Ever since you had begun dating your boyfriend, you dreaded the thought of him meeting your parents, or, well, parent. Your father had always been a little… rough, and loud… ever since you were a kid.
For almost a year, you had managed to evade the inevitable. However, after so much nagging from your mom(and a bit from your boyfriend), you reluctantly agreed to spend Thanksgiving dinner with them.
As the two of you were getting ready, Tōji seemed more excited than he should have been. He had no idea what he was getting into. You could hear him rummaging through his collection of suits, hidden deep inside of the closet.
“Hey, babe!” Tōji called, the sound muffled by clothes. “How formal is ‘too formal’?*”
You sighed, scrolling through photos on your phone. “I dunno. I don’t think it matters much.” Your lack of enthusiasm seemed to catch him off-guard.
He poked his head out of the closet, looking at you with concern before relaxing his gaze. “Soooo…” His mouth widened into a mischievous grin before pulling a suit out of the closet. “How about this?”
You looked over, immediately breaking out into laughter. Not only was your boyfriend wiggling his eyebrows violently, but in his hand was a bright blue crushed velvet suit, one that was only used for a couple’s Halloween costume you roped him into.
“I thought you wanted my parents to like you,” you choked, struggling to suppress your laughter. He only pouted in return, clearly defeated. With an overexaggerated sigh, he reluctantly returned the suit to the closet.
After that, the two of you finished getting dressed and headed out to the car. Tōji opened the door for you as you got in, closing it before walking around to the driver’s side.
The drive was long. The only sounds were the stereo and the low hum of the engine, occasionally joined by small talk. The conversations were trivial, not relating to the impending dinner at all. It helped you relax, to be honest, and that was probably Tōji’s plan. He could tell you were nervous. He just didn’t know why.
The hour passed too soon, and before you knew it, your boyfriend was pulling into the driveway of your parents' small suburban home. You couldn't help but stare blankly at the illuminated windows, absent-mindedly picking at your nail beds. You jumped at the feeling of Tōji laying his hand over yours.
Snapping out of your gaze, you looked over to him. "Hm?" You inquired softly, fearing you had missed something he said.
“You gonna be alright, kid?” His voice was softer than usual, his brows knit together in concern.
You urgently nodded your head. “Mhm, I’m OK. It’s not like we can go back now anyway.” Tōji didn’t seem to be buying your act.
“You know, kid, we can always turn back if you can’t handle this.”
He was interrupted as your parents stepped out onto the porch. You pulled away from your boyfriend, opening the car door as he turned off the ignition.
You waved to your mother, doing your best to mimic her smile as you dodged the gaze of your father. Tōji followed closely behind you as you walked up to your parents. “It’s so good to see you! How long has it been?”
You met your mother’s welcoming embrace, chuckling at her eager attitude. “I’ve missed you too, mom.”
As you pulled away from your mother, you were quickly drawn into your father’s arms. You managed to keep your composure, struggling not to shrink into yourself at his touch.
“Is this your boyfriend?! How did you snag a specimen like him?!” Your mother’s sudden burst allowed you to finally let go of your father and step away.
“Oh, yeah!” You had forgotten to introduce Tōji. How silly of you. “Mom, this is Tōji. Tōji, this is my mom.”
Tōji gently took hold of your mother’s hand before bringing it to his lips. Her face was so red. You worried she might have a heart attack.
When you looked to your father’s eyes, his gaze was locked on Tōji. You knew he was angry, but surprisingly, when Tōji turned to him, he smiled. They exchanged a firm handshake before you all followed your mother inside.
Your mom ushered you to the kitchen. Tōji offered to help as well, but he was quickly dismissed and sent to the living room with your dad.
The food was nearly ready, but your mom had asked for your help with decorating the cake. You had been the one to send her the recipe, but she was clueless as to how to decorate it as beautifully as you.
It didn't take long to make the icing, and after putting it in a piping bag, you decorated the blank cake with elegant, even swirls of white. Once you had finished with the icing, you added a few finishing touches.
“Perfect,” your mother commented from behind you, making you jump. “It’s beautiful.”
“It’s nothing special, really.” You chuckled anxiously.
“Nonsense.” She waved her hand. “Now, since that’s finished, could you set the table for me, please?”
“Yeah, of course!” you nodded, walking over to the kitchen cupboards. The plates clattered as you gathered a stack of four before turning your attention to the cutlery drawer. With everything in hand, you made your way towards the dining room table.
Because of the close proximity to the living room, you were able to make out a lot more of the conversation than you could before. You heard Tōji laugh in response to some comment from your father. They seemed to be getting along.
You slowly made your way around the table, gently laying the plates at each spot, arranging the knives and forks on either side.
You suppose you should be happy. It’s good to have your boyfriend get along with your parent, right? Then why does it feel so wrong…?
On your way to the fourth spot at the table, you failed to notice a crease in the rug below you. Naturally, your foot got caught while you were trying to eavesdrop. The fourth plate slipped from your hand, shattering on the floor. Things seemed to move almost in slow motion as you fell forward, nearly landing on top of it.
A shout erupted from the living room, heavy steps rapidly approaching. You could barely get to your knees before your father was standing above you, fuming.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” You flinched at his words. “YOU'RE BREAKING THE SHIT I PAY FOR?!”
You stared down at the shattered fragments before you, frozen in place.
“LOOK AT ME WHEN I FUCKING TALK TO YOU!”
You flinched again, hesitantly turning your head with tears silently running down your cheeks.
“ARE YOU REALLY CRYING RIGHT NOW?! AND QUIT FLINCHING! I’M NOT GOING TO FUCKING HURT YOU!”
You couldn’t even look at Tōji as he stood behind your father. You didn’t want to risk making him more mad. Besides, this was your fault. You were careless and broke the plate, right?
“IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE AFRAID OF ME, I’LL GIVE YOU A FUCKING REASON TO BE-” Your father was cut off as a large hand grabbed onto his shoulder, pushing him to the side.
Tōji walked over to you before kneeling down. He looked angry too… Was he mad at you? He took your hands in his, carefully looking them over. “Are you hurt?” his voice was quiet, but it was scary… like he was seconds away from snapping.
You shook your head. “No… I’m ok.” Your voice barely rose louder than a whisper.
“Good.”
“What do you think you’re doing?” Your father’s voice made you shudder. His voice was dripping with malice.
“I’m taking care of my family,” Tōji explained, his voice eerily calm. Any hint of pleasantries had vanished, leaving a dangerous, imposing aura in its place.
“Your family?” your father scoffed. “That little bitch needs to be put in her place.”
Tōji ignored your father’s words, looking into your eyes with a gentle gaze. “Go wait in the car for me, okay, sweetheart?” His voice sounded soft, but as he gently kissed your forehead, you could tell he was holding something back. “I’ll be out there soon.”
You weren’t sure whether you should listen to him, but you didn’t want to see what would happen if he did snap. With Tōji standing between you and your dad, you rose to your feet, hurrying to the door before your father had the chance to chase you.
It wasn’t until you closed the car door that you realised you had forgotten your jacket inside, but you didn’t want to risk going back in. Maybe you could ask Tōji to grab it for you.
You lost track of time as you waited for your boyfriend, but it couldn’t have been more than twenty minutes. You were picking at your nails until the front door finally opened.
To your surprise, your father was nowhere to be seen. You watched as Tōji said something to your mother before he stepped outside, your forgotten jacket tucked under his arm.
He got in the driver’s seat and passed the jacket to you. “I thought you might need this, kid.” You noticed him rubbing his knuckles before he put his seatbelt on.
“Are you okay?” You asked softly. “What happened? Are you hurt?” You reached for his hand, but he pulled away.
He sighed before bringing one of his hands to your cheek. “I’m alright, kid. Don’t worry.” He solidified his remark with a quick kiss on your lips. As he pulled away, you both leaned back in your seats.
Tōji started the car, backing out of the driveway before beginning the long drive back home. He rested a firm hand on your thigh. “I’m sorry about tonight.” His voice was gentle. You’d never heard him apologise like this before. “I shouldn’t have bugged you to do this. It’s my fault.”
“No, it’s my fault. I’m the one who dropped the plate.” Your gaze dropped to your legs. “I made him mad...”
“Princess, please don’t talk like that.” Tōji sighed, getting quiet as he stared at the road. The silence was thick, though, luckily, it didn’t last long.
“Hey,” Tōji started, “y’know, since we left before dinner…” You looked at him with wide eyes, patiently waiting for him to finish. “Whaddya say we grab something on the way?”
You nodded eagerly. “That would be really nice.”
“Yeah? Do you have anything in min-”
“McDonald’s.” You cut him off. He almost seemed startled, but he quickly laughed it off.
“Alright, McDonald’s it is.”
Tōji pulled off of the highway at the first sight of those glorious golden arches, the bright yellow light a promise to salvation and warm, comforting, fast food. He pulled into the drive thru, and to your convenience, there was no line.
“Hello! Welcome to McDonald’s! What can I get you today?” the cheery voice said over the speaker.
“Uh, yeah, can I get uh… a big mac meal with large fries?”
“Alright! And what would you like for the drink?” the worker asked.
“A black coffee, please.” You had to stop yourself from bursting out laughing. “And can I also get a 10 nugget meal with a large fries and a coke?” You were nearly bouncing with excitement.
“For sure! Will that be everything?”
“Yep.”
After the worker read out the total, Tōji drove up to the window to pay, then proceeded to the next window to collect the food. He passed the glorious bag of warm goodness to you, and before long, the two of you were on the road again.
The food was everything you needed, and it helped melt away the problems that happened earlier in the night. In fact, it helped you relax so much that you actually had trouble staying awake, and you fell asleep for most of the drive back.
When the car finally stopped, you didn’t care to open your eyes. You were far too comfy to be bothered with anything else. Though barely aware of your surroundings, you heard a car door open and shut, soon followed by the sound of a car door opening beside you.
You felt strong, warm arms wrap around you, lifting you out of your very comfy place in the seat. Still refusing to open your eyes, you could only whine in protest.
“I know, princess, but we have to get you to a real bed.” The voice was calm, comforting. Things felt so safe.
There was no way to tell how long you were in those arms, but before you knew it, you were being disturbed once more. Although, this time, you were being put down onto an inconveniently cold, squishy surface. You whined again, even as something was draped over your body.
You continued to wiggle in protest, trying to locate the oh so comfy source of heat. Soon, you felt a dip in the area beside you. Without hesitation, you started reaching over, and when your arms met a bare, warm surface, they latched on.
You tried to get closer, and to your delight, you felt the warmth wrap around you. Everything felt so comfy. You were safe, and now there was nothing else to disrupt it. You finally gave in to sleep, feeling a sense of security within the strong warmth guarding you.

𝙸𝙽 𝙲𝙷𝙰𝚁𝙰𝙲𝚃𝙴𝚁 : "is that bartholomew cucumber patch???"
If there was ever a once in a lifetime look of absolute confusion, horror, and the beginnings of a dissociative state for one to capture involving Noir it would be now. Granted the benefit of the mask saves him but the normally square shoulders sag, feet stumbling back as his posture breaks apart before Hobie Brown.
His mind runs a million miles for a second, trying to comprehend if the words thrown his way were part of any linguistic dictionary he knows from his era or something entirely from a future he's yet to grasp.
Tumblr media
Bartholomew... that's from the Bible, right? Cucumber is a vegetable he knows. Patch? What was that leading into he didn't know. Noir raises his hands, as if to say something — anything that might break the bafflement he's experiencing. The tracks don’t connect and he’s at a complete loss for words. Noir crosses his arms, more so to embrace himself than look like a disappointed parent. ❛ 𝚆-... 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝? ❜

summary: you and oscar had grown up together, and grown apart. now you're teaching him ballet for a mclaren video. will you two reconnect?
pairing: oscar piastr x fem! ballerina! dancer
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
Oscar Piastri was your best friend’s older brother, what could go wrong?
You’d moved to Melbourne when you were a kid with the rest of your family, and your brother quickly started karting at a local track. In comes the Piastri’s. You were sitting on the sidelines, bored out of your mind when a little girl a bit older than you came up to you with another girl, about your age, and another little girl, much younger than all three of you.
“Which one’s yours?” The eldest asked.
“The one in the red kart, my brother. You?”
“The one in the fluro yellow. He’s our brother,” she explained. “I’m Hattie, that’s Addie, and that’s Mae. Wanna be friends?”
You nodded. “Yeah! I’m Y/n.”
And since that day, you were. Turns out you and Addie ended up in the same class in school and became fast friends, then you ended up in the same ballet class, and it all snowballed from there. Playdates became hangouts and dolls became bitch-sessions, and soon enough you were all grown up. You were a constant in the Piastri family home, sleeping over most nights to carpool to early ballet, then school, then back to ballet, and then back to the Piastri home. You watched every race with the girls, growing up alongside Oscar and your brother from the beginning. You watched both of them in Formula Renault, Formula 3, Formula 2, and finally, Oscar’s second year Formula 1 was coming up, while you brother (Jack) was staying yet another year in F2. It was funny, whenever Oscar was home in recent years, you always seemed to miss him. You didn’t mind. Oscar and you weren’t all that close, you were closest to Addie, Hattie, Mae, and Nicole. Though, he texted you when he was away and you responded, apologising for missing him, he always told you that he’d ‘see you on the stage one day anyway’. He’d always supported you. You’d always supported him.
Sadly, your time living with the Piastri’s had come to an end. You had been given the chance of a lifetime in the form of a full scholarship to the Paris Opera Ballet School, and you weren’t going to turn it down, much to Nicole’s dismay. That was two years ago. Two full years of living in Paris, down.
Paris was amazing. You missed your family and you missed everyone back in Melbourne, but you loved it in Paris. Your new fellow dancers were so welcoming and nice, and you’d made fast friends with a group of them. You’d been doing French in school since you were a kid, and you loved getting to speak it with native speakers. You’d even been named an Etoile (star) in your first year. You’d helped the Paris Opera Ballet with their online presence and started a YouTube channel with some of your fellow dancers which had garnered over 4 million subscribers. Everything was brilliant.

