Well, it's not my usual type of posts, but why not?
I didn't include any obviously problematic ship such as eda//luz or hunter//amity because it would be too obvious and boring, not because I don't mind them
I know that Boscha's parents don't even have names, but they remind me my childhood otp for some reasons, that's why they are here 😔🤝

How do you think Boscha should’ve been written if TOH had focused on building its characters better both main and secondary?
What kind of elements could have made her arc great instead of having her be abandoned by Skara and Amity and doubled down in being awful?
It doesn’t have to be a repeat of Sasha’s arc but maybe making her more compelling and complex instead of a snobbish bully who is obsessed with one of her “friends”. Well, I don’t consider Amity her friend because calling their relationship friendship is ignoring that is one-sided but that’s just me remembering what little Amity said about her in Understanding Willow.
She shouldn't have shown up in season 3.
I know that's harsh but the blunt fact is that while I gave her a lot of depth and I think the show accidentally gives her a lot of intriguing elements, narratively her role is as a one dimensional bully. She is just there to be mean and thus be an obstacle for Amity to overcome to get away from her mean side. Even as big a Boscha fan and writer as I was, I literally never expected to see her after S1. She simply has no point to exist in the story afterwards.
Not unless what a shocking amount of outsiders thought during the hiatus after S1 was true: This was Amity's story all along, not Luz's.
And that's where I took inspiration for The Power of Love. Now that story is stupid long but getting Boscha into the main cast wasn't. It actually just raised the simple question that Understanding Willow and then Winging it asked: If Amity is supposed to have stopped seeing herself as superior to others, as having broken away from the Blight belief that made her sever ties with Willow, why is she now acting above Boscha and severing ties for that? Or if supposedly Amity now will actually care about her friends, what does the exiling of Boscha, Skara, Amelia, etc. like that mean about her character?
For the fact that she's a supporting character and to move Amity beyond Hexide, Winging it is fine. It does its narrative job... But it still paints Amity out as a bitch. She's still willing to cut out people from her life just because those around her disapprove of them. She's still willing to act superior and she's still mostly going by the designs of someone else since she wasn't exactly in favor of Luz's plan but goes with it because Luz.
So Boscha's return is a challenge of that. A challenge of if she was thinking when she did that or just acting in the heat of the moment and from pressure again. Mixed with how Boscha NEVER questions or belittles or bullies Amity, while being willing to do so with literally all of their other friends, Boscha is the ONE person to bring back from that friend group for this purpose. She's the one most clearly a bully... But where'd she get it from? Who was the real leader of their group? Has Amity changed or is she just a different kind of bitch?
That moment would be effectively akin to Yesterday's Lie for Luz. A re-contextualization of all Amity has done before and a questioning of if she's actually a good person. It would also require proper examination and growth like Yesterday's Lie should have led to for Luz and for that, Luz and Boscha could pull her in differing directions. One that wants her to remember her pride and ambition, one that wants her to remember to temper it. Two sides of Amity that she needs but balance is a hard thing to strike for anyone, let alone someone as conflicted and in her own head as Amity.
Like I use Lumischa's dynamic in a lot of things, and none of this gets into the narrative potential of Luz being with someone who isn't just a bully in name but also in attitude, but the original version has this element that few others do. It's one I liked so much and felt the show restricted me on so much that that's one of the primary reasons why I started Little Miss Rich Witch. But that's the rub: This is a different story. This isn't a part of a story where Luz is the main character.
Boscha has nothing to do with King or Eda. She is not a part of Luz's main supporting cast. She is specifically an Amity supporting cast member. You can do stuff with Boscha and Luz, and Luz's reaction to being bullied in Winging it is part of why I doubt this girl was actually bullied that much back home *eye twitch* but that's not the primary focus with Boscha from a narrative perspective. The EC isn't. Belos isn't.
It would be doubling down on one of TOH's weakest choices in having Amity be a main character despite the fact that they're unwilling to examine her relationship to the plot WHATSOEVER. And to have that examination would have meant more time being needed in a show that already had so many characters that went nowhere. Like... Amity's siblings lose all their actual antagonism after their first appearance. At best, after their second. And they're even closer to Amity and tied into even more of her issues.
