when it rains (obi-wan x reader)
summary: being in love with obi-wan is great - but it might be less difficult if he knew about it. (commission for @ofmusesandsecrets!)

You were generally quite good at keeping your shit together.
Obi-Wan Kenobi had always been a threat to that.
On the surface, you were everything a Senator could need to be; an intelligent and well-spoken individual, with a high level of education and a passion for change. You always stood up for what you believed in; always spoke up on issues you were passionate about and always fighting the good fight. These were all things that Obi-Wan had loved about you, and in what felt like the galaxy's cruellest Catch 22, it was that love that threatened your ability to upkeep appearances. One glance at him across the Senate, or a brief moment of eye contact at one of the Galas - more often than not where he was your bodyguard - and you were worried it would all come tumbling down.
You had met Kenobi a few years after he'd become a Jedi Master. You were early on in your career as a politician, working as an apprentice to a higher-level representative. Always on the go, with stacks of paperwork in your arms and a million thoughts brewing in your mind, you'd crossed paths with Obi-Wan one morning during a meeting in the Temple. He'd given you a smile, made a quip about how he'd never seen you not on the go (which confirmed to you that he had seen you before and had stared long enough to notice those details about you).
Five years later, you hadn't been able to look at anyone else.
He was your best friend now, undoubtedly and wholly. You saw each other every day at the least - maybe in meetings and occasionally in passing - but he would come to your apartment every night without fail. Mostly just to catch up, and sometimes just to vent. Even on the days where Anakin had driven him to the point of grey hair, you were still happy to listen.
It was raining tonight in Coruscant. A lot. Lashing down from the sky, putting most of the city to a halt. Your afternoon meeting had been cancelled as a result, which meant you'd been holed up in your apartment all afternoon, a mug of tea in one hand and a stack of paperwork in the other. Obi-Wan's first ever comment to you had always rung true; you were always on the go, even when you were sat still. There was always something on your mind - something to create, something to do, something to debate. Sometimes, it made Obi-Wan want to grab your shoulders, give you a little shake and tell you to slow the fuck down.
He turned up just after 8PM - drenched, as expected, and with a slightly wet coffee cup in hand. In your line of work, you could afford a slow afternoon. For Obi-Wan, your busiest day of work was comparable to one he'd find relaxing. You had no doubt that he'd not long wrapped up for the night, so you wasted no time in stepping aside and letting him into your apartment.
"Long day?" you asked, eyebrows raised.
Obi-Wan glared at you. "Long day. Wet day."
"Right, sorry," you snorted. Taking the coffee cup out his hands, you tossed it into the garbage and headed towards your kitchen. "C'mon, I'll make you a drink that's not half rainwater."
"Thank you, darling," he gave you a small smile, hot on your tail as he followed you through the apartment. "I heard the Senate meeting was called early this afternoon."
"Yeah," you replied. "At like 2PM. Half the people due to come couldn't make it due to the weather. It took me two hours to get home."
"You should have come and found me at the Temple," Obi-Wan said. "You know my room is always available."
You knew. You'd always known, even on the nights when Obi-Wan was present there too. How many times had you stayed over after a long night? Snuck back there after a Gala? Just to sleep three feet apart, both your minds working at a thousand miles an hour, purely to resist the urge to reach out towards him and curl up into his side. The idea of domesticity with Obi-Wan was almost enough to kill you, just as it was right now. Here he was, leant against your kitchen counter. He was throwing his wet cloak into your tumble drier, hands reaching for a tea towel on the side. He was acting like he lived here, like he paid half the rent and maker, you wished he would. You wished that he would come back here every night and just fucking stay. With you, here, forever. No outside world; no politics; no stupid Jedi laws.
"Where did you go?" he asked.
You blinked in surprise. "What?"
"Your mind - it went somewhere," Obi-Wan continued. "What are you thinking about?"
"Oh, uh...just work," you forced a smile. "You know how it is."
"I turn off when I'm done," he replied, hand brushing down your arm. "You never really stop, do you?"
I stop thinking about work, you thought to yourself, but I never stop thinking about you.
"No, I will," you murmured. "Sorry."
"Never be sorry," Obi-Wan said.
You snapped back into action, hands quickly chucking ingredients into a mug in order to produce an acceptable cup of coffee. You knew Obi-Wan's routine with his fancy-ass drip filter and organic beans and locally sourced milk. It was a few levels above the instant coffee you were about to press into his hands, but your actions were still met with a smile.
"How are you going to get back to the Temple later?" you asked. "The storm has half the city at a standstill and I beg you not to say that you're walking."
He smiled. "I realised as soon as I got to your building that I may be trapped for the night."
"Right," you replied, fighting back your own smile. "That's sort of the point I was getting to anyways."
Your eyes met, and you couldn't help but sometimes wonder if he felt it too. If his eyes lingered on yours when you turned away, if you were constantly on his mind every moment that you were apart. Of course, it was different for him; after all, the job he'd dedicated his very life to forbade attachment in any form and this? Well, this was the highest form.
"I have some of my brothers clothes in the hallway closet," you broke the silence. "You're welcome to steal some."
Obi-Wan smiled. "Thank you, darling."
It wasn't really a question between you about where he would be sleeping. You only had one bed and you'd already shared before, so what was the point in overcomplicating it? Well...overcomplicating it even more. Nothing about this was simple, and sharing a bed was not the distance you needed for the situation, but what did you care anymore? You yearned to be around the man all the time, even if it meant doing this weird to-and-fro that you'd had going on for half a decade. Him being in your bed just for tonight was fine. You were both tired. You both needed it.
Obi-Wan picked up his mug, giving your arm another squeeze.
"I'm going to go and shower," he said. "Thank you letting me stay."
You smiled and nodded. "Always."
Putting aside your own half empty coffee, you threw it into the sink - that would be tomorrow's problem, as would all of this - and went through to the bedroom. You could hear the shower running, and your mind again went off to that all too familiar place: home. Not here, but wherever Obi-Wan was. What you wouldn't have given to had this every night; you getting ready for bed, him in the shower, both of you planning to end up in the same bed. It wasn't possible. You knew it wasn't possible, as long as he were still a Jedi and as long as you were still a Senator. Hell, you would have thrown your position aside in seconds if it meant being with him. Maybe that was the difference between the two of you.
Changing into a baggy shirt and sweatpants, you threw aside the covers and climbed into bed. The sheets were cold, as they always were when you first went to bed, but knowing someone else was minutes away from warming them up sent butterflies to your stomach. Maybe not butterflies, so much as they were wasps. Big, anxious wasps, at the idea of being in such close proximity with your best friend. What if this was the night that three foot meant fuck all? Maybe you could actually have his arms around; keep him closer for longer, not just a brief hug or a quick touch. This could be it now.
You heard the water shut off and there was a brief shuffling. A few moments later, Obi-Wan exited the bathroom. He'd opted for sweatpants too, but no shirt. Your instincts said to look away, but you couldn't. Hell, you didn't even care that you looked like a creep, watching him as he crossed the room. Obi-Wan barely even noticed, simply placing his boots by the door and climbing into bed beside you. You could feel the heat off his body beside you, arms just inches from touching.
"Was the shower okay?" you asked, eager to break the silence that had once again formed. "I've been having problems with...with my hot water."
"Why are you nervous?"
You blinked. "I'm not nervous."
"Yes, you are," Obi-Wan replied. "You always ramble when you're nervous, and I've never heard you talk about something as boring as how well your shower is working."
"Right," you murmured. "Sorry."
"That still doesn't answer my question," he pushed. "Why are you nervous? It's me, sweetheart."
"Maybe that's exactly why I'm nervous," you muttered. "I'm not sure. I just...it's weird that you're shirtless in my bed."
"Oh," he seemed surprise. "That's okay. I can sleep on the sofa-"
"- no, no, it's fine," you quickly cut him off. "I just never really know what to do these situations, to be honest. When we've slept together before, I've always tried my best to stay on the other side of the bed but...I'm not so sure I want to do that tonight."
Obi-Wan stared blankly ahead for a moment. Okay, so that had been risky as fuck, and for a moment you felt yourself reeling, waiting for his reaction. To your surprise, there wasn't really one. Even when it was the most forward you'd been - without really being forward at all - he still stayed stoic as always. There was no visible response, just a quick blink and a small shrug.
"We're both cold from the rain," he reasoned. "It makes sense. I see no reason why we have to stay on opposite sides of the bed."
Much to your surprise, he was the one to move first. He shuffled onto his side, a large arm coming around your waist and the other snaking underneath you. He pulled you into him, hand guiding your head into his neck and tucking it below his chin. You were stiff for a second, but quickly relaxed - this felt right. Like it was meant to be.
You could faintly smell the remains of his aftershave, mixed with the smell of your shower gel. His skin was still warm from the shower.
(And maybe it was).
"Are you warmer now?" he asked quietly.
"Yeah," you murmured. "Toasty."
He smiled. "Good - now get some sleep."
You knew the morning would come, and that Obi-Wan would have to leave; you knew even more that this might not happen again. Not unless luck was on your side and would happen to lump you together during a storm, or a black out. Or - and the more terrifying option - that you declared your love for him and this would be how every night was.
It was hard to know; hard to tell and predict, just like everything else in the galaxy. Still, you were grateful that Obi-Wan was your best friend, and even more grateful that you had tonight.

You hadn’t been entirely sure what was happening, one minute you were fighting back to back with Commander Grazer, a dozen more clones fighting around you until the droid army was in pieces. It had been a long battle and you were panting by the end of it, exhausted and desperately praying that Obi-Wan was winning his own battle on Utapau.
When you turned around to check on your men you froze as you came face to face with a blaster and Commander Grazer’s face showing his conflicting emotions as his arm shook slightly. You had just been about to open your mouth when you glanced around and saw the others all had their guns upright and steadily pointed directly at you.
“What is this?” You asked as you reignited your lightsaber, not wanting to use it against the men under your command.
“Execute Order 66!” Commander Grazer said and suddenly there were blaster shots being fired at you from every direction, you just about managed to jump out of the way, using the Force to push the clones aside as you used your lightsaber to deflect as many shots as you could.
The ships were a good few klicks away and you had a full battalion following after you as you darted away from their shots, desperately trying not to get hit. It didn’t help that the planet’s terrain was steep and uneven, full of hills and cliffs.
One of the clones managed to get close enough to try and grab you but when you pushed back, using the Force to push him away you ended up sending yourself tumbling down one of the deep hills, wincing as you felt sharp rocks slicing your robe, some deep enough to pierce your skin.
By the time you had stopped falling your hands were cut, bruises would definitely form and you could feel blood sticking to your shirt. You didn’t have time to stop though, blaster shots were still coming from above and you could see the clones making their way down towards you.
As you ran towards the ships you pressed at your comm but it had taken a hit during your fall and there was no way to get in touch with anybody to see what was happening. You couldn’t even fathom what was happening, these clones, those men had become more than just soldiers under your command, they had turned into friends, family, you fought side by side with them every day. For them to just turn so suddenly didn’t make sense.
You ran until your sides hurt, until the cuts and bruises ached painfully and your feet begged for a break, you pressed on and eventually saw the ships in the distance. The clones were still behind you but you had put a fair bit of distance between you and them, twisting and turning here and there, but every so often a blaster bolt would shoot past you forcing you to run faster.
By the time you actually got to the ships you felt about ready to pass out, the battle that had tired you out to begin with felt like it had happened in another lifetime. You knew you had less than a minute to get on a ship and off the planet before the clones were in their own ships trying to shoot you down.
Somehow you managed it though, jumping into hyperspace just as the clones came into view. You had quickly typed in the coordinates for Coruscant but once you were in hyperspace you figured that might not be the best plan, you weren’t sure just how widespread this thing was with the clones since your comm had broken.
You pressed a few more buttons on the ship before a voice came through, a voice you recognised well and had you sighing in relief to hear but then you registered his words and felt your blood turn cold.
“This is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic have fallen, with the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi. Trust in the Force. Do not return to the Temple.”
The Jedi Order had fallen along with the Republic? How could that possibly be the case when just hours before you and Obi-Wan had parted ways with every intent to have the war finished when you saw each other again.
You keyed in Obi-Wan’s private comm number and felt your fear worsen when there was no reply after more than a dozen attempts to contact him. You prayed to the Force he was safe, you knew to get his message out he would have to have gone back to the Temple. Your mind kept trying to conjure every scenario, every bad thing that could have happened to Obi-Wan but you tried to do as he instructed, you had to trust in the Force.
You were still heading toward Coruscant and knew that you had to change course, you were still a few days out but didn’t want to be anywhere near the planet, it was too dangerous. You needed a new destination but had no idea where was safe.
You wanted Obi-Wan.
With Obi-Wan not answering his comm you moved onto other people who might know something. Anakin was your next call but you had a bad feeling, he had been on Coruscant and whatever had happened with the clones with you it was clearly happening on Coruscant too and when Anakin didn’t answer you tried desperately to shut your mind off. You tried Padmé after that, she was also on Coruscant but she would have been rushed away from the danger and yet she too failed to answer.
You felt sick to your stomach, whatever was happening on Coruscant must have been deadly, the Empire had taken over and you just hoped your friends were safe.
You tried one more person, praying and begging with the Force to let this call connect because you didn’t know what you were supposed to do if it didn’t.
“Y/N?” A voice exclaimed startling you back to reality, eyes snapping open to look at the holo in front of you. “You’re alive!”
“Bail.” You breathed out, tears stinging your eyes and you barely choked back a sob at finally getting through to somebody. “Thank the Force, I tried everyone but nobody is answering. What’s going on?”
Bail looked down, a grief stricken look on his face that had you even further on edge. You weren’t sure you wanted to know the answer.
“How much do you know?” He asked you instead of answering your question, he wasn’t quite sure he could tell you.
“I got Obi-Wan’s message.” You told him after taking a deep breath, your mind still running wild and Bail’s avoidance didn’t help. “I know the Order and the Republic have fallen, I know the clones have turned against us.”
“Yes.” Bail sighed and he looked back up at you looking older than you’d ever seen him before. “That is the basics of what has happened. Where are you now? If you got Obi-Wan’s message you know you mustn’t return to Coruscant.”
You nodded but didn’t answer him, staying silent for a minute as you played with the ring on your finger. It wasn’t really allowed, possessions weren’t a thing the Jedi had but nobody had ever brought it up and it had been a gift from Obi-Wan, one that you never wanted to part with.
You knew you had to ask, knew you had to know but you hated that with one little question you could suddenly be in a galaxy without Obi-Wan. You took a shaky breath, a tear falling down your cheek as you looked at Bail.
