MLP Redesigns/Rewrite Pt 1: Twilight Sparkle [And a Starlight Glimmer Rant]

When Celestia made Twilight an Alicorn, it didn’t make her immortal or taller. Other than a small magic boost and a pair of regular Pegasus wings to get used to, Twilight stayed the same.

That was until she and her friends answered the call to investigate Starlight Glimmer’s cult. Instead of having an ugly magic table map to tell them where to go, the elements themselves created a star that led the group to the secluded wasteland cult.

Twilight had always been very studious, even to the point of self isolating from classmates. After all, she had Spike, and could write to her brother, her old babysitter Cadance, her parents, and her mentor the Princess. Why did she need more friends? Even someone semi-likeminded and ambiverted like Moondancer was not given the time of day.

When Twilight got her Alicorn wings, it took her a very long time to learn to use them. Physical activity was never her strongest subject in school, she only took the class because it was required. However, she now had help from Rainbow Dash and the whole Apple family in training up her new wings. The Apples helped her increase her physical endurance, she learned to run farther and kick harder.

At the same time, Rainbow dash and her Wondercolt teammates taught Twilight how to exercise her new wings. It was very important for her to build their strength before even trying to hover: untested wings could not carry the weight of a Pegasus foal, much less a grown adult who was not born with wings.

Twilight began to travel back to Canterlot more often, both to study and to reconcile with old classmates. After she earned Moondancer’s forgiveness, she set her sights on Princess training. This time of course, without neglecting friends. Twilight realized that Luna and Celestia were not being honest with each other about their true feelings, and she and a visiting Fluttershy managed to get them to open up.

Discord warned Twilight that if she ever obtained immortality, she’d better pray for the mercy of having at least one immortal friend out of her main group. Twilight however, managed to come to terms with it after realizing her friends would not become immortal unless blessed with Alicorn status while wielding the elements. Even if the rest of her friends didn’t live forever, she’d still have Celestia, Luna, and him for company. And hopefully she’d be on good terms with future immortals who wielded the elements after her friends passed.

Twilight’s future job would be to teach morality, friendship, and respectfulness to pony kind, and to protect against invading kingdoms that may take advantage of a pure-hearted Equestria. If she didn’t obtain immortality, her writings would still be preserved and her ordinances and laws kept in effect unless something warranted an edit.

But referring back to the cult incident:

Starlight had been keeping tabs on the new developments in the world, without her cult victims knowledge. After all; she would have to make sure nobody could foil her plans for taking over Equestria and reshaping it to match her vision. Unlike the canon show, Starlight was not overpowered enough to steal the princesses cutie marks. [Seriously, why was she able to do that, and why was she able to get off Scott free?]

Anyways, Starlight had studied the history of the Elements of Harmony, and realized that they were capable of bestowing new powers and altering a user’s appearance. When powered up through frequent use, the elements would eventually gift their users a very valuable power up.

Discord wielded the Elements in the age of Draqonequus, and they both made him immortal and warped his appearance. His being able to keep his powers despite turning against the will of the Elements proved that they were unable to take back power once given out.

Princess Celestia and Luna were granted Alicorn status by Starswirl the bearded, but were at the power level of Twilight or Cadance until the Elements of Harmony gave them the trademark power boost. It turned their hair into some strange, ever-moving substance, gave them power to assist the movements of the sun and moon, and granted them immortality.

The problem was that the elements would not work for just anypony; Cadance had been expected to be the next user, but the gems did not respond to her attempts to recover them. Starlight couldn’t just summon them or steal them to obtain their power.

But if the Mane 6 were allowed to get their supercharged magic and new forms, she’d miss her chance. She wanted all 6 power boosts to overpower the two ascended princesses and take the kingdom for herself. So she came up with a very devious idea.

If she stole their cutie marks and managed to put them on herself all at once, she would theoretically be able to dupe the Elements into thinking she was their chosen users, and steal all that magic for herself. She just needed to lure the Mane 6 in and take the marks before they tried to fight her.

Starlight Glimmer began abusing her cult followers more and more, knowing that enough injustice would draw the Mane 6 to her hellhole “village” to fix whatever was going on. And at first it seemed to work.

Fluttershy became very ill, but that wasn’t such a big deal in Starlight’s mind. It was a good bargaining chip for getting the Mane 6 to grovel for help, and she could always just keep them locked in the solitary confinement bunker until the illness passed.

But then Fluttershy’s symptoms became more concerning, and word of it spread to the streets of the cult. She was suffering random and violent mood swings that led to her snarling, lashing out at the others, endless pacing, and charging into walls and random objects. The other Mane 6 members began to get early symptoms too, leading to fears that the village would be overtaken by this disease.

Starlight saw this as a wonderful opportunity! She could use it to gaslight her followers into seeing the outside kingdom as a terribly compromised, disease ridden hovel that they should seek to “fix”. After all, if their greatest warriors/envoys were so susceptible, what did that mean for the poor, unwashed masses of Equestria? The princesses were not able to help them, but they in their town had the medicine and the work ethic to save the world.

Starlights heinous plan backfired when the Elements sensed their users in danger and the great injustice taking place at her hooves. They appeared in front of the cutie mark-less Mane 6, healed their illness, and violently took their cutie marks back from their containment, alongside all the villager’s cutie marks.

Then every single Mane 6 member got their power up, and as Starlight had feared, Twilight got the most power of them all. Immortality and the power to influence the stars.

It had all gone wrong! She was supposed to win, she was supposed to prevent this! But that was a mistake she did not intend to repeat. The hunt to arrest her would soon reach a fever pitch, especially as the Mane 6 figured out how to work their new powers and her victims revealed details about the cult. The traitors. How could they do this to her, after all she had done for them?!

Starlight’s only hope was to reverse time and prevent these 6 ponies from ever getting their cutie marks and from ever meeting. She was not strong enough to take them as they were now, not even with the finest dark magic the criminal underworld had to offer.

