Okay! So! I'm breaking out the correct capitalization because this news is so insane! The Japanese website for Endless Ocean Luminous received a major update last night, and I want to walk through the biggest new info from it with you! This is gonna be really long, so please bare with me, there's just so much to cover...
Here's the link for people who want to check this themselves: https://www.nintendo.com/jp/switch/a7lka/index.html
The Veiled Sea is random, but not in the way you think
It has been officially confirmed that the Veiled Sea's terrain and creatures will change with each dive, and creatures will likely spawn in accordance to the nearby terrain. But don't panic!
After filling in 80% of an area's map, you will be given a map ID, which you can use to access that exact same map, either by yourself or with friend, whenever you like! Think of them like Minecraft world seeds. An example ID (which can likely be used upon release) is given in the photo above, accompanied by what looks like a photo of the one and only...! Maybe you can reliably encounter her on that map ID?
2. Salvages are back, baybee!!
In what looks to be a system similar to EO1 and the Everblue games, salvages of all sorts can be found under small glints on the ocean floor! The P earned from salvages immediately goes into your current amount once you've picked it up. According to the photo above, salvaging is "essential to unravelling the ocean's mysteries", and another photo states that you may even find traces of "ancient civilizations"...
3. A diving rank system has been revealed, along with fishy friends
As you discover new creatures and treasures, you will unlock all sorts of things, and your dive rank will increase! Higher dive ranks have access to more suit colors (which side note omg i'm loving the options), as well as larger creatures following you, and more creatures following at the same time! What does that mean? Well... you know EO1's friendship system, where if you're friendly enough to a fish, it'll follow you around? This seems to be returning, but reworked! The creatures that follow you depends on your dive rank: at a low rank, only small fish will follow you, but as your rank increases, you can have dolphins and even huge whales tag along with you!
4. Behold a whole new range of underwater environments
I already showed pictures of them in my previous post, so I won't here to save photo space, but to list a few, underwater magma flows, shipwrecks in the abyss, polar areas, freshwater caves, and active hydrothermal vent fields have all been shown off here!
5. Different missions will be available each dive
Not much elaboration is needed here, but each dive, you will be given special missions (such as seeking out a location or creature). We don't yet know what reward these will give us, but it's gotta be good, right?
6. A new method of identifying creatures
Creatures you have yet to identify will glow, and pressing the L button while near these creatures will unlock their information. Multiple creatures' info can be acquired this way at the same time, making for easy scanning of big groups! This info will then be available in the marine encyclopedia, which can be accessed at any time.
The encyclopedia will also record the creature's behavior, habits, and the largest/smallest sizes of it you have found.
7. Creature variants have been introduced
Though the site did not elaborate on this, it did showcase a picture of a creature labelled "variant".
This one is especially interesting, because though the scientific name here is accurate, the Japanese text below it reads... "Coco Maharaja", which is this EO2 legendary's Japanese name! Will we be able to encounter the exact legendary specimens from EO2 again in the Veiled Sea, or are these simply colored variants named after them? Either way, the creature variant system is going to be awesome, I can tell!
8. Photography is back, and better than ever!
Photos will be sent to the Nintendo Switch's album when taken. What purpose they will serve in the greater game has yet to be seen, but you can take photos with yourself in them!
9. Multiplayer and singleplayer options
I know some people were worried about multiplayer being the only mode, but this is not the case! Players can dive either solo, or with a group over the internet with the "Dive Together" option. When diving together, up to 10 random players can play... or, when diving with friends, up to 30 people can!
Additional multiplayer reveals include the ability to use tons of emotes to communicate, adding emojis to creatures or treasures you find which can be seen on the map for others to check out (the Cacao Maharaja photo showcases a bunch of these emojis), being able to teleport to any player in your current dive, and more!
10. A new mythical creature...?
The array of photos shown of new creature models is absolutely astounding... but one in particular that caught my eye is the set of new prehistoric creatures!
One of these things is not like the others though... what could "Raja Emas" be...? Can prehistoric creatures be mythical too?
This update has made me more hyped than ever for this game! I'd be curious to hear your thoughts too~ :>

Here it is-- my first ever true Minecraft Adventure Mode Map !!!
Since I'm a rookie, there's bound to be mistakes, even beta-tested; constructive feedback is appreciated, but criticism might make me sad.
How to play:
Download and unzip the folder
Go into the folder, there will be a second folder with the same name. This is the one you want to use!
Press Windows Key + R at the same time
Paste appdata%.\.minecraft and then hit "ok", (or the enter key) not "browse"
Find and open the saves folder
Paste the second folder into your saves
It may be titled "New World". My bad! I was too excited to remember to name it...
Open Minecraft in Snapshot 24w40a and have fun/get spooked!
Thanks for playing! Please please let me know what you think!
(If you don't know how to make an installation, there's instructions below the cut!)
How to play Snapshot 24w40a:
At the top of the launch screen, to the right of your name, there are a few tabs, labelled "Play", "Installations", "Realms", etc. Click the installations tab.
In this tab, there are some checkmarks in the upper right. Be sure to checkmark the "snapshots" button, or you won't see it!
Click "New Installation"
Find Snapshot 24w40a. There's a bug that got fixed in more recent updates that this map relies on, so no other versions will work.
