So. Gen alpha is almost halfway done being born, and it just occurred to me that, you know. After alpha. It's Gen beta right? 2035-2054. The betas.

Depending on whether or not the beta v alpha male thing has died out yet they might be able to get off without too many beta jokes. But tbh, they aren't who I'm worried about.

do you think that becoming a content creator is worth the negatives that could come with it? (i guess im just conflicted as to if I really want to attempt this when so much could go wrong, if that makes any sense.)

content creation is truly the best job in the world, you’re your own boss and you’re able to talk to people from around the world and create cool things for people to see and it is just genuinely brilliant as it’s brought me to my favourite people in the world

however, with content creation follows the internet, and it’s no shock that the internet is cruel and unkind. if you had asked me this a year ago, id say absolutely! but now im honestly unsure and would recommend you have “thick skin” going into this job (meaning just ensure you are able to handle harsh comments from people who don’t even know you)

i would say yes it’s worth it, but only if you allow yourself set time on the internet and still allow yourself to pursue a healthy lifestyle outside of creation

#i’ve been asked this a lot and wanted to put my input #i adore streaming so much but the internet makes it a lot harder to enjoy it #recently i’ve just been incredibly drained with it all #from having my entire body discussed by middle aged men on reddit #to then having people who don’t know me send me asks just belittling my personality because they want to believe they know me #streaming makes me so happy #but everything that comes with it just makes it hard to enjoy if that makes sense #i’m okay it is just frustrating i suppose #i want to be transparent when people ask me stuff like this and not just be lie AW YEAH STREAMING IS THE BEST #love you gamers #asksey

Social media is kinda twisted and it's scary to realize how it warps everything around it

#i think ive gotten pretty good at controlling my social media habits except the entire fact i log in in the first place #embarrassing...#im not even gonna lie i get scared deep down #of being alone and not having the small bit of interaction and going crazy 😧#i think my habit of going to sleep with YouTube comes from this (though i kicked this habit and i don't do it anymore)#I'm scared to be alone when i go to sleep bc i don't know what's even gonna happen tomorrow #so i try to stick to comfort which is listening to a person talk #its insane how much time i wasted on sns and it has given me nothing except anxiety and self hatred and shame and guilt #let's be real at the end of the day what awaits me if i turn off the internet would make most people want to kill themselves #welp #still i try to kick the habit (unsuccessful so far)