So yeah, just like I said when I was fully devoted to this show and writing Lumischa every day... Boscha's purpose was done and we shouldn't have seen her in a main role again after S1.
Edit: I never answered the question about what to do with Boscha's arc. This blog is already too long but I think a redeemed Boscha is still mean and rude but she does it more for fun rather than out of malice or a need for dominance. She becomes a jock who is willing to chill out and listen to a nerd ramble about their hyperfixation for two hours instead of one that has to mock literally every element of it... Though she will still mocks part of it, you just know it's in a better spirit now.

A Lumischa prompt no one asked for.
Boscha has been hiding a crush on Luz and Amity; like Amity before her, she doesn't know how to handle her feelings, but doubles down on her mean girl attitude because that’s how she hotwired herself.
But behind the scenes, Boscha writes Pataki-esque poems and soliloquy's about her feelings. An like Pataki, they start out comedically lovey dovey...only to get sad as she vents about her maladaptive ways of dealing with them, and how she thinks she's unworthy of anyone caring about her. How even if she tries, she can't stop being who she is.
One day, Luz and Amity find two of these letters (unaddressed) and initially think it's from one another, thinking they are going through something and are concerned for eachother...until they realize they're done in Boscha's handwriting. When they try to confront her about it, rather than explain herself, Boscha just leaves wordlessly (beyond maybe “Why do you care!?”). She hopes to Titan that they don't see her crying...

For the honest ask ships, I have two.
Lumischa (which I personally view as a "Love V") and Camiraeda.
(Honest Ship Ask Meme)
Lumischa/Camiraeda
Lumishca I assume is Luz/Amity/Boscha and I don’t think I’ve ever seen content for that and really for good reason. Considering that Boscha would only be interested in Amity in this throuple and then Amity and Luz caring mostly about each other than Boscha. This of course could’ve changed had we’d gotten more seasons and a bunch of character development for Boscha but as it stands now, no.
Camiraeda is one way to resolve Luz’s dilemma with the Human world and the Demon realm, after all Eda has two...............................oh no......... (joke aside, I swear if Eda or Camilla have a blush, if even slightly then I know that ppl want this ship will be so excited)

Welcome to Ask Little Red Riding Luz!
A story about a baker’s apprentice named Luz, her best friend Boscha who is the best hunter in town and their life starting with the day Amity, a young wolf on her first solo, large hunt, crashes into their world. What secrets do they have? What love is in their heart? And what silliness and drama can they get into? All fueled by your questions and curiosity. If you want an easier place to catch up, this whole extended link is to the story on Ao3. I’ll be using both comments and asks in order to fuel the story as well as whatever I write myself. I hope you all enjoy and thank you so much for stopping by.

TOH, Number 7 of the ask game ^^
From this ask game
7 - at the moment, my favourite non-canon ship is Huntlow but I'm sure that's gonna be canon, so I'll say a Boscha ship like Luscha, Boschmity or Lumischa

nothing to say, just lumischa dynamic
Boscha growled as she saw them walk into the part. Of course they had to show up. They had to ruin everything, even her fucking college years. Was humiliating her back in high school not enough? She'd just ignore them and move on with her night. She was the star after all and she'd just drown the memory of them out of her mind. One round of Jose Quervo later.
Boscha tried to ignore that the crowd was now split in its attention. Most were still with her but there were murmers. Whispers. Not everyone had noticed Miss Glyph was back in town after all. It was enough to make her want to gag.
Two rounds of Jose Quervo later.
The music had her humming along as she focused on her teammates who were there with her to celebrate the new school year and how they were going to utterly DOMINATE anyone who tried to compete against them. At least until one of them asked if there was anyone she thought might be good for the team. Boscha was trying not to think about Miss Aboma-bitch after all. Let alone better times with her.
Three rounds of Jose Quervo later.
Skara noticed Boscha's mood at this point. Boscha was glad the two were friends again but she didn't want anyone comforting her about 'Lumity' showing up. God, how were they so lame as to call themselves by their own fucking ship name, something she'd only learned ten minutes ago. And no, she didn't want to dance to forget about it.