She didn’t care who got hurt in the process of rewriting the timestream. After all, an Equestria pockmarked and weakened by multiple successful villain attacks was ripe for the taking. How would the ponies not get disillusioned with the Princesses for their failure to protect everyone? If not by storming the castle, she’d take control by campaigning for a government role and filling the cities with her empty promises.

So yeah, I didn’t like how Starlight was just… allowed to walk free after everything she did. She manipulated and abused an entire village and kept them in strict seclusion for years. Over a guy. Who didn’t even do anything heinous to her, he just left to study [as a child] and they fell out of contact.

Then she stalked the Mane 6 for months, so she could learn their weaknesses. She went back in time to prevent Equestria’s current defenders from getting together, with no regard towards the threat of villains they had defeated. Or the fact that she was erasing decades of pony lives over the 6 people she had a vendetta against. Think about how many lives she would have rewritten, even without the villains as a factor.

Starlight had to have heard about Discord, Tirek, Nightmare Moon, and Crysalis after studying the Mane 6 and wandering the cities of Equestria; she had to have known she was risking it all.

No Starlight, you losing a childhood friendship does not give you a pass for being a manipulative, isolating cult leader, trapping the Mane 6 in your cult with the intent of keeping them there indefinitely, and especially rewriting the timeline over getting defeated for it!

And the kicker is that Twilight knows this, she knows she hurt Moondancer, and she never became an abusive villain over it. She also knows Sunset Shimmer wanted power, but even she wasn’t this bad. She was manipulative, but the mind control gloves didn’t come on until she was corrupted with Twilight’s crown. She also didn’t confine people against their will in a random desert.

Starlight should have been placed in Tartarus with the likeminded Tirek. If they ever got back out and teamed up, it would either be the Mane 6 and Discord, or Twilight and Discord who defeated them. But that’s a story for another day.

Instead of Starlight raiding the changeling hive with Discord, Trixie and Thorax, a mix of old allies who didn’t live in Ponyville came.

Coco Pommel realized Rarity had missed an important deadline yet was radio silent about it.

RaRa noticed Applejack hadn’t written to her in a while, and they hadn’t had another falling out.

Maude sensed something was wrong.

Spike failed to visit Ember, something he would never do, not without sending a letter via dragon fire.

Gilda happened to be in town wanting to visit Rainbow Dash, but she was acting very… unloyal. Like they didn’t ever meet, and that wasn’t the kind of prank Rainbow would pull.

Moondancer was sent by the princesses after Twilight put off a visit to Canterlot that she wouldn't have wanted to miss.

Might make a future post about that event, but that’s all for now. More redesigns coming soon.

HIERARCHY OF

DREAMTALE

The hierarchy is important but it's not at the same time, because people that are more down in the hierarchy don't even knowledge it's existence, but the people above it knows it.

Let me tell you the details:

Hopeful is above everyone because he's THE HOPE, you should thank him just for existing.

Messiahs are people who help people across the multiverse, they're are sort of semi-gods, "blessed" by Hopeful, Neil uses his powers to organize the doodle-sphere avoiding it from crashing, Soul helps people in danger and bring them to Dreamtale. Both help Hopeful in a way.

Rich people are... self-explanatory, even thought dreamtale has socialist characteristics it also has capitalist characteristics (politics, out of nowhere, holy shit)

Icons are the people who represents a color in the rainbow system, and each color represent an element of harmony, which are 9 now: Empathy, generosity, laughter, humility, loyalty, honesty, bravery and... and magic... (is that an MLP FiM reference?????). They help to maintain the harmony inside dreamtale, while the messiahs do it outside dreamtale.

From dreamtale, weren't presented yet, even thought their designs aren't ready, without colors, i replaced some of Joku's OC's (that's not an offense) with undertale chrs, because... cuz' i wanted to :/. People from dreamtale are above Outsiders because they were born in dreamtale, they're "already blessed", they were born in "the paradise"

Outsiders are people from the multiverse, other AU's, rescued or not, that aren't from the rainbow system. They go there searching for a better life.

The drawings are kinda ugly but what matters is that it's showcasing the thing it's suppose to... if you did read that... i love you.

Shadow milk was known as the Stallion of Knowledge, and was Star Swirl the Bearded's mentor. He was one of the first five ponies of Equestria, known as The 5 Guiding Lights

Alicorns, who assigned these roles to the five ponies, who only the original 5 met, bestowed the Elements Of Unity to these five. However, upon corruption, became the elements of Chaos.

Now split into halves, through generations, five ponies would be Tested in their

Truth

Passion

Resolution

Abundance

And sense of Freedom.

To be bestowed these elements and keep them safe

The five ponies, trapped in the tree of harmony, were also freed when the elements of Harmony were released.

And so, the five ponies filter throughout Equestria, and invade territories, tempting the new Guiding Lights to the path of stray and temptation.

●It all started with u beeing good at drawing horses. Miles was impressed and asked how you draw so good.

"LIKE HOW??? ARE YOU SO GOOD AT DRAWING HORSES???

"Its cause I drew them alot"

●Miles was amazed on how knowledgeable about real facts on horses and the mythologyical one too. Unicorns? Alicorns? Pegasus? Please you can draw them blinded.

●But no matter what your explanation may be Miles just has a little suspicion that its not just cause your born to draw horses. He caught u doodling a purple oddly familiar alicorn.

"Hey what's that?" Miles pointed at your doodles as you closed your sketch book in emberassment. "nothing!"

●It was a normal day you and Miles on your dorm room studying suddenly beeing called by your roomates outside for some help. Miles was left in your dorm he was kicking his foot til he hit a box to hard making it fall down to reveal....

Ponies???

●You walked in to your dorm Miles brushing celestia's hair. You froze. Your soul leaving your body. Miles turned to you in a innocent smile.

"So you like my little pony? I still remember you drawing the purple one! What's her name? Sprakle Sprinkle?"

●It was funny when Miles deliberately or unintentionally mistakes the ponies name and you always corrected him. He once called chrysalis the alien pony. He called Cozy glow a crazy bitch when you forced him to watch all 9 seasons of the show including movies and mlpstopmotion videos.

●Gwen and you werent too close in the beginning .It was just you two were seatmates so she notice on your "subtle" referance to the show. Be it the elements of harmony colored gems sticker on your notebook. Your twilight sparkle cutiemark earings. Or just you doodling the treehouse of harmony.

●It was kind of normal of your friends picking or joking on your mlp obsession. It sometimes makes you left out since you couldnt for the life of God relate to alot of they're series of the month. It was hard for you to not cringe at Live action. You were used to animation. The live action just felt stiff compared to animation. Gwen never understood your friends she thought it was cool how you memorize ponies name cutie marks even backround ones.

●It was lunch time and Gwen went to her classroom early and theyre she saw you watching the wedding of shinning armor and cadence. Face full of food as you watch intently.

●Gwen smiled sitting next to you. "Mind if I sit next to you?" You jolted and fell of your chair luckily Gwen caught you. Eversince that day you watched mlp episodes with Gwen everylunch.

●She loved doing theories. Like why theyre never been a baby alicorn born till flurry heart. The connections of equestria magic and the human worls. Loves the idea of Discord beeing the last draconequus and finding solice in invading worlds to feel not alone.

●Loves the seaponies.

"God I love applejack love her honestyand loyalty to her family! And the cutie mark crusaders are adorable! Sweetie Pie is the cutest!"

Hobie Brown

●He didnt meet you as Hobie brown but as spider-punk. It was an accident when beating up some corrupt cops near by he saw you full pinkie pie cosplay. You wearing a pink wig with a blue , pink , and yellow cupcake dress. It caught him off guard of your ballon accecories. He got kicked in the face becuase he was distracted watching you.

●Eversince he saw you he tried seeing you again but god hates him. He couldnt find for the life of himself. He tried going to cons wandering around finding any familar cosplay. He called it a night at 3rd day going till.

"I am sorry-"

●It was you with the same pink wig , ballon clips , pink , blue and yellow cupcake dress.

"You look dench in that."

●Eversince that day Hobie offered to ask you about the cosplay finding out your suppose to cosplay pinkie pie from mlp. He was a little confuse at first but after watching 4 seasons he gets it. It took him a while to catch up but he thinks the show is enjoyable at the least.

●You convinced him to cosplay twilight as you cosplayed spike. Imagine him with purple glitter extensions , a pony ears and horn with wings. It was funny but he didnt mind. He was Qreally into you wearing loads of spikes on your outfit since you were cosplaying a dragon.

●When he showed up like that on a meeting with Miguel he didnt give a single crap only reapeting.

●Since you getting sick it became a habit of Miles just watching an Mlp episode or two to cool off. One time Uncle Aaron walked pass him watching the mlp movie and he was flabergasted to the brim.

The Greek Gods and My Little Pony Characters 💙

Should be self explanatory but it's basically if the Greek Gods were associated with MLP characters (Mostly the ones I know) and which MLP Character I would put next to said Greek Deity... You'll see what I mean... I don't mind if you take this in the Sense of Hellenic Polytheism or Epic the Musical... But I'm doing this as a Devotional Act and a funny thing I thought...

Right of the bat... I would 1000% put Twilight Sparkle ✨ with Lady Athena 🦉... They both are Knowledgeable and smart, they both have an owl for a pet/symbol... I feel like most would put either Sunset Shimmer and/or Starlight Glimmer but they STRIVE for knowledge (So does Twilight) but Twilight is already smart)... But Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer would be with Odysseus and Diomedes... Just because of the Student/Mentor dynamic (I know, Odysseus and Diomedes are Greek Heroes but still)

Next, I would put Fluttershy 🦋 🐇🐰with Lady Artemis 🦌... Simply because they're both Animal lovers and though Fluttershy is less like a fighter type than Artemis (Except for that one episode with the pony war), they're both like Assertive when they need to be, I guess... And if not Lady Artemis then DEFINITELY Lady Persephone... They both end up with 'grumpy' and 'grr' people (Father Hades and Discord)

Also, I know I could put Discord with the God Chaos (Because it's in the name) ... But I feel like Lord Hades would definitely suit better because they're both misunderstood and even though Discord was a Villain at first, he became a good guy in the end...

Pinkie Pie🩷💛🩵 with Lord Dionysus 🍷🍾🍸... Do I even need to explain why? They're both party people and literally the life of event... That's it...

Now Lady Aphrodite ❤️ 🦢🕊️ is a bit different because I could totally put Rarity 💎with her (Because of Fashion and Gems which is materialistic beauty)... But then there's literally Princess Cadence of the Crystal Empire who's Cutie Mark is LITERALLY a heart 💙 but then there's Lord Eros who's the Personification of Love and bringing people together which is what Princess Cadence does as her Cutie Mark... I'll keep Princess Cadence with Lady Aphrodite

OK, for Rarity... I would put her with Lady Hera 🦚... I don't know why, I don't think Rarity was ever fully Cheated on multiple times (Except for the Prince Charming pony in that one Grand Galloping Gala episode) but I feel like they'd get along so well 🤷🏿‍♀️

Princess Celestia with Lord Helios... They both are affiliated with the Sun and I know some may say that Princess Celestia would be good with Lady Iris... But That's because of her colourful hair (Celestia only has Coloured hair because of the Elements of Harmony, she originally used to have Pink Hair) so Yes, Helios ☀️

And if we're going down the same road, Princess Luna🌙 with Mother Selene 🌕... Luna was trapped in the Moon, Selene and Helios are Siblings, Celestia and Luna are sisters (Also, Nightmare Moon... Or the Tantabus with Nyx because they're both Scary but not 'Evil')

Zecora with Lady Hecate.... They're both associated with magic and witchcraft, and they're both mischaracterised as evil people

I wanted to save this for last because this is more of a Tricky one than with Lady Aphrodite.... I'm not sure who to put Rainbow Dash🌈 with because I could put her with Lord Hermes ⚕️ because of her speed but I could put her with Lady Iris 🌈because she literally does a Sonic Rainboom and has rainbow hair (I was thinking of putting her with Father Zeus 🦅🌩️because of cutie Mark being lightning and she can move the clouds... But Rainbow Dash is the Element of Loyalty... So that just sounds ironic 💀) and I would put Derpy with Hermes just because of her Cutie Mark being a messenger

I will do a Part 2 soon if you guys want but let me hear your thoughts on this because I think it's an interesting concept of the Greek Gods in the MLP:FIM and MLP:EG universe

Beyblade Burst MLP Au

Valt - or, Blue Knight.