“Alright everyone, gather around!” Carole called. “We have been invited to the McLaren garage this weekend for the Monaco Gran Prix,” she explained. “We will be attempting to teach some of the staff some of  Balcony Pas de deux from ‘Romeo and Juliet’, and also having a photo shoot with Vogue while we are there. Y/n and Hugo, I want those lifts as clean as possible! Chop chop!”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
The week went by and finally you were walking into the McLaren motorhome behind one of the staff members who was showing you around. In the end only 3 people from the company were required to go, Hugo (Romeo), Laura (one of the company's pianists), and you (Juliet). You walked around, keeping an eye out for Oscar, or the rest of the Piastri family who had all told you they’d be visiting.
You were quickly ushered into a makeshift filming studio and told to warm up while they gathered the people you’d be doing the video with you. You chatted and warmed up, trying a few of the lifts from the show and just generally practising your moves.
The door swung open and there he was. Oscar with a grim look on his face who hadn’t even recognised you.
“Do we really have to do this?” he not-so-subtly asked Lando beside him.
“Mate I don’t want to do it either-”
“Y/N!” Nicole’s voice cut through all the noise of the motorhome and the piano stopped. She ran and pulled you into a bone-crushing hug as you laughed.
“Hi Nicole,” you beamed, hugging her back. Hattie, Addie, and Mae weren’t far behind her, and joined in on the hug, emotions flowing as you all started to catch up.
“How are you? How’s work? How’s Paris?” Hattie asked immediately.
“How’s Paris? Is it amazing? Can I visit sometime?” Mae asked, speaking over her sister.
“How are you?!” Addie squealed, taking your hands.
“I’m great, so happy to see the four of you,” you smiled but it dampened as Hugo reminded you of the job at hand. “Sorry guys, we’ll need to catch up later, the fun police has just-”
“Quoi? Je ne suis pas la « police du plaisir » ! Nous avons un travail à faire !” (What? I am not the 'fun police'! We have a job to do!) He defended, but by then the girls had already cleared out, and you’d already turned your attention to Oscar and Lando.
“Hi,” you smiled at Oscar.
“Hi,” he smiled back, a hint of blush on his cheek. “I almost didn’t recognise you.”
“I could say the same for you,” you chuckled. “Became a Formula 1 driver and forgot about your friends, huh?”
He rolled his eyes, chuckling. “Don’t even.”
“Ready for some ballet?” Hugo smiled at the two men, who both just grimaced.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
You started warming them up, learning quickly that while Lando was not flexible, Oscar was even worse.
“And go down further if you can,” you instructed, pushing down on Oscar’s shoulders.
“Bug, I can’t go any further,” he chuckled.
“Bug?” Hugo questioned.
“Childhood nickname,” you dismissed. “Don’t start using it.”
Hugo nodded, holding his hands up in surrender. “Noted.”
“Holy shit, you’re ‘Bug’?” Lando gasped. “He talks about you all the time!”
You chuckled as Oscar’s cheeks went a brilliant shade of pink. “Sure Lando, I’ll believe that when I see it.”
“Alright!” Hugo announced. “Let’s start on some variations!”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
The boys watched in horror as you and Hugo danced around the room. Balcony Pas de deux, your favourite number of the entire show. You did everything perfectly, Hugo did everything perfectly, but when you two danced, sometimes there was something missing. You usually thought that it was just a lack of romantic chemistry because you were such great friends, or maybe it was something else. Lando and Oscar applauded as you two finished your piece, then you turned to them, smiling.
“I have to lift him?!” Lando stressed. You laughed with Hugo.
“No, you’ll be lifting me,” you explained. “Hugo’s going to teach you the moves and you’ll just need to lift me. You don’t even have to go on pointe. It’ll be fun, I promise.”
The boys stayed unconvinced. You’d picked an easy enough professional routine and you were sure they'd get it eventually. You started with teaching them how to properly lift someone so they wouldn’t get hurt, and they wouldn’t drop you. Unsurprisingly, Oscar was very good at this, you remembered how Addie and you would force him to practice lifts with you in the confines of the Piastri family home, and shockingly, the muscle memory was still there after so many years. So, you moved onto teaching him the moves for the first 20ish seconds of the dance. And unsurprisingly, he was very good at the lifts, not so good at the dancing. He couldn’t get his back leg low enough, or he couldn’t extend his arm enough, but you barely noticed. You were having too much fun to notice. You realised you’d been missing fun when dancing with Hugo. Juliet was this spontaneous, youthful character who was full of love and a craving to be loved. Oscar brought out that fun side of you. He always had. You laughed and smiled as you both danced, laughing when he’d trip or almost drop you, but neither of you cared. You moved on and taught him up to about the one minute mark in the piece. There was a lot of repetition and not a lot of male dancing in the first 60 seconds, so he was practically in the clear, all he had to do was smile and lift you. And he did. There wasn’t a moment where either of you weren’t smiling. He looked a bit uncoordinated and you looked thousands of times better than him, but you two were both smiling like little kids.
His hand slipped and he almost dropped you to the floor, concern and shock plastering itself on his face as he scrambled to catch you. “Shit, are you alright?” he asked, somehow catching you by pulling you to his chest.
“I’m fine Osc, no bruised sternums here,” you chuckled. He laughed, reminded of a crash you had in karting as a child.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
As the session came to a close, you did the first minute of the dance with Oscar and with Lando and determined that while Oscar was better at the lifts, Lando wasn’t half-bad either.
“Alright everyone, thanks for tuning in and tell us if you want to see us attempt this again!” Lando smiled at the camera.
“I have no idea how you do that every night,” Oscar sighed, clearly tired and out of breath.
“Sometimes twice a night,” Hugo corrected. “And yes, it is tiring.”
“I don’t know how you sit in a boiling car going 300 kilometres per hour for ninety minutes every Sunday,” you smiled.
“It is tiring,” he shrugged, smiling. “Do you want to grab lunch?”
“Yeah, that sounds good,” you nodded. “Let me just grab my stuff.”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
Catching up with Oscar felt great. You didn’t realise how much you two had in common. From movies, to books, and everything in between. You were even too busy laughing to hear Hugo call you to join him for the Vogue shoot.
“Y/n!” He repeated, gathering others' attention. “Come on! We are being timed here!”
“Coming!” you called back. “Sorry, I completely forgot about the time. Good luck in free practice today, please don't get yourself injured,” you said, pulling him into a hug. “Love you Osc!”
“Good luck!” He called after you. “Love you too Bug!”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
“Childhood crush?” Hugo asked as you two relaxed after the shoot, exhausted after your day.
“Nah, best friend’s brother,” you explained.
“Oh, so even more of a rom com then,” he chuckled.
You scoffed. “No. We’re friends, that’s it.”
“Friends? Friends don’t look at you like you’re the only person in the room, friends don’t somehow laugh their whole way through the first 60 seconds of  Balcony Pas de deux,  friends don’t make puppy dog eyes at you, and still call you by your childhood nickname!” He laughed. You groaned.
“We’re not like that! He’s just… he’s intense with his eye contact-!”
“He wasn’t intense like that for me!”
“I don’t know what to tell you!” You finally gave up. “Come on! There’s no way he-”
“Bug?” Oscar popped his head in the door, sweaty and smiling. “How’d it go?”
“All good,” you nodded. “How did Free Practice go?”
“Good,” he nodded, out of breath. “Went fastest in sector 2.”
“Very impressive!” Hugo smiled, pretending to know what that meant. You chuckled.
“I was wondering if you wanted to stay for the rest of the weekend,” Oscar offered. “Both of you, of course,” he gestured to you and Hugo. “I know you're busy but my mum would kill me if I didn't ask.”
You smiled. Someone else could cover Juliet for one weekend, right? “Yeah, that’d be great.”
“I’d better get back to Paris, but thank you for the kind offer,” Hugo smiled.
“Cool,” Oscar smiled at the both of you. “Addie has offered her room if you want to share with her, but there’s also my apartment, if you want your own bed.”
“My own bed please, Addie kicks in her sleep,” you chuckled. “Thanks Osc.”
“No problem.”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
You said your goodbyes to Hugo and followed the Piastri’s around Monaco for the rest of the day. You saw some of the sights, but eventually ended up in some fancy dinner with good food and good people around you. You were laughing at anyone’s jokes, telling stories, and genuinely just enjoying yourself. Paris had many things, but it didn’t have the Piastri’s. Sometimes you wished you could just shrink them and put them in your pocket to have them with you at all times.
“So, how’s Paris?” Oscar asked as the night died down. You two were on your way back to his apartment and you were a little bit wine-drunk, but neither of you cared.
“It’s amazing, but it doesn’t have you guys,” you patted his shoulder. “I miss you guys like crazy.”
He smiled. “I miss you too.”
“How’s Monaco? It’s so funny that we’ve lived an hour plane ride away from each other and we still haven’t visited each other,” you chuckled.
“Monaco’s nice,” he nodded. “But it doesn’t have you here.”
Suddenly you were a lot more sober than you were 5 seconds ago. “Well, I’m here right now.”
“Exactly,” he smiled. “It’s really good to see you Bug.”
“It’s good to see you too,” you smiled. “Beetle.”
He laughed as you brought up his old nickname. Most people resorted to calling him ‘Osc’ or ‘Ozzy’ now that he’d grown up. He thinks his mum stopped calling him ‘Beetle’ when she visited him at school or races because you weren’t around to be ‘Bug’. Neither of you remembered why it had started, but you and Oscar were Bug and Beetle. It probably would’ve made more sense to have Addie as Beetle, with how much time you two spent together, but in reality it was just both your mums’ collective hopeful thinking that your friendship would turn into something much more. It might’ve, if you’d both stuck around long enough to see it through. Some part of him wondered how his life would’ve turned out if he’d stayed. Not that he didn’t love his life, he did. He was everything he’d ever dreamed of (well, not a Gran Prix winner yet so, not everything), well, everything but one thing. He didn’t realise it at the time, but in every single one of his visualisations of his future that he did as a child (something about a winner’s mentality? He didn’t understand it at the time), he’d imagined you being there with him. He never explicitly said it, but you were either his girlfriend or wife, or something other than a friend. It had always been a certain to him. You were his Bug. He was your Beetle. It just worked.
“What’re you thinking about?” you asked, leaning into him as the street lights illuminated his face. Since when was he so pretty?
“Us as kids,” he smiled. “Remember trying to teach you karting?”
“You mean bruising my sternum? Yes I remember the month of agony thank you very much,” you chuckled. “And I remember how stressed you were running over to me. I think it was the first time I’d ever seen you lose your cool.”
“Well I was about as stressed then as I was today when I almost dropped you,” he laughed.
“Well, you saved me this time,” you chuckled. “My knight in a shining papaya?”
He laughed. “Sounds about right.”
As you two came up to his apartment building, your conversation died down. You two went up to his apartment and he gave you the grand tour, finally showing you your bed for the nights. You said your ‘goodnights’ and then a problem plagued you. It was just meant to be a day trip to Monaco, you were meant to fly back earlier, and now here you were in Monaco with just your dance bag. What was in your dance bag? Your various shoes, a multitude of toe pads and things to stop the pain, three different water bottles, and some random leotards and a skirt.
“Osc?” you knocked on his door, hoping he wasn’t asleep already.
“Yeah?” he came to the door, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Of course, classic Oscar, asleep in seconds. “Everything alright?” He yawned.
No. Everything was very much not alright. He’d come to the door with no shirt on, and you really couldn’t focus on the problem at hand. “I have no clothes,” you blurted out.
He immediately opened his eyes and stared at you, then his brain processed fully what you said. “Oh, no pyjamas,” he nodded. “Sorry, I thought you meant- I’m actually just going to stop myself now.”
You chuckled. “Probably best.”
“Well I’ll give you a hoodie and some of my shorts?” he offered. “Just to sleep in, and then I can bring you to the shopping centre down the way. I think there’s a Zara there or something.”
“You really don’t need to bring me, I’m sure I can find it on my own. I’m sure you’re busy tomorrow-”
“Nonsense,” he shook his head, handing over the clothes. “I have time for you.”
“Thanks Osc.”
You went to sleep with significantly more to think about, so did he.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
You woke up the next morning to the sound of a smoke alarm, a shouting Nicole, and a cursing Oscar. You quickly got up to witness the commotion.
“Y/n! Thank God you’re here!” She groaned and turned to Oscar. “I cannot believe you live on your own, you’re 23 and you can’t make eggs without almost burning your building down?!”
“It wasn;t my fault!” he defended. “You’re the one who came to the door!”
Nicole rolled her eyes as the girls laughed, watching this all unfold. Addie came over and stood beside you, smiling brightly at you.
“What?” you chuckled.
“Nothing,” she smirked. “Nice hoodie.”
Now it was your turn to roll your eyes. “I had no other clothes,” you explained as the arguing continued.
“Not a fan of sleeping in a leo?” she smirked.
“Shockingly no, and also, we have to go shopping for clothes now, since all of mine are in Paris.”
“Shopping! Yes!” Mae cheered. “Let’s go,” she said, immediately starting to drag you out of the apartment.
“I’m not even dressed-!” Your complaints were met with nothing but more pulling.”Alright, alright! Let me grab my phone and my wallet, then I’ll be back out to you, yeah?”
“Yay!” Mae cheered.
You went back into your room, tried your best to make the hoodie and men’s shorts combo look good (it didn’t) and grab your things, then came back out. Oscar was cleaning up the kitchen as Hattie talked to him about the free practice and quali today, and Mae jumped up the moment she saw you.
“Time to go!” she announced. “Bye Osc, good luck! See you at the track!” she called, already halfway out the door.
You chuckled, following behind her, Addie, and Nicole. “Bye Osc!”
He grabbed ahold of your hand and placed a key in your palm. “In case you want to come back and change,” he smiled.
“Thanks Osc,” you grinned. “Maybe leave the cooking to me tonight?”
“You don’t have to-”
“Osc, you’re letting me stay at your house, and you got me a paddock pass to see you. Let me make you dinner.”
He nodded. “Alright. Thank you.”
His hand lingered for another few seconds before Mae called back to you, willing you to ‘come on!’.
“See you later,” you smiled.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
Shopping was fine, you bought some clothes and essential hygiene and makeup, then went back to Oscar’s apartment and got dressed just as FP3 started. You all rushed over to the track to watch, and it went well for Oscar, quali was probably going to be interesting, as per usual. Monaco was always a very special track and you really did enjoy looking around at the beautiful scenery. You noticed how the cameras followed you around, but you just put that down to being with his family.
“Y/n! Can I get a photo?!” a young girl asked. You smiled and knelt down to be at her level.
“Of course you can,” you smiled. “What’s your name?”
“Carlotá,” she nodded. “I do ballet! I love you, you’re so good. I want to be as good as you one day!”
“Well I can’t wait to see you on stage one day! Maybe we’ll even get to dance together,” you chuckled, heart warmed by her enthusiasm.
“I hope we do!” she smiled.
You quickly got a photo with her and then you were back on your way to the McLaren hospitality with Addie talking your ear off about her new college courses as you listened intently. Suddenly, Oscar was in front of you, sweaty but smiley.
Nicole immediately pulled him into a tight hug and you saw the weight lift off of her shoulders, if only for a short time. “All my kids are safe,” she sighed, and you knew you were a part of that. You’d always admired how much she cared and how deeply she cared about everyone in her life, it was incredible. Hattie hugged him next, then Addie, and lastly Mae. You smiled and gave him a pat on the back as Zak Brown ushered you further into the hospitality for a ‘family lunch’.
“So, I never knew Oscar had a girlfriend,” Zak smiled, turning to you.
Your face dropped. “Oh, um… he’s not my boyfriend. I’m just a family friend,” you explained. The air in the room had been sucked out and everything was a bit more awkward.
“Oh gosh! Sorry, I just thought because of the video- I really need to remember to not just believe YouTube comments,” he chuckled. He’d somehow charmed his way out the awkward moment, and you found yourself laughing too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oscar wasn’t laughing. He quite liked the idea that his boss thought you were his girlfriend. He was just as fond of the internet thinking you were his girlfriend. He’d made a devastating revelation last night. His mum had been right all those years when she told him that he’d end up with you. Well, not that you’d ended up together yet, he still had to do the ‘asking out’ part. Nicole watched as his frown deepened the more you laughed at the comments of the YouTube video of you teaching Lando and Oscar ballet with Hugo.
“Wow, I think you might need to post something to tell everyone you’re just friends,” Zak laughed, showing you some more comments.
You nodded. “I’ll post a baby picture or something,” You chuckled, turning to Oscar. “At least you’ve got the acting part of ballet down.”
He smiled. “Exactly.”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
As the day progressed, you watched with bated breath as quali went underway, and Oscar qualified P2. You were ecstatic, jumping up and down with Addie and Nicole as Hattie and Mae cried in the back. All five of you had never been good with toning it down during his races. You just loved him so much, NOT like that, obviously. But in the friendly, totally platonic, family friend way.
Nicole led the rest of you through the motorhome and you finally found him, sweaty and smiley once again.
“Osc!” Nicole cheered, pulling him in for a hug. Addie, Hattei, and Mae all joined their hug, and you weren’t sure if it was right for you to join too, so you stayed back, taking a few photos of the five of them hugging. A part of you wanted to make it your wallpaper, but suddenly Oscar was in front of you.
“Congratulations!” you smiled.
“Y/n, I’m tired and I really don’t want to beg for a hug, please?” He smiled. You chuckled and wrapped your arms around his neck, his went around your waist, burying his face in your shoulder. “Thank you,” he whispered.
“Well done Osc,” you smiled.
You didn’t catch the way Addie and Hattie smirked at each other, or the way Nicole gushed over the two of you, or the way Mae took a few photos of the two of you, immediately sending them to Oscar’s phone, knowing he’d want them.
You pulled back, a bright smile on your face, then turned to the girls. “Alright, I’m making dinner tonight, you guys ready to go?”
“Oh, we have a booking at this restaurant tonight,” Nicole sighed. “Another time?”
You nodded. “Of course, see you all later,” you smiled.
If you’d looked slightly more to your left, you would’ve seen Oscar silently beg them to not intrude on the date you didn’t know was a date. Of course, being the Y/noscar shippers they were, they obliged with as minimal smirking as possible, which was a lot. You hugged them goodbye then turned to Oscar.
“Alright, you go shower and then direct me to the nearest supermarket!” You instructed and he smiled.
“Sir, yessir,” he joked, saluting you. “You can wait in my driver’s room if you want.”
“Sounds good.”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
Your evening was wonderful, you spent the evening walking around Monaco and grabbing supplies for dinner, then the actual cooking was rather enjoyable (aka you cooked your famous chilli and he sat in the corner, chatting away to you) and finally, cozying up on the couch with your favourite childhood movie, Cars. Well, it was his favourite, yours was Ballerina. Anyways, as the film continued on, you found yourselves getting closer and closer to each other. First it was an arm around the back of the couch, then an arm around you, then you were leaning into his side, until you had your head on his chest and he had a satisfied smile on his face.
As the film came to a close, you got up and stretched, yawning.
“Y/n,” he spoke. “I’ve really enjoyed having you around these past few days,” he smiled.
“I’ve really enjoyed being around you,” you smiled back.
“I’m in love with you,” he blurted out. It wasn’t exactly the smooth delivery he’d imagined since he was a teenage boy stalking your instagram from thousands of kilometres away, but it would work. Hopefully.
“Pardon?” You stared at him shocked.
He let out a nervous breath. “I’m in love with you.”
You nodded. You didn’t exactly know what to make of it all. You loved him too, so why wouldn’t your mouth make the words? This was so stupid, just say it! Say it! Say-“I love you too,” you finally blurted out after a few seconds of buffering.
His nervous frown turned into a bright smile, and his hands landed on your waist, pulling you into him. He hugged you close for a moment, internally calming down. “Kept me waiting there,” he chuckled.
“Sorry,” you smiled. You pulled away a little bit, then pressed your lips to his. “Brain fart.”
He laughed, then pressed his lips to yours again, in a perfect, Oscar, kiss. You could feel his hands on your waist, every brush of his brush against your forehead, every piece of skin on yours. You couldn’t get enough.
“You have a race in the morning,” you whispered, pulling back from the kiss just enough to remind him.
He nodded, connecting your lips again. His kisses were getting more and more heated, more and more consuming, more and more hungry. He was barely listening. He was kissing you. Everything little him had dreamt of.
“Oscar,” you pulled back, getting serious. “Wait until after the race, alright?”
He nodded, pressing his lips to your again, this time quicker and softer. “Sorry.”
“Don’t apologise,” you smiled. “I would want to too, just… I don’t want to impair you’re-” you awkwardly tried to explain as he tried to hold back laughter. He failed and ended up laughing in your face, only making you laugh too.
“God I love you,” he smiled bashfully.
“I love you too.”
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
The next morning, you woke up to Oscar beside you, his arms wrapped around you. You smiled. This felt right. He felt right.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
You walked into the paddock hand in hand and Nicole immediately gasped. “You’re finally together?!”
You laughed. “Yeah, we are,” you nodded. The four of them were a mix of cheering and crying, all ecstatic for you both.
“If you hurt her I’ll kill you!” Addie warned, pointing a finger in Oscar’s face.
“I wouldn’t dream of it,” he smiled, looking at you.
୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅୨ৎ⋅
You watched in awe as he crossed the finish line in P2, celebrating with his sisters and mum. You all ran to the Parc Fermé, ready to greet him. He ran over to you five, hugging his mum first, then running straight to you. He smiled then pulled you in for a kiss.
“Congratulations,” you smiled, pulling back.
“I have to watch you dance now,” he rushed out as Addie pulled him over for a hug. “I love you!” He shouted, being pulled away by Lando, knowing they were on a time crunch.