Four rounds of Jose Quervo later.
Amity bit her lip as she saw Boscha step onto the dance floor. Boscha she'd been trying to ignore that her old 'friend' was here too but it was hard to now. Not when she was in a short, tight black dress that showed off both her hips and chest but also hid nothing when it came to her muscles. Not that she cared about-
Five rounds of Jose Quervo later.
-whether or not she could have her head squished like a watermelon. Didn't like watching Boscha getting all to risque with her dancing with Skara. Nothing inappropriate but the lifts, dips and grinding of their bodies made her bite her lip. Luz had two left feet after all, not that it stopped Luz from ever dancing.
Six rounds of Jose Quervo later.
She finally grabbed Luz's arm and dragged her onto the dance floor. She was feeling frisky and didn't care if Boscha was there. Who knows, she might even prove to not have enough a stick up her ass to be able to share the floor with them. Maybe even give her a spin?
Seven rounds of Jose Quervo later.
Luz became bright red as arms made of steel almost laid her against the ground. She remembered stumbling and almost falling before being caught. Now three drop dead gorgeous eyes looked at her. Or, well, two of them. The third was winking as the strong girl whispered, "Careful. You might bump into trouble."
Eight rounds of Jose Quervo later.
Luz glanced at Boscha's lips for a moment. She was wearing hot red lipstick and it looked good. Really good. Like need a taste good. Honestly, everything about how Boscha looked, especially with her hair down as her hair tie had been discard long ago now, was turning her mind to mush. And now she was getting closer for some reason.
Nine rounds of Jose Quervo later.
"BOSCHA!" Luz barely registered the scream as her head spin from the deep kiss. She knew she wanted another one but she probably shouldn't. Not now that Amity was there. Maybe they could all dance together? Oh, there was the abomination fist and yet Boscha just kept a tight grip on Luz as they both moved towards Amity. Despite her anger, Amity's face somehow turned even more red as Boscha cupped her cheek.
Ten rounds of Jose Quervo later.
Boscha yawned as she sat up in bed. Her head was pounding and furious at her normal routine of getting up early for a work out. She remembered bits and pieces of last night. Pounding back shot after shot to forget about the dumbasses who crashed her sororities' party. The pretty, tasty, submissive... How would she know those...
Boscha blinked a few times as she glanced down and became very aware of the two women in bed with her. The two annoying, beautiful, infuriating, delightful, rude and silly women. Her first instinct was to light them on fire but then she licked her lips where she could still taste them.
And, well, it tasted a hell of a lot better than Jose Quervo and a peace offering of a potion witch's hangover cure for each of them was enough to start something awkward but that they all were quite happy to have drunkenly stumbled into.

Always love me some Lumischa content so thank you! I wanted to do this when I first got this ask but my brain kind of COMPLETELY SHATTERED for a few days so while I managed a couple analytical blogs, writing proper wasn't as much an option. *sigh*
Also, for anyone curious why Jose Quervo specifically than *cries at this song being old enough that many of you might not know it* here is the song that inspired the structure!

Inspired by someone wanting knight Boscha and princess Amity in my asks (I’ll be responding to more of their ask tomorrow), something about it just made my brain turn on fire and cause me to go type up a nice, 3k one off that’s effectively a large concept pitch for a Royal AU.

Do you have any thoughts on that Boscha and Amity confrontation from s3? I don't watch s3 because of lost interest but I look for scraps out of investment or just to see my faves.
The fandom treats it like a two exes fighting thing, I wonder where they got that idea from. Closeted boschamity shippers? 👀
Boscha smashes the door to the closet down before glaring at the crowd of people there. "How dare you hide anything about your queen!? Don't you know how incredible I am? How much better I would have been for Amity? In fact, I bet I'm great enough I could date both them at o-" "Oh, hey, Boscha!" "Boscha, aren't you trying to stop bullying people?" A strange, high pitched noise comes from the pit of Boscha's soul as she turns to look at Luz and Amity. She then takes a step forward straight into the closet, grabs the door and slams it back into place. She then turns to all the shippers and states, "Say anything and die."