“Obi-Wan,” You managed to choke out, pausing to swallow around the lump in your throat as more tears slid from your eyes. “Obi-Wan, is he-”
You couldn’t force yourself to say the word, refused to even speak it into existence. The sympathetic look Bail wore did nothing to help the devastation running through you. You couldn’t imagine a galaxy without Obi-Wan, you’d known him your whole life. As a Jedi you had been taken to the Temple at a young age and you didn’t remember a time before that, Obi-Wan had already been there when you arrived and the two of you had been inseparable ever since.
It might’ve been against the Jedi code but you didn’t care, you knew you loved him even if you could ignore it most days.
He couldn’t be gone, he just couldn’t be, not Obi-Wan. A galaxy without Obi-Wan was not one you wanted to be in.
“He’s alive, Y/N.” Bail told you, forcing his voice to be steady even as his face softened as you broke out into relieved sobs, when he hadn’t answered your calls you’d assumed the worst but he was alive.
“Where is he?” You asked and Bail didn’t hesitate to tell you he had travelled to Tatooine and he was staying there, he sent the coordinates over to you and you quickly changed the destination and turned back to Bail.
“Thank you, Bail. If you ever need anything you know where to find me.” You told him sincerely. You had known Bail for years, becoming close friends with both him and Breha and you were beyond relieved to see he was unharmed.
“Likewise, Y/N. Stay safe and…keep an eye on Obi-Wan, he’s going to need all the support he can get.” Bail told you and you frowned, something about his tone telling you whatever was happening with Obi-Wan went deeper than the fall of the Order and the Republic.
“I’ll always look after Obi-Wan.” You told him, watching as a smile spread across his face and he nodded, knowing full well that you and Obi-Wan loved each other and would die before letting the other get hurt. “Stay safe, Bail.”
It was still a two day journey to Tatooine and your mind ran wild in those days. Bail hadn’t told you anything more than what Obi-Wan’s message warned about so until you were reunited with Obi-Wan you were left with the most dreadful thoughts. During your journey you didn’t sleep, the one time you managed to drift off your dreams were plagued with screams and death and you forced yourself to stay awake as you flew through hyperspace.
You finally arrived on Tatooine, following the coordinates given to you by Bail and felt a wave of relief rush through you when you saw a small shack in the middle of nowhere, far enough away that nobody would stumble across it but close enough that Obi-Wan could travel out for supplies when needed.
When you landed the ship you had to take a moment to just sit back in the seat and let out a shaky breath as you stared at the shack, even though you had been told Obi-Wan was alive and safe, you knew you wouldn’t truly believe it until you saw the man, so with another deep breath you pulled yourself together and headed off the ship.
Obi-Wan had heard the ship and he was proud that his wave of panic only lasted a minute before he reached out and felt your Force signature. Once he had pushed aside his fear he felt his heart speed back up for a different reason, you were alive. He had truly thought that after days of not hearing from you that something had happened, that you hadn’t been able to fight the clones off.
With Luke still in his arms, awake and content to be held, he made his way outside and watched as the ship's door opened and you walked down the ramp. You looked worse for wear, clearly injured, robes torn and muddied but none of that mattered, you were alive, that was the most important thing.
He walked to meet you halfway, noticing the exact moment your eyes widened as you took note of Luke in his arms, it seemed Bail hadn’t shared everything with you. When you finally reached him your eyes moved from Luke to look in Obi-Wan’s.
“Is that…” You went to ask, trailing off as your eyes fell back to Luke.
“Y/N, meet Luke Skywalker.” Obi-Wan said softly and your gaze snapped back to him, eyes wide and watery as you tried to keep the tears where they were but it was no use, once one leaked over the rest followed. “Would you like to hold him?”
You opened your mouth to say something but the words clearly died on your tongue as it fell back shut and instead you gave him a shaky nod. Obi-Wan smiled as he carefully transferred the baby to you, guiding your hand to hold his head properly and then just watched as you looked down at Luke with a mix of emotions playing out on your face.
Your hand came up to gently run along the baby’s cheek before you let out a choked sob when Luke’s tiny hand came up to wrap around your finger. You looked back to Obi-Wan and saw tears welling up in his own eyes as he stepped closer, wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you into his chest as he placed a gentle kiss to your hair and looked down at you and Luke, so thankful that he had something good left after all that had been lost.
Not much later you and Obi-Wan were settled on the sofa, you tucked against Obi-Wan and Luke cradled in your arms. Given the past few days, the fighting, the overwhelming emotions, the pain and suffering, the dragging yourself off the ground when all you wanted to do was give up, this small part of Tatooine, this quiet corner of the planet Obi-Wan had picked out felt so quiet compared to how loud the rest of the galaxy seemed.
Your gaze was on Luke, heart equal parts full of love for the child and pain for what had become of his parents. You hadn’t had the full story yet, Obi-Wan hadn’t said much and you were content with the silence for now but you knew nothing good could have happened if Obi-Wan had Luke.
Eventually the baby’s eyes closed and began to flutter as he fell asleep in your arms and a small smile tugged at your lips as you stood up and carefully walked over to the small crib Obi-Wan had set up, tucking Luke in and placing a gentle kiss to his forehead before joining Obi-Wan back on the sofa.
In the short amount of time it had taken you to put Luke to bed Obi-Wan had gotten up to get supplies to patch you up. Most of the injuries were cuts and bruises, nothing too serious and most of them had closed up after your long travels.
“Will you tell me what happened?” You asked softly, wincing as Obi-Wan gently ran a wet cloth over a long cut on the side of your stomach.
Obi-Wan was silent for long enough that you resigned yourself to not knowing but then he sighed, a deep, heavy, tired sigh before starting at the beginning with the battle on Utapau right up until giving Leia over to Bail and leaving them behind to bring Luke to Tatooine.
By the end of it you were all patched up and tears fell down both your cheeks. You felt even more exhausted after hearing everything, heartbroken as you cried for everything that had been lost. How had things gone so wrong in the span of just a few days?
Obi-Wan looked drained and when he suggested retiring for the night you didn’t hesitate to agree, letting him pull you from the sofa and into the small bedroom. That night neither of you got much sleep despite feeling more exhausted than you could ever remember being, both of you curled against each other as your thoughts played through the last few days.
For a long while things were tense, the weight of the fall sat heavily on both your shoulders, knowing that the organisation you had dedicated your lives to and the only home either of you had ever known was gone like it had never been there, it was a lot to come to terms with.
Luke seemed to grow more and more every day until he was a small boy who began resembling another little boy you had once known although that felt like another lifetime ago.
You knew Obi-Wan had bad days, days where he excused himself to the nearest town because looking at Luke hurt, you know he hated himself for it no matter what you said to try and convince him that it made sense. You got it too, sometimes you looked at him and saw a glimpse of Padmé’s smile, sometimes the resemblance to Anakin was too much for you too.
Things did get easier though, eventually the hurt of losing the Order faded into something easier to live with, the pain of losing Padmé and Anakin had become a part of you and all you could do was keep their memory alive.
“I wish he could stay this little.” You murmured as Luke cuddled into you, squashed between you and Obi-Wan on the sofa, eyes closed as Obi-Wan finished reading a story to him.
“I know what you mean.” Obi-Wan smiled as he looked down at Luke, the boy hadn’t long since turned five but Obi-Wan could still remember how he had cradled the small baby against his chest like it was only yesterday.
For years during your time in the Order you and Obi-Wan had always known you were special to each other, it was different to how you were friends with the other younglings, you and Obi-Wan had been inseparable from day one. Both of you were loyal to the Order and followed the code even if it did mean you couldn’t have the other.
Now there was no code, there was no Order for you to be loyal to. All that was left was this small patch of land on Tatooine and each other. You had already been here for five years, five years that seemed to have flown by in the blink of an eye and had let yourself fall more and more in love with him now that there was nothing stopping you.
You and Obi-Wan had never mentioned it, never defined it but you didn’t have to, you both knew it was love. Waking up next to each other every morning, moving in sync with each other as you cooked, Obi-Wan watching with a soft smile as you and Luke danced around his room whilst getting him ready for the day, the lingering touches, the way you got to fall asleep curled against each other, it was all love.
“Sometimes I wish we could give him more though, a life beyond this shack, one where he could go to school, one where he could make friends.” Obi-Wan sighed, letting his head fall to the side so he could look back at you, you who were smiling at him with such a softness to it.
“Careful what you wish for, Obi-Wan,” You chuckled, reaching over to brush a strand of hair from his face. “Before we know it he’ll be sneaking off into town and wanting to move out and go on his own adventures. Besides, I quite like our little shack in the middle of nowhere.”
“Yes, I suppose our small corner of the galaxy isn’t so bad.” Obi-Wan’s smile widened at your laugh, letting himself lean into your touch causing you to trail your fingers down his cheek and letting your thumb brush across his beard.
Obi-Wan had been a good Jedi, he had followed the code despite how many times he had thought about you in ways that would have seen him thrown out. But five years had passed by since everything had changed and he couldn’t remember what he was holding on to anymore.
It was the easiest thing in the world to lean across, careful not to jostle Luke too much as he did, and press his lips to yours, enjoying the little muffled surprised noise you made against his lips as he kissed you softly, your hand curling around his jaw as you pulled him closer, both of you knowing in that moment that this was right, that the two of you belonged to each other.
“He’s not mad at you.” You told Luke softly as you sat down on the sand next to him, smiling softly as he lifted the toy ship Obi-Wan had gotten for him in the air and flew it around half-heartedly.
“Yes he is.” Luke mumbled, refusing to look at you as he spoke.
It had only been a few years and somehow your life had changed so much. You’d gone from relationships being forbidden to freely and openly loving Obi-Wan, overjoyed with the fact you could kiss him whenever you wanted, with the way you could tell him that you loved him as many times as you wanted.
You and Obi-Wan had been raising Luke for nine years now, the little boy next to you the same age his dad had been when you first met him and the resemblance made you choke up some days, especially when he started showing an interest in the ship you’d brought to Tatooine all those years back, wanting to know everything about it and begged you to let him fly it.
Neither you nor Obi-Wan had left the planet since arriving, that was until today of course. When you and Obi-Wan heard another ship landing outside your hand flew to your lightsaber, Obi-Wan had long since got rid of his and instead reached for a blaster that still seemed odd for him to have even after so long of him owning it.
Obi-Wan had told you to stay in the house with Luke, the little boy having no reason to fear whoever had landed and instead was curious, trying to peer through the windows. As Obi-Wan exited the little shack you joined Luke and stayed where you were for all of thirty seconds before you saw the person who walked off the ship.
You were out of the door and past Obi-Wan before he himself had a chance to see who had arrived and he watched as you wrapped your arms around the figure, barely catching Luke as he ran after you, most likely wanting to see the new ship rather than the new person.
“Bail!” You exclaimed as you pulled out of the hug, “It’s so good to see you.”
“Y/N, Obi-Wan.” Bail smiled before looking down, Luke suddenly shy and clinging to Obi-Wan’s pants. “And this must be Luke.”
“Not that it isn’t good to see you, Bail,” Obi-Wan said and you shot him a look, sure it didn’t bode well that Bail had showed up on Tatooine for the first time since you’d arrive but he didn’t have to jump straight into it, he could at least invite him into the house first. “But you wouldn’t be here unless something had happened.”
“I’m afraid you’re right. I need your help, Obi-Wan.” Bail said and you could see the exact moment Obi-Wan shut himself off, already shaking his head and not letting Bail continue before he cut him off.
“No. Whatever it is you can handle, I won’t get involved again. I have my own family to take care of.” Obi-Wan told him firmly, Bail frowning as he nodded, his eyes falling down to Luke before he sighed.
“And a fine job you’ve done it seems but I’m afraid I have to ask anyway, you know I wouldn’t but…”
“What is it Bail?” You asked him softly, seeing the fear he was trying to hide.
“It’s Leia.” Was all Bail said and it was enough for Obi-Wan to gesture to the house, all of you sitting around the small dining table as you sent a pouting Luke off to play in his room.
“You’ll be safe, won’t you?” You asked Obi-Wan, Bail had left not too long ago after Obi-Wan agreed to go and find Leia.
“There is no need to worry, my love, I will get the girl and be back home before you know it.” Obi-Wan assured, pulling you into his arms and letting his lips linger against your forehead.
“I wish I could come with you.” You sighed and Obi-Wan chuckled softly as he looked down at you.
“I’d rather you were here where I know you’re safe. Besides, somebody needs to watch over Luke.” Obi-Wan told you, grinning at the huff you let out.
“Yeah, yeah Kenobi, you go on your little adventure and I'll stay home and watch the kid pout about not being able to fly around the galaxy with his Uncle.” You grumbled with no real heat behind it, unable to stop a smile tugging at your lips as Obi-Wan laughed before pulling you into a kiss.
Luke had refused to say goodbye to Obi-Wan, instead he only glared at the ship as he watched it disappear from view before walking away, sitting a short distance from the house.
“I know you want to explore the galaxy but you know it’s not safe out there right now.” You told him and watched as he rolled his eyes.
Generally Luke was the sweetest child you’d ever met, so polite and well behaved but the one argument that always came up was Luke wanting to explore the galaxy. He had loved your ship for as long as you could remember, most days you could find him at the wheel, stirring it this way and that, or tinkering away on something that definitely hadn’t needed fixing before he started.
“You and Uncle Obi always say that!” He exclaimed and you felt your heart ache for him.
For years you had fought in the Clone Wars, for years you had battled Separatists and Sith and it was all for them, for the kids like Luke who would get to grow up only knowing the new galaxy you had fought for and not the one plagued with darkness.
Of course all that fighting had amounted to nothing, all the lives lost and hearts shattered, the thinking you were so close to victory only to have it snatched out of your grasp by a plot put together before the war had even began.
“I know we do,” you told him quietly, thoughts so far away on a life that felt like it had been lived a million years ago. “Luke I wish you could, I really do, we wanted the galaxy to be safe but it’s not, I’m sorry.”
“We can make it better!” Luke declared and you laughed even as your vision became blurred with tears, Maker you were tired.
There was no better, how could there be with the Jedi gone and only darkness left. You had given everything you had and it had ended with you at the end of blasters held by men you cared so deeply for. You were tired, the war had taken so much from everyone, you weren’t sure you could do it again.
“You’re growing up too fast.” You told him, reaching over to ruffle his hair and feeling lighter when he laughed but didn’t push you away.
“One day I’m gonna grow up and be the best pilot in the whole galaxy!” Luke told you and you desperately tried to blink away the sting of more tears because you had known the best pilot in the whole galaxy and you had no doubt that had things been different him and Luke would have made one hell of a team.