Optional: You can choose a block to represent this "installation"! I picked a carved pumpkin, as is fitting of the season.
Hit "Play" ! You did it!
Once you've created an installation, on the main launch screen, to the left of the "PLAY" button, there is an arrow allowing you to pick installations you have made without going to that tab.
HAPPY HAUNTING!

someone said "MCC haters wouldn't survive Minecraft Mondays" and that has been living in my brain rent free. i remember one specific instance of XQC.... actually that name speaks for itself.
if you think MCC is "toxic" or "badly run" (which it isnt btw, Noxcrew is good at it stfu) for an event that is JUST FOR FUN.... shall I remind you that Minecraft Mondays wouldn't let you choose your team? some of the main maps were just downloaded from other servers? you have to be put through find the button. James Charles HAS to be interacting with your little block guy every week. it's a formative experience
not even the Dream Team squabble with MCC was as toxic as the sheer rancidness of the weekly holiday, Minecraft Mondays. Rest in Piss never return. You were so important

Welsknight Season 7, EP 1 and 2 a Rat's report
So I started watching Wels season 7 again for reasons⢠and decided I should take notes, not only of what he does, but about things I observe around the server, so here is my trying to understand my own notes and sharing with y'all. Idk if I will do it again, but I had fun doing this.
Note: I did it again! NEXT
INSANE "Starter" House! | Hermitcraft 7 - Ep. 1
27:04 length, posted 23 may 2020. Watched 30 January 2023.
Wels starts the video referring to it as Season 6, he says that he just had a nap, and he is ready to go work in "projects"
He finds it weird that no one is online Cub enters the world and gets weirded out with Wels being on the word Wels talks with Cub in the nether hub -Wels calls Cub a vex and this makes me unreasonable happy -Wels refers to season 7 as "the future" He goes through a suspicious diamond portal and ends in Hermitcraft season 7
At season 7 Cub gives him some of Scar's crystals, He grabs two:
"Courage of the lion" and a "A gift of love", because I quote -Love is all you need-
Some time observation notes:
Grass and mycelium mix in the Shopping District, this is before the war.
I see a Mumbo for mayor map, I am still not sure what point in the mayoral election this is.
It's before the nether update: The button is alive.
I probably should mention he builds his starter base, it has a lovely colour pallet.
This is where my episode one notes ends, but I went a little bonkers with episode two notes,
Mines & Landscapes | Hermitcraft 7 - Ep. 2
26:15 length, posted 27 may 2020. Watched 30 January 2023.
He starts mining and talking about the burnout he was going through, apparently he took a 8 months break of minecraft, started streaming and swapped to a more general gaming content creation.
Personal note: This reminded me why I started watching Wels to begin with; the man was receiving awful comments, because of his lack of minecraft posting. I was new to the fandom and hadn't ever watched him before, when I got here he was already going with his now very familiar cycle of posting minecraft and vanishing for some time, maybe posting another game and maybe posting nothing for months. I will not lie, I started watching him of pure spite to the awful people that felt like it was a acceptable comportment to go to this guy's comment section and talk shit about how if he wasn't going to post he should get kicked out Hermitcraft. I said it at that time and I will always repeat: You are aren't entitled NOTHING, Wels and honestly any other youtuber, by default owns you nothing, and being a little hater will only ostracize you from other people from this community. aNYWAY; I got hooked in his Binding of Isaac series, and to today he is my favorite youtuber, and his videos -Minecraft or not- bring me great joy. Okay back to my report.
*Spams clicks his bed when the sun starts to go downs* "Bdubs isn't online, someone gotta fill up" Sir, just admit you have a sleeping problem /j
*Insert epic wither skeleton killing montage here*
The button is dead. Wels comment at seeing it dead: "The Gift machine is broken, good thing I didn't spend a long time camping, I could be hurt"
Wels starts going through the mayoral candidates and starts reasoning why he wouldn't vote to some of them
Mumbo: "I can't in good conscious support Mumbo, because I don't need a spoon" (Personal note: I was so amused I anoted the time stamp 07:15) Scar: Scar offered cats for everyone if he wins and I quote Wels "I don't even like cats" (Personal note: Even your favs can do wrong; sometimes living in denial and turning a blind eye for things is a good thing to do /hj) Doc: "I don't know, where I will even begin" (Personal note: "this green man was occupied having a child", Its a good start of a explanation and "He is a menace and a threat to society" is also a very reasonable one. Joe: "He isn't running for mayor" (Personal note: Yeah, he was running for something even better, the whole Dog catcher thing, may be one of the best things I ever saw in minecraft. "Create a problem that only you can solve, so now you hold political power over your fellow friends and coworkers") So this leaves Wels with two good option False and Stress, he can't really decide so he leaves his concrete vote in both of them. (Rat's reaction : Yesss, vote in our queens, oh brave knight!)
10/10 he would book again
Why is he killing the wither with a axe?? (I know why, but let me fins him weird)
He is doing his starter base interior; I am having House flipper flashbacks, at least it isn't grey.
No one sells feathers, Wels commits murder of the poultry category.
He send letters to his close neighbors, it starts with "Hidey-ho neighbor-" and I am smiling wide and losing my marbles.