So I've seen the clip and something about how Amity says "Boscha, stop, you're hurting me," rubs me the wrong way in a DEEP way. Other than that, it's a good scene and I think entirely understandable from Boscha's standpoint. I'm not actually even going to say it has to be romantic. It works platonically too. We have to remember for the context of the scene that Boscha and Amity were friends for nine years. Not only that but Amity is the only person Boscha doesn't make fun of. In fact, she seems to have been the only person Boscha was willing to delegate any sort of power and control too. Thus their interactions are usually more led by Amity, much friendlier than Boscha's interactions with others (even Skara), and it helps explain why Amity seems to lead their friend group despite how Boscha acts about loss of power in Once Upon a Swap. It also means that how the group acts was likely influenced by Amity. And, well... If the show is correct and they're just all bad people then that reflects poorly on Amity. Worse yet, Hooty's Moving Hassle pushes the idea that Amity hid whatever positive side of hers there might be from her friends (though, you know, still hosted the sleepover at her place for some reason. Almost like they actually were friends...). So the friend group's image of Amity is that of a controlling, cool headed, logical bitch (affectionately). Someone who pushed Willow way harder than any of them did with their own targets and was aspirational as the most popular girl in school. And then in the span of like a week, everything changed. You need to remember that the episode order is literally: Understanding Willow, into Grom, into Winging it. And that is the major pivot point for Amity's character and who she's interacting with socially. I honestly wish we had ANYONE'S reaction to Amity hanging out with Luz and crew at Grom since that should have raised some eyebrows amongst her friend group. But people might have dismissed it as a fluke or because Luz for some reason took Amity's place as Grom Queen. Maybe even blackmail to make it make sense. There's no way of doing that with the Grudgby match though. And that Grudgby match will be the closest she comes to caring about ANY of them again. So in the span of like two weeks at most, Boscha not only lost her best friend but had her entire reality shatter about what she believed in about her. What she had known to be true all turning to ash in an instant. No wonder she was willing to get so aggressive as to start losing control of her strength and actually manage to break someone's leg.
Worse yet is actually Sport in a Storm. Boscha is there. Alone. And not repping the Grudgby team. Now yes, the season might already be over (though that'd be an extremely short season) but you'd still think the captain of the team would be trying to recruit people and the like. Maybe even just forced by the coach to be there. But she's not. Almost like she's possibly been kicked out but wanted to show up anyways because she got used to being a part of events like this. Part of them... With Amity. Who's now got a book club going on. So when Amity comes back and Boscha is desperate, in a world so much scarier than the one she's used to, barely holding onto any shred of control and power she has been given by Kikimora and the other students. She wants a return to what she sees as better times. To times that made more sense. To times when Amity made sense. To when there was someone Boscha could trust enough to rule beside, if not possibly serve as a knight. Not that ANY of this is likely intentional by the show. The scene is meant to show Boscha's desperation but it's meant more to contrast against where Amity is now. A theoretical call to her past self WELL past when that would have been resonant in anyway. There's a reason why Sasha trying to will Anne back into her old self, the one who didn't care about people, hits hard because Anne is at the turning point of her character between those two sides. Amity had her turning points though with a weirdly flippant response in both Winging it Like Witches and Escaping Expulsion. Sure, there's drama to the statements Amity makes but a lack of a real reason to go back to who she was (unlike the obvious luxuries and comforts Sasha presents) and a lack of build up to make the choice seem painful or hard for Amity. It just came down to "Luz is in danger, I love Luz, so fuck these people." So for as neat as it is to have a scene between Boscha and Amity at this point... Too Little Too Late is a statement that applies to a lot of the elements of the show and knowing that Dana felt there was a pressure to have Lumity happen as fast as possible, it's not really surprising either. It was their number one priority, no matter how many character and plot threads went fallow during the pursuit of it. And that includes any chance for something truly meaningful with Boscha.
Adding a reminder that I do have Lumischa works that explore Boscha a lot. A Future for Lumischa does a bit of it with them as adults while The Power of Love does it mostly from the perspective of between S1 and 2.

