25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now? - Efnisien ap Wledig in Falling Falling Stars

I thought I'd answered this one, but I think I'm wrong! Maybe I just imagined it.

Tbh this Efnisien I imagined as living an extremely depressing / despairing life at first. Like, I'm fairly certain when I first conceptualised this story, he was supposed to be raped within the first few chapters.

I know I imagined it as a very grey, bleak life. And that was all of our first impression of him from the first chapter! Thankfully he didn't have to suffer as much as I imagined he would when I first conceived of this story. I don't even think I really imagined him getting a happy ending.

I was kind of stuck in that space of 'how is anyone going to ever read a story about someone who has been cruel to animals, without him going through something awful' and it wasn't until I started writing that I realised this had to be a story about both restorative justice, but also about...well a lot of very complex issues that are more than just 'he should suffer and be sad.'

Hi! I just wanted to say I really love Fawx and Stallion! It reminds me a lot of both Victoriocity and Mission Rejected, I love it!