Every neighbor receives two blue flowers, with exception of Jevin who receives two yellow ones (Persona note: I find this funny, because Jevin is the only one I am aware that blue is his favorite color)
Some time and world observation notes:
Barge was updated from Ep 1 to 2, Wels complimented it.
I just saw Grumbot- Oh god the shopping district was so ugly. (My actual live reaction)
This is the end of my report for now. God I am nostalgic, Season 7 was the season I got into Hermitcraft, and it fills me with joy seeing if from the pov of my favorite youtuber.

How to design movement tech? I am thinking about a titanfall like grappling hook mechanic for a minecraft block game, where i want everyone to be able to express themselves the way they want, so having a good movement system and allow players to play on other maps kinda like mario maker is important, the camera is 3 person and with splatoon reticle, its just a project for now, how do i mix a grappling button, jump, crouch and run button
And how could be expanded by item usage or block placement, it could be so cool but i have no idea of what i am doing
never played Titanfall but I looked it up and the grappling mechanic looks sick
I've never made anything like what you're describing so my two cents might be more like once cent, but here's what I think
Minecraft is all about the environment you're in and your relationship to it. the ways you navigate it, break it down, build upon it, reshape it, etc. the way you move in Minecraft emphasizes that relationship. you're meant to feel small compared to a big world, so you can't jump that high or far. exploring forests, plains, oceans, rivers, ravines, jungles, mountains. they're all different experiences because of this
once you get an Elytra and some fireworks, the world suddenly feels a lot smaller. forests, plains, oceans, rivers, ravines, jungles, mountains, they all blur together and lose meaning when you just fly over them. it's a freeing feeling, but it comes at the cost of the level of intimacy you previously had with the world. even your own creations can start to feel small and insignificant when you fly over them
however, when you enter a cave, the environment forces you to respect it by increasing the risk of flying around with elytra. it's generally safer and more practical to go on foot... unless you're a thrillseeker, in which case caves are probably the most exciting and rewarding place to fly in
of course, the elytra are a really extreme example of a mechanic that cheapens one of the main appeals of a game, and I don't think the Titanfall grappler would be quite that extreme (to a certain degree it could actually bring out a cool dynamic with the environment, where you benefit from finding good spots to grapple off of) but I think it's still worth considering how you want to approach any potential conflict between these two appeals of freeing, expressive movement and an intimate connection with the environment
do you want to de-emphasize or even completely ignore one of these appeals in favor of strengthening the other, maybe by nerfing the grappler or just not going for the same kind of intimate connection that mc goes for? or do you want to find a way of making them work together, maybe by increasing the risk of using the grappler, or by giving the grappler some limitation that different environments helps you overcome in different ways--maybe grappling the floor doesn't really get you speed and height the way it does in Titanfall, but grappling onto stuff above you is where it's at? maybe then players start building grapple points as infrastructure to cross plains/deserts/oceans? that could be cool!
there's lots of ways to approach mashing these two things together and resolving (or avoiding!) the conflicts that arise from doing so, but hopefully I've helped give you stuff to think about!!

Prism Review!
So since I'm always trying to find new Minecraft servers to play and there's far too many to pick from so! I have decided to start making proper reviews for different servers. Now these reviews will look at multiple things such as their webstore for in-game things, ranks, unique features, builds, community etc.!
So onto the review of Prism (A Minecraft Survival/Creative Server)
Prism has a very well-made Survival spawn. The main building has a very simple interior to explore, showing some basic information like staff, a world map and some very simple decorations!
It's not crowded with text, NPCs or other material as to not overwhelm a new player!
Instead of crowding the main spawn, they have a rather large city! Where you can find the crates, PVP arena, shops and pretty much everything! Promoting exploration of Spawn and for players to hang out and be more centralized.
Another cool thing about these buildings is it also used them for player shops. You can go onto the discord, open a ticket, and you'll be able to get a shop!
Having these player shops at spawn instead of having an /AH or Admin Shop is a way better approach to facilitate trade! As it makes, the server have more character and life for it.Â
They also have a few other note able buildings in Spawn such as... a PVP arena (Picture on the Left) and a Drop Party maze (Picture on the Right) Both of which are really gorgeous buildings! that both really fit the theme of Spawn!
They also have Crates! Which can both be obtained via buying a rank (We'll come to that later) and voting, these crates don't give anything to crazy as to break the game and since you can't just buy the keys it luckily doesn't try to promote gambling in anyway.
Now these crates offer your typical stuff but they also each have custom armor/items in them, I would say similarly to over reviews the best way to make your custom items stand out amongst the crowd is to use a CIT pack to give them a unique look and more collectable and sought after.
One great feature this server offers is Player warps! allowing people to share rather impressive towns and buildings such as an amazing Museum full of all the custom events and items the server has had or an amazing zoo to explore!
I should also mention, they have a rather nice tutorial setup to help players get acquainted with core features and rules! The only thing I would say⌠When you walk around each part a command block is triggered and some text gets posted into chat. that wouldn't be an issue, but the text is spammed way too fast!
Making it kind an overwhelming to read and understand all the information being given to a new player, a better approach to do this would be to make use of pressure plates or buttons to activate the text as to prevent spamming and allow players to go through it at their own pace.
I won't talk to much about the Creative realm on this server due to it being still in beta, but I will give my brief opinions on it along with the Event realm.