headcanon that Boscha is a really good narrator and storyteller, which causes Luz and Amity to recruit her into the Azura Book Club to read aloud for them.
A few meetings of the bookclub later, Luz and Amity are cuddled up to Boscha while she reads
See, I would probably jump to her telling an absolute sappy, obviously not professional children's story that you know Boscha would NEVER read. Not in a million years. Not for anyone other than the small, five year old child she then carries to bed before Luz and Amity thank her for managing to finally get all three of theirs sick girl to get some sleep.

Boscha sighed a little as she caught sight of the small symbol she’d carved into a few of the trees a couple days ago. She’d rather it be an X because those were easier to make but at least the semi-circle that slammed into a smaller, full circle in the middle wasn’t too hard to make. She still wasn’t sure if she believed Luz though when she told her that it would help bless her hunts but she couldn’t really say they’d gotten worse since she’d started carving the symbol. It was also easier to tell if it had been placed on purpose or not than a few scratches would which was a comfort. One she needed too as she sighed.
No tracks. No signs in general of the wolves as she’d been hoping to get by now. She still wasn’t even sure what she would have done had she seen their tracks. She was alone after all and one wolf versus one hunter…
Without his knife, it couldn’t go any other way.
Boscha’s hand slid along the hilt of her blade before she glanced back at the sled that was behind her. It had a couple rabbits and a fox from her snares but nothing too large yet. That was for the best in her opinion as she slipped her blade free. A minute later and she was laying the wolf’s pelt into some paper to help preserve it. Then she stood up and shouted, “I know you assholes can understand me so listen up!” She then held up the meat of the fox with her bloody glove as she shouted, “I’ve marked a half dozen trees to make it clear to other hunters where our divides are. If you came to our town for food, stay the fuck out!”
She then threw the meat across the threshold and waited to see if there was any response. Her now free hand even twitched towards her bow. Just in case. If any small wolf showed her face after all, they might have a taste for Luz’s blood and then…
Boscha sighed as nothing seemed to answer her. It’s what she expected but it still made her want to slice apart the symbol next to her. She shouldn’t be doing this. Not when Luz was still in danger. She also couldn’t keep wasting half of her day trying to find them. She had very little to show this week for it and the orphanage was counting on her. A lot of people were counting on her…
Boscha sighed before turning her back on the wolves’ territory before she said, “We’ll do the same in return.”
She then took a step before-
  Cru-Crash!
Boscha was almost to the ground instantly. Despite being taller than most girls, she was able to squat low enough to be maybe two feet tall now. In the same breath, she’d slipped her bow off of her shoulders and knocked an arrow in it in spite of the knife in her hand. She’d made damn sure she didn’t have to drop it though to use her bow though and usually found her accuracy only suffered slightly. She couldn’t drop it now though. Not with how close the sound had been. The next sound to meet her wasn’t what she’d expected though. A deep, pitiful whining of some sort. She couldn’t even immediately place it as she slowly skulked through the woods to see what was going on. Her experience told her there was a ravine nearby but what was enough of a dumbass to fall into it?
She quickly got her answer as she saw a bear pitifully trying to climb out of the brambles and vines that were a dozen feet below her. She narrowed her eyes for a moment as she tried to assess what had happened but she’d need a closer look for that. Maybe her broad headed arrows? Their extra weight could get through the thicker hide of bears but they were expensive to get ahold of and they were for if things went wrong. She didn’t exactly make it a habit to hunt something bigger than her. Getting it home was enough of a problem alone without how dangerous it was. The longer she considered it though, the more she realized she didn’t need anything like that. She also had no choice in what she wanted to do with the bear as she began to slowly make her way down the ravine. Getting the beast out was going to be a nightmare but it was better than the alternative. Much better.
Even the bear seemed to know as it weakly clawed at the air towards her. Its back paws didn’t move though and Boscha grimaced as she saw the large rock that the bear had landed on. Its spine was likely destroyed which meant it wasn’t a threat. That also meant that she could get close enough so that her arrow would have maximum penetrating power. Enough to cleanly pierce the beast’s heart even without the extra weight. It was no question for her as she pulled back the bow, whispered, “You’re welcome,” before letting go.