He's a pegasus with a special affinity for winning any sort of games - he got his cutiemark before both Stone Armor (Xander, Earth Pony) and Ivoryburn (Shu, see below) when he beat both of them in a race.

Eventually, after Ivoryburn disappears, he's the only one who doesn't write off his friend as a monster or worse when Red Eye shows up. He helps Red Eye make peace with himself and the weird fire elemental that's decided it's not going to stop possessing him. This earns him alicorn status.

He's a bit surprised by this - and the only one.

Oh, and yes, Element of Laughter because the Bey Club fits really well with the Elements of Harmony for some reason.

Ivoryburn is the last of his three friends to get his cutiemark. How does he do it? Falling into a volcano and not dying. After this, his previously really weak magic goes into overdrive, especially with fire spells. There's a reason for this - in addition to being the Element of Magic, something came back with him when he levitated out of that volcano.

This all culminates in him getting possessed by a fire spirit called - you guessed it - Spryzen Requiem. Eventually, as said above, Blue Knight reaches out to him and brings him back to sanity, granting him the ability to converse with Spryzen and the two go on to have a relatively healthy relationship.

Honorable mentions I didn't draw-

Head Honcho (Rantaro, duh) - Earth Pony, Element of Loyalty, cutie-mark looks like a crown and his special talent is leadership and teaching. Has a light yellow coat and a well-manicured orange and black mane, fan is strapped to his back along with a bunch of comics.

Maneionette (Ken, play on the word marionette just in case that only makes sense to me) - Unicorn (green magic), Element of Kindness, cuite-mark looks like two puppets and his special talent is, well, making puppet shows. Has a dark green coat with one front leg being brown and the other blue, with a spiky black and green mane. Still doesn't talk much, but controls Keru and Besu with telekinesis instead of them being on his hands.

Lavish Lavender (Wakiya) - Earth Pony, Element of Generosity, cutiemark looks like a bunch of geodes and, yes, his special talent is being rich. He's has a light purple coat with light grey markings around his feet and ears, with a very long blond mane.

How the My Little Pony Fandom ruined my mental health (long rant(/essay?))

I will go in-depth in alot of sensitive topics, please proceed with caution

I got into My Little Pony when Season 2 aired. In 2011, I was 7 at the time, 2nd grade. English isn't my first language, I didn't even know other languages were a thing. That is until I got access to the internet. We had a family computer that I used basically daily. I mostly drew on MSPaint and played Animal Jam. I was a happy little girl at the time. Eventually, I discovered YouTube. Which became my new obsession. I consumed content like an addict. And eventually, I stumbled upon My Little Pony, where people uploaded whole episodes. The first episode I watched was "Fall Weather Friends", S1 E13. I was hooked instantly. Bright colorful Ponies! It reminded me of the Fillys I collected. So I consumed more. Was able to find a playlist with all episodes in order. The only thing is, they were in English, which I didn't understand. But I didn't care. I wanted my magical colorful ponies! So I watched it and had an overwhelmingly fun time. It was "Bridle Gossip" S1 E9 where the language just...clicked for me. I can't explain it, but it felt like I suddenly could understand almost every word and my English knowledge expanded from there. Which was a yay for me, because now I could watch my colorful Pony cartoon and actually understand what they were saying. It gave me a big heads up when we started learning English a year later in 3rd grade. I never learned English in that class, knowledge wise I already knew what I needed and was very far ahead of everyone. All thanks to My Little Pony.

But I think it is also the start of when everything went downhill for me.

I explicitly remember holding paper in front of the screen to trace the Mane 6's outfits from the episode "Suited for Success" S1 E14 with a pencil. The show made me really get into art. I drew My Little Pony left and right, and it eventually led me to DeviantArt, which I still have fond memories of. I found out that people made original characters. So I did so too. One of my first ever character was "Starshine" which I still love dearly and sketch when I'm bored. But this also led me down the Brony Fandom rabbit hole. Once I realized people made their own My Little Pony content it was over. I literally obsessed over fan content. I consumed everything that the Fandom could offer. And when I mean everything, I mean Everything.

I don't know what the first gore or nsfw content I consumed, I really do not remember. But it was ultimately this content that shaped me or....better say traumatized me that still affects me to this day.

Just like many people in the Fandom, I found out what "Cupcakes" is. A creepy, gore fanfiction that was about Pinkie Pie dismembering Rainbow Dash and turning her into Cupcakes. One of the many fan content I consumed but I remember this being one of the first experiences I had with gore. I watched the original video from ocarinaplaya. I was, I had no idea what gore was. But it was MLP, so I watched it. And this was the first straw that altered my brain. It was like a car crash, i couldn't look away. The way Pinkie tortured and cut up Rainbow Dash. And I consumed more. Smile HD, Cupcakes SFM, My Little Paradox, Pony.MOV, Lil Miss Rarity, My Little Amnesia, Elements of Insanity (that I still unironically love to this day), and so much more. You name it, I watched it. Things like Elements of Insanity and Cupcakes SFM all led me down the SFM rabbit hole. SFM = Source Filmmaker. When I see SFM models of the MLP characters now, I swear I get flashbacks. Because through SFM I found sensual MLP content. Of course, not all of SFM was sexual or gore. Some masterpieces like Doors, Fluttershys Dream, The Walk, Remembrance, Nightmare Night, all are so good.

But of course with SFM came very...sensual MLP content. Ponies kissing or Making out or even going as far as almost having sex. And something changed in my brain. I started to...actively search out these videos. Rarijack, TwiDash - Hearts and Hooves Day, Appledash, those freaking Fart and Vore videos. I watched it all. I don't know what I felt at the time, I don't remember or more so I don't want to remember. All I know is that I started to seek them out. Like actively searching for it. Which also led me to non sfm sensual content. Twilight Sparkle Pantsu, Friendship is Benefits, Concerning Pegasi, Fluttershy gets BEEPBEEPED in the Maze and infamous Banned from Equestria.