With most servers in my opinion they go with a super basic spawn for Creative, nothing to creative or interesting but Prism does have a Massive and gorgeous spawn and layout for the Creative world.
They do offer some rather average features like world edit! I would recommend to help improve the creative mode.. I'd highly recommend adding a Voxel Sniper plugin and the Axiom plugin to spice it up more
Moving right along to the Event realm, don't got much to say since they had no active events at the moment but the spawn for it was really nice!
Along with the Event realm they do have a hub world which is very cute, colorful and bright! with not to much crowding the main spawning platform.
But now we need to talk about one of the most important elements of any server. Monetization it's something all servers must do in order to keep running, unlike what some may think. Running a server isn't free, you have to pay for the server host, plugins, devs, builders, artists all kinds of things in order to make a good running server
Firstly we have Ranks which there are 9 of in Total but 7 are permanent and 2 are yearly subscriptions. The Permanent Ranks start at Quartz Which is ($5.00 USD) and ends at Topaz which is ($45.00 USD) These ranks gives you typical things like more homes, flight command, more plots in creative and weekly kits! The two Rank subscriptions starts at Iridium which is ($60.00 USD) and ends at Prism which is ($120.00 USD).. Which gives you the same perks as the regular Iridium which is ($5.00 USD) and Prism at ($10.00 USD)
Having a subscription based ranking system is always doomed to fail since most people won't want to shill out a yearly payment to a Minecraft server, sure does that help operational costs? Yes but its better to just make Ranks one time purchases than to do a subscription based model.
Next we have bundles which I do have very mixed feelings about first we got a Survival Money Boosts which is ($10.00 USD) which gives everyone Online $5,000 in ingame currency. There is also a Rank Bundle Boost which starts at ($10.00 USD) and gives everyone Online 2 Rank Bundle Keys.. The reason I have a slight issue with these is being able to add that much money into the games economy by just buying it is destined to completely destroy a servers economy eventually! its best to make ingame currency only available by playing on the server wither that having a jobs plugin or at a player market or even voting!
Along with that even though this isn't to crazy of selling crate keys, I still don't think promoting gambling in Minecraft is very good. again having crates isn't necessarily bad but if you have to pay real money for them even if it goes to everyone is still bad. Its better to just have them earnable while playing or via voting!
Now to wrap this up with the Extras which offers you RGB Nicknames starts at ($2.50 USD) which isn't to wild. Under the Donations tab there is a ($1.00 USD) option which is also totally fine as it just helps the server run!
So in conclusion this server ranks A for me! it has some flaws but it also offers a lot of really good features, builds and other things to enjoy! This server has a great community and nice staff! So if they keep working hard it will pay off in the long run!
But don't take my word for it go play the server for yourself!
Ip: play.prismparty.net
Disclaimer: Just know these reviews aren't personal or anything and don't take anything I have to say for law, its just my silly opinion! So with that being said don't send any hate towards the Owner, Staff or the server that I review! Lastly if there is a server you wish for me to review feel free to drop me an ask and I will try to review it
Keep on mining!

Guess What? More Headcanons. â¨ď¸Video Game Editionâ¨ď¸
-Darlin plays rhythm games. Osu on their pc (no, they're not going to buy a tablet. Their fingers "got used to holding the mouse"), project sekai on their phone, a variety of piano-tiles-like games - you name it. Sam is quite happy about this, as rhythm games are something he can quickly get the gist of (unlike Smash and such) and feed into Darlin's competitive nature by teasing them when he's done better than them on a certain beatmap or a certain song on project sekai. There's that, but sometimes when Darlin can't sleep, they accidentally wake Sam with their frantic button-smashing because Osu mania is the only thing they play when they can't sleep.
-Angel plays Minecraft, as established, but Stardew Valley and the Sims hold a special place in their heart. David doesn't get it, but Angel finds some special joy in creating things and (depending on the game) interacting with cute characters. And while he might see more of an appeal in the likes of Smash, David loves seeing how excited they get whenever they show him something new they've built, which, he must admit, they are pretty good at that.
-Baabe plays type racers. Anything that has them smash words into their keyboard is an A-tier game to them (you can tell they chose the office job they have). But to give Asher's ears a break from the furious typing and clicking sounds from time to time, Baabe also plays narrative and story-driven games, including dating sims. And yes, they've forced Ash through Doki Doki Literature Club at one point. Being the creative person they are, Baabe also enjoys taking a more critical look at video games for their value in terms of story and finds themself ranting endlessly to their mate sometimes when they've just finished playing a particularly uninteresting or bad game (Their reason for forcing themself through those games is always: "It might get better, and even if it doesn't - I paid for it, so I should get the full experience." Which Ash commonly counters with: "But you're hating the experience." The response is then always: "That's part of it!").
-Sweetheart loves watching Milo scare the shit out of himself with games they picked for him, we already know that. And while they enjoy horror as much as Milo hates it, their guilty video game pleasure is anything and everything with an open world. They just love sitting down and exploring a huge map for hours on end. It's even better whenever Aggro comes to lay in their lap and gives them an excuse not to get up.

Disregarding any canon video games presented in Twisted Wonderland, what so you think are the house warden's favourite video game(s) (if it is a game series)?
