MASQOUIRAIN
A Quoisexual Pokémon. The evolved form of Surskit. Its antennae have patterns that resemble eyes, which Masquoirain use to intimidate its opponents. These patterns may shift slightly to show different expressions. For example if the eyes droop and appear sad, it signifies a storm is coming. In such a case, Masquoirain must quickly seek shelter as their wings do not cope well with moisture. Their wings are thin and absorbent, making flight impossible once they get wet. Masquoirain prefer to stay out in the sun or take refuge inside tree hollows. A quoisexual, sometimes referred to as whatsexual, Pokémon Masquoirain does not have an exact definition for its identity. Masquoirain may resonate with the term in multiple ways. For example they may be unable to understand the concept or idea of sexual attraction. Evolving from Surskit, a skolioromantic [also known as ceteromantic] Pokémon does not erase their romantic identity. Masquoirain still experience attraction towards nonbinary Pokémon however may be unable to differentiate between sexual and romantic attraction or, despite having romantic relationships, may be uncertain if they had or do experience sexual attraction to their partner. Once a Surskit begins to question the distinction it evolves into Masquoirain. Though its identity as a quoisexual Pokémon is valid, there are many who question it - both as a microlabel and as an asexual Pokémon. Due to the questioning nature of its sexuality, it is not comfortable with conflict. When its intimidation tactic fails Masquoirain flaps its wings in every direction to make its escape.

Dedemi
Pokédex entry below the cut.
Happy Asexual Awareness Week to my fellow aces! 💜 Asexual is a beautiful word that can be used on its own or as an umbrella term. As the latter there are so many different identities, each unique and valid. I can't possibly share them all in one week but there will be just a couple of Pride Pokémon to highlight the rainbow (pun may or may not be intended) of the asexual community. There's no wrong way to identify as asexual and if you resonate in any way with any or multiple labels under the ace umbrella, you are an important and valued one of us. Now aces, go and treat yourself to come cake (or garlic bread if you prefer)!
DEDEMI
A Demisexual Pokémon. Its whiskers serve as antennae. It uses its upper whiskers to survey its surroundings while its lower ones shoot out electricity. Dedemi uses its whiskers to communicate over vast distances, sharing where it can find bountiful amounts of electricity. Due to its size, Dedemi is unable to generate electricity on its own. It uses its tail to absorb electricity, primarily from houses and powerplants. As a result many homeowners complain when they realize a Dedemi is at work. Dedemi curl up and fall asleep when low on electricity so it is important they survey their surroundings to know where it’s safe or to remain in close contact with other electric Pokémon. However the latter is not particularly easy for Dedemi. They are not comfortable getting close to another Pokémon without first developing a strong emotional bond. A demisexual Pokémon, Dedemi does not experience sexual attraction until this deep bond is established. Their sexuality may reflect in their feeding; while Dedemi may share or feed off electricity from other electric Pokémon, some may not feel comfortable doing so without that attraction or, at the very least, a deep emotional connection. It is possible that Dedemi equate this sharing to an intimate act and may also not find it necessary to rely on another Pokémon if they can find electricity elsewhere. It is important not to force this on a Dedemi nor assume that there is something wrong with them. Please note that Dedemi’s sexuality can be combined with numerous other identities and that each individual Dedemi may have its own romantic, gender, or additional sexual orientation as well. If a Dedemi feels it can trust you to accept it, your home may very well turn into its favorite dinner.

Arodactyl
Pokédex entry below the cut.
Decided to revisit and redo some of my pride-colored Pokémon for Aromantic Awareness Week. This included redrawing the Pokémon as well as adding some new entries, drawing the Pokémon both with the pride flag and using the pride flag colors on the Pokémon, and editing the original entries i created. It only made sense to start with the obvious one, the first aromantic-named Pokémon i drew.
ARODACTYL
An Aromantic Pokémon.
Arodactyl can primarily be identified by their high-pitched cries and saw-like fangs. It flies by spreading its wings and gliding freely through the sky, rarely touching the ground as it becomes weak and slow. When revived from Amber most Arodactyl have been known to attack first and ask questions later, which further contend to their ferocious personalities. However, additional studies have proven that Arodactyl do not seem to connect with other Pokémon. On land, they are unable to avoid other Pokémon as desired. While most Arodactyl possess vicious temperaments, it primarily comes from the judgment of scientists who do not believe this research and, occasionally, from other Pokémon who wish to avoid them. When Arodactyl feel pain they respond by attacking, which is particularly true when it Mega Evolves. In that stage, sharp rocks which are harder than diamonds cover Arodactyl’s body and its power significantly increases. This results in Arodactyl further being excluded and misjudged. Each individual Arodactyl must be studied and accepted on a case by case basis. What some might call cold or ferocious is easily mistaken for strength and confidence; for they rule the skies as kings, the pinnacle of the Pokémon community.

