hiii do you have any NSFW headcanons for jinnn
Hi anon, thanks for the ask! I'm always happy to share NSFW hcs!
Jin's very touchy feely. Not in the jealous, possessive way, but he always wants to have his hands on his girl simply because he can't resist touching her.
An ass man. Squeezing, pinching, light spanking, he's all for it.
Young, but experienced. Definitely has had some flings with other models and has been in more than one threesome.
A GIVER. He gets off on getting you off, listening to every little moan you make and feeling you shiver at his touch.
A relentless tease. He wants to watch you squirm and beg, but he always delivers in the end.
After the fact, you bet your ass that he's sweeping you into his arms and refusing to let you go. Cuddling is a necessity in his eyes.
Really sweet during the act and able to fluidly transition between making you laugh and making you moan.
Loves morning sex. There's nothing he loves more than waking up with you in his arms and making sure neither of you leave the bed for the rest of the day.
Favorite positions: 69, missionary with her legs over his shoulder.
Very natural approach to sex. If you want someone who's going to be all about the romance, Jin might not be for you, but if you want someone who's up for anything, he's a perfect fit.
Straight, but not against fooling around with a guy during group sex.
Will try pretty much anything at least once, but especially loves incorporating toys.

Do you think Severus snape would play a violin or a cello
I’ve always liked both options for two completely different reasons.
with the violin, it wails like a grieving soul, and its strings would tremble under the weight of severus’s fingertips because it echos a sorrow he cannot name and a longing he doesn’t dare to speak. it also feels boyish, like an instrument he would play when he was much younger, being a prodigy in potions in canon it could work that he was a violin prodigy before he fell from grace and disappeared off of the face of the earth.
now bring in the cello, an instrument he discovers once he’s older, more mature. it is similar to the violin but still somehow distinctly different. it hums like a heartbeat in the dark, its deep, mournful voice grounding him when the world feels too sharp, too distant, too unkind. it’s heavy, and it’s also grounding.
i don’t know how to explain it i just think he would have loved both instruments only at different intervals in his life

recently finished mdzs and was having a discussion with my friend and the topic of mxy came up, I brought up how for sure he had an unhealthy infatuation with jgy which led to him harassing him and she counters by saying that jgy groomed him....now...unless im blind, i don't think that was ever stated? like genuinely im lost in regards to her logic(or lack there of), am i missing something? you're like one of the first jgy blog I've come across cause a lot of people usually have a "dni if u like jgy" so i just quietly block and move on.
yeah this is demonstrably false and not backed up anywhere in the novel. jin guangyao did not “groom” anyone, full stop.
more to the point, it’s infuriating when these claims get bandied around because the onus should be on the people making these assertions to provide evidence from the text to back up their arguments, but they never do. and it is extremely difficult to prove a negative, because these are the same people who will turn around and say, “yeah, but you can’t prove he DIDN’T do it, either.”
hopefully you and your friend can find other things to talk about 🤞