Ooooh, disregarding the video games canon in-game, you say? Ok! Mwahahahahaha. I am so excited for this ask! I will stick to video games I have played at least a couple times.
Riddle- Riddle is someone I think would enjoy mobile games. I picture him enjoying the brightly coloured ones, so something like Candy Crush; where he can follow the rules and progress linearly, as the gods intended. I think he'd also find it a bit relaxing because, while it does work the brain for finding patterns and strategizing when to use certain power-ups, it's not overly difficult and the stakes are low. He can do it in between rounds of studying. Yes, you heard me right. When you study with Riddle, every session feels like a battle round.
Leona- I don't think Leona feels very strongly toward video games in general. If he were to choose one he enjoys, I think he'd want a mentally stimulating one; something like a puzzle or strategy game. But I don't think he'd want one too plot-heavy because it would require a higher level of effort, and he just wants to relax. I think he'd like online Mahjong Solitaire. It's not like he has to pay attention to a story, but he still gets the mental stimulation of finding patterns and figuring out a strategy (strategy matters so much. I have to use the undo button so much when I play because just because a move is 'possible' does not mean it is 'right'). It's also a rather quiet game, so he could put on some relaxing background noise and play until he's ready to take a nap or go to bed.
Azul- Azul likes the simulation games. Specifically, the business simulation ones. I think his favourite would be some good ol' classic Papa's Pizzeria. It starts off slow, and he likes to see how far he can get. Every time he plays, he's challenging himself to make it a level further. I honestly think Azul thrives when his attention is split; so jumping between the pizza stations and customer orders for him is no problem.
Kalim- I think Kalim would like the appeal of an open world game; one where he can travel freely and do things as he feels like doing them. I think he could be very creative but that he would want the ability to pick up and leave creative projects as the mood strikes him. He's doing this for enjoyment; it's not a job. Also, I think he'd really like the idea of in-game pets. That's why I think he would like Minecraft the most. He can tame dogs and cats, he can farm animals, he can mine for resources, he can build as little or as much as he wants, and he has an entire map to explore with no time-sensitive quests or NPC's following him around.
Vil- Honestly, I don't think Vil has an opinion on a whole lot of video games. I think he finds them enjoyable, but that he's for the most part neutral to a lot of them. I do think Vil gets lonely and wants to spend time with friends, and I think he'd enjoy a video game that can be played as a group. So, for Vil I chose Mario Party 8 (because that's the version I'm most familiar with). I think he would like the cute little character designs, and I think he'd love that he can play it with Rook, Epel, Yuu, and Grim. There would be a lot of fun and laughter and I think that is something he's been craving since he was a child; a group of friends he can just relax with and be a little silly with, and not have to worry about making sure he looks really good at all times because it's silly and it's fun and honestly no one is good at all the minigames.
Idia- Idia seems to enjoy games with stories, and especially games with heroes who have odds stacked against them. Not to focus too much on Idia's inspiration, but I do think Idia would really like Hades. I think he'd enjoy the ever-changing layout of the underworld, that he'd like trying different routes and the different weapons and upgrades you can get. He'd enjoy the sarcasm of the main character, and I think he'd like the art and aesthetic of the game. Also, the music is fucking fire. I love it. Slaps so hard. I think Idia would like it too!
Malleus- I think he'd like Giga Pets Explorer. For those who don't know, it's a Giga pets game that comes with a little giga pet you can have in your pocket and carry around to take care of, but it also is a TV game, with another pet you can do quests and missions with on the big-screen. You can even plug the little handheld giga pet into the TV controller and the little pet will follow your larger pet around (this also gains you access to specific areas, though I can't remember exactly which ones - I think either an island or a beach-. If I seem to know a lot, it's because my sister got one for her birthday one year when we were all still in elementary school and all three of us would play it in turns together). It's canon that Malleus likes little pocket-pet games and wants them to have friends, and so I think he would absolutely love this game. Lilia might have to tear him away from the controller to eat and do schoolwork though...lol.
There you go, those are my picks for the Housewarden's fave video games, ignoring of course the video games already canon to the game. LOL. Hope you enjoyed my answers, and let me know what you think! Which video games would you assign to each Housewarden?
#twisted wonderland#housewardens#headcanons#video games#my headcanons#kimium#thanks so much for the ask friend#could you tell Leona was the most difficult for me to figure out?#I love him but he really needs to figure out some hobbies that are not just 'nap'. LOL

Copying Structures from one map to another
I have not posted here for awhile, especially since the Xbox version of Minecraft was imported and merged with Bedrock. However, I found something interesting, that I thought was worth posting for those who ran into this issue and could not find help anywhere else on the internet.
I came across this YouTube video regarding copying one structure from one map to another in Bedrock.
youtube
However, all my attempts at doing this were unsuccessful. First, my Xbox had no "Export" button. I found out you need a PC for this. Second, when I did switch to the realm on my PC, I was able to Export successfully but was not able to Import successfully, as the button was completely grayed out. I found out to an old Reddit post, this is not possible on on a Realm. So I switched my Realm to a local map on my Xbox, and then invited my PC account to the game session. To my dismay, the "Import" button was still grayed out. I tinkered with some settings (Creative Mode, Enable Cheats) and nothing worked. Then I figured it out.
