Right now you can only use your bike in the overworld, and it would probably break the game if we let you use your bike in the spirit world...

After many hours of work throughout March and October, I think I've finished refactoring Essence's 2D rendering code to 3D! I just ironed out the last bugs I could find—mainly boat and moose issues. The boat logic was definitely a land mine of problems towards the end.

Later I'm going to make characters 3D, which is half the reason I'm doing this in the first place, but I'm very happy that 2D objects are being displayed along 3D objects quite smoothly.
Now I can resume working on the actual gameplay! I've been planning a lot of big changes to shift the focus towards raising creatures and their interaction with the environment . . .
