Marcus was definitely responsible for giving TMZ the story, right?

He knows Deborah. He knows how she is about work. He knows what motivates her. And the Tropicana scene seemed like a pretty deliberate addition to the episode. Which, yeah, metaphorically that scene is about Deborah - about a Vegas institution being taken down by corporate America. But it's focused on Marcus seeing it happen and starting to process it.

Also: he literally says "of course I miss conniving" to Deborah in his first scene of the episode.

since hofmann referenced the reason for her transfer to eilean mor was to work with laplace on ley line research… someone please write me a fic where windsong (and vila, if she works up the balls to confess) adopts marcus in honor of her late friend in a household where semmelweis pops over sometimes as the cool aunt. i believe their reading and ley line detection arcane skills would complement one another.

Z visits too, except whenever she visits marcus will still trip over herself every time and 恭喜發財 her, considering her new mom also gives off sobbing wet academic vibes and they bond through research, barely leaving their house to help marcus work her social skills again—

(except for when windsong, down and about as she is, reluctantly heads out for clients to put bread on their table i suppose)

There needs to be a Hacks episode next season where Ava meets a really hot girl and then finds out her name is Deborah right before hooking up with her but decides it would be a silly reason not to go through with it and then ends up getting a little too into it

If you have ideas/predictions for what might happen in the third season of Hacks HBO, write them down in reblogs/replies here on this post or in the bingo thread of the Avorah discord server!

Once s3 starts, everyone who wants to play gets a randomly generated bingo card and we'll see how many of our predictions will come through, and whether anyone gets a Bingo :D

Please keep your predictions short, we want to put them on a bingo sheet, a few words/ one short sentence, max!

It can be stuff that is likely to happen or things you hope will happen but are not so likely, but please nothing completely obvious (eg Ava and Deborah will be in scenes together) and nothing completely unrealistic (eg: they'll go to space), we want to make fair bingo cards

No content we already know will happen from the trailer etc, but ideas for repeats of s1&2 are okay, eg 'D mentions Ava's giant hands again'

Predictions can be about any characters or plot lines, ship related or otherwise, and also about behind the scenes stuff like what music might play, what cast will join as what character, etc!
