if i may... late night bike rides with lighter 🫶
whether you know how to ride a bike or not, most of the late night bike rides are on his bike. he makes sure that everyone is asleep before heading out with you. this way, he could have your arms wrapped around his waist as he drives out of blazewood. the road is pretty smooth for the most part so he takes this as a chance to sneak his hand onto yours, as if to fix your hand placement. in reality, it’s his way of knowing that you’re there, holding onto him.
it gets colder during the night in the outer ring. no blazing sun, the skies are clear, the iridescent edges of multiple hollows. he knows the perfect spot to stop at that had the best views. he clumsily removes his gloves off before putting a hand out for you to hold as you got off the bike. he has all these sharp parts on his gloves and he does not want you getting poked by it.
the stars twinkled across the night sky, it was breathtaking. with the outer ring depending on oil rigs, carbon emissions were high and yet it seemed like this was the only area untouched by it. your eyes may have been on the stars but his eyes were on you. you’d tell him to take his shades off because what’s the point of wearing them at night but he doesn’t want you to see how smitten he is.
it started off with just sitting on the ground. then it progressed to laying down side by side while talking. after a while, he’d notice your change in speech. how you’re talking slower and quieter. that was when he knew that you were getting a little tired. so as usual, he makes sure you’ve got something comfy under your head.
using his arm, he’d guide you to place your head on it. he’s definitely going insane at this moment but you were too busy trying to fight off your sleepiness to even notice his flushed face. you were practically talking nonsense now at this point and then a sudden silence mid sentence.
he doesn’t dare wake you up, instead choosing to watch you sleep. the way your chest goes up and down with every breath, your body unconsciously moving closer to his, searching for some sort of warmth. with his scarf, he’s slowly wrapping it around your neck instead. it’s not that big but it’s enough for the time being. the sound of your breathing and the sounds of wind in the outer ring, he finds it serene enough to rest his eyes, falling asleep right next to you.
you’re woken up by the soft light of the sunrise, eyelids fluttering open. you don’t see lighter next to you but his scarf is still wrapped around you. his voice calls out to you, casually leaning against his bike. he’s facing the sunrise but his eyes are on you. he wouldn’t mind doing this again, as long as it means he gets to spend time like this with you.

I know it’s been a while since I post so here’s some Hazbin art. I may upload some more Lucifer and Alastor stuff in the future. I honestly gave up on this because my app kept crashing so it’s kinda messy in some places and a bit all over the place.
This takes place after season 1. Lucifer is trying to heal Alastor’s wound and senses a foreign energy in him. Then a bunch of arguing later, he finds out that it’s Lilith. So, then it clicks for him as to why Alastor was/is at the hotel.
I’m currently working on a fic of it so if you’re interested in reading it, maybe I’ll continue it. I’ll just have to see how my motivation is. [,:
I do make ship art of them but as an aroace person, I don’t think I’ll be making any NSFW stuff of them because idk if I feel comfy about that. I’ll just see what I’m personally comfortable with in the future though! If I do, I will NOT be anything too graphic or intense because yeah, no.. the art that will be uploaded of them will mainly just be crack/chaotic art and fluffy, domestic stuff of them. Lol.
Soooo, anyways, enjoy my phone doodle! I cramped my fingers drawing this and wanted to chuck my phone across my room because I had to restart this drawing multiple times because my sketchbook app would crash and wouldn’t save anything. QvQ 💛
(This is also gonna be a mini-comic so this is just the first panel of a very short comic thingy. Lmao.)
(Also, side note, if you don’t ship it, that’s fine. However, please do NOT attack me or any other shippers in reblogs or comments with the statement of us betraying the aroace community or something like that. I am Aroace myself and it’s hurtful to be told that by people who I share a fandom with. I am on a similar spectrum as Alastor and it’s very hard for me to develop those kind of genuine attractions but that doesn’t mean that myself or other aroace people are not capable of those things. I feel infantilised when I see non-aro and non-ace folk speaking up on our behalf. I don’t mind it, per se, but when they act like they are the final say of our community, that’s where I personally take issue. If I am offended by something, I will speak up, I feel like I’m being treated like a child when people do stuff like that.
I do not personally need a non-aroace person speaking up on my behalf. I’m not offended when I see ship art regarding the character of Alastor. I DO get offended when people completely erase his asexuality, act like he has no idea has his anatomy works/infantilise him, erase his boundaries, etc. if you’re making art and fics with care and consideration toward his identity then I’m completely okay. Just be respectful.
I have seen/read some NSFW stuff regarding that character where the artist does handle it with care and respect. I have seen others that.. well.. don’t do that. Lol.
If someone is being genuinely disrespectful toward my community then please say something but DO NOT harass people over simple domestic SFW fanart. Just be nice to people please!!!! I will turn off comments or remove the comments if you attack people over a ship. Know that I am NOT the final say either. This is my personal input and opinion and do not take this as gospel!)
Art is meant to be loved and enjoyed. So, just enjoy and be kind to people please! 💛💛

After finishing all of Chapter 4, the Cheesetopia event and Burnice’s Agent story, I started having a fun headcanon.
Now, I live in a state that was part of the Old West and is neighboring the other Old West states. Because of that, I do remember a tradition that might sound old fashioned but is still done today in some areas.
It’s the courting tradition. Mainly, the “Ask Your Significant Other’s Guardian To Give You Their Blessing To Date/Marry” tradition.
So, Caesar’s character is that she’s secretly a romantic person who wants to live a romantic shojo life, right? Now, imagine Caesar reading one of her shojo manga and she stumbles into a scene with this scenario and she wants that to happen to her. And she tells the rest of the Sons of Calydon about it and other people overheard her saying that and it starts a trend. Well, kinda, Old Demir, the guy who tells the player about the customs and stories about the Outer Ring, says that Caesar is restarting an old tradition.
So imagine the Sons of Calydon having a significant other and they’re doing this tradition. It’s heartwarming and funny in the same time.
Caesar definitely has Big Daddy as her guardian. He’s basically her adoptive father. Caesar’s s/o might have a hard time impressing him, but Big Daddy doesn’t want to be impressed. He wants to see if the little girl he raised has found someone who loves and cares about her and will only give out his blessing if they show that they care more about Caesar’s personality and feelings than her title as Overlord.
Lucy didn’t want her s/o to ask her father for his blessing because of their rocky relationship, but got surprised when her father did want to give them his blessing. She thought he might’ve hated the idea of her dating, but she didn’t know that he was happy that Lucy found someone who can lend their support to her in rough times.
(This is based off of the Burnice Agent story)
Piper is old enough that she doesn’t need anyone to give her s/o their blessings. What she didn’t expect was Burnice asking her to act as her guardian and be the one to give out Burnice and her s/o’s blessing. I don’t know if Burnice is an orphan or not, but her relationship with Piper after the agent story was so sweet that I had to do this.
And now… Lighter. Like Burnice, it’s unclear if he’s an orphan or not, and his leaks do not help because they imply that he lived a harsh life. So who would Lighter go to, to act as his guardian or paternal figure for his blessing? I can think of only one person, or android. It’s Billy. Lighter is Billy’s successor and Lighter has lore with Billy, so Lighter ask Billy to act as his guardian to give Lighter and his s/o a blessing. Lighter did not expect Billy to take it seriously, but Billy was determined to make sure Lighter’s s/o was good for him and have planned multiple meetings to get know what person his successor was dating.
It’s a fun headcanon for me to think about the Sons of Calydon and their families.

what were your biggest reasons for restarting dotwd?
(I'll reblog this on @dotwd)
My biggest reasons for restarting Dawn was because I was falling into that trap where... like some AU authors try to rewrite the events of canon but fall too close to canon for comfort? Essentially we're restricting ourselves unintentionally.
Dawn;re actually has multiple rewritten versions. The earliest version of this fic was before it was called DoTWD and was solely on Wattpad back in 2013-2014 (it's deleted now). When I was writing Dawn;re it took months because I had written multiple 10k word chapters that I just... couldn't vibe with. That version was one of my favorites, it was inspired heavily by Fear:TWD and Project Zomboid. But it just didn't fit the vibe for DoTWD AU specifically.
My mainly problem was trying to do something new and adhere to canon, when in an AU--you can do whatever the hell you want, canon be damned. And it's crazy that I had reached about 26 chapters of Dawn to realize that when time comes to wrap up this season; I had essentially deadlocked myself back into this bubble of canon conformity while also having a hundred and fifty different branching ideas tailored for this AU. And I had already published up to S1E3 when I finally concluded that these ideas would be better overall for the story I wanted to tell, I just should've established them earlier.
I was coming up with important things and ironing out details as I went, which tripped me up while writing. Call back to when I stopped, went back and re-published Episode 2 (Chapters 6-8) because it was too linear, boring, and not what I initially wanted.
The hope this time around is that I do what I want right the first publish 'round.
That's the deal with these long gaps, I'm planning out stuff and writing chapters at the same time. If I can't get out of a creative rut, I take a long-ish break. (this is also counting IRL stuff that hinders me lol)

Prologue The Axe Forgets But The Tree Remembers
Tumblr media
After spending five years in the soul world they're finally all free, with no memories of being stuck within an endless void. Except of course, Peter Parker. A single good thing will never go his way; and this only further proves it.
Really hoping people will enjoy this, I haven't wrote anything in nearly three years so I'm hoping this will get me back into it. Please be patience and enjoy.
The soul world is endless. It's like walking in space, Peter decided one day (did he decide today? Last week? Last year? Who knows. Who really cares?), except at least space has stars and planets and some kind of hope of another life that isn't half of the earth's population. Sure he's met cool people, but no one can really be cool when they slowly lose their sanity after several years stuck inside an endless walkable orangey-yellow ground, with orangey-yellow skies to match.
They're also not cool when they take it out on you, the youngest superhero, because you're the easiest punching bag.
Dr. Strange lost it on everyone when they first materialised, mainly Star-lord. The brawls and fights that ensued were eventful. It took only a week before everyone gave up hope and started turning on each other; any weapon anyone still had was thrown and used.
Peter could be grateful for meeting Lord T'Challa, but his usually calm demeanour had been destroyed long ago.
"Still your fault!" Dr. Strange yelled as he stormed back and forth with his permanent scowl on his face.
"He killed Gamora! How would you feel?" Star-lord shouted back, his hands pulling at his hair.
This was maybe the hundredth time Peter had heard the same fight. He mouthed the words he knew off by heart. If he could find a wall he'd slam his head into it, or crawl into a ball and face it until his organs finally gave out on him. If they'd ever. Peter's only hope here was that he'd one day die. He didn't know of what. Murder clearly wouldn't do it, but his body was still ageing. He wasn't entirely sure.
"I know how I'd feel because everyone I know is dead!" The statement was most likely true; not many planets had survived Thanos' snap, devolving into madness, and if Peter knew anything about humanity, it was that it was not something that could survive this. May was dead. Mr. Stark was dead. So were Ned, MJ, Liz… At least they weren't here. Wherever here is.
Soon, the fight would drag Peter in, unwillingly. He had tried to get out of it multiple times, but it was like Groundhog day. Doomed to be repeated. Time and time again.
"Peter!" Here we go again.
When the fight died down and everyone was licking their wounds, Peter slowly rose to his feet, blood dripping from his cheek, and made his way over to Bucky and Dr. Strange.
"Stephen." Peter greeted, sitting down beside them. They didn't seem to like each other; no one here liked anyone. They just happened to end up beside each other when everyone else was too tired to restart the fight.
"Spider-Man, if you are here to ask again about if I have any new ideas. I don't. I don't, and I never fucking will. Leave me alone." Okay. Great. "You're even more useless than good ol' Star-Lord over there. If you had a single brain cell in that empty head, you'd leave me alone."
"You're young and full of hope; just lose it, kid. We're never getting out of here." Bucky joined in, his face full of anger and hatred.
Peter looked down, feeling ashamed. He knew he was just an annoying child in their eyes, but it always hurt to hear. He had no hope; he just wanted to talk to someone about anything. None of them cared to try and get along, and it was devastatingly lonely to only ever hear fights day in and day out.
Peter grumbled an apology, rose to his feet, and walked away. There was nowhere to go, but anywhere that wasn't in earshot was an improvement.
Peter stumbled upon Mantis. It was awful talking to her; she'd somehow managed to keep track of the days, although he didn't believe she was totally or at all accurate. Within the first month Peter went to her nearly every day to ask the date; his hope had still been alive that they would get out. Now he went just to twist the knife in his heart that they were definitely never getting out. This time was different; he was nearly certain he knew the date, but he wasn't positive.
Mantis sat next to Drax and Groot. They rarely said anything to each other besides playing simple hand games Star-Lord and Peter had taught them.
Drax spotted Peter first and yet said nothing; neither of them had anything to say to each other, and Peter couldn't handle another rejection today, or maybe for another month. Maybe ever. He could always sit in a different part of the void, letting everyone walk by him and yet never saying a word to any of them. He could sit with people who didn't even speak the same language so he couldn't hear when they were insulting him. Maybe he could walk far enough anyway that he'd see a section that was more yellowy-orange than orangey-yellow. Who knows. The possibilities are endless.
Mantis looked at him, "August 10th." She told him, then laid on her back and stared up.
"Thank you." He'll try his best to not lose his manners. His patience and hope? Maybe. But Aunt May had raised him better than to ever be rude.
Drax opened his mouth to say something, but Peter was already turning away, scratch never being rude.
He once again walked far enough away to be out of earshot of anyone, sat himself down, and closed his eyes, remembering his 16th birthday, May forcing him to sit down, and he winced from the cuts that had yet to heal on his lower back as he blew out his candles. She kissed his forehead and joked he'd be 18 before she even knew it. Before Thanos, she had begun planning his 17th birthday, something he was reluctant to agree to (What if something happened and the people of New York needed their friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man?). She told him it was his last birthday before he was a legal adult and he needed to expect nothing but greatness on it and to invite all his friends. She threw out ideas like paintballing, go-karting, or even having a few drinks at the apartment. Aunt May was so excited.
He wondered how she'd feel now. 19 years old and yet with nothing to show for it. He couldn't look in a mirror to see if he'd aged; no one would hold a conversation long enough for him to ask, and everyone else was at an age where their ageing wasn't visible.
If Aunt May had been snapped, which he prayed she hadn't as death was a much nicer fate than this, he'd yet to find her. When everyone first flooded in, it was chaos. The superheroes tried to calm everyone, create order, but no one trusted them anymore. After a while everyone stopped caring who else was in here. There was no one to tell if everyone who'd been a victim of Thanos even ended up here, although it was likely. Billions of people were here, all of them scared. They all seemed to stay put now, devoid of any emotion.
Peter Parker laid down, knowing all too well how pointless the idea of sleep was and, yet he sang to himself with his eyes closed, hoping it would work.
"Happy birthday to me…"