You didn’t say anything though, just pulled Luke into your arms and this time Luke didn’t fuss like he usually did, telling you he was too old to sit in your lap anymore. The kid was so aware of everyone else’s emotions all the time and seemed to know you just needed to hold him tight against you for a moment.
“He’s alive?” You exclaimed, days had passed and Luke had long since gone to bed by the time you heard the ship land. “Wait, is that why Leia was taken, does he know about them? Are they safe?”
“He doesn’t know, he has no idea who Leia is to him and he certainly has no idea that Luke exists.” Obi-Wan told you calmly after telling you what had happened on his mission to rescue and return Leia. “Nobody is going to hurt him.”
“Force, I can’t believe he’s alive.” You said, sitting down next to Obi-Wan, the man not hesitating to pull you into him after so long apart. “And you’re sure it’s safe for us to stay here?”
“I promise, if I didn’t think it was, I would move us immediately.” Obi-Wan assured you, kissing the top of your head as you let out a shaky breath, nodding against his chest as you let yourself calm down after hearing his story.
“How is Leia?” You asked after a few moments of silence, turning up to look at him and watching as a soft smile pulled at his lips.
“She is quite possibly the bravest little girl I’ve ever met. Considering she has no idea who her biological parents are she is so much like both of them, a stubborn, passionate, kind hearted little thing, ready to take on the galaxy.”
“She sounds like a certain little boy I know who’s been missing his Uncle.” You smiled up at him, “Luke thinks there’s hope for the galaxy, that it can be made better.”
“It seems such an impossible thought, doesn’t it?” Obi-Wan murmured and you nodded again, your fingers playing with his. “It can’t stay like this forever though.”
“I’m not so sure I could handle another war, even then we had the numbers only because of the clones, now what is there? A few people willing to rebel, I wish them all the luck in the galaxy but we tried once.” You sighed, the war seemed a lifetime ago and yet you could still remember how drained you were by the end of it.
“Sometimes a few rebels is all the galaxy needs, maybe not to win the war but to light the spark in others.” Obi-Wan told you, you humming softly before leaning up to close the distance between you with a soft kiss.
“I’m glad you’re back home.” You whispered against his lips.
“Me too, my love.” Obi-Wan murmured before leaning back in to press his lips to yours.
More time passed and before you knew it Luke was so grown up, grown up and even more eager to get out into the galaxy. You and Obi-Wan knew it had only gotten worse, sure people had tried to fight against the Empire but nothing worked, the galaxy only got darker.
Unfortunately you knew you couldn’t keep Luke on Tatooine forever, one day he would leave, the boy was too eager, too kind hearted to leave the galaxy as it was. He had so much fight and so much good in him, not only that but he was also strong in the Force. Obi-Wan and you had been teaching him the ways of the Jedi not too long after Obi-Wan had helped Leia, knowing the boy had already shown signs of being able to use the Force and wanting him to be trained in case something ever did happen, even if it did hurt to see Anakin’s old lightsaber again after so long.
Luke didn’t get the chance to argue again about going out into the galaxy, not when something new came along to drag you out of your safe space on Tatooine.
You and Obi-Wan had made a run into town, leaving Luke alone at the house, not that he stayed there of course. Once you and Obi-Wan left Luke found himself wandering around outside until he made his way onto the ship.
He had always felt at home on the ship you had brought with you, he dreamed of flying and though he loved his life on Tatooine with you and Obi-Wan he couldn’t help but want more. He had listened to the stories from both of you growing up, the tales from the war, the adventures you had had together. He wanted that, he knew he was meant for more.
He was startled out of his thoughts when he heard a crash near the house and he leaned forward in his seat to look out of the window, not seeing anything for a moment and then suddenly two droids came into view.
“Droids?” Luke murmured to himself, pulling himself off the seat and making his way off the ship, the droids spotting him immediately and the R2 unit zooming over to him whereas the other just mumbled to itself.
The R2 unit beeped at him and Luke frowned as he watched the unit crash into his legs.
“Whoa, hey there buddy, what’re you two doing so far out here?” Luke asked them both and the R2 beeped wildly at him again.
“You’ll have to forgive my small friend, he seems to think he’s on an important mission when really we barely escaped with our lives from the Empire.” The other droid told him and Luke’s eyes widened.
“The Empire? You know about the rebellion?” He asked with a grin on his face and the droid nodded.
“Of course, me and R2-D2 here are more than familiar with the rebellion.” The droid said, sounding as exasperated as a droid could.
“Yeah you two do look a bit banged up. You want me to patch you up, buddy?” He asked R2 and the droid beeped again like he was excited causing Luke to laugh. “Alright then, come up onto the ship, that’s where my Aunt keeps the tools.”
The three of them made their way onto the ship and Luke knew when you and Obi-Wan got back you were going to kill him but he couldn’t help it, he loved tinkering with the scraps you brought home from market, now he had the chance to patch up real droids, ones who knew about the rebellion no less.
“What did you say your name was?” Luke asked as he crouched down in front of R2 and got to work on him.
“Oh I didn’t sir but I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations.” C-3PO introduced himself as he settled against the wall and watched as Luke worked.
“Nice to meet you both, I’m Luke.” He smiled at them, grunting as he tried to get something that was jammed in R2 unstuck. “You’ve got something jammed good in there buddy, let me just-”
Luke was cut out as he was shocked by the R2 unit before a holo started playing, Luke looking towards the girl as her voice filled the ship.
“Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.” The girl pleaded and Luke frowned as he turned to the droids.
“What’s this?” He asked as the holo continued to play. “Who is that girl, why is she asking for help?”
His frown deepened as both of the droids shrugged it off as old footage, he couldn’t help but think they were lying to him. He didn’t know what reason they’d have to lie but two droids suddenly appearing and looking for Obi-Wan was strange.
“R2 says it is a private message for Obi-Wan Kenobi, he refuses to tell you anything unfortunately, sir.” C-3PO finally said after talking with R2 and Luke frowned before his face lit up.
“If you’re looking for Obi-Wan Kenobi I can take you right to him!” Luke said as he stood up.
“You know Obi-Wan Kenobi, sir?” C-3PO asked and Luke nodded excitedly, gesturing for the droids to follow him.
“Of course, Obi-Wan is my uncle, him and my aunt should still be in town, I can take you to him!” Luke grinned and the three of them made their way towards the town. It was a fair trek away from their house but it didn’t take awfully long to get there.
He had been to the town only a few times and each time he went he was never allowed to wander off despite being so curious about everything. This was the first time in his whole life he’d been by himself and he knew once the two of you saw him he’d be done for.
It was worth it though, the small thrill running through Luke, his first adventure!
It took some searching but eventually he found you and Obi-Wan, you were sitting together on a bench some distance away from everyone else and the second R2 saw you he shot off like a rocket, leaving Luke to chase after him with a yell and C-3PO to sigh to himself.
Your eyes widened as you looked over Obi-Wan’s shoulder, gasping at the R2 unit barrelling towards you. You were off your seat before Obi-Wan had noticed the droid and crouching down just in time for R2 to crash into you causing you to laugh.
“R2, is it really you?” You asked and the droid let out a series of excited beeps. “Force, what are you doing all the way out here?”
“Luke?” Obi-Wan asked and your head snapped up to see a sheepish looking Luke, C-3PO showing up behind him a second later. “3PO?”
“You know these droids?” Luke asked and you taped R2 once more before standing up and glaring at Luke.
“The question is how do you know these droids and what in the stars are you doing out here alone?” You asked him with a glare causing him to look down at his feet, kicking at the sand.
“They were looking for Uncle Obi-Wan!” Luke defended himself, “They have a message, a girl is in trouble, she needs your help!”
You and Obi-Wan shared a look, a girl needing his help, there was only one person in the whole galaxy who fit that description, young Leia Organa.
“Let us get back to the house, it isn’t safe to talk out here.” Obi-Wan murmured and you nodded in agreement, starting the walk back home, wondering what trouble had managed to find Leia this time.
“General Kenobi, years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars. Now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. I regret that I am unable to present my father’s request in person. But my ship has fallen under attack and I’m afraid my mission to bring you to Alderaan has failed. I have placed information vital to the survival of the Rebellion into the memory systems of this R2 unit. My father will know how to retrieve it. You must see this droid safely delivered to him on Alderaan. This is our most desperate hour. You once told me I would see you again if I ever needed help, this is the time. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.”
You and Obi-Wan were silent as the message finished, sharing a look between you, Obi-Wan standing and gesturing for you to follow him. When Luke went to follow you gave him a pointed look and the boy sat right back down again.
“What is Bail up to?” You asked and Obi-Wan could only shrug though he wouldn’t be surprised if his old friend was part of the new Rebellion. “We have to get that droid to Alderaan.”
“We’d need to bring Luke, we cannot leave him here alone.” Obi-Wan said, causing you to scrunch your nose in displeasure. “He will be fine, the boy is strong with the Force, one of the strongest I have seen.”
“Just because you’re right doesn’t mean I have to like it.” You mumbled causing Obi-Wan to chuckle and pull you into his arms, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“I know, my dear, believe me I want nothing more than for Luke to stay here, to never know the cruelness of the world beyond this place but unfortunately, despite our best wishes, the boy has grown up.” Obi-Wan told you and you couldn’t stop the stinging in your eyes. “He’ll be fine, we raised him well.”
“It wasn’t supposed to be like this, you can feel it too, I know you can, something big is coming. He shouldn’t be near it.”
“That boy knows he is made for something bigger than Tatooine, one day he may choose to fight and he will be a worthy Jedi. All we can do is give him the tools and guidance he needs to stay safe.” Obi-Wan said as he pulled you closer to him, smiling softly as you gripped his robe.
“We need a way off Tatooine, the ship is fine for small journeys but it’ll never get us to Alderaan in one piece.” You told Obi-Wan after pulling away and taking a shaky breath.
“We’ll fly it to Mos Eisley, leave the rest to me, my love.”
It only took a few mind tricks to get past the troopers, tricks that seemed to impress Luke, of course he’d been taught about the Force and what it was capable of but he had never actually seen anything like that.
Taking Luke into the seedy cantina was the last thing you wanted to do but Obi-Wan seemed certain you’d find your pilot in there. As you entered Obi-Wan moved away and began talking to somebody, out of the corner of your eye you saw Luke looking around in wonder before he went to move away, only stopped by you grabbing his arm.
“You stay with me, I’m still not thrilled you’re coming along but if you are you’ll do as I say.” You told him sternly, having Luke so far away from home had your nerves on edge, that mixed with the shift in the Force had anxiety running through you.
You couldn’t do anything about whatever was happening with the Force but you could protect Luke and that you would do with your life.
“Come on, Aunt Y/N, I’ll be fine!” Luke whined but didn’t try and pull away from you, moments letting stepping closer when a creature with four arms grunted at him causing you to snort.
As you walked further into the bar Luke got closer and closer to you until he was pressed against your side, his arm wrapped around yours like he had done when he was much younger. You couldn’t help but smile despite the situation and squeezed his hand before giving him a reassuring smile as Obi-Wan gestured you over, telling you about a captain who could potentially get you to Alderaan.
“Han Solo.” The man introduced himself as he sat next to the Wookiee. You glanced at Luke and elbowed his side when you saw him staring too openly at the creature causing him to pout at you. “I’m captain of the Millennium Falcon.”
You listened to him as he talked his ship up, Luke hanging onto the captain’s every word and you almost felt sorry for the man if he agreed to take you, knowing Luke would already have a million and one questions for him.
“Ten thousand, all in advance.” The captain told you and you watched as Luke gasped, rolling your eyes as you looked towards Obi-Wan.
“We could buy our own ship for those credits!” Luke exclaimed as he turned to you and Obi-Wan before snapping his attention back to Han.
“And who’s gonna fly it, kid? You?”
“I could! I’m an excellent pilot!” Luke declared, your gaze still on Obi-Wan, full of amusement as he looked at you in exasperation.
“Luke, why don’t we let your uncle do the talking?” You said softly, ignoring the wide eyes and pout that was sent your way. “Remember what I said.”
“Obi-Wan, where in the Force are you getting fifteen thousand credits?” You asked after the deal was struck and you had put enough distance between you and anyone listening.
“Bail wants the droid, I’m sure he won’t mind paying the captain who delivered it.” Obi-Wan told you with a grin.
“You’re sticking Bail with a fifteen thousand credit bill?” You laughed as you nudged him, causing Obi-Wan to laugh.
From then on it hadn’t taken long at all to sell your ship for the advance payment and before you knew it you were meeting up with the Wookiee and making your way to the Falcon, though once you arrived you had a bad feeling upon seeing it, wholeheartedly agreeing with Luke that it looked like a heap of junk.
“So much for no Imperials.” You muttered to yourself as you heard blaster shots and looked out of the window in time to see a swarm of them surrounding you but thankfully between the Wookiee and the captain were able to get you off Tatooine and into hyperspace.
Once you were in hyperspace you smiled as Obi-Wan tested Luke’s work with his lightsaber, knowing that something was bound to go wrong on this mission and wanting Luke to be as prepared as possible. Your smile didn’t last long though, if you thought something was happening with the Force before it was nothing compared to the sudden pain and terror you felt, gasping as you leaned back in your seat and watching Obi-Wan sit down.
“Something terrible has happened.” You heard Obi-Wan say and that was putting it lightly, you managed to push yourself to your feet before sitting down next to him, Obi-Wan’s arm wrapping around you and pulling you close as you buried yourself against his chest.
You stayed quiet for the rest of the trip, reaching out into the Force and trying to feel something but it just felt empty. Whilst Obi-Wan distracted himself with Luke, you followed Chewbacca and Han into the cockpit as he announced you were coming out of hyperspace.
You were glad for Obi-Wan following in not too long after, wrapping an arm around you and holding you against his chest as you staggered back once the captain announced you’d arrived but Alderaan was gone.
Everyone around you spoke but you were frozen, staring ahead at the destruction before you as Han flew through it, frowning at the space station that came into view.
“I have a very bad feeling about this.” Luke said and you moved away from Obi-Wan to pull Luke against you, the young man not pushing you away and instead leaning into your hold.
The fear in Luke's voice when Han announced you were caught in the tractor beam turned you cold as he turned to cling to you and you hated that he was on this ship at all, you knew nothing good could have come from it and now, if anything happened to Luke you’d never forgive yourself.
You almost gasped as you felt something in the Force, Obi-Wan turning to look at you and you knew you weren’t imagining it, you knew he had felt it too. You knew what had become of Anakin but to see his destruction, to see how far he had fallen first hand was different to hearing the stories.
You didn’t have time to think for too long though, the captain grabbing your arm whilst the Wookiee took Luke’s and they led you down to hide under the compartments. You waited until it was all clear and let Luke pull you up, him taking his spot pressed against you again.
