troopers he took out on his own.
“Did you count?”, is the only thing Luke asks you, his gaze fixed ahead, his hand on the hilt of his lightsaber. Nodding, you answer his question, and a small smile pulls at the corner of your lips. You can’t fully reply, however, when the elevator abruptly stops on the selected floor and the doors hiss open.
As if in slow motion, Luke steps out first, the green blade already lit again, and faces the crowd of dark troopers who have just been waiting for the both of you. Immediately, Luke deflects and dodges each trooper’s blaster shots, severing the first of them in two. Startled, you take a step back all of a sudden, not knowing exactly what made you do it, the adrenaline dulling all your senses.
Moving quickly, closely behind Luke, you also take out a dark trooper who has gotten a little to close for your liking. You use the Force to pull one of them towards you, but do not manage to pull him as close as you originally intended, which surprises you once again. Luke does not realize, however, as he swipes his green lightsaber across the trooper from top to the bottom. The next one he pushes backwards with a boost of the Force.
Thrilled and exhausted, you watch as he effectively crushes the very last enemy with the Force in a matter of seconds with a tiny flick of his hand, an action that only makes you realize just how powerful Luke really is.
You still have a lot to learn.
Now, you stand alone in front of the locked blast door that protects those you came here for. A deep indentation in the door indicates that you got here just in time.
As you stagger, preparing to open the thick door with your lightsaber, it already hisses to the side on its own, opening up a view of the bridge. The sliding doors reveal, even though blurry, a group of the most diverse inhabitants of the galaxy: bounty hunters, Mandalorians, Imperials, and…
“Are you Jedi?”, the Mandalorian in shining silver armor asks after you have removed your hoods and revealed your faces upon entering.
“We are”, Luke replies calmly, his eyes shifting to the left toward the small green figure hiding behind the back of a chair. You watch as Luke reaches out to the Force-sensitive child and asks him to come along. His words ring in your head from afar, as if he weren’t standing right next to you.
You can tell from the Mandalorian’s movement that they are still talking, but their conversation is drowned out by a loud and uncomfortable beeping in your ear. When a sudden rush of pain shoots through you all of a sudden, you wince and take another step back, as if something invisible hit you out of nowhere.
Instinctively, your hand grabs your side and when it comes into contact with your skin you can’t help but cry out in pain. The moment you look down at yourself and there is dark blood all over your hand, your blood, the realization hits you roughly.
You weren’t hit by something invisible. Unnoticedly, you were hit by a blaster shot, one that neither Luke nor you were able to deflect after stepping out of the elevator. This also explains why you staggered all of a sudden, why you were suddenly unconcentrated and could no longer properly recognize the figures in front of you, why you are now on the fastest way to the hard, cold ground.
If it weren’t for Luke, who catches you in one swift movement and slowly slides you to the ground, his hands tightly wrapped around your body, you would have hit your head. You do not want to seem weak, especially not in front of him, which is probably why you have been subconsciously suppressing the pain all along. However, you are wounded more severely than you thought, at least judging by the expression on Luke’s face after he took a closer look at your bleeding wound.
Perplexed and no longer able to fully comprehend what is happening around you, your vision only gets clear for short intervals. At first, you recognize several silhouettes looking at you, including the tiny green creature, while the next moment you hear R2-D2’s worried squeak. Then you are blinded by a bright light before feeling severe pain that suddenly vanishes again and then, out of nowhere, an X-Wing appears in front of you. Before you know it, you are in the endless vastness of space and then you slip into pure darkness.
When you can open your eyes properly for the first time after what feels like hours of being unconscious, even though your head is still constantly buzzing, it takes you a moment to find your way back to the here and now. A brown wall made of some kind of fabric reveals in front of you and you realize that you are lying on a makeshift bamboo bed, your jedi robe on top of you, turned into a blanket. Outside of what appears to be a tent you hear the soft cracking of a fire that casts eerie shadows on the tent wall. Unable to hear any other sounds, you quickly want to get up and search for Luke as the fear coursing through you due to his absence is quickly replaced by pain.
Groaning, you touch the familiar spot, where you were hit by blaster fire not too long ago, with your hand. Now, there is a large bacta patch attached to your skin, covering and protecting the wound. Slowly but surely acquainting yourself with your new immobility, you crawl to the entrance of the makeshift tent and pull the fabric that works as a door aside.
The light of the flames blinds you for a brief moment, but at the same time greets you with a pleasant warmth immediately.