MDZS Fanon VS Canon: 10/?
Wei Wuxian was called the Yiling Patriarch during the Sunshot Campaign
Rating: FANON – CONFLICTING
There is, understandably, a bit of confusion about when Wei Wuxian started to be known as the Yiling Patriarch. For convenience's sake, he's often called by this title throughout many fanwork depictions of the Sunshot Campaign, and/or the period in which he was coreless. This makes sense from an aesthetics perspective, as during this point in his life he was already adopting the persona associated with the Patriarch brand, but in canon, the title was only given to him after he liberated the Wen prisoners.
Put simply, it's not possible for Wei Wuxian to have been called the Yiling Patriarch during the Sunshot Campaign, because by definition the title must have been given to him once he was based out of Yiling – after he liberated the labor camps and set the Wen settlement up in the Burial Mounds. Although Wei Wuxian had been thrown into the Burial Mounds by Wen Chao, ostensibly drawing that connection before the Sunshot Campaign, nobody else (besides some of the Wens) knew at the time.
However, the title was not given to Wei Wuxian immediately after settling in the Burial Mounds. We can actually pinpoint the exact turning point when Wei Wuxian "became" the Yiling Patriarch:
After Wei Wuxian defected from the Jiang Clan of Yunmeng and became the Yiling Patriarch, he’d been in significant conflict with the Lan Clan of Gusu, especially in the months prior to his death. (Seven Seas Ch. 4)
Wei Wuxian was only known as the Yiling Patriarch after his split with Jiang Cheng and the Yumeng Jiang Sect. This means there was a period of time in between the formation of the Wen Settlement and Wei Wuxian's defection, in which Wei Wuxian was living in the Burial Mounds but was NOT yet publicly known as the "big bad evil cultivator" Yiling Patriarch.
We also know the first time the words "Yiling Patriarch" are mentioned chronologically:
None of the fierce corpses Wei Wuxian had ordered to patrol the foot of the mountain actively attacked anyone—the most they did was hurl them away with teeth bared in a snarl. No one was ever hurt. And so, more and more people crowded at the foot of the Burial Mounds. Wei Wuxian once saw a long pennant in the distance, emblazoned with the title “The Supreme Evil Yiling Patriarch,” and spat out an entire mouthful of fruit wine at the sight. (Seven Seas Ch. 17)
This implies that the title of "Yiling Patriarch" was formulated not by anyone in the cultivation world who saw Wei Wuxian as a threat, but by the common people who idolized him. The title could have then spread to members of cultivation sects, who adopted the common name.
In fact, the next time we see a reference to the title is when the Jiang siblings secretly meet with Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning, and Jiang Cheng uses it to tease Wei Wuxian:
“Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng were still standing inside the courtyard. Jiang Cheng raised his bowl. “To the Yiling Patriarch.” “Hearing the title reminded Wei Wuxian of that long pennant fluttering shamelessly in the wind, and his mind was filled with its huge dazzling words: “The Supreme Evil Yiling Patriarch.” “Shut up!” he said.” ... He finished the rest of his soup in a single mouthful and stood. “Impressive. Amazing. As expected of the Yiling Patriarch.” Wei Wuxian spat out a piece of bone. “Are you done?” (Seven Seas Ch. 17)
Meaning while the title spread incredibly fast, it was not taken seriously (by Wei Wuxian, at least) for at least a short period of time while the rumors surrounding Wei Wuxian were building up. Notably, Wei Wuxian does not associate himself with the title.
My interpretation of why this happened is that during the period that Wei Wuxian was still part of the Jiang Clan, his actions were seen as representative of – or at least the responsibility of – the Jiangs. Regardless of whether the cultivation world knew he was working alone, as it were, he was still beholden to a sect who had power over him. Wei Wuxian would not have been seen as a "patriarch" in his own right.
After the defection, however, Wei Wuxian was an unknown in terms of affiliation, and thus a potential threat. With the rumors about him already beginning to paint him as evil and unstable, combined with the fact that he was going on public night hunts with Wen Ning, he quickly became notorious:
After stealing the show at several Night Hunts, quite a few people came knocking, drawn by admiration of his reputation and in hopes of joining the “Grandmaster” to become disciples under his banner. (Seven Seas Ch. 17)
Thus, the title of "Yiling Patriarch" would have only been popularized once it was assumed that Wei Wuxian wanted to start his own sect. This would have only exacerbated the hypothetical threat that Wei Wuxian was to the cultivation world as well, and contributed to his mythologizing as a quintessential sort of boogieman. This is actually an excellent example of a major theme in MDZS, of how quickly rumors can cause severe harm.
In the end, regardless of how or by whom the title was created, Wei Wuxian was only (unwillingly) given the title of Yiling Patriarch after he defected from the Jiangs.

Nie Mingjue with your white girl music, you're all that I need............. Lan Xichen with your heavy metal music, please I beg............... You guys literally don't understand I need to have wangxian + Nie Huaisang n Jiang Cheng waiting to be picked up after clubs or whatever, and they see Nie Mingjue's car come swerving around the corner with "Oops, I Did It Again" by Britney Spears blasting out of the open windows. Everyone thinks "Huaisang must be with him," as if Huaisang isn't, in fact, standing right next to them and filming the entire scene to send to Lan Xichen later. Of course, Nie Mingjue is fucking vibing to the music, sunglasses and everything, greeting them as gruffly as usual before "Barbie Girl" comes on and he makes everyone in the car (except Wei Wuxian, who drives much more recklessly on the regular) fear for their lives with how he's driving. Also wangxian flirting studying in the living room of the Lan house (at Lan Qiren's insistence because jesus christ you cannot leave them alone together), when Lan Xichen comes in from a run, still listening to music. Wei Wuxian can't help but ask what he's listening to, and Lan Xichen offers his headphones with a bright smile. Even Lan Wangji can't hold back the tiny smile on his face when Wei Wuxian visibly startles as the screaming starts just slamming into his poor eardrums because of course he listens to it full volume.

