Older!Horror Villains x Younger!Reader || Reactions
Tumblr media
Reacting to: Someone at the store thinking that they're your grandparent- rather then your S/O. (Just something funny I was considering for Inkubus but decided to just do for all of them ^^ XD 😅)
Characters Included: The gilfs of the fandom 😅 ? I'm thinking 50 years and above. Captain Spaulding, Drayton Sawyer, Granny Boone, Inkubus, Jedidiah Sawyer, Luda Mae Hewitt, Mayor Buckman, Mental Manny / Manual Dyer, Peepaw Michael Myers, Norman Nordstrom, Otis B. Driftwood, Pamela Voorhees, Sheriff Hoyt / Charlie Hewitt Jr, Stuart Lloyd, the Taxidermist / Walter Harris and Winslow Foxworth Coltrane.
Warnings: Major age difference, bad language, sexual references, a really awkward misunderstanding...
Tumblr media
Captain Spaulding: Spaulding's a pretty good sport about it XD In fact, he kinda enjoys it. Cuz then he gets to rub it in the persons face what a young, hot thing he's got going here with you and what- what did you say you had again?? Nothin'?? Yeahh, that's what I thought. Fuck right off, why dontcha?
Tumblr media
Drayton Sawyer: Drayton goes so red and is about to blow his top. He gets enough shit from his brothers over this! He does not need one more moron bothering him about it! Fuck off! *Grabs you by the arm and storms off*
Tumblr media
Granny Boone: "... Grandma, huh? Alright then!~ " *Turns to you* "Come here, sweetie, give grandmother a kiss~ " She's about to ruin that guys whole career 😅😅😅
Tumblr media
Inkubus: Inkubus is not amused. Grandpa?? Absolutely not, no. He'll correct the person in the most embarrassing way possible.
Tumblr media
Jedidiah Sawyer: Jed does not care at all 😅😅 The only person who's opinion matters to him is yours, so who cares if this guy thinks he's your grandpa? Fine then, he's your grandpa. So go and mow the lawn for him while he sits on the porch and has a sweet tea.
Tumblr media
Luda Mae Hewitt: She's is gonna tear that guy a new one. Calling her old?? Son of a bitch, where is that persons manners?? She should set her damn sons on him.
Tumblr media
Mayor Buckman: Sorry, Buckman cannot answer this question. He's too busy choking.
Tumblr media
Mental Manny / Manual Dyer: Manny loves to correct people. He's got the biggest smile on his face as he goes oh you're mistaken- this is my beautiful partner. A little young, sure, but we sure don't mind~ Oh sweetheart, I think we're going be late for our dinner reservations. Shall we?
Tumblr media
Peepaw Michael Myers: Like Jed he struggles to give a shit. Who cares??? He knows that he's not your grandfather and you know he's not your grandfather- that's all that matters. He doesn't care... but he does enjoy giving you a big kiss, with tongue, later when the guy sees you both again. He's a gremlin.
Tumblr media
Norman Nordstrom: ... what? Norman is pissed at this idea, he hates it. He feels like a digusting predator (*cough* which he is, though not because you like him ^^) and it hits close to home. He's going to need you to set it straight.
Tumblr media
Otis B. Driftwood: "... Ha! Okay, pal, check this out." He'll say, then turn around and basically make out with you right there in front of the guy. Otis is not amused at the poor insinuation and takes it out with lewd efficiency.
Tumblr media
Pamela Voorhees: Again- not amused. As far as she's concerned, this total stranger has no business making disgusting insinuations about the two of you, anyway. So she'll ruthlessly take them down a notch with her words- and sweet smile.
Tumblr media
Sheriff Hoyt / Charlie Hewitt Jr: "... you think you're funny? No I ain't their fucken grandpa. Didn't your bitch momma ever teach you to mind your business? Oh don't you worry, I can do it for her." Just- my friend- just keep him from taking out the damn shot gun.
Tumblr media
Stuart Lloyd: "... oh... uh... n-no, actually- " Stuart forces himself to stutter through a quick explanation- but he wants to crawl into a whole and die (:
Tumblr media
Taxidermist / Walter Harris: Gets the nervous giggles 😅😅😅 Doesn't correct them.
Tumblr media
Winslow Foxworth Coltrane: Annnnd Foxy loves it XD He was already one kinky mother fucker- you can use this as foreplay. Let him smack your ass while they're still looking but call you 'Hon' or 'Sweetie'- he finds it funny and hot in equal measures.

Floyd X Male!Country! Pop! Troll
Tumblr media
After coming back from the dead (a frightening experience to be honest,) while resting in Rhonda on the way to Pop Village, something sparkled in Floyd's peripheral vision. Glancing down, he looked at the ring on his hand. He smiled softly, thinking of the one who gave it to him.
"Woah, bro! That's some nice drip! Where'd you get it from?" Clay asked, flopping down next to the magenta haired Troll, catching the rest of the group's attention.
"I got it from someone special." Everyone ooh'ed seeing his light purple blush cover his cheeks and ears.Noticing where they were, he suddenly got a burst of energy. "Wait! We need to make a stop." Tiny Diamond yelped, as Floyd took a hard turn towards Lonesome Flats, aka the home of the Country Trolls.
As soon as they arrived at the entrance of Lonesome Flats, Floyd hopped out of Rhonda towards Delta Dawn's office, ignoring the calls of his brothers to slow down and wait.
He was actually stopped by the Sheriff herself, demanding to know where in the seven hells he'd been.
Floyd cut her off her, looking worried. "Where's (Y/N)?"
The Mayor raised a perfect eyebrow before gesturing to an (h/c) male Troll, wearing a flannel around his waist, blue jeans, and a big white hat resting next him who was sitting under a nearby tree, eyes focused on the journal in his lap, headphones over his ears, a grin on his lips.
Floyd smiled before walking over to the mysterious Troll. He sat next across from them, and took tapped his shoulder.
The Troll smiled looking up before freezing, eyes wide. He slowly took his headphones off, still wide eyed.
"Hey, beau."
"SUGARCUBE!" The other troll screamed, tackling Floyd into a great big hug, into the sun, before setting Floyd down, and moving quickly as he searched him for any injuries, while the sensitive Troll laughed, letting him fret over him.
"What is happening?" John Dory, asked the question they were all wondering.
Delta laughed softly, shaking her head, watching the two before turning to the group to talk to Poppy and Branch.
"(Y/N)...(Y/N)? Beau! I'm okay.....now. My brothers saved me." Floyd gestured to the group, holding (Y/N)'s hand, and leading him over to the others.
"Guys, this is (Y/N)....my fiance." Floyd smiled as (Y/N) waved shyly. For such an energetic Troll, he was still pretty shy.
"Your fiance?!" Everyone gasped looking at (Y/N), who upon closer inspection, was wearing a ring matching Floyd's.
"Yep! Now let me see if I remember whose who..."
----------------------------LINEBREAK------------------------------------
You and Floyd have been friends since he'd stumbled into Lonesome Flats.
You are the town's architect, and try to find new ways to make the town safe and functional for everyone, while leaving space for the town's weekly square dancing.
You are the mix of a country troll (Mama) and a pop Troll (Daddy) and strangely enough are one of the shyest Trolls in Lonesome Flats but everyone knows you and is super kind.
Lonesome Flats is the type of place where everyone knows everyone, so....
Floyd calls you Beau as a nickname bc your daddy ;) and you call him Sugarcube bc this dude has a serious sweet tooth and is incredibly sensitive.

Woe out the Storm (13) - Here comes the Thunder
Tumblr media
Wednesday Addams x female Reader
Summary: It took some time, but eventually you came to realize only Wednesday Addams could look at the raging storm of chaos and destruction and make a home out of it. Only she could listen to the cacophony of the roaring thunder and hear a melody.
Story warnings: Wednesday Addams, violence, slow burn
Story Masterlist / First part / Previous part / Next part
Word count: 3.6k
-Storms are comin', better run for cover. Here comes, here comes the thunder-
Tyler Galpin was the monster, the Hyde, the one who murdered Rowan and hurt Eugene. You were pissed, but you were nowhere near as pissed as Wednesday.
“I should have known it. His wounds weren’t nearly as serious as they should have been, I thought he got lucky, but he wounded himself,” she began pacing back and forth, the two of you still in front of the hospital.
“We need to go,” you told her, as subtly as you could pointing toward the hospital where Weems and the sheriff were coming out. “We can’t trust either of them now. H won’t turn his own son in and Weems…” you weren’t ready to say it just yet.
“Has been obstructing us since the start,” Wednesday said it for you as the two of you began walking away. You’d head straight for Nevermore, there wasn’t anywhere else you could go to, really.
“Right, let’s see, we know Hyde lays dormant, so there should be some genetics involved there. Galpin senior is a normie, but do we know anything about Tyler’s mom?” you asked, it was very rare for someone to just randomly develop an ability. It happened, but usually not with the kinds of abilities that involved transforming or shifting.
Wednesday shook her head. “No, and you’re not going to the archive to check,” ah, so she was still worried about what happened to you when you went to mayor’s office building.
“Maybe sneak into his house? See if we can find any medical records? Any history with Nevermore?” you gave in, it was adorable how protective she was.
“We can send Thing,” before you could even raise the question of his health she beat you to it. “He’s fine now,” she assured you.
“Okay, we got a plan then,” you nodded. Thing really was your best option here, even if you wished he could rest for at least a while longer. “Why would he turn on Laurel though?” you wondered.
“I’m not sure, I’m confident Kinbott is Laurel,” she slowed down a bit, as if something caught her attention at that very moment. “No, it’s not Kinbott,” Wednesday completely stopped.
You stopped as well, though a few steps ahead of her, and raised an eyebrow, silently asking her to continue.
“I thought it was her because of the flowers she left in Eugene’s room, they were the same flowers Enid and I saw in Laurel’s room, but the photos someone took of me mean that someone would have to be at Nevermore,” Wednesday explained, and you could see the frustration on her face at both her guesses being wrong.
“And since Tyler is the Hyde, the master has to be at Nevermore,” you groaned in frustration, you had no idea who it could be. “Unless it’s someone else, like the one that attacked me,” why was this so complicated?
“I don’t think it’s that one. The raijin, I mean,” Wednesday said and you halted completed.
“Raijin? The raijin? Japanese ‘lightning god’ raijin?” Wednesday just nodded at that. Well, that explained a lot of things, the pressure you felt, the difference in your level, the overwhelming presence. You weren’t dealing with a beast, you were dealing with a damn god of lightning. “Well, we better hope that guy doesn’t show up, because all that talk about not dying goes out the window in that case,” you just said it. There was absolutely nothing you could do, even if you shifted you felt like you’d be powerless against raijin.
“I know, I saw a vision of Diego, the raiju Goody had a bond with, fighting him. You can’t fight him,” you could hear the hints of panic in her voice. Wednesday knew, even better than you did, from the looks of it, just how strong the raijin was. And it pretty much confirmed you were attacked by someone who’s been alive for centuries.
You closed the distance between you two and took hold of her hand. When she squeezed your hand in return you leaned down, resting your forehead against her left shoulder. “I’m not going to let you deal with this alone, if that’s what you were going to suggest,” you could hear the sharp, though barely audible, gasp. “I’m on your side no matter what,” you let red sparks surround the two of you, completely safe for Wednesday. And in the midst of all that she raised her other arm and placed it on your back, her fingers digging into your back through your shirt.
“Don’t die for me,” she whispered, so softly you almost wondered if you heard it right.
You told her you wouldn’t die, but given the situation, it seemed more like wishful thinking than anything else now. “We’ll cross that bridge when we get there,” you couldn’t say anything else, you could just hope it wouldn’t get to that point.
And if it did… Well, there was no point in thinking about that right now.
You had no idea how long the two of you stayed like that, in the middle of the road between Nevermore and Jericho, not caring one bit about who could see you. You both just committed the moment to your memories, cherishing the feelings you weren’t quite ready to talk about just yet, but you were feeling them nonetheless, perhaps even more intensely than you would if you were to put them into words.
It wasn’t a generational bond. This ran deeper, this was entirely personal, and it brought out a side of each of you that you didn’t even realize existed. The more emotional side of Wednesday, and a side of you that wasn’t afraid of your lightning hurting someone.
