You mindlessly clicked away at the mouse as you kept building your base ignoring how your boyfriend was grumbling about something before he leaned up against you from behind, “What the fuck are you playing?” He asked as his arms wrapped around your waist. “Minecraft..wanna play with me?” You replied leaning into him feeling his scruff rub against your cheek as he kissed the side of your head. He grumbled and snickered, “Nah looks fucking stupid.” You scoffed pausing mid build to turn to him as he smirked, “It’s not stupid Adam.” You replied ignoring the smirk on his face as he cupped your face and kissed you, “It’s stupid~” He chimed once more between kisses, “You’d have a better time riding my cock than playing this stupid game.” You pulled away from him flustered beyond belief. “It’s not stupid Adam, it’s relaxing. You can kill monsters and build anything you want.” That piqued his interest but he huffed leaning away to scratch at his stomach, his wings stretching out before laying flat against his back in a lazy manner. “Build anything I want AND kill monsters?” He grumbled before huffing, “Fine. I’ll play with you.” A grin stretched across your lips before you got up and moved to set up an account for him on his own computer.

It’s been a couple hours since you helped him get the game on his computer- you even helped design his own minecraft skin and now he was running around your world, mooching off your own well earned items. But you didn’t mind as you chuckled every time he died and yelled about it Creepers were his number one enemy in the game. He claimed they were too silent and they looked, “Like a green dildo walking around” which. He wasn’t wrong but it was weird hearing him say it with such anger.

After an hour or so he had calmed down enough to start building a castle, “Babe- baby?” He called out, making you hum in return, “Yes, Adam?” You yawned and leaned back to stretch, your wings puffing out as well. You were gonna have to get up in a moment and actually stretch out. “What happened to all the stone you had?” He grumbled checking through all the chests in your base. “You probably used it all up, baby. You’re gonna have to go out and get more.” He let out a loud groan and turned to you pouting, “I’m not spending hours mining for you, Love. You’re a big boy.”

He groaned and turned back to his screen, “You’re no fun..” He grumbled out causing you to roll your eyes. “I’ll make it up to you later-” You said before he cut you off with a loud laugh, “BABY LOOK I MADE A DICK-”

The idea is that Papyrus didn't kill anyone. But Seam doesn't know that.

What happened is.. something.. swept through the underground and killed everyone. It wasn't a human or a monster. It wasn't even really a person.. It was just.. something.

Maybe it was a sound, a song? And everyone stepped outside to hear it. Only to be obliterated all at once..

Papyrus for some reason wasn't killed. And he was left all alone. The event left him so traumatized that he.. didn't really truly process it? Papyrus just goes through his usual daily routine as if nothing is wrong.

The land around Papyrus started to deteriorate though. With no one to run the core and regulate the temperatures.. Hotlands cooled down and Snowdin warmed up. All the snow melted, the trees and grass became dehydrated and died.

There was no new food being grown or made so everything expired. Papyrus was left with just soup cans and non perishables. With Sans "not being around" to patch his battle body.. it started to develop tears and busted seams overtime..

This AU is horrible. And Papyrus has basically completely lost his mind. And he had nothing to do with it.. it just.. happened. They all just.. died. And anything else he had in his life started to decay overtime too..

Its a shame that this situation ended up making Papyrus look like the villain. If Seam had known the truth, maybe things would have been different..

In my AU there are not multiple chain chomps. There is only 1 chain chomp. And he is this huge disgusting pile of molten metal and teeth, whos very spine is bolted to the castles basement floor. Its this absolutely horrible creature, whos as big as a 2 story house. It makes horrible inhuman sounds.. and it always hungry..

Due to it being locked away in Bowsers basement, the bros have never encountered it thankfully. But if they ever did, it would probably try to eat them.. And the only power ups that could really damage the chain chomp would be the super star. Which is very rare and the bros haven't exactly learned how to control it yet..

Man, purgatory has been a WILD journey as a mainly-phil viewer, from the first day when people were posting about how they weren't going to be watching because it was too demoralizing to watch an obviously doomed team (I like seeing how people face unwinnable fights so I was like I'll stay), to now, when it is revealed more that the eye DOES want obviously doomed teams and is designing unfair challenges right left and centre, but somehow the red team has pulled together through the power of carre left-clicking, group barking, philza minecraft kindly domming the team into learning how to play the actual game, some of the most cursed discussions possible (breast milk and eggs?), inescapable waves of bloodlust, and foolish gamers just being Like That when it comes to castle building. To now, when they get a bye in the death game. I did NOT see this coming a week ago.