ZACIAN
A Lesbian Pokémon. Known as a legendary hero in the Galar region. It is one of the hero duo along with Samazenta, the pair often referred to as sister and perhaps rivals. It has slumbered for eons, believed to have turned into a statue after assisting the ancient kings of Galar. A legendary Pokémon, it is said to have watched over lesbian and sapphic Pokémon alongside its sister Samazenta. During its slumber there was a period of time in which homosexuality was declared illegal; while it primarily affected gay Pokémon, lesbian Pokémon would be captured and punished as well. Because of the sisters’ disappearance and the lack of balance, some say that terfs and gatekeepers took advantage, resulting in wars within the community. Together Zacian and Samazenta maintain harmony, balance, understanding, and acceptance within the community and are considered legendary among lesbians and sapphics respectively. Once awakened, Zacian can absorb metal particles and shift into its true form. It carries the Lesbian King’s Sword in its mouth, which is powerful enough to cut through anything with only one strike. Many of its attacks are so quick they are unseen to the naked eye but, when they are, they are described as graceful and captivating. Swords have become a popular staple in the lesbian community because of Zacian. Though defined as one of the original lesbian Pokémon, Zacian welcomes all who resonate with the label in any way under its wing.

CINDERACE
An Asexual Pokémon Its name is a combination of the words cinder and ace; referring to its fire-type moves and asexuality respectively. Cinderace show little to no interest in other Pokémon physically and prefer to focus on their soccer* skills. By juggling a small pebble, they are able to turn it into a burning ball. It is strong enough to leave any opponent burned. Cinderace feel more fulfillment in soccer than with other Pokémon. They are best known for their signature move Pyro Ball. It is skilled in both offense and defense. It may find itself in trouble if it begins showboating. Many confuse this with celebration as Cinderace are rather expressing their joy in being recognized and accepted. Cinderace are accustomed to ignorance and exclusion for their identity and, as a result, they thrive off of cheers and encouragement. *Soccer is better known as football in some regions.

NONBUNEARY
A Non-binary Pokémon Its legs and arms may be weak, but its ears are its most powerful weapons. Instead of using its legs to jump high, Nonbuneary will slam its ears towards the ground. When attacking, it rolls up its ears tight and then unleashes them with enough power to shatter large boulders. One ear will almost always be tucked in so it can launch a swift counter attack as soon as possible. The more they train, the stronger their counter attacks become. Nonbuneary’s ears are also an indication of its health and emotions. When sensing danger, it perks up both of its ears. When scared, both ears roll up. The latter may also indicate an illness and must be taken to a Pokémon Center as soon as possible. However, never mistake a Nonbuneary’s identity as something that needs to be examined or fixed. Nonbuneary typically do not fall into the gender binary. Each individual Nonbuneary identifies with its label uniquely, with no two Nonbuneary being the same. This may include but is not limited to identifying in part with one or both binary genders, using non-binary as an umbrella label, not falling into either gender binary at all, or answering to different pronouns. There are many different ways Nonbuneary relate to and present themselves as non-binary. The more your friendship grows with it, the more it will open itself up to you. If you find a wild Nonbuneary on the icy mountains, respect its boundaries and keep your distance as it is likely there for protection. Most Nonbuneary will tuck their heads into their fur on cold nights. If training a Nonbuneary, the most important things you can do are accept it and keep it warm.

CHESPIN
An Intersex Pokémon. The spikes on their head are generally soft. When Chespin flexes them they become hard and stiff enough to pierce through stone. Chespin’s shell protects them from powerful attacks. It is made from a thick shell of wood so not even being hit by a truck would faze it.* Chespin are born with characteristics outside of the gender binary. This may be reflected in numerous ways such as hormones, chromosomes, and internal and/or external features. Chespin may have any gender identity or expression, though when hatched, some may be forced towards one of the binaries. Each Chespin has its own unique relationship with its gender identity as well as being intersex. As intersex is what a Chespin is, it is not inherently a queer Pokémon; however some Chespin may identify as anything under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. Intersex Pokémon are welcomed into the community as they face many of the same trials and share similar experiences to the queer community. This is perhaps why Chespin are naturally optimistic; they know they have a home with and are accepted by other queer Pokémon. *Do not let your Chespin walk in front of a truck.

LITWICK
A Lithosexual Pokémon. Also known as an Akoisexual Pokémon, Litwick does not feel compelled to seek out physical relationships. Litwick may experience sexual attraction but does not want it reciprocated. Its flame is usually out, leading some to believe that when the feeling is returned Litwick will finally light it. Others believe that when its light is shined Litwick begins to drain life force. Its flame acts as a guide but in reality leads those that see it into the Ghost World. Life energy is what fuels this Pokémon. The younger its target, the brighter its flame will burn. However Litwick have no ill intent and only react to protect and look after themselves. They are also willing to be the guide to the spirit world when needed. If a Litwick is around a sick child, know that the child is in proper hands and Litwick will be with them to the end. *Fun Fact: The shiny variant has a black flame candle.

BILOTIC
A Bisexual Pokémon. Said to be the most beautiful Pokémon. Its lovely scales resemble the bisexual flag. When its body shifts completely to pink, it releases a pulsing wave of energy that calms people in distress. Legends say that even a glimpse of Milotic will calm troubled hearts. Milotic live in deep, clear lakes and reveal themselves during war. Their presence soothes anger, hostility, and violence and ultimately brings an end to the combat. Those struggling with their identities will especially feel a sense of relief in Bilotic’s presence. A bisexual Pokémon, it is believed to have enough power to purify hearts completely and erase biphobia. Many have sought out Bilotic in hopes for acceptance and cleansing their inner phobias such as homophobia and aphobia as well. Bilotic is an epitome of the queer community, bending the binaries of gender and attraction. As bisexuality encompasses a range of attraction, a Bilotic may be seen partnering with one of numerous Pokémon. The number of genders a Bilotic may wish to partner with can range from two to all. It is very common to see multiple Bilotic paired with different Pokémon, as each communicate, present, and define their identity personally. Bilotic is the most popular Pokémon depicted in works of art. While countless artists, sculptors, musicians, writers, and the like desire Bilotic’s beauty to inspire their work, the queer community create art featuring Bilotic as a means of thanks and appreciation. It is not Bilotic’s physical appearance that inspires them but rather Bilotic’s power and heart.

LEDIAN
A Lesbian Pokémon Ledian use starlight as energy. Their spotted patterns react to the number of stars. The more that are out, the bigger their spots grow. As they flutter through the night sky, Ledian release a glowing powder. Some say this dust brings good luck. Conversely, Ledian do not bring such luck in battles as they are considered weak fighters. They punch with all four arms, hoping to succeed with quantity over quality. Ledian prefer to snack on berries rather than battle. During the day they can be found sleeping in forests, typically curled up in the grass or with leaves. It is believed Ledian are most populous in temperate lands with clean air where countless stars are visible. Some say such locations are untouched by humans and are a sanctuary for many lesbian and sapphic Pokémon. Records state that Ledian were originally discovered on the island of Lesbos. As one of many lesbian Pokémon, Ledian encompass a wide range of attraction. These may include but are not limited to bi, pan, polyamorous, asexual, aromantic, and tertiary. Additionally, their gender identity varies anywhere from cis to nonbinary to masculine. Ledian experience a queer attraction to female Pokémon. It is possible this is why Ledian are drawn to and react to the stars; because there there are as many stars as there are ways to experience living as a lesbian.

Cyndaqueer
Pokédex entry below the cut.
This is in honor of everyone in the queer community on International Coming Out Day. It's ok if you're not comfortable or safe enough to come out yet. It doesn't matter how long you have been out for. Whatever your label is, however many labels you use, whatever your pronouns are. Thank you for just being you. You're here and you're queer. And i hope it's ok to share this with you and for you.
Cyndaqueer
A Queer Pokémon. Timid by nature, Cyndaqueer are usually hunched over or curled into a ball. They are known to be mild and even-tempered. The flames on its back respond to its emotions. When startled or attacked, they light up in defense. When tired, they sputter with combustion. When angry, the fire burns vigorously. Despite its timidity, the angrier Cyndaqueer becomes the more firepower it harbors and the stronger it becomes. As a queer Pokémon, it is naturally cautious. Once used as a slur to harm the LGBTQ+ community, the label has generally been reclaimed and may be used for any number of reasons. Existing since Hisuian times, Cyndaqueer have a long history with queer terminology and may each respond differently. While queer may be used as a generic label, it can also be used for any number of reasons which is decided upon by each individual Pokémon. At the end of the day, the label is ultimately used to indicate a Pokémon is not straight and/or cisgender. There is no wrong way to resonate with the term queer. As such, Cyndaqueer may identify with any and/or multiple labels in the community. It includes but is not limited to sexual, romantic, and gender orientations as well as any variety of pronouns. A species that has been a part of the extensive history of the queer community Cyndaqueer err on the side of caution and simply wish to protect themselves, and understandably so.
Dex+ Entries: Arodactyl. Anorith. Talonframe. Venomoth. Bichu. Tranquil. Cinderace. Ledian. Pantump. Nonbuneary. Bilotic. Zacian. Dedemi. Litwick. Chespin. Masquoirain. Hitmontran. Pansage.
Disclaimer: As there are a few queer flags, Cyndaqueer's colors are represented by the queer chevron flag due to lavender shades having a consistent association with the community.