~X~
For whatever reason you chose to stay in the quad, saying something about giving Wednesday some space. Considering how emotional she got less than half an hour ago she was more than willing to accept that. When she came into her room, she realized exactly why you gave her space.
Wednesday stopped when she saw Enid there, unpacking and it somehow made a heavy weight she was feeling since Enid left disappear. She could admit that she preferred to stick to certain habits, and you and Enid living with her became a part of her daily routine, so to have Enid back, from the looks of it, made her feel like things were going back to how they should be.
“Hey,” Enid greeted her.
“You’re back,” Wednesday wasn’t sure what else to say.
“I’m gone for a few days, the place gets trashed, and Thing almost dies. Someone’s gotta look out for you two and Y/N can’t do it alone,” Enid stopped unpacking and walked around her bed to get closer to Wednesday.
Like getting emotional with you wasn’t already enough. Wednesday could feel emotions clawing their way out of her body against her will, so she changed the subject. “What happened to rooming with Yoko?”
“Yoko’s great. I just decided I needed a few more boundaries,” Enid was already pulling the tape out.
Wednesday looked away. “Skip the tape.”
“Don’t tell me Wednesday Addams is mellowing out,” Enid dared to tease her.
“Never. More like evolving,” she retorted right away, once again meeting Enid’s eyes.
“Well, one inch of duct tape at a time,” the pastel werewolf smiled, not as brightly, but just as genuinely as Wednesday was used to seeing.
“Why the sudden change of heart?” she couldn’t help but ask.
“Because we work. We shouldn’t, but we do. It’s like some sort of weird friendship anomaly. Everything you said about me is true, but I don’t apologize for it, not anymore. It’s just who I am,” Enid told her, confident and relaxed.
“Thing said he missed you,” it was true, it was also the way to express a part of what she felt without saying it entirely.
“I missed him too,” Enid replied and Wednesday could feel the unspoken words.
“I,” she paused, cursing herself for how soft she had gotten since coming here, how soft Enid and especially you made her. “missed you too.”
Enid remained too stunned to respond and Wednesday took that opportunity to step away from the conversation.
~X~
The plan was set in motion. Enid, who came back and had a much-needed conversation with Wednesday, that you chose to give them privacy for, would make sure to cover your and Wednesday’s absence from your room. Bianca would use her siren song on Tyler, Xavier would offer his shed as the place to bring Tyler to, and Ajax, Yoko, Divina and Kent would be the back-up.
Of course, if anything went horribly wrong you’d be the first line of defense and the one who’d fight the Hyde, even if Wednesday wasn’t too thrilled about that part of the plan.
You watched as Bianca put Tyler to sleep. This was the extent of her siren song. It wouldn’t be helpful for the interrogation; she couldn’t make someone tell the truth. That was the issue with her ability, she could make someone believe something, but in doing so she influenced them. Meaning that she’d influence Tyler into believing he was the Hyde instead of pulling the truth out of him. You stood at the back of Xavier’s shed, behind Tyler, and far enough that he couldn’t realize you were there. If he thought he could fight his way out of this he was sorely mistaken.
Yet, as Bianca woke him up, he immediately put on an act, pretending he was confused and afraid as Wednesday tased him.
The yells of disapproval from everyone else annoyed you. Tyler killed people, he did it in a brutal, painful way, he felt them die. Getting tased was the good outcome for him. But one by one, the Nightshades left Xavier’s shed, with Bianca trying to get Wednesday to go to Weems.
“Wait, wait please! Don’t leave me here with her, I’m begging you!” Tyler cried and whined, knowing that Wednesday wouldn’t stop. But, Bianca left, just like everyone else, leaving only you, Wednesday and tied up Tyler in the shed.
“Wednesday, please! I’m not the monster! And even if I was you’re alone now!” he tried, he bargained, he wasn’t aware of the full circumstances he was in.
“Not quite. Trust me, I’m more than enough to handle you,” you spoke and he froze as he realized you were there as well. “You didn’t think I’d leave her here alone with you, did you Galpin?” you came up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, zapping him lightly, not any harder than Wednesday’s taser, but he definitely felt it. “Talk,” you demanded.
“I have nothing to say! I’m innocent!” he cried out.
“We know you’re not,” Wednesday stood next to you. “What is Laurel Gates using you for?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you had to give it to him, he was good at hiding who he really was. You were almost tempted to believe him.
“Tyler, the body parts in the basement of the Gates mansion, what are they for?” she wasn’t giving up.
“Wednesday, please,” but he just kept begging, like a broken record.
“Who is Laurel Gates, Galpin? Come on now, either transform or talk, but don’t make this harder than it needs to be,” your eyes turned red and you released a strong burst of lightning around you, though you wouldn’t hit him with it unless he fought back he didn’t know that.
But he just kept whining, crying and begging for mercy and it wasn’t his crying that got you to pull Wednesday back. It was much simpler than that. “He’s not going to talk,” and you could see it in Wednesday’s eyes that she figured it out as well.
Not that it mattered, even considering the fact that Tyler was no longer tased or tortured in any other way, the police, let by Tyler’s father, came in and prevented any chance of Tyler talking.
You were ready to be taken away, but the police ignored you, courtesy of Weems trading in the information of Tyler’s abduction and location for your freedom. You glared at the woman as the police took Wednesday away. She wanted to avoid you attacking someone at the station, she could see the way you felt about Wednesday, and she wasn’t risking those feelings causing you to shift.
~X~
Wednesday was seething. Tyler was getting away with it and now he was gloating. Telling her about his victims, how their fear was delicious. And then, as if to make sure she completely understood the situation she was in, he leaned toward her, pulling her closer by the collar of her jacket.
“You have no idea what’s coming. And your raiju? That beast that you like? I’ll make sure to bring you her head,” he promised to hurt you, he promised to kill you and bring remains to Wednesday and the rage within her reached a boiling point as she seethed while staring at his retreating back. It was as if he really was innocent, that’s how he was behaving and Wednesday pushed the doors open and briskly walked outside. She needed to get away from him, otherwise she’d make her situation even worse than it already was.
When she stepped outside the police station she saw you sitting on the stairs, clearly you zapped from Nevermore to the station and Wednesday couldn’t help but feel her heart hammering nails against her chest.
You heard her coming out and got up right away. You looked concerned, worried about Wednesday and she just took a deep breath. Her time at Nevermore was more than likely over.
~X~
“Expelled?! You expelled her?!” you yelled, lightning bursting all around you and damaging Weems’ table where you were gripping it.
“Calm down Y/N. That’s the quid pro quo for sheriff Galpin not pressing kidnapping charges,” she explained, only fueling your rage even further.
“So, expel me too! I was just as involved!” why was Wednesday expelled why you got to stay?
Weems stood up, anger radiating from her in a way you never saw up until that point. And it was somehow fitting for her.
“You know as well as I do that I can’t expel you. Setting a raiju free would only tarnish Nevermore’s reputation,” she said it in a tone so low you nearly stopped glaring at her. Weems was imposing, but she was never intimidating like right now.
You didn’t back away though. “We’ll see how long you can stick to that,” you promised and blasted the doors open with your lightning.
~X~
Weems wasn’t the only one you were going to confront, but before you could deal with Tyler the only remaining way you could think off, Bianca and her Nightshades came up to you.
“I’m sorry we got Wednesday expelled, it wasn’t our intention,” you would let it go, you wouldn’t react to her words. “We just couldn’t let you torture him,” you couldn’t walk away from that. You turned around and walked up to Bianca.
“Bullshit! He murdered people!” you exclaimed, your anger making your eyes turn red and subsequently making Bianca and others step back.
“You and Wednesday tortured him!” Bianca snapped back, always the boldest of them all.
“And any one of us would have gone through much worse if we were the monster,” you reminded her that was how it worked, how it was for the outcasts.
“Y/N,” Wednesday calling your name calmed you down and your eyes went back to normal, her voice, her arrival put a stop to the argument you had with the Nightshades.
You turned around and saw her coming down the stairs. She really was leaving. “Wednesday,” you clenched your fist, feeling powerless to do anything about this.
“This isn’t over, I need you to stay alive, don’t pick unnecessary fights,” she stopped right in front of you, almost as if she was going to take hold of your hand, but changed her mind at the last moment.
You nodded. “I got this, and I’ll stay in touch with you, I promise,” you told her, which prompted her to slip a piece of paper into your hand.
“My address, if you send letters, or if you want to visit,” she said and you nodded once again, grasping her hand before she could pull it away.
“Be careful, especially until you get out of this town,” you rubbed circles into the back of her hand, much like you did the night Thing was stabbed.
Wednesday nodded, only pulling away from you when Bianca chose to speak up, to apologize for getting her expelled.
~X~
It’s only been hours since Wednesday left and you still weren’t willing to fully accept it.
It was the irony at its best. Because here you were, doing the exact thing Wednesday did when you left the room. You were laying on her bed, just staring at the ceiling. You should have been expelled as well, you should have went with her, you shouldn’t have just accepted her leaving. Now you were stuck in the remnants of her presence. Her scent, her half of the window and her part of the room, void of any color. If you concentrated enough you could almost hear her cello, you could hear Thing’s insistent tapping.
You could feel him jumping on your shoulder and pulling your collar.
Wait? What?
You sat up so abruptly Thing nearly tumbled off the bed. “Thing? What happened?” him being here wasn’t a good sign, no matter how nice it was to see him.
He began frantically signing and you tried to understand him, but you couldn’t follow.
“Wed-Wednesday is- Wednesday is what?!” you were getting frustrated, and so was Thing, as he began signing even faster, fumbling over words and making it impossible for you to figure it out. “Slow down! It’s terrible when you stutter!”
He gave up on signing and jumped down, running to your table. You followed him as he grabbed a pen and tried to write, but he didn’t have a piece of paper. Frustrated, he began tapping the morse code with the pen.
“Wednesday is in danger!” your eyes widened when you finally understood what he was saying. “Tyler and Thornhill took her! To Crackstone’s crypt!” you grabbed your phone as Thing slumped down onto the table, relieved that you got the message. You immediately called Enid, not caring one bit that she was with Ajax.
“Damn it, Enid, pick up!” but she wasn’t picking up as you took the knives you would hopefully stab deep into Tyler and Thornhill, Laurel, whatever her name was. You quickly called Ajax instead and nearly began yelling when he picked up. “Put Enid on the phone, now,” you demanded.
“She’s talking to Eugene,” he tried to tell you.
“Now Ajax!” you didn’t have time for this.
“Okay, okay, you’re on speaker!” you heard him telling Enid it was you.
“Y/N? Eugene told me Thornhill is Laurel!” Enid exclaimed.
“I know, she took Wednesday! I’ll take Thing to Poe’s statue, he’ll explain about Nightshades, take Ajax with you, bye!” you hung up before Enid could say anything and grabbed Thin as you ran and, much like a few nights ago, jumped off the balcony. Only this time you didn’t need to catch anyone, you just held Thing close to you and slowed down your fall enough to land without any injuries.
“I’ll go and get her, I promise,” you assured him as you ran toward the statue.
Thing just tapped that he knew against your palm.
You left him at the statue and threw your knife, zapping toward the crypt. The lake? It didn’t matter. You threw your knife right across it, zapping and catching it and throwing it again, not once looking at the water beneath you. It didn’t matter, the danger, the fear of water, all you knew was that Wednesday was stuck with a revenge driven lunatic and her pet monster that enjoyed slaughtering people.
~X~
The one person that ever made Wednesday feel fear stood in front of her, revived because of her blood and Laurel’s ritual. And he even thought she was Goody. Not that it mattered, he had used his telekinesis to keep her from moving.
Hypocrite, using outcast abilities while trying to wipe them out.
“Goody Addams, you will suffer the same fate you bequeathed me!” he promised as he approached her.
Wednesday glared at him as she tried to break free, but it was even stronger than Rowan’s telekinesis. She couldn’t do anything. She was powerless as he pulled out a knife. The flames flickered, and the glint of the blade made her more than aware of how this would end. She was alone, and she had no way to defend herself.
Doors burst open behind her and the moment of surprise cost Crackstone his chance to stab Wednesday, a knife passed right by Wednesday and she felt arms wrapping around her waist as she was pulled to the side and away from the resurrected man.
“Raiju, I see you found a new one, Goody Addams,” Crackstone growled as he recognized the ability you had.