The Jersey Devil & The Pine Barrens Pin Stripe // Fabric design for @shapeshiftersvt and The Cryptid Collection
Oh it's time for my favorite cryptid, the Jersey Devil.
We've reached the first fabric design that was a direct adaptation from its coordinating travel poster. Here, let me show you, I think it's pretty obvious.
Tumblr media
This wasn't the first based-on-the-poster design that I did, but it was the very first poster that I did. I mean obviously. I grew up in New Jersey and, save for a 9 month stretch in Brooklyn after I was born, and a 2 year stint also in Brooklyn in my late 20's, I lived there for about 30 years. The Jersey Devil has always and will always hold a special place in my heart.
So why on earth is there a version of this pattern without it???????
Easy! Remember when I said that some of the fabric designs were created with Eli's runway looks in mind? Well here's the concept sketch for the Jersey Devil design:
Tumblr media
The initial concept while we were brainstorming and finalizing the fabric designs was to create a skirt suit with the trees-only design (Pine Barrens), with a binder or sports bra in the Jersey Devil design peeking out from underneath. I can't speak entirely to Eli's thought process, but I believe part of this decision was made with the photobombing idea behind the posters in mind, where the cryptids are sort of semi-hidden, or at least not the focus of the image. And part of it was aesthetic, not wanting to have multiple moons all over the outfit that might even get cut off and such.
I want to say I had a decent time with this one, and I think I did in the end. But I have to admit that it ended up being a little frustrating because it took a lot longer than I expected it to. Or that I thought it should, considering I was just recreating a slightly altered version of an illustration that I'd already done. It took a while to get the trees right, especially because for some reason that I kept getting a single pixel wide line across my horizontal seams that, like. The only way I can explain it is that it was as if the canvas was a single pixel shorter on the bottom than the image, so every time I smoothed out the seams and moved the tile back, that single pixel line would come out of hiding and break up the whole image because it didn't get edited, so the colors were in the wrong places.
This was NOT the case, for the record. I expanded the canvas multiple times in my attempts to fix this thinking that was what was happening. And yet it kept happening. I don't remember if restarting my computer fixed the problem (I often have issues with things on my screen not appearing properly when I need to restart to free up some memory); if I confirmed that it was just a weird visual glitch in Clip and that it wasn't visible anywhere else; or if it just stopped happening because I stopped moving the tile multiple times to double or triple check it and it was happening at the point of moving it. But I got it fixed, obviously.
And I'm pleased with it! I think if I'd put this one further down the list and so had more experience under my belt, I would've done it a little differently. Really mainly the tree repeat. I think I would've done a larger tile to get more trees, for more trunk shape variation; and to have more room to get a more gentle curve back and forth.
But the essence of the thing is still there, and I still think it's a cool concept (one that Eli came up with, I forgot to mention!) with the trees being stripes. And of course I love my flying Jersey Devil. I need draw more Jersey Devil art.
As always, if you'd like to order your own binder or sports bra with either of these fabric designs, you can find them (and the poster print) here, on the Shapeshifters website. If you do, we'll finally be able to get a photo instead of the mockups I made up there.
If you want to purchase the fabric for your own sewing projects, you can do so through our Spoonflower shop. Important to note that the Pine Barrens stripe runs vertically along the length of the yard; and the Jersey Devil stripe runs horizontally, and the pattern repeat is a full yard, so there's only one moon on each yard.

I'm thinking about the ways that Asharen can financially sustain herself after trespasser and here's the quick thoughts:
As a dalish she doesn't really own anything. And any money she ever had belonged to the clan so technically? She is pretty close to penniless again by the end of inquisition
She returns for the clan to visit after trespasser, and she restarts selling their hats, however most of the money from that goes once more fully to the clan
Her house in the area surrounding antiva city is given to her by Josie. Mainly because I'm certain they would have bonded over antiva and asharen would have told her about her dream of owning orange trees. The house comes with two baby orange trees in the garden
While doing work as a merchant she continues studying rift magic sending off letters and papers to multiple scholars in orlais, nevarra and tevinter. I wouldn't be surprised if she knew emmrich before veilguard and they exchanged letters. Especially since the fade experts are so few and far between. She probably gets some financial compensation from papers and research around this as well
I'd assume she could also be called as an expert in subjects related to that magic and be paid that way? But she'd be very hesitant to travel far and by herself during this time
Once she is back as Inquisitor she stops selling the hats for the clan once more but continues with some research work.

Nebula vedlbog June '24
This devblog has been crossposted from cohost.
Hello, hello. This one's a bit late because there were a few bits and pieces pending merge. As a bonus, I moved back to Linux from Windows this month after Win10 pushed Copilot once too often, so that has taken up a bit of my time and effort. My workflow is a bit horrifying, but so far works well enough to be getting on with. Now if I could get Vulkan to stop crashing when I play Warframe...
Nebula SS13 is an open source project based on the Baystation 12 version of Space Station 13. SS13 is a topdown multiplayer simulation game where you play the crew of a ship, station, colony, etc. depending on your fork and map, with the Nebula and Bay forks having a focus on roleplaying and simulation interactions.
Notable changes
Melting has been disabled on dev due to the UX impacts of having all your clothes melt off if you step onto a fire for a few seconds.
Drakes have been merged! Big stupid lizards are now live on the dev branch. This has come along with stance and dexterity refactors to support non-human behaviors.
Bows have been reworked to have slightly nicer UX and to support multiple ammo types. Crossbows, regular bows and slings are now available in the crafting menu.
Penny has been busily moving all of the SS13-specific game modes into modpacks, to allow them to be dropped from maps where they wouldn't make sense. While it would be funny for a meteor storm to land on Shaded Hills, it probably wouldn't be a lot of fun to play through. A nuclear mercenary ship landing on Middle-Earth might be more fun.
A swathe of fixes to the atmospherics system have been authored by NataKillar, and should help resolve some of the weird edge cases that have been cropping up during testing.
We have finally, FINALLY removed /carbon from the /human mobtype. This means that the majority of life code like breathing or equipment handling are available to all /mob/living subtypes, not just humans (and diona nymphs). It also basically guarantees all map or code ports involving humans will need extra work, but them's the breaks.
We have replaced /datum/dna with a new mob_snapshot datum, generated on demand. This was a big job due to how entangled DNA was with mob code, and cleaning up like this allows for us more flexibility when implementing new things like a reworked changeling or new genetic conditions/superpowers.
I finished dismantling /under, which is a minor victory. Originally this was going to support adding a lower body/pants equipment slot, but in practice with accessory stacking the pants slot seems like unnecessary complexity; maybe something to consider down the track(pants).
Shaded Hills has had quite a lot of work done, most recently adding beggar knights and shrine attendants to the job roster. We are down to 6 items on the Shaded Hills MVP list, one of which is lobby art, which I have been putting off for something like four successive weekends.
Penny directed me through some adventures in updating the scripts we use for running headless Linux servers to support BYOND 515. I am still not sure where she finds the information, other than some kind of communion with nightmare gods.
Just recently I added a bunch of skeleton icons for kobolds, tajara and drakes, mainly to support zombies and skellymans downstream.
Bugs of note
We have an annoying issue on ScavStation where some quirk of the server scripts and the Linux setup is resulting in a round end looping the round end sound effects and warning message until the server finishes rebuild and restarts. It's not great to get bombarded with 50 YOU WANNA PUT A BANGING DONK ON IT out of nowhere.
Until a recent dexteruty tweak, drakes were fully capable of cocking aiming and firing a combat shotgun using nothing but their mouths. They could also arm grenades and perform surgery with scalpels. Thankfully they have been nerfed before they could seize power.
Current priorities
With the PR list in single digits, I'd like to take the opportunity to work through our backlog of fiddly issues. Getting that down to zero (or at least getting through some of the old issues and any new dev issues) would be nice.
r5 has been merged to stable, and r6 will be staged soon. One of the big remaining PRs is a flooring rewrite that I have been working on off and on for months. It's now blocking the next staging period, so hopefully that will put some pressure on me to finish it.
Just recently, the Shaded Hills map and the fantasy modpack have been spun into a fork server called Pyrelight. A lot of the content I'd like to make using the Shaded Hills map and Neb systems is a bit too magicy-fantasy for Neb main, so I'm going to point it at this fork.

