Break Free from Substance Abuse Disorders for a Bright Future!
People who struggle with substance use disorders are particularly vulnerable to getting one or more chronic diseases or main ailments. In persons receiving medication-assisted therapy, co-occurring disorders, which include both a mental illness and a substance use disorder, are typical (MAT). NuLease offers counseling for individuals, couples, families, co-occurring disorders, and substance abuse at our clinic.
Mood and anxiety disorders are some of the most prevalent mental health conditions seen in chemically dependent individuals. Even more persons with serious mental illness also have substance use problems co-occurring with them. Schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder are some of these mental health conditions.
Diagnostic challenges can arise with co-occurring disorders. Mental disease symptoms can be hidden by addiction or substance abuse symptoms, and vice versa. Because they don't see the connection between their drug use and their mental health issues, people with mental health illnesses occasionally avoid talking about it.
With the help of NuLease, patients can develop their self-esteem and healthy coping mechanisms while maintaining their drug recovery.

Dysautonomia is just one of those invisible disabilities. BUT there are so many more.
Don't judge a book by its cover. Alot of people are fighting things you don't know about.
Being able to function on a day to day basis doesn't mean we will always be able to, or that it's a struggle to get there. It's just about that we got there. Don't let them win. Know your strength and educate them.
Prove them wrong.💜

Why Our Health Conditions Often Cast Us Out?
Humans have advanced through time at an exponential rate. We have gotten rid of some antiquated practices and have adapted to the revolutionary methods that cater to the welfare of people. Despite the growth of understanding toward many things, we have thus far lagged on some. For example, our understanding of some health conditions. People who suffer from health diseases such as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and other misunderstood conditions become victims of pity or contempt. Due to the ignorance of these diseases, some would reduce the afflicted to their sufferings. Diseases never define the character of a person. That said, the stigma concerning physical and mental health should be stopped. There is a great need to educate those who know nothing about diseases. Ignorance is the major factor that divides our community. Unable to understand fully a disease, they create assumptions of how grave it is and that one must avoid contact with the afflicted. Instead of relying on baseless assumptions, we should consult a professional. With our willingness to learn, our perception broadens. Thusly, the way treat those who are suffering from physical diseases and mental illnesses changes. The contempt against diseases augments the suffering of the afflicted. It is never right to treat them differently because of their conditions. They need our support, not contempt. We must, once and for all, break the stigma of the diseases. To do this, we have to will ourselves to learn rather than live in the shadows of made up assumptions. Out of all the things we have advanced from, we have lagged on breaking the stigma on diseases. However, this generation is making all the best effort to eradicate ignorance that has impeded us from attaining great feats. Humans are many things, but they are never the diseases they suffer. I´m so exhausted of the way people treat me, just because I have a “mental disability”. Specially my mom.
Yesterday I was called to work. I passed an exam a few years ago and they called me now. I didn´t take it. The last times I took a job my mom made me quit, she said “it´s not good for you”.
My mom, who is a psychologist, is now the one prescribing me drugs. This is not how this is supposed to go. I was on Haldol in the past 7 days. She didn´t even give me a reason to prescribe it. She said I shouldn´t ask her for reasons.
I´m hopeless. No one will ever help me, not here in Brazil, not here in my city. I very much doubt this could ever happen.
I emailed I bunch of authorities in Brazil to denounce what was happening. I guess I wrote to more than 30 addresses, and no one cared to answer me back.
The reason I wrote is because my mom threatens me to put me away “forever”. The law doesn´t allow that to happen, but I know how it goes, I´ve been to many institutions before.
I can´t just run away, not without money and having nowhere to go. My life, how do you guys say? Has lost it´s “salt”.
I´m actually excited about starting this blog, say whatever it is I have in mind, maybe make some friends, maybe get some ideas.