“Hands off my Addams,” you… just had to… Didn’t you? Even if the threatening tone of your voice made Wednesday a bit more forgiving of what you said.
A/N: Raiju to the rescue! No mortal wounds for Wednesday, yet. Honestly, I feel like the middle of the chapter is a bit bare, so I might go back and add some more scenes, but as it is, I’m okay with this. Do tell me what you think about the chapter. Is the middle bare, or is it enough given the fact that I’m writing slightly altered canon and you could just go and watch the show instead of reading about it.

Stardew Valley x SVSSS AU where Shen Yuan inherits a farm from a relative and decides that maybe the country air would help his poor health. While there he hires a farmhand to help him named Binghe, who looks eerily similar to the Binghe of the terrible webnovel he read before coming there. In truth, it's actually a transmigrated Bingge hiding his identity so he could have his own nice shizun! But what's this? The local sheriff, Liu Qingge, isn't a big fan of Bingge and has been suspicious of him for months.
Is Shen Jiu the local lawyer that everyone hates because You Can't Trust Lawyers Period but everyone will still go to him if they have any sort of legal help (even if it's just neighborly disputes over where the fence goes on the boundary lines and doesn't exactly warrant a lawyer to step in). Then they complain about Shen Jiu's rates ("ripping off people! He doesn't do any real work around here.") and cast disdain upon his city-style fashion and mannerism.
Yet somehow everyone still likes Mayor Yue Qingyuan who graduated in a fancy city ("wow, I hope my son will be as smart as you, mister mayor!").
Shen Yuan consults lawyer Shen Jiu on a couple matters about labor contracts and tax law. His first taste of the townsfolk is an... interesting one.

Lipstick Stains - Pt. 10
previous chapter | next chapter | series page
Larissa Weems x fem!reader
summary: Larissa gets a visit from an old "friend". (cw: alcohol, self-doubt)
words: ~2.3k | ao3 link in title
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Larissa took a deep breath and checked her watch. Just a few more minutes and then she could lock her office door, kick off her heels, pour herself a glass of wine and-
“My dear Larissa.” Morticia’s smooth, deep voice echoed throughout Larissa’s office as the dark-haired woman threw open the door and strode over to the desk, perching herself on the edge of it as if she belonged there.
Larissa’s nostrils flared as she took in the familiar, self-assured way that Morticia interacted with her. How dare this woman barge into her office unannounced, practically claiming the space as her own? Steeling her nerves and plastering a fake smile on her face, she met the brunette’s piercing gaze.
“Morticia, how lovely that you’ve come to see me. Pray tell, to what do I owe the pleasure?”
Morticia leaned towards Larissa, her cleavage spilling out of her tight black dress - Larissa’s gaze flitted about the room as she tried not to let her discomfort show, simultaneously trying not to gawk at the overt display of sexuality. It appeared that Morticia was still under the impression that she could use the same tricks on her that she’d used whilst they were still in school.
“I need your help - Gomez needs your help. Perhaps you could put in a good word with the mayor? Lord knows Sheriff Galpin won’t listen to reason. You know my dear Gomez is innocent.”
“Do I?” Larissa scoffed, earning herself a reproachful glare from Morticia. “Your family’s affairs are, quite frankly, none of my concern, and I’m certain you can handle this on your own. Now if you’ll-”
The principal was interrupted by the ringing of her cell phone. Checking the display, she couldn’t help but smile softly when she read your name, and she picked up without thinking twice.
“Hello, darling.”
“Hi,” you replied - your voice was a little shaky and Larissa furrowed her brow, suddenly concerned.
“Is everything alright?”
There was a brief silence that followed and Larissa’s stomach churned - just as she was about to ask again, you answered, sounding a little… off.
“Yeah, everything’s fine… I just wanted to hear your voice. I hope today went well?”
Larissa’s attention was pulled from the conversation by Morticia, who shifted impatiently on the desk, and Larissa stiffened, annoyance bubbling up inside of her.
“That’s very kind of you,” she replied carefully. “I actually-”
“Larissa,” Morticia teased, enunciating every syllable of her name. “Do you have a lover you haven’t told me about?” She kept her voice low as she tried to get a rise out of the blonde. Larissa’s face hardened as she glared at her former roommate.
“I am in an important meeting just now, I’ll call you back later, alright?” Larissa told you. She felt awful blowing you off like this, but she would explain later - right now, she needed to get Morticia out of her office.
Another long period of silence followed, after which she heard a faint and hoarse “okay”.
Larissa hung up, her heart sinking as she wished more than anything to be with you - rather than having her old roommate, her former flame, perched before her on her desk, ready to pounce.
As if on cue, Morticia leaned in, her eyes sparkling mischievously. “So how is your love life these days?”
“That is none of your concern,” Larissa replied coldly. Morticia gave her a pitying look, pouting slightly and placing her hand on Larissa’s - the blonde pulled away as if she’d been burned.
“You’ve always had a knack for giving your heart to the wrong people…”
Larissa felt as though she’d been doused with a bucket of ice water. The irony of her former roommate’s words was not lost on her, and she felt her lip twitch in anger and disgust.
“You are no longer welcome in my office,” she hissed, standing and leaning over her desk. Morticia leaned in, too, their faces inches apart, Morticia’s expression all pity and faux-sympathy - it made Larissa’s blood boil, her heart pounding erratically.
Finally, Morticia pulled back, a satisfied smirk stretching across her face. “It’s not healthy to hold onto so much bitterness, darling,” she said, her voice low and seductive - her words like a slap across the face to Larissa. “I would hate to see my dearest friend grow cynical and resentful with age…”
“Get. Out.”
With a raised eyebrow and a shrug of her shoulders, Morticia headed for the door, floating out of the office with an elegance and grace that only she could possess. “I’m only looking out for you,” she purred as she shut the door behind herself.
Larissa let out a frustrated growl, her pulse hammering in her ears. Slumping back in her chair, she rested her head in her hands - she realized that she was shaking, and she tried to take a steadying breath.
Morticia’s words echoed loudly in her head and, now that Morticia was gone, self-doubt was allowing itself free reign, bouncing off the walls of her mind.
“I would hate to see my dear friend grow cynical and resentful with age.”
Had she grown cynical and resentful? Was she, perhaps, just a sad, bitter woman, rapidly approaching middle age, with nothing to show for it? Sure, she had her career - a career which, despite her love for her work, was causing her more stress by the day. But aside from that? She wasn’t married, she didn’t have children, she wasn’t on good terms with her family, she didn’t even really have many friends (true friends). She was, on almost all counts, deeply lonely.
What she did have was you - and you’d made her feel, for the first time in years, as though she could be happy and fulfilled and loved. But you were so young - you had your whole life ahead of you. And Larissa, well, Larissa was tired.
Larissa’s phone lay face up on her desk, taunting her. Her heart was aching, screaming at her to call you, desperate to hear your voice. But fear was seeping into her bones, and she knew she couldn’t call you without breaking down completely - and that wasn’t fair to you.
“You’ve always had a knack for giving your heart to the wrong people.”
Morticia was wrong about this one, Larissa was certain of it - she had never felt so safe as when she’d given her heart to you. But perhaps you were the one who’d given your heart to the wrong person. Perhaps you deserved better than a bitter workaholic who doesn’t know how to love. Perhaps you deserved better than to spend your weekends comforting an emotionally unstable old woman who was weighed down by a past that felt too heavy to bear.
And so Larissa flipped her phone to silent mode and poured herself a glass of wine - and another, and then another, until the bottle was empty and her eyelids were beginning to get weighed down with sleep. She allowed herself to slump forward onto her desk, her eyes falling shut as her head spun with the effects of the alcohol.
~~~
Larissa woke to a sharp pain radiating from her left shoulder. She frowned, her eyes still heavy with sleep - was it just her, or was her pillow a whole lot harder than it should’ve been? Opening her eyes, it suddenly clicked for her - she’d fallen asleep at her desk.
The principal felt deep regret when she slowly straightened up - her back ached, sharp pains radiated from her shoulder up to her neck, her head was throbbing. She stretched her arms into the air, whimpering at the stiffness in her muscles, before looking at her watch to check the time. It was shortly before noon - Larissa’s heart dropped, and she was grateful that it was a Sunday and she hadn’t slept through any meetings.
Turning her phone over, Larissa felt bile rise in her throat at the notifications from you - two missed calls from this morning and a handful of texts.
Y/N [8:23 pm]: Hey <3 how was your meeting? Y/N [9:47 pm]: Are you okay? Y/N [11:02 pm]: I’m worried about you…  Y/N [11:02 pm]: I hope you manage to get some sleep :(
Y/N [8:41 am]: Good morning, I hope you slept well! Y/N [9:56 am]: Larissa?? Are you still sleeping?
Larissa’s phone screen went black and she caught sight of her reflection - she looked like absolute shit. Her mascara was smudged and flaky, her lipstick faded and uneven, her hair disheveled, her dress wrinkled. She reeked of wine, and she winced as her gaze traveled to the empty bottle beside her. A shower was definitely first on the day’s agenda… right after calling you back.
Larissa felt her throat constrict as she clicked on your contact and lifted her phone to her ear, waiting for you to answer. It only took a few seconds, but those seconds felt like an eternity to the principal, who was wracked with indescribable guilt.
“Larissa! Are you okay? Did you just wake up?” Your tone was laced with worry and it made Larissa’s stomach twist uncomfortably, knowing that she was the cause.
It took her a moment to find her voice and, when she did, it was hoarse and gravelly. “I’m fine, darling,” she lied. “I’m sorry for not calling you back last night.”
“You did call me back,” you replied slowly - Larissa could hear the frown in your voice. “Do you not remember?”
“Oh, I- uh-” Larissa closed her eyes, her brows knitting together as she thought back to last night.
“Riss, are you okay? I was starting to worry… how did your meeting go?”
“‘Mm fine. ‘S good, I kicked M-morticia out of my office.”
“Are you drunk?”“A little.”
“I’m coming over.”
“No! Please, ‘m fine. Please, you don’t have to!”
“Please, let me help you. I really don’t mind I-”
“I’ll call you in the m-morning, darling, p-promise.”
Larissa swallowed thickly. “I remember,” she whispered hoarsely. Her throat was suddenly so dry that she could hardly force the words out. “I’m sorry.”
“I’m really worried about you,” you said quietly, your voice subdued.
“I… I know.”
“Can I see you today?”
“I’ll come over when I’ve showered?”
“Yeah, okay.”
With a strained goodbye, Larissa made her way into her quarters, taking longer than necessary to shower as she allowed the steaming water to soothe her aching muscles and wash the tears off her cheeks.
Two hours later, she was in the car on the way to your apartment - a mixture of guilt for her behavior and love for you tugging her heart in every which direction.
~~~
To say you were worried about Larissa was the understatement of the century. She’d sounded so lost, so small when she’d called you the previous evening, slurring her words, her voice close to tears - and she’d sounded absolutely awful this morning.
You couldn’t help but wonder what had happened. Morticia had been in her office, she’d said. You assumed that Morticia was Wednesday’s mother, Larissa’s old roommate. You didn’t quite think that Larissa would cheat on you - at least you hoped she wouldn’t - but still, it didn’t feel good being kept in the dark about something that clearly still affected Larissa so deeply.
The sound of the doorbell pulled you from your thoughts and you rushed to the door. The sooner you could see Larissa, the sooner everything would be alright.
Opening the door, you launched yourself into the blonde’s arms, catching her off guard. You noticed her wince a little as you wrapped your arms tightly around her, and you pulled back with a frown.
“What’s wrong?”
“As it turns out, my desk isn’t quite as suited to sleeping as I seemed to think last night,” Larissa muttered, rubbing her neck. She looked ethereal as usual, not a hair out of place, though her eyes told a different story - they were tired and dull.
Your stomach felt hollow at the realization that Larissa had fallen asleep, drunk and upset, at her desk, and you ushered her into your apartment and guided her to the larger of the two couches. You left her briefly to hurry to the kitchen, and returned a short while later with a large cup of coffee and two ibuprofen.
Larissa’s eyes widened gratefully, her gaze dropping to her lap as she accepted the coffee and the painkillers. You settled next to her on the couch, waiting patiently as she sipped the warm drink, your hand coming to rest on her thigh.
