meanwhile: you got a card. $3,000 limit. spent $1,200.

your statement says: “Minimum due: $35 😄”

you pay it. feel smart. but months later, the balance hasn’t dropped. you’re paying interest on interest.

that “0% APR for 12 months” thing? it ends. you blink, and BOOM — your balance is hit with 25% back-charged interest. and the points you earned? barely cover a $5 Starbucks drink.

banks want you to think credit = freedom. but the moment you carry a balance? you’re paying THEM.

$1,000 charged = $250+ interest in a year = "freedom" my ass.

how to not get played:

pay your balance in full.

never use a credit card to buy something you couldn’t buy with cash.

ignore the flashy cashback, points, miles.

know your APR.

credit = tool, not money.

you’re not bad with money. you just weren’t taught how the game works. and the banks? they like it that way.

learn the game. then break it.

ecuador is truly an experience bcs we are constantly going through everything and it constantly gets worse because what the fuck do you mean theres a forest fire in Guapulo, another one in Vilcabamba, like theres forest fires amid a water crisis due to its WORTS drought in 61 YEARS! people dont have water in certain places, electricity cuts that last AT LEAST 8 hours because of the energy crisis in the entire nation, and yet!!! we are expected to go as if nothing is going on!!!!
