Friendly reminder NOT to bully people (especially literal children) for their battle jackets/vests, even if they suck absolute ass.

Try giving constructive criticism instead of being a dick about it. No matter how bad one looks, or how far it may be from what a battle jacket/vest is supposed to be, a lot of time and love went into that shit. Somebody worked hard on that, and are hopefully proud of their work. It's okay to tell them what's wrong with it, and how they can improve, but it's not okay to make fun of the way it's put together, or how it looks. Help people get better, don't put them down.

“Maybe Dad planted them.” Mikey chimed in from the front, all sly innocent littlest energy.

“Excuse me, I am right here.” Splinter said, delightfully mixed with gruff and amused.

Donnie kept his gaze on the enormous trees with their impossibly large trunks, and thought,

i´ve been working on this vest for a while now and i need some feedback pls :) (i haven´t worn it outside yet cause i´m not super happy with how it looks rn, sometimes i think it´s too chaotic and i´m so close to redoing the whole thing, but i probably won´t cause i´m too lazy lol). still hoping that adding more patches might make it look purposefully chaotic

it´s also far from finished, a lot of patches aren´t sewn on yet and i still need to make a bunch of them for other bands (melissa, nature´s grave, another x-ray spex patch cause i´m not quite happy with this one, bam bam, sonic youth, skunk anansie, plasmatics, might redo the siouxsie one too but idk, die spitz, etc.).

btw there´s only female fronted/all female bands on this vest!

I hand painted a few of the patches - the spiderwebs, blink-182, enter shikari, don broco, and electric callboy. I just need to find two small patches for those tiny gaps on the back lol