Random ramble post since I’m working on things you’ll see eventually but I feel like just rambling how the bosses went for me in ultrakill. (<- because friends had drastically different experiences apparently)
Swordsmachine - I can’t remember which encounter but it was in the demo and I did so horribly iirc; I think I thought I had more room than I did and got caught on walls where I was cornered and shredded. Swordsmachine in the main game however was a bit easier because I knew what I was getting into and honestly I think they helped me develop strategies for the Gabriel fights later on.
Cerberus Duo - I think I died at least 2 times to these guys for the same reasons as above: got cornered thinking I had more room. They were fun though but as normal enemies I hate them for their knockback dash attack.
(Demo ends here, read more for what picks up after, spoilers)
Hideous Mass - The start of almost rage quitting. It was the ground slam that’d destroy me every time for multiple restarts, I don’t remember how many. I still love this thing as a creature but as a boss… horrible in my first encounter, even worse later on… experimenting in sandbox though made me learn some cool things about how you can use its armor against it by strategically placing your shots, though I only used the revolver for this.
V2 (first encounter) - Sighs so loudly. I can’t remember how many restarts it was but it was a lot, less than Gabriel first encounter though. I almost quit for this fight I think because I was getting too stressed. I didn’t know what I was doing and tried to stick with my favorite, the revolver, but eventually out of anger I tried to stay as close as possible with the shotgun mainly for heals and less about damage. Defeating them actually excited me so that was fun !! Side note: currently I’ve beaten this encounter in less than a minute BUT I had no style so no P rank for me
The Corpse of King Minos - I DIED SO MUCH. At this point it feels unfair to compare all the fights because they all have something that tests you. Part of the reason I died so much at this point is parrying is so hard for me… I feel if I at least tried to learn it then I wouldn’t have been put in the blender like I was here. Both before you meet him and after, I died a lot for similar reasons mentioned above. During the 2nd phase of the fight Id die due to being chipped away just enough to get crushed like a bug. I almost rage quit for this one too, not knowing how to heal and hating having learned you have to get as close as possible to his hands to do so.
Gabriel (first encounter) - Where the fun begins!! I restarted 37 times. I was really looking forward to this fight due to my friend telling me about him before I even got into the game. It was so nightmarish but I was too insane to just give up like that. So many times I flew off the arena, slid onto the middle and got caught in the air, too slow switching weapons, so many reasons I got severely punished for. I don’t remember how the final fight of 37 restarts played out but god I was so full of adrenaline after that. Little did I know that it’d get much worse in the second encounter. Side note: currently I’ve beaten this encounter in 2 mins 13 seconds but I didn’t have enough style so no P rank..
Sisyphean Insurrectionist - At this point, understandably, I got very angry with how badly I was beaten up. The shockwave attacks I hate so much and that’s what got me so many times. I don’t have much to say because this fight bored me as much as I’d rather not say that.
V2 (second encounter) - If I remember correctly… I think I had less restarts for when I had the first encounter. Still, I had my ass handed to me. I stuck with the same strategy as before, we kinda just danced together with shotguns in our faces. I really liked the scene when they try to escape and we pursue them. I will say that at the end when we land and they crash, I was in denial about them being gone for good and kinda just.. stood there for a moment. It felt wrong almost to continue without them.
Ferryman - Another fight with plenty of restarts up there somewhere. As cool as I think they are, this thing kicked my ass so hard I almost rage quit, again. Even when I had plenty of room, my flaw was my slow reaction timing. I could handle myself for the most part in phase 1 but phase 2 is where it got even worse. The small arena, the knockback the idol gives you, the range of it’s attacks… absolutely horrid. It was always the idol that got me stuck and cornered and turned to scrap in an instant. I relied so heavily on my railcannon here for healing and it was difficult to be patient when I had to be responsive and aware of such a small area. Overall, I enjoyed it somewhat, I like the Ferryman’s character and seeing it’s ship was quite a moment. (And the hologram room… I just had to sit there and watch)
Leviathan - They were actually pretty easy and I think I restarted less than 5 times. If it isn’t obvious, the attack that got me was it’s lunge for a short bit, otherwise then it was the tail. I really like Leviathan’s design but I feel as if the encounter was sort of just thrown in there.
Gabriel (second encounter) - I am totally normal about this guy. My first time encountering him in the story I defeated him with only 2 restarts in 6 minutes. Jesus christ. This fight was really, really fun and easy to me which still shocks me my friends thought the opposite. I was also really looking forward to this fight both because of what my friend told me and I wanted to go down the youtube rabbithole but didn't want to spoil myself. I was totally normal through this fight (and after). That was a lie because I had so, so much energy from it I had to draw the scene of him playing the organ and I had to make it pretty. Side note: currently I've beaten this encounter in 2 mins 12 seconds, a second apart from the 1st encounter, again no style because I suck ass and getting these P ranks will be the worst thing of my life

I have a pretty bad upset belly tonight. Annoying. Today was a pretty excellent day. I was happy for distractions and not a lot of down time. I am very tired but I am glad for it. Today is Sabrina's birthday. And that hurt. I knew it would but it snuck up on me. She was on my mind even more then normal today. And I hate that I don't know where to put the feelings. It feels like stolen valor. Like I don't deserve to feel so sad. That I should be pouring that sympathy and empathy on her mom, my cousin, my aunt. Her family. But I am here family. I just feel so disconnected but I also feel bad saying that. I want my family to know how much I hurt for them. How she should be here. That we shouldn't have to think about what ifs. But I just feel numb at times. I wish I had the right words to comfort my family because instead I say nothing. And I hate that too.
So instead of falling into sadness I jumped into work.
I slept alright. And wasn't to tired when I woke up. I got dressed and felt cute. I wore my new fleece because it is chilly in the morning. But it would get very warm in the afternoon
James made me an omelet to bring to work. Packed my leftovers for lunch. And then I headed out.
It was a fine drive but I felt like I was driving into the sun the entire time. Which sucked and hurt my eyes. But I got to camp in one piece.
I drove up to arts and painted another layer on my sticks for MWEE. And decided to spend the time it was drying cleaning out the car. I meant to bring our vacuum but I will do that tomorrow. Today I just collected trash and put things away. Felt good. I like when the car is neat. I wish it had more storage but I make it work best I can.
After I was done I headed to the office. I was surprised Alexi was in already. We chatted for a few minutes. Then I went to answer emails and eat the omelet James made me. But my laptop froze. And remained frozen for multiple hours. Even the clock was frozen. It was horrible. Like I knew this laptop was on the way out. I have had it since 2019 and is has been falling apart and won't update anymore. And I knew I would have to replace it eventually but it was pretty clear that this was a now situation. I would ask James to look into it. I gave them the specs I wanted and my price point and my lovely husband found me a 2 in 1 touch screen refurbished on eBay with a two year warranty. They got that for me and I am glad I'll have something that works better and isn't so fragile.
In the mean time I thought I would try letting the laptop battery die since there wasn't another way to force restart it. I chatted with Alexi about this plan. And buying things on eBay. And then decided I would go start my big project of the day. Organizing Hudson Bay.
Hudson bay is one of the storage sheds/buildings in stockade. It is mainly used to store archy tag stuff. But when we were in there the other day looking for camping stakes I was horrified by how messy it was. This would be a lot of fun and a solid project.
I spent about an hour pulling things out. Sweeping. Just taking everything out to put on the ground in piles so I could easier look at everything. And I was having a great time.
Firstly there was so many coolers. So many kinds of coolers. Drink coolers. Lunch boxes. Huge white ones. Regular sized ones for camping. It was crazy how many we had. I pulled those all out and figured out what lids went to what. And then started moving stuff out to make space on the shelves to store things.
I decided it would go kitchen/cooking, then coolers, archery, then camping/tents/backpacks. Once I got all the coolers placed it was around 10 and I decided it was time to take a break.
I went down to the office to check in with Heather about the group today. She said instead of helping there me and Sarah would do some moving of bedding into storage. And then getting ready for our volunteer group tomorrow. By the end of the day we would.sll have sections of camp to be in charge of and lists of what should be done. Plus I would make sign ups for everyone so we could have a better idea of who was going where. Felt nice to have that direction.
Me and Sarah drove to Yukon to get some boxes. That basement will probably be my next sorting project. It is a bit of a mess. But we found some boxes and consolidated a bit of bedding to make better use of the space. When I have a few hours I'll tackle that for real but for now it worked.
We went to the pool to collect the trash bags of bedding a coworker had sorted at the end of the summer. There were a lot of towels and clothes too. So we spent a few minutes looking through the bags and pulling out puhtok shirts to put to the side and we both found a couple things to keep for ourselves. It was fun. We were being silly putting on jackets that were way to small. It was fun.
After we stored those three very large boxes and 3 more trash bags that didn't fit in those boxes we would get some plastic drawers to take to Hudson bay.
Sarah would be a huge help. She let me give directions and delegate which I appreciated. I focused on the cooking stuff while she kept taking things outside. Eventually she would focus on the archery and archery tag materials. While I started working on the camping stuff. Elizabeth said that if we found any rei stuff that could be return to rei for credit. So we would on the look out. We worked until 1230, when I was starting to lose steam, so drove some stuff to the sports shed to dropped of a few things we had found. And then we went to have some lunch.
My laptop had died and I was able to log back on. It still needs to be replaced but at least I could make sure I wasn't losing anything and can use it until the new one James order for me comes.
And my lunch was good. I waited and watched tiktoks until Sarah came and got me to keep working.
And it was tough but we did it. I got all the tents out. And while we did not figure out what parts go to what it is at least more organized and we can get into that actually piecing together later. I was really proud of us though. I got up on the shelves and she handed me things so they could be nicely organized. And I was just really thrilled with our work.
I loaded up all the trash we collected. All the old boxes and stuff. The plan was to go to the dumpsters. But we were surprised when there was a dumpster in the way of the road! A dumpster was dropped off for the camp cleaning tomorrow. So we threw everything in there and drove back to homestead and woodlands to walk around and talk through the stuff that needed to be done so we could make sure we weren't confused. We also decided to swap and now I'm in charge of homestead and she's in charge of woodlands. Mostly because she's more comfortable driving the pickup truck. I am looking forward to tomorrow. It will be nice to get more stuff done.
We would deliver some shovels and a wheelbarrow over by the pueblo. And after a little more discussion we went back to the office.
It was about 3 and Heather had me work on the sign up sheets for tomorrow. I finished that and chilled in the main office to keep talking through tomorrow. But then it was time for me to go.
I let James know I was on my way back. We are doing something special every day for our anniversary until the 14th. So we decided on dinner at the brewery where Sam and Paul had their engagement party.
People drove really stupid on the highway but I was as safe as I could be. When I got home I brought some stuff inside. Was happy to see I had a package. And was very happy to see James.
I would get changed into a nice dress. James put on their nice black shirt. They would spend some time updating my website with my Halloween designs. And I opened my mail and was excited about a few new things. S nice pair of earrings. Some stickers. A silly totebag. It was fun.
We would leave here and headed over to the brewery. And it was so nice. It wasn't busy at all and the staff was so nice. Our waiter was so excited that we were celebrating and not only got us a free dessert, he gave us a card and stickers. What a sweetheart.
And the food was pretty good! We got a giant mozzarella stick. James got steak because they had a special. I got a veggie panini that I enjoyed but I did not like the squash on it so I took that off. But the goat cheese and red peppers were great. And we got a whiskey bread pudding with ice cream and it was so good! I think it was made with a scone and that was really nice. I hope James makes us something like that soon cause it was really good.
I was just feeling really happy. My stomach was hurting but I was still having fun. Our waiter was really nice and another wait staff told us if we do a restaurant review and use his name he gets to be in a raffle of some kind. And I love reviewing on Google. I'm in the top 10% of reviewers in our area. So I wrote the most flattering review I could. I hope it helps!!
We drove home and were very giggly and it was really nice. When we got home I got changed into soft clothes. Eventually I would go take a shower. James used the bathroom to trim their beard first. And I would trim my bangs a little. My stomach really is hurting but I am still in a good mood. I continue to be in a good mood.
But that's hard because I'll be so happy and then I remember it's Sabrina's birthday and I get so sad and guilty. Which is stupid. I am sure she wouldn't want that, she wasn't that selfish. But it is still very raw when I think about it.
I just want to put good thoughts into the universe for her. I love you all. I hope you are all taking care of yourselves and reminding the people around you that you love them. Goodnight everyone.

I guess for reference the aus I sometimes refer to offhandedly that haunt my mind are (apologies that some have multiple names)…
Fatal Exception Error:
- Super Danganronpa 2 AU, with Chiaki as the protagonist
- This is basically a take on the redo/time travel concept I’ve seen other people do, with the main conceit of this AU being that the Neo World Project crashes and restarts during Chiaki’s execution (it was not programmed to handle what would happen if all the Usami backups were destroyed)
- Chiaki, Monomi, and Monokuma are all aware of what happened last game, and the game is even more them playing a big game of chess than the last time. Some things stay the same, but Monokuma does throw in new motives this time around.
- Chiaki tries to use her knowledge of what she knows about everyone and the events of last time to use and prevent her friends being killed but will she succeed..? (no it’s a rewrite people still die)
- I accidentally made Chiaki and Peko gay for each other and now that’s a large part of the AU. like I swear I did not make this AU with this in mind it just happened.
Your Angel or Your Devil (aka Deal With a Tiny Devil or YAoYD):
- my take on the Hikari’s partner is PicoDevimon AU
- the idea is mainly just a while rewrite of canon but only writing the relevant things that’d change, plus some extra content that just exists within the canon of this AU
- this is actually also a digimon tri rewrite in disguise because a large part of it is trying to set up tri and have it make sense in the broader sense of the series
- I have had this one the longest and have a LOT of thoughts about it but since I have not rewatched Adventure or 02 for a while I am not sure how many of said thoughts actually make sense/fit character or lore wise
Apollo Justice Quadrilogy (aka The Second Quadrilogy or Apollo Justice: Retrial):
- Rewrite of the second Ace Attorney trilogy, meant to actually progress from AA4 left off
- Is a quadrilogy because there are four games! One being Athena Cykes: Ace Attorney which is the third game, is purely Athena POV, and is a Dual Destinies rewrite. I debated moving this around timeline wise but legitimately I think it works best as right after my planned second game.
- Some main things to know are: Phoenix does not become a lawyer again, the sibling reveal happens second game and based a lot around the Gramaryes/Thalassa, and the last game is centered around the Gavin brothers and why Kristoph is Like That
anyway yeah. if you have questions about these let me know I guess because these three haunt my brain 24/7. I will note if you ask about these now it may be a while til I answer tho cause school is a pain.