The HOST of the map must be on a PC to "Import". This is especially annoying since I was playing on my sister's map who exclusively plays on Xbox so I had to logon to her account on my PC, download her map off her realm, import my structure (which disappointingly is limited to 64x64x64, so I had to break it up into 9 chunks), then reupload the map to her realm. C'mon Microsoft....

hi, happy christmas. its been a weird year for me and that reflected pretty heavily in the amount of new things i released, so i wanna offer this as a consolation: a small chunk of the broville video essays script for your troubles. thanks for sticking around
(text transcription under the "keep reading")
"From here, you have the personal freedom to go anywhere you want. Various buildings are scattered around Fractal Island that have warps to their related areas within Broville's main continent, and Fractal Island itself is one big fully explorable area. You could call it a "mini-Broville" of sorts.
You might pop into the Visitors Center and check out the warp recommendations in there, you might decide to keep things simple and press the "TAKE ME TO THE CITY RIGHT NOW" button, you might immediately walk off the road into the nearby forest and find some especially out-there warps and secrets, you might say fuck it and start breaking the logs off buildings and crafting your tools from those, hell nothing's stopping you from manually riding a boat all the way over to the main continent if you like, wanna do that. There's no guiding force leading you to the one definitive area to start in, no forced handholding, just some suggestions if the amount of options available overwhelms you. It's the perfect introduction to Broville.
The rest of the map follows this same design philosophy - the only thing leading you to certain areas is your own interest in them, you can stumble upon a new area by accident or on purpose and choose to stay or check it out later. It's possible you noticed the name SOLAR Corp. keep popping up throughout the map, and decide to take a visit to their campus. Or maybe you randomly stumbled upon the Metro blue line minecart network and decided to take a visit down to the baseball stadium station. It's a very⌠freeing experience.
This map has no big objective. At all. Your only objective is "explore the world" and that's it. I was in an especially busy college month a little while ago and couldn't start up a new commercial game because I knew I would have to immensely dedicate my time to it to get the full experience. But, I still wanted to play something, there had to be something I could fit into my schedule. Broville was that something.
There's almost nothing you have to keep track of like you would most other games; no story to remember, no special gameplay mechanics you might forget about since it's still just using Minecraft's gameplay as a base. You can pick it up and explore it for however long you want to before putting it down, then 2 months later come back to it like nothing ever happened. You might forget a little bit of the map's lore but that barely even matters when there's always new lore to find, new experiences to be had, especially when the world is as gigantic as it is."

The Front Preview (Steam Early Access)

For our The Front Preview, we play a survival open-world crafting shooter. We play the role of a resistance fighter sent back in time to stop the rise of a tyrannical empire. Collect resources, craft tech, build shelters, and fight monsters to accomplish our mission.
The Front Preview Pros:
- Decent high-quality graphics. - 37.99GB Download size. - Graphics settings - dynamic resolution, graphics preset, windowed mode, fps, shader effects, anti-aliasing, shadows, view distance, texture quality, visual effects, foliage quality, FSR, and gamma correction. - Mouse and keyboard options - Invert axis and sensitivity sliders, the field of view slider, can remap controls, set aiming mode, advance mode, camera follow, and helicopter control styles. - Streaming mode - profanity on/off. - Server browsers are split into 3 types - Official, dedicated, and solo/hosted games. - Create your own dedicated server with your own options for - name, password, player limit, survival mechanics, and how resources work. There is a lot to tweak. - Solo/hosted also houses a crazy amount of settings just like the dedicated server. I mean you can edit jump height, exp rate, how much food will fill you up and so much more. - Two modes of play - PvP and PvE. - One main map with a second beta test version of a new map. - Basic character creator - male/female, head, hairstyle, and hair color. - Has Ark vibes for the game options, choosing a spawn point, etc. - Open-world survival gameplay. - Hunger, thirst, and stamina mechanics are in play by default. - Punch and collect resources from the world. - Full day and night cycle with different weather effects - Earn exp from everything and unlock new quests, crafting, and more. - Full crafting and recipe system. - Play how you want but you do get quests to help keep you on track. - On screen exp bar fills up as you earn exp. - The ui can be tweaked to your liking but it's very clear and has a lot of trackers on it. - All your hunger, thirst, health, etc is displayed in the corner. - Compass helps navigate the world. - The map lets you filter by points of interest, it fills in question marks as you explore and you can put your own markers down. - Familiar controls. - You can craft weapons and items to hunt the many animals. - Massive tech tree that populates as you level up - basic, weapons, structures, vehicles, gear, supplies, and technology. - Basic tools and weapons can be crafted in the inventory menu whilst bigger things require a crafting table. - When starting out you have a protection status to help ease you in, after level 10 that's it you are all grown up! - Just like Ark and Minecraft you hit trees, rocks, etc, and get the materials, different levels of tools change the speed and amount of materials you get. - You can just hold down the action button for swinging axes and using weapons etc. - There is AI in the game and they are usually hostile! - Set more within the modern world with broken down cars, and settlements to find. - By default when you die you drop everything in a crate and you can then try and get it back. - Once dead you can respawn in a designated place or respawn where you died. - Fantastic looking world. - Very addictive for those who like to craft and explore. - Territory flags help keep structures