Hello! Thank you all for your job in the fandom.
I wanted to suggest an event to recommend collections in the fandom
I really like one called “Wangxian and bunnies” and I always consult the mdzs meta collection when writing.
I also know some limited zines later published the literary works on collections like the furby one XD and some twitter events too.
I would love to have more collections to go through, just putting the idea out there
Have a good one!
That's a great idea! Though instead of an event, how about this?
Introducing our New Category:
Tumblr media
However, in order for me to actually find the right collection, make sure to either link it or submit the unique collection name, which you will find in the URL or on the collection's profile page in brackets.
~*~
Wangxian and bunnies
maintained by Inkpixel (@Nekonata)
1 Work in 2 Fandoms and 23 Bookmarked Works.
Description: animal transformation, always a bunny, watership down inspired, heavy importance of bunnies in the plot, etc
~*~
MDZS Meta: References and Resources
maintained by ACasualGeek (@acasualgeek)
8 Bookmarked Works.
Decription: A personal collection of bookmarks (to avoid the hassle of adding works directly) for what exactly it says on the tin: references, resources, educational, explanatory, or otherwise illuminating works for various fandoms that I want to have on hand and be able to easily find and access for future use.
~*~
(Please REBLOG as a signal boost if you like – or think others might like – these collections.)

dunno if this is a strange ask but who do you think among the tempting fate og lis are most likely to have kids with the mc early (either on purpose or by accident)
Ohhh, interesting.... Thanks for the ask anon!
Tyler is actually the first who came to mind (not an OG, I know) because he's all about family. Literally it's like the only thing he talks about on his date. When he finds the person he thinks is the one, he can't wait to get started on growing his own family.
Of the actual OGs, I want to say Jack. Let's be real, his moms have been asking him when they were going to get grandkids ages ago and now that Jack's all in with a girl, the idea is starting to sound more and more appealing. He's romantic and loyal and is ready to spread the same love he feels for his girl to their kids.
Hope this answered your question!

These days I've been looking a bit more into the books for mere boredom and I couldn't help but think: We basically have almost less than nothing regarding Mulciber or his general dynamic in canon with Severus so I was wondering your take on it. If you were to write something completely and utterly based on canon where do you think Mulciber ended up? Or what would his dynamic with Severus be, considering his role in the war?
(sorry if I phrased this wrong,I hope you understood what I was trying to say. English is not my first language but I tried anyways lol)
Yeah, I get what you’re saying, and I think you phrased it well!
So, from what we do know about Mulciber in canon, it’s clear he has a temper—Lily specifically calls him out for trying to hex Mary Macdonald (though the way she says in implies he didn’t actually, only attempted to) in a way she found “cruel.” That, to me, suggests he’s probably a bit mean streak. But beyond that, we don’t actually hear much about his personality, which makes me think he might have been more of a nonchalant type in school, the kind of person who didn’t need to be loud or overtly cruel to be intimidating—maybe not as loud or showy as someone like Avery, but still part of that crowd. Maybe he was the kind of guy who just had a presence that made people uneasy.
What’s interesting is that the books never clarify whether it was Mulciber Sr. or Jr. who became a Death Eater. During the First War, we hear about Mulciber Jr. as one of Snape’s friends, but in the Second War, only Mulciber Sr. is ever mentioned as a known Death Eater. The fact that Mulciber Jr. isn’t brought up at all in the trials of the First War makes me think he never actually fought in the war—he probably just left. Maybe he fled the country before things got too bad, which, honestly, would be a pretty rational move. He seems like the kind of person who wouldn’t want to die for someone else’s cause, good or bad.
As for his dynamic with Severus, I think Mulciber probably did try to convince him to leave, at least once. If they were close in school, it makes sense that he wouldn’t want Severus getting caught up in something so dangerous, especially