Day Trip to Osaka
Today began as always at 8am with the class meeting at 9am. After the meeting we all headed to the train station to make our way to Osaka, which is about an hour away from Kyoto by train, and this is my second time making this trip so I knew what to expect going in. The train ride there was fine but I was pretty sleepy and was drifting off while standing up on the train. We eventually made it to Osaka and got off at Osaka Station where we then walked as a group to the Umeda Sky Building, which is a famous Osaka skyline skyscraper featuring two 40 story tall towers conjoined by the top 2 stories. Once we made it inside of the building we got into an elevator up to nearly the top before getting into escalators to take us up to the very top at the observation deck. After going to multiple different observation decks in different cities, I will say it is pretty cool to have seen so many and be able to recognize the differences between the skylines of these cities and how they compare.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I enjoyed getting to see the city of Osaka from such a high vantage point, and it was also cool to see the mountains ranging in the background of the city. Osaka is a lot bigger than I had previously anticipated and I am quite surprised by the scale of the city. I also thought it was cool to learn that in Osaka, people stand in the right side of the escalator and walk on the left, whereas in Tokyo the inverse is true. According to Professor Smith, this is because when escalators were being unveiled in Japan, in Osaka for the first time, they used the western method of escalator courtesy, and when escalators made their way to Tokyo, they went about it in the normal way without outside influence which resulted in these differences.
Tumblr media
After viewing the city from the top of the building, we then made our way down and out of the building we broke for lunch. Some friends and I decided on an Udon place where I ordered Dashi Udon with duck meat. My meal was pretty decent but nothing too special, the udon noodles were better than any i’ve had in the USA though. After this we all hopped on a train and made our way to a stop close to the Osaka Castle, which I was pretty excited to see. We then walked up to the castle and I was amazed at how massive it was close up, as seeing it from a distance looks like a normal house size but being 5 feet away really puts it into scale. The castle was very pretty and well decorated, and I was a fan of the architecture in general.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After viewing the castle, we all got on another train and made our way to Dotonbori, which is the main shopping and restaurant area in Osaka. I was not too much of a fan of this place, as it was extremely busy and a bit overwhelming at times, but it was still cool to see such a famous area in person. After walking around a bit with some friends we ended up deciding to head to the Osaka Pokemon Center to look around, it was also inside of a massive 10 story shopping mall that had just about every store you could think of, ranging from Gucci, to Lego, to a Godzilla store. The stuff there really was random and it was fun just exploring the area and seeing what it had to offer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After this, we made our way back to the hotel which took about an hour again. After we got back I went and got Gyudon for dinner to satisfy my hunger cravings before coming back to the hotel and showering and doing my laundry.
Academic Reflection
Todays reading focused a bit on the urbanization and industrialization of Japan, which was a pretty interesting topic to cover for today as we have seen so much of Japan already and got to go to another city in one day, mainly only possible because of the amazing infrastructure. I was a bit shocked to hear that in Japan, homes are not really an investment, and rather are readily destroyed and rebuilt as they do not really like to preserve old building and would rather demolish it and completely restart. This is a stark contrast to how housing is handled in the United States, where we tend to keep houses for as long as they possibly last, opting to renovate things over and over instead of demolishing and restarting. It’s interesting to see both sides of the coin, as maybe America could take notes from Japan in this sense to help with the housing crisis, as not viewing homes as investment would mean that people will stop holding on to them for so long. Another point that was brought up and I had already heard about, was how the loose zoning laws in Japan contributed to the dense urban population and allowed for their characteristic walkable cities. Though this was not new information, the content was definitely solidified via the reading.