and items together but you can get raided in PvP. - Weapons and tools degrade with use and eventually break. - It does feel like a living world even in solo play. - All the quests have progress numbers to help. - Moving the mouse cursor on the map shows cos ordinates. - You can fast-travel between your placed markers. - Vehicles are a huge part and I mean you can build tanks! Or tractors, I mean you wanna eat. - Traps can be for humans or animals. - The base building is some of the best I've seen. - It goes to the level of you can program doors to open, set up alarms and generators and so much more. - Each time I advanced in the era of weapons and tools it felt like a whole new game and world again. The Front Preview Cons: - No controller support. - Very daunting opening screens of menu options. - No real tutorial as such and instead is just a load of quests and checklists. - Very basic character creator and even calling it that is a stretch. - So much to take in especially if this is your first foray into open-world survival games. - Combat is very button-mashy. - You can completely break the game with the settings. - Takes a long time to get going in terms of base building and getting familiar with the combat. - If you let it the game can just destroy your productivity in the real world. - The animations of the Raiders and Ai is quite robotic. - Animals don't move and react that well. - A lot of the performance can be up and down. - A big undertaking. - Griefing can get out of hand quickly. - Building and surviving on the PvP side of things is really tough. - Few hit detection and building detection issues. - The controls can be awkward and I mean more the ones where you have to hold a button to press a button. I may have bought Minecraft for my computer. I also am reminded harshly every time I open it that I do in fact have a texture pack going on my Switch (itâs the free updated texture beta pack in the marketplace, I donât know how to get in on Java, tho I could just actually go find texture packs or shaders now soâŚ)
Itâs really just the look of ores that is jarring but like itâs fine
I like having an off hand that is functional for more than just holding maps and shields. Love being able to place torches with it.
Donât like that flying in creative mode is so floaty. Thatâs not fun.
I did have to redo the keybinds for the mouse. On Switch, break blocks/attack is ZR and place blocks/use is ZL so it makes more sense for my brain for them to be right click and left click respectively. The mouse wheel scroll through the hot bar is gonna take some getting used to, as well as the number keys. I love the middle mouse button pick-block thing in creative. Iâve seen it used by a few YouTubers and I was like how do I do that? I donât think you can do it on the Switch.
Iâm horribly bad at WASD controls, but thatâs honestly just a universal for me. Part of why Binding of Isaac is so rough for me (besides just being bad at it) is because of WASD (and the arrow keys) (and Iâm bad at it). I just really prefer the two analog sticks on my switch for move/camera. Iâm getting better tho. As long as my cursor doesnât glitch and stay on screen weâre fine.
I found out that if I donât put it in full screen my computer doesnât overheat as fast (or at all really). Learned this after my entire computer froze while I was playing and also screen recording (lost the screen record btw which was fine I didnât like how it was going anyway). Donât know what this means other than I play on a five year old MacBook Air, not known for being particularly beefy machines.
I like that the pause screen actually pauses. It doesnât always on my switch. I got in the habit of just turning the switch off when I have to go away for a sec.
I love that I can make an actual custom skin and not really have to worry about the game resetting it randomly (a problem I have on my Switch). The skin I made is so cute. Itâs got teal hair and horns and overalls and cute little black and purple markings on one arm. Itâs got purple eyes! Really said: âwhat would make teenage me happy? And went with it.
(I wanna be clear that I love playing Minecraft on my Switch. It was the first place I ever played it, I love the controls, I love Bedrock edition even if it is a little funky sometimes. Thereâs just some things Iâm seeing with Java that I really like also.)
Oh and my favorite: single biome worlds. I forgot that was a thing in Java Edition, and I am so pumped. I donât like doing super hard challenges (I will probably never play a Hardcore game; I rarely play on Normal difficult as it is), but the challenge of âyou have one biome and you have to make it workâ is very very tasty.
So a very lovely Rosh Hashanah gift to me, and a good way of making myself feel a little better after one of our cats died this week.
(Oh and is Keep Inventory not considered a cheat in Java? I made a peaceful world with it and was able to do that while also keeping âallow cheatsâ set to off. If so, this is very good news bc it is a cheat on Bedrock and I have no sense of direction and if I die without keeping my inventory I will have to start from scratch minus whatever I have at my home.)
#Minecraft#java edition minecraft#bedrock edition Minecraft#pet death mention#it happened Wednesday and Iâm more settled now#I was able to say goodbye to him Thursday morning and that was a bit of closure I needed

Randomness In Games
Randomness in game is where the player has no choice over what happens and a combination of things could be different every time. The point of making this is to keep the player entertained and making the game fun every time, not knowing how the game is going to play out.
One game that uses randomization every time that you hit the play button is world of tanks every time that you hit the play Battle button you get put one of the 33 different maps, and each maps has a choice of 3 different game modes.
Another part of world of tanks that's random is the way that the accuracy works and the way that the player deals damage to people and the amount of damage they do. The game uses a random number generator to determine accuracy and the damage dealt to the enemy.
Fortnite has a bit if a randomized loot pool where the player has no idea what loot they are going to find and what items of use they are going to find.
Flabby bird uses randomness as to where the next gap is going to be to keep the player concentrating on making the right adjustments to keep the game going and the score factor making the game fun and addictive.
