Revisited the muffins saga recently and thought of an idea for a rewrite that i haven’t seen done yet: what if Maud was a one of the bakers?

the idea is honestly so funny to me, considering how monotone she is, especially when compared to her sisters. Like, we have the energy-filled Pinkie, the grounded yet narcissistic Inkie, the brash and blunt Blinkie, the quiet, pessimistic, and unnerving Minkie...and then there's Maud. She's there. She likes comedy. And rocks.

I imagine she might have tolerated the rock farm just a bit more than her sisters. She still hated it, but since she isn't the type to show...well, any emotion, you would never really know. She'd probably be pretty close to Minkie; the both of them being the quietest of the group. She would also take a matriarchal role along with Inkie; as they are both the most level-headed. Going off of what we see in the show, she would be pretty chill with Apple Bloom, too.

then there's the whole turing ponies into pastries thing. she would participate, but while the rest of the bakers show their true insanity, Maud just stays monotone. She doesn't do much extra to torment anypony; her emotionless attitude usually does the trick anyway. she leads the baking the least out of the group, and mostly just helps out with whatever the other end up doing.

IDK, the idea of Maud being in the deranged world that is the muffins saga and turning ponies into cupcakes is a hilarious concept to me, and i'm surprised i haven't seen anyone talk about it yet

Basic summary: Muffins rewrite where almost everything is the same except Maud Pie is there.

I have! I’ve only done the sisters at the moment, but I’m going to work on the rest soon ^^

I’ll also fill out a quick summary of them soon enough but basically

Limestone and Marble Pie came across Pinkie during a harvest, and while Limestone was curious how she managed to kill a full grown pony, Marble was more horrified, and in fear for her own safety she did her best to not anger Pinkie and ask about her ‘hobbies’ to make it seem she was just as interested as Limestone.

[a video, taken in Tix' garden, the sun is still out but it is already evening and the sky has taken a slightly yellowish hue. It shows Flit the Beedrill, Cheese the Crobat, and Marbles the Alolan Exeggutor playing some funny version of Volleyball or Tennis. Coffee the Koffing acts as the Ball, being gently tackled by the other Pokémon to change the direction in which he floats. After a minute, the camera pans towards the ground, showing a group of Pokémon sitting near the garden. Basil the Toxtricity can be heard playing a calming melody, Muffint the Budew is sitting in her lap, seemingly asleep. Bienenstich the Scolipede is laying on the ground, the two ultra-domesticated Trubbish also sleeping at her feet. The only Pokémon not visible is Ampersand the Sliggoo, even the ultra-domesticated petilil is peaking from behind a few plants]

Redesign of Marblestone Inkie Pie, also in my last post I accidentally called “Blinkie” Inkie instead of Blinkie.. so uhh my bad.

As you could see, I try to base Marble’s design off of Canon! Marble’s design. I kept the geode cutiemark but decided to give it a fresh update. I don’t really have any info though for her or for the other future redesigns ^^” /srs

Easy Banana Nutella Muffins

It's my birthday next week!!! I am SO happy about the simple fact that I am not sad and scared instead. Birthdays can be hard but now they're MINE (said while grinning like Claw Noir) and I do them my way.

Anyway I still need to decide on a cake motif - maybe a little bit like the 2021 staircase? - but that's reason enough to share the last two years on here.

This year I even have Occasions to share the finished piece with people (well, I have work and an unrelated picnic), so that's fun!

jokes on you this is what i was HOPING for >:)

Ozpin had a caretaker named Olivia Flora. She was kind, albeit strict, and did her best to keep him a child for as long as she could. Ozpin entered her care at 12, became a Huntsman at 15 (he was an exceptional student after all n with a lil help from the council it was official), and at 18 he was fully made Headmaster of Beacon Academy

she tried her best to make sure he was happy. his cookie recipe comes from her. his love for mystery novels comes from her. but when he was to become Headmaster, she was assigned to properly train and prepare him for his fate as the next Ozma

though, she was the reason he formed his inner circle to begin with. she always told him to find friends, and keep them close. as close as you can, so you will never be truly alone.

he trusted James, he trusted Glynda, and Qrow, and Theodore and Leonardo, too. he trusted his allies.

he did what she said...and it still turned out so bad...she tried so hard for him, and the world really was against him at every turn

it's not just cookies! Ozpin loves to bake, so he can make plenty of things. brownies, muffins, cupcakes, all that lil snack stuff

he is also a notorious stress baker so if the teachers lounge suddenly has a whole fuckin pie in there? its usually him. ...actually its always him. it'd never not be him.