She shut her eyes for a moment before sighing. Now came the hard part.
 ======+++++======
Luz couldn’t help but keep glancing around herself as she bathed in the spring that Boscha and her made sure to share each Saturday. It was a promise they kept to make sure no matter how busy either of them got, they always spent an hour catching up each week. Not that Luz focused on the getting clean part as much as she should. Instead, she kept her cloak on to help cover herself up. Sure they were both girls but even if Luz didn’t feel weird whenever Boscha was… exposed around her, she’d still struggle being comfortable around Boscha like this. After all, Boscha had a body that appeared like it was sculpted by some sort of god with how she didn’t have an ounce of fat and nothing but muscle to replace it. She’d even heard that people made statues of such men so why shouldn’t she be flustered around such a body!?
But today she was concerned for a different reason. Boscha almost always beat her to getting here, even if it meant bringing her prey with her. Heck, sometimes Boscha would need to at least take a second dip in the water because something came for her prizes and, well… Boscha kept her bow and knife close just in case. It made Luz fidget sometimes, even as King told her that the forest had no problems with Boscha’s hunting habits.
She hadn’t showed up yet though and Luz was almost done washing herself so where was sh-
 “Cannonball!”
Luz barely had time before she was suddenly drenched anew by a crashing wave. That got a laugh out of her as she turned to see her friend. And then she screamed.
 “Aaaaaaaaaah!”
Boscha emerged almost instantly and darted towards where she’d stashed her knife before surprising her friend. Only once she had it in hand did she turn back to Luz and ask, “What’s wrong?”
Luz puffed her cheeks out before pointing at the water that was slowly fading back to normal after having been dyed a dark red. “ That ! Why were you covered in blood!? Did something attack you?”
Oh. That… made sense. She should have thought about that first as she scolded herself for making Luz worry. Part of her job was explicitly to make Luz not worry after all. At least, to her. Then again, she was also supposed to be impressive enough to her friend so she could be missing an arm and Luz would think she still could fix anything.
She couldn’t just apologize for making her worry though. Luz needed to learn not to worry about her. So instead, she stood tall and used her free hand to smooth back her hair as she pushed her chest out. “Just take a look and tell me.”
Luz didn’t want to. She wanted to stay mad. She hardly could though while staring at Boscha’s body while it was drenched and hardly covered by her undergarments. It was the exact sort of sight she tried to avoid because she could barely control herself. The water traced her muscles, made sure there was less dirt than usual to hide her strong cheekbones and the look on her friend’s eyes… It was the sort of confidence that had made her pass out when she first experienced these sorts of feelings. Instead, she found her cheeks burning bright as her legs wobbled a bit. How could someone make her feel so giddy and so much like a fool at the same time!? Just one look was enough to damn near cripple her. And yet Boscha never seemed to notice so… HOW!? “I-I mean, um, uh, I can see that you, well, don’t have any new scars but that still doesn’t explain anything…”
Boscha relaxed a little as she smiled gently at Luz. She was safe doing it right now. Luz couldn’t keep eye contact with her in the springs after all, let alone while she was probably hoping her hair didn’t catch on fire from how hot her face was. She still wished she understood that part of Luz. She did think Luz was pretty after all. Her darker skin reminded her of the woods she spent so much time in already. Her smile was brighter than any fire she could light. Her laughter and songs were more beautiful than any birdsong.
Then again, she didn’t need an answer with Luz. There were so many times her best friend confused her after all. When her heart was too big. When she seemed to think the smallest things in the world were too precious to ignore. How she seemed able to make friends with anyone and leave herself so vulnerable despite all the dangers the world had to offer. All with a smile and a whistle on her lips. A smile she’d protect to the very end because she lov-
“We’d be different like you then, right Steve?”
A smile she’d protect to the very end because Luz was her best friend.