this is my review of the roblox 2024 'the hunt' event, its not really necessary but i keep thinking about it so i need to get my thoughts out even if no one cares, and yes this will be a LOT of text.
important thing to note: i only found out about the hunt event when there was a week left to it. i had only stumbled upon it by luck because i decided to try playing roblox again after a few months of not playing, and had curiously clicked on the hunt button displayed pretty prominently on the side of my screen. my only regret with this event is that i didnt find out about it sooner.
this had left me with very little time to do some of these games, and so i didnt get to finish a good number of them in time, and had ended the event with only 77 badges, which is still a lot, but left me with 23 unfinished. those games will be labeled DNF (did not finish). if i had had the time, i for sure wouldve gotten the 100.
this isnt to mention that even after i had found out about it, for several of the days that week i was busy spending time with my family and doing stuff like a normal person, so i had even less time to do it.
with that out of the way, my commentary and ranking (at the end) of the games.
Steep Steps - DNF, i didnt like this game before this event, and i didnt like it during it. some people like a challenge, but i never liked steep steps flavor of challenge, im a checkpoints kinda guy. i despise that if you fuck up, you have to start ALL. OVER. i had gotten partially up the mountain before someone else had moved the ladder out from under me and sent me and someone else halfway down the cliff in a spot that was disconnected from the actual path, forcing us to restart the whole thing. fuck. that.
Gunfight Arena - this one was... okay? you just had to collect a bunch of items that dropped when people died, which was at least a good quest compared to some of these other ones, but this one didnt stick out to me. i had to go find someones gameplay of this game to remember what it even was, i literally didnt remember. not bad, just mid.
Mega Hide and Seek - DNF, i was on a serious time crunch by the time i got to this one so i really didnt have time to try and play this game properly, i couldnt find good hiding spots for the life of me so i gave up on public games. tried to do it on a private server with my alts (i have 2 alts lol) and i did what i thought was the requirement ?? it said to win 2 rounds, and i did, but it didnt count it? did i need to only win them as the seeker? i didnt have time for it, as ive said. dont know why it didnt count it.
Muscle Legends - if i remember correctly, this was the first game i did. its just one of many idle/clicker games, which is a genre i have multiple issues with, mainly the laziness of them. easy win, forgetful and stupid game.
My Restaurant! - forgettable. i want to say i had played this game beforehand, so maybe i had a restaurant established? either way i literally dont remember playing this, but its marked as complete and i wont argue with that. you just have to serve 100 customers, whatever.
Bike of Hell - pretty easy imo, though it can probably be a pain if youre not used to these kinds of games. just get to the end of a timed obby on a bike.
Lumber Tycoon 2 - HELLLAAAAA EASY WIN. literally just enter a cave, find a creepy but cool looking bird human creature (i loved it), and present it with a piece of a log. you dont even need to have played the game before, it accepted logs from even the most basic of trees. my many hours on this game were meaningless to this task LOL
BedWars - DNF, there were very few games i didnt get around to playing during this, and this was one of them.
My Hello Kitty Cafe (Build) - just another restaurant game, but hello kitty themed. yet again the task was 'serve 100 customers!' which was as easy as just setting up some functional blocks and setting up some employees, and then sitting around for maybe 5 minutes while the game did all the work for me. 0 challenge.
War Machines - this one was whatever. you just play as... i think youre iron man? going around an island killing a bunch of NPCs and collecting the items they drop. was annoying when other players killed me, but all around not much of a challenge and was fairly forgetful.
Spray Paint! - you have to find some paint cans around the small map, easy quest. saw a guy drawing a dick despite the fact that i had the 'other players drawings visible' option turned off. wonder if theyre doing alright.
Murderer VS Sheriffs Duels - DNF, i hate games that rely on other players, especially during an event like this because you really cant be like 'hey lets make an agreement so we can both get this badge' because most of these randos really dont give a fuck about you. youre meant to win like 5 duels or something idk anyway i tried to do it with one of my alts, and for some reason it didnt work? i cant imagine the game knew i was on an alt, i literally dont know why it didnt work.
Shindo Life - DNF, literally dont remember what i was meant to do in this or even what this game is, i think i played it for like 5 minutes to try and see what the quest was and for whatever reason i decided to play a different game instead.
Dungeon Quest! RPG Adventure - repetitive. the first 2 quests were extremely easy as i had already played this game and was higher level than the NPCs i had to fight, so defeating enemies and obtaining loot was easy, but for some reason it wanted me to defeat the boss 10 times, despite the fact that i finished the first 2 quests within 2 playthroughs of the dungeon. this led to me having to do the dungeon 10 times, which took way longer than i think it shouldve because i couldnt just walk to the end and kill the boss, i had to kill every enemy to unlock the door to every section of the dungeon. easy quest, but a bad quest. whats annoying is that when i went to look up someones gameplay of this to remember what the details were, they only had to defeat 2 bosses. bruh.
Metro Life - easy and forgettable. hop in a hot air balloon, collect some floating orb thingies, and exit the hot air balloon and talk to an npc.
Royale High - easy and forgettable. fly around a little map and collect eggs and return them to a nest. you didnt even have to 'search' for the eggs, they were more than abundant and glowed against the dark map.
RB Battles Minigames - DNF, "win one round or play three consecutive rounds", to quote the quest. i played three consecutive rounds, tried to talk to the npc, and for some reason it didnt count me playing 3 rounds. tried again, didnt work. broke ass quest, in my experience.
SCP: Roleplay - fairly easy, though a teeny bit of a challenge. you have to go get an item from a house, but the twist is that theres enemies along the way you have to fight, and they werent too hard to fight, but with many of them in fairly small spaces, it was a little annoying how they crowded me. not a bad quest, not the best either.
Club Roblox - DNF, i dont think i even played this one? i think i kept skipping it when searching for games and just forgot to even try it.
Slap Battles - this one was easy if you knew what you were doing, but iirc the game didnt explain enough to me what to do so i had to follow a tutorial. this was an issue with a few of these games, but i genuinely dont know if you wouldve been able to figure this one out on your own, or at least i wouldnt have been able to.
Driving Empire Car Racing - easy one, just do a few races. only complaint is that it only had one race map for me to play, and i wanted more than just one, but it wasnt a bad map and it was actually a fairly decent one. not a bad entry.
Super League Soccer - the quest was very easy, just complete 2 matches. you dont even have to win, or even to participate really. i think i just afk'd for most of it, i made a goal at one point! but yeah, basically just one where you can sit around if you want, or participate if sitting around for like 15 minutes is too boring for you.
Brookhaven RP - this one has my fucking respect because its an actual fucking egg hunt. it didnt succeed at the goal that most of these had, which was to make the player familiar with the game so that they might want to play it more, but it was good because it was an actual fucking egg hunt during THE EASTER EVENT. literally just walk around a small area of the map and collect like, 20? giant eggs. it actually took me a minute to see some of them, though it was all around still very easy.
Survive the Killer! - this one was one that actually had you play the game for at least one round. you had to find some battery thing on the map during a round, which had you avoid the killer and eventually need to carry the battery to an exit (which was timed i believe) and return the battery to a machine in the lobby. not a bad one, though the only version of murder i ever want to play is gmod or among us. fairly good quest.
Tower Defense Simulator - fairly easy! also i thought it was fun that the little guys used for the defense were reminiscent of the tf2 mercs lol, at least a little bit. i would say this one was pretty well balanced though maybe slightly balanced in the players favor. it was very easy to acquire the money to add more guys and level them up, though i remember i did have to sell a lot of them during the final boss to kill the guy. i remember this one a bit fondly, it was a pretty good quest.
The Floor Is Lava! - fairly easy, you just had to wait for the hunt map to come up (iirc it only happened every 8 rounds), and when it did come up it was pretty easy. forgettable.
War Tycoon - DNF, one of the ones where you had to find the crates around the map. wouldve been easy, but like i said, i dont like the ones where you have to deal with other players, and the thing is with these games is that if a player spots you, they are very likely to try and kill you, and i just really didnt want to deal with 12 year olds one shotting me while i searched for stupid boxes.
Treasure Hunt Simulator - yknow, i really shouldnt have liked this one at all because its basically just a clicker, but i was almost enjoying it slightly. maybe it was because it was one of the last ones i did so perhaps i was going a little nuts. you just had to get some chests, and the first two were very easy and only took a few minutes, but the last one took some grinding, which was a bit annoying. though once you realize that you can honestly just grab any chest with enough patience, i earned a lot of money very quickly by just nabbing a lot of stone chests despite their kinda high breaking number. easy, though tedious.
S6 Ultimate Football - just like the soccer one, you literally dont even need to do anything, just sit around. the goal is to play 4 quarters, and the only annoying part is that those quarters take SO. LONG. the dumb thing about football is that the timer is merely a suggestion and what should be 3-4 minutes can sometimes be closer to 10 or more because the game pauses every few seconds everytime the players make any damn movements and then they spent like 30 seconds replaying the clip of what happened and explaining what happened and blah blah blah I DO NOT LIKE SPORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF I WANTED TO WATCH SPORTS AND HEAR ABOUT SPORTS I WOULD GO TO MY DADS ROOM AND ASK HIM. HE WISHES SO BADLY THAT I LIKED SPORTS AND I DONT. anyway this was fucking stupid.
Emergency Hamburg - iirc this was just one where you needed to deliver like 1-2 things from point A to point B across the map. forgettable, but not really bad. more of a time waster than anything.
Twilight Daycare - This Was So Uncomfortable. i literally did not want to be a baby or a parent/babysitter ive already been both in my life thank you very much. it was easy, but literally why did i have to go through this experience. also to clarify im not a parent, but ive had to babysit my nephews a lot of times. i do not like taking care of other people.
Arsenal - while im not a fan of fighting games/shooters, i have to admit this was actually a pretty good quest. also it was a little bit fun, though i could say that about any decent shooter, its not that i hate them, its just not really my genre. you just had to complete a map made for the event, and it was well made.
Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition - i think i completed this in all of 5 minutes, which was disappointing. i thought id have to go on a hunt all across the map, and i wanted to! but all the eggs i needed were just right next to where i spawned. its not like i even needed to make a character either, ive played this game before so i already had a character pre-made. it would get points for actually being an egg hunt, but it loses them by how much i just didnt even get to do.
Project Smash - this one was whatever and forgettable. its an arena fighting game, and every few minutes an egg spawns and only one person can grab it. i think i grabbed it by the second time it spawned. its easy as long as youre lucky to be near it when it spawns. and again, im not a fighting game type of person, so i was bored playing it.
Ninja Legends - ANOTHER. FUCKING. IDLE/CLICKER. GAME. i hate these games with a passion. you just have to get to a certain point or click enough times or who CARES dude. shit game, shit quest, i fucking hate these games.
Natural Disaster Survival - DNF, look man, i know this game is a classic and has been around for a long time and its been pretty popular fairly consistently that whole time, but ive never been a big fan. for some reason i just can never get good at this game, and yeah yeah whatever its a skill issue, but i really just never could no matter how much i tried. i think the quest was for me to survive a few rounds, and i just couldnt.
PLS DONATE - this one was weirdly decent? you had to do a quest for an npc which led you to a bunker type area where you had to do some actually not-so-bad minigames. a fairly quick play, and it didnt actually make you spend robux like i feared it would. that said, someone did follow me around asking me for robux that i very much did not have (ive been stuck at 8 robux for a few years now LOL i just never bothered paying money for more) and i was like. dude im just here for the hunt. i think it wouldnt be surprising to mention this guy was a bacon hair in the default clothing.
Piggy - DNF, i heard the quest was good but i couldnt figure out what to do, and i couldve just watched a video but i was running out of time and just left it behind.
Pet Simulator 99! - DNF, by far one of the worst ones, and near unanimously the worst according to the general playerbase, and its very easy to see why. this game is a very good summary of the issue with "simulator" games on roblox, which arent even simulators and are literally just IDLE games, and its actually just a joke it was included, and its quest was a joke as well. lazy game that only wanted your money, and it wanted you to sit around for literal hours doing NOTHING while your pets gathered an obnoxiously large amount of money for you, and even then they wouldnt get enough to finish the quest i swear. i played it for maybe an hour or two before i decided i literally did not have the time to do it before the hunt ended, and if by some miracle i had the other 99 and didnt get the 100 before the event ended, it would be because of this game. i literally got up and made dinner at one point, which had me walking away for 30-40 minutes (i checked back in every few minutes to make sure i didnt disconnect) and when i got back it only gave me enough to get maybe halfway through the quest, but i knew that it would take me like 5x that amount of time to get to the end. fuck this game, fuck this quest, fuck roblox for their greedy corporate bullshit that led to everything involved with this one.
The Strongest Battlegrounds - it says that i completed this one and ill take its word for it, but i literally do not remember playing this for the life of me. even watching a video of someone else doing this doesnt bring back any memories for me. clearly its forgettable.
Strongman Simulator - in this one you have to lead an egg through a series of little mazes and obstacles, which is pretty easy. would be forgettable except for 2 things, starting with the bad one, some random guy said he likes to touch kids and then said 'particularly ones named [insert my username here]' in which i had to tell him that im literally 20 years old and not a kid, and he was like 'age is just a number' so i reported him because even though he was likely just an edgy kid, thats not fucking funny to joke about. the second and more positive one is that somehow me and someone i used to know that i was still friends with on roblox, we both were happening to do this event at the same time, and not only that, we ended up in several games at the same time, and this was one of them. this was the one where i finally had the guts to ask if they remembered me and where we knew eachother from, in which they said yeah, and we went through the quest together. i just thought that was neat :] despite some personal issues that arent anyone elses fault, i remember the protozone fondly (the protozone is where we knew eachother from lol)
Creatures of Sonaria Monster Kaiju Animal - this one was okay, you just had to play the game basically. it again falls into my issue with a few of these in which you have to rely on other players not fucking you over, and people almost did for me. one of the quests is to reach adulthood without dying, and someone nearly killed me at some point just because they could. it was fine i guess, but im not one for these kinds of survival games. also to be honest i thought this was a fakemon game and i was excited for it to be before i realize what kind of game it was, and im sad that one of the fakemon games wasnt part of this event, as theyre really good games actually.
Undead Defense Tycoon - this one was fine. you just had to get a certain number of eggs from specific zombies that would come attack your base, and obviously you had to build up your base to protect yourself from the oncoming hordes. not really bad, but not really good. time consuming more than anything.
Need More Friends - this one has you collect crystals around a small map, and then play through an obby while finding a code for a door. it was... fine? not a bad one, but it wasnt really a breathtaking memorable experience. i guess it would land higher on the list because it wasnt really bad or anything.
Wild Horse Islands - this one just has you do a short timed race. it was quick, easy, and forgettable.
The Mimic - you just have to play the game and walk around the map while collecting enough eggs to buy the badge. i guess theres meant to be a challenge in that youre meant to avoid the giant creature hunting you down, but in my experience it was more focused on other players and only killed me one time, making this a very easy experience and kinda boring.
Total Roblox Drama - a roblox version of total drama island, down to including characters that were very clearly based on the real characters from the franchise, only with changed names to avoid copyright or whatever. i actually had a lot of fun in this and weirdly made some connections and i think some enemies? i ended it in 3rd place! the mission was only to survive long enough to reach the merging of the teams, but i was so attached to the experience by that point that i was trying to win, and i almost did! the biggest obstacle was that there was one person who was so good that i almost think they were cheating, and me and the guy i ended up teaming with found out at the end that they were using an alt account, which is DEFINITELY cheating. their alt came 4th, but their main came 1st lol. btw i played the strat of being as nice as possible to get on peoples good sides, and i think it worked? it got me to 3rd so i guess it did. also that person who cheated literally didnt think that what they were doing was cheating which is nuts.
Military Tycoon - DNF, another one where you had to get the crates and it falls into the same issue as the other similar one, i just didnt want to deal with people killing me all the time if i stepped out of my base. wouldve done it if i had time, but i didnt.
Maple Hospital - this one was.. fine? not a bad one i guess but it was whatever imo. you had to... im trying to think of how to summarize it but its hard. you had to question some patients, go to a bunker, examine the bunker, clean the bunker of toxic waste, go to an alternate dimension and break some alien eggs (??) and then come back and cure a patient of some alien disease they had ??? idk man it was weird. not bad, i guess.
Greenville - this one had you driving all around the map to collect some items. i have to admit that its definitely just meant to be a time waster and wasnt the greatest quest, but it was just a simulation of what i do in most games LOL i usually just explore maps and fuck around like that, but it really was just meant to waste your time. i will say im impressed with how big the map is, but it really was mostly empty space so im not _that_ impressed. i think its meant to be based on a rural area in wisconsin or something. there was a culvers so i assume it was wisconsin.
Deadly Decisions - this is a trivia game, though it also tries to be saw for some reason. i actually had to leave this game and play it again the next day because i was having poor luck succeeding at it, mostly because of the 'questions' that werent even questions and were just minigames that you were kinda fucked for if you werent lucky. i feared i was wasting too much time with it which was why i left and tried again later.
Rocket UGC Car Crushers 2 – Physics Simulation - it should not be this fun to crush video game cars UGH IT WAS ACTUALLY FUN i favorited the game to play it more later. you just have to do a few simple and easy quests, it was not hard. i spent more time on it than i needed to because i literally just wanted to see all the available ways i had to crush the car.
All Star Tower Defenses - DNF, i just didnt get around to playing it.
Collect All Pets! - DNF, i just didnt get around to playing this one, mostly because i assumed it would be another idle/clicker game, and idk maybe it was i literally dont know.
Cheese TD - i think this was the one where there was a map made for this event and i actually lost it once or twice, but i eventually completed it of course. it was okay, also it was mouse/rat themed so that was cute i guess.
Restaurant Tycoon 2 - in this one you just have to serve customers enough that they drop 100 eggs that you have to pick up. i had apparently played this game in the past so i already had a functioning restaurant, all i had to do was wait around and make sure to pick up eggs when they dropped. whatever.
Car Dealership Tycoon - this one has points for being one where you run around and search for items, you dont even need to play the game as intended  lol. what i dont get is why it was bunnies instead of eggs, but at least thats still easter themed. it was a decent time.
Combat Warriors - DNF, i do not remember playing this, i think i just didnt get around to it.
Weapon Fighting Simulator - another. fucking. clicker. game. easy ass quest, boring ass shit ass game. i fucking hate clickers.
Tsunami Game - weird one. youre in a giant box and youre heading toward the other side of it while trying not to get pushed back to the start by varying levels of tsunamis, some of which can be easy avoided or jumped over, and others are harder to avoid. you have to go to a certain crevice in the walls and walk through a tunnel hiding in the side of it, which leads you out of the box to reveal youre in the desert, and you need to find an alien whos just chilling by a mountain. i took longer than i needed to because i like exploring and there was some stuff to look at in the desert, but it was easy once i knew what i was doing.
Funky Friday - just friday night funkin. you just have to play songs, and you dont even need to play them well lol. you can actually just play the songs solo and set it to 'whoever has the highest score wins', and the other half of battle never earns points, so you can just earn a single point and still win. whatever.
Death Ball - DNF, this is my personal least favorite. the actual game itself is fine, but the hunt quest specifically is fucked. you have to defeat a boss, and for most of the battle its fine, but by the time the boss has very little health, even when i was full health, i would die within 20 seconds. it hits you with every attack at once and way too much at once, i literally played this several times trying to defeat it and i just couldnt. i dont know how i was meant to do this, and i didnt have the time to figure out a strat. how the fuck was a noob meant to win this fight, ive been playing for over a decade and i couldnt.
Dress To Impress - this game is so fucking funny to me because they have these semi-realistic bodies but the heads are just the giant square ass robloxian heads and it does NOT look good dude it looks so fucking funny. i still think its really funny how people try so hard to have these detailed and really pretty makeup covered fashionable faces in roblox but then theyre plastered on heads that are so square they might as well be a minecraft block. sometimes comedy is so simple. that said i did like the clothing in this game and its honestly not a bad game! the quest was also not that bad, though it was kinda whatever, you just had to walk around the clothing room catching bunnies that were running around, specifically you had to catch 20 before the next round began. more repetitive than anything, but lucky it doesnt last long.
Drive World Drifting & Racing - repetitive but short, you just need to drive between some points back and forth for a few minutes to collect parts to make a car on a stage. eh.
Dragon Adventures Fantasy Pets - this one just has you walking around, fighting some enemies, and bringing an egg back to the start. kinda whatever quest, but i will say that the dragon models are really neat.
Spongebob Simulator - DNF, tedious bullshit idle/clicker game.
Swordburst 3 Boss - DNF, just didnt get around to it.
A Wolf Or Other - tried playing this one, realized i didnt have time to do the quest at the point when i tried playing it, and just didnt get back around to finishing it before the event ended.
Emergency Response: Liberty County - this one has you going around, finding and following some clues or something. there was like 8 clues in total but you only had to find the first 3 to complete the badge. i think my only issue is that it felt like you had to know the map to do this one, because it asked you to go to specific places that would take you a long time to find if you didnt know where to go, or would probably just not even be something people would know to look for.
Legends Of Speed - another 'simulator' where you just have to walk around for 30 seconds and boom you get the badge. very easy and quick. ugh.
Sonic Speed Simulator - this one has you running around a pretty big map to collect a specific part up to a certain amount. also yes, its all themed around sonic and you run around as if youre sonic and stuff. pretty fun for a quick play, though if the entire game is like the hunt map, i imagine it gets old. this is a good time to say that i remember the videos i was watching while playing most of these and i remember i was watching a video about avatar the last airbender and character designs, it was a good watch. also during the scp one i was watching a video about indian representation in 2000s cartoons and it was pretty informative. i had more fun watching these videos than playing almost all of these games LMAO
World // Zero Dungeons & RPG Adventure - i had already played this game a little bit ages ago so i had no issue defeating enemies, of which youre meant to kill a bunch to get the eggs they drop until you get a certain amount. easy, forgettable, more of a time waster than anything, but thats what this whole game felt like which is why i stopped playing it in the first place.
Escape Running Head - this one is basically like a nextbot game but youre running through little mazes or whatever. i was skeptical of it and maybe i shouldnt have liked it but it was a little bit fun for what it was. all you had to do was play the first 3 levels.
Elemental Powers Tycoon - this is an extremely generic tycoon game that is literally just a copy of almost every other modern tycoon. i chose the devil element, which is NOT an element, and it was themed after that chainsaw anime guy i guess? anyway your task was to find an egg that spawns wherever, defeat a boss that spawns every few minutes, and complete the tycoon. easy, boring, forgettable, whatever. and again its like, dude i dont want to have to fight other people who take delight in killing me whenever they get the chance.
Life Together RP - ill give this one points for being an egg hunt, but it was very easy and quick. all the eggs are around spawn in a very small park, and theyre hard to miss with how bright and fairly big they are. the only one you can manage to miss is the one hidden inside of a slide, because its the only one not out in the open.
Berry Avenue RP - this one has you buy the ingredients for an acai bowl, buy an apartment/house, make the acai bowl, and eat the bowl. easy, forgettable, felt like i was simulating what boomers think millenials do. also i thought it was broken because the first apartment i bought wouldnt let me walk through the door, turns out i just had to buy a different apartment. weird.
Toilet Tower Defense - bruh... why. i do not understand the skibidi toilet thing and this was clearly based off of it. also the first time i tried playing it i ended up in a lobby with a guy speaking spanish who chose the hard mode when i was trying to do easy, and i awkwardly tried to communicate with him through google translate... and then i realized i didnt even need to play that map of the game so i left and did what i was actually meant to do, which was collect eggs from various parts of the game. it would gain points for being an egg hunt and also making the player play the game a little bit, but like... it loses them for being about toilets.
Lumberjack Simulator - UGHHHHHHHHHHH FUCKING CLICKER GAMES FUCK OFFFFF
Break In 2 (Story) - iirc this was the one where for some reason the group of people end up in the base of some criminal organization and you have to fight some enemies every few minutes. it was whatever. you just had to survive until the end i think. also there was some guy in the attic that i thought was freddy fazbear for a minute but instead it was a cop, so you can imagine my disappointment.
Football Fusion 2 - DNF, another game that makes you have to deal with other people, but both quests it gives you rely solely on other players. you have to tackle someone, and you have to catch a ball from a teammate. despite playing for like 30 minutes, i did not manage either. this game sucks and i do not like sports.
Astro Renaissance - i think this one just has you go around a map collecting some items and then fighting a really easy boss. seriously they did not think that boss fight through, i literally just stood outside of the arena and shot it when it was vulnerable because the arena didnt have walls lol. easy but pretty
3008 [2.73] - i love this game btw. i have good memories in this game, which actually include the person i mentioned earlier from the protozone! we made a little cult where we worshipped the lamps because the light scares away the employees at night, and we even had a dramatic story of heroism and betrayal. anyway the hunt event quest in this game is to find a computer, activate the ability to have quests, wait until nighttime to do those quests, and theyre fairly simple if you can find the objects needed, and then just survive until the next day to get the badge. i played this one last because i knew i would like it most, and while it was fairly bare bones and quick, i am openly biased and enjoyed it. i just like playing this game.
Anime Dimensions Simulator - fairly easy, i think you just needed to complete two timed maps to get the badge. i actually failed it the first time cause i was taking too long to just kill the enemies, but i quickly got a hang of the game and finished it pretty easy. not a bad quest or game, though i imagine it gets old fast.
Catalog Avatar Creator - DNF, i think this one was one where you fight people...? i joined this one thinking it was a different game, saw the quest and realized i didnt have time for it, and never got back around to it. i dont remember what the quest was.
Doors - DNF, this is apparently a really popular and good game, but i just never understood it. i avoided it, and obviously just never got around to doing it. no hate to the creators, i just really never understood the appeal of this one.
Adopt Me! - this one has you go through some maps and do some minigames, it wasnt bad and i surprisingly liked some of the maps actually. i especially liked the creepy one with the giant dragon things, it was so cool looking <3
Big Paintball 2! - DNF, didnt get around to this one
Blade Ball - fairly easy, just have to play a few rounds to complete the quest.
Obby But You’re On a Bike - controversial opinion i guess, but i like this one. the quest isnt noob friendly and ive heard everyone else hated this one, but since ive played this game before and already had half the worlds unlocked, it was a quick and easy one for me, and fun because i already liked and played it lol. my only struggle was barely a struggle, as i dont like being timed and the first quest was to do the first world in under 13 minutes, and i only had 20 seconds to spare on my run when using the basic bike. This game definitely wants your money, but ive gotten good at ignoring that part of the game.
Arm Wrestle Simulator - another clicker, who cares.
Mega Mansion Tycoon - you just have to complete the tycoon up to a certain point, as eggs spawn after you get to certain points in the tycoon, and you need 4 to unlock a book that gives you the badge. forgettable and a time waster.
Barry’s Prison Run Obby! - you either dont need to complete the obby to get this badge, or my game was broke as fuck, because you need to get 10 donuts to get the badge iirc, and all of them were just... sitting in one place. easy, also this one was kinda gross. I can appreciate the acab spirit though
Pull a Sword - another. fucking. clicker. game.
The Survival Game - DNF, this was actually one of the first ones i played, but i didnt have the time to finish it. you had to progress enough to be able to fight an npc that was guarding a chest that held the badge, and i almost got there, but i didnt quite progress enough. i honestly just ran out of time on this one.
Redcliff City RP - another forgettable one where you just drive around a map collecting items and driving really far inbetween. whatever.
Carry a Friend! - i will admit that i was very lucky here. me and some random guy latched onto eachother and did it together, and we failed a few times for various reasons, but luckily this dude was chill and didnt abandon me lol. i only wish you didnt need to restart the whole thing everytime you fail, but once you understand what to do for each part of it, its pretty easy to just speed through it back to where you ended off. i can imagine how much it wouldve been the biggest pain in the ass if i didnt get so lucky, but if it came down to it i mightve just used an alt tbh.
Bayside High School - lol you just need to play what is basically guitar hero but on the keyboard, but unlike the friday night funkin clone, you actually have to try for this one. i dont play games like this, so i failed the first time, but i got it the second time. you have to get a C or higher to get the badge. honestly a pretty good one, i only remember being frustrated because, again, not the kind of game i really play, so i was not good at it.
Livetopia - this one has you walk around and smash a crate and melt some ice and get a vault or something idk whatever, its mostly a time waster with a hint of a minigame in it as you have to do a matching game two or three times, but it really is mostly just wasting your time on purpose.
Snowboard Obby - this one is a source of controversy, as the original quest was that you simply had to only play the game for 15 minutes, which meant people could literally just go idle and not even disconnect and be done, _but_ by the time i got to it, the quest was changed so that you had to do the first 100 levels (i think there was only 100?) but honestly they were pretty easy. i died a few times, but it was never enough to make me want to rage quit or anything. not a bad one after the change, but i can see why people were upset with it at first.
Fruit Battlegrounds - last but not least, another fucking fighting game that relies on other people. this one sucks, especially if you have no alts or friends to help you. you have to reach level 15, which is easy and just a time waster, as you can just spam a move and not have to actually attack people with it, but the second one is the one thats stupid. the second one is that you have to kill two people without dying. if youre unlucky enough to run into people who literally just want to ruin your day, and i promise you i did, then its a fucking piss fest. luckily i have 2 alts, so i found a spot near one of the spawns where i could hide and kill my alts. fuck this game honestly
and with that, the end of my commentary of each game. i know im not the target audience, as this game is meant to be targeted to kids and im an adult by now, but i feel like it should be worth something that ive been playing this game since i was 7 years old, 13 years ago. this game has changed a lot in that time, and ive played a few of the easter events by now, and this one was just... yikes. most of the games were low effort money hungry garbage. i wont go on a rant about it, but i really do have a lot of issues with modern roblox, and this event really does feel like a decent summary of those issues.
i dont even know if i could rank them... most of them really were just mid garbage. How am i supposed to rank games that all blend together and feel like they really didnt care? excluding the ones i just straight up didnt play, i can really only say this:
last place goes to death ball, second to last place goes to pet simulator 99. first place goes to... i dont know. none of them particularly stick out to me as being really worthy of a first place spot.
i wouldnt say this experience was a huge waste of my time and i regret doing it, and that it all around sucked, but it really wasnt as good as it very much couldve been. with some better game choices and some less lazy quests, this couldve been an actually really cool event, and a way to show off some games that are clearly full of love and passion, but instead it just... wasnt. roblox pushed all of the effort onto the playerbase, chose games that were clearly only there to make money, and this easter event didnt feel like an easter event. the one word i feel i can use to describe it is 'disappointment'.
i still love roblox, and i wont stop playing it, but i keep hoping maybe itll be better, and it just isnt. it took the turn that many companies and other things make where it decided that its main goal was to make money, but it forgot about the people that even made it possible to have that goal. its not like they ever didnt try to make money, even when i first started playing they had builders club, but there was still so much passion and love and it felt less corporate and greedy. there wasnt 200 idle/clicker games on the front page that were full of pop ups begging you to spend robux. tix actually allowed you to buy items without spending real money on them, and maybe they shouldve just changed how that mechanic worked instead of getting rid of it, but i heavily doubt theyd ever consider bringing it back in any form, only keeping the currency that you have to pay real money for, leaving you shit outta luck if you dont.
whatever man. its like growing up with a cool friend and then watching them become a soulless business man and still sticking by their side, but most of the time its not fun to hang out with them because theyre a corporate shell. but sometimes, just sometimes, they still shine through.