Finally, she broke the silence. “Darling, I… I’m truly sorry for my behavior. I’m not proud of myself and-” she swallowed, her eyes fluttering shut, “I wish you didn’t have to witness that.”
“Riss… it’s okay to be upset and to… you know, try to deal with it, I guess. I just… I wish you would let me take care of you.”
Larissa could hear the frustration in your tone and she opened her eyes, peering at you blearily through her lashes. “You shouldn’t have to,” she murmured softly.
“But I want to. That’s what partners do.” You scooted closer to Larissa to place a kiss on her cheek - her skin slowly turned pink under your lips.
She nodded, placing her mug on the coffee table and leaning back into your outstretched arms. “I’m not used to that,” she admitted quietly. “I don’t think I’ve ever had that…”
“You do now,” you whispered, craning your head up to place a kiss to the crown of Larissa’s head and pulling her close. “I love you, you know?”
For the first time since she’d entered your apartment, a smile began to tug at the outer corners of Larissa’s lips. “I love you, too,” she whispered back, nuzzling her head into the crook of your neck and allowing her eyes to fall shut.

Dear Hearts and Gentle People 19
Summary: While in Goodneighbor, you find out that Cooper was a famous actor before the war, and ask him to tell you about some of his favorite ones. Much to the amusement to you and Hancock.
Pairings: The Ghoul | Cooper Howard x Female Reader , John Hancock x Female Reader
Warnings! Drinking and Drug Use. Movie references. Fluff and Domestic Fun.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The three of you are drunk as a skunk, high as a kite, and having the time of your life in the old state house that John calls home. You sit curled against the mayor, watching Cooper, who, in his delightful mood, had decided to regale the two of you with movie quotes and scenes that he'd done back before the war. It had started after he'd made a comment about being a better actor than the one they'd been watched on the fuzzy TV screen.
You had laughed and demanded that the ghoul show you a scene or two from the movies that he'd stared in.
Cooper stands across the living room table, a crocodile grin on his face as he quotes one of his films, his accent thick with a southern draw, "You ain't never heard of Wellenbeck prisoner of war camp, West Virginia?"
You shake your head, playing along with the ex-actor, and John snickers beside you, his laugh smokey and rough from the hit of jet he'd just had. Cooper continues, strutting around the room as he tells his story.
"Oh, Major Marquis did more than bust out. Major Marquis had a bright idea. So bright you hafta' wonder why nobody never thought about it before."
He skips over the other dialog, unable to remember half of the other men's lines, and continues. He gives you and John a look under the brim of his hat, "There was a rookie regiment spendin' the overnight in the camp. Forty-seven men... burnt to a crisp. Southern youth, farmers' sons, cream of the crop."
You gasp dramaticly, eyes wide as you clutch your imaginary pearls. Coop had told you a bit about the movie, set sometime just after the first Civil War back in 1877. You wish you could have seen Cooper back then, but this was just as good. The bounty hunter sets the scene, a small pit stop way up in the mountains.
He suddenly switches up, expression becoming a bit feral at the edges as he gives you and John a mean grin. He explains that Major Marquis has them all lined up against the wall after two men died from poisoned coffee. His voice is sarcastic, disbelief coloring it.
"So you finally decided I'm tellin' the truth 'bout bein' the sheriff of Red Rock, huh?"
He steps away from the wall, turning dramatically and stalking forward, hand under his chin as if he is pulling his thoughts together, "John Ruth was one mighty mighty bastard. But the last thing that bastard did before he died was save my goddamn life."
Cooper pauses and points at you, "You didn't. You were sitting there all quiet like when I poured that cup."
He spins on his heel, his duster flapping and his spurs jingling as he paces the room, "Both of you. Just watching me, waiting, waiting for me to drink myself to death. So what was the plan, Joe Cage? I drink the coffee, OB drinks the coffee, and John Ruth drinks the coffee? And you two sit around and laugh while we roll around on the ground, holding our bellies, screaming in pain?"
You and John are hooked after the speech, eyes wide as the two of you watch Cooper stomp across the room, grab a chipped coffee mug, and stalk over to them. You jump when he slams the cup in front of John, a nasty smile on his face.
Cooper pulls out all the stops, reaching for his side arm and aiming it at John, who looks more than a little nervous at having the hand canon pointed at him. The ex-actor mimes pulling back the hammer and then swings the barrel of his gun at the coffee cup, a snarl on his lips as he glares down at you and Hancock.
"Drink it."
Cooper keeps the scene going for several long seconds before breaking character and stepping back, shoving his side arm back in his holster and spreading his arms, a grin on his face, "Well?"
You burst into laughter and clap, snickering at the look of relief on John's face and the self-satisfied one on Cooper’s. The ghoul across from you bows before loping over to the couch and plopping down between you and John. He sits back and lights up a cigarette, smug as can be.
"Told ya, I still had it."
Ps. I own nothing here.

Tyler Galpin x reader part 2
Part 1 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8
"You need to stay away from that Addam's girl." Tyler's dad spoke as he sat across from him, Tyler nodding along to whatever his dad said as he watched Y/n 'apologise' to the mayor's son as she held her hands behind her back swearing and clenching and unclenching her fists as Tyler chuckled.
"I mean it Tyler, Y/n too, she doesn't need more trouble. Look out for her." Tyler nodded seriously at his dad.
"I'll always look out for her." His dad clapped a hand on his shoulder standing and making his way over to Y/n where he placed a hand on her shoulder probably smoothing out whatever Y/n had said in her 'apology' Y/n finally able to leave as she rushed over to Tyler dropping into the chair to him as they both stared at Tyler's dad and the mayor.
"Why am i always the bad guy?" Y/n huffed as she leant her head on Tyler's shoulder feeling him shrug lifting her head so he could wrap his arm around her shoulder almost pulling her into his lap as he tucked her into him.
"You're not to me." Y/n laughed hitting his chest.
"You're so cheesy." Tyler grinned at her as his dad approached taking his hat off and sighing as he pushed back his hair.
"You're one lucky lady Y/n. No charges." Y/n beamed putting out her hand and forcing the sheriff to shake her hand as she thanked him. Looking back at Tyler and winking.
"Told ya, get away with anything thanks to you." The sheriff groaned, waving his hands wanting them both to leave him alone as he held his head still stumped and struggling with the 'bear' attacks that had been plaguing the town the last few months, it had started off as one but now it was up to three and he worried it would keep growing. Y/n stood grabbing Tyler's hand pulling him along hiding her face as she passed the mayor and his son sure she wouldn't be able to hide the expression of joy from them if she didn't, Tyler muffling a laugh as he followed behind her enjoying how her hand felt in his. The two exited the police station hand in hand as Y/n pulled Tyler towards the coffee shop, changing so their fingers intwined and her nails tapped against the back of his hand making the hair on his arks stand up, Y/n wrapping her arm around Tyler's pressing his arm into her chest as she leaned into him. Tyler smiled down at her feeling how much she leant into him since she made him slightly hunch over to walk with her, his eyes suddenly leavings hers as Miss Thornhill walked by smiling at the pair. Y/n glaring at her until she was out of sight pulling Tyler to stop walking as she let go of him and folded her arms.
"Is she still trying to be your new mummy?" Tyler's eyes darkened slightly but Y/n paid no attention as she rolled her eyes and leaned on her hip waiting for an answer from him.
"It's not like that Y/n, she just likes that i remember her order like everyone else." Tyler's voice more defensive than he normally would be but Y/n ignored it in favour of groaning dramatically and throwing her arms over his shoulders and leaning back until he wrapped his around her waist so she wouldn't fall.
"You're so oblivious, she's such a cougar." Tyler laughed as Y/n let go of his shoulders completely dead weighting in his arms letting him start walking as she walked backwards with him pretending to be dead in his arms before standing properly and turning so he could wrap his arm back around her.
"She's not flirting with me." Y/n elbowed him gently as he made up another excuse for his weird relationship with the Nevermore teacher, Tyler moving to hold the door open letting Y/n in as she bowed at him in thanks making him grin.
"As long as you don't start ditching me for some cougar who definitely wants to get into your pants." Y/n walked backwards as she wiggled her eyebrows at him, Tyler rolling his eyes and laughing as she moved to flop into a booth laying on her back with only her knees showing as he sat across from her. Moving forward so he leant over the table and could see where she laid facing upwards, her eyes following him as he sat back down but she could only see his legs. Sighing she sat up properly swinging her legs round so she faced him and leant on her hand tapping her nails on the table as she looked around the small shop.
"It's outreach day soon isn't it?" Tyler nodded as he smiled at the other barista placing two drinks in front of them, she was a young girl who Tyler had trained so he could have evenings off occasionally and hang out with Y/n more. Pushing Y/n's hot chocolate towards her as he picked up his coffee and took a sip trying not to wince at the badly made drink, watching Y/n as she absentmindedly took a drink of her hot chocolate before pausing and letting it drip back into the mug. Her tongue swiping over her red tainted lips as she placed the mug back down, Tyler staring at her lips as he did before snapping out of his trance as Y/n spoke.
"You're a terrible teacher." The two laughed as they both pushed their drinks to the side deciding to leave them alone, Tyler sliding out the booth and waiting for Y/n as she slowly climbed out.
"Outreach is next week, dad's already on edge about everything so he's not looking forward to it. I'm gonna have some students working here and i can imagine you'll have loads up at pilgrim world." Y/n groaned thinking about her job, she hated working there but her mum was trying to weasel her way into the mayor's bed and being his secretary meant forcing her daughter to work at his stupid tourist trap. Y/n walked in front of Tyler as he waved goodbye to his coworker, moving to watch up with her as she began to walk home knowing Tyler would always drop her off first.
"I hate working there, i don't know why we celebrate pilgrims as if they weren't sexist pigs who would have accused half of us of being witches." Tyler nodded along as she ranted, he had heard the same conversation over and over each time he brought it up but he enjoyed listening to her moan about her job. As they got closer to her apartment, she had moved out her mum's house when she turned 17 and got the tiny apartment cheap from the lady who owned Uriah's heap as long as she brought her fudge back from pilgrim world. Y/n stood at the door as she finally stopped ranting, facing Tyler as she put her key in opening the door wide enough so they could both walk through.
"Want to come in? I can make some hot chocolates and you can sort out the blankets for movies whilst i have a quick bath?" Tyler tried to keep his mind straight as she spoke, it was a normal night for them but it always flustered him whenever she said it and even more when she would walk through the apartment in towels and little pyjamas. Tyler scratched the back of his neck as he laughed nervously.
"I can't tonight, dad wants me to be back before it's dark because of the bear attacks." Y/n pursed her lips slightly before smiling at Tyler.
"Your loss." Tyler looked down with a smile, pulling Y/n into a hug before saying his goodbyes waiting until Y/n closed the door to turn and begin his own walk home. As he walked a car pulled up in front of him with Miss Thornhill in, her bright red lips smiling wide as she opened the door to let him in, Tyler smiling back at her as he climbed in.
"How's my sweet boy?" She cooed at him, shifting gears as he began telling her all about his day although she didn't listen to anything until Wednesday's name was brought up. Suddenly her questions sharper and more demanding as he tried his hardest to earn her approval.
Y/n stood in pilgrim world, her lips dark red and eyeliner as sharp as a knife her normal clothes swapped out for the long black dress but she refused to wear the bonnet so her hair was down along with big boots and fishnets that showed where she had cut the dress to show her shins slightly. Her eyes following the Nevermore's as they all lined up as her boss explained they would be working in the fudgery, Wednesday asking questions about the old townhouse and the exhibits as Y/n blew a bubble with her gum popping it loudly as her boss glared at her.
"Miss Y/n here will show thou around, head her warnings for she partakes in witchery." Y/n's lip curling as she spoke, her bosses favourite jab at her being that she should be the witch they burn at 2pm, Y/n stepped forward as all the students looked at her trying to contain her eye roll instead closing her eyes sighing deeply and opening them with a friendly smiles forced on her face.
"Good morrow students..." Y/n longed out her words as she watched her boss walk away to tell off another worker, stopping the stupid pilgrim talk as she huffed out leaning back on her hip and folding her arms as she popped her gum again.
"Do whatever you want, i don't want to be here so i doubt you do. Just put the uniforms on, don't swear at customers and try not to piss off the boss lady. She'll make you the burning witch, trust me it's not fun." Y/n checked her nails as she spoke, picking at her cuticle before smiling sweetly at everyone.