Passion
Fandom: Star Wars - The Acolyte
Pairing: Qimir x GN!Reader
Summary: Your attraction to Qimir grows as well as your strength in the Force.
Qimir Masterlist
Tumblr media
Not only has Qimir been helping you strengthen your connection to the Force. He's also been helping you how to fight and attack those who threaten to knock you down if they so choose.
He swings at you with a staff and you bend back as it nearly hits your head. He swings overhead and you block the hit with your own staff.
"Good," he pulls back, twirling his weapon in his hand, "Your defense is strong. Now it's your turn. Attack me," he goes into a stance, holding his staff out.
You yell out as you come at him with full force. You swing left and right. Your blows are blocked in swift, fluid motions. You thrust your staff at him and he dodges it.
You glare at him, which makes him chuckle. That sounds eggs you on further as you continue to attack Qimir with as much strength as you can.
"You're frustrated. Good. Use that feeling and call upon the Force."
He swings at you and you block it. Both of your staffs forming an X. You know Qimir is holding back his strength and it makes you a little bit angry. You feel yourself vibrate as you summon the Force.
Qimir, feeling you go stronger, hardens his gaze. He leans in, occupying the open space between the two staffs, his lips close to yours, "Do it," he whispers.
You punch your fist forward and, with the Force, Qimir is thrust into the air and falls onto his back with a hard thud.
He groans out a laugh, "That's it. That's what I've been waiting for." He sits up and rolls back his shoulders, "That," he points at you, "I need more of that from you."
You let out a deep breath and walk over to him. You stick your hand out and he takes it. You help him to his feet and when he stands, his face is right up close to yours.
"You're doing well," he says softly, his breath upon your lips.
He's been getting a lot closer these days. His touch and eyes lingering on you. You shouldn't like it, but you can't help it.
You always found Qimir as attractive, but now with the closeness and his bold actions, your resolve is weakening.
You gulp, taking a step back, "But I can be better."
"You're already doing well for the short time you've been here, don't invalidate your efforts." He uses the Force to bring his staff to him, and he holds out his hand for yours. You hand it to him and look away, "I need to be better."
"And you will in time," he starts trekking down the hill and you follow him, "How long did it take Mae?"
"Stop comparing yourself to her. Her journey is much different from yours."
You follow him in silence until you enter the cave that you now call your home, "Does it bother you that I compare myself to Mae?"
Setting the staffs aside, Qimir sighs, "I understand why you do. A part of me is okay with it because it motivates you. It drives you to work harder and improve."
"But?"
"But Mae is different. She began her training when she was young. So, yes, she is more skilled and her connection to the Force is much stronger. But that doesn't mean yours won't be. I'll make sure of that," he says the last sentence with finality, leaving you somewhat satisfied with his response.
You let out a deep exhale, "I'm going to wash up and clear my head," you point a finger at him, "I better not find you watching me." He chuckles and turns his back to you.
You go to the shore and proceed to strip to nothing. The weather has been warmer so the cool temperature of the water is a welcoming sensation.
You walk further out to the point you're wading in the water. You let out a relaxed sigh. You cup your hands, scooping up water and dunking it onto your head. You smile to yourself at the cool feeling.
"Y/N," you hear a whisper and you look around.
"Hello?"
"Y/N," you hear the whisper again.
"Qimir?" you call out to the man and he doesn't appear.
You feel a tug at your leg and the whisper of your name again. You don't see anything in the water, yet you still feel a light tug.
You continue to wade there, contemplating about going under or not.
"Y/N, come, Y/N," the distant voice whispers.
Your curiosity gets the best of you. You take a deep breath and plunge yourself underwater.
____________________
Qimir was working on lunch while you cleaned up. Various stews, soups, and occasional roasted meats were what made up a majority of your meals. Today was another stew.
It didn't take long to make, so once it was ready, Qimir was stepping outside the cave, to let you know lunch was ready. No response.
He walks down the path to the shore where he sees your discarded clothes, but he doesn't see you.
"Y/N?!" he calls as he looks around, hoping you'd reveal yourself. Then he sees a splash in the water and your arms flailing about.
"Y/N!" he cries out as he runs into the water without hesitation. He swims as fast as he could to your struggling form. His arms wrapping around you and he begins to pull you towards the shore.
When you break through the surface, you let out a sputtering gasp, water following from your mouth. You're coughing when Qimir finally reaches shore.
He looks at you with concern, "Are you okay? What happened?"
You blink at him in confusion, "Wha-Where-" you take in your surroundings and then realize the state you're in, "Kriff, where are my clothes?"
Qimir quickly hands them to you and you do your best to cover up. He looks away, allowing you to quickly re-dress.
"What happened?" he asks, his back still to you.
"I heard a voice," you respond and he turns back to you with furrowed brows, "A woman's voice. She was calling my name and I felt a tug. It felt like something wanted me to go under the water. So I did and...I'm not sure what happened," you look down, recalling what you saw, "I saw my aunt and then...I think I saw my mother. Then I heard screaming and-and I started choking." You look up, "Has that happened to you before?"
He gives a curt nod, "Voices, a calling. Visions."
"Is it the Force or something else?"
"It might be the Force trying to connect you to something or someone. You said you were raised by your aunt. You never knew your parents?"
You shake your head, "My aunt said they were troubled people, that they got involved into dangerous things. They left me with my aunt and never came back." You clear your throat, "Thank you...for saving me."
"Of course," Qimir mumbles and nods to the cave, "C'mon. Lunch is ready."
___________________________
After lunch, you and Qimir are at the top of the hill again. This time, no weapons.
"The Jedi can fight with and without a saber. You need to be skilled at both if you want to defeat them," Qimir explains as he circles you, "You're proficient, but you need to be better." He then holds up a piece of fabric, "Let's see how you do without one of your senses."
"How am I supposed to fight then?"
"I'll let you figure that out," he says teasingly as he stands behind you, tying the cloth over your eyes.
You do your best to listen to his movements. You hear him step and you immediately turn your head to the right. Hearing another step, this time closer, you immediately punch your right fist out. Qimir immediately catches it in his fist.
"Close."
With his hand still on your wrist, you pull him in and kick him back, making him release you. You're smirking, "Point for me."
He gives a low laugh, "I'll admit, my defenses were down. But they won't be this time."
You inhale and relax your body. You feel the power of the Force within you as Qimir attempts to strike at you but you dodge. You weave through a combination of punches. Block a kick here and there before you're attacking him back.
You can't see it, but he's smiling as he blocks your attempts. His eyes shine with pride and amusement, especially when he blocks one hit, only to be punched in the chest. His chest feels heavy but not because of the hit.
You take a few steps back, slightly breathless, "Another point for me."
You don't hear him and your brows furrow, "Qimir?" he doesn't respond and when you take off your blindfold, he's standing right in front of you. You look at him with concern, "Everything okay?"
He observes you face. Taking in the color of your eyes, the slope of your nose, curve of your lips. His eyes lingering on your lips a little too long.
His hand slowly comes up to cup the back of your neck.
"Qimir," you whisper his name but nothing else. You're not sure what you want to say.
His face draws in closer, his lips a breath away from yours. He's hesitating and you don't want him to any longer.
You close the the gap, pressing your lips against his. You grip onto his shirt as if afraid that he'd disappear if you do.
He kisses you with fervency and desperation. You don't think you've ever been kissed in such a way, with so much want. So much...passion.
When he pulls away for air, he looks at you with a slight haze in his eyes.
Realization sets in. Insecurity creeps.
You move to back away, but stops you, "Don't." his demand is low and desperate, "Don't run from it. I know you've been feeling it too."
"I don't know what I'm feeling," you reply hastily.
He nods, "Yes, you do, because I've been feeling it since we first met." He lifts his hand up and you lift yours, mirroring his. You feel the pulsing vibrations between the two of you. You feel the pull of him, the want to be close to him.
"What does it mean?"
Qimir takes your hand, interlocking his fingers with yours, "That we are meant to be."