Remember I was a child. 9-10 at the time. And 99% of these videos didn't have any warnings. Nothing. And even if they had a warning 80% of those were joke warnings.

I consumed alot of My Little Pony porn and gore in my childhood. Unrestricted Internet access traumatized me to no end.

It was Banned from Equestria which had changed a lot for me. Because I found out that it was a game. An actual game you could play. And I sought it out. I played a lot of Pony games too, especially the ones on the very old Hasbro website. But Banned from Equestria was almost too easy to find. I found it on a website mainly for bad porn games. And it had a category that was purely for My Little Pony. I just went to search for it. I only needed to type "mlp porn games" and it was instantly there. 2 clicks is all that it took. Yes, the website is still up sadly. That website led me down another awful rabbit hole of My Little Pony porn games. Again, I was 10, I had no idea what porn was. Or sex. But it was this (and a separate event that happened in my family) that taught me what it was. And again, I searched for those things actively. And played those games religiously. By 10 years old I was a freaking porn addict. Not even gore (which I developed PTSD from), but Porn was the thing that caught my attention. I also learned what masturbation was thanks to that. And I did just that. I masturbated almost on the daily. Found my Mom's toys, stole them, and used them. Now, masturbation isn't a bad thing by any means. It's good to explore your body and what makes you feel good but I was just an innocent kid...

My parents never found out. My Mom eventually caught on I stole her toys but never did anything against it. Nor did she educate me. She let me do my thing. So I basically masturbated daily, sometimes more than once. What being horny was, was something I didn't even know. I only knew I wanted to do this because is saw my colorful ponies do it.

But these porn games made me spiral. I lost so much of my childhood innocence through this. I spend most of my childhood and early teen years (I started puberty when I was 9) by watching porn, playing porn, and the occasional gore. It has twisted what sex even was for me. The whole concept was ruined for me. To this day.

Throughout the next years, I learned more about porn, and went through many different rabbit holes. My Little Pony Porn, actual porn, Furry Porn, it didn't matter. If it was Porn, I consumed it.

I would also blame this addiction was the reason I became/am hypersexual.

And now, over 10 years later, what changed?

Nothing. I have grown so disgusted by Sex, it's why I'm AroAceflux now. I know. Hypersexuality and AroAce? Pick a struggle. But I'm serious. I consume a lot of Porn to this day. Masturbation had died down but it still happens occasionally. The people I follow on Patreon mainly do nsfw content. Hell, I was on Nsfw-twt a few years ago too.

Porn has ruined my whole mental state. It's scientifically proven that subjecting children to porn and gore at an early age can severely damage their development and I think I'm no exception.

My mental health has been very bad since 2016. I started to cut myself frequently and get suicidal. I still carry scars to this day and I do blame a lot on this addiction. I've been self-harm clean for about 3 years now. I was severely suicidal again in 2021 where I almost killed myself has it not been a friend calling the cops i still struggle with being suicidal to this day though, despite having finished therapy.

I also struggled with a lot of identity stuff at the time. I have it figured out now and am openly out as a trans man by a lot of people in my life. And I have an amazing support system now. But I never really had the opportunity to talk about THIS. How the My Little Pony Fandom ruined my mental health due to the content that was created, without any content warnings. I say I also developed my PTSD from this.

Obviously not just that, it was a lot of trauma family and school-wise wise that made me develop PTSD but I also will blame these types of MLP content for this as well.

Now, I love the Brony fandom. I still do. So many people I have met who are in this Fandom are so incredibly nice, but the awful stuff just stands out even more. This was an innocent kids show about colorful ponies and the magic of friendship. Many children with unrestricted internet access watched it. And watched this type of content. The Fandom should have been a lot more critical about the type of content that they post

I know I'm not the only person that was subjected to gore and porn. Many children from 2010-2017 were traumatized by this type of content. And I wouldn't be surprised if many also developed mental disorders because of it, whether it be Depression, PTSD, Hypersexuality, etc. Many of the young fans are scarred

And we still are

And we are still trying to heal as young adults

Hell, I'm turning 20 very soon, and I still struggle so hard with my mental health and the scars I got in my early childhood and early teen years.

I should've spend those years so much differently

But I didn't and know I'm left to pick up the pieces.

Weird dream 7/5/23: Someone referred to the Steves as fruits. Time Steve quick-changed into jeans. I had colorful balls in my backpack, which seemed to turn into Steves (ie Red Steve).

Weird dream 8/13/23: watching Twisted Rainbow on late night tv, it's echoing across my dark, silent house. The TV and my phone start glitching, and I can't pause. Loud..Elite suddenly can hear me. He appears, and I have to hide him in my closet

Weird dream 10/3/23: Plastic piss legs being sold at a grocery store. "This has been generously donated by over 1,000 anonymous donors"

Weird Dream 8/19/23: Dream 1, Board gqme Steve Saga roll dice pick clothes make up own story. Dream 2 tr shadow in rq, turn into diff char like Faceless, maybe Elemental first but he forget then becomes time but have to pretend bc Sabre there, they find Elemental dead. Sabre leave Shadow to mourn, shadow take off time's mask and starts loudly worrying abt situation, Sabre hear and discover shadow. Shadow/Sabre find time in time dimension in unknown machine, time worrying more abt Elemental dead than shadow situation. Shadow put into machine after give time clothes back, all go to sleep, shadow wake up in lights body, pretend for guards until can ask where Sabre. Guards don't know, shadow tp time dimension, all freak out again (Sabre yell at shadow for doing it on purpose, shadow deny close to tears, admit he almost scream when see he was light). Sabre decide shadow can't be out of sight at any time, shadow agree, shadow realize don't know how to "take off" light, light body stuck to him, panic. Find light in sewers/prison of rw kingdom, even madder at shadow than Sabre, shadow want to hide, bandanna finally appear, edge of ears/hands turn shadow again. Shadow still stuck as light but give back clothes/accessories/armor/etc.