"I don't really care, my shift finishes in an hour so just don't blow anything up." Y/n shrugged then turned ready to leave until Wednesday called her name, Y/n turning towards her with an eyebrow raised and a small smile.
"What's up spooky?" Wednesday's lip twitched almost in a smirk as she stepped closer to Y/n her platforms making it so she almost reached Y/n's height.
"I need to get into that exhibit, can you help?" Y/n weighed up her options, tilting her head as she thought before blowing another bubble nodding. The gum popping as she spoke, moving to remove the gum and chuck it onto the ground.
"Sure, might aswell kill some time before i meet Tyler." Wednesday followed her as Y/n began walking towards the exhibit, lifting her dress until Wednesday could see the black ripped shorts underneath and Y/n pulling out a nail file. Leaning down so she could pick the lock as Wednesday watched how quickly she picked the lock until she suddenly stood up looking towards the stocks. Wednesday's eyebrows twitching as she saw the three boys from before pushing Eugene about Y/n already on her way over as she put the nail file in her back pocket and tucked the dress into her belt almost like a pirate would.
"Oi you pricks, get off that little kid." Y/n grabbed the stocks as she watched the brown haired boy try to push it down over him, the other two moving towards her until Wednesday stood in front of them protecting Y/n's back. Y/n throwing the stocks open as Eugene fell out and into the other two boys arms whilst they watched.
"You're so annoying Y/n. We're just having fun." The boy spoke as Y/n slammed the stocks closed almost catching his fingers as he rushed to move them away, the other two egging him on as he circled Y/n but Wednesday had enough stepping forward.
"Do you want a repeat of last time?" Y/n scowled at the other two until they fully backed away from Eugene, Y/n pulling him into her side as she watched Wednesday beat up the boy and lock him in the stocks.
"Dickhead." Y/n whispered as they walked away from him back to the unlocked door where Wednesday now crept in, Y/n looking at her watch before sticking her head in.
"I need to go, be careful and if you need anything me and Tyler will be at the shop. See ya." Y/n ruffled Eugene's hair as she left, ripping off her dress as she got closer to the staff room throwing it into her locker and grabbing her oversized jumper chucking it over her t shirt and shorts. Shoving everything into her bag as she clocked out, clipping her hair away from her face as she made her way towards the coffee shop, passing Wednesday as she got caught and quickly rushing away so she wouldn't be told off aswell.
Xavier looked at the door as Y/n walked in, taking the clip out her hair as she ruffled it back to normal and applied more liptint as she looked around for Tyler, smiling at Xavier as she approached.
"Hey, you're a Nevermore right did you get assigned here?" Y/n leaned against the counter as she spoke to him, she didn't see the point in being rude towards the students as she was used to the same behaviour from her peers. Xavier looked shocked as she spoke to him, not knowing what to say as he was used to the way others treated him remembering how Tyler and his buddies had beat him up and ruined his mural, he went to respond until Tyler arrived Y/n smiling widely at him and moving to lean her chin against his chest and stare up at him.
"Hey, how was work?" Tyler asked as he cast his eyes slightly towards Xavier who glared at him and moved away watching Tyler wrap his arms around Y/n as he smiled down at her.
"It sucked, although Wednesday made it more fun but those assholes came back for round two so she took care of them. Then i escaped to my knight in shining armour who is going to make me the best hot chocolate ever...right?" Tyler laughed as he moved Y/n off him so he could get behind the counter and begin to make her hot chocolate, Y/n moving to sit on the counter as she normally did but this time facing the door her back to Tyler. Xavier picking up cups and plates as he looked at Y/n, he remembered her from last outreach day as she had smacked Tyler around the head in the sheriff's department obviously telling him off but he had never given it much thought until now. Tyler placed her hot chocolate in a take away cup next to her so she wouldn't spill it as he wrapped his arms around her waist dragging her further back and into his chest leaning his chin on her shoulder as they both people watched. Y/n sighing dreamily as she drank the hot chocolate, leaning into Tyler as she complimented his drink making.
"What would i do without you?" She spoke with a smile as he moved from her shoulder to smile down at her as he blushed slightly.
"You'd be lost." Y/n smirked as she continued drinking the amazing drink and closing her eyes relaxing into Tyler as she let the days stress dissipate from her body only opening them as Tyler moved back forcing her to sit up properly again. Apologising as he explained he needed to restock something, Y/n nodding as she hunched over to hold the side of the counter watching Xavier as he came back over.
"Thank you." Y/n raised an eyebrow confused going to ask as Xavier looked at her properly.
"Last year, you defended me." Y/n's eyes flashed with realisation as she smiled and nodded at him, her head snapping to the door as Wednesday entered Xavier moving as he smiled at her. Wednesday looking at Y/n before standing next to her and Xavier.
"Hey Wednesday, can i get you a drink?" Xavier looked like a puppy whose owner just came in as he spoke to Wednesday, Y/n finding it cute how she saw the younger girl try to hide her obvious affection for him.
"I'm actually here for Tyler, and Y/n." She spoke but Y/n could tell she said Tyler's name first purely to torture the poor boy whose smile dropped as he moved away the pair of them, Wednesday dinging the bell as Tyler came rushing out only to slow down as he saw her.
"Oh hey." He said looking at Y/n then back to Wednesday as she pulled out a map, Y/n jumping off the counter as her and Tyler stood on each side of Wednesday.
"I need to know where the old townhouse is." Tyler looked at her oddly before sighing and pointing where it was located.
"Around here, but most people use it to get high and drink my dad has to raid it every few weeks." Y/n moved Tyler's hand slightly to point a little higher, smiling at the pair as she spoke.
"It's there, my ex used to take me there to smoke but we stopped going after a junkie kicked him in the balls." Wednesday felt the slight shift in Tyler as he huffed out a response.
"Yeah and the fact he was an asshole." Y/n rolled her eyes moving to flick his ear as he flinched back returning to his normal self, Wednesday rolling her eyes and moving away from the two thanking them before rushing off. Tyler wrapping his arms around Y/n as she relaxed into him looking up as he leaned down to stare at her.
"Should we go with her?" Tyler shook his head as he grinned down at Y/n, tugging her back towards the counter as she dead weighted allowing him to do whatever he wanted.
"I'm sure she'll be fine, she's pretty scary." Y/n nodded as she finally supported her own weight, allowing Tyler to help her back onto the counter as he moved to help another customer, Y/n thinking it over as she bit her lip before sighing and collecting her bag.
"I'm gonna go after her, i'll text you if we die." Tyler went to go after her but the customer got annoyed, Tyler now stuck behind the counter watching Y/n leave for the woods.
"Don't die!" He shouted back at her, quickly making the drink for the customer and calling out to the other barista and he chucked his apron off running after the two girls. Stopping in the street as Miss Thornhill approached him, his mind going blank as he felt himself leave to the woods and transform.

This Is How It Feels | Part 4
Tumblr media
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
Pairing: Regina Mills x Reader
Warnings: injury
Word Count: 1.7k
The morning air was crisp as you left the cozy embrace of the tavern, your boots clunking lightly on the worn steps. With the weight of your backpack snug against your shoulders, you stepped into Granny's Diner, where the black and white checkered floor gleamed under the morning sun. There, you spotted Henry, engrossed in a thick leather-bound book at the bar counter.
"Hey, Henry!" you called out, a smile gracing your lips as you approached.
Henry glanced up, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Hey, y/n. What brings you out, are you heading out already?
"Uhh…no actually I was gonna just head for a little camping trip in the woods," you replied, gesturing towards her backpack. "What about you?"
"Just needed some fresh air before school," Henry shrugged, his gaze returning to the book. "Sometimes I feel like I'm just in the way around here."
Your heart went out to him, and you slid onto the stool beside him. "I'm sorry to hear that. Wanna talk about what’s going on?"
Henry paused, contemplating his words.  “My family are all kind of like heroes. They are always helping people in town with their troubles. My mom is the mayor and my other mom is the sheriff. My grandmother’s…was…a teacher and my grandfather was a deputy. They like to serve people. I try to help but I always end up getting in the way just stumbling in their shadows.” Henry's expression softened as he looked down at his hot chocolate.
Listening empathetically, you reached for the coffee pitcher and poured yourself a cup, a thoughtful expression on your face. While you get a nasty glare from Granny but you continue on "It sounds like you're struggling to find your own path amidst their legacies."
“My own path?” he looks up at you and you nod while mixing the cream and sugar “yeah, it sounds like you're really grappling with finding your place among your family of heroes. That's completely understandable. I’m sure you feel a bit overwhelmed by their noble professions”
Henry nodded, his gaze fixed on his hot chocolate. "Yeah, exactly."
Henry nods as if that’s the issue then you continue as you slam the sugar container on the counter to get his attention “But here's the thing, you have your own strengths and passions that are unique to YOU. Have you thought about what really lights you up, what makes you feel alive? What makes Henry..well…Henry?"
Henry shrugs and shakes his head, and you give him a sympathetic nod "Maybe you don't see it yet, but I bet you have qualities that make you special in your own way. You don't have to be a carbon copy of your family members to make a difference. Heroism comes in all shapes and sizes, and it's about finding what feels right for you."
Henry hesitated, but your encouragement seemed to embolden him. "I've tried, but..."
“It’s scary but remember, Henry, it's okay to take your time figuring things out. Life's a journey, not a race. Keep exploring, keep learning, and don't be afraid to try new things. You'll find your place in the world, I'm sure of it." you put a hand on his shoulder giving it a light squeeze then offer him a smile.
“Henry” Regina calls out to her son as he quickly looks over “mom! How much did you hear?”
Regina offers a kind smile and “very little. Come on we gotta get you to school” Henry nods, grabbing his bookbag and the book. He walks with Regina to the door then stops to turn around “Hey y/n?”
You look up at him and see him give you a smile “thanks, it means a lot”
You offer him a smile and cheer your mug to him “anytime you need someone to talk to” he laughs and you notice Regina gives you a soft smile then mouths out a thank you as they walk out the diner.
With a sense of contentment, you finished your coffee and left money on the counter, bidding goodbye to Granny as you stepped back into the sunlight.
---
As the afternoon sun dipped lower in the sky, you found yourself deep in the heart of the forest, surrounded by towering trees and the gentle rustle of leaves. Enjoying the hike and watching the birds and animals. You set up camp near a babbling brook, the sound of rushing water lulling you into a state of peace. You decide to take a moment to take some landscape photos and sketch for a bit. Capturing the golden hour of the day as the rays of the sun shine through the ceiling of trees.
But as darkness fell, a sense of unease crept over her. Every snap of a twig sounded like an ominous warning, sending shivers down your spine. You look around for any possible predators. It could just be an opossum or maybe there’s a possibility of it being a bear. Setting your books down you stand grabbing a flashlight to make sure the space around your camp is secured.
Suddenly, a low growl echoed through the forest, freezing you in your tracks. Your heart raced as you fumbled for the flashlight, keeping your cool. If this is a bear trying to get your sights on it first so you can find the best escape plan.
Another noise of a twig snapping and your head turns quickly to the source of the noise. Slowly backing up towards your camp you crouch down to pack up your bag. A shuffle is heard a couple yards away and you point your flashlight over “who’s there!”
There was no response, only the eerie silence of the woods. Your breath caught in your throat as you zip up the bag and then kick dirt into the campfire. You take a cautious step backwards, your senses on high alert.
That’s when you hear it. A loud howling noise is heard followed by what looks like a massive black shadow behind your shoulder. You take off in a full blown sprint. Hurdling over large trunks and ducking low branches as you try to run in the direction of the main road. You hear the growling getting closer and you hid behind a large tree. Taking a moment to breathe as you look around for a branch or maybe some rock formations you can climb to get higher ground. You peek over and see what looks smaller than a bear but bigger than a dog. You have no idea if it was possible for wolves to be located in this region. As far as you know there wasn’t.
Okay, the road should only be about half a mile away. I can make it or atleast get closer to find help.
You take a deep breath and then find your courage and sprint off again. Hearing the growling again behind you but then, disaster struck, your foot gets caught on a hidden root, sending you tumbling to the ground with a sickening thud. Darkness engulfed your vision as your head connected with the forest floor, stars dancing behind your eyelids followed by total darkness.