Boscha rolled her shoulders back and she swore for a second that she heard a branch snap or something. It was probably just her back popping though. She did smile again as she saw Luz barely manage to stay standing for a second before she sighed. “I can’t stay like usual unfortunately. I found an injured bear today and was simply drenched by the time I got his pelt and meat out of the ravine I found him.” She then paused as she considered mentioning how something she hadn’t heard had stolen her rabbits while she was busy. Luz would get worried about her missing something like that though so it’d be better if she just said nothing. Instead she said, “I needed to get at least some of its blood off of me before I went to town but this pelt is worth too much not to make sure it gets back safe. Reschedule for another day?”
Luz sighed a little as she couldn’t help but smile. How Boscha managed to be so mature, she just didn’t understand. Her mom told her that orphans usually had to grow up fast but it was still incredible for her to think about how far Boscha had come in just three years. It made her only want their private time more but then she was being selfish and childish and… “I get it. We can talk about it tomorrow! I’ll even make sure to get up early to make us something for breakfast, promise!” “I’ll-” Boscha paused for a second mid-turn before deciding to raise one of her arms and flex it for Luz. She then pushed it a little harder and flicked the water on her bicep off as she made sure every muscle was clear as day, “-hold you to it, got it?”
Luz opened her mouth, closed it, opened it again and then finally smashing her face into the water. Another set of eyes was kind of wishing she could do the same. After all, Amity was lucky not to have fallen out of her tree when she oddly enough blacked out for a second when the hunter emerged from the water originally. She was still wondering why she had a bloody nose or why the sound of getting squeezed tight by the rough killer sounded like a  good  thing.
How was this even more confusing than what her prey did to her mind!? She buried her face into her paws as she tried to tell herself to leave. That being here was a bad idea and had nothing but dumb luck. Nothing was here for her after all, not unless she wanted to get wet during practice.
And yet, once she heard the boots of the hunter trailing away, she couldn’t help but peek between her claws like she had been before Boscha’s arrival so she could keep watching her prey. For purely academic reasons, of course. Nothing else.

A mall date between Luz and Amity is interrupted by Amity’s best friend and everyone’s favorite bully: Boscha. But is Luz ready to meet Amity’s friend? Is Boscha ready to meet Luz? A part of my lead up to the original version of Crises Girlfriends coming out in a week now. If you’re interested in a story that’s willing to be more positive about therapy and more nuanced about mental health, I’d deeply appreciate it if you pre-ordered the ebook ahead of time. And if you’re worried it’s not any good... Well, you have a link right at the top to figure that out yourself. It was always written 99% like an original work after all.

What are some of your favourite headcanons for the Lumischa relationship? How they interact, what they do for dates, all that fun shish.
Okay, so genuinely, I probably would say that The Power of Love is the ideal way I see them as kids, while Future for Lumischa (which I wish I had done more chapters of) is them as adults. But... that also has me need to comment on the one depressing thing for this blog, properly at least rather than just headcanon, and that's that... Boscha wouldn't love Luz's girlfriend Amity. She has no drive, no interest in things besides Luz, has little to no motivation about things besides Luz, etc. like that. She is too submissive and too obsessed to be of interest to Boscha. Boscha would probably see her as someone she could barely have a conversation with. And yes, I know what the show did but Boscha IS going off of a past version of Amity. One who had her own goals, ideas, drive and ambitions. One who could challenge Boscha and those around her instead of just... being there mostly. That Amity IS someone you could admire and have a conversation with and who had their own triumphs and pains to discuss. Honestly, if Luz had first met S2, and especially S3, Amity... I don't even know if she'd be romantically interested since she's shown no romantic interest in Willow.