Can you do prego reader x Thomas Hewitt?
I sure can!
Thomas loves kids. He adores them, always has. He desperately wants a family of his own, but the idea is pretty short lived considering no one in his entire town will look at him, let alone want to spend their life raising a family with him.
So, he throws the idea away, tossing it to the back of his mind with the rest of his dreams that have been crushed due to his conditions.
But then, here comes you.
Not only do you look at him, but you stare, as if you're caught in a trance by his presence alone. He's nervous under your gaze, but he doesn't run as you approach him, introducing yourself.
You're so very kind, and as time moves on, and the two of you begin to become close, he's infatuated.
He spends a long time entranced, pining from a distance, too afraid to even approach you with the idea of possibly having a relationship, simply happy just to be by your side as a friend.
No one can tell you how he could possibly miss your own affection for him, or how you could miss his.
But the two of you dance around each other for too long, always teasing at the possibility of more, but self doubt and hesitation keeping you both at bay.
The tension finally snaps when Thomas sees a random, older biker hitting on you at the old station.
He doesn't really know what breaks inside him, his arms snaking around your waist from behind, burying his face in your neck, but the way you lean back against his chest and run a hand through his hair, all while holding eye contact with the old creep, tells him it wasn't a mistake.
He's a lot more affectionate with you after that, mostly in private, but he doesn't shy away from holding you close to ward off any creeps that may take an interest in you.
Your first kiss is slow, and messy. It's clear Thomas doesn't know what he's doing as he holds your wrists, letting you cup his face in the dark of his bedroom.
Luda Mae would throw a fit if she found out you snuck out of the guest room they let you stay in, slipping out in the middle of the night to see Thomas when you couldn't sleep.
But neither of you could seem to care as you gently pull his mask off, moving it out of the way as you cup his scarred face, rubbing circles over his cheekbones.
He lets you take the lead, following your movements slowly and carefully as he tests the waters, eagerly returning your affections.
It doesn't go much farther than that, but it doesn't need to. You and Thomas have always gone at your own pace, and as long as you have each other, that's all that matters to you.
Years pass and the two of you inevitably get hitched, and all of the sudden that desire Thomas hid away all those years comes flooding back.
Thomas wants kids.
He's still unsure, nervous about how you'd feel about the idea. He doesn't want to bring it up and ruin everything by making you uncomfortable, but he desperately wants to have a family with you.
So, when he finally works up the courage, and you tell him you want kids as well, he's all over you.
It's less than three months after your wedding you find out you're pregnant, and the entire family is overjoyed.
Thomas is ecstatic, almost in disbelief that this is actually happening, and that he's actually going to be a father.
Luda Mae is delighted at the idea of grandchildren, and it even puts a smile on Hoyt's face.
No one can wait to welcome the newest Hewitt to the family, everyone in joyous spirits for the entire duration of the pregnancy.
It doesn't take long for your stomach to swell and grow, and everything you do has Thomas worried and fidgeting, not wanting to be overbearing but mind racing with everything that could go wrong.
Luda Mae is your main source of confidence, having already gone through her own pregnancy long ago. Any anxieties or fears the two of you have, she helps calm, and any questions that could keep either of you up at night, she has the answers.
You're very noticeablely pregnant by your third month, your stomach poking out and making your shirts ride up, leaving everyone to come to one conclusion:
"It's twins." Luda Mae looks at you over the rim of her cup as she takes another sip of coffee.
"Twins!?" Your eyes are wide as you grip the table in front of you, barely grasping what she just said, "But how- how could you possibly know that!?"
"Well, look at'ya." She gestures to you from across the table.
You rub your hand over your not so little bump, looking between her and your stomach, "I mean, yea, but that doesn't mean it has to be twins, right?"
"You better listen to Mama on this one." Hoyt pitches in from where he's leaning back in the other chair, his own coffee mug in front of him, "She ain't never been wrong about this."
Thomas is, of course, ecstatic about this. He wants multiple children, so to him this makes things easier. Depending on how you feel about it, he would consider having more, but he's more than happy with twins.
Hoyt spends the couple of months before your due date bringing in more victims to sort of 'stock' up so Thomas won't have to leave your side during the last month of your pregnancy. Which, good luck to anyone trying to pull him away from you during the last month, he's practically glued to your hip.
It pretty much goes without saying everyone expects you to do a home birth. Of course, if you really want to, (or need to due to a high-risk labor), Luda Mae will take you to the hospital in the next town over.
While Thomas normally hates going to town, for anything really, nothing is going to stop him from being there for the birth, so it doesn't matter where or how you decide to have the twins, he's going to be by your side for the entirety of it.
...And that's pretty much a less analytical more drabbily sort of take on it. Thanks for sending in the ask! <3

Qimir x Padawan! Reader
Synopsis: Why would your master want a padawan like you when he has his acolyte?
Notes: thank you guys for your support, like for real, please like, comment or reblog so I'll know if u want me to continue the story!
Tumblr media
You felt.. weird.
In a way, nothing looked wrong, you left immediately after you got your clothes, but there was something, you couldn't point your finger at it.
Was it because he was so eerily welcoming? Or the fact that him, a Jedi, let you go so quickly? No interrogation or anything, not even a slight inspection, well maybe they did when you were unconscious, but still, there was something.
You looked behind you one last time before hurriedly entering your ship, you felt safe there, knowing your master blessed this ship (i mean, he stepped on it once but never after that anyways—)
You hear the animal chittering from afar, at least someone was waiting for you.
"Helloo" you couldn't stop the smile on your face when you picked him up, or her? You still couldn't think of a name, or if you can even keep it, maybe you can keep it hidden in your ship until you convince Qimir to let it live with him..
The ground beneath you shakes, a signal that you're finally home, you've never wanted to kiss the rocks of this planet so bad, normally you go on missions with Mae or Qimir, but never alone, you hated that, even without Mae, he never lets you go alone, it's bullshit, he treats you like a kid, which you are not.
Then you felt him.
Qimir.
Was he here?
You smiled and hurriedly hopped down the last step of your ship, you were buzzing in anticipation, he never visited you guys, not even once, or maybe it's whenever you weren't there, but you couldn't care less about that now, you were so excited you forgot to change from the Jedi's clothes into your own, eh, who cares.
You pause when you see your master and Mae, no Qimir in sight.
"Where did you go?" Mae says, frowning when her eyes land on your clothes. "And wha—"
"Mae."
You both straightened at the sound of his stern voice.
"Master," she bows and gives you a knowing look before swiftly leaving the cave.
"M-master—"
"Where. Were. You." It was the same question, but this time there was something more sinister in his tone. "Olega, master, I was in, in Olega to visit—"
"Him."
"Yea-- yes master"
"Hm." He looked contented for a bit, maybe it was because he couldn't hear your thoughts— no, he would've been more alarmed when he couldn't, you concealed a part where you met the Jedi, you wonder if it was working.
"Then," he was once again towering over you, menacingly staring you down with his mask, you felt the shift in his demeanor, or just something that flicked off there, you were looking directly at his chest, scared that you could burn holes in his helmet if you kept looking.
He was gripping your arm— no, he was gripping the sleeves of your clothes, you didn't know where or what he was looking at, but with the way his knuckles were turning white, you think you'd done something.
"M-master—"
"Your.."
You try and decipher what he was feeling at the moment, but that always fails every time. You frown as you try to understand his unusual intensity, the way he was visibly shaking in anger.
"A-are you alright..? You-- your—"
"What is this?" His voice was filled with anger, his saber long forgotten behind him on the counter.
"I-- I'm," you couldn't find your voice, he was scaring you like this, you don't ever see him as scary as he is in the battle field, or hunting big creatures. And as if he saw right through you.
"Answer me."
The calmness of his voice scares you even more, the explanations on your mind melts on your tongue, like cotton candy, gone away before you could munch.
"I-I don't.. it's—"
"Whose is this!"
"I don't know!"
Your lower lip trembles as you gasp, your fingers unconsciously reach over to the grip your master has on you.
"Oh you know," his chuckle sends a chill down your spine, what was wrong with him?
"You dare lie to me?"
"N-no, I wouldn't please—"
"Then tell me!" The cave seemed to shake at his voice. "Tell. Me"
He knew, but you didn't have to know that, you didn't have to tell him because he knows, he just needs you to be honest, is that so hard?
"J-jedi!"
You whimper, the grip he had on you started making your arm numb, like a blood clot. "I-it hurts please sto—"
He shoves you hard on the ground, but before you hit the surface, you feel his arm around yourself, your arms tucked in your chest with his biceps flexing in front, your back against his chest.
You don't move an inch as his breath tickles down your ear and to your neck.
"Good-" he resists the urge to finish the sentence, quickly shutting his mouth. You're painfully aware of his close proximity, your hips unintentionally buckle against him, particularly his lower regions that started to poke you earlier, didn't he have his saber on the counter?
You heard him groan, but shrugged it off thinking it was because of pain. You realized you were shivering, the cold wind was only a factor of why, you've never been this close with your master, not even Mae, his acolyte, got this direct with him.
"M-master—"
"Shh," he pauses, your feet getting raised above the ground by an inch, you were now half standing and half sitting on his lap, your cheeks burn at the slightest move the both of you make, every heartbeat felt amplified, resonating through your entire body as his presence enveloped you.
"Was that so hard?"
"W-what?"
"Telling me the truth, was it so hard for you to spit out the truth that you came in touch with a Jedi? That he, he touched you?"
You could barely think, your lungs constricted by the intensity of his gaze and the closeness of his body.
"Why? Were you trying to..." His voice was low and dark, each word dripping with an intensity that made your skin prickle. "Protect him.. perhaps?"
"No! N-no.. I wasn't, I promise, I was only—"
"Did you like it?"
You were dizzy, the warmth of his body rutting against yours felt almost electrifying, the pressure sending a jolt down through your body.
"W-wha.."
"Yord was it? Mhm," despite the anger on the way the Jedi's name rolled off his tongue, there was a fleeting softness in his eyes whenever you tried to hold onto him, did you not trust him?
You could hear the soft, ragged sounds of his breath against your ear, each exhale stirring a sense of tension and anticipation.
"Y-your scaring me—"
"Scaring you?" He sounded like he was mocking you, but there was something in his tone that tells you there was something else, something more sinister.
"You're scared of me?"
You gulp, the nod you gave was short-lived when you hear Mae's voice outside the cave, your eyes widen as you try to signal your master, but he didn't move an inch, maybe he didn't hear you?
Or maybe he just chose not to.