“Y/N! You are awake”, Luke says, visibly glad as he quickly gets up from his cross-legged position next to the fire and rushes to you, dropping to the ground next to you while putting a safe arm around your shoulders. His other hand he places on your cheek and his eyes search your face for cluses as to how you are doing.
“I- Where are we?”, you ask in amazement, not being able to clearly see where you are even when you take a look at your surroundings. All you can recognize is that you are hidden in some forest in the galaxy. Your train of thought is interrupted, however, when a childlike cooing sounds next to you. You are shocked to find that the little green creature has come along this journey with you.
“May I introduce you, this is Grogu”, Luke introduces the two of you, and Grogu coos at the mention of his name, ears pricked. “Grogu, this is Y/N.”
Grogu’s little green hand touches your leg, seemingly his own way of greeting you, causing you to briefly giggle. You have to stop yourself, however, as the excruciating pain washes over you once more.
“I don’t know how it happened! I deflected all the shots, but this one must have escaped me and got you straight”, Luke chatters away, the guilt clearly written on his face. “The medical bay on this damn cruiser had hardly any equipment, so I could only put a bacta patch on the wound. I hope-”
“Luke”, you interrupt him gently, putting your hand on the side of his face now in order to force him to look directly at you. “It’s fine, I’m fine. It only hurts a little when I move. Or breathe.”
Luke immediately takes a breath in, ready to interject once more, presumably to tell you to lie down, but this time he remains silent as you pull his face towards you and bring your lips together in a gentle kiss. You don’t know what exactly made you do it, maybe it is the adrenaline that is still rushing through your veins, or it just felt right in that exact moment, here and now. Whatever it was, here you are, kissing Luke Skywalker and he seems to agree, actually deepening the kiss while leaning his torso more over your body, running his hand down the sides of your body, the side that is not injured. Wait a minute..
With a sudden jerk you promptly move away from Luke and look down at yourself, startled, examining the bacta patch that is still in place. However, the painful tug you felt when moving suddenly disappeared. Puzzled and not quite understanding what happened, Luke also looks at your wound, immediately grabbing your hand when you start to remove the patch, trying to prevent you from doing so.
“Y/N-”
“Wait, wait. It.. doesn’t hurt anymore”, you brush him off and he lets you remove the patch. Together you draw in a sharp breath at the same time as the bacta patch reveals your shining skin, no traces of a wound left. As if it never even existed.
“What..”, both of you start, when Grogu, who has settled down right next to you in the meantime, answers with a coo, stretching out one of his tiny hands. At that exact moment the realization what this little guy apparently tries to tell you dawns upon you, and apparently also on Luke.
“No, no. That is absolutely impossible”, Luke immediately denies what you are both trying to comprehend at that moment, examining his own hands closely with wide eyes. He tries to understand that he healed you and did it with nothing but the Force itself.
“The sacred jedi texts say that-”
“Of course I just magically healed you with the Force and he tells me it’s what he always does”, Luke murmurs softly under his breath, causing you to look at him, placing Grogu on your lap while your heartbeat picks up again when you lock eyes with Luke. Questioningly, you stare at him, although you know exactly what he means. “I suppose now I will never have the courage to-”
“This is incredible!”, you yelp with delight, taking Grogu by surprise as the next moment he is stumbling backwards, R2 next to him beeping at you reproachfully as the protective brother he is. Happy and completely pain-free, you grab the little one and hold him in your arms so that he examines you with his huge eyes. Even though you know he can’t answer you or you wouldn’t understand since you don’t know how Luke is able to communicate with him, you smile at the little creature that reminds you of an old master while Luke still has to process the situation.
Which is more than fine with you, because that way he will not notice how fast your heart is beating after you have just kissed him out of nowhere.
“Courage for what?”, you interrupt him now, actually curious, but still a bit shy and reserved. The hope that he is triggering inside of you scares you. You weren’t even this scared when facing the dark troopers as you are in this moment. And Luke feels exactly the same.
“I- Well-”, Luke begins, but when he finds himself at a loss for the right words, he is the one leaning in and joining your lips in a soft kiss that you did not see coming at all. He gently moves his lips against yours and if you did not know better, you feel him smile against you every now and then.
Only when he breaks the kiss do you dare to take a deep breath in, although his face is still incredibly close in front of yours. His beautiful shining eyes light up at the sight of you, saying so much more than words ever could. Never again can you imagine living without that feeling inside of you, that mutual feeling of being loved feels so intoxicating.