Anyways, with that out of the way, I'm gonna do this sort of bullet point style just because that will be more fun and try to keep me from rambling too much: Luz and Boscha are much of the only reason Amity ever has real company because Amity is so introverted and focused. Luz actually pulls her away from things while Boscha is more there for Amity, even if the two are quiet. Speaking of: Boscha definitely uses her girlfriends for her workouts. An incredibly common one is Boscha doing pushup while Amity reads on her back. Or 'reads' as it always takes a little bit of time for Amity to stop blushing from the fact that Boscha can have her on her back while doing them one handed. She also deadlifts Luz though that is as often to throw her for being annoying (playfully) as it is to workout. Luz is the one who needs the most affection from the other two and while she has her own room for the sake of studying and the like, she often sleeps with one of the other two whenever she can. Boscha melts from their kisses even up to the age of seventy because she CANNOT handle affection. Luz eventually made it her goal to surprise Boscha with as many kisses as possible once she realized this. Yes this has led to being thrown and some broken bones. Luz always claims it's worth it. Amity is the most terrified of being left out of the polycule. Her parents couldn't love each and there were only two of them. How could they have enough love for her, especially when they have such energy with each other? Luz handles this with extravagant dates on the very rare date nights anyone gets with Amity while Boscha, being more the blunt force type, will take a sad Amity and throw her onto the bed to... love her. In all the ways she likes it. (And as a kid she'd still throw her on the bed but it'd just be for forced cuddles and a break.) Luz buys gifts for the other two whenever she sees something they like. Coincidentally, she is the only one of the three with an allowance. However, Amity also isn't allowed to play any games with microtransactions anymore because she spent three grand in a week for the dopamine drips.
Boscha... eventually drops Grudgby to be a stay at home mom. This actually has a lot to do with the history I gave her but also what I see for the academic/career goals of the other two. Amity wants to be a coven head and in that position she'll help a lot of people and further magic in ways both Luz and Boscha are excited to see. They love the joy her magic brings her and they can see how satisfying it is for her every time she solves a problem, even if they sometimes need to remind her that she can't control everything. Meanwhile, Luz is trying to be a streamer who is open about mental health and her experiences from being bullied and the like while working towards becoming a counselor for troubled teens. Who better to connect to them than someone who has been through so much? Felt so much pain but can genuinely say it does get better? That not everyone is like the nightmares the kids have? And so eventually Boscha looks at all of that and decides that she doesn't want long weeks away from the girls she loves, or to force either to have to stay home to watch the kids they'll eventually have. Not when her goals shifted from being the star that everyone looks at to simply being the rock her family can depend on. As a note, this is similar to why I have her in Future for Lumischa drop her Grudgby plans while the other two are in college so as to work two jobs so they have, you know... money. Speaking of kids though: Luz wants a dozen and is optimistic about being a mom, Amity wants at least two because then they won't be alone when she's never there which might actually be for the best in her mind... And Boscha... Varies depending on headcanon. With PoL's and Future's, she doesn't like talking about it and despite her choice to make sure the kids are never alone and the other two don't have to worry about them, has trouble ever touching them due to the abuse she underwent as a child. With a more positive backstory, I think she'd be a good mom who likes some of their antics and is thought to be scary when upset until her kids get to see what real anger with her looks like the first time something tries to hurt them. Properly as parents, I think Luz tries too hard to relate to her kids and be cool and so isn't really the parent they need, even if she can sometimes be their friend. Amity on the other hand is actually an amazing parent, her focus on what's important letting her be serious about the things that need to be while her gentler side makes sure she knows what to let go of. The only problem is keeping Amity around because she always feels like she's making mistakes and so sometimes actually takes assignments she doesn't need to that take her away from the house so she can't be hurting her kids. This is actually also part of why I like the headcanon where Boscha can't do physical affection with them. One can't be there for the serious parts, one lacks the connection to them because of emotional and physical distance, and one can't give physical affection. They all have weaknesses as parents the others can possibly cover but also allows their kids to choose favorites and the like. And I think for at least this round of headcanons, that's a good place to stop. I don't know why I was so much more focused on them as adults this time though. *shrug* Probably because I've done so much more with them as kids would be my guess. I hope you liked them and I'm always happy to field more Lumischa asks! (Or asks in general since I'm out right now...)

A chapter about effectively change and why sometimes the happiest thing you can do is to give up on the dreams you had. Sometimes, there’s something better than that. Also, this chapter concept has been in my brain for MONTHS, ever since I wrote chapter 8 of this story, so it’s not a response to the finale or anything like that. The ending of TOH did make me think about this but none of this is really new for how I write these characters or my interpretation of them. I have thoughts and someone has already asked but I’m trying to be respectful and not spoil parts of the finale for a few days at least until more people have gotten the chance to see it.