Reports come in of strange ecological events from the East.
Maes is sitting in Roy's office, going over them, and they share a dubious look across his desk. Roy says, "It could be nothing."
"Could be," he agrees. Maybe.
"Military presence won't exactly be welcomed in that area," he says.
Maes frowns, says, "Give me a minute," then leaves Roy staring at him in confusion. He comes back dragging Ed behind him. He's got his jacket off and the sleeves of his dress shirt pushed up to his elbows. There's soot all over him, his arms and even a streak on his forehead, and his long golden hair is out of its typical hightail and instead piled into a messy bun. He assumes to keep it out of whatever fire Kahyal had started, but it is distracting.
"Hi Roy," he says, rocking back on his feet with his hands on his hips. It pulls his shirt tight across chest.
Maes snaps his fingers between them. "Hello? Focus. Ed, I've got some undercover work for you."
Roy tears his eyes away from Ed to stare incredulously at Maes. "Ed? Undercover?"
"Shut up," Ed says, but without much heat. He drops into the chair across from his desk, getting soot all of over it as well. "We do that a lot, actually. That's why Maes likes us so much."
"Well, it's one reason," he says dryly, handing the report over.
Ed wipes his hands on his pants before taking it, for all the good that does. He glances through it. "Hmm, yeah okay. I'll take Al, it'll be fun. Russell can pretend he's in charge while we're gone and Winry can beat him halfway to death with her wrench."
"Who is in charge while you're both gone?" Roy asks, almost dreading the answer.
"Sciezka," Ed and Maes answer together.
Of course.

What about yandere Caesar? Or yandere noa :) (headcannons please)
[Yandere Noa and Caesar x reader headcanons]
Tumblr media
Summary: You're their human, only theirs.
Warnings: This is more so them being toxic, more than yandere, I'm sorry!
A/N: it physically took me ages to figure out how to write these two as yanderes, so this isn't really true to the prompt! I am so sorry anon, I've never actually written yandere stuff to begin with so this was out of my usual, I doubt this is any good. I hope to do better next time though!
Tumblr media
Noa:
Yandere Noa is not nearly as insane as more other yanderes you'll find.
He's able to get away with it by subtle manipulation, treating you like a puppy who doesn't know any better.
Why would you go against him? He's your only companion in this world, surely you don't think the others will forgive you for what Mae did to all of them? They're pretending to like you, they don't actually want you to join them, to become one of them. But it's okay, you have him, he'll never leave your side, no matter what.
He blatantly aims to make you depend on him, he won't teach you any of the tribes customs, you're learning on your own silently or he's doting on you.
You want to go eat? Not without him, matter of fact, you're gonna sit on his lap while he has one arm wrapped around your waist, it gets tighter when another ape comes up to speak, they don't notice the discomfort on your face when Noa squeezes more.
He's a guilt tripper, he has no issues with bringing up how he's the one who welcomed you into the clan, that you'd think you'd owe it to him to be by his side, right?
Noa feels remorse about it, but he'll still use his dad's passing against you whenever he feels you try and fight him. He reasons that it's only right. He lost so much, he just wants you, surely, you like him back? To be his?
Tumblr media
Caesar:
Caesar is the worst of the two, period.
Caesar is the leader of the colony, and no one, even if they do think it'd weird just how on a short leash he keeps you, will bring it up.
It is extremely rare when you are out of his sight, confined to the family nest and if you are to go anywhere, he's there to follow.
Doesn't really want any other apes near you, but he has to put on the act of being sane, so he lets you interact with the women and a select few of the men.
It boils his blood when you go up against him, he will tell you straight up, had it not been for him, for his mercy, you would've been dead already. Be that by other apes or natural selection.
You should be grateful he is sweet on you, that he takes care of you day in and day out despite so many others being afraid of humans.
He won't hurt you, but intimidation is key and he is no stranger to pushing you against a wall and growling or snarling in your face.
Only to switch tones immediately upon seeing your face get splotchy with tears, cooing at you and wiping then away with his thumbs.
Very hot and cold, you never know when he's gonna snap and treat you harshly, spitting at you that you're no better than the humans that had once ruled over him, or coddling you, holding you to him as he drowns himself in your scent, not caring that you're uncomfortable with his canines so close to your neck.

**First Act**
_________________________________
The day was coming to an end. Noa was returning home with a successful hunt. He and his friends had managed to catch a pair of rabbits and a adult deer, earning them a warm welcome.
The situation was difficult for the village. Since his father had died, he and his mother were the only hope for their survival. They had to lead the rest to survive, and that was his duty as the new leader of the village.
"Well done, son," his mother said.
Noa sat down beside his mother, hugging her and offering her a piece of food, which she refused.
Their happiness was interrupted by some apes who arrived running and shouting.
"It's an Echo! We've seen one near here!"
Noa managed to understand what one of them was saying.
"Calm down," Noa said, standing up and addressing them. "It's probably just passing through. Echos usually move when it starts to get cold."
"This one is different. We've heard it talk! It was settling near the village."
Another ape spoke up, frightened.
"Don't worry, it won't hurt us."
"You don't understand. Echos are evil, the farther away from us, the better."
"If that means underground, even better."
"Yes!"
Many of the apes supported the idea of killing the Echo.
"We can't act impulsively. We need to think with a clear head."
Noa defended the idea of reaching a consensus.
"You're our leader. You must defend our home from those things!"
The ape began to feel the pressure from his village. Everyone wanted to see how the new leader would handle a dangerous situation.
"Fine! I'll take care of it myself." Noa didn't like the idea, but he said, "Tomorrow, I'll go to where you saw it and bring back proof that the Echo is no longer a problem."
Noa received a big ovation, but he couldn't take his eyes off his mother, who disapproved of his attitude.

**Second Act**
_________________________________
Anaya and Soona, Noa's best friends, were already ready to go after the Echo. They were determined to accompany their leader, not just as friends, but as family.
The plan was to approach the Echo on foot, without horses, so as not to scare it, and kill it with the arrows they used for hunting. But Noa had taken something else from the village - a remedy that they took when they felt pain, in case he couldn't bear the scene, he would give it to the Echo himself.
It would have been just another Echo, but the idea of being able to hear one talk for the first time had haunted him all night. What if he could talk to it? What if it could defend itself by talking? What set them apart from animals if they couldn't talk?
But his village needed him. They had never encountered an Echo like this before, and it was a danger to his people. It was written that way.
When they were far enough from the village, Noa turned to his friends, stopping them.
"I have to go alone from here."
"What? No, we're not going to leave you." Soona approached him, grabbing his hands.
"Soona, I have to do this alone. I'm the leader now, and I have to be responsible for my words and my responsibilities towards our people. And one of those responsibilities is taking care of you too."
"I don't care about your position. We also want to take care of you."
Anaya joined the two, and they ended up in a three-way hug.
"I'm sure I can handle this. But I need to do it alone." He finally convinced them.
Anaya and Soona walked away, and he began to walk forward. He didn't look back, it would be easier to fulfill his responsibility alone and as the leader he had to be.

**Third Act**
_________________________________
He could observe her easily. She didn't seem to have seen him, and she continued with her life as usual. She walked back and forth, going to and from the river near the home she had built.
She was very resourceful. With the help of stones, branches, sticks, and leaves, she had built a kind of settlement near the river. She had everything she needed to survive just a few steps away.
Noa couldn't help but analyze her. From her physical features to her delicate movements. What she seemed to be doing was cooking with leaves and fruits he couldn't recognize.
They had warned him that this Echo was not normal. If she could talk, it was already very different from the ones he had encountered before, but he had never imagined what he had in front of him. If it weren't for her small body, little hair, small eyes, small hands, small waist, the bulge on her chest, and small feet, he could have sworn he was looking at an ape.
But he had to push those thoughts out of his mind. He had come to kill her, and he had already wasted too much time analyzing her.
He raised his bow and placed the arrow right at the Echo's heart direction. His hands were shaking. It was the first time they had shaken like that. He had to admit, this wasn't a normal hunt. He wasn't going to kill her out of necessity, nor did he need her skin or any part of her body. He was going to kill her because he feared her. Not just him, but his people. And that had to be his thought, his people were waiting for him to bring back proof of the event.
His vision became blurry as his heart began to beat strongly, he couldn't look. He released the arrow without being able to see well where it was headed.
"Ah!"
He heard the Echo's despairing cry.
_________________________________
**Fourth Act**
_________________________________
Noa found himself in front of the Echo. His blurry vision and sweaty hands hadn't allowed him to hit his target. His main objective was the Echo's heart, but due to his nerves, the arrow had ended up hitting one of her sides.
She looked at him with open, frightened eyes, trembling while she held her side. She had pulled out the arrow and was trying to stop the bleeding.
Noa could have stood there, watching her die from bleeding, but he couldn't help but approach her and offer her a piece of cloth from his own arm to stop the bleeding.
The human looked at him doubtfully, taking the cloth.
"Why?"
He didn't know what to answer. Why had he attacked her? Why was he helping her? Because his heart was in constant struggle over what was right against his mind.
Echos had to be kept away. They wouldn't approach them, and they wouldn't live with them. Beyond the Valley was forbidden to cross because Echos were there.
The elders of his clan described them as monsters that killed each other, creatures that took everything around them and massacred it. Wild animals that would kill their own siblings for power.
But in front of Noa, he saw a smaller creature than him, harmless, and not having harmed them, alone, and with no signs of damage to nature around her. Not even signs of fires or dead animals.
Noa crouched down beside the human and covered her wound, helping her stop the bleeding.
"I don't know why. Neither do I."

**Fifth Act**
_________________________________
Noa had decided to move the unconscious Echo to the nest of leaves covered by a roof of branches. At least there, she would be comfortable and covered in case the sun bothered her or it rained. But he had to go back to the village, he had to go back to Anaya and Soona, because if he took too long, he was sure they would come to see what had happened to him, and that wouldn't be good.
He had to do it quickly. Kill the nearest animal he could find, so he would have something to feed the Echo when she woke up, but also use a significant part of it to show in his village, her heart.
A hare had been the sacrifice for his plan, he didn't have time to go for a bigger animal, and with the hare's heart, he was sure his village would calm down.
He took long strides, quickly, so as not to take too long. Right where he had left them, Anaya and Soona were waiting for him. They ran to hug him and looked at what he was carrying.
"Did you do it?" Soona asked, stepping back from the hug.
"Yes."
He was lying. He was lying to his friends for an Echo. But he didn't have another choice.
In the village, they received him as the leader he was. With hugs and praise towards him. He couldn't bear the weight on his chest. He was lying to everyone.
"Son, are you okay?" His mother was the only one who could feel something in him, and she didn't take long to approach him and ask questions.
"Yes, why wouldn't I be? We've gotten rid of that Echo! Isn't that right?"
"Because it's the first time you're acting like the leader of the clan." His mother hugged him. "I know it's hard, going against your ideals to follow the clan's ideals. No one asks if you're okay when you come back, they just receive you as the leader."
"I'm fine, mom."
She was the only one who could discover everything if she noticed his strange behavior. So he had to act normally... how was he supposed to act normally after supposedly killing an Echo that hadn't done anything to them?

**Sixth Act**
_________________________________
That same morning, Noa had gone back to where the Echo was. He expected to find her where he had left her, but he was surprised to see her standing, trembling, by the riverbank.
"Hey, you shouldn't be there."
She jumped back, trying to get away from him.
"It's okay, I'm here to help you."
"You're the one who hurt me."
Well, he couldn't deny that.
"I'm sorry. Please, let me help you."
"H-how can you apologize for something like that?"
She had started to breathe with difficulty, holding her wound.
"Sh, it's okay. We'll talk when you're cured."
Noa held her wound again, seeing how it was still humid, and proceeded to clean it, forcing her to lie down on the nest.
The ape had brought new bandages in case he needed to change them, so he proceeded to change them.
"I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you."
"It's hard to believe. Did you think I was livestock or something?"
"No, my village is scared of you, and they wanted me to kill you."
"And, why didn't you?"
Noa continued to change the bandages, unable to look her in the eye.
"I don't know. I didn't want to kill you personally, without knowing you. But it's my duty as the leader."
That information silenced the human. She grabbed his hand with the one he was using to clean her.
"Well, as the leader, stop. You've done your duty, you've tried to kill me, give them that information, and I'll run away from here. That way, you can say I escaped."
Noa shook his head, turning his hand to hold hers.
"No, you're already dead to them."

**Seventh Act**
_________________________________
Noa had been going back and forth from the village to where Mae, the Echo, was for a week.
During the day, he took care of his leader duties, and at dawn, he would return to the human's nest, where he would cure her, feed her, and take care of her. In those moments, they would talk, forgetting about the ape's attempt to assassinate her. Mae had opened up completely to him.
A human who had lost her family recently and was trying to survive away from the rest of humans who had hurt her. He didn't understand how they had hurt her if she didn't have that physical aspect, only the wound he had inflicted on her. But she explained that the wounds those humans had inflicted on her were not visible on her body, but in her heart.
Noa felt like seeking out those humans and defending the human to make her feel better. But she told him she was already learning to forget them.
"The wound is much better."
He didn't like how she was healing so quickly. Mae would have to leave when she was fully cured, that had been their agreement, but he wasn't ready to say goodbye so soon.
"Yes, I can do things on my own now. You should rest more at night and not come to see me."
"I don't need to rest. I want to come see you."
"Noa..."
"What?"
The ape continued making the meal, actually watching how the fire was made.
"You know I've forgiven you. You don't have to keep feeling guilty. Forgive yourself too."
"I-I can't. I failed my village. But I also failed you. If only I had shot higher, you would be dead and I wouldn't have met you."
"But you're a good ape and didn't do it. If it had happened this way or that, it wouldn't exist anymore. The reality is that we've met."