You let Han and Chewbacca take care of the troopers outside of the ship before following them into the command centre, letting R2 find his way around and sitting against one of the crates in the room.
Anakin, no Vader had done this, he had been a part of the destruction of Alderaan. Your gaze shifted to Luke, your heart aching even more as you saw the fear he tried to hide, then you moved to look at Obi-Wan.
He looked like he’d aged so much since leaving Tatooine and you were sure you looked the same, you felt the same at least. After everything you’d lost there weren’t too many people you had left in the galaxy to trust and now Bail was gone, him and Breha and the rest of Alderaan wiped out and for what?
You knew Anakin was gone but you had to believe some part of him was in there, buried deep down. Surely he was tired of the fighting and the wars. Hadn’t you all had enough of it to last a lifetime?
Obi-Wan’s gaze found yours and he smiled though it was strained, you forced yourself to smile back though, forced yourself to push your feelings into the Force and focus on getting Luke out of here alive.
You listened as C-3PO told you that the ship could leave so long as one of the terminals lost its power and Obi-Wan looked at you, raising an eyebrow and you nodded.
“You boys can’t help, me and Y/N will deal with this alone.” Obi-Wan told them and you ignored Han in favour of turning to Luke.
“Y/N, don’t go.” Luke pleaded as he clung to your robes before you even had the chance to speak, him already getting teary eyed and you forced yourself to smile again, to use all your Jedi training to hide your emotions and project a calm you didn’t feel.
“You’ll be fine.” You told him, smoothing his hair from his face and bringing him close enough so you could press a kiss to his forehead. “If anything happens you know what to do, you are strong with the Force, trust in it and trust yourself.”
“Please don’t go, at least let me come with you.” Luke begged, a tear slipping down his cheek.
“Come on, none of that now. Nothing is going to happen to you, I promise. I don’t care how grown up you get on me, I’m not going to let anything happen to you, you will get off this space station.” You promised him, cupping his cheek and wiping away the few more tears that slipped down.
“Uncle Obi-Wan, I wanna go with you two.” He turned to the other man causing you to laugh softly and Obi-Wan squeezed his upper arm.
“You stay here, stay with the droids. They are of top priority and must be delivered safely. Now listen to your Aunt.” Obi-Wan said softly, forcing his own smile on his face before Luke nodded, seeing he was fighting a losing battle.
“The Force will be with you, always.” Obi-Wan told him before gesturing for you to follow him and you went with one last glance towards Luke, mouthing an ‘I love you’ to him and finding your smile wasn’t as forced when he whispered it back.
You and Obi-Wan kept silent as you made your way through the base, it was almost embarrassing how easy it was to move around unnoticed with so many troopers and imperial officers on board, Obi-Wan clearly thinking the same as he smirked at you when you snuck past another large group of stormtroopers.
“You can feel him too, can’t you?” You whispered as you and Obi-Wan pressed against each other to avoid another group. “Even with the darkness surrounding him, you can feel him, right?”
“Yes my dear, it is Darth, no doubt about it.” Obi-Wan told you with a heaviness in his tone and you reached up to cup his cheek, feeling him smile faintly. “How twisted the Dark side within him has become.”
“You’re not just going to disable the power, are you?” You asked him and watched as his face darkened, not giving you an answer out loud but he didn’t need to, he never had to, you knew him better than anyone in the whole galaxy. “Whatever plan you had to get rid of me, to distract me whilst you snuck away, change it right now because you are not doing this alone.”
Obi-Wan went to open his mouth but he could see he wasn’t winning this argument so let it fall closed and instead leaned down to kiss you, both of you holding each other close and savouring the feeling.
“I love you, Obi-Wan.” You whispered against his lips, feeling the way his breath hitched being so close to him.
“I love you too, my dear one, more than you could ever know.” Obi-Wan murmured back, placing one more kiss to your lips before pulling away and you continued on your way.
The two of you made quick work of shutting down the power to the tractor beams so the Falcon would be able to take off and it was easy to sneak past the troopers keeping watch once it was done.
You followed behind Obi-Wan, pausing when he gestured for you to wait as he went ahead, scouting the next room and walking into it. You frowned as he failed to give you the all clear after a few seconds and looked up and down the hallway before moving across.
“No!” You exclaimed as the door slid shut before you could enter the room, locks sliding into place, your fists banging against it doing nothing. “Obi-Wan!”
From behind the glass you could see Vader already in the room, cloaked and masked with his red lightsaber lit, an imposing figure that should strike fear but instead your heart just ached painfully.
“Obi-Wan, open this door!” You yelled and he turned around to give you an apologetic look before facing Vader, lighting his own lightsaber.
You couldn’t hear what they were saying but you winced every time their lightsabers smashed into each other. Pushing yourself away from the door you raised a hand and drew all your strength from the Force and yet the blasted door still wouldn’t open.
You never took your gaze off the two of them, eyes locked onto Obi-Wan the whole time as you watched them battle each other, tears streaming down your face as you pleaded with the Force to just open the door, desperate to get through to Obi-Wan.
You watched as Obi-Wan paused, still holding Vader off but turning to see something you couldn’t before you felt a shift in the Force again, this time instead of fear it was peace spreading through it and you felt your heart beating wildly as you shook your head calling Obi-Wan’s name as sobs wracked your body.
“No!” You called as watched him put his lightsaber down and Vader didn’t miss a beat as he swung for Obi-Wan, the man you had loved for years, for your whole life, fell to the floor before you, gone in the blink of an eye, leaving nothing but a lightsaber and his cloak behind.
As he disappeared the door flew open and you stumbled into the room, falling onto your knees as you sobbed into his cloak.
“Still so loyal to Obi-Wan?” Vader asked, he knew he had recognized more than just Obi-Wan on the space station but hadn’t been sure. “Pathetic.”
You looked up at Vader and it was Vader, there was no more mistaking him for Anakin, not anymore. The Anakin Skywalker you had known would have died before killing Obi-Wan.
Vader lifted his lightsaber again, ready to strike you down as he had Obi-Wan. There was a moment, it was only a moment that lasted no longer than a second, where you had to make a choice.
It wasn’t a hard choice, a thought you had had so many years ago back when you were young and exhausted hit you, a world without Obi-Wan Kenobi was not a world you ever wanted to be in. Even in just these few seconds it had been since Vader had killed him the galaxy felt emptier immediately, it felt like a part of you had been ripped out, an aching hole in you that would never be mended.
You had never lived in a galaxy without Obi-Wan and you didn’t plan on doing so now.
You were old and you had lived a full life, more than a full life. You had been a Jedi Master, you had fought wars and commanded armies, you had settled down with the love of your life and got to spend every day at his side, raising a child who was yours in every way but blood, a child you loved more deeply than you thought possible.
It had been a good life, tiring but filled with so much love, even before the Order fell and it was an emotion that Jedi weren’t supposed to feel. You loved the men under your command, spending years at their sides and becoming closer than friends, becoming a family as you fought together on the front lines, earning their respect by standing with them. You had loved Anakin dearly, helping Obi-Wan navigate his new life of suddenly having a Padawan and taking Anakin under your wing when Obi-Wan’s grief over the loss of Qui-Gon was too much and he needed to be alone. You loved Padmé and Bail, dear friends and two of the few people you trusted more than anyone. Mostly you had loved Obi-Wan, long before you had even truly known what that had meant.
It was a good life, a long life and you knew it was done there. You hoped one day Anakin would find his way back, that he would find a way to rid himself of such darkness but there was nothing you could do to help him, not now.
You were tired and you were at peace, ready to join Obi-Wan, sure he was waiting for you on the other side for whatever grand adventure awaited the two of you next and as you turned your head you saw Luke watching you, the boy crying but he wasn’t alone, his sister had her arms around him and you managed to mouth a final ‘I love you’, managed to see Luke choke out the same three words before Vader’s lightsaber struck you too.

Obi-Wan Kenobi was in love with you. He had been in love with you for some time but he was too afraid to see it, after all, Jedi weren't allowed to form attachments and he felt like he had formed a strong one with you. You felt the same though, of course you did, how could you not? He was extremely attractive, kind, caring and most importantly, he was loving. Obi-Wan was known to put other people first before himself and that was what drew you to him. But he didn't know. He didn't even have an inkling that you had feelings for him. You hid it very well that was, until that night.
Obi-Wan sat in bed on his holopad taking in the recent Republic News. Nothing new, interesting or important was happening on that front, so Obi-Wan threw his holopad to one side and sighed dramatically to himself. As he looked around his rather barren room, Obi-Wan felt his mind wonder to you. Your smile, your laugh, the way you held yourself in battle. He was wondering how you were doing, after all, it had been a few days since you had last seen each other what with your busy schedules and all.
"Maybe I should go and see her," Obi-Wan pondered to himself aloud. He checked the time: it was late and sure you were probably getting yourself ready to go to sleep but there was something in his gut telling him to visit you tonight. With another sigh, Obi-Wan stood up and took his carefully folded garments off the back of a chair situated in the corner of his room. He got dressed and silently made his way down to your quarters.
Conveniently, your quarters were quite close to his own, but, the walk felt like a lifetime. Obi-Wan found he always felt anxious when he was around you: his heart would beat rapidly, his palms would become sweaty and his mind would become clouded. However, he tried to ground himself, reminding himself that you too were a Jedi, just a Jedi. The halls of the ship were silent apart from the occasional trooper passing by on guard duty. Obi-Wan would simply bid them a goodnight, not bothering with pleasantries, before continuing on his way to your room.
As he reached your room, Obi-Wan felt his heart begin to race. He contemplated going back to his own quarters, but that feeling in his gut was still present telling him to knock on. Just as he was about to knock, he heard a soft whimper come from inside your room. Fearing you might have been hurt, Obi-Wan wasted no time in knocking and just barged in silently. When he entered his jaw dropped to the floor: you were spread naked on your bed, blanket pushed behind you, legs parted wide, eyes closed and two fingers stuffed inside your glistening cunt. "Mmmm oh fuck," you whimpered, biting your lip slightly. "Obi-Wan, please." His eyes widened at the mention of his name. You were thinking about him? Whilst touching yourself? Him?
Obi-Wan swore his brain had short-circuited for a second before he realised that your bedroom door was wide open. Panicking, he slammed the door shut with him still inside your room causing you to realise that someone had intruded on your 'private time'. Your eyes shot open and your fingers withdrew from your pussy, reaching out for the blanket propped behind you to cover yourself up. "Obi-Wan!" You screeched, fumbling to cover yourself up with the blanket. When he didn't respond, you shouted at him again. "What are you doing here?"
"I-I-" Obi-Wan stammered, trying to find the right words whilst trying to wrap his head around what he had just witnessed. He should have left. Why didn't he leave?
"Get out!" You yelled, throwing a pillow in his direction.
Turning on his heels, Obi-Wan swiftly exited your quarters. He pulled his Jedi robes over his crotch to cover the tent in his trousers and bolted down the corridor back to his quarters, praying that the clones wouldn't stop him for a conversation. When he finally made it back to his room, he rushed in slamming the door behind him and sinking to the floor. His erection was pressing against his garments that it became suffocating and uncomfortable. Of course he had thought about you in such compromising positions before, but he always felt wrong touching himself to thoughts of you and so he refrained. Up until now.
Obi-Wan was quick to stand up and take off his robes as well as the clothes that were suffocating him, discarding them on the floor without caring about future creases. He dropped his boxers and practically jumped on the bed, hand wrapped firmly around his length. Images of you sprawled across your bed with your fingers inside of your cunt entered his mind and Obi-Wan automatically began pumping his cock. Obi-Wan never touched himself, so the moans thoughtlessly fell from his lips. "Fuck," he cursed, grasping the base of his cock a little too harshly. His pace was rapid, haphazardly sloppy, as he chased his own high. Thoughts of you moaning his name so deliciously filled his mind and within mere seconds his orgasm washed over him. Stuttering his hips up to meet his hand motions, cum spurted out of his plush pink tip, spilling all over Obi-Wan's exposed stomach. Panting, he looked down at his spend and groaned. He wanted to feel disgusted with himself but with the post-orgasm haze the only thing that was really on his mind, was sleep.
Obi-Wan's eyes fluttered open as his alarm rung through his quarters. Blinking rapidly, Obi-Wan had managed to trick himself into thinking that what had happened had all been just a dream. That was, until he looked down at his stomach. With a groan, he rolled out of his bed and picked his robes up off the floor before making his way to the shower attached to his room. Turning on the shower and stepping in, Obi-Wan welcomed the water as he lathered himself up with soap, desperately trying to scrub off his orgasm and the shame he felt along with it. He stood there for what felt like hours, just letting the warm water fall over his skin, basking in the feeling of being clean. When Obi-Wan finally decided to get out, he turned the water off and wrapped an orange towel around his waist loosely. Plodding into his room, he heard a quiet but rapid knock coming from his bedroom door. Rubbing the back of his neck, he groaned and rolled his eyes before responding. "Hold on a moment!"
"Obi-Wan, it's me." Your voice rang through the door. "It's really important, I'm coming in."
"Wait, Y/N-" He tried to protest, rushing to the door in an attempt to stop you, but you had already opened the door and walked into the room.
Your eyes widened at the sight in front of you and you quickly closed the door behind you before walking further into the room. You tried to ignore the blush that had crept onto your face and attempted to ignore the fact that Obi-Wan was in nothing but a towel, his hair and beard dripping remnants of water from his shower. "We need to talk," you said simply, motioning to the bed. You sat down and patted the space next to you. Completely speechless with embarrassment, Obi-Wan obeyed your silent command and sat down next to you, closing his legs. "About last night-" You started.
"Don't," Obi-Wan interrupted you, holding a finger up. "We don't need to talk about it."
"Yes we do," you said sternly. "I didn't mean for you to see any of that. If I knew you were coming, I would never have engaged in such behaviour."
"I should have knocked," Obi-Wan replied. He couldn't help the fact his eyes trailed down your body before they landed on his own lap. "I thought you were hurt and my instincts just kicked in."
"You thought I was hurt?"
"I heard you whimpering and the thought of... Masturbation... never crossed my mind," Obi-Wan answered honestly, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm sorry Obi-Wan," you whispered.
There was a moment of silence between the two of you before Obi-Wan decided to talk. He wasn't sure where his question came from, but he couldn't help but ask. "Were you really thinking of me?"
Your eyes widened. "You heard that?" Obi-Wan nodded, almost sheepishly as if he should be the one embarrassed. "Oh Obi..."
"Were you?" He asked again, earning a nod from you in response.