Fake logo designs of various districts/companies in Hermitcraft S8! Something about Hermitcraft brings out the graphic designer in me (*cough* it’s because I love worldbuilding and making tiny details in a world) anyway!

Design notes under cut! (Alongside some headcanons - it is quite long)

Horse Head Farms: this is the logo that started this idea basically. I got such a cool image of an eclipse with a repeated b+w horse head pattern and I really wanted to make it happen. M.C. Esher has done designs like these but as tiles, which I used as inspiration. I think I could have made it look a bit clearer but for my first time drawing something like this I’m pretty happy. The text is from one of the default Procreate fonts and kinda makes HHF look like a law firm (which is the vibe I was going for, soul-stealers and lawyers are often sorta linked in fiction, and supposedly xB and Hypno are their own legal team). xB and Hypno are the only employees other than the people they blackmail into doing stuff for them.

Big Eyes: I wanted a red eyeball as a reference to Tango’s amazing prank on Boatem and I imagine it’s a goofy little mascot for the company. Some big goofy text felt fitting alongside this. I wanted to make a Pass n Gas specific logo too but I wanted to focus on the main “districts” rather than specific shops. I feel like this is kind of obvious but in-universe Big Eyes are VERY unsuccessful and actively losing money.

Hohenzollern Castle: not really a company but Joe and Cleo are cool so I wanted to include them and I had a tiny bit of blank space left on the page so here we are. I actually really love how the sign looks, the wood texture came out nice. They don’t have a logo as much as they do a sign outside their area, created by Joe, with the text written by Joe’s dyes. The “Hohenzollern” is kinda squished because he began to run out of room but was too stubborn to split the word in half. Cleo argues that it isn’t a logo and is just a sign with the castle’s name on it. Joe argues back with a deconstruction of “what is a logo, really?” and something about companies and capitalism and Cleo doesn’t care enough to respond.

Octagon: I am a fool who initially thought it was spelt “Octogon” and had to fix it well after I finished. Oh well. I wanted this to have a very evil look about it. You can instantly tell they’re the evil tech company running experiments on the quantum realm or whatever in a Hollywood movie. Between the unsafe work conditions and the tax fraud, it is a miracle they haven’t been shut down (reason: the government is scared of Doc)

The Evil Empire: the “the” wouldn’t fit so I had to make some sacrifices. Evil Xisuma is dramatic and edgy so he wanted the logo to be in fancy black calligraphic medieval looking text. It fits the evil castle aesthetic the whole area has pretty well too. The Evil Empire is kinda like a Hot Topic store and a Renaissance Fair combined, but it is also involved with Crypto. Despite being so weird it has a perfect niche of marketing to edgy teenagers so it is quite successful. The employees hate it there because their work mandated uniform is to “dress like an evil minion”. Jevin is a slime monster, Wels cosplays a knight and Beef turned into an alien so they thankfully didn’t have to change.

Boatem (BTM): heavily inspired by Grian’s simplified logo he made in Minecraft, where he shortened it to BTM. Despite already having a reference to work off, this was the hardest design. I knew I wanted it to be simple, all-white and leaning back dramatically but I spent ages fiddling with it. Boatem is the most successful company, being perfect for the general public and their shopping district a tourist destination in of itself. It nearly went into bankruptcy when Mumbo was CEO but has been very successful since his Robot took over.

Zedaph Laboratories: my favourite design. Hand writing the text was a nightmare but it came together nicely other than that. Sheep symbol because sheep are his brand. I used the same colour palette as his laboratory. “Laboratory” is misspelled for two reasons: 1) I realised my mistake too late to change it, 2) I think it is completely in character for Zedaph to not know how to spell laboratory and only realise after Tango points it out and be forever haunted by his mistake. Don’t let the sleek corporate design fool you, Zedaph is still wild and is the only person in the “Zedaph Labratories”.