**Eighth Act**
_________________________________
That day, his mother wouldn't leave his side. She observed him closely without speaking, but that made him even more nervous.
"What? What's going on?"
He stopped in front of her.
"Son, you can lie to the whole world, but not to your mother."
"What do you mean?"
"Your nighttime escapes, the lack of sales, your fatigue during the day. Tell me, son. Where do you escape to?"
"Nowhere, mom. Just... I go climbing alone to relax and sleep."
"Yesterday, you slept very late, the sun had already risen. And you started talking in your sleep."
Noa averted his gaze so she couldn't keep reading him like that.
"Your dreams mentioned Mae's name."
"Oh, nonsense. I don't know anyone by that name."
He turned around, trying to ignore his mother's comments so as not to get more nervous.
"Son, do you sneak out at night to see Mae? Is she the Echo you didn't kill?"
"Mother! I don't know what you're talking about!"
"I've known you since you came out of me. Small, hairy, and noisy. Since you were very young, you showed that you weren't like the rest of the apes. You were very analytical and more intelligent than most. Your father knew that you took twice as long to think things through, just like your grandfather."
"Mom..."
"That's why I knew when they asked you to fulfill this responsibility that you would take your time to think it through and not do it, because you're a fair son of mine."
"Mom, I couldn't kill her. She hadn't done anything to us and lived peacefully alone by the river. She didn't pose any danger like the elders make us believe."
"I know, son. I know you very well."
His mother hugged him, and he took refuge in her arms. Taking a weight off his shoulders since he wasn't the only one who knew about Mae's existence.
And not just the two of them anymore. One of the aoes in charge of the birds had overheard their conversation, hiding from mother and son.

That morning, Noa found Mae packed and ready to leave, with her things in a backpack and the fire extinguished.
"Where are you going?"
"I have to leave now, Noa."
"What? No, why? You're still hurt. You can't leave yet."
"I'm not hurt anymore, Noa. You saved me."
"No, no, no, no."
Noa grabbed the girl's hands, trying to stop her.
"We knew this moment would come. I'm very grateful that you gave me the opportunity to meet you."
"No! It's the other way around. I tried to kill you and you forgave me, letting me into your life."
"That doesn't matter anymore, Noa."
"Yes, it does. I came here to kill you because I thought you were an animal, a monster, a beast. And I ended up realizing that the only beast here is me."
"Don't be so hard on yourself."
"I have to be. I can't forgive myself because if I do, I'll think I have a chance with you and it's not like that. I can't, n-no..."
Mae grabbed his cheeks, making him lean his forehead against hers, looking into his eyes.
"You're not a beast. You're my savior, but I have to leave so I don't cause you more problems."
Noa shook his head and leaned in to kiss the human, savoring the sweet taste of Mae's mouth.
They separated as they heard horses and apes cries.

**Tenth Act**

Noa was startled. The only apes near the river were from his village. And it couldn't be, they didn't have any nighttime exploration planned.
"What's going on?"
"I don't know."
He turned to the human, grabbing her cheeks to make her look at him.
"Don't worry, you hide. I'll go see what's happening."
Mae looked towards something behind the ape's back, and he turned to see what had caught her attention, finding his friends.
"Noa."
The two apes ran to hug him.
"You don't know what's going on in the village. Maximo told them about the Echo and they're all coming to kill her."
Anaya explained quickly, without taking a breath.
"How did you know?"
"Why didn't you tell us?"
Soona responded with another question.
"I couldn't. She was in danger."
"We're your friends! We would have helped." -Soona raised her voice.-
"It's okay, guys. We'll discuss this later. Now we have to help the Echo." -Anaya turned to Mae.
"You have to distract them while I help her escape." -Noa grabbed Mae's hand.
"No!" -Soona refused.- "You're the clan leader, you have to give them explanations after what they found out. You have to be consistent."
The ape couldn't refuse. His friend was right.
"Mae." -he turned to her, grabbing her shoulders.- "You're going with Soona and Anaya, they'll help you."
"I'm staying with you." -Soona gave him her back as he said goodbye.-
He couldn't make her change her mind, as the apes were approaching.
"Echo. It's better if you get on my back and I'll run." -Anaya offered her back to Mae, and she got on without taking her eyes off Noa.-

**Eleventh Act**

The group of apes arrived, finding Noa and Soona together. Both apes were standing side by side, bearing the gaze of the rest.
"Where is she?"
"We know, Noa. The Echo is still alive."
"We have to kill her before she attacks us."
"She's a demon."
Several apes spoke at once.
"Silence!" -Noa shouted, making them all quiet.- "She's not a demon! We're the ones who pursued her and tried to kill her without harming us."
"She'll do it, it's written."
"The elders say so."
"The elders are wrong!" -Noa shouted again.- "And the laws are wrong!"
"Noa, step aside!"
Several apes approached violently. He couldn't let his clan lose respect for their leader.
As the leader of the eagle clan and respectful of his clan's ancient tradition, he began to sing. He still hadn't joined with any bird. Due to his father's death, he had decided to wait out of respect for the previous leader. But now... it was the only solution he could think of to regain his clan's respect.
He continued singing, and no eagle came.
"It doesn't work like that!"
"What eagle would want to join you after you betrayed us?"
The apes' voices enraged him. His voice rose above theirs, and a large eagle with a strong presence landed on his arm.
When Noa looked up, he was surprised to see the eagle Sun, his father's eagle. Known as the strongestin its nest and stubborn like his father. Everyone feared and respected it.

Most of the apes kneeled before Noa, who stood proudly, looking at the eagle on his arm.
"It can't be, the eagle Sun has finally chosen its new master."
"It can't be, Noa, he's a traitor."
"Maximo, stop talking like that about the clan leader. He's already proven with actions that we should trust him."
One ape began to defend him, and most of them joined in. Noa knew he had regained his title as leader.
"We can't forgive his lie!"
That ape, Maximo, ran forward. Noa saw his intention to go after Noa and Anaya, so he stood in front of him, growling.
"You're not going to pass!" -he shouted, making Maximo take a few steps back.- "The Echo is my responsibility." -Noa began to address everyone.- "If anyone has a problem with her, they should come to me and I'll resolve it."
Maximo walked away with his head down.
The rest of the a apes roached to congratulate him on his union with Sol, and Soona stepped aside, observing him. In the end, it hadn't been necessary to help him; he was the clan leader, and she regretted having doubted it.

The next morning, Noa met with Mae again. Anaya had told him the location where she had hidden her, in the cave where the three of them used to hide as children when they wanted to escape from their parents or play pranks.
Anaya had confided in Mae about the location, knowing how important it was to her friend Noa.
The ape and the human looked at each other intensely when they met. Mae was sitting on a rock, holding a piece of fruit, and had heard him enter. She was anxious to see him.
"Noa!" -she stood up, looking him up and down.- "Didn't they hurt you?"
"No, no, Mae." -Noa put his forehead against the human's, closing his eyes and breathing in her scent more closely.- "Y-you, are you okay?"
Mae let out a laugh.
"I'm fine. You faced your clan for... for me."
"Yes, for you. But I know that's not as scary as riding on Anaya's back and climbing up here with his rough scaling."
"Anaya took good care of me, you don't have to worry."
"I know."
Neither of them wanted to break the silence that followed. They hugged, feeling each other's skin so close. Mae's breath hit Noa's lips, and he couldn't resist anymore, leaning in to kiss her again, this time knowing every centimeter of her lips and mouth as he introduced his tongue.
"Noa."
Mae whispered the ape's name, and she pulled away, placing his lips on her cheek.
"You shouldn't kiss me like that. And I won't be able to leave if we keep doing this."
"Then don't leave. There's no need, no one wants you to leave. Come with me and live in my village, with my clan."
"No! Noa, I don't want to bring you more problems."
"You're not going to bring more problems." -Noa hugged her.- "Since I met you, you've brought nothing but joy and laughter and good thoughts to my life. You've made me happy, and I don't want to lose you."
"Okay."
Noa shouted happily, hugging the girl and lifting her up.
"You make me so happy, I love you!"
Mae looked into his eyes, unable to respond since she had lost her breath.
The human leaned in, kissing him again, this time with tenderness, and pulled away after a few seconds. As if her lips had given him strength and air to speak, she responded.
"I love you too."

**Final Act**
_________________________________
Mae moved in with them. The village had welcomed her with open arms when they saw her arrive with their leader.
Noa's mother received her literally in her arms, in a strong hug.
"Welcome."
The Echo, the beast everyone had feared, had found a place in everyone's heart. She had sought her place in the village and now fulfilled her responsibilities so that no one would ever have to take care of her again.
A certain leader wasn't very happy about it, since it meant they spent less time together, but he was happy seeing how everyone had learned to love her.
There was even a moment when he felt jealous of the attention she gave to the other apes.
Mae dedicated herself to healing and feeding the smaller or injured apes, or those who were lonely. This made her spend more time with others than with him. But he couldn't say anything, he had to fulfill his clan duties too.
At least he had the hope of ending the day and finding her in his nest again.
"Noa."
Mae sighed in his ear. Noa couldn't help but lie down next to the human and kiss her from her cheek to her neck. He had seen her sleeping already, but he missed her and needed to feel her in his arms.
He placed himself on top of her, lifting her clothes and pushing them aside. It wasn't the first time they had done it, but he had understood that those garments were important to cover the human's attributes. For the apes, it was rare to see those clothes, but Noa's ego grew when only he could see her like that.
Naked, trembling from his kisses and caresses, and so sensitive that she responded to every touch he gave her.
He introduced his virility, making her moan, making them both moan. His thrusts were quick and concise. That night, he needed to feel her with urgency. The desperation in his chest to make her reach climax and hear her scream his name.
"Noa!"
That scream and the contractions of the human's vagina around his penis made him come with a grunt.
"Mae, Mae."
He leaned on her, placing his elbows on both sides of Mae to avoid hurting her, and waited for his heart to calm down after coming.
"I love you."
He heard Mae.
"I love you too."
The ape responded before falling asleep next to her.
His life had taken a huge turn since the Echo, his Echo, had entered it. From believing he was going to kill a beast, to believing he had become one, to falling in love with an Echo. She had saved him from drowning in a life full of desperation and lies. She had entered his life to make the monsters that haunted him disappear. Mae was, is, and will be the love of his life forever.