"I know I shouldn't have been," you said quickly, holding your hands up to physically show your defence. "I-I couldn't help it!" You wanted to tell him you liked him, loved him even, but the words couldn't leave your lips. You had never really said it out loud yourself even though Anakin had teased you about it constantly. "Say something."
Obi-Wan looked at you as he brought up a hand to his beard to play with the strands of hair. "Did you finish after I left?"
Your mouth hung open at his words and a snort erupted from you in disbelief. "Of all the things you could say and you decide to say that?"
Obi-Wan looked at you. "That's not an answer."
You blinked at him before responding. "No. As soon as you left I got dressed and cried myself to sleep."
"You cried?"
"Out of embarrassment, yes of course," you admitted. Obi-Wan's hand fell from his beard and reached out to grab your own, squeezing it lightly in reassurance.
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about," he whispered, completely forgetting the fact he was in his towel now. "I was just surprised."
You nodded in response, licking your bottom lip nervously. You weren't sure what to say. You had said all you came to say. "I should go," you whispered to him, standing up.
"Stay," Obi-Wan said quietly. Almost begging you. He stood up with you, your hand still in his. With a slight tug, Obi-Wan had pulled you into his body. You were so close that you could feel his breath fanning across your face which brought another blush to spread across your cheeks as he looked down at you. You looked up and met his eyes, removing your hand form his and from then on, everything felt like it went in slow motion. Your hands raised to rest on his exposed chest as Obi-Wan's lips met yours in a chaste, soft kiss. Butterflies exploded in your stomach as Obi-Wan's lips melted against yours, moving across them almost effortlessly. "I love you," he admitted quietly into your lips.
You pulled away from the kiss and Obi-Wan rested his forehead against yours as you sighed happily. "I love you too Obi," you replied. As soon as you responded, his lips were on yours once more. This time he kissed you hungrily, as if all his admission of love was poured into this one kiss. You moved your hands away from his chest and wrapped them around his neck, pulling him closer into you. You were desperate for his touch. As if he knew, Obi-Wan's hands wrapped around your waist, resting on the small of your back. "I need you Obi-Wan," you whispered.
"I'm right here," he replied, chasing your lips.
"No I mean, I need you," you repeated, trailing your hands down his body and resting on the towel covering his cock.
"Oh," was all he could reply with as you sunk down to your knees.
"Is this okay?" You asked, asking for permission to de-towel him. Obi-Wan's breath hitched in his throat as he nodded, his cock hardening by the second at the sight of you on your knees in front of him. You smiled at him sweetly as you unwrapped the towel from his waist, eyes widening at his size as he became known to you. "Oh my," you whispered to yourself, but this earned a laugh from the man towering above you.
"Is it to your liking?" Obi-Wan asked rhetorically, his hand making it's way down to his cock, gripping it. You gulped and nodded in response, unsure of how exactly to voice your praises. You put your hand over Obi-Wan's and moved it out of the way before placing your own hand around his cock and gave a few experimental pumps. Obi-Wan groaned in response and bucked his hips forwards, earning a smile from you. Without hesitation, you licked your lips and sunk his cock into your mouth, hallowing your cheeks as you did. This made the Jedi above you whimper and his hands instinctually went to grasp your hair, pushing you further down on his length. You were embarrassed to say you could only take him in your mouth half-way. Obi-Wan's cock was long, veiny and thick, at least 7-8 inches and curved slightly at the top, but that didn't stop you from wrapping your hand around his base once more and sloppy wanking him off as you sucked. Obi-Wan shivered at this new-found pleasure, relishing in the feeling of your wet cavern around his member and your hand pumping away at the remaining few inches. "I could get addicted to this," he mused to himself quietly. You ignored his comment and dragged your tongue along the underside of his cock all the way up to his tip, swirling your tongue around the exposed head that had had your mouth metaphorically watering a few moments before. Obi-Wan decided to move his hips in turn with your sucking, forcing his cock further down your throat than you were able to take which caused you to gag slightly and pull up for air. You shot Obi-Wan an apologetic glance and he smiled back at you reassuringly, moving one hand from your hair to your cheek and caressing it with his thumb. You went to place his cock back into your mouth, but Obi-Wan pulled away, much to your confusion. "Let me taste you now," he whispered.
"Are you sure?" You stuttered, but Obi-Wan simply replied by hoisting you up to your feet and turning you around to push you lightly onto the bed.
"These are getting in the way," Obi-Wan said, motioning to your Jedi robes and your garments. "Take them off," he somewhat commanded. You nodded sheepishly and slowly began to take off your clothes, leaving Obi-Wan to relish in the sight of you naked before him once more, but this time, it was all for him. When your clothes were fully removed, Obi-Wan pushed your back against the mattress and pulled your legs apart agonisingly slow. He took a moment to admire your glossy cunt, twitching in excitement for him and what he was about to do to you.
"I've never experienced anything like this," you whispered lowly. You had no reason to be embarrassed, after all you were a Jedi. Jedi don't usually do things like this in order to ensure no attachments are formed.
"Neither have I," Obi-Wan admitted, looking up at you. "We shall experience this together. May I?" He asked, motioning to your cunt. You nodded in response, and without any hesitation, Obi-Wan dived into you like you were a five-star, five-course meal. The second his lips made contact with your folds, a moan of his name left your lips. This only spurred Obi-Wan on more, licking long, tentative stripes up your slick in an attempt to taste every inch of you. You grasped the bedsheets underneath and hoisted your legs up so that they were Obi-Wan's shoulders, giving him greater access to your sex. His tongue teased your entrance, begging to be let in, and your hands shot to his hair in an attempt to hide your embarrassment. However, Obi-Wan didn't pay any attention and instead forced his tongue into your hole.
"Oh Maker, Obi-Wan," you whimpered quietly. You threw your head back as far as it would go as Obi-Wan continued to eat you out like a man starved of nutrition. His tongue danced inside your cunt almost expertly and you were surprised that he had never done anything like this before with how well he was doing. Bringing you close to your orgasm already, one of your hands fell from his head and to your clit working slow circles on the sensitive bundle of nerves. "Obi-Wan, I'm going to cum," you announced.
"Do it, my love," he whispered to you. "Cum on my face. Now."
As if one cue, you came undone. Your legs began to shake violently over Obi-Wan's shoulders as your orgasm washed over you. Your vision spotted white and you looked down to see Obi-Wan continuing to lick up your folds, desperate to prolong your orgasm. "Obi-Wan," you whimpered as you came down from your high.
"You taste delectable my dear," he smiled at you, moving his face from your cunt and wiping your juices off of his beard. "I can't wait to feel you."
You looked away from Obi-Wan out of embarrassment as he began to line himself up with your entrance. He slicked the tip of his cock up your folds to lubricate and shivered at the contact. "Stop teasing," you almost begged. Obi-Wan shot you a cheeky grin before pushing himself into you slowly. "Ow!"
"Fuck," he cursed under his breath. He had only put the tip in and you were already gripping around him like a vice. "So tight."
"Don't say that," you mumbled. Obi-Wan bent down to kiss your neck, leaving trails of open mouthed kisses against the delicate skin around your jugular vein.
"I'm going to push myself in completely now darling, stay still for me and relax," Obi-Wan cooed into your ear. You nodded and took a shaky breath in as Obi-Wan pushed himself further inside of you, now fully sheathed inside your cunt.
"Shit," you cursed, grabbing onto Obi-Wan's shoulders in an attempt to keep yourself grounded. "Please don't move yet, I'm not ready."
"Don't worry darling, just tell me when," he replied, biting down lightly on your earlobe.
You nodded in response and waited a few seconds before giving Obi-Wan the all clear to move. "Okay," you said breathlessly. "You can move."
"I'll start off slow," Obi-Wan said reassuringly. True to his word, he started off slow, pulling his cock out of you completely before stuffing himself back inside instantaneously. You let out a quiet cry of his name as he repeated this motion a few times. "Does that feel good my love?" He asked, more so to reassure himself that what he was doing was right. You nodded quickly and wrapped your arms around his neck to keep yourself still. Although his thrusts were slow, they were hard, almost knocking the wind out of you with every movement of his hips.
His name fell from your lips like a prayer to whatever Maker may have been out there. Obi-Wan used this as an excuse to fasten his pace, thrusting in and out of you at insane speeds. Your head was spinning, another orgasm closing in on you before you even had time to recuperate from your first one and you were dragging your nails down Obi-Wan's exposed back, sure to leave marks later on. "Maker, Obi-Wan," you whimpered, trying to warn him of your orgasm.
"Are you going to cum again my dear?" He asked, feeling your walls tightening around his cock. You nodded qucikly, unable to speak. "Squeezing me so well," Obi-Wan choked out as he continued to drill into you. A whimper ripped from your throat as Obi-Wan continued hitting that spot inside of you continuously, forcing your second orgasm to finally wash over you. "Good girl," Obi-Wan growled into your ear. "Can I cum now baby? Please?" He asked, begging for permission to spill his load inside of you.
"Yes Obi," you replied, begging. "Please."
Obi-Wan let out a slight nod and lifted his head to watch your face contort into different expressions. "So pretty," he whispered to you, trailing one hand down your body to cup one of your breasts tenderly. "Going to cum inside of you Y/N," he whispered to you, never breaking eye contact. With a few more staggered thrusts of his hips, he came inside of you and with an extremely loud groan of your name.
Silence.
All's you could hear was Obi-Wan's rugged breathing through the ringing in your ears despite making intense eye contact with the Jedi hovering above you. "Y/N," he whispered to you, collapsing on top of you. "Was that okay?"
"Amazing," you replied breathlessly. When you finally caught your breath, you began laughing as Obi-Wan's weight became crushing. "Obi, you're crushing me."
"Sorry dear," he apologised, rolling off of you and into the empty space next to you.
You turned your head to the side to look at Obi-Wan and smiled at him lovingly. "We should do that again."
Obi-Wan nodded, returning your smile. "Only if you want too."
"Naturally," you replied with a laugh.
"I know we shouldn't, attachments are forbidden but, will you be mine Y/N?"
"I thought you'd never ask Kenobi," you smirked.
"Stay with me for a while, I have a council meeting I need to attend with Anakin later. It would be nice to have your company too."
"Are you sure?" You asked, tilting your head to the side. Obi-Wan just nodded in response, closing his eyes.
Maybe you'd have time for one more round before he had to go to that council meeting.

With your face bathed in a soft bluish glow, you scroll through the pages of the holobook that sits on your lap, only reading the titles of each chapter to see if there is anything relevant to you. Sitting with your legs crossed, you lean against the back of the armchair, which is located right by a large round window and has recently become your new favorite spot. It is only here that you can finally rest, letting your mind wander, and enjoy the rain gently pattering against the window, hiding the dark and busy city beyond.
Coruscant never sleeps and, apparently, neither do you. Especially not these last few days, considering you only have one day left until you embark on one of your longest and probably most dangerous missions so far. For this reason, you try to acquire as much knowledge about the planet and its habitat and inhabitants as you can in the short time since the Jedi Council gave you the instructions.
It is always hard to keep your cool in times of war, but it is moments like these when you can just sit here in the Jedi archives, alone, thinking about everything and nothing. For some inexplicable reason, it gives you a sense of security. The mission will probably cost you the last of your strength, but the end of the Clone Wars is in sight, and if this single mission can bring you a little closer to the end, then you will do just that. Giving your all and fighting for your values, for what is right.
Your eyes get caught on a chapter you find useful, and it is only when you change your sitting position that you suddenly feel a change in your surroundings. You do not even have to look up to know he is here.
"Still out and about at this hour?", you tease him, carefully putting the book aside before looking at him because let's face the truth, you can't take your eyes off of him for more than a few seconds. As soon as you do look at him, however, your heart aches in your chest.
The man in front of you has seen a lot of terrible things in this war and it only makes you want to end it even quicker. His hair is disheveled, probably from tossing and turning back and forth for hours to get his well-deserved sleep, which was obviously not granted to him in the end. Obi-Wan only returned to Coruscant today after being sent out to Kamino for several days, and has to leave again tomorrow, with you. Which is why you made it your task to spare him as many difficulties as possible, dealing with the necessary information intensely.
"I knew I would find you here", is his answer as he sits down on the armchair next to you, a small smile on his lips as he can't help himself but to softly run his hand over your head. "And before you tell me to leave and get some sleep: I can't."
"I know", you respond sadly, only knowing too well how it feels to run on low fuel and still not being able to fall asleep, letting the misery of this galaxy behind. Grabbing his hand, you push your palm against his before closing your fingers around it, squeezing lightly.
Reaching over you with his other hand, Obi-Wan grabs another holobook that you have carefully searched out a few hours ago, leaning back in his seat. But not before placing a soft kiss on your hair, whispering 'I'm proud of you' along the way.
Your heart painfully beats for this man. You know that all of this, everything you have build up, can be over tomorrow, and yet he does not disturb the peace you have built around here. He fades in perfectly and, with your hands intertwined, reads on, the soft glow illuminating his beautiful face.
You can't wait for all of this to be over. Because once it is, you will finally make him yours. And he will finally make you his.

He lied to him,Sheev Palpatine,The Sith called Darth Sidious lied to the man you most loved and he fell,fell to the dark side,though he did not fell entirely until he knew what Sidious said right after the helmet being put on Anakin's head, that Anakin "killed you."
"— Where is y/n?Is she safe?Is she all right?".-he asked slowly.
"-It seems in your anger,you killed her."-he said.
"—I?I couldn't have.She was alive,I felt it!".-Anakin,your Anakin now Vader says,he could not stand it,he just accepted become Sidious apprentice because of you,to prevent death,your death!But then he was the reason why you got killed.
Anakin is dead,the moment Vader were born,he fell totally to The dark side after the thought of losing you.
Only if he knew that you were alive with his babies,safe,Would ye try to bring him back to the light side of the Force?
Deep down your guts,you knew that your mere existence was a threat to Darth Sidious Empire.
You had Anakin love-heart in the palm of your hand,could you have now Vader love and heart and soul curly in the palm of your hand?Well,you've always believed that there's good in him.

[Mechanical sounds in the background around you echoes,RD-D2 and C-3PO are discussing in the corner of your medical room]
‐Oh no RD-D2, I couldn't live a life without our dearly master,what if she dies now?She shed a lot of tears and lose too much blood that I thought I could have been the one gone!!!-C-3PO was gesturing his droid hands-arm franctly desperate,it would have been funny if your vision wasn't blurred.
[RD-D2 beeps replied back]
You know Artoo is correcting C-3PO arguing back that you still alive.Yoda and Obi-wan efforts to make you be still should not be underestimate.
-Oh RD-2,thank you my friend,I'll try to being calm for the sake of our master.