Super Hot uses randomization of there endless mode to determine where all the AI spawn and how many of them spawn, they either come few at a time or they come in many at a time and it's also random what they spawn with like guns or melee weapons.
Battle bit remastered has element of randomness to it as the game as the map develops more as the game get longer because people have randomly destroyed buildings, and turned the map into a warzone.
Minecraft has a lot of randomness to it where the player has no idea what seed they have unless they have picked it out what seed they have, the game also has randomly generated loot in chest where you could get the best items in the game or some of the worst.
GTA is very random as no online lobby is ever the same like one can have a couple of people in and another one can have up to 30 people the car spawns are all random but some spawn more than others but you can never guarantee a spawn.
Bomberman Tournament uses randomness as the player can get 10 different random items to allow the player to complete the game and effectiveness is also random on these items adding another layer of complexity. The randomness does'nt just effect the items it also effects the player as it also effects the amount of the items the player can hold.

This ARG was floating in my mind, thinking about it, so I decided to make it as a story Or ARG Whatever you can call it. Enjoy.
Recently, Someone who goes by the name "Michael" Decided to look around at his old abandoned family house from 10 Year's ago, as he finding his old belong's, such as old picture's his old toy's and more, he spotted his old black Laptop from 2014, he remember's the Great time when he was a kid messing with that Laptop, he finally decided to take it to his main house and hope if it work's once again, with his excitement coming from his eye's as a surprise for him when he charged the laptop it gives that sweet green light button as it looks like it's getting charged, Michael himself was really confused and happy at the same time, how does an old 10 Year's computer would work so often?, weird.
The laptop is on its greeting screen, it seem's like Michael is struggling with the password, as he finally remembered it and types it, finally it opened, a chill window's 7 background we all know was in the appearance, Michael felt pretty nostalgic as he move's the mouse around the screen, he noticed a folder on his left, titled "My Games!!1" as he double clicked it, he saw all his old games as he remember's every moment on those games when he was a kid, there was Gmod, Minecraft, Doom, and many many more!, he began to scroll down and down until he sees the most game he remember's playing the most.. "ROBLOX", an old client takes back to the year 2014, he used a USB cable to transfer every game on his old laptop, to his new computer, after that he tries them all as he continues to play them on their previous Save States, and many more!
After that, he looked at his video's folder as it seems to be having video's, he seem confused because he don't remember record things on his computer, he clicked at the folder as a lot of video of Roblox only, not recording any other game.
First Video 1#: rroblox8.avi | Dates in September 2th | 2014
The video seems to be low quality, of course it should be because it's an old laptop couldn't handle a high resolution quality after all, The video seems to be on the beloved Roblox game "CrossRoad" Looks like there are no player as I was playing alone, the audio seem to play and cut and unsynchronized, my Roblox character were walking around for a few minutes, as the more minutes goes by, the more laggy the video is going, I zoomed on first person as I stopped moving my house for a few second's, I slowly start to turn around and the video were glitching until it finally cutoff.
Video ended.
Michael Was pretty confused but he understands how an old processor can't really handle this such a long time that even the video's are hard to watch, he tries to understand why it cutoff when the character turned around, he question about it, but he didn't seem to care enough about the question.
First Video 2#: MyBuild8.avi | Dates in February 12th | 2014
The video are still on it's garbage quality once again, but we can still see through the game, I was on the game called "Basebrick", A game where you fly all over the map and create building's using old Roblox tool's, It appear's that I am once again alone on this server, I was building a big red house with an unfinished celling, I trying to finish it after a player have suddenly appears, the name seems to be covered with the massive bad quality.
<``````>: What's wrong Supy, Still scared?
<shaggyboy>: Hello
Video suddenly Ended after a long blackout screen.
suddenly, The weird player left, Michael was left with confusion and shocked, he remember's that he doesn't understand alot of English (Grammar) when he was little. so that's why he left with a "Hello" as a response, Michael was still confused about this suddenly moment, but as we dig deep down, we will find some part missing in this mystery.
First Video#3: Madefriend.avi | February 23th | 2014
The video suddenly opened with a massive loud glitch noise and glitched video with alot of color's going here and there.
the video finally got on track and look's like there are 3 people in this server. (The experience Name was left unnamed) The two people's username was "Patrick66" And "Dreem1" And "shaggyboy" (Michael's username). looking on the game itself, look's like it's a fighting game of sword's, with the stage was just like a matching boxing, as we all fighting in the middle of the game. the video cut's to black. suddenly, text's began to slowly show up.
"Revisit."
And it return to it's normal main screen of fighting
<Dreem1>: GTG
<shaggyboy>: Aww bye
<Patrick66>: Me 2 LOL!
<shaggyboy>: bye bye XD
The two remaining player's left, leaving Michael the only one in this server. as he were exploring around the place, he suddenly stopped. The screen of the video were slowly turning black as the video were began to glitch more and more, as it glitches. you can see some text popping up saying "You disrespected them" the text showed, as it slowly fedding out.
The video Ended.
This Story is in Work Of Progress (WIP) There have to be some change's of spelling or anything else whatsoever. If you experience some misspelled word's be sure to give me your Feedback.
(Video 3 Was with help of a partner. Huge credit to them)
Your's Truly