Suprise... - part 1
Words count - 1319
OC name is Via, sorry I can't force myself yet to change habits 😅 White hair are specific for a reason, but you can imagine the rest of her appearance as you like.
My first concept changed a lite since the Imagine blurb. Second part won't be fast unfortunately, sorry :( I'm still learning to write stories in English, it probably would be much longer and faster if I was writing in my native language.
_______
Mae just stormed out from the abandoned house which was currently their hideout on the planet Kiros. Nice, quiet forests, safe lakes, small cities. The door slammed behind her, making the two other remaining people flinch. White haired woman looked over at her partner with annoyance in her eyes.
“I swear, if the Master wouldn't punish me later, I would smack her head with anything heavy…” She said and the man chuckled.
“She's young and rebellious. She likes to think we are beneath her, less important. I’m used to it and just continue to do my job.
“Maybe. But I really don't like how she is treating you, Qimir. You are such an intelligent man, without you she wouldn't even know where to go or look.”
“Without us Snowflake.” Qimir pointed at her. Again with that nickname… Via tried very hard not to show how much his little nicknames messed with her heart. “Don't forget that your connection to nature in the Force is very helpful for her, me and our Master. We are both important to him.”
“I'm trying to really believe him when he praises me… But… never mind. We should get to sleep. She exhausted me…”
“He never praises without meaning it. You know how he is.” Qimir offered her a warm smile. “But yeah we should hit the pillow. I guess you're sleeping next to the wall?”
“Yes, mister radiator. Have I ever mentioned that I would freeze long ago without you?” Via laughed and got up from the floor.
“Every time we go somewhere where it's cold at night. “ Qimir playfully rolled his eyes and followed her to their shared makeshift bed.
They didn't even bother to change, always ready to run if something would happen. Via took her place and a moment after Qimir was laying beside her, his back facing her front. Always respectful. At least at the beginning… Throughout the night, he was often changing positions, sometimes ending up cuddling her. Usually when the night was really cold. Via didn't know if it was for his own need of heat or somehow he sensed her shiver. Her home planet was hot and humid which was the reason why she was even less resistant to low temperatures.
It was such a good thing their Master knew or probably sensed through the Force her struggles, and he always gave her additional covers when she was sleeping on his island while training. Who knew he actually had at least a string of compassion in him.
Qimir on the other hand was just sweet and caring, but he couldn't know what those little hugs were doing to her. She was hiding her feelings for so long… Despite his somewhat unkempt appearance, he was a handsome man. His smile brightens up any blue day and her heart skipped a beat every time. His little playful head tilts accompanied with his signature single brow raise without a fail made her laugh every time. He liked to watch her braid her hair into a crown-like style around her head, sometimes helping if her hands were too stiff from the cold. She welcomed his closeness every time, trying so hard not to show her excitement. If he was hinting to her he was in fact interested in her, she was oblivious. Her mind was somewhat clouded with fear. Fear of being rejected or scolded by their Master for creating a relationship among his subjects.
This night was a nightmare. It was getting colder and colder, wind bringing unpleasant waves and Via was not able to fall asleep. She tried very hard to resist and not do something stupid, but her resolve was weakening every passing minute.
“Get your shit together Via… He won’t be mad…” and with that thought she turned, now facing Qimir. He was currently laying on his back, one hand under his head making a perfect opening for her to snuggle closer. So she did. Her heart beating wildly in her chest as the only option was to lay her head on his arm. The moment she does that he stirred awake.
“Hey, what is… oh Maker you are freezing! Come here, poor thing.” Qimir pulled her close, maneuvering her so her head was on his warm chest, her whole body pressed with his. His next move made her heart race as he grabbed the back of her thigh and placed her leg between his. His hands held her tightly, rubbing along her back to warm her up faster.
“I’m s…sorry…”
“Don’t be. It’s okay, I got you Sweetheart.” Qimir kissed her forehead, making her blush and she was hardly able to hold in a gasp. His heat engulfed her, making her slightly relax and finally feel drowsiness.
What she couldn't see was Qimirs signature satisfied half smirk…
_______
“You did good on the last mission, both of you.” The Master spoke, tilting his helmet clad head a little. “Via, go prepare for training, I will discuss Maes new mission. This time you will go alone. Qimir won't accompany you either. This time you will handle things by yourself.”
Via bowed her head and turned to go back to the ship. She couldn't help but smile mischievously, happy that Mae would finally experience doing something without their help. She entered the ship and quickly changed as well as gathered her things knowing she will probably stay here for quite some time. When she was going down the ramp, she saw that Master was nowhere to be seen, but she spotted a very angry looking Mae heading her way.
“What did you two tell him huh?” she stopped less than an arm length before Via.
“What do you mean? I haven’t spoken with the Master until we arrived here.”
“Don't lie to me! Why is he sending me off alone this time then?”
Something snapped inside Via and she venomously responded.
“Suddenly afraid you are not up to the task on your own, Mae?
“Listen here you little shit. You are useless. Week in the Force. Master is taking pity or keeping you for Qimir to fuck when he is bored. I don’t need you.” With that she passed her hitting Via's shoulder angrily with hers. Via held her ground, guarding her thoughts tightly as she walked away from the ship. Mae quickly fired up the ship and started to take off. Only when Via was sure Mae was at a safe distance, her composure dropped. Her knees gave up and she fell on the soft sand. Her eyes watered as her body shook in a silent cry.
Mae was right, she was useless and weak. She never believed in herself even if the Master and Qimir were telling her they needed her and she was wanted.
Suddenly warm strong arms engulfed her body. She was so deep in her head she didn’t even feel her Master's appearance. He pulled her into his lap, cradling her head to the crook of his neck, rubbing lightly her hair and back. She felt even more bad about herself. She tried to pull away in a desperate attempt to save her dignity but he held her firmly in place.
“I am here for you, my Angel. Cry. Let it all out.”
“I…I’m… use…useless M…Master…” Via cried out.
“No. It is a lie you accepted. You know me well enough to know I wouldn't be here right now with you if I shared her opinion.” His voice was gentle, he only ever had that tone with her. After a deep consideration of his words Via slowly nodded against his neck. His embrace felt somehow familiar, the heat of his body, his smell. She felt safe.
“Thank you, Master.” She managed to say clearly and she dared to put her arms around him as well. She couldn't tell how long he held her in his arms, but his hold never lessened.

Volunteer Work
For a moment you had thought of going back home. The cold breeze during such a dead night had kept you on your toes, looking over your shoulder- looking for something. The walk to the Hewitts was just as dead as the night, nothing but old roads guiding you to their dilapidated mansion- you should've told your folks no, having been offered up as some kind of half-hearted help, as they couldn't find it in them themselves.
It all started when you and your mother stopped by an old gas station near your home, and she handed you a few crumbled dollars and told you to give it to Miss Luda-Mae at the counter. "Just take whatever she'll give you, we need to get home soon." She spoke to you, waving you away and out of the passengers seat. You stumbled out of the car, shutting the door behind you with an attitude your mother would ignore. With that you walked yourself over the dirt pathway, lifting your sundress slightly and ignoring the lingering looks from a gang of bikers. Then when you opened the door, it should've rang, but it seemed the bell had broke between now and the last time you had been here.
You released a sigh of disappointment when at least three of those bikers had been in line already, Luda-Mae arguing with one of them about the price of gas- although this had to be the only gas station in town, so there were no ongoing rates. The two of them ran about for a bit, before the man gave up and the line moved after what felt like five minutes. As expected, the door opened once more for your mother, a scowl on her face as it seemed you took too long. She walked over to you, as soon as it was your turn to talk to Miss Hewitt, and she huffed at you with an annoyed glance.
"Hi Miss Luda, how are you doing today?" You smiled, flattening out a five dollar bill against the ridge of the counter as you conversed. "Busy day, these bikers were raised with no respect. Makes 'em harder to deal with- insults to their mamas." She responds, looking over her glasses at you. "I completely understand, this one here always has something to say. This- that- my momma woulda' hit me." Your mother interjects, snatching the money out of your hands to give to Luda. "We ain't got much, just seven dollars on... One? Yeah, One." Luda nodded. "Thomas is like that now, he's getting older and-" her voice lowers, "All them ruts alone are getting to him." Your mom shakes her head in understanding, her eyes shifting to you and you laugh- pushing her away. "Actually, Y/N, if you're interested, he just built this little dresser for his room- and he's talkin' about painting it but he ain't patient enough to paint the darn thing. I think he would appreciate if you helped him out some time soon." She continues, looking over to your mother. "Of course she can! She'll be over tonight, ain't got nothing else to do."
And that's why you're walking over to the Hewitts after dark, speed-walking down the side of the road. After a while you reached their home and familiar smells welcomed you. Luda-Mae always smelled of cigarettes, She was a respectable beta woman, living with a shifty beta man. You'd only met Charlie a few times, he'd wink at you then and there, he smelt of rotting wood. There was something off about that man. Then there was-
"Thomas! I didn't see you there," You yelped, stumbling back a few steps as he emerged from behind a tree, axe in his hand, previously doing lawn work- probably. His eyes moved down your body, admiring your sundress, only to nod at you. "Your mother said you needed some help painting your dresser?" He nodded again, dropping the axe at his side and beginning to walk towards his house. When he makes it up the stairs and you don't follow, he turns to you and gestures up to the door- as if to say "let's go."
You follow him through his house and into his room, the white paint and brushes on the floor catching your attention. He looks almost ashamed of the outcome, strokes of paint coming from every direction and some of them hitting the wall- you release a breathy laugh. "I can fix it, don't worry." You tell him, but he still looks disappointed. "I wish I could build like you, must be a good quality- yknow- for the omegas 'round here." He shakes his head no immediately, watching as you sink to your knees and begin to brush the paint against the rough wood. "C'mon, last week I saw you talkin' to one of those bikers that are always hangin' out with Luda. She had those bright eyes and enthusiastic too- that's all an alpha could want." He shakes his head no again, this time seemingly annoyed and you drop the subject.
For a moment you two sit in peace, and even though the paint is strong his scent seeps into your skin, leaving you practically dizzy. You realize you shouldn't have done this in his room of all places as the heat builds and starts to soak your underwear. He practically tastes it too, and he rests his head back against the wall, hands balled into fists. "You like it?" You ask, setting the paintbrush down on the floor. His head snaps up, eyes wide until he realizes you're talking about the dresser and he nods. "Im only half done, but I'm tired, I'll finish it for you tomorrow?" And he agrees, walking over to help you off the floor.
When he grabs you, your head spins and you inhale more of his thick smell unintentionally. It makes you whimper in the heat of the moment and his eyes narrow at you. "Sorry- my knees are hurting." You stutter, pushing your hair away from your face. "Can you bring that outside? It's getting kinda congested in here." He nods again, and you're not sure he's even listening to you as you begin to say your goodbyes.
"I gotta get going but maybe I'll be back to finish this tomorrow?" And he nods once more, his arms opening a bit to invite you into a hug- one that you took eagerly. Thomas' arms immediately wrapped around you, pulling you against his chest, keeping your face pressed against his scent gland. And he held you there. Your self control was not apparent today, legs squeezing and rubbing together immediately. He stumbled forwards, trapping you against the wall and adjusting his arms around your waist so he could place a kiss against your bare shoulder. You buried your face further into his neck, a low whine on your tongue as you began to lick at the thin skin on his throat. "Alpha?" You purred. His fingers twitched against your back in a display of unwanted self control, one that had your omega whining once more.
His throat rumbled, he was pleased at your reactions- a heat spreading through you that he smelled and wanted. Thomas lifted you up, his strong arms carrying you over to his bed, just to lay you down in his heap of pillows. His sheets smelled of him- sweat, caramel and power, it make you keen. As you basked in his scent, he made his way with your clothes. Yanking down your sundress, he gifted unspoken praises to your body as he noted the lack of a bra. His hands made quick work of you, calloused hands rubbing against the soft, thinner skin of your nipples with an admiration your last lovers hadn't given you.
His scent had gotten stronger by the minute, seeping into your body and melting your brain into a puddle of mush. You couldn't help yourself but to pull the edge of your sundress up, exposing yourself to his greedy eyes. His grunts of approval music to your ears, even moreso when you pulled his unoccupied hand to your drooling pussy. He held a sharp breath within, dipping a finger into the heated hole he'd soon bury his knot inside. His left hand moved from your nipples to your throat, holding you down as his right began to thrust in and out of you, thumb rolling over your throbbing clit. "T-Thomas!" You moaned, wrapping your smaller hands around his forearm, leaving it covered in thin scratches- none deep enough to scar. His fingering began quicker, pulling you to a high end before you wanted- but your begging for his knot convinced him not. "Alpha! Please god!" Grinding against his hand, that would eventually have your end. With a loud whine, you came on his fingers, and he retracted. His mouth immediately moved to his belt, undoing the clasps and pulling his cock out and pulling your recovering body to the edge of his bed.
Pressing a kiss to your sweating forehead, he entered you fully. And soon he began to thrust inside of you, your walls singing happily, head craned to the side presenting an unmarked throat to him. Which he'd take your offer, listening to you worship his title as his canines punctured the vent of your skin, mark fresh and bleeding. Your arms wrapped around Thomas' chest as his thrusting sped up and you heard whispers of "Omega," under his breath as he filled you with his seed as you finished underneath him. He began to slow, but didn't stop there until you released a sleepy whine into his chest, eyes closing with a rumbling purr.

¡disclaimer! this is in no way making assumptions about the people involved in this story, this is all fake. it is a fanfiction please don't take any of what is said seriously. this is all for entertainment purposes and as a creative outlet for me. enjoy!

Strangers No More
Fandom: Star Wars - The Acolyte
Pairing: Qimir x GN!Reader
Summary: Weeks after your first encounter, the strange man comes back to your shop looking to purchase something else. This time, he doesn't come alone.
The Stranger in My Doorway
Tumblr media
The strange man had left an impression on you that seemed to effect you every day. As each day passed since your first meeting, you were hoping he'd stop by again. He intrigued you and you wanted to know more about him. The days turned into weeks and you eventually stopped looking forward to seeing the man again.
Then appeared in your doorway again right before closing.
"I was wondering when you'd show up again," you say leaning forward onto your counter, "I take it the poison worked?"
"It did, but I'm here for something else," he says as he starts perusing through one of your shelves.
"A stronger poison?"
"A sedative," he responds lowly, picking up a bottle and reading its contents.
You tilt your head in curiosity, "You want to put someone to sleep?"
He places the bottle back and fully turns to you, "A colleague of mine hasn't been sleeping well. They've been having nightmares. In our line of work, it's not safe to go without proper rest. Can make us reckless and unaware."
You nod, "Understood. Well, I have benzodi. Somatoll if they need something stronger. Also have renatyl but I usually reserve that for the bounty hunters."
The man looks at you curiously, "And how do you know I'm not a bounty hunter?"
You shrug, "You didn't give me that impression."
He licks his lips and smirks, slowly approaching you like he did when you first met, "And what impression do I give off?"
You front door suddenly opens and you take a step back from the man. In walks a young woman with a purple hood on and braids cascading down her chest. She looks at you for a moment. Her stare is hard and cautious. Then her focus goes to the man, "Qimir, what's going on?"
The man sighs, "Why did you follow me?"
"You were being suspicious," the young woman stalks towards the man, whose name you now know is Qimir. She eyes him and then looks at you, "You're the one who gave him the poisons?"
You don't answer, looking between her and the man. The man sighs again, "This is Mae, my colleague. Your poison helped her on a mission."
"Why are you here again?" Mae asks Qimir.
"You're having trouble sleeping. Master wouldn't like it that your head and body weren't fully rested."
"I'm fine," she sneers.
"How about hypnocane? It can help ease your mind and stop those nightmares you've been dealing with." You move around the counter and head to some shelves on the right side. You pluck two bottles from the shelf. You scurry back behind the counter and place the bottles in front of you. I have it as pills or in liquid form."
Mae swipes up the pills looking at the contents written on the bottle. Without another word, she pockets them and heads for the door.
"You're welcome?" you say as she walks out.
Qimir pulls out his money pouch, "I apologize for her. She can be...stubborn." He sets five hundred spira onto the counter, "For the trouble."
You take one and push the rest towards him, "It's only worth a hundred spira."
He pushes the money back towards you with a smirk, "Then take the rest as compensation for Mae's behavior."
You can't help but snort, "With the amount of Batuuan spira you seem to have, maybe you are a bounty hunter after all." You collect the chips and pocket them, "Pleasure doing business with you again, Qimir."
His lips twitch up, as if wanting to smile. He nods, "And you, Y/N," he says before turning around and exiting the shop to follow his colleague.
You stand alone now in your shop. Your fingers playing with a spira chip and then you realize...you never told Qimir your name. So how does he know it? Did he ask Batuuans about you? The thought of him asking about you made your stomach do a tiny flip.
There's something about Qimir that just draws you to him. He's piqued your interest and you don't know why. Like before, you hope to see him again. Hopefully, sooner than later.