Andddd finally... Weird dream 6/26/22 Girl posse vs Steves! Ft some artistic interpretations!

Anyway it started out with me in a relatively small room alone, watching a video on a TV that showcased some sort of Steve-related thing, like an AU or something? I thought it was just a silly little video until I ended up in a bigger room with 6 other girls, at this table. We each had a sheet of paper, and we had to figure out which of 8 boxes was the correct one. We all agreed eventually on the top left. We were also required to draw something in the other boxes. The two girls next to me saw my cool art of RQ and SS and tried to draw that too.

However, then the girl to my left looked at me with fear. A loud noise came from the front door. She asked me loudly, over the noise, if I thought we could summon a hero and not just get info but that their presence would eliminate the enemy outside. I couldn't understand what she was saying, so I just said I didn't know. I was busy thinking about if the hero in question was Sabre, and somehow knew the entity outside was Dread Steve. I also was considering the strange video from earlier, didn't it mention something about the heroines being able to temporarily summon a hero to gain knowledge?

Later on, we escape from the building but as I leave I have visions of a dark-haired boy, bleeding from several wounds. A girl sitting on the floor begs him not to go, saying he was dying. He looks at her with a sad smile, kneeling down. He says he has to go save the world, and he kisses her on the forehead before walking away. The girl is teary-eyed, knowing he won't last another day. I choose to ignore the vision and that's when I hear a bunch of lightning as some of the girls run back in, frightened.

I'm not super freaked out though, as if I expected this to happen. After the lightning is done, we cautiously go back outside. The outside area has concrete ground and these sturdy crates stacked up in neat piles all over the place, the piles are at least 6 or 8 feet high. I spot a concerning scene: the girl in red and the girl in blue were laying out on the concrete, Blue being soaking wet and Red having dried blood splattered beneath them. Both looked unconscious.

The girl in green ran to Red, picking her up slightly to see where the wound was and how bad it was. Blue woke up confused by the fact that she was soaking wet. Also the blood looked like this

Yeah, somehow I feel like Red was not the only one who bled there. Anyway after Blue wakes up and Green is handling Red's injury I hear one of the girls shout, "the hero!" I race over to see the other girls looking at this white thing with ribbons attached to it like this:

For whatever reason, we all knew this had something to do with the lightning and somehow they all thought this thing implied that the hero disappeared before we could see them. One girl said "we're too late" with a defeated look on her face. This was the point when I opened my eyes, realized it was past 4 am, and decided to try going to bed and seeing how things go. I took control of the dream, as I no longer was able to actually dream. I decided I was Indigo.

I knelt down, seeing the object up close. I uttered "Light.." under my breath with a sudden realization widening my eyes. I stood up and told everyone to spread out, certain that he was still there. I went straight to a nearby building just beyond some crates, where I discovered Light Steve, except he looked...different somehow. I realize that RQ and SS Light must have merged, and they were having trouble figuring out how to coexist. I go in, trying to calm Light down and calmly explain that I was the same species as Sabre. Light grew more trusting of me knowing that I somehow was aware of or knew Sabre. I convince him to come out and meet the others. He awkwardly waves to them after running over when I shouted out that I had found him.

But then another round of lightning strikes. I immediately go into fight-or-flight, as the sudden loud noise causes sensory overload. Afterwards, I realize that not everyone was with us. Violet and Orange were nowhere to be seen. I get up and immediately start towards where the lightning struck, worriedly asking where they were.

I ask Light to follow me and the others to stay. I climb up a stack of crates and see Dark Steve, except just like Light he was both RQ and SS Dark. I push down my fear, walking right up to him. I speak his name, and he turns toward me with an intimidating look on his face. Except I notice RQ Dark is freaking out while SS is angry and trying to fight himself. I manage to befriend RQ Dark, but SS Dark makes it difficult. Eventually SS completely loses it and lobs a fireball in my direction. I manage to avoid it, and quickly tell both Light and Dark that they should be able to unmerge manually.

Light does so as RQ Dark overpowers SS Dark, the Steves unmerging right before my eyes. RQ Dark is pushed to the floor as SS Dark runs off a bit, preparing to summon lava. I quickly explain that RQ Dark is kind and that the 3 of them will need to work together to stop SS Dark. They hesitate, as RQ Light and RQ Dark are archenemies. But after I run off to avoid the lava, they quickly agree to team up. I watch as the three fly up with SS Dark, preparing to fight.

I shout a few words of encouragement before spotting the girl in violet and the girl in orange behind a bunch of crates. I run over, confirming that neither were hurt. I explain that the two white entities are on our side, and that the dark figure with a missing eye is on our side too. I watch the fight for a moment, noticing snow building up on the ground. Snowballs, of course! I instruct the girls to follow me back to the others, and we manage to sneak out without being caught.

I give a quick recap of what happened and that we could help the fight by throwing snowballs at "the punk-looking dark entity making lava." Green tells Red to stay behind, as she wasn't in a bad place but her head was scraped up so it was for the best. As we made our way towards the battle, I explained that there were two dark entities and only one was currently evil. Yellow questions why, but we get there before I can answer her. We grab handfuls of snow, and I showed who was the evil one by hitting SS Dark in the head. I also run, showing how to avoid getting burned by him with Sabre's good ol' "run as fast as you can while the evil guy destroys the ground around you" strategy. As Dark turned towards me, RQ Light threw a fireball at his chest while he was distracted. Dark returned to fighting, and the girls and I slow/distract Dark with snowballs.

I’ll be Taking some liberties and mixing in a bit of their parents colors and what the showrunners wanted gen 5 to be in the beginning, hence Twilight here being an earth pony.

Super fun backstory under the cut!

Despite Twilight Sparkle’s parents both being unicorns, she was born an earth pony. It was a little confusing to her parents at first but going back a few generations they learn they’ve got a little earth pony mixed into their genes.

