Atsushi: whispers Is...Is he gonna be okay?

Akutagawa: whispers back Give him a moment.

Dazai: I need a moment! I'm an adult. I'm a Port Mafia executive. I can handle this. I'm okay. He slowly looks back at Akutugawa and Atsushi

Dazai: Ryuu no!

Atsushi: Hey erm can you keep it down you're gonna wake up Gin.

Dazai: I'm not ready to talk to you yet, young man!

Akutagawa: face palms

Ada and Chuuya dynamics present in my swapped skk fic

Ranpo and Chuuya are more or less friendemies.

Chuuya at Ranpo 95% of the time. "What's that little twerp up to now"

Ranpo at Chuuya 95% of the time "I know what you are"

Chuuya and Kunikida are partners, they go drinking together

They are friends, they do a lot together

Chuuya definitely bullies (as a friend) Kunikida for dying his hair blonde

Yosano and Chuuya are besties

Yosano at Chuuya "stop being an asshole" Chuuya "You first"

They're exes, it's not super important, probably won't even be said, I just need it to be known

Chuuya helps tutor the kids, he's very good at it

Kenji and him are probably the closest, Tanizaki being lowkey scared of him and Naomi being fairly neutral to him

Chuuya wears reading glasses, he still teases Kunikida about his glasses

Chuuya has got money. Alot. He's still very much working in black market trading. He's very good at it

Chuuya is kinda like that cousin who's done illegal shit and now makes sure you stay out of trouble, to Atsushi

He doesn't helicopter. But he will show up and bail him out of trouble, while chewing him out

He helps Kunikida teach the kids how to fight. As a result Kenji has a much better control of his strength and skill, and Tanizaki is three times as dangerous as canon Tanizaki.

Fukuzawa caved and started teaching Chuuya swordplay. He's got a little over a year of training.

Chuuya is constantly buying the Ada stuff.

Some notes on my au🥺

Today, I offer you two of my biggest obsessions slowly merging together: BSD Demon Slayer AU

This is basically the adventures of Atsushi as Tanjiro, except his own is very different and moon themed instead of sun themed (so might be related to demons in more than one way as well). Kyouka is -not her sister despite me putting her in Nezuko's role- a demon girl he (Atsushi) passed upon. This strange girl seems to struggle against her demon nature, thinking she killed her own family. But did she really? In front of a completely demolished house, Atsushi finds this story very strange, so he decides to look more into it, thus protecting Kyouka from other slayers. He himself is probably an orphan, rescued then trained by some slayer (probably not Dazai though) when he was very little, so little in fact he surely doesn't even remember seeing his gamily be killed by a certain demon. Who might be this demon? Who knows... I wonder if he roars beneath moonlight...?

Soukoku and suegiku (yes those two are dressed as Shinobu and Giyu, nobody will take my Tecchou=Giyu off of me) are there as well, not doing much for now but still having to deal with their exhausting partners.

Been thinking about a swap sskk au, but they were once in the mafia together, Akutagawa just managed to follow Dazai when he dipped.

Also, Akutagawa was one of the few people who knew Atushi was a person with a tiger ability, rather than a tiger created by someone's ability. So him and Dazai leaving made Atushi hang onto Chuuya like a lost puppy even more than he already did before (Chuuya's his mentor)

Would y'all like me to write a BSD highschool AU? Ideas i'm thinking of using include

ooc mori who takes okay care of dazai and is just overall really stressed and tired with being a surgeon

chuuya immediately thinking of dazai as an asshole because dazai is wearing a turtleneck under a hoodie from late August to the beginning of the school year, as well as having a blond 'sister' (in chuuya's mind, people with blond siblings are no good)

Dazai is obsessed with sonic and may or may not force his friends to make what is technically the snapcube fandubs

Ranpo gathers information for both the school paper and the forensics club

Poe edits the school paper and plays(loses) against Ranpo at clue on fridays

Atsushi has a striped ragdoll cat that follows him around

Ability structure/ anatomy:

-Abilities are made of energy. Both in Earth's dimension and in their own, the only difference being that their own dimension is adapted to their construction. That is to say, their state of existence is handled differently in each dimension.

On Earth:

-Abilities display their physical forms using Earth's atmosphere, light and gravity. They automatically adapt their own sense of gravity to the space they exist in, as they are not entirely physical on Earth.

They are physical enough for humans to come in direct contact with but not enough to be damaged.