---
When consciousness returned, you found yourself in unfamiliar surroundings, the soft glow of lamplight casting shadows across the room. Confusion clouded your thoughts until Regina's familiar face came into view, her touch a comforting anchor in your view of confusion. A sudden pain shoots your face “ouch” you wince.
“Sorry” Regina whispers as she softly presses the cotton ball to your head. “Just cleaning the cut”
"Regina?" you murmured, your voice hoarse.
Regina's expression softened with relief. "You're awake. Thank goodness."
"What... what happened?" you ask, struggling to piece together the events that had led them here.
Regina sighed, her voice gentle. "Someone found you unconscious near the woods. You took quite a fall. But don't worry, you're safe now."
You nod as you get the information
Regina offered her a reassuring smile. "Just rest now. You'll be okay. I’m actually almost done here and I can give you a ride to Granny’s…"
"Thank you, Regina.” you offer her a warm smile as you find the strength to sit up on the couch “I appreciate the offer”
As she assured you of your safety, gratitude flooded your senses, mingled with a newfound appreciation for the kindness of others.
As Regina walked you to your room at Granny's, you couldn't help but feel a sense of closeness between you. "Thank you, Regina. I really appreciate all your help tonight."
Regina's gaze softened, her eyes meeting yours with a warmth that sent a flutter through your chest. "Of course, y/n. I'm just glad I was able to find you in time."
You nodded, a small smile tugging at your lips. "Yeah, me too. I don't know what would've happened if you hadn't."
There was a pause, the air between you thick with unspoken words, until Regina spoke again, her voice soft. "Listen, y/n... I just wanted to say... I'm glad you're okay. I don't know what I would've done if something had happened to you."
Her words caught you off guard, and you felt a rush of warmth spread through you at the sincerity in her voice. "I... um, thanks, Regina. That means a lot."
Regina's gaze lingered on you, her expression unreadable, before she cleared her throat and stepped back, breaking the moment. "Well, um... I should let you rest. You've had a long night."
You nodded, though a part of you wished she would stay a little longer. "Yeah, I probably should. Thanks again, Regina. For everything."
With a small smile, Regina turned to leave, but before she did, she glanced back at you over her shoulder. "Get some rest, y/n. And if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
You watched her go, a smile playing at your lips as you settled into bed, the memory of her kindness filling you with a warmth that lingered long after she was gone. Maybe, just maybe, there was something more between you and Regina. And as you drifted off to sleep, you couldn't help but wonder what the future might hold.

Your jaw was clenched as you stared at the building in front of you. The boys all stood behind you, trying to come up with a plan to infiltrate city hall. The only thing on your mind though, was getting your father out and putting Hendricks behind bars where he belonged.
“How do we get in?” Seonghwa asked.
“We could use the side window, like last time.” Yunho answered.
“People would notice us by the time we crawled through.” San said.
“We could wait until Klein steps out and we kidnap him.” Wooyung suggested.
Each of the boys were too preoccupied with trying to find a way in, that they hadn’t noticed you march your way through the front doors. Your adrenaline from the anger was kicking in and you had not movement to stop your legs and think about a plan before going in.
“That would take too long.” Hongjoong shook his head. “Quaid could be gone by then.”
“Angel?”
Your hands pushed the door open, making it slam against a wall. Everyone inside flinched, turning to see you walk further in and towards the back of the building.
“Hey, what's going on?” A worker asked, quickling trying to block your way.
“Out of my way.” You glared, finding Klein’s office and throwing the door open.
“Miss, you can't go in there.” The worker called out, but you had shut the door in his face before he had the chance of walking in.
“Stop her!” Someone shouted on the other side of the door.
However you had moved to turn the key, quickly locking it. Turning on your heel you faced Klein at his desk with Hendricks sitting in front. Hendricks crossed his arms as he took you in, clenching his jaw, while Klein was confused over the whole thing.
“What is the meaning of this!?” Klein sputtered. “Who are you!?”
“Why don't you ask your dear friend Hendricks.” You turned your stare to the sheriff, turning your nose up.
“Serving men well?” Hendricks asked, eyes boring into you.
“Arresting innocents ease your mind?” You sneered back, glaring at the older man.
“Excuse me—” Klein tried to put in.
“This doesn't concern you.” Hendricks scolded the mayor, making you glare harder.
“Don’t speak to him that way.” You shot back.
“Who are you to tell me what to do?” Hendricks stood from the chair, moving into your personal space.
You took a step back, an unsettling feeling falling into your chest from how much the man wanted to intimidate you. It wasn’t that you were trying to get away from him. It was the you wanted room to throw a punch if need be.
Before you could say anything more, something pushed the window behind Klein open harshly. Mingi’s glare was pointed into the room, hands gripping onto the window sill. He quickly lifted himself into the room, moving aside to let all the other boys in.
Klein gasped out and moved away from his desk, trying to get away from the 8 boys who were slowly crawling in. When Hongjoong stepped through, his harsh glare turned to everyone in the room before stopping at you.
“Did you really have to lock the door?” Yeosang asked you, sighing in disappointment.
“Get back!” Hendricks glared, quickly pulling out his gun from his holster.
When the boys all heard the click of it, Yeosang was quick to put a hand out in front of you while the others moved to get closer to your side. You heard Klein gasp as Jongho and Seonghwa pushed him out of the way to reach you. He placed a hand on his chest, looking appalled at the boys.
Hongjoong stood on the other side of the room though, quickly taking out his own pistol aiming it back at Hendricks. “Think you're the only one with a gun?” He asked with a tilt of his head.
You sighed deeply before softly moving Yeosang’s arm down so you could move forward. With the boys all crowded at one side of the room, Hongjoong stood at one corner with Klein at the opposite. Hendricks was still by the chair he had stood from, gun aimed directly at Hongjoong.
Your lips twitched and lips pursed. “This isn't a grudge match.” You glared. “Put your weapons down.” You added, looking between the two men.
“Princess, you're testing my patience.” Hongjoong answered you, only giving you a side glance.
“Put it down, Hongjoong.” You demanded again.
Hongjoong clenched his jaw as his eyeskept going back and forth between you and Hendricks. The man was not lowering his gun which put him on edge. But the strong pointed look you gave him made him click his tongue. He slowly lowered his gun.
“Not a smart move.” Hendricks mocked, flexing his arm as if he was about to shoot again.
The boy all flinched, moving to duck but you were quick to pick something off Klein’s desk and swing it towards Hendrick’s hand. The glass of whiskey hit his wrist making him drop his gun in a grunt.
Hongjoong quickly dove forward to take the weapon from him as everyone else looked around in astonishment. With him now disarmed, Yunho and Jongho both moved forward to restrain Hendricks.
“You shoot, everyone outside those doors come running in.” You calmly tell Hendricks, standing as if you hadn’t just thrown something at him.
“You really think they'd believe some criminals over their sheriff.” He sneered, rubbing at his wrist where glass had cut just a bit.
“They will with the proof of your involvement with Strickland.” You pulled out some envelopes from your pockets, dropping them onto Klein’s desk. The mayor raised his eyebrows, looking over the browning papers with curiosity.
“Look familiar?” You continued.
“What are those stupid papers going to do?” Hendricks shook his head. “Strickland is just a town that helps people.” He rolled his eyes.
“Not with the evidence we have from Quaid's home.” Yeosang put in.
Hendricks glared at the boy, his lips turning up.
“Mayor Klein.” Hongjoong stepped in, leaning over the desk to look at the mayor directly. “Why have you been raising taxes?” He asked.
“To help the people—” The old man sputtered.
“Don't bullshit us.” Mingi threatened, coming to stand behind him.
Klein began to tremble as he had to look up at the outlaw, mouth opening and closing as he tried to come up with an answer. “Quiad told me Strickland would send people down to help reform the city! Make it bigger than Aurora.” He shook his head.
“It was a lie.” Seonghwa said. “They're making drugs to turn people into emotionless people.”
“No, that's not true.” Klein shook his head, looking at all of you bewildered.
“It's in the papers.” You told the man, sliding the envelopes closer for him to read.
The mayor didn’t waste time quickly opening the letters, reading over Quaid and Hendricks handwriting. His face slowly morphed from confusion to frustration as he read over more and more. He threw some down before going over other ones–all reading the same thing.
“Don't listen to them!” Hendricks yelled. “They're outlaws! They took your money.” He grunted when Jongho pulled his hair back, shoving the man down to the floor and onto his knees.
“And where have you been getting yours?” You sneered, turning around to face him. “Those boots look a bit too clean to me.” You said.
“Quaid lied.” Klein spoke to himself.
“They're feeding you lies.” Hendricks tried to defend himself again.
“Hendricks!” Klein snapped. “It's all here! Everything!” The mayor growled. “Even yours. I can't—I can't continue this.” He throw all the papers onto the desk, slamming his hands onto the wood as he looked furious.
“You traitor!” Hendricks growled.
He was quick in shoving Jongho and Yunho off his arms. The two boys grunted as the man’s elbows caught into their noses. Your eyes went wide as you saw the man lunge for you, moving your hands behind you to find something to use as defense. However before he could get to you, San was quick to rush forward and tackle Hendricks to the ground.
The old man had no chance with how much larger San was. He seemed to know what he was doing because the moment he got Hendricks on the ground, his was swinging away at the man’s face. The boys took a few seconds before finally rushing forward to pull San off the man who was starting to bleed profusely.
“San!” You cried out, rushing forward to help him.
You pulled his face to look at you, wiping away the smudges he had on his cheeks. You smiled softly, showing him that you appreciated his help. Turning back towards the old sheriff on the ground, rolling in pain, you crouched to get closer to him.
“Your biggest downfall was thinking you could get away with it.” You told him.
“Whore.” He spit in your face, you flinching a bit from the blood.
Mingi and Wooyoung held San back again. You aggressively wiped at the spit, flinging it back into his eyes. “Rot in hell, Sheriff.” You whispered.
“Guards! Seize him! He's a traitor to this city!” Klein called out, moving from behind his desk.
You got back up and gave Hednricks a small kick with your boot. Scoffing, you turned to look back up at the boys, a smile over taking your features as you took them all in.
“Not gonna lie.” Seonghwa nodded. “I got a boner.”

Until my Last Breath
Okay so this one didn't win the vote but per special request by @maiveeetheone I’m going to write it! Hope you enjoy! xoxo
Pairing: Regina mills x pregnant!reader
TW: mentions of blood, almost miscarriage, kidnapping and minor torture.
Summary: Regina’s mother, Cora, returns and tries to turn her dark again but Y/N, her wife, has given her everything she’s ever wanted: true love, family, marriage, power and now a baby. What happens when she stands in the way of Cora’s sinister plans.
******************************************************** You sat across the conference room table as Regina conducted the meetings, it was for the town so Sheriff Swan, along with David and Snow, Mr. Gold, Regina the mayor, Zelena, a couple others and you, now you weren’t only married to the mayor and carrying her child but you helped run the hospital. You were Chief of surgeries after Dr. Whale had that taken away with the Daniel incident.
“So right now we’re using funds to help with remodeling of the school, so…” Regina was doing a funds recap and taking with Snow about what would need to be done and you started to drift off staring out the window. You ran your hand over your swollen bump feeling your baby kick and knowing that Regina’s voice was soothing to your unborn child even though she was talking finances for Storybrooke. You began to daydream about mornings where she would wake up with that slow morning growl, it made you feral for your wife and she knew it.
“Y/N…Y/N?” you heard her calling your name and it snapped you back to reality, back into the conference room with its white walls and black and white modern decor. Regina was looking at you amused, she could only imagine what had stolen your attention but had a good idea it was her and the baby.
“Oh yea, so as of right now we’re okay, we thought of possibly coordinating with the schools to give more volunteer opportunities to the kids, but we also have to discuss my leave, due to the Dr. Whale situation we’ll have to find a replacement for my maternity leave.”
“Well how about Zelena?” Regina asked, her relationship with her sister had grown tremendously, in fact that’s the only other person besides Emma and the Charmings that she’d trust with her life and family’s life.
“And what use would she be?” Asked the skeptical Mr. Gold.
“Well I mean she is a trained midwife.” Snow suggested.
“Because of a curse,” Emma reminded.
