You have math class in English? Wrow
I'm not even doxxing myself because there are like 4 different unis in my city offering that degree entirely taught in English. The language is the easiest part ngl makes it easy to pirate textbooks 馃槑

a funny side effect of having zero passion for my field of work is that people who only know Work Me regularly imply that i'm not a nerd

it's like. a truly special kind of torment to grow up in a largely science-y household and therefore put urself thru the rigour of a level sciences (no humanities subjects At All edition) and wonder why u can't cope with anything. My highest A-grades at the o levels were english and english literature. and i wondered WHY i couldnt get through it. ntm my brain was literally trying to kill itself badly caesar style

What's your PhD in?
Oh I'm not nearly there yet, but once I decide to start it'll likely be in analytical/statistical economics!

Okishio's theorem doesn't really have any bearing on Marx's actual model of LTV, right? It requires prices to be formed by the equilibrium of a differential equation, as opposed to the average quantity of labor required to produce the good. Marx never really bothers justifying his model of price formation, probably bc it was the standard economic consensus that he took as a starting point, so I can see why more recent Marxists would like to jettison it and why Okishio would be relevant to the alternatives. but Marx's proposal of TRPF is so dependent on the technical details that I don't see why you'd expect it to be preserved when you change the model of price formation