Twilight grew up becoming a huge bookworm just like canon, studying magic and different kinds if spells despite not being able to do any magic herself. And despite being an earth pony she managed to catch Celestia’s attention at a young age and was taken under her wing as a personal student.

She was sent to Ponyville to learn about friendship just like in canon, and during the battle with Nightmare Moon discovered that her knowledge came in handy with her unicorn friends magic, giving them advice on spells to use to keep them all safe.

Twilight Sparkle is the element of magic only in spirit, and lives contently in Ponyville with her friends as the town’s librarian.

This Twilight does not become an alicorn.

Next on our list!! The ‘Element of Loyalty’ replacement, Art!!

Yes. Yes his name is just ‘Art.’

Theres not much on Art, actually. Anypony who tries to look him up finds little to no record of him ever existing. And when they do, it’s usually just small glimpses or eyewitness stories on him. However, every pony always remembers him as two things; extremely lively and jubilant..

And very, VERY forgetful.

Art happened to be flying past Canterlot one day when he heard the commotion from Celestia’s School of Magic. He saw Midnight causing mayhem with her magic, and flew down to investigate. Now, he knew he wasn’t supposed to get involved, but when he saw the look of fear on Midnight’s face and heard her cries for help, he couldn’t just leave. Using all his might, he flew into Midnight’s proximity. Surprisingly.. his cutie mark was never stolen or removed. In fact, it stayed there in broad daylight. He flew up to Midnight, and managed to calm her down with some talking. And with a bit of luck, Midnight releases her hold on her magic, allowing all of the cutie marks to go back to their rightful owners. Art then introduces himself to Midnight. However, when she asks about his home and what he was doing here, he begins dodging the question or claiming he doesn’t remember. Despite this, however, Art decides to befriend Midnight.

CHARACTER TIME

Now, Art was actually the first pony I designed for this idea. And it was originally just going to be UTMV as ponies. Art was going to be Ink’s design, before I actually began to think about the place of Art and about the ‘new’ version of MLP. I saw many other creators rewriting the story to improve upon it, and I got inspired to do the same!! So Ink became Art! There’s only one other character who kept his UTMV inspiration, and it’s pretty obvious who, if you have some knowledge on the fandom. But don’t worry!! This isn’t essential.

Art’s cutie mark is a BIG hint to what will happen in the story in the future. However, for now I will say that it symbolizes his love of art, and his willingness to create his own love.

BACKSTORY

There’s really.. nothing. Like stated before, there is little record of Art’s existence. And he doesn’t talk about his home life very often. However, he does mention that he has a multitude of siblings, though refuses to elaborate further. He also mentions that he has a mother, but refuses to elaborate again.

PERSONALITY

Art is very happy, yet forgetful. However once you’ve befriended him, he’ll never leave your side. He seems very lonely and eager for friendship. Though he also hesitates when talking to ponies, as if something is holding him back. Midnight is Art’s first close friend, and he still seems nervous around her. But Midnight loves showing him the stars, and in return, Art paints them for her and their other future friends!!

I got a message on reddit the other day following another warmup comic I had posted onto an anime subreddit. To paraphrase his question "Why the hell do you ship Hol Horse and Applejack?" I had a short and sweet answer in "Opposites Attract" but I decided to instead edit an essay I'd written prior. So here it is, the updated version of the Holjack essay! Episode citations weren't included in the original response, but those will be in [green text brackets], while any outside remarks will be in [normal text brackets.]

I've been shipping it for years now as I immensely love both series, but it initially started as a light musing gag: "What if a cowboy fell in love with a cowpony?"

Hol Horse stuck out in my mind because on the surface they're polar opposites: Applejack is brave, honest and hardworking while Hol Horse is cowardly, dishonest and lazy. But when I went to dig in further...

There's the question of his Stand, the Emperor, based off the Major Arcana. Upright, it represents paternal leadership. Reversed, it represents instability and stubbornness; what he first appears to be, having a strong philosophy in being #2 and refusing to fight without a partner otherwise. [The Hanged Man, Part 1 and 2]

He almost joined the Crusaders twice but relented due to his overwhelming fear of DIO. [Justice, Part 2]

But it's around the fight where he partners up with Boingo, where we see more of the gentler side behind the jerk facade. [Hol Horse and Boingo Part 1] He makes sure Boingo is near him at all times, gave him a coin purse in case got lost, and a cute little detail noticed upon re-watches: Hol Horse never says any swear word stronger than "damn" or "hell" around him. And this particular detail was noticeably adapted from the manga in official translations.

On that note, Boingo isn't shy (through Thoth's interference) about letting Hol Horse know he's not all too keen on him.

And yet, despite the circumstances he was under, he never used the word "Hate"; It's a stronger word for a child. ("He's mean and a jerk!" subbed, "He's mean, and I don't like him!" dubbed).

Counting Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak/the Hol Horse Josuke spin off, Hol Horse ran away with Boingo from the hospital without another thought during the final battle. [Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak, Chapter 10]

Applejack is part of the Elements of Harmony, representing Honesty. She values it greatly, though it could be argued she values her family more.

Early on in the series, when given the opportunity to attend a gala, she sees it more as a means to earn more money for her family as a food vendor than attending as a guest. [Season One; The Ticket Master, Best Night Ever]

Holding responsibilities in the highest regard, near the point where it hurts her at times [Season One; AppleBuck Season] it takes a lot of coaxing to get her to even accept the smallest bit of help, given her stubbornness. [Season Two; The Last Roundup]

This became less of an issue for her in later seasons, but her stubbornness remained a prominent part of her character. [Season Four; Bats] In her little sister Applebloom's words: "Applejack keeps us all organized and does her part on top of that!" [Season Four; Pinkie Apple Pie]

After her parents died at a young age, the farm became most of her world. She keeps a wary eye for the sake of her friends, but there comes a point where her friends helped streamline her chores due to her living in the routine that there was something wrong in them. (I.E the gate still being squeaky and scaring the pigs, although neither had been the case for a while.) [Season Six; Applejack's Day Off]

Her grandma's getting older, her brother is a selective mute, and she knows how much ambition her little sister has in terms of finding her own destiny. She had no other choice.