“And I’m a trauma surgeon because of the curse, Snow you’re a teacher even though it was a curse it created a version of us, a true version of us with all the training and skills," Regina watched you a grateful look in her eyes, “All I’m saying is that we give her a chance, I can set her up to assist Dr. Whale and keep him in check while I’m out and I can have Blue and the other fairies or nuns, whatever, check-in and help with outpatient care.”
Everyone exchanged looks and Regina mouthed a thank you, they then agreed that you were right and that’s the plan they’d go with. You discussed a few more minor things and then decided that it was time for everybody to go home after a long day, you stayed in the conference room until everyone was gone and then retreated to your office. You have an office at the hospital but it's in a secure part due to dealing with patients and HIPAA info so days like this Regina converted one of the old conference rooms into an office for you. It wasn't as big but she made sure to have the comfiest chairs and couches, it was decorated very modernly like her office with contrasts of vibrant forest green instead of the complete black and white, she had your favorite flowers on the desk, orange hibiscus flowers with a towering monstera plant in the corner both enchanted to never die. You had couches and chairs with a large rug on one side like her office and you had a bookshelf wall and a built-in mini-bar that quickly turned alcohol-free when you found out about the pregnancy, there was also a portion that pushed into a secret room like her vault allowing you to keep sensitive information. She wanted to make sure that you were comfortable, in your office and that it could be an escape for you considering what you did on a daily basis and the fact that she got to be closer to you during the workday, able to visit whenever and for whatever she wanted.
You finished some reports for the day and made your way down the hall to her office, you knocked and heard her call for you to come in. You walked in and before you could shut the door you felt arms wrap try and wrap around your waist but instead your bump blocked the little arms.
"Y/N!!!" you reached down and ruffled Henry's hair, and then ran a hand on his back looking up to make eye contact with Regina, she watched the interaction and her heart swelled, Henry loved you but he didn't take the idea of a third mom the easiest at first. Now don't get me wrong he was great and excited about a sibling but he had a hard time, with the whole new mom thing, he never called you mom he always said his mom's wife or your name, and he also wouldn't ever come to you either he went to Regina or right to Emma one time he even went to Snow before you knew. You wanted nothing more than to let him trust you so ever since the wedding you've been earning his trust, so it meant the world to Regina to see him so excited to see you and she knew it meant the world to you.
"Hey buddy, you have a good day?" you glanced down at him as he looked up at you.
"Yea we had a field trip today and then David offereed to take me to the stables to go riding."
"Oh really?" you smirked, looking back up to Regina as she just shook her head. "Well, then does my brave knight need me to drop him off?"
He laughed, "No, he's here, I just wanted to come in and see you before I went over, so I made him stop."
"Well in that case have fun, be safe, and take some pictures so I can brag to the nurses at work." you leaned down and kissed his hair as he hugged you tighter, he then ran back out of the office, but before the door closed you heard him yell back, "Bye, Moms!" You tuned looking at Regina, she got up walking over to you, a tear rolled down you face and she swiped it away letting her hand linger on your cheek and you leaned into the touch, she had her other hand holding yours running her fingers over your wedding ring.
"He really does love you." her coffee-brown orbs looked into your emerald green ones, as more tears ran down your face for her to swipe away.
You laughed, "God these pregnancy hormones are killing me."
“Darling, I…”, all the sudden you heard a crash outside, Regina turned and moved to the window. You held her hand in both of your as she reached to move the curtain.
“What the he…” that’s when she heard the moving of a cloud of smoke behind her and no longer felt the warmth of you hand, she spun on her heels and spotted the figure across the room.
“Mother? What’re you doing here?”
“Ahh sweet girl I’m here for you.”
“Where’s Y/N, What did you do with her?”
“You mean that peasant you call a wife,” she laughed at her daughter in front of her waving her off, “she’s in a safe place or at least it’s safe for a normal person, but not sure about her and the bastard child of yours.”
“No Mother that’s my wife and my baby, biologically both me and Y/N. She has more heart and passion and power then you’ll ever know and she loves me, truly loves me and Henry and I’ve never doubted her for a day, I LOVE her.”
“Oh darling you just live the idea of her.” Regina was done talking she whirled a fire ball, grabbing the spare dagger from the sheath attached under the desk, courtesy of you, and whirled it in that direction. She watched as smoke cleared and the dagger was no where to be found she prayed that she at least stunned her mother.
———time jump———
You were slumped forward and felt the restraints digging into your wrist and ankles as they were tied to the legs of the wooden chair. You were quickly jolted awake by Cora grabbing your chin and forcing you to look at her. Ugh, she let out a disgusted sigh and shoved you face away turning back, you watched as she walked out of the room into a smaller side room, looking around you realized you were in an older cabin, wait this was the cabin that’s hidden in the woods the enchanted cabin that… you heard heels coming towards you and turned your head, Maleficent and Cora both stood looking at you. Maleficent knelt down in front of you studying your features, she stared at your bump deciding whether or not to touch, as if it wasn’t real, you thrashed in the seat and she looked into your eyes, she ran a hand over your bump feeling your baby move.
“Cora, this is not the way to do this.” Maleficent spoke out but kept eyes trained on you as you gave her the smallest most gently terrified look you could.
“I decide how I do things, you’re just here for support on getting her back.”
“But her wife and unborn child?” Maleficent stood going to Cora.
“If they’re gone nothing will ever stop her from going back to dark and staying there.”
You started yelling into the gag and thrashing in the seat. Cora moved over to you and you felt as she slapped your face the sting of her fingers meeting your skin and the ringing in your ear her ring sliced into the skin of your cheek and you felt the blood run down, you knew you would have a black eye. She then grabbed the gag sliding it from your mouth.
“I swear if you lay a finger on Regina or my baby… so help me God.”
“Oh darling, I see why my daughter loves you.”
“My WIFE will be here before you know it and when she gets here nothing will stop her or me from destroying you!” You yelled at the woman in front of you. She bent down getting in your face, “nothing will stop me from getting my daughter back.”
“She’s not your little play toy anymore.” Again you felt a slap this time blood ran from you lip. You looked up and saw a shadow go by the window, Cora walked back over to Maleficent and retreated into the other room as you sat there hearing them argue. You watched as the shadows moved towards the door and then the door cracked, revealing Snow and Regina was right behind she pushed past the other woman and rushed to you, she ran her fingers over the cut on your lip.
“God what did she do to you?” Regina undid the restraints pulling you up into a hug.
“I’m okay…” you trailed, she pulled back placing a hand on your bump and running it over your large 8 month swollen stomach, “the baby too, we’re both okay.”
“Regina!” Snow yelled before being thrown against the wall by Cora, she used her body to shield you from her mother, taking her stand.
“My brave girl, protecting the mother of her child, but I ask who protects you, who truly keeps you from falling back into darkness.”
“I do.” You spoke up moving to stand next to her. Cora laughed out loud and Maleficent moved to check on Snow who was waking up, “Maleficent, what’re you doing?”
“This is wrong Cora.”
“And who are you to decide what is right and wrong, you destroyed villages and kingdoms with a single breath during your dragon days.”
“Mother my reign of terror and bloodshed is over, I’m never turning back.”
“Oh shut up stupid girl, I’ll show you terror.” She flicked her wrist and you felt a pain rip through your abdomen, it was so hard it brought you to your knees and you reached grabbing Regina’s arm as she turned to you.
“Oh God… Oh God the baby.” You let out a moan as tears started to fall, you felt the pain coming and going in waves, you looked down and saw a small stream of blood running down your leg.
“Mother, Stop!” Regina shouted and you watched as her magic collided with her mothers. You fell forward now on hands and knees as another pain tore through your body, you felt hands come around your sides and Snow tried getting you up.
“We need to get you out of here,” she let you lean into her and tried guiding you out the door. You reached a hand down brining it up coated in blood, again wincing in pain.
“But…but Regina,” you stuttered out in pain, letting out another moan. Maleficent placed a hand on your shoulder rubbing your arm as you tried breathing through it, “Let me save her for once you get out of here and get help before we have an injured Regina and a premature baby on our hands.” You looked into her eyes and saw she genuinely wanted to help, you slowly shook your head in agreement.
“Please get her back to me, please.”
She shook her head not breaking eye contact, “I promise, on my life.” Snow quickly turned taking you to the car as Maleficent threw her the keys,”I need to call Zelena we need to get you to the hospital.”
“No…” you struggled through another contraction.
“Y/N you’re in premature labor, there’s to much blood.”she tried reasoning with you.
“Snow if you take me all the way there…” you stopped breathing through another searing pain, letting out a low groan. “If we wait this baby won’t make it…God Snow… I won’t make it.” You said through gritted teeth.
“Okay just hold on.” You felt the car lurch forward as she pressed the gas harder.
She quickly rushed you back to the loft and called Emma filling her in, she reached over reassuring you again as you tried breathing in the passenger seat every wave coming stronger and faster. Once in the loft you were laid on Snow and David’s bed, Zelena and Emma quickly ran in the door, Zelena made her way to you. Seeing the blood on your thighs staining the white sheets red as you white knuckled the blankets, Snow brushing the sweat coated hair out of your face.
“What happened?”
“I…” you moaned, quickly being cut off by another pain.
“It was Cora she cast a spell and quick flick of her wrist and then Y/N was bent over in pain and the bleeding started.” She started to explain.
“Oh please don’t let her miscarry.” Snow said worrying.
“Don’t let me lose this baby.” You spoke out through another sharp pain.
“Labor?” Asked Emma looking to a very concentrated Zelena.
“Sort of, by the looks and sound of it mommy dearest used a pregnancy acceleration spell, if done right can work for mother and baby but if done wrong can cause a lot of problems.” Zelena explained, she lifted you shirt and felt your stomach pressing down in a few spots and releasing pressure as she felt the muscles tighten.
“Can you reverse if?” Snow asked concerned.
“I can I need to do it fast, and it will hurt like hell.”
“Will the baby be okay?”
“Y/N but you…” Snow started.
“Will the baby make it?!”
“Yes. I’m not sure the toll it will take on your body.” Zelena explained.
“I don’t care about me, you save this baby, whatever it takes you save my baby, our baby.” She slowly shook her head as you laid back against the pillows, Snow held your hand tightly understanding what could happen, Emma quickly gathered supplies and then came around to your other side, you felt Zelena swirl her hands on your bump, positioning them, you breathed through another pain.
“5 count?” She asked.
“Surprise me.” You let out a nervous breath as she nodded.
“Okay, 1…2…3…” she started before 5 not giving you much time to adjust, the last thing you heard was a bloodcurdling scream, realized it was you and then everything went black.
——— time jump———
You felt lips on your forehead and a hand holding yours, you felt tears as they landed on your hair. Slowly blinking open your eyes you realized it was your wife, she looked unscathed from events earlier. You quickly shot up on your elbows allowing the blanket to fall away revealing your bump, Regina was sitting next to the bed and laid an arm across you lap as you scooted up against the pillows resting her hand on your bump. You let out a small moan feeling the soreness in your muscles.
“Hey,” she spoke gently.
“What happened? Are you okay?” You slid your hand onto her cheek watching her eyes, she leaned into your hand.
“Well Zelena told me what happened, she told me though that you blacked out during the reversal spell.” She avoided the question.
“What happened with your mom?”
“Cora, I don’t consider her family after she went after you like that, Maleficent helped me and she pushed her back through a portal, she fell through with her though, I owe her my life.”
“Me too, how long was I out.”
“Two days, everyone has been asking about you.”
“Mmm, where’s Henry?” You rubbed at your eyes.
“With Emma and Snow and David they went out. Y/N I almost lost you, my love I’m so so sorry.” You watched as tears started to fall and you placed your hand back on her cheek, wiping tears with your thumb, she embraced the touch. You both let tears fall for a moment before she leaned forwards placing a kiss to your lips and then allowing you to lay your forehead against hers, “Y/N I will always fight for you, until I draw my last breath, I love you more than anything and I can’t wait to watch our family grow and I’m so sorry this happened to you.”
“Regina Mills you make me the happiest woman alive, don’t for a minute think that I’ll ever leave you, I love you, besides the ring is already on so it’s going to take a lot more than that to scare me away.” You both chuckled.
Zelena walked down the stairs and turned coming up to you and sitting at the edge of the bed, “So mama, looks like everything went okay, you’re gonna be sore for a little while, and as of yesterday you are officially on bedrest aside from coming in to visit.”