Warnings: N-sfw under a cut, suggestive behaviour multiple times not under the cut.
Tumblr media
Nesting:
Bakugou is not an omega who is big on nesting. He does nest and he’s very proud of his nest, but he doesn’t feel the urge to nest super often.
He doesn’t keep a permanent, all year-round nest, he’s kind of a clean freak so having to constantly clean all the blankets in his nest would drive his nuts.
He does nest during his heat and late term pregnancy, and also after periods of extreme stress, but not often outside of these times.
But if he knows his alpha likes his nests, he might build them for his alpha when they’re stressed, although he’ll claim he just felt like making it and it shouldn’t go to waste.
It’s not a very convincing lie.
His nest is not in a very popular style, mainly because Bakugou overheats so easily.
It’s a simple double mattress on a very low frame, with a couple of pillows and sheet like blankets that he normally uses as a base rather than a covering.
He has a black and red colour scheme that he thinks is the coolest thing ever, and he definitely has an All Might pillow hidden somewhere at the back that he threatens his alpha to keep a secret, it’s very cute.
He likes his nest to be in an easily defendable position, whether that be inside a large cupboard or wardrobe, or a small room with one door and a small window.
Bakugou also keeps a mini fridge by his nest, as a lot of omegas do, to store water and food, but what he has that a lot of omegas don’t, is a mini freezer too.
He keeps ice packs and ice lollies in there to help when he’s in heat because his temperature tends to get way too high.
Bakugou doesn’t like being vulnerable, so his nest is a sensitive topic for him.
It takes him quite a while to let his alpha into his nest, but he’s quicker to let them chill outside of it, holding his hand and keeping him company. He would probably let them outside his nest after courting for a year and knowing them for at least two years. When he lets them inside depends on a lot of factors, including how well they deal with him from the outside of his nest. It could be anywhere from three months to another year.
Pups:
Bakugou has always wanted some pups, but in a removed and distant kind of way. After all, becoming the No. 1 hero was far more important than any of that ‘family’ nonsense.
He only really considers pups when he’s in a very committed relationship and at a comfortable place in his career. He’s not prepared to take time off at a vulnerable career moment, after all.
Bakugou wants two children, because, while he would never admit it, he always wished he had a sibling when he was a kid, so he wants to give that to his children.
But he’s very conflicted about it.
Firstly, two pregnancy leaves would be a huge blow to his career. Prime hero years and prime ‘having children years’ are the same years, so in a way, he has to decide how to balance these two priorities. He isn’t sure he wants to risk his career with that much leave so close together (heroes can’t be in the field while pregnant at all, so it would be a huge sacrifice.)
Secondly, he’s nervous about how useless he would likely feel while pregnant. He’s a workaholic and being confined to his house and losing control over his quirk would drive him nuts.
So, he doesn’t really know what to do. He doesn’t share any of his concerns with his alpha, but he does take their wishes into account too. If his alpha really wants two children, Bakugou does keep that in mind. But he’s not a push over. If he decides that two maternity leaves are too many, then it’s too many. It’s his body and he won’t let anyone tell him otherwise.
So, with all this in mind, Bakugou is fucking thrilled when he finds out he’s having twins.
Two pups for the price of one pregnancy leave?? Sign him the hell up!
Bakugou has twin boys, both alphas, and Bakugou just cannot believe his luck that all his problems just fixed themselves.
“But I don’t want to go!” came a defiant voice from the back seat of the car. Both you and Bakugou sighed, not keen on restarting the disagreement that had plagued the household for the entire morning. It had taken twice as long as normal this morning to get the twins dressed and in the car because of this very argument.
You could see Bakugou about to open his mouth to tell him that they had to, but you held up a hand to stop him.
“Why don’t you want to go, sweetheart?” you cooed at your oldest son.
“I don’t want you and daddy to leave…” whimpered your youngest son, answering in his brother’s stead.
Bakugou winced and reached a hand into the back and squeezed each of his son’s hands in turn.
“I know.” He said simply. You could feel his guilt, even though you both knew it was the best for all of you that the twins get used to nursery so that both you and Bakugou could go back to focusing on your careers. They would be fine, you tried to convince yourself. Millions of kids do this every year and it works out fine.
The nursery came into view, and you refocused your attention onto finding a parking space in the little car park on the side of the building. You could hear your sons shifting anxiously in the back and it pulled at your heart strings. You pulled into an empty space and turned off the engine. You and Bakugou shared a single look before moving to get your children out of the car with practiced ease.
“No,” your eldest son shouted. “I’m not going to go. I’m staying here!”
You had tried to take him out of the car seat, but he had refused to cooperate. You didn’t want to pull him out in case you hurt him. Bakugou came to stand behind you, your youngest son clutching his neck desperately.
“Let me talk to him,” he spoke softly, handing the younger twin over into your arms.
“Hey,” Bakugou said softly, leaning down to peer inside the car where his eldest son stubbornly sat with his arms crossed. “It’s okay to be scared to go to nursery, you know.”
Your oldest son visibly flinched and avoided looking at Bakugou in the eyes.
“I’m not scared, daddy. I just don’t want to.”
“Uh huh,” Bakugou said, eyebrow raised.
“I’m not!” Your son exploded. When he realised that he’d just shouted at his father, the colour drained from his face and his bottom lip started to quiver. Bakugou wordlessly held out his arms and his eldest son accepted the embrace just in time to burst into heavy tears on Bakugou’s shoulder.
“It’s alright,” Bakugou hushed. “I’m not angry at you.”
In your arms, your youngest son was watching his brother cry and letting out little whimpers into your neck. You rubbed his back soothingly and whispered that everything was going to okay.
Out of the corner of your eye, you realised another parent was staring judgementally at your family. Bakugou clearly also noticed because he bared his teeth as a warning and the parent quickly moved on. You scoffed at the idiot who thought it was a good idea to antagonise an omega who was looking after a distraught pup, let alone when said omega was a top ten hero.
“W-What if they don’t l-like me?” your eldest whimpered out.
“Here,” Bakugou wiped some of the tears away with his thumb. “How about this, you tell me if anyone is mean to you and I’ll sort it out, how does that sound?”
“But…” your son hesitated. “But what will you do?”
Bakugou grinned.
“I’ll make their parents regret doing such a shitty job at parenting.”
You gasped, halfway between scandalised and amused.
“Katsuki!” you reprimanded and smacked his lightly on the shoulder.
It did seem to cheer up your sons, though, who were now giggling at your antics.
“Daddy said a bad word,” your youngest twin giggled to you.
“He did,” you pressed your lips together. “And it was very naughty of him.”
Bakugou rolled his eyes and instead placed the pup in his arms on the floor, taking him by the hand. You did the same and slowly, you both made your way toward the school gate. The mood dropped, but neither of your children tried to resist.
You could see a teacher standing at the gate to escort the new students and you made your way over.
“Remember,” Bakugou said before you reached the gate, stopping you all for a moment. “We’ll be back in this many hours,” he held up three fingers. “Can you guys tell me how many this is?”
“One… two… three…” they both said together.
“That’s right! See? You guys are going to be the smartest ones in there,” Bakugou boasted, ruffling their hair.
“Careful,” you teased. “They’ll turn into you.”
“Are you saying I’m always the smartest person in the room?” Bakugou grinned back.
“No, I’m saying you always think you’re the smartest person in the room.”
“Oi!” he growled, knocking his shoulder with yours. The pups giggled again, seeming to be in higher spirits. You escorted them to the gate at the front of the playground and let the teacher introduce herself.
And with one final goodbye, your pups were off into the nursery and out of sight.
You and Bakugou walked to the car in silence, digesting what had happened and processing that your little ones were now old enough for nursery. You both slipped back into the car and began the drive home.
It was weird to think that your children were neither with you, nor at home waiting for you, but that kind of existential deep dive could wait until later.
Bakugou’s hand settled just a little bit too high on your thigh. For the moment, it was time to appreciate the novelty of an empty house.
 Jealously:
I don’t think anyone would be very surprised to find out that Bakugou can get quite jealous on occasion.
In the early days of your relationship, he’s very nervous that his alpha is going to find a ‘better’ omega, an omega who is more traditional, and leave him for them. It takes a lot of bravery for him to leave himself vulnerable to being abandoned, and occasionally the insecurities seep through.
He hates the whiny, simpering omegas that plaster themselves onto the nearest alpha, and it makes him furious to see anyone doing that to you.
He has no subtlety, no brooding angst, he just threatens the other omega(s) away to their face, and then drags you somewhere private to cover you in his scent.
Later in the relationship, things change. He’s extremely confident that his alpha is his. Why would they ever leave him? He’s the best fucking omega ever!
Instead, he gets jealous if he isn’t getting enough attention because you’re spending too much time with someone else.
He doesn’t do this in a possessive way, it’s just that he doesn’t get a whole lot of free time and when his alpha spends that free time with someone else? Another omega? He’s pissed.
He gets surly and passive aggressive about it, and it’s extremely obvious.
The best way to fix it is to just give him lots of attention, he won’t behave like this is you have to leave for something important (he understands duty like the best of them), so it’s very easy to address.
Bakugou idly stirred a pot of miso soup as the radio in the kitchen blasted out whatever awful top 40 song it had picked this morning. He had only put it on to fill the silence really, which was the only thing this awful excuse for music was good for in his opinion.
He was making breakfast for the two of you as a kind of mini celebration. He had two days off in a row, the first time in a couple of months because of his crazy work schedule and he wanted to make sure he spent every moment that he could with his alpha. And so, here he was, getting up early to prepare breakfast for your both.
There was a lull in noise as the radio switched between songs, and in the few moments of silence, Bakugou could hear shuffling coming from the bathroom. He grinned. Perfect timing.
He put down the last plate and waited for you to come out, you should be here any second now.
Fiddling with your shirt one last time you swung open your bedroom door, bag on your shoulder, finally ready to leave. You were interrupted momentarily by a delicious scent in the air. Bakugou must be cooking, so you followed the smell to the kitchen and walked in to say goodbye to him, vaguely sad that you were going to be missing his food, but he was probably only making himself something to bring to work, anyway.
And then you saw the elaborate breakfast spread your heart stopped. Had you forgotten an anniversary? Bakugou looked just as shocked to see you dressed up and ready to leave. However, his shock soon melts into frustration.
“Why are you all dressed up?” he growled, the excitement that had been on his face when you walked in now gone. “You said you weren’t working today.”
“I’m not,” you said quietly, confused as to why he was so upset. “Izuku messaged me while I was getting dressed and invited me for brunch, I was just going to meet him.”
Bakugou’s face screwed up at your words. He went to open his mouth but then stopped. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He was doing the breathing exercises that his therapist taught him for when he was angry. What had you done to make him this upset?
The relaxing exercises clearly weren’t working for him because he stood up from the table and stalked out of the room suddenly, shutting himself in your bedroom. You winced as the door slammed shut behind him.
Oh dear… you had made your mate so upset that he had shut himself away in your bedroom. Your stomach twisted itself into a knot. It was time for some damage control (and a quick check of the calendar to makes sure you hadn’t actually forgotten an anniversary or something.)
You shot a quick text to Midoriya, apologising for cancelling and letting him know that something had come up. He sent back a ‘don’t worry!’ message and about six smiling emojis. Well, at least he wasn’t also mad at you.
Fishing out a tray from the cupboard above the sink, you stacked it up with as much food from the table as you could, thankful that it appeared to still be warm, and carried it to your bedroom door.
“Katsuki?” you called out, knocking on the door with your foot. “I’m coming in, is that okay?”
There was silence. Well, silence was better than swearing, so you carefully slid open the door and moved towards the brooding lump on the bed.
“The fuck do you want?” he growled. “I thought you were going out to eat with Deku?”
You froze at his vicious tone. Was he jealous? Well, that was a lot easier to solve than forgetting an anniversary, at least.  With a smile, you slid the tray onto the bedside table and climbed on the bed behind you mate, letting out a reassuring scent. You wrapped your arms around him, ignoring how he tensed in your embrace, and whispered into his ear.
“Why would I spend time with Midoriya when I could be spending time with you, hmm?” you whispered, purposefully blowing hot air onto his neck. You revelled in his full body shiver. “The only reason I accepted plans with Midoriya was because I thought you were going to work.” You pressed as close to him as you could and placed a single kiss right behind his ear. Bakugou melted at the affection.
“Come on now,” you continued, a coy smile on your face. “Let’s not let this delicious breakfast go to waste.”
You reached over and scooped a little bit of rice onto your fingers before holding it up to his lips. Bakugou opened his mouth with only a small grumble in complaint, and you made sure to push your fingers a little deeper inside than perhaps absolutely necessary.
“I promise I’ll make this morning’s misunderstanding up to you.”
Miscellaneous:
Bakugou’s scent is fairly sweet but still quite smoky.
When he’s upset/stressed, his scent is like burnt sugar, and when he’s very happy/excited, he smells like almost like a marshmallow roasting on a bonfire.
It’s a very pleasant scent but it does tend to divide people. Some love it, and others hate it.  Bakugou doesn’t care what anyone else thinks about his scent (except his alpha, but shh, that’s a secret!)
In his family, his father is an omega and his mother is an alpha and while they are happy together, Bakugou always promised himself that he would never end up in a relationship like that. He didn’t want some alpha bossing him around like his mother bossed around his father.
Bakugou finds meek alphas (and people) annoying, but he doesn’t like super aggressive alphas either. He’s attracted to people who exist in the middle of those extremes.
Bakugou knew he was an omega from birth, and it was something he was very insecure about for a long time. It was a big part of why he turned out the way he did as a child, he was making up for something that he viewed as a weakness by being as aggressive as possible.
His mother wasn’t great at making him feel secure in his secondary gender, assuming he would like certain things and pushing him in certain directions simply because he was an omega.
His father said that he was there if Bakugou had any questions, but he let Bakugou reach out to him instead of reaching out to Bakugou, and Bakugou was too proud to make the first move.
Bakugou ends up deciding that being an omega wasn’t going to stop him becoming the No. 1 hero. He decided that he could overcome being an omega.
It wasn’t until he was an adult that he actually started to accept being an omega was a part of him that he didn’t need to overcome, but that he could instead embrace and that it didn’t make him weak to do so.
When he does become a mainstream hero, he makes sure to always tell the omega children that he meets that they can do whatever they want and still be an omega.
N-sfw under the cut
Bakugou is a switch, mostly.
Oftentimes he switches multiple times in the same session, so his alpha needs to be quite the brat tamer to keep him from getting frustrated and trying to get on top so that he can control the pace.
He has a very high sex drive, and he likes to have a partner who can match him because he way prefers sex to masturbating.
It would be hard to find someone whose chest and nipples are as sensitive as Bakugou’s, and when he’s in heat, he can definitely orgasm just from his chest being stimulated.
Bakugou is also definitely a squirter, something which he was very shocked and embarrassed to find out.
Bakugou generally prefers slightly rougher sex. He gets bored when the pace is too slow and definitely scratches and bites (and is happy to receive the same in return).
When he’s in heat, Bakugou is a bit different.
He’s not a pillow prince by any means, but he is definitely a lot more passive than he is normally.
He’s not super loud, but he definitely swears a lot, even between waves of heat when he gets grumpy that he’s too hot and sticky. That swearing is a lot less sexy though.
Bakugou’s sexual side doesn’t really come out outside of his own home. He doesn’t like flaunting anything in public and can even get uncomfortable talking about sex with his friends, especially when they tease him with personal questions. He’s definitely a private person when it comes to sex.
Although that is not to say he isn’t confident in the expression of his own sexuality, much to opposite is true. He is definitely the kind of person to order some new toy or outfit on the internet every month to surprise his alpha.
He’s sexy and he knows it, so why not?