You try to lift your upper body, but unsuccessfully you just receives a twinge at ye back that makes you squeak and makes you remain lying down, your body reaction and cry causes C-3PO and RD-2 notice you've woken up.
Relieved both of them, C-3PO clumsily rushes over to you, while RD-2 glides to behind him until arrive by the other side of your stretcher.
-"Oh heavens!" Oh heavens, awakening Mrs. Skywalker now is, Oh good heavens, grateful I am, Master y/n,what a huge fright you gave us, we thought you would die and I would not endure.
[RD-D2 beeps wittly sally C-3PO to control himself]
-I...I am glady that both of you worried over me.-you say with a weak smile staring at the two droids,their presence relieves you,until.
Lifting slowly a hand to ye womb,panic runs over your body noticing that there's nothing inside,your belly bump wasn't there anymore as a few hours used to,oh no no..You let your fear speaks lounder,what could had happened to your babies,what happened with Anakin?
Pale as a ghost,putting your hand on ye belly; "-They're not here...It couldn't be.." fear runs through your veins,cold sweats trips by your forehead and ye hands were trembling at this stage,the pain in your upper body doesn't matter anymore,you want your babies desperately,your newborns.
Lifting ye backs ignoring the cruel pangs and the wish to cry by pain,you change glances between the two droids.
Artoo e C-3PO, where are they?Where are my babies?-your bare hands stills laying down on your empty belly,with your tearful glossy eyes and the nose starting to burn,you won the droids double attention,you didn't notice that you had done some damages behind your back with some machines,objects and other stuff now down on the ground that caused shrill sounds.
[Beeps trying to say to you stay calm because everything it's Okay and that you doesn't need to worry,thus C-3PO is frightened,what if you smash him without knowing?]
-Oh master y/n!Don't worry,everything is fine fine,you must not being stressed,I will bring master Kenobi and master Yoda so you could calm down.
-I do not want them,Threepio!-you snap back in a desperate and angry tone,blaming them you're not,but you unfortunately smashed an innocent cleaner droid,being smart and quickly,Artoo beeps warning C-3PO that he have to stay with you while he would brings the Jedi masters Kenobi and Yoda until you,RD-D2 did not wait for any clumsy response from C-3PO,because he had already left the medical room in search of them quickly.
-That small and stubborn droid!What a good friend he's.-he forced a weak laugh.-So...Mrs.Skywalker before I can say something further,I beg to you not smashes me,just like what you did with the poor cleaner droid near you.-you looked at the small thing literally a few centimetres far from you feeling guilty.
-Sorry...-you stares back at threepio.- I just,sorry again for being rude towards both of you and I'll say sorry too to RD2 when he comes back,but...I just cannot remember Threepio, where am I?Where are we? What is this place,everything seems so confuse and my head is aching,my heart...-you put your hands now upon you chest.–It hurts...-your voice trailed off,the way that you said that, makes C-3PO feel for you,pitying you with sadness, you're exhausted, dare to say weak.-I cannot remember exactly what has had happened.
"A tragedy befell with you...
[...] Could you overcome it?"
The last things that you can remember are flashes through your memories,you reckon landing on Mustafar,a planet with an intense connection to the dark side,your desperate tries and brokenness heart that you got trying to convince and bringing Anakin back to the light side of the Force, so both of you could raise your baby,before you knew it was twins,the he choking you with the force saying that ye turned against him and right after you black-out,then a racking pain all over your body took place by giving birth  not for only ONE baby, but for TWO beautiful babies, fruits of your pure and innocent love watered down years before, that now the seeds has now been harvested. Through your shed tears and blood, alone.
How unfair is this?Your nose burns while warm tears falls over your cheek,  C-3PO attempts to calm you down in a clumsy, though empath way.
– I can't feel him, Threepio.-you shared with the droid in a soft tone,but holding as much as you can the sobbing tears.-I don't feel Ani,not anymore.-you look the droid which Anakin with such young age was able to build,C-3PO and RD-D2 the two droids that shared the best day of your life's,that day being your secret wedding day.-What have happened?Where are we?-you begged again.
C-3PO was ready to say something until a soft manner voice echoes behind your back herein with beeps sounds,R2 calling C-3PO to get out of the room with him,while the man by your back would now talk with you.
-Obi-wan.-you expressed a relief breath.-Where are them?-you asked for tour babies.
Kenobi search for one of ye hands caressing it."—They're with Yoda two room near to yours,but before I bring them to you,we must talk y/n,I will say to you everything that I know and what happened before you gave birth,okay?"
Totally,this is what you needed the most,now the truth even when you know that this might be a blow in your heart,an eternal wound in your heart.
[Explanation time skip]
If what my dearly friend is telling me is the truth,then my truly husband is gone.
He explained me after Anakin choke me to death and I faint that he fought his killer on Mustafar, he said the man were called Darth Vader,when the fight ended Obi-wan rushed to me with the droids taking me back to my shuttle,he asks to Yoda and Bail Organa to come over a planet called Poliss Massa where soon I gave birth.
Gladly I were able to survive,attended by medical droids,I gave birth to my twins Luke and Leia on Polis Massa,Obi-Wan being the one by my side while Yoda was watching all the scene,I was pleased that both of them looked after me,but...
-Where is master Calian?-I asked looking at Kenobi blue eyes now concerned.
-Y/n I don't think this is the right time,but.-he said,he said a thing that I most feared,master Calian Graham is gone,the man who trained me all these years, gone.
"Master Calian,you had promised me that you would be here,there for me when I most needed you to give me advices,I thought you would make it.Why aren't thou here?y-you must've see my babies. "- you says inside your mind.
How was his death?Kenobi didn't know and this riddle would perpetuate,Graham knew a bunch of forbidden stuff from the deleted jedi archives,it was impossible to kill him easily.
There's much more information that I knew my heart wouldn't bear, I couldn't stand one more bad notices,Obi-Wan still recalls me once more so my attention comes back to him.
-I am sorry,I'm so so sorry for being useless,I knew that something bad was coming and I did nothing to help,I'm so sorry.-I started again shaking and sobbing, but Obi-wan put his hands on my shoulders.
-You did nothing wrong y/n,some things runs out of our hands and there's is nothing more that we can do,but now I see that you deserve more than anyone a moment just to yourself enjoy these..-a slide door sound is heard, my heart beats getting lounder.
-Kenobi, leave Alden with her babies and talk we must.-master Yoda comes through the door with Bail Organa by his side carrying in his arms two little packages wrapped in a white blanket.
Kenobi stands up leaving my side,I was anxious to see my two beautiful babies I my arms.
-Mommy sees truly excited little ones.-Bail came to my side helding to me one of the babies,finally.
-This is...Luke.-you smiled caressing carefully his cheek while the Organa,a good friend of yours and your master was holding the girl,Leia.-Can I hold both of them?
-Of course ma'am.-Bail smiles giving now Leia to me ,both of them sleeping.
[Narrator]
All your attention is now towards the two babies,their roundy cute faces and rose cheeks.
They are at peace into their mom core embrace,they're safe,staring at them you are able to feel peace,nevertheless deep down with the New Galaxy Order,the things will just get harder.
- Mommy will do what I must to protect both of you,whatever it takes, my beloved children,I promise you.-you give em a peck kiss in their round rosy nose.
Bail observes you giving a tenderness grin, him and his wife are great friends of you, your master liked them a lot, knowing him well, you knew that Calian doesn't like much people, Bail presence is indeed good, but it reminded her him, him should've be here to you,Graham had to be here, but beyond anything else,Anakin should've be here too,for you and for your little family.
Someone clearing their throat behind you catches both of your attention, still holding your twins you look at Obi-wan figure, he look so tired, exhausted, though he still smiles at you holding his apprentice children.
- Bail, may I...- he did not needed to continue the phrase, Bail understanding his voice tone stood up saying to you better be better soon, wishing your well-being before leaving the room just so Obi-wan and you with the twins could be alone.
- Something happened? Are you bringing me good news or bad news? -you asked with a funny face, Kenobi laughed while walking to the seat beside you sitting down, oh thanks maker! You have made Kenobi smile and laugh after all this mess.
- Sure this time y/n, I guess I'm bringing good news, we have settled down a good planet so you and the babies could live at peace, you might raise them  without worrying if something will happen, do you want me to continue?
-Of course master Kenobi.-you say giving him a grateful and hopeful smile which he did the same.
-You don't need to call me master, aren't we friends?
You chuckles looking at him, you knew that he doesn't enjoyed you calling master after all the adventure you were by his side, you're his friend as much as you can reckon, you met him even a year before master Qui-Gon brought little Ani to the Jedi temple.
-You right, Obi-wan.-you replied with a smile without showing your teeths, you now glances between your babies to Kenobi.
-Master Yoda and I were thinking about a safe place that the kids would be safe to be raised by you.-he begins.- We were thinking either Tatooine or Dagobah, but Dagobah is not a place neither for you nor the twins, Tatooine is a good one, although I rethink about it and unfortunately wouldn't be so good due to the Hutt control spreading around and also due to the bounty hunters being constantly around, I also considered bringing you and the babies to live in your home planet, on Hawko, however something says to me that coming back to ye home planet wouldn't be a good choice, then...My dear friend.-he stops looking at my face at its reaction so he coul continue, I positively shakes my head.‐ Bail Organa suggested to us his planet, Alderaan, he said that he and his queen would've love to help you, giving a nice house on the countryside or even a dwelling house near their palace, only if you want go of course, he said that he would take you and the babies upon his care, it would shall lack nothing for you.
-Wouldn't we bother the Organas?-you ask shyly.-Oh Obi, we have already bothered you.-Obi-wan laughs smoothly shaking negatively his head,crossing his arms.
- No no y/n, you out of all people think, you're like family to me, master Yoda also considers you.-he continues.-It would be delightful to help you and also there's one more thing.-he waves a single finger.
-And what is it?-you adjusted Leia, you noticed the baby lips moving, she's hungry and soon the boy would be so.
Kenobi notices yours and the babies reaction, he need to be quick, so he could settle everything.
- I...If I'm do not bother you...-he stares at you.- I would like to help you, help you raise the babies until a certain age and I know that you are enough to look after them, the babies, but I don't want to risk neither your safety nor the children, if something happened to you and them...-he slowed down his tone, you noticed when his eyes drafted away from you, he seemed distant for a moment until he cracks back the attention to you.- Will you...
-Of course!I will gladly enjoy your support and presence, helping me raising the twins...-you smile at him,reassuring confidence to him.-Your help is well welcomed, so...If you plase, leave me alone with them, I would like to breastfed Leia and Luke, the might cry soon.- you laughed staring at the two beautiful faces.
Obi wan step back blushing, shaking lightly his head while fettling his robes, you knew he was happy with your answer, you knew that allowing him helping you raising the kids, Anakin's children means so much to him, he also had lost everything in this bloody unnecessary war, that Sidious were capable to create, remembering of his name made your heart ache, a thought were running through your mind.
When the time calls you, you will ruin everything that he built, nevertheless now, your obligation is with your children, Darth Sidious neither the Empire will took them from you, Anakin was everything for you, the only one, always....
Before you could have your grief moment, now you need to take care of your twins, come on, they are hungry.
Staring at them in fully peace between your arms, you start sobbing quietly.
-My cute beautiful babies, mommy will always be there for you,your daddy would also be so happy if he could be right here.-with both of your thumbs, you smooth their cheeks, then Luke and Leia whines, finally opening their eyes.- Okay okay, I know it's your milky time.-you tried to clean the tears from your cheekbones brushing them away with your shoulder, your last phrase just reassured your oath to your children safety.
Tumblr media
Obi-wan exiled himself, shutting down his contact with the force, after the twins sixth birthday, Kenobi talked with you about his exile and the moment he shutdown the force from his life, it hurted deep in your core, but you knew that he also needed time to heal.
Unfortunately this day wasn't the one that you longed for, today you visited the Organas Palace, you needed to attend Breha family meeting, all of you pretended to be Bail side family, unfortunately Luke wasn't feeling well today to come, so he stayed at your house being under C-3PO and R2-D2 watch, indeed they're the best babysitters, you knew whatever might happen with Luke,they would warn you instantly.Besides no
Leia today wasn't being a good girl, being honest she's her father's daughter, even though he wasn't present to look after you and the twins, while they were growing up their likeness turns out to be just like Anakin's traits, both appearance and personality.
[ Reader pov ]
The white metallic door slides open allowing me to enter the room, a royal servant follows me alongside.
- We're going to be late, honey.- I came closer holding a holopad.- Come on, let's hurry it along.-I stopped in my tracks, Leia force presence it's not here, hmm.- How is she? Is she ready?- I ask looking at the three handmaidens
- Yes ma'am.-one of them said, I smiled even though I knew that my girl isn't here.
-Great.-I tap in one more thing on the holopad then giving it to the servant near behind me.- Thank you.-he cordially leans taking the holopad.- Darling, remember, today the Queen's whole family is coming, uncle Bail and aunt Breha need their support, so try not to make anyone cry.- I take her hands cautiously leaning  down near her ears.- There will have sweetmallows at the reception after,if you behave well, I will let you...
Well, this was fun till I found it enough, not knowing where she would be at this stage just worries me, I look at this little girl hand and put down her hood revealing her appearance, definitely not my Leia.
I breathe deeply exhaling right after, the wee girl smiles at me.
-She insisted you would find it amusing, ma'am.- all I can do is change glances with the three handmaidens who quickly stares down at the floor.
I turn staring now at the servant behinds me,I lift my indicative finger suggesting the possible places where Leia could be found.
-She's either in the cellar, in the kitchen...- for a moment I sighs shaking my head to the side.- Or in the woods.
This young lady, she will see what will be waiting her when we come back home.Holding my dress hem while I were leaving the dwelling room in search of this wee girl, that again runaway using her friends to escape, so she could be in the woods, exploring and having fun, even though I told her many times that without me would be dangerous, what if she went far away now?
Bail already sent the guards searching for her, though I knew she would be smarter and faster than them, she would not even be caught, Leia wouldn't be so lucky in this time.
[Narrator]
And there she was, Leia was running through the trees while her small droid chirpy following her, until both of them were climbing a central tree, it seems to be Leia favourite spot to see and guess every spaceships that flies away.
Leia and Lola were discussing if the Aquillian Raider was scouting for Merson pirates or for traders.
- Leia Skywalker. – you exclaimed with a ringing breathy voice, letting go of your dress hem you look up to see your daughter amazement blank reaction.- You had to do this today ?- she stares at you looking from the tree and changed glances between you and Lola.
-Do what?- she says sheepishly, she knew this question were rhetorical, what a bold little girl.
