Star Wars:Dueling Orders

Fellow Star Wars Fans, May I present my Star Wars Fanfic “Echoes of the Void”. Episode 1 of my Dueling Orders Trilogy.

Originally a KOTOR fanfic, I ended up taking such liberties with the characters and universe I just decided to create my own Canon and Original Characters. Summary:

At the Height of the Mandalorian War, a mysterious new Sith Master has emerged from beyond the Outer Rim to Conquer the galaxy. At the head of the Sith Fleet is Sith-Apprentice and former Jedi Darth Marrick Blakstone. While the Republic desperately tries to negotiate a peace with the Mandalorians to unite against the Invaders, The High-Council has sent Jedi Master Jarvis, Marrick’s former teacher, to put together to a team of Jedi to hunt down his former Padawan and discover the identity of his new master.

ok, so, a random number generator roll for these ones, with results of Cards, Avery and Aster......... Avery is allowed because he does canonically exist in both ATDAO and undertow, similarly to Marrick c:

Cards doesn’t like to admit when xe needs help, I think xir pride gets in the way :P that being said, this is only a real barrier to Asking For help, if help is offered freely then xe will be quietly relieved and always accepts without much of a fuss. though to be fair, xe will generally frame this in xir head as, like........ well, it’s not like xe NEEDS help, xe’s just appreciative of the gesture and thinks it would be quite rude to turn someone down when they offer to share in a task or duty, since this is a gesture of friendship and an opportunity to form a connection c:

Avery...................................... no. this is a stubborn, stubborn man. he will not ask for help, and he will not often recognise when he needs help, because he’s super fuckin petty and wants to prove he can do everything on his own. he’s the polar opposite of Cards in that when someone offers to help him, he definitely takes it as an insult. he tends to read way too much into things, he will assume this is someone’s way of making fun of him or insinuating that he’s incapable, and very rarely sees it as just, like.......... a kind gesture. he’s got some learnin to do lmao

Aster accepts help enthusiastically, she has no issues with it at all :D she’s generally the first to offer to help others even if it inconveniences her, and on the occasion that she needs help, she’s the first of her gang of misfits to just waltz over to whatever random stranger happens to be closest to be all like “HEY HELLO WE NEED HELP PLEASE”. I think she’s very firmly of the belief that people are meant to assist each other and this is where a lot of their strength lies, and doesn’t really understand some people’s need to be completely sufficient on their own, or how asking for help can be seen as a weakness

💡 - How does your OC enact plans? Do they plan down to the smallest details, or do they wing it?

Cards likes plans. Cards likes keeping things straightforward and predictable. Cards likes to know exactly where xe needs to be and exactly what xe needs to be doing at exactly what time. this being said, xir plans are usually so over-detailed and hyperspecific that they loop right back round to being completely useless in any actual real-world scenario lmao

Avery is......... methodical? he's very logical and detail-oriented generally speaking, n he usually spends a fair amount of time examining all the possibilities and planning for the most likely scenario. look, I would say he's not quite as obsessive and panicked over plans as Cards, but he puts about the same amount of effort and detail into said plans, the main difference being Avery is flexible and adaptable enough in the moment that he can tweak his plans on the fly, whereas Cards will just kind of. collapse

Aster is notorious for just winging things, she's the resident impulsive enthusiastic dumbass, and I say this with all the love in my heart. she generally just launches herself into all sorts of risky and unpredictable situations without thinking, frequently taking her teammates (and herself) by surprise. she finds planning stifling and insists she thinks best under pressure :P on the odd occasion she attempts to plan ahead, when the time comes to enact that plan, all her preparation will go out the window within thirty seconds and she’ll end up making it up as she goes anyway, much to the distress of her various companions

Ah bugger - see its things like this that make me realize i need to move my butt and get things done on the theme. But nope its totally fine Nonnie and i will try my hardest to describe them as best i can. If you have ANY questions then don’t be shy to ask okay. So let’s start with the OC’sMaisie Young - A pediatric nurse who has a penchalant for being emotionless but at the same time getting highly attached to people. Grew up in a shit home at the hands of her father she tries to help people as much as she can. (Her verses are actually UP so you can check them out if you wish)Ellie Prinston - A 2000 year old witch and werewolf. Made to be one my magic - she travels a lot not really settling down anywhere and where she can she helps out other wolves and witches. Also currently being hunted by her asshole ex husband but thats another thing entirely. (Her verses are actually UP too so you can check them out if you wish)Deeks James - A killer for his cousins mob family. An asshole who does as he pleases, when he pleases and with whom he pleases. More prone to violence and sarcasm then compliments and niceties. Loyal towards his family and also happens to be a werewolf but thats another story.Lizza James - The baby of the James family and also the most innocent. A nurse && photographer who sees the world differently then most and tends to see the good in people even if it is the worst decision. But don’t piss her off as well she does have the James temper after all and a brother willing to kill anyone that hurts her.Mitch James - Said older brother of Lizza and cousin to Deeks. Head of the mob family and a killer. Doesn’t generally play by the rules and will do whatever he can to make the business better. Whilst at the same time bringing up his son Charlie.Marrick Kevallar - A hellhound from the first litter created by the creator of hell. He was granted his human form as a way to tempt more people into making deals with the devil but also allowing him to get closer to those he has to kill once the deals have ended. He is loyal to his master - like a dog in a way but other then that he tends to avoid people. Oh and also has an intense hatred for fellow demons.Layla Cole - A trained killer and a highly trained hacker. At five years old she hacked the FBI for fun and since then has took her talents and done unspeakable things with it but never gets caught. Also happens to work for the James family but at the same time is an independent worker. Finds fun in teasing everyone.Chrissy Rivers - A mechanic and a thief. DOES not play well with people no matter who said people are. She will do as she pleases and doesn’t care who the hell she offends in the first place (was written as a savior OC but i turned her into a fandomless OC)   Melitta Crow - A 2000 year old witch who will do anything she can for her family. She also happens to have a few hidden things but is more prone to playing games then actually getting to know people. After all she is too old to care for those younger then her when she’d have to say goodbye to them in the end.Diesel Snow - A rockstar with a charm. Basically the only ( human ) one of my muses. But yeah a rockstar who is very much a charmer and will do everything a rockstar does. Mostly to avoid his demons by drowning himself in booze and women and create new ones to destroy later.Natasha Day - A soldier breed to be the strongest there is. Undergoing nothing but test after test they adapted her DNA to make her stronger and faster than any human. She was brain washed to do as she told and took countless lives.Logan Andrews - A reaper who answers only to the horseman of death. He took the souls of his wife and son meaning that he gave up on his humanity. Allowing it to bleed away and leave him but there is still a small sliver underneath the surface that shines every now and then. Especially around children….People not so much.