R2-D2, who is currently talking to the child, does not seem to be bothered by the renewed awkward silence between the two of you. Rather, he takes this as an opportunity to beep even louder and tell one of his great stories.
“I-”, you try to start another conversation with Luke, who is still looking at you with so much affection that you could melt right there and then. Pulling yourself together, however, you slowly continue, emphasizing every single word: “By the way, I have eliminated fifteen dark troopers.”
There is a brief silence, and it almost looks as if Luke has stopped breathing for a second. But then he snorts loudly, and his beautiful laugh rings out to you. You can’t help but join his laughter until he abruptly stops and looks at you with all seriousness, his hand on your cheek and his thumb caressing your bottom lip.
“I got twenty-five.”

Hi anon! Yes Luke would definitely do this!
Warnings: Smut, oral sex (male receiving), p in v sex, unprotected sex. Basically this is filthy.
Minors dni! NSFW below the cut!
(Gif not mine)
Tumblr media
You and Luke were watching a holofilm while cuddling on the couch. However, the two of you were not watching the holofilm, you were instead making out and ignoring the film completely.
You were straddling Luke’s lap and kissing him deeply. Luke’s hands wondered to the back your waist, lifting your shirt just enough to caress your skin. Luke drew small circles and lines along your back. You took this as a sign for more, taking off your shirt leaving you in your bra.
Luke’s hands came around to caress your breasts through your bra. You smile down at him, he was always obsessed with your tits. Deciding to be gracious, you take off your bra, letting Luke kiss and lightly suck on your tits. Luke’s assault on your breasts makes you moan. He is immediately turned on, and you feel it, his cock twitching in his pants.
This leads you to temporarily stand up and remove the rest of your clothes. Luke follows suit, freeing his hard cock. You kneel down and admire his length, taking in your hand and pumping it a few times. You move close and lick a stripe up his length. Luke moans and moves his hand to rest on your hair. You start licking the tip before putting it in your mouth, tasting the sweet and salty precum. You begin bobbing up and down, swirling your tongue around it, getting it nice and wet with your saliva. Luke restrains himself from bucking into up into your mouth. Luke smiles and taps your shoulder, “I want you to ride me…”
Smiling at his command, you climb back up and line yourself up with his cock. Luke gently places his hands on your waist as you slowly impale yourself on his dick. You feel your breath leaving your body, his cock stretching your walls. You give yourself a minute to adjust, and get used to it. You begin with a slow pace to start, Luke keeps a grip on your hips controlling your pace.
Soon, Luke allows you to pick up the pace, “I want you to bounce on my cock.” He demands and you obey. You repeatedly bounce on his cock, his hands move down and grip your ass. The sounds of grunting and moaning fill the room, your both getting close to climax. Luke uses your ass to help you bounce on his dick. Your the first to orgasm, throwing your head back in pleasure. Your walls clench around Luke pushing him to his climax, he paints your walls with his cum. You slowly come to a stop, tiding out your bliss. Luke caresses your back and brings you close, he looks over your shoulder to see the credits of the holofilm rolling.

You’ll Always Have Me
After a mission goes wary, you find a certain Jedi by your side, giving you the comfort you so desperately want and need.
warnings: mentions of tr*uma
A/N: hellooo, it’s me again. kinda sad so i wanted to write this cuz i needed me some luke lovin, i hope you enjoy still!
You sat on top of a supply crate, in the middle of the now almost empty hangar, staring blankly at the floor. You had just arrived back from a mission; a mission that didn't exactly end the way you wanted it to. You lost a few people and you could not help but blame yourself for it. You did all you can but it felt like it wasn't enough, that you didn't do enough.
You closed your eyes, letting out a shaky breath as you tried calming yourself, trying to shut out the memories of your fallen comrades and the rollercoaster of emotions from consuming you. All you wanted was to get some rest but you just couldn't.
You jumped slightly at the feeling of soft fabric being draped over your shoulders, you looked behind you and saw Luke standing there, smiling softly at you. "Thank you." You mumbled, eyes darting back to the floor. "You're always welcome, starlight." He whispered before leaning in to leave a soft, lingering kiss on your cheek. You leaned against his touch, letting his warmth embrace you, instantly calming you down. You close your eyes for a moment, basking in his presence, thankful. As he was about to pull away, you reached for his hand, making him look at you. You shook your head and he nodded before going over to stand in front of you. He cups your face in between his hands, his thumb lazily stroking your tear-stained cheek. You stare into his blue eyes, eyes that made you feel right at home. "I'm right here if you need me." He whispers as he leans down to leave a kiss on your forehead. "You'll always have me." He adds before pulling away slightly and grazing your lip with his thumb. You nod as he leans down once more, this time to give you a tender but passionate kiss on the lips. He caressed your cheek as he pulled away. "If you want to talk about it, I'm here. Always."
