born the daughter of the governor, Evie has always been distinguished by refinement and refined manners. she grew up surrounded by governesses and a caring father.

but her luxurious life takes an unexpected turn on the day when the pirates who arrived at the port decide to kidnap her. Evie becomes the captain's birthday present.

Matthew De Clermont is the thunderstorm of the Caribbean Islands. the English Navy has been chasing him for eight years now, but the captain always manages to slip away. De Clermont is one of the nine pirate lords in the Brethren Court, the Pirate Lords of the Seven Seas. the cruel but fair Matthew is the absolute leader of his team.

sometimes his team brings in a set of prisoners to get a ransom for them. but everything changes when, on Matthew's birthday, the pirates decide to give him a girl of noble blood. to Matthew's surprise, she is not at all afraid of him like everyone else. on the contrary, Evie is loud and outrageously rebellious.

Okay but adow Matthew being referred to as Hades or an omen of Death (like how Philippe was Hercules).

Human!reader prays in an old, forgotten temple (this is back a few centuries from today). Maybe it’s for Zeus, or Persephone or someone. But men track her there.

Matthew knows of her and has a fondness for her. And she knows of him—as does everyone; they know if he locks eyes with them, that means he’s coming for them next.

He happens to be wandering by the temple when he hears her cry out. In a flash, he’s inside. The men are pinning y/n down, but they haven’t gotten her clothes off yet. In an instant, Matthew has them all dead, leaving her blinking in shock.

“Am I next, Omen/Hades?”

“Of course not, darling. I will keep you safe”

Are we thinking an AU when he's from ancient Greece? Or maybe just a reincarnation of Hades? 👀 There are so many possibilities here!

Hello! I feel really strange and it’s been making me feel a bit uncomfortable. I feel really guilty because I’ve gotten a crush on a new fictional character (or two haha) but I keep thinking “you’re cheating on your ‘main’ fictional crush.” I think “why are you so worried about this, they’re fictional!” But I feel really guilty about it because I love my ‘main’ fictional character and they’re like my comfort character so I feel like I’m betraying them….. even though they don’t exist haha cont…

cont…. I just wanted to tell someone who knows about loving fictional characters heh.

I don't know if this is the same person that sent me an anon one time about feeling jealous of fictional character's significant others and hating them, but I'm going to give the same advice here.

It's okay to love multiple fictional characters. I love a ton of fiction characters: Bucky, Loki, Rhysand, Percy, Ben Solo, Matthew de Clermont, etc. But once again maybe take a step back from fandom and evaluate why you feel this way. Because like you said these characters don't exist. If you read a story that's let's say a Bucky x Reader story one day and then a Jason Todd x Reader story the next you're not cheating on Bucky. You're not in a committed relationship with either of them. You can love more than one character, there's nothing wrong with it.

So just try to enjoy fandom and don't feel guilty. Whoever your main fave is isn't going to know if you start reading fics about other fictional characters. Fandom is meant for enjoyment, but if you're not getting enjoyment out of it then it's time for a break.

Evie is annoying. but she is also smart, well-read and incredibly charming. her smile is maddening. but Evie never stops talking, and sometimes Matthew is ready to throw her overboard.

in some incredible way, she managed to charm the whole team. Each of these ruthless pirates was charmed by her smile. they all listen to her stories, ask her to sing for them every night and cook the best dishes for her. sometimes it seems to Matthew that it is not the girl who is being held captive here, but himself.

he lets her stay on the ship and be their little “Princess Luck”.

one evening, when the crew turned on an old gramophone, one of the pirates shouted: “Come on, Captain! Dance!” Matthew rolled his eyes. Evie smiled slyly and held out her hand to him.

“Come on, Captain”, she teases.

Well, well, well. Matthew smiles and gently takes the girl's hand. today he would play by her rules. but only today.

Anyways, hope you like this 🥰 Hinting at smut, but nothing happens 😏🥰

“Matthew”, you whispered, leaning over him where he sat and pressing a kiss against his cheek. “Gabriel”, you went on, kissing his other cheek. “Philippe”, he let out a soft huff at that, but let you kiss his neck. “Bertrand—.”

Matthew grabbed your hand then, “Don’t. Call me. That.” 