“Thank you Z, for everything.” You gave her a gentle smile.
“Don’t mention it just promise me that you’ll rest up and come back to show me the ropes before you have my niece or nephew.” She winked, patting your leg.
You heard the lock click and watched as the door swung open at first everyone moved in slowly until they saw you, they stood shocked until Henry came running around the corner and jumped on the bed hugging around your neck the best he could with your bump in the way. Zelena took her leave joining the others in the kitchen.
“Mama I thought I lost you!” You hugged him with one arm as tears rolled down your cheeks, Henry has never actually addressed you as mom before. You felt as Regina squeezed your hand and gave you a look, you closed you eyes living in the moment.
“Henry, love you’ll never lose me, I love you little man.” He wouldn’t let go of your neck and then you realized that he was crying, Regina reached around rubbing his back, “Baby it’s okay.” She reassured him.
“I…I…I just thought I lost you, I can…can’t lose both my m…moms, or my little sister I can’t wait to meet he…her” He said through sobs. You both smiled gently at him as he clung around your neck.
“Henry love what if you got a little brother?” Regina asked gently.
“No, I think it’s a girl.”
“Oh okay.” She chuckled looking at you as you held him and rubbed his back.
“I’d say someone agrees with that.” You let out a smirk, Regina looked at you hopeful.
“Really?” You nodded and she moved her hand down feeling as your baby kicked, a tear rolled down her cheek and she leaned up to kiss you.
“I wanna feel.” Henry said turning his head and placing a hand near Regina’s feeling the baby move. He let out a toothy grin making you both laugh at your sons reaction.
He pulled away but only to curl into your side holding Regina’s hand that was spread across your bump, he started talking to the baby, you sat there content knowing that no matter what you were all loved and that you finally had the family you always dreamed of.

Without you (Delta Dawn x John Dory 🧡💙)
Tumblr media
(ART/IG: @/ burntzbread) [note: hope you don't mind me using you art as reference, I'll take it down if you don't, it's sorta my inspiration while writing this TT]
(WARNING: English is not my first language)
The trolls in the Country Village, Lonesome Flats. Have known Mayor Delta and John Dory's relationship for a year now. No they weren't dating, they're just close, really close. But they can tell that they really like each other, it annoys them why neither one of them confesses yet.
Though not many country trolls really like John Dory. Cause first of all, he's a pop troll, some of his songs made them sick, he's too loud and even too touchy. Most of all, they worried that it might affect their beloved Mayor and Sheriff from his contagious pop troll nature, that'll affect their village as well.
So yeah, nobody really like nor accept John Dory living in Lonesome Flats... or so they thought.
One day, the rumour of John Dory leaving was spread throughout town. Some rejoices while some really misses him, since he has been a very kind and helpful pop troll to them.
Delta was aware that her friend was part of a band, which is his brothers. JD decided to pay his brothers for a visit, cause its almost been a year since the last time he saw them after saving Floyd. Which means that he has to leave from the country village for a week or 2, leaving everything behind here, that includes Delta.
"Are you gonna be okay while I'm gone?" The turquoise-haired troll asked and held her hand, while carrying both his belongings at his back and holding Rhonda's keys to his other palm. Worried about leaving her behind.
"Pfft! I'll be fine sweetie, you're being so dramatic. I'm a grown lady." The red haired lady scoffed. "You go spend time with your brother, you've already helped us long enough here. Go have a vacation to your real home, dear."
Even though she said that, JD knows that she's not gonna be. For the past few months he knew her. Delta may seem like she's a very tough fiesty mayor that kept everyone safe. He can tell that she's lonely, feeling the pressure of holding responsibility for everyone... much like himself for his family...
The man grabbed her warm hands, caressing in reassurance with an anxious expression on his face "Look, I promise... I'll visit as soon as I can to check on you and everyone... then, we'll go on a date! "
The lady snicker at his sudden silliness, breaking the heavy tension  between them. As expected from him, he always know how to cheer her up... that's what she loves about him....
"Hah, darling, I've already taken care of this village for the past what? 10 years? I can handle your disappearance for another 2 weeks, maybe even a year. And for the last time!  Im NOT going on a date with you! " She joked, giving him an evil smirk. Making him play along again, by acting like someone just stabbed his heart.
"Owww my lady that hurts." He giggled,  making Delta's heart felt a little lighter from joy.
JD turned around, about to enter into Rhonda, but then she saw him turn around,  hesitating to do something.
Before she could even respond,  she was caught by surprise when JD charged at her with a smirk. He suddenly lifted her up with a hug... like, man! He's so strong! (Or did he secretly work out for this moment hehe) After a few moments of embracing her, he placed her down. But little did Delta know that's not his only surprising gesture.  He rested his lips on her cheeks, embracing this moment he gets to have.
JD immediately run to Rhonda and shut the door before Delta could even hit him with her horse shoes. She blushed deep shades of red, very flustered of what he just did.
"Mr. JOHN DORY!  Don't expect a warm welcome once you've come back!  You're gonna be kissing my fist when you returned!" She yelled, actually out of embarrassment.
"Can't wait honey!" He winked, as he sped up Rhonda so she won't be able to chase him to the driver's seats windows.
And with that... JD just disappeared out of thin air. Like how it was before... it suddenly got... quiet . She thought,  holding the light pressure of JD's lips on her cheek. With a sad expression that everyone in Lonesome Flats noticed... she was missing him already...
Delta turned around and saw that everyone staring at her, "What are you guys doing?  Get back to work!"
She scolded,  that everyone got scared and immediately mind their own business.
TIMESKIP
After JDs disappearance. The country trolls went on their usual routine. That includes Delta Dawn's job as Mayor and Sheriff.
Of course it wasn't the same without John Dory. Hanging around with the guys while playing pop-country songs together with their guitar and helping her around while also cracking jokes to make it more fun.  She find it annoying back then, but she never would've thought she was starting to look for it. Now it was quiet, having lunch alone in her office.
When she came home, she saw Clamper looking a little down while doing her homework. It was an unusual sight,  since whenever she came home she immediately runs to JD to get some upsies,  while he plays along and playfully toss her to the air. Now she just gave her aunt a joyful smile and hug "Hey Aunt Delta, welcome home! "
"Hey my sweet baby, ya hungry?"
"Yes ma'am!" She exclaimed, wanting to light up the mood.
Days went on, work, stress here and there.  The usual routine of going to work, checking up the town, and going home to take care of her niece, repeat for the past week. Then it gets more busy that the country trolls started to notice more changes from Delta ever since the blue haired pop troll disappeared.
Before he came to their lives, Delta was already doing just fine, being a workaholic,  while singing songs in her free time about being "Born to Die" , her life feeling like a routine.
When  that pop troll came, the women who seems to be nothing but work become more and more lively.  They keep seeing her smile and even laugh, being more in the moment. That even her songs becomes a bit more lively. She's even more softer than her tough personality that everyone feared whenever she gets angry,  VERY angry with her temper...
Which is actually...  happening when he left. But worse.
"The Delta Dawn" before John Dory, was back . Not only was she back from being a workaholic, even her temper that everyone feared returned. Another few days has passed, especially when the Country Trolls became busy for an upcoming busy event, she's becoming more stressed and hot headed.
Everybody knows that Delta is just being leader, that she has to be tough for her people to listen, without any bad intention of hurting them. In fact everybody knows she's kind and sweet deep down. But her toughness can get scary that her workers won't be in peace when she is angry.
"Hey I told you to clean this area!"
"Why are the bathrooms sink not fixed yet?!"
"The thieves did what?! Where are they?!"
"I didn't waste the village's finances for it to be nothing! Where's the thing i asked for?!"
Eventually Delta realised her roughness towards her village for the past few days and apologises.
Though everyone was starting to worry about her, despite the fact she apologises. The red haired trolls aura is becoming more scary for them to approach their leader.
"Oh goodness!  Our dear Sheriff has been so stress lately!" A villager spoke,  trying to be quiet so she won't hear them.
"She really needs to rest. She's overexerting herself "
"I can't believe I'm saying this, where is that Pop dude she's always around with?!" A guy asked
"That weirdo?  He came home to visit his bros to the pop village. "
"Well dangitty-doodly! We really need this dude back here if we don't want her to explode at us, especially on tomorrow's very special day!"
And with that,  the country trolls are now starting to look for JD's presence. His their only hope for Delta to calm down.
The day came, everything is going really well with the event. The decorations are aesthetically decorated, music played softly and beautifully,  couples dancing around , giving flowers here and there whether they're friends,  family and lovers...  Yes, it's Valentine's Day.
Everyone is having a great time, Delta? She is, she recieve flowers from Clampers and from her villagers, thanking her for all the hardwork she has done, which made her feel a little better.
She wasn't suppose to go out for Valentine's Day,  she even made sure that everything's finish yesterday.  The lights, the heart shape sweets,  the roses and the music. Everything was done,  even her  own people doesn't mind her resting for this event. But as the Mayor, she was needed. She needs to do the speech of the opening event and gets called out whenever there's an emergency. Unfortunately for her, this year's Valentine's Day is torture for her.
TIMESKIP
It's late evening, the Sheriff finally lays down in her office's coach out of exhaustion.  Finally gets to get away from all of those romantic couples cuddling in public and also some quarrelling between lovers or friends. It was very exhausting.  Thankfully the day is finally over. Being Mayor and Sheriff is tiring,  but it was all worth it to see everyone having a great time.
She sigh, decided to get up and grab some wine that she received. Enjoying the peace and breeze of the night, admiring the lights of her village. She felt a hint of sadness in her chest, as she grabbed some roses, loving the scent, absent-mindedly pluck each petals and let some fall from her window.
"Why do you have to leave? ... in such a very special day... John Dory..." She whispered.  Finally admitting that she misses him. Secretly missing his company, his jokes, his romantic gestures, his cheesy romantic songs and even simply his comforting words whenever she felt the stress of being a leader.
Since when did she gets so attach to him? That life's never been the same without him.
"Why? Do you really wanted me to kiss your fist so badly?" She almost choke at the wine she drunk when she heard a very familiar voice that she haven't heard for 2 weeks.
He was not in her room, she looks around and then spotted a turquoise-haired troll at the side of her window, climbing at the walls with a wide teasing grin on his face that she knows too well. "Hey Ms. Mayor, looking like a hottie as always... Miss me?"
He flirted, internally laughing at her reaction. Though he can't help but lovingly admired her, even by just her presence. "But seriously Delta... you're looking beautiful as always... I miss you..."
She was stunned that she can't say anything but stare, when he finally came in through the window. The silence made John Dory a little scared. Is she mad that he returned late? Or from what he had done from the last time they saw each other?!
"Delta... I'm sorry, my brothers and I have a little bit of an issue back in Pop village and-"
He wasn't able to finish it, when he felt arms went around him, embracing him tightly. The red-haired troll hid her face through his chest, holding him close.
"I thought you weren't coming back..." She spoke up. John was stunned as realization hit him.
"What are you talking about? Of course I'm coming back, I promise didn't I? Not even in this special day... with my favorite lady here, I'm sorry im a bit late..." He was trying to get her to look up, but she doesn't want to,  but just glued herself to his chest, refusing to show her face of which he understood.
Instead, he just caresses the locks of her and returned her embrace, staying quiet for a few minutes and enjoying the peaceful silence they have together.
When they finally let go, Delta immediately wipe her tears and started to act like she never cried at all. JD just pretended that he never saw her puffy eyes and just smiled, that he finally gets to see her again.
"Here... Happy Valentine's day."  He grabbed a rose from the bouquet he was bringing, then pluck the stem along with its thorns, to place the lovely red rose to behind her ears. While giving her the rest of the bouquet.
With that,  they enjoyed the rest of the evening catching up, as they stargaze and loving the view of the village. Drinking some wine and sweets, with romantic country music playing outside.
The Sheriff felt all the heaviness in her chest was lifted and was refreshed by the peace, simply by having his partner by her side.
Yes, this is got to be her most favorite Valentine's Day night...
BONUS: The next day? Yep! The country village was overjoyed of JDs return, dramatically begging him to not leave, and shockingly even ask him to marry the red-haired troll. Which leave the pop troll REALLY confused of their sudden clinginess.
"Umm did I miss something?..."