Misconceptions Regarding MCC14
Recently there have been a load of misconceptions regarding many of the controversies that happened this MCC, especially on Twitter and Tiktok, so I thought I would make a giant post detailing these and why they are wrong so I can scroll through my dash in peace.
1. Hbomb purposely abused a glitch in HITW that got Illumina and Mefs banned from MCC on the practice server.
This one can easily be broken down into three components: 1. Misinformation about the glitch itself 2. Misinformation about the Mefs and Illumina incident 3. When does abusing a glitch count as cheating?
Firstly, the glitch Hbomb used is actually very common in HITW and has been around since the game was first introduced. The devs know about it and have not made any complaints about it because the usage of the glitch itself is heavily luck based (depending on the ping of the player) and does not guarantee a win to any player who does get it. Take for example PearlescentMoon who has used the glitch repeatedly throughout many competitions (i.e MCC 11), yet has not gained any significant advantage through it because, again, there is still an element of skill required to use it. This glitch is not only known by the devs, but has been used before in HITW. It is not something new that Hbomb exploited as a means of getting ahead.
Secondly, the Illumina and Mefs situation is not at all comparable to the Hbomb one. Illumina and Mefs were using a completely different glitch which did guarantee a win to the player because it allowed the player to afk on the platform and allow the blocks to pass through them. They were not banned for exploiting this glitch, but rather reprimanded by Scott and the devs for not reporting it to them sooner. Mefs and Illumina are still allowed in MCC and only didn’t compete this time because the teams had already been formed.
Finally, in regards to the idea of cheating itself when using such a glitch, the idea that what Hbomb did counts as cheating is absurd considering past MCCs and the various glitches which have been abused as well. I’ve seen a lot of people mention the infamous Wilbur Glitch and I think its a perfect example. The Wilbur Glitch is from the game Rocket Spleef which was not played this MCC but certainly will be in the future. The glitch involves the player becoming stuck in a block and seemingly floating in the air allowing them to basically secure a win without admin intervention. This glitch is much more OP than the glitch Hbomb used, and we have even seen admins purposefully try to kill players for using it (i.e Philza MCC11). However, even when players have purposefully attempted to get it (Wilbur, Phil, Quackity, etc.), I have never seen the fandom react so negatively as to accuse them of cheating. It is not fair to accuse Hbomb of cheating when he abuses a glitch which has been in the game for ages and not do the same with your favourite creators who do a much more busted glitch as well. Personally, I don’t consider either of these cheating, but that’s my opinion.
2. They removed Parkour Warrior because Dream was too good. That’s not fair.
Okay, this one is very simple as its just not true. This falls under the assumption that Dream was the only player to finish Parkour Warrior which is not true (PeteZahHutt completed the course twice and was the first to ever complete it in MCC 6). While the reason the Parkour Warrior map was destroyed in MCC 11 is said to be that EpicLandlord destroyed it because “he was annoyed at how good Dream was at it”, this is mainly a joke (think of the Ranboo being banned from MCC situation, while Ranboo isn’t in MCC there’s no actual beef and he’s not actually banned.) Secondly, if you weren’t around for Parkour Warrior when it was still in MCC, or have only ever seen Dream or Pete’s POV, you might not know, but Parkour Warrior was a miserable game mode (think Build Mart/Bingo but ten times worse because there was no chance to improve your placement other than just being good at Parkour). The game was 10 minutes of pure rage and frustration from competitors, which while entertaining at times, wasn’t the best for content when only two POVs in the entire competition were deemed watchable. This also wasn’t good for a competition because it meant that only two teams at most were progressing (and by a large amount) due to one player while the rest lagged behind. It gave the teams which had Pete and Dream a huge advantage and made the game unfun and unfair to everyone else, so they revamped the game (to Parkour Tag) to make it an even playing field where everyone had a chance to win (in the spirit of MCC).
3. Scott had an unfair advantage in the competition and should be removed from the Dev Team or the Participants List.
This one is slightly more nuanced and may not have a definitive answer. Yes, Scott does have a slight advantage due to being a part of the dev team in every MCC. However, this MCC was definitely an outlier in that fact. Scott has been known to share info and tips with his teammates in past MCCs, but it has not truly impacted their performance on a significant level because the players knew a majority of the information anyways (the game rules, maps, etc). This MCC was unfair because Scott had a bigger advantage than originally assumed (it doesn’t mean he did it with malicious intent, it just means there was a severe oversight when designing the maps and explaining the rules to players). Also, the idea that Scott was guaranteed a win because he was part of the Dev Team is ridiculous and untrue.
Scott has always been treated on the same level as any other player and has not been giving special privileges because he helped work on the tournament. Take for example MCC 8. Scott was teamed with Tommy, Philza, and Wilbur, and they were doing very well! Then came (wait for it), Ace Race. Scott experienced a glitch which allowed him to remain with his Elytra activated for half the course and allowed him to skip over multiple checkpoints and placed him in first. However, by skipping over these checkpoints the game corrected his placement and put him in last. This was seen as not fair at the time and the Red Rabbits did complain, to which Noxite responded that there was nothing they could do and Scott would just have to finish the round as normal. This glitch severely impacted the Red Rabbits standings and possibly led to them not being able to compete in Dodgebolt that MCC. Yet, Scott was never treated differently than any other player throughout the glitch despite being a part of the Dev Team.
For the next MCC, I certainly think that Scott should be allowed to play as normal. I truly believe this MCC was a fluke, and although I too felt a little salty seeing my favourite go from 2nd to 30th, I believe that it is not worth getting up in arms about it because at the end of the day there is a whole season of competitions where any team has a chance to win.
4. They should have restarted the round and allowed the participants to retry the map.
While I too would have loved to see a rematch for Ace Rae, I would like to say that I, and probably many of the people playing, knew that it wasn’t going to happen. Noxcrew is very strict about the way MCC is run, it’s why I think it works so well. However, this means that they will not budge on these rules even in the face of something such as this competition’s Ace Race debacle. In the entire time of MCC, Noxcrew have only once ever restarted a round. This was in MCC 7 during Battle Box after there were server issues causing extreme lag for everyone (and Wilbur and Magistrex blew up their own teammates). It was unlikely that they were going to restart the round due to the mistake, and honestly, it might’ve caused more trouble than good to reset the points and the entire round of Ace Race.
5. The Spirit of MCC
This last one is more of a general statement than a misconception, but I would like to say that I have seen a lot of newer fans confused and upset about this MCC’s outcome. However, I would like to remind everyone that at the end of the day MCC is a for-fun tournament which brings MCYTs of every background to compete and have fun. Yes, there is an element of competitiveness as it is a competition, but it goes against the very spirit of the competitions to be toxic and rude in spite of not winning or placing lower than you expected. At the end of the day, it is a MC tournament that has no monetary prize other than a golden coin. It is immature to slander, spread misinformation, or send death threats and harassment over such a tournament and I wish shame upon anyone who’s first reaction to not winning or their team not winning was to do such a thing. MCC is a brilliant tournament that has changed the game for how MC Competitions have been done, and it is disheartening to see the hard work Noxcrew and Scott have done be disrespected as such. I hope next MCC the fandom can come together and make this the lovely fandom event it once was.