original story concept: flight feathers (working title)

aka me shoving my new OCs in everyone's faces for a few minutes. low and behold, my gang of losers:

so a wayward beam of divine insanity lightning struck me about four months ago in the form of the first genuinely coherent original story idea i've had in... basically forever and i am finally crawling out of my mad ornithologist lab to talk about it, if only so i have something to point to when i start tagging random innocuous text posts with the names of characters no one's ever heard of. this project is perhaps the most self-indulgent Autism Fueled venture i have ever gone on and it is so fun actually

the basic gist of the story is that local Teenage Bird Hater Selene accidentally gets isekai'd to a Greco-Roman/baroque-inspired city on a floating archipelago hidden in the clouds, inhabited by bird-worshipping winged people. there she befriends a strange one-winged fortune teller named Phoenix, who takes her in while she looks for a way back down to earth.

as a certified Bird Disliker(tm) for reasons she will absolutely not disclose, the idea of being trapped in this city with its strange bird-entrenched culture has got to be Selene's personal hell. but she's already made a few good friends and is learning a lot, so hey... if you ignore the castle surrounded by doves looming off in the distance, and the general poor sentiment surrounding corvids, maybe it's not such a bad place to be after all.

...until it turns out the King himself might have it out for her, much to the dismay of his son and loyal knight, Prince Helios and Captain Killian.

there is. A Lot more to it than that lol—and at least like 8 more characters i haven't gotten to drawing yet—but there's your elevator pitch. to explain the world a bit more, everyone has bird wings to fly with, their own Bird Familiars(tm), and rides around on pegasi and different species of griffin. the world consists of little islands connected by bridges, with the city developed vertically, and sort of resembles a fusion between the Aether mod in Minecraft and Zephyr Heights in MLP G5.

some notes:

Selene is transfem :), Helios is transmasc only because i tried giving him curled ram horns and got so frustrated trying to draw them i just gave up and gave him the ewe ones instead

Selene is a Wolf Kid and really vibes with the lyrics to Angel of Darkness on a personal level

Helios's wings are weak and undersized so he can't take off or fly for very long on his own

i like to consider Helios my personal challenge to design the most unapologetically cringe and archetypal character ever. i am going to make a character that is so sad little loser prince. kicks him

Hi I came across a post of people being shitty about Daisy so y'know what actually time to talk about her character in the royalty au!!

-Works at Quackfaster's pub (tavern?)!

-It was originally Quackfaster's, Daisy started working there just to get by, and now they're coowners!

-They had a silly mentor/apprentice thing going for a while, and though now they're equals they still do carry a little bit of that dynamic.

-She does want to be a fashion designer, originally working at the pub was just a way to make ends meet but she's kind of been stuck there for a while now.

-Blue was actually Quackfaster's charge, but it's Daisy who does better at welcoming them and actually taking them in.

-She's only a few years older than them but she definitely does 'mom' them. She has a tendency to fuss over people's outfits (fashion designer) and ends up doing that to them a lot.

-Once Blue was more or less fired they hired Donald in their place, Daisy didn't really like him at first.

-She does eventually warm up to him and grows to like him and idk what I want to do with their relationship yet but if they do ever get to anything romantic it takes forever. Years.

-Daisy has wayyyyyy too much of a temper to be working at a pub full of drunk people, there's bar fights and I'd say about 30% of the time she does start them (Quackfaster starts a good number of them too. Lady brings a sword to work). If a drunk guy catcalls her she will punch him between the eyes and throw him out.

-Off-topic but they do! have a door guard, it's Manny! He's not going to be a headless man horse- I'm trying to come up with some other huge creature-like thing. I'm thinking something similar to a Minecraft Iron Golem, he's a statue-like thing that's there to stop fights, kick people out, and just overall protect the place (while Blue lives there he's good friends with them).

-She likes cooking! The pub mostly gives out drinks but she will prepare dinners every now and then when there's not too many customers.

-She does live at the pub, the second story/attic serves as a living space for her and Quackfaster. It's just one bedroom though, so when Blue lived there they slept behind the counter downstairs (they have a little back room area with a fireplace and stuff for the three of them to hang out, Blue wasnt just sleeping on the floor with the beer or something ssldkfj).

-This isn't something that's fully developed yet so idk if it's going to be canon but I'm thinking eventually Blue does get her connected with some people at the castle, and she does get funding to open her own dress shop! She's built up too much of a community at the pub to just leave it completely (and Quackfaster can't do it all on her own and Donald's just there to clean tables and dishes), so she does still work there in the evening and lives close.

-If that is a storyline I decide to go with she is extremely successful. She's out here living her dream now <3