- Down.-  you cross your arms, you do a single hand gesture, meaning to go down.
Leia change glaces one more time with Lola, before  putting her feet on the grass, she's was pouting at me.
You couldn't deal with her cuteness, you always need to remind that you is the Mommy here, even though you'd like to say "It's Okay, I'll let this pass just this time", unfortunately mama bear need to be tough against Leia cute features.
You muttered to yourself "-It's like raising a rebel Jawa when you say "give it back" and them do it anyway, plus ran away".
- No Lola for the rest of the day. -you say bolstering ye hand on your waist looking at Leia.
- But she didn't do anything.
- Shut her down.- Leia was ready to reply back to ye, but your features made she be quiet.- I mean it.
She stills with her wee pouting while shutting down her bestfriend, the wee droid.
[ Lola deactivates ]
Y/n firstly hides the droid behind her back, then holds gently Leia small hands, both of you going back to the Palace tracks.
-If you behaved as well as you climb the trees, you'd might be a senator already.- deep in your guts you rather have said; -"You'd be a Jedi knight already with such young age".
Leia sighs unsatisfied.
- Oh honey, we're running late, you'll have to change in the speeder. Come.- you haste your steps along with her.
-It's not like anyone would miss me if I wasn't there.
Now is your time sighing.
-Well, mommy would miss you, just like I am missing your brother herein too.
- Mommy, all I do is wave.
- Then little one, do more than just wave.- you knew that just waving is such a boring thing, mainly when her brother was not present as today, he is usually the one to enliven her up when you needed to attend preppy talk with the others adults.
Almost arriving your destination, unexpectedly Leia abruptly stops and apologise, you sensed that she's up to something.
- I'm sorry, mommy.- she says with a smooth voice almost melting ye heart with sweetness, this was so unfair, your kids already knows how to disarm you, just like Anakin once usually used to do before them.- I really am, I promise I won't do this again.- you stares at her giving in with her words, letting a small smiled escape.
Leia holds out her arms so you and her could share a hug, and there you are, you knew she was up something because when you hugged her, Leia tiny hands were working behind your backwards so she could pick up Lola back.
- You know, I can feel you doing it.- Leia quickly moves away, still near you, from you with a sassy sheepishly grin.
You huffed unbelievable, you can't bear her cleverness and subtle tiny hands with this cute smile.
-Oh young lady, come on.- you motion ye head  indicating the entrance way ahead.
Both of you starts again in your tracks, being followed by two guards behind.
- It's like living in a prison, mom.- Leia says unhappy holding your hand once more.
- A prison?- you asked with a curious, but not surprise tone.
- Yeah, I rather go back to our house and stay with Luke, he must be missing us mommy.
Oh your poor baby boy, Leia was right, so as soon all this meeting comes to an end both of you will pack your things and come straight home, what leaves you unconcerned is that you can trust leaving Luke under C-3PO and Artoo care, well rethinking about it...You are kind concerned now.
[ y/n pov ]
Before me and Leia alongside the two guards goes to the end of the entrance, I pin my head towards the woods, as if I was searching for something, I felt a quiver down my spine as if we were being watched by someone hidden on the woods, my mind is like a speeder right now, the force is trying to tell me something, but I don't like it, because it was trouble and within trouble there'd danger.
I squeeze my daughter shoulders, making her hurry to go inside, I need this meeting comes to an early end, I wanna go home with Leia and see if my Luke is fine, oh Maker...
Before all of us disappears in the hallway so Leia could change her clothes, I stops in my tracks looking back again, scouting for something in the woods, all that I sensed was an upcoming danger.
Tumblr media
( 𝐏.𝐒: Why you, 'Luke and Leia need to attend this kind of events? There's a quick explanation; since you all were brought to Alderaan, Bail and Breha took both of you under their protection which as a result all of you received a new life, new names and some other stuffs, therefore there's one more thing that I need you to know, y/n is now under the surname Organa, though when you're alone or in private you calls your twins by Anakin's surname.)

a portrait in flesh・obi-wan kenobi x f!reader
Tumblr media
this is completely self-indulgent pwp filth, but i hope you enjoy it for what it is and don't take it too seriously. ♥️ writing this was… an experience. i'm quite proud of the final result despite its flaws. not a single word in this is holy or ethical.
⚠️ warnings for possibly unfaithful marriages, age gap and unsustainable/unhealthy relationships. this is a college teacher!au. DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU’RE A MINOR OR IF ANY OF THE AFOREMENTIONED WARNINGS MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE IN ANY WAY.
wanna send me a prompt?
summary: you're fucking your strikingly handsome (and married) college teacher. simple as that :-)
word count: 2.568
“I’ve missed you terribly, sweet thing.” Is what he manages to mutter between the feverish, desperate kisses you share after you arrive at his office. He does his best to close and lock the door as you cling to each other as if you’re lifelines to one another.
Maybe you are. At least when it comes to how you feel about him - definitely not the other way around.
“I’ve missed you, too.” You answer, panting, as you breathe each other’s air. You bask in the look of his eyes, hungry yet so full of adoration for you, before he buries his face between your neck, leaving languid open mouthed kisses in your burning hot skin as his hands press you against him, your back already slightly sweaty due to how anxious and eager you were to see him again. You can’t help but wonder how many other girls have had this pleasure of feeling so exclusive yet so ordinary below their college teacher's wicked touch. “I hate staying away from you for as long as I did this time. It’s torture.”
Even with the relentless and atypical heat of that spring, you feel a chill creeping up your spine due to the weight of your words and the anticipation at a new sight: Obi-Wan Kenobi, after taking his fair share of sighs and moans from you just by kissing you just right and coyly moving you towards one of his office’s walls, kneels in front of you, lifting your leg so you can support yourself in his, then lifting your flimsy sundress up your hips and rolling your underwear down your thighs as if the ripest and juiciest fruit in existence is about to escape from his grasp without him having a chance to have a taste. Quenching his fears, your hands aimlessly search for something to grasp onto as one of them finds his so very soft strawberry blond locks and makes itself at home, inviting him to come near where you need him the most.
Perhaps in an attempt to make this last longer and in an impressive show of self-control and pacing - as an empty office, completely free for yourselves is not a very common occurrence, too - he follows your anguished, wordless beckoning with unhurried kisses in the inside of your thigh as he comes closer and closer to your pulsating core. Your heat emanates in waves that have an intensity to them that if he were to leave you hanging for much longer, you’re pretty sure you would make the ground shake. “Please, Obi,” you whisper, brokenly.
“How could I ever deny you?” Is his raspy answer as he locks his mouth deep on you, making your eyes water before they close and your lips part in a silent moan at the relief and sheer blessing he’s conferring on you. You feel his tongue expertly exploring every inch of your inner labia that it reaches, spreading the blooming wetness dexterously as it satiates its owner’s thirst for you. His grayish blue eyes watch your every reaction attentively when they're not closed and lost in pleasure as well, one of his hands caressing your leg and the other holding your hand firmly to keep you in place and make you think that he’s there and he cares about you in more than just one primal way.
Your chest heaves as long drawn breaths and hushed words of praise come out of your mouth. Your fingers pull him even closer to you and he groans at the contact, reverberating his desire directly back to you as his talented tongue glides against your cunt at the perfect pace. Once he feels he got you just the way he'd wanted, to your utter dismay he stops the stimulation and stares cockily at your befuddled reaction, saliva and your wetness glistening on his beard. “Why?” You notice your hips bucking on their own volition against the air as a drunken haze takes over you, nothing mattering but the prospect of a release hanging in front of you like the most unreachable gift.
He fondles your hip bones with a perverse smirk on his face, as if he's taming a pet. “I wanna get you ready the proper way.” His hand then disappears between your thighs, opening a bit more space between them. After you promptly give it to him, two of his fingers are easily swallowed by your warmth and his mouth is at work for you again. The sloppy yet cunningly calculating nature of his movements, along with how dirty and loud your body sounds above him as you're deliciously stretched, is enough to make sweat drops bead all across your body and the tides of pleasure rippling across your senses become higher and longer, a climax no longer being that elusive of a expectation. You can feel him swallow more of you every minute, his effect on you sweetly tangible, your taste on his tongue addictive.
Kenobi flattens his tongue in your pussy and picks up his pace finger-fucking you once he hears - or better said, stops hearing you - as you're gradually reduced to unspoken pleas that get lost to the immense arousal you're feeling, your expression nothing more than firmly shut eyes and a neverending quiet moan. His eyes make abundantly clear how determined he is to make you come undone for him. “Doing so well for me, love.” He hisses between curses and broad strokes at your cunt. “So fucking delicious.”
His next move is something that the worst best way to describe is vacuum sucking you. The tangible sensation of his tongue swirling in your folds appears every so often when he does that, but you feel full and contemplated nonstop by it in a way that nothing, not even your best sex toy, compares. It doesn't help them that they aren't surrounded by the most gorgeous face and body you've ever seen on a man. “Don't-ah-don'tfuckingstop,” you struggle to beg, praying to God with all your might that Obi-Wan doesn't interrupt that sweet, fixed pressure in your clit that makes you feel so impressively and properly taken care of, your hips chasing a proximity to his mouth that you're not sure the English language has a word to accurately describe. You notice him adjusting himself inside his pants – that must've been affecting him greatly too. “Just like th-that.” Knowing you’re close, he adds a third finger to your welcoming cunt, making your spine arch at the intrusion and a little whine escape from your throat. His digits fuck you mercilessly, and with a quick glance down you can see how wet his forearm is.
Before you can lose yourself to the bliss again by closing your eyes and focusing solely at how good he's making you feel, he commands between muffled grunts that vibrate in your clit: “Keep looking at me.”
“Okay. Fuck.” Your pitch is impossibly whiny and your walls are fluttering tight around his digits as you keep bucking your hips against his mouth. “Ffffuck, Mr. Kenobi–ah!” You can't keep the tear from escaping your eyes this time, yet another part of you that's dripping wet. Your toes curl and your thighs start to tremble - you're certain that that's how humans began to think that miracles existed.
Greatly enjoying how you respond to him, he sucks a mark into your inner thigh, pace of his fingering not slightly different. Before you can combust without him tasting you while you do, he locks his lips in your sensitive bundle of nerves again with that stupidly effective technique of his and that's it. You come with a violent tremble and a gasp that almost makes you escape out of his grip, his arms keeping you in place as he swallows every last drop of your satisfaction and cleans you up until you’re overstimulated. Your panting echoes in the lush halls of his workplace. “Holy shit. How… how the fuck do you get even better at it every time?”
He answers just by getting up and kissing you intensely, his characteristic taste mixed with yours making for an exquisite act of lustful affection. You motion to take off your dress, and he stops you. “As much as I love seeing you, darling, there's something else I had in mind as we’re not alone in the building and time is of essence,” he coos. “I have some very important calls to make. Care to have a seat?”
A little confused at his request, you move towards the armchair opposite his before you notice he’s already comfortable in his own seat, legs splayed wide as he makes a show out of his tented tailored pants, one of his hands seating comfortably at his thigh. He taps it softly, inviting you with a sinful grin, his strained voice sending a lightning straight to your spent (but never dead) pussy. “Wrong place.”
“God.” You purr, a smile blossoming on your face as well as he readies himself, freeing himself partially of these pesky layers of sophisticated clothing keeping him from becoming one with you. You do as you’re told, moving to the other side of the desk, then adjusting your body and your heat so you can bury yourself to the hilt of his cock, facing him.
You’re still very sensitive, which makes this entire situation even more hot. Judging by the hazy look on his face, he’s enjoying the view. After unhurriedly impaling yourself on his throbbing, thick length, you then straddle him very slowly, trying not to be loud even if the friction of your clit against his auburn curls threaten to drive you crazy once again. You can feel him twitch inside of you and you sincerely wonder if he’ll be able to talk to someone feeling and acting as pussydrunk as he is.
As if your eyes conveyed the challenge, he picks up his phone and chooses a contact.
“Hey, love,” he says, trying to keep his composure intact while talking to Satine and guiding your hips with his hands. “You alright? I just called to ask you about that email you forwarded me. Have I got its message right? Did Dooku really quote me on a study of his?”
You wrap your arms around his neck, faintly listening to her reply while managing to keep yourself eerily silent, your riding catlike in its discreteness. He then leaves his phone on the table, on speaker, so he has more access to your body. His hands explore your belly, your breasts, your clit below the fine material and there's nothing you want more than to just be ravaged by him. “Hello, darling. Exactly! Can you believe it?” Satine goes on and on about the article and behind his unaffected façade you can see this is being incredibly hard yet delightful for him. The kinky son of a bitch.
“Wow. Took him long enough to recognize, but better late than never,” he replies, his jaw quietly drops at the sight of you taking his ring finger on your mouth and sucking on it, your nerves on fire with the thrill of how nasty you two could be. “Thank you for telling me, sweetheart. I wrapped up things around here for today, I’ll grab some takeout on the way home. I’ll arrive shortly.”
“Alright. Love you.”
“Love you more.” He murmured, turning off the call in a hurry. What a smug motherfucker. She couldn’t hear a thing - or could she? Could it be that they were both perverted fucks?
“You fucker.” You croak, picking up your pace the same instant you’re sure you cannot be heard by nearby ears. Chasing his climax with the same determination as you, his pulsating hardness never leaves you as he props you up and places you on the edge of his desk, making you yelp. “I thought you said calls, plural?”
“Couldn’t wait.” Absolutely not caring for whatever was placed in it before, Kenobi hastily pushes everything away before his cock disappears into your body in firm, steady thrusts he quickly gets lost in. “Fuck. Such a filthy little slut for her professor.” His hand comes to the base of your neck as you look at him through lowered lashes, nodding in agreement. He leans down, slotting his mouth against your already swollen lips in a kiss that you feel sucks your soul away from you in the best way possible. Fingers dig into your hips as he fucks you like he wants it to hurt, like how you love it to feel like, making sure to leave bruises beneath his touch; bruises that you always eagerly accept. “Isn’t it true?” He whispers conspiratorially against your lips.
You agree breathily between broken moans. “Ye-yeah. I’m anything you like.”
“Needy thing. You feel so good around me.” His groans encourage you to wrap your legs around him so you can feel him pound deeper into your cunt, and he leaves new hickeys on your neck in an attempt to muffle his own sounds. He adjusts his position so he’s able to lock his lips in one of your nipples while he drills into you and the sight alone is beautiful enough to push you closer and closer to your own release. He notices. “This time, not until I tell you to.”
“Oh my god.” You sigh, not knowing what to do with yourself as it’s so imminent, so quickly disarming-
His pace changes to a much more mechanical, slower one. But still earth shattering. So fucking deep and fastidiously precise. So close yet so far. “Do you want to kill me? Do you want me to fucking die on this desk?” you whined.