60 Years of Doctor Who Anniversary Marathon - Martin: 9th Review
Doctor Who Island in Fortnite - Video Game
youtube
So over the weekend, my nephew taught me how to play Fortnite. An online multiplayer game that primarily focuses on third person shooting and hosts various games/events based around that core game play. It's mostly Free To Play, with in games purchases primarily being cosmetic additions. This means, a complete noob like myself can jump right in and potentially win without paying anything. However, there is a steep learning curve and lots of stuff to memorize in order to become good. Just to briefly go over the basics, in Fornite you have a battle royale type mode, which to my knowledge is the most popular way to play the game, and in it you run around collecting better guns and equipment to try and off your opponents. Last man standing wins. You get a pick axe to break things, and a build button to make a shield/fort with, a glider to help you navigate the map, and items you find can included weapons, support/healing articles, and even vehicles to traverse the over-world with. Said over-world will start to shrink over time, forcing players towards the center of the map. This way you can't just hide away till everyone else bumps everyone else off for you. I'm mean you can, potentially, but you have to still be on the move while doing so. You can't remain in one place without dying. From there other modes build off this core concept; like creative/build mode, team play, and collect-a-thons ect. For the the purposes of this review however I'll only focus on the modes for the Doctor Who DLC.
Tumblr media
The first mode is "Creative". It's a simple quest adventure where you collect crystals to fix the TARDIS with. You only need five crystals and there are multiple challenges that will give you such key items. Everything from simple quizzes, collecting things for NPCs, to easy platforming puzzles. It's not a very hard mode, and at the end of the quest you get a little cosmetic tattoo for your character. It would be my favorite mode if it wasn't for one very big problem. It's laggy as hell. The game ran fine in any other mode, both off and on the Doctor Who Island, but this one quest constantly kept freezing up on us. What should have been a quick 15 to 20 min. game turned into an hour slog of constant restarts.
Tumblr media
The other three modes played a lot smother. First was Box Battle. All players are trapped in a single room with nothing but pre-assigned guns and the build button. The object of the game is to kill your opponents before they can kill you, while building mazes and forts to protect yourself. It's lasts for 10 short rounds and the person at the end with the most kills wins. This was my nephew's favorite mode, mainly because he kept beating me. I was less enthused, but that was nothing to do with the way the game played, and eveything to do with my lack of experiance and my dislike of the controls set up... which can be changed, but I just don't know how to yet. I will give the visuals prasie here though. Setting the box battle inside a giant Kerblam delivery box is inspired.
Tumblr media
Then there was the war mode. You either fought with the Daleks or the Timelords in a closed battle arena. Teams are chosen by the game, you don't get to pick, and each team has access to the same weapons sets, but you get to choose what you want from the selections on offer. This probably would have been a really fun mode with a large group of people, but sadly no one was playing but us two. We also couldn't figure out how to 'win/end' the game as there was no timer and you respawned when you died.  We finally agreed when we were ready to quit that my nephew won again as he had the most kills.
Tumblr media
Final mode is just a 'museum' to walk around in. It's cute. The models do look nice, but there's nothing to really do there. All in all, it's a nice free to play game that, while not much, is still fun to play and is competently executed. If the lag issue could be fixed in mode one (and tbf that only happened during the day we decided to play and not others) and if you can get more of a group together for the Time War mode, this would a solid gaming experience.