As their forms on Earth are seen as variables, they have control over dematerializing and rematerializing at will from their human host.

Control and regulate the speed of their descent from a high jump. Which they can preform through temporary detachment from our gravity, as it does not bind their form energy.

-Abilities are bioluminescent. The level of energy / power coursing through them radiates to the exterior through glowing limb extremities most of the time.

Abilities can be damaged on Earth. Though only the physical form. As soon as the physical form sustains too much damage, the ability retreats to its current host and is on stand by from anywhere between hours and up to a month and more as they take the time to regenerate. Seeing as their physical form represents the extra energy the host body couldn't comprehend, the energy doesn't return inside the body, but it compacts itself and materializes into a small gem. (Much like we've seen in Dead Apple but they won't all be red).

BSD BAND AU DESIGNS

GASP, ANOTHER DRAWING? I don't know either I just wanted to sketch the design ideas I had for atsushi and akutagawa, and some alt makeup looks yknow

Anyways I've been doing some thinking about this au and heres some headcanons

AKUTAGAWA

-as stated in the drawing he's under the port mafia label

-I imagine one of his first albums is named "Black-Fanged Hellhound" or smt like his nickname

-lyrics are quite poetic, I think he got into writing songs before he grew to love preforming and playing an instrument

-became a musician to lift his sister and him out of poverty

-I imagine his music sounds a little like "Au revoir" from Malice Mizer, classic instruments n shit yknow?

-his guitar also sorta looks like a violin but like

OKAY I DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT MUSIC OR INSTRUMENTS SO LIKE- I DUNNO MAN

-Dazai made him fall in love with preforming and so he's been having a real hard time creating after dazai broke his contract, though maybe someone else can help him regain his passion for music..

ATSUSHI

-in a band with Kyouka, Kenji, and Junichiro, and yes he (together with Jun) are the big brother figures taking care of their very weird little siblings

-also he's a lot closer with Junichiro, they're besties ur honour

-was discovered by dazai in a shady bar. Atsushi had been creating music to escape his life in the orphanage, using his schools instruments. When he turned 18 he recorded a few of the songs he'd written, hoping to find an agency that'd want to hear them. He certainly didn't except underground superstar Dazai to steal his cds and DEMAND he join thr ADA label

-still very new to working with  electric guitar, since he's used to thr acoustic one at his school, but very excited to be trying something new

-his sound is more pop punk inspired and his outfit definitely takes some inspo from scene n stuff

Anyways that's all for now, I'm glad so many people enjoyed the first drawing of this au, and if anyone wants to see any other characters I'd love to sketch up some designs hehe

Hear me out: Mafia Au

Bsd music venue (band) au inspired by the rock concert I just went to

The Port Mafia all work at a venue that mainly hosts rock and similar concerts

The ada is a band that frequently plays there

Tachihara is the sound/tech guy totally jamming out to the music with the crowd, he wanted the job as a way to go to concerts for free (but he still does his job well)

Gin does sound and tech too, they get along well. Gin is especially good bc they know sign language and teach others so they dont have to try to shout

Akutagawa is the weird kid working the merch table, no one really gets along with him but he gets the job done well. He has a bizzare way of organizing and doing things that irritates anyone else but he claims its faster

Mori technically owns the place but is never actually there, Kouyou runs it with help from Chuuya and Verlaine (all three are step siblings via Mori so it's kinda family run)

Chuuya runs the bar as well

Verlaine is never seen, he remotely does finances and boring stuff

Kouyou is the main manager/ highest besides Mori. She does booking and other stuff

Dazai used to work there but quit to join the ada band, now he comes to concerts just to bother chuuya at the bar

Hirotsu does hiring and training, hes been working there the longest, since before it was sold to Mori. Everyone knows him and likes him

Higuchi is head of security and manages security people as well as supervises and creates the id checking and security process to enter the venue

Whenever the ada plays there Atsushi sneaks off to make out with Akutagawa at the merch table

DazaI also sneaks away to be a bother, usually to Chuuya

Kunikida is the manager that travels with the ada, Fukuzawa doesn't travel

Kunikida and Kouyou in particular get along very well with how often they work together and their similar way of doing things

The band is made up of Dazai, Atsushi, Junichiro, Kyoka, Kenji, Ranpo, and Yosano

Fukuzawa, Kunikida, Naomi, and Haruno are all behind the scenes staff