Luke, being the sweetheart he is, decided to take a seat on another smaller supply crate beside yours, giving you some space as he watched you.
"Why aren't you in bed?" You asked quietly, trying to strike up a conversation. Luke shrugged, "You weren't with me."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be, my love." He smiled. "I understand. I hope it's okay if I keep you company here instead, till you're ready to head to bed."
You nod and he smiles before glancing at your hand, the one you've been hiding from him. "May I see your hand?" He asked and you knew you couldn't avoid it any longer so you gave in, showing him your badly gashed hand. Luke sighed, wincing slightly at your wound and you shrugged. "It's not as bad as it looks."
"I've heard that before." Luke chuckled as he carefully set your hand back down and stood up from his seat. "I'll be right back, I think I have a spare medkit in my X-wing." You nodded quietly, grabbing the blanket as it slowly started to slide off your shoulders. You waited quietly as Luke rushed towards his ship that was parked not that far from yours. You took the time to look around the now-empty Hangar, usually filled with the hustle and bustle of people. It was odd seeing the place so quiet. For now. Your eyes snapped up when you heard quite the loud thunk that echoed along with quiet swearing. You scrunched your eyebrows and leaned towards the side, trying to look for Luke.
"Luke?" You called out as you finally saw him walking back to you, hand rubbing the side of his head. You smiled softly, "Did you hit your head?"
"No..." He answered as he placed the medkit on a nearby crate before walking over to stand in front of you, smiling. You laughed and shook your head before burying your face into his chest, inhaling his scent. "I love hearing you laugh." He whispered as he began tending to your wound, carefully reaching for your hand once more. You nodded quietly, as you swallowed hard to keep the tears from crashing down. You stayed like that for a few moments, crying quietly. Luke would stop fiddling every with your hand every now and then to rub your back lovingly.
You felt Luke leave a small kiss on your hand before placing a finger under your chin and making you look up at him. "All done." He smiled softly, thumbs caressing your cheeks as his big hands now cupped your face. You nodded, "Thank you." "Anything for you, my love."
You nodded and scooted aside, giving him space to join you on the supply crate you were on. He accepted the offer and snuggled up to you, pulling you close as you draped the blanket over him. The two of you sat in silence as you stared at your X-Wing which was parked in front of you. You looked at him and ran a hand through his hair, feeling him instantly lean against you. "What're you doing?" He mumbled as you began massaging. "Trying to feel for bumps. You hit your head pretty hard back there. You could've awoken the entire base." You teased as you ran your hands through it once more before pulling away. He chuckled and nuzzled into your hair as you sunk into him, loving the warmth.
“Feeling better?” Luke asked quietly, leaving a soft kiss on the top of your head and tightening his hold on you. You nodded and felt your eyes get heavier by the second. “We should head to bed.” But before you could move, Luke stopped you by pulling you onto his lap, making you wrap your arms around his neck. You took a quick glance around the hangar, checking if anyone was around. Thankfully, at this time of the night, this place was empty. “Five more minutes. Let me hold you and then we can head back to bed.” He mumbled as he buried his face into your neck. You smiled when you felt him leave small kisses here and there. You sighed contentedly, knowing well enough you could stay there forever.
“I love you.” You both say at the same time, making the two of you look at each other. You burst out laughing before leaning your forehead against his, rubbing your nose ever so lightly against each other. He gives you a quick but passionate, filled-with-all-his-love kiss on the lips. You ran a hand through his hair once more when you pulled away.
“Luke…” you called out after moments of silence.
“Hm?” He answered sleepily as he found his way back into your neck, nuzzling up to you like some sort of dog.
“I just remembered… aren’t we supposed to be on patrol duty tonight?” You asked, finally pulling away to look down at him. You laughed when Luke’s eyes widened. Without saying a word, the two of you jump from your seats and rush down to General Dodonna, hand in hand, laughing.
As the two of you rushed down the halls of Yavin base, it was at that moment you realized you were beyond thankful that you’ll always have Luke Skywalker by your side… and that he’ll always have you. No matter what, where and when.