It's even noted by Pinkie Pie that she has a tendency to bottle emotions/ "crying on the inside." [Season 5; Tanks for the Memories] the only notable one that flares out being anger.

I feel as though they would compliment each other nicely in terms of growth- Hol Horse softens up a bit on being a tryhard to compensate for his lack of self confidence and Applejack shoulders less responsibility without guilt and accepts doing more for herself. Both coming to terms with how they'd been hurt and supporting each other in healing. Oki dokes got to better articulate why I love em so much, take some panels from Part 1 of my most recent comic, a panel from the warm-up comic and a little doodle~

I have.. Thoughts. About MLP: A New Generation (or My Little Pony Gen 6). Below underneath the cut is what I think.

Sure, Izzy Moonbow is being pushed to be Pinkie Pie, in a way, but she's not. She's more of a Rarity vibe. Because of her place in the harmony. If we're going based on the core 5 rather than the mane 6, things change. Izzy is Rarity. They're both generous, giving anything they have to help others in need. Rarity, episode two, tore off her own tail to help the mane 6 cross a river. Izzy offered her home and supplies to help her group to not get caught, putting herself in the mix of them even if it meant potential harm to her.

Edit: Fixed the gen numbers. Oops.

They're not bad thoughts, but I think they're pushing a vibe that isn't right? Or it's being misinterpreted. Anyways, if being compared to Gen 4 (which is honestly unfair, to a degree, it feels like its own deal, but keeping with it for right now), the compare between characters just feels wrong.

Sunny Starscout was trying hard to be portrayed as the next Twilight, but honestly? She's Pinkie Pie. Now, the push of Twilight isn't wrong, but she's laughter. Happiness. They both try to bring joy to others and spread laughter and happiness around (to success, majority of the time, but lack of leads to a lost of hope), and generally try to be uplifting in times that may seem unfitting.

Hitch Trailerblazer. My boy Hitch. Although showing signs of wanting to be more Fluttershy, he's Rainbow Dash. They're both fiercely loyal, to a fault! Hitch loves his friendship with Sunny, if he didn't, he wouldn't have hunted after her with her trotting with their supposed enemy. Sure, it was to throw her in jail, but to quote him: "I'm not going to bail her out this time!", meaning that he has, in fact, jailed and bailed her. Rainbow Dash gave up on a possible dream opportunity to help her friends out, again, two episodes in!

Zephyrina "Zipp" Storm! She's Applejack, despite the try to be Rainbow Dash, she is brutally honest and tries to be nice about it, but let's be honest: when you have to be, you have to be. Sure, she doesn't exactly tell the full truth sometimes, but it needs to happen. Again, much like Applejack does. Hell, she convinces Pipp to trust her and it works! Pipp wouldn't trust her without backing or dishonesty before, sister relationship aside!

Speaking of: Pipp Petals is Fluttershy, very much the element of kindness. She could have completely LEFT the others in that alleyway to get caught and save herself, but she didn't. She may be more preppy like Rarity, but the kindness in her heart is very much there. Whether she heard Hitch's comment about agreeing with a pegasus is up for debate, or she might even just ignored it, she had been nothing but kind to Sunny and helped her out hen she needed it most while dancing! Again, back to Fluttershy with her being kind, while being shown with animals, it's not limited to animals.

It isn't fair to compare them to gen 4, as characters, but as the elements? Honestly? It works.

Also, as odd as the Skyrim horse tracking is for them, it's fitting. I dig the forward looking, but there are things I agree with that could be better (cutie mark on boths sides rather than one, the manes being dealt a bit better). And this is only going off the knowledge of watching the movie, not either shows (yet), approximately one season of Gen 4, and a bit from previous generations of My Little Pony, so I am FAR from the best or perfect person to talk about this. These are my opinions, you can agree or disagree as you please, that's the beauty of a complex thought process. And opinions can change, including my own.

I gave myself an extra rule that they’re element bearers, but none can have the same element as either of their parents’ canon kids (ie bright mac’s kid can’t have the element of honesty). Also gender doesn’t matter for these pairings

Comic Cloud (Bow Hothoof x Hondo Flanks): Element of Laughter. If she knows one thing, it how to work a crowd and keep ponies smiling, even if it means playing up clumsiness and incompetence. Sometimes, though, she needs some help taking off the mask and letting her real feelings out.

Cookie Conjure (aka Connie) (Pear Butter x Cookie Crumbles): Element of Magic. Coming from quite humble beginnings with no great wizards in the family history, her sheer strength of magical ability surprised everyone, including herself. She’s honestly a bit embarrassed about it and would rather be using her gift to bake specialty treats than to save the world, but when destiny calls, who is she to refuse?

Redstreak Apple (Bright Mac x Mr. Shy): Element of Loyalty. Her dad Bright Mac is her greatest hero and she wants nothing more than to be tough and brave and true like him. While her frailer pegasus frame makes feats of strength more difficult, she’ll stop at nothing to protect her family and friends.

Pumice Whistles (Windy Whistles x Igneous Pie): Element of Generosity. Trying to get a kind word out of Pumice is like trying to get water from a stone. But if she likes you, interesting rocks and other gifts will be dropped off on your doorstep without warning or explanation. If you're really lucky, she might even let you hear her sing. She doesn’t want a thank you or any kind of acknowledgment, your friendship is enough.

Firefly Moth (Nightlight x Mrs. Shy): Element of Honesty. The most sure fire way to get this timid mare to open up is by asking about her special interest: bugs. Hidden in that silent head of hers is an irresistible thirst for knowledge and truth, and she can’t stand it when ponies lie or deny scientific fact.

Amethyst Dusk (Twilight Velvet x Cloudy Quartz): Element of Kindness. While her deadpan aloofness can at first glance seem unwelcoming, she is simply soft spoken, and slightly socially awkward. Talk to her for more than a minute and you will quickly find the most non-judgmental ponies you’ll ever meet. She and Pumice have been friends for a very long time, and she can often translate the prickly mare’s harsh words into what they actually mean