Slashers reacting to reader succumbing to Stockholm syndrome part two
So part one got a lot of notes and I wanted to write a part two, I'm also in a bit of a vampire hyperfixation thanks to Near dark so I'm including The Lost boys even though they wouldn't always kidnap their future s/o. This is again inspired by the lovely @slasherhaven, who's back from a long break. Anyway part one is here
Includes: Thomas Hewitt, Vincent Sinclair, Otis Driftwood and Jason Voorhees
Warnings: Stockholm syndrome, murder, slight gore descriptions in Otis's bit, reader is really far gone, manipulation kind of, kidnapping
Thomas Hewitt
Thomas went out early while you stayed in the house with Luda Mae. For the first few weeks of staying here all you did was cry and yell. But now months into living here you're more docile, quiet and afraid but docile enough. When Thomas returns to the house for lunch you're setting out plates on the table for everyone, with Monty watching over you. When you see Thomas you smile and finish setting down the plates and forks.
"Good to see you Thomas. I'm glad to see you're back in time for lunch. I helped make it today," You walk over to the door and stand before Thomas, he looks down at you confused. You rarely spoke to anyone in the house before this, and when you did it was a simple yes or no, "I'll be right back." You stand on your toes and press a kiss to his cheek before leaving the dining room.
Thomas takes a seat and looks over to Monty for any kind of clue as to what's going on, but he can't give him any answers.
Later that night you're getting ready for bed with Thomas. He's still confused about earlier and why you're so nice all of the sudden.
"Thomas," You say turning over to him. He just looks down at you and nods, "I wanted to thank you for taking care of me. I'm glad you chose to do this for me." All he can think to do is nod. He doesn't know what's going on with you, but he's not going to tell you to stop anytime soon.
Vincent Sinclair
When Vincent first wakes up he finds it odd that your arms are wrapped around him. In the two months you've been here you've never wanted any physical contact with him unless he forced it. Lately you've been more calm in a sense. The screaming and pleading to be let free awhile ago, but when he had to tie you to something in the basement to keep you from running you stopped trying to break the restraints two weeks ago.
He slowly shifts and you start to wake up. A smile spreads on your face while you stretch.
"Good morning Vincent," You say somewhat cheery compared to your past moods, "Did you sleep well?" He nods while looking into your eyes, trying to see if you're going to crack your act. But your smile stays and you push hair out of his face, "I'm glad. Is it ok if I walk upstairs with you today? I promise I'm not going to leave." Now he's really confused. Why are you so loving all of a sudden. He's never kept a victim around this long so he doesn't know if it's something common. He shakes his head and stands up out of bed.
He leaves the basement and locks the door behind him. Listening for a few minutes he doesn't hear you screaming or trying to break anything. When he leaves and returns 20 minutes later you're still in bed, sitting up now and studying a small wax figure.
"Welcome back Vincent." He just looks at you before setting down his food and coffee. He's going to have to talk to Bo about this. But if you're being genuine with your feelings then he's going to keep you around longer than he thought.
Otis Driftwood
He quickly picked up on the change in your mood. Although it was slow going and took some time, he saw what was happening and knew this was going to be fun, he's just been waiting for you to prove how deeply 'in love' with him you are.
He's busy working on cutting up a body, having sent you off to do something with Baby while he works when you walk back into his 'studio'. When he notices you, you don't look upset at all, despite a dead body laying dismembered mere feet away from you.
"Baby told me to come back here. I hope you don't mind," You say stepping back into the room and shutting the door. By now he's turned to you, you can see he's covered in blood and guts but you're so unfazed you walk right up to him and straight into a hug, catching him off guard and making him almost shove you off of him. Until you say, "I hope you don't mind me doing this," , blood undoubtedly soaking into your clothes, "I just needed a hug."
This is the tipping point for him. You seeing him actively working on a body he killed and still wanting his affection is enough to tell him that you're fully head over heels 'in love'. He smiles to himself and wraps his arms around you.
"Not at all sugar. Not at all."
Jason Voohees
Jason saw your slow change over time but didn't really see a need to ask you about it. You're becoming more accepting of the fact you're living with him now and you can't leave. Even with these new changes in attitude and you doing what he ask of you, you were still uncomfortable with physical contact.
That was until tonight. It's thundering hard outside as it pours. You've always been scared of severe weather and when you found Jason sitting on his couch you ran into his arms and onto his lap, slightly shaking. Catching him off guard he raises his arms as he looks down at you, looking back up at him with big watery eyes.
"I'm sorry Jason. I just really hate thunder storms. I can get up if you want me to." You begin to stand up when he pulls you back down against him, holding you in his arms now. If he was unsure about you 'loving' him before he knows now that you're truly dependent on him. And some part of his brain likes that. He likes the feeling of knowing you see him as your protector.
He wraps his arms around you tighter and begins to stroke your hair. Things are going to be made so much easier now that you're accepting of his affection.

House parties were never really your "scene".
The chaos and uncertaintiy of whose house you're even in, the smell of colognes and perfumes and sweat, the alcohol being mixed together in plastic cups that are discarded on the floor later that smell like Disneyland if it wasn't cleaned in a month-. Every part of a house party sounds awful. So, why are you standing in one now?
Well, your friend Lauren would be the reason why. Work had been a bitch for her recently - her words not yours - and you had gone through a breakup recently, prompting her to suggest a girl's night out. How you ended up at a house party from the crappy bar she dragged you to in downtown Chicago was beyond you.
"C'mon! This is totally gonna distract you from Lippy and all the drama he brought. To being single!" Lauren drunkingly cheers as she holds up her plastic cup of (you're sure) three different kinds of alcohol. You hold up your glass of water barely, running a hand over your face. "Yeah, can we not announce that?" You ask.
Two seconds later, she's giggling with a guy leading her up the stairs. You sigh, turning to go get some fresh air when there he stands. Lip Gallagher. Your freshly appointed ex-boyfriend. Or Lippy, as Lauren refers to him.
You and Lip had dated for two years, but you'd known him since you were kids. Your relationship was perfect, until one night. When he called you clingy, a bitch - this was of course after not talking to you for almost a whole week. You told him that night you were done with him. That he could call when he figured himself out.
He didn't call. It'd been a month.
It doesn't feel real that time has passed that quickly, because part of you is still stuck in his bedroom. Right where he left you. A lesson well learned.
"Hi." He says, as he stares at you. You stare right back.
"Hi." You manage to get out, clearing your throat. "I have to go-"
"Wait. Can we talk, please?" He asks, walking over to you, a hand on your arm as he whispers to you. The world stops for a pause before you nod. "Fine." You agree.
You let him lead you upstairs into an empty room, taking it in. It looks to be a guest bedroom, few decorations other then picture frames with the "welcome to our home" and flower vases on the nightstands.
"Welcome to my hell" would be a better fit.
"Why are we avoiding each other like this? You've been my best friend since I was fucking ten years old, I don't want us to lose each other like this." He says as you sit on the edge of the bed, taking note of the floral bedspread. "We already lost each other, Lip. A long time ago." You point out.
"Don't do this shit, don't be all cryptic." He rolls his eyes as you stand right back up, almost giving yourself whiplash. But that's disregarded when every memory floods back to you.
"Oh my God! What the hell do you want from me, Lip, huh? You want me to just forget every single thing you said to me? Or maybe you want me to just forget how you avoided me like the damn plague for a week before you finally did call me just to blow up at me and tell me you didn't want to be with me anymore. You can't go from telling me I was your favorite person to telling me you think I'm a bitch. And I can’t even look at my favorite person anymore, so what the fuck do you expect me to do?" You burst out, turning away from him, staring out the window.
It's silent for what feels like an eternity before you feel his arms wrap around your waist from behind. "I don't want to lose you. I- I haven't been me since you left. Please." He isn't sure what he's even begging for from you, but his voice is soft enough where you feel yourself wanting to give in.
This was a bad idea, right? After all, he was your ex. But you're both mature adults, can't two people reconnect? You'd only see him as a friend this time, it wasn't like he had to be something more.
You sigh as you push his arms off, walking for the door, waiting for a moment before locking it. You turn back around to face him, walking over to him and barely grazing his lips with your own to tease him before he kisses you. His hands find themselves on your waist like how he used to put them there when he kissed you like this.
Used. It still doesn't feel real to use parts of your relationship in the past tense. How you used to kiss him, how he used to hold you, how he used to be yours.
You kick your shoes off, and he does the same.
He pushes you back onto the bed, deepening the kiss. His tongue slides into your mouth easily, one hand on your back, the other sliding up your thigh. He knows your body so well, it's almost a science to him. He knows how your body reacts to certain touches. Certain places to kiss to make you giggle. Parts of your body that if he touches them, your back arches or you naturally move closer to them.
Like right now. His hand teasing around your sex, not quite touching where you so desperately want him.
His mouth only parts from yours to begin kissing down your jaw, then onto your neck. Finding solace there, he makes a mark on your pulse point, low moans erupting from you. Hands running through disheveled curls.
His hand finally reaches your cunt, and you hear him groan at the wetness growing on your panties. He looks at you for confirmation, and you nod desperately in return, not sure what he’s planning in that genius brain of his.
He removes your shirt so he can kiss your chest. Then your bottoms, leaving you in only your bra and panties. A finger slides those panties to the side, and he lets out another groan as he slides the digit past your slick folds, and you let out a gasp in return. You give a little tug to his hair and he almost moans at it, which you make a mental note of.
He thrusts his finger out, at a torturously slow pace, all while kissing down your body. You quickly realize when he grins up at you what he wants to do. What he feels he needs to do. You give him a nod of your approval, moans still flooding out.
He stops thrusting and removes his finger, only to replace it with his tongue. Sucking and kissing your clit, sliding his tongue in you while his hands run over skin on your thighs. You bite on your hand just to muffle your moans from the still active party outside, just as his nose bumps your clit.
“Shit, Lip. I'm close- fuck..” You whine as he laps desperately at your sex, and you can feel his smirk. "Language. Let go for me, baby, please." He requests softly, rubbing tiny circles on your clit.
You don't last long after that.
He lets your climax drip down your thighs, grinning to himself as he watches, feeling some of it on his jaw. "Need to feel you, please, Lip." You beg, and he frees himself from his boxers. Giving himself a few strokes before he lines himself up with his enterance. "You ready, sweet angel?" He asks, pressing his forehead against yours and lightly trailing slobbery kisses down your cheek before connecting to your lips. You pull away only after a second, whispering a soft "yes, please" before you're kissing his jaw in anticipation.
He groans, inserting himself past your now damp folds, thrusting gently in and out. He watches as his dick is swallowed by your cunt, your walls fluttering around him like it’s a familiar friend coming back.
Truth be told, he wasn’t sure why he pushed you away. Maybe he let the negative thoughts that you were too good for him take over. Maybe it was just the Gallagher thing to do.
But he’d regret it for the rest of his life.
Your moan brings him back to reality, hands on his shoulders as he finds a new position to fuck deeper into you, and he finds himself groaning as your nails dig into his skin. You quickly learn by the way his dick twitches he enjoys that.
And he learns by the way your walls squeeze around him you like it when he hits that spot in you. The spot that makes your head feel blurry, the spot that replaces every thought with his name. The spot that makes moans come out of you, the spot that makes the familiar heat in your belly grow.
“Fuck, Lip, I’m gonna-” Your words are cut off when he hits that spot again, even with a new angle. His forehead pressed against yours, sweat connecting with sweat. “Shit angel, you were just made for me. Pretty pussy just missed me, huh?” His words slur from the pleasure clouding his senses.
Your moans and mixtures of his name are more of an answer for him. The room smelled like sex, sound of skin slapping against skin filled it. He pressed his lips against yours, swallowing your moans as he rubbed small circles on your aching clit, and he feels the familiar white heat pouring out of your cunt.
He doesn’t last long, burying his seed deep in you. Swallowing your whines and moans as he pulls out, only breaking the kiss to stare at you, both of your chests heaving as you catch your breath. Watch your eyes having a silent conversation with his.
He lays down beside you. He watches as you run a hand over your face, and he decides to wash you both up. Returning with a damp washcloth, he helps get you cleaned up and setting your clothes on the end of the bed.
“So, uhm..” He tries to think of a conversation starter, and you shake your head, holding a hand up. “We shouldn’t have done this.” You whisper, frowning as you grab your clothes, slowly redressing yourself.
“You don’t have to go. We can go back to your place or mine and we can just talk.” You don’t realize he’s begging rather than requesting. This can’t be how you and him say goodbye after seeing each other again for the first time.
"I can't do this, Lip." You point out as you fight to get your shoes on.
You’d only see him as a friend.. biggest lie you ever said.
"I love you." He says. "I was an idiot for not saying it before so I'm saying it now. I'm in love with you and I always will be."
Definetly a lie now.