VENOMOTH
An Apothiromantic Pokémon.
Its wings are covered in dustlike scales. The color is indicative of how poisonous the toxins are. A darker hue results in poison while a lighter causes paralysis. These scales are difficult to remove from skin; it is best to remain downwind at all times. When attacking, Venomoth flaps its wings violently which releases poisonous powder all around. A romance-repulsed Pokémon, Venomoth especially execute this method when another Pokémon attempts to get close to them. Venomoth are uninterested in any activity that may be perceived as romantic and release the poisons as a defense mechanism. As a nocturnal Pokémon, Venomoth is only active at night. It feeds off of small insects that gather beneath streetlights. Attracted to the light in the darkness, some Venomoth may opt to watch romantic scenes play out beneath them but ultimately do not wish to engage themselves.

ANORITH
A LITHROMANTIC POKÉMON.
A type of aromantic Pokémon that has been revived from the Claw Fossil. It is said to be the ancestor of all bug Pokémon. It hunted prey with its claws, catching them on the seafloor. It is said to be an excellent swimmer with the use of its eight wings, however modern Anorith are no longer able to thrive in the ocean as water compression has changed. They are primarily located in Pokémon preserves where attempts are in progress to repopulate them. Unfortunately very few Anorth appear responsive; once a potential mate expresses interest in Anorith, they turn away. It is best not to force discomfort upon an Anorith, as its claws have been proven to be quite dangerous.

PANTUMP
A Panromantic Pokémon A Pokémon created when spirits possess rotten tree stumps in abandoned forests, most likely children. Their cries are similar to eerie screams which often imitate children. They use this method in hopes of luring people into the forest. Adults are prone to getting lost when following Pantump’s voice. They often search for Pantump in hopes of plucking the leaves from their heads, which are believed to cure any illness when boiled into liquid. A panromantic Pokémon, this does not always equate to Pantump being pansexual. Its sexual and gender identities may vary as they are separate from its romantic identity. Gender is not a factor in Pantump’s romantic attraction, though many have confused this with terms such as biromantic and omniromantic. This is perhaps why Pantump gravitate towards interacting with children as they are least likely to judge or ask questions and are more willing to accept Pantump exactly as they are.

Disclaimer: An alternate panromantic flag was used for the coloring courtesy of lgbtqia.wiki. The more common panromantic flag may be used on a future panromantic Pokémon.

TALONFRAME
A Frayromantic Pokémon.
The evolved form of Fletchinter. Talonframe can reach up to speeds of 310 mph when attacking prey. They will often attack with powerful kicks before grabbing the bird Pokémon in their powerful talons, which are able to carry over 220 pounds. When excited, Talonframe expels blue embers from the gaps between its feathers. This tactic may also be used to impress other Pokémon. When a Pokémon reciprocates the attraction, Talonframe will release its embers as an intimidation tactic. This is because Talonframe only wish to impress Pokémon they do not have a deep connection with. Potential attraction is unique to each individual Talonframe, as gender may or may not be a factor. As a type of aromantic Pokémon, romantic and physical attraction are two separate entities to Talonframe. However they maintain the same gender identity as their previous form, Fletchinter.

TRANQUILL
A Transgender Pokémon. An intelligent and peaceful Pokémon with acute memories. It is believed that deep within the forest where wild Tranquill make their homes, there are no battles. There, Tranquill are free from judgment and transphobia. Many Pokémon in the queer community hope to find this utopia so that they, too, can live authentically and in peace. When a Tranquil meets a trainer or partner that unconditionally accepts it, Tranquill becomes fiercely loyal to the point where distance becomes irrelevant. Tranquill always remember where their home is, so no matter how far they travel or where they go they will never be separated from their nest and community.