“Death by cock. Sounds rather nice.” He chuckles, breathlessly, his own control slipping through his fingers at each pump.
He pulls you closer, hand firmly grabbing your hair by the root as his hips start stuttering, and gradually returns to a relentless pace. You’re reduced to pathetic whimpers and sounding like you’re about to cry as that coiling tension grows impossibly tighter in your lower abs. “Please, Mr. Kenobi. Please. I need to cum.”
“God almighty. Fuck,” He whispers, voice drowned by the obscene sound of smacking flesh that took over the room. “How the fuck,” he pants, “could I ever deny you?”
And with his blessing, your walls spasm and contract around him as even more powerful shockwaves hit your body. You can feel the edge of your vision blacking out, the drag of his cock filling you as you pant his name until your voice cracks and you come hard on his length. This is probably one of the best orgasms you’ve had in your entire life, probably shared in one cosmic plane because it also pushes him over the edge, your pussy milking every last drop of his seed.
“Was it worth the wait?” He asks, taking his softening cock out of you and fixing his hair and attire the best he can, leaving you to take care of the mess you’re in by yourself. That goddamn dress is gonna be quite something to wash.
“Definitely. Will I see you again soon?” You ask, trying not to sound that gullible. Trying to sound like you’re not at all attached to that thing you have with him.
“Hopefully.” He gently kisses your forehead, looking at his watch to check if there’s still time to grab that takeout.

Imagine: Helping Obi-Wan Kenobi in a space battle.
~~~
"Oh, I have a bad feeling about this."
Tumblr media
"At what point would looking at a space battle give you a good feeling exactly?" You countered, your ship following a little ways after his.
"If it ended in peaceful terms." General Kenobi's voice sounded in your ear.
"Fair point. An interceptor is coming up on your left."
"A little busy at the moment."
Seconds from locking on target, you said, "I see them. Don't get your beard in a twist."
Two shots and the droid ship was garbage.
"You're clear." You announced. "Have fun with--oh, Force help us. Is that--?"
"Nothing we can't handle." Obi-Wan said confidently.
Pls feel free to ignore but can I get some soft protective Obi-Wan? I’m going through it at the moment ❤️❤️😍 So happy to see you emerge!
i am so happy to be back! i hope you feel better soon <3
obi-wan is very understanding that you can look out for yourself and that you don't need his protection, but the minute he thinks you're going to be hurt, he's there no questions asked.
maybe you're in battle together, or you've just come back and you're injured; the poor man is trying to walk the line between showing you he cares and not outing your relationship to the council
so really, his main thing is getting you somewhere private. obi-wan is a strangely good liar, and he's pulling you away from the nurse droids, murmuring something about a fear of medical spaces and really, it would be better if i treated them so we can have a mission debrief
it works. probably because they're droids and they're not programmed to argue about these things. also, why he is panicking about outing your relationship to droids, who are also not programmed to give a fuck about that probably? just realised that as i'm typing. but it seems like the kind of silly thing that would r/whoosh over obi's head so. i'm going to keep it.
anyways, he has you on his bed in seconds, hands roaming all over your arms, whispers of i'm so glad you're okay and where does it hurt? and tell me what you need, my love.
it takes you a second to get your brain in order, mostly because you're probably concussed and the room is spinning, but it's something he deduces quickly.
after babysitting anakin for years, his medicine cabinet is actually better equipped than the jedi infirmary so whatever injury you have, he's got something to help it.
you don't say much whilst he's bandaging you up - you just let him do his work. more for his sake than for yours, because you don't care if you're a bit dizzy for a few days or that your bruises might linger, but he definitely does.
once you're a bit more with it, that's when obi becomes especially affectionate. he just sorta lays there with you, arms around you and holding you to his chest.
that's when you both calm down, just listening to each other's heartbeats and taking comfort in the fact that once again, you made it home safe, and you're both alive and well. alive and mostly well, in your case.
of course, there's a lecture about safety in the morning
but you've come to enjoy those too
Prompt - ‘Do something, babe, say something. Lose something, babe, risk something. Choose something babe, I got nothing to believe, unless you're choosing me.’
Notes - I know I posted a House version of this yesterday but this song has such a hold on me so here's Obi-Wan's version.
You had known Obi-Wan your whole life, had trained by his side since you were children and formed a friendship that had the older Jedi raising their eyebrows and whispering about attachments. You had been inseparable since you’d met, drawn to one another like it was the will of the Force and never once drifted apart from each other in all your years together.
It wasn’t until you were a few years older, well into your Padawan training, that you both began to see your friendship had transitioned into something more, something that had you feeling lighter than ever, something that had your chest feeling warm and your cheeks heating up.
You were in love with Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan who was always there when you needed him, Obi-Wan who was always ready to pull you into his arms and talk about everything and nothing for hours, Obi-Wan who never hesitated to stand up for you when you let people put you down. You were in love with the man who stood for everything good, who was so kind and patient, who never gave you anything but fond and happy memories.
You loved him and you didn’t know what to do. What was there to do when you dedicated your whole life to an Order that forbade attachments? You couldn’t fathom how the Order could think something as beautiful as the feelings you felt for Obi-Wan could possibly lead you down a Dark path.
Obi-Wan had known he was in love with you for a long time, from the moment his gaze started to linger on you for a little longer when you looked away, from the moment he realised he longed for your company when you were pulled apart by separate missions, from the moment he realised all he wanted to do when you smiled at him was to pull you in and taste your lips.
He hadn’t been able to stop himself from doing just that when he was finally able to steal a moment alone with you when you returned from a mission two weeks later than intended after peace talks had turned violent and you and your Master had gotten caught in the midst of it.
You hadn’t had more than a moment to register what was happening before you felt Obi-Wan’s lips on yours the second you walked into the room, freezing for a moment before sinking into the kiss, relaxing for the first time in weeks as your hands gripped Obi-Wan’s robes, both of you needing to assure yourselves you were safe.
From there everything evolved until you were sneaking around the Temple, keeping your relationship a secret, knowing you were breaking the rules and not caring if it meant you got to call Obi-Wan yours. It didn’t matter that you couldn’t tell anybody, it didn't matter that your relationship was built on stolen moments and secret meetings, you knew one day things would be different, you didn’t care about anything else.
The secret lasted well into knighthood and when Obi-Wan became a Master, having to train the young Skywalker boy it put a strain on your relationship. Suddenly it wasn’t just you and Obi-Wan sneaking around together, ignoring the whispers and the knowing glances from Qui-Gon as he left the quarters more and more frequently giving you and Obi-Wan plenty of time together. Suddenly in the space of one mission there was a Padawan and no time for stealing time together, now it was all about longing glances as the other was thrown more and more into their duties.
Eventually though it became easier to deal with, you and Obi-Wan were assigned missions together with Anakin coming along but as the years went on you made it work. You were sure the Padawan knew there was something going on between you and Obi-Wan, the cheeky grins and badly concealed winks he sent Obi-Wan’s way as he came up with excuses to leave the room for a while gave as much away,
You weren’t complaining, you loved any time you got to spend with Obi-Wan, you wished for more days that were spent laying side by side whether it be in a bed or a field littered with flowers but you knew that this was all he could offer you and all you could offer him right now.
So it went on like that, years passing by in secret as you loved each other quietly. You wanted it to be enough but there was a small part of you that was more and more persistent as the years passed, hopeful for something more.
You knew you’d leave the Order for the man, all he had to do was ask. You wanted him to ask more than anything, wanted him to steal you away in the middle of the night and put as much distance as possible between you and the rules of the Jedi Order. You wanted to build a life with him, one that didn’t need to be clouded by secrets and lies, one where you could kiss him whenever you wanted without always looking over your shoulder.
You wanted him to ask you.
He never did though and when the war started you pushed all those thoughts away. It wasn’t the time to leave, that’s what you told yourself anyway as you threw yourself into the war efforts, aching as you and Obi-Wan were separated yet again, only reunited when the Council ordered it.
There were a few times you got to spend longer together, days that were spent on Coruscant, still surrounded by the war but easier to ignore as you made your way to Obi-Wan’s quarters after a long day of consulting with the Council.
“I’d say that was a rather successful meeting, wouldn’t you? If what we have planned works we’ll have Akippee in no time.” Obi-Wan grinned at you as he moved around the quarters, seemingly unable to try and leave the war outside of these walls, to savour the little bit of time you were able to have together.
You just hummed at him and let your fingers trail along the back of the sofa as you looked around the room, the room that had once brought you peace, had felt more like home than any place had before, the soft orange hues lighting the room but now it felt different, it felt empty.
Obi-Wan continued to talk, hardly noticing the fact it was a one sided conversation as your mind went into overdrive. You weren’t sure how he couldn’t see something was wrong, how could he glance over at you and smile, how could he chuckle and speak and not notice you were miles away questioning everything?
Eventually Obi-Wan led you into the bedroom, stating that you must both be exhausted from such a long day and it wasn’t long until the lights went out. Obi-Wan fell asleep easily, not pulling you close to his chest like he would have years back and you ignored the way another bit of your heart withered at the loss.
The sound of Obi-Wan breathing evenly and shuffling every so often used to comfort you, it used to lull you into a peaceful sleep and leave you well rested. Now it set your nerves on edge, it made you feel like you were alone even though you could reach out and touch him, though the space between you felt infinitely bigger than it was.
As he slept you stayed awake, sat up staring into the darkness of the room, letting your thoughts run wild, letting yourself wonder what was happening, letting yourself wonder if it was time to face the reality of what had become of you and him.
You loved Obi-Wan, the man was all you had ever known and you didn’t want to know anything else. You loved him more dearly than anything in the whole galaxy and yet here you were with him, feeling lonelier than you had ever felt in your life.
All you wanted was a life with Obi-Wan, you wanted a proper, real life with Obi-Wan. One far away from the rules and regulations of the Jedi, one where attachments weren’t something to be feared, one where you could kiss him freely and without judgement, you wanted to give him every part of your life, you wanted to be his wife, you wanted to give him a family.
You wanted to give him everything.
You had tried to deny it for so long, tried to convince yourself you didn’t actually need that. You didn’t need to be Obi-Wan’s bride, you didn’t need to start a family with him and live your life openly to prove you loved him.
But it was never about proving anything, it was just something you wanted so badly and Obi-Wan had never given any indication he wanted anything more than you had. He seemed so content with what you had, never going forward, just staying where you were.
There were too many problems with your relationship, sure the war could be blame for leaving you without seeing each other for months on end but you truly believed if the war hadn’t happened this would still have been the outcome, maybe it would have bought you a few more months maybe even years but it was always going to end up here.
There were too many problems and Obi-Wan didn’t see them, either he refused to see them or he was really so blinded to them. When you finally reunited it was like there was no time apart for him, like everything was still the same. Your heart was breaking and he was fine where you were.
It was falling apart, you could see it breaking down before your eyes and yet Obi-Wan couldn’t. You wanted to scream at him, beg and plead for him to do something, to show it meant something to him, to show you meant something to him. You wanted him to take a risk, to leave the Order with you, to show that he would choose you. But he never did.
That night you slept fitfully, feeling even more drained than you had been the night before, only able to glare at Obi-Wan in the morning with a storm of emotions in your eyes as he went about getting ready for the day whilst keeping up a steady stream of conversation. He looked at you with a smile on his face and you wanted to scream some more, wanted to shake him and beg him to look at you, to see that you were dying, to see that he was losing you.
All you wanted was for him to see you, to see the mess that was your relationship and fight to save it, to do something to show he loved you. You wanted to believe your relationship could survive but your heartbeat felt like it was fading with every day that passed, it felt like you were going to die before Obi-Wan realised something was wrong.
“I can’t do this anymore.” You interrupted him, looking as shocked as he did at the outburst, not fully registering the words leaving your mouth or the decision to save yourself before your heart really did stop.
“Is everything ok?” Obi-Wan asked, his eyebrows knitting together as he put down his caf and turned to you, seemingly giving you all his attention but still not seeing you, not seeing how worn down you were.
“No.” You finally forced yourself to say after a few moments of silence passed where you could only stare at him, debating if you wanted to do this. “Obi-Wan, this isn’t working, we’re not working.”
“I don’t understand.” Obi-Wan told you softly, his hand coming up to scratch at his beard as he tried to figure out what was happening and why you were suddenly so unhappy with your relationship.
“I know you don’t.” You told him, voice shaky as you fought back tears. “I know you don’t, Obi-Wan and that’s the problem. You don’t understand despite all the signals I’ve given, you don’t understand even though it’s so clear to see.”
“What’s clear to see?” He asked you and the genuine confusion coming from him hurt your heart even more.
“Would you leave the Order for me?” You asked, never wanting to ask the question, not when you knew what the answer would be but it was the only thing you could think to ask to get him to understand something about how far your relationship had fallen.
Obi-Wan was silent for a moment too long, a moment that he actually seemed to recognise lasted for too long if the regretful look on his face meant anything. You let out a chuckle that sounded more like a sob and nodded, you’d already known the answer, if he was going to say yes he would have already left.
“I never wanted to lose you but you, you won’t do something, you won’t risk something to fight for us. You won’t even choose me, Obi-Wan. I can’t do this anymore, I’m tired, I’m so tired of being lonely.” You cried, a few tears slipping down your cheeks as you slid your robe on.
“Where are you going?” He asked quietly and you nearly sobbed, even now, even when you were walking out of the door he wouldn’t fight for you.
“To talk to Master Yoda, I can’t stay Obi-Wan, I can’t.” You told him and opened the door, waiting a moment for him to say something, to do something but he didn’t. He stayed silent and let you walk out of his quarters.
You barely held yourself together, hearing the door shut behind you and forced your feet to move until you got to an empty room. Only then did you let yourself fall apart, sobs wracking your body as you finally let everything out, everything you had been ignoring for years.
All you had wanted was for him to give you something, you had only ever wanted him to choose you the way you would always chose him but instead he hadn’t even fought to stop you from leaving, letting you go like you hadn’t given him your best years, hadn’t given him everything you had only to be left alone feeling like you heart wouldn’t start anymore.
The Clone War spread across the galaxy and invaded people's lives faster than Jedi could be sent out. It took a toll on everyone it affected.
Finding any light spots, instances of happiness, or calm became a necessity.
"Master Kenobi," you called before the Jedi stepped further into the transport.
"Yes?" He asked. His earlier jests apparent in his relaxed posture.
"Would you be interested in dinner this week? My treat. If you have time?"
"I'll have to let you know after my meetings, but it'd be difficult to tell you 'no' for such an invitation."