“Sébastien.” Your voice was soft as he glared down at you. “Let go of my arm, my love.”

It took a few moments, and then he let go of you, turning back to the desk, sitting down.

“Come back to bed my love. It’s cold there without you.”

Of course, it was cold when he was there too, but you liked the coldness he emitted.

“I’ll be back before you know it mon Coeur. Go back to bed.” 

But you didn’t leave. Instead walking the few steps to his desk and hopping up, looking at him.

“Please, please, please, let me finish my work.”

“You can do it in the morning.”

Matthew looked up at you with a dark look, his hands smoothing over your soft skin.

“I miss you. Come back to me.” You pleaded in a soft whisper. 

Although usually stubborn, you knew a way to break his façade. Slowly opening your legs while maintaining eye contact with him, you watched as the danger in his eyes was replaced with hunger. With a swift movement he was up and carrying you to bed, ready to give into your wish and needs.

His lips on the sweet spot of yours as soon as the door was closed.

“You should know better than to tease me like that.” His voice a low rumble in his throat.

“It was the only way. I was lonely in here without you.”

He huffed, dropping you on the bed and getting in on top of you. “I guess I’ll have to fix that then, don’t I?”

You nodded excitedly, pulling at his shirt and trying to get him undressed.

“Such an eager little thing aren’t you mon Coeur?” He had the slightest hint of a smirk on his lips.

It was unfair how easy he made it look when undressing you. He could get you naked in a matter of seconds, without breaking a single button, while you took longer. 

“Matthew--?” your voice betrayed you, his name coming out as a needy whimper.

“Patience.” If it wasn’t for the fact that he was a vampire, you’d slap that smirk off his lips. But instead, you could only watch his face as he teased you, a pout evident on your own face.

“You’re not playing fair babe.”

He simply laughed, dipping his head to kiss you softly. “You want me to play fair huh?”

You nodded, pouting still. 

“I’ll play fair.” A glint of mischief evident in his eyes as he dipped in for more kisses.

but when that doesn't work Evie decides to use her usual methods.

Matthew Clairmont has already come to terms with the fact that his heart has long been cold. the most important thing in his life is his work. but when he meets Evie with her charming smile and funny jokes, it seems to him that he has gone crazy.

she makes his heart beat again… but the professor is not sure whether he likes this new sensation or not

Ice Skating

You could not believe your luck when Master Roydon had asked you to join him on the frozen Thames for an afternoon stroll.

Happily accepting you waited for him to come meet you.

“Ms. y/l/n, thank you for accompanying me on this walk today.”

His voice was soft as he spoke, standing in the hallway next to one of the servants of the house.

“I will be most honored to walk with you master Roydon.”

Your mother nodded approvingly at you and your father did to.

It was not always that you had such fine company. And he seemed to be the first suitor you actually paid attention to. How could you not? Master Roydon was one of the most sought after bachelors in London. Any woman would be lucky to court him.

Although he was a few years older than you, something not uncommon in these times, it didn’t stop how you felt about him.

Once at the stairs leading down to the water, he finally offered you his hand, helping you down the possibly slippy stairs.

It was like electricity coursing through you at the touch of his hand.

He helped slip the tools onto your feet and then steadied you, guiding you to move without letting you fall.

You were a bit clumsy at first, but soon enough got the hang of it.

Matthew never once let go of your hand. The two of you skating until you could not feel your feet from the cold.

Leading you back to the embankment, Matthew helped you out of your skates and back up to the street.

Once you got on street level however, he dropped your hand, keeping an appropriate but still somewhat close distance from you.

“I had fun today Master Roydon.” You dared to look at him, gifting him a smile.

“As did I. Shall we do it again? Maybe tomorrow?”

You didn’t want to sound too eager, but the thought of seeing him again so soon was tempting.

“I shall ask your father when we return to your house.”

“I would love to accompany you again Master Roydon.”

He delivered you to your house, kissing the top of your hand before turning to talk to your father, and all you could do was hope.

So as mentioned in my previous post about this bingo, my birthday is next month. And for that occasion I wanted to host another bingo! Like my last bingo in October 2021, this one will have moodboards to the squares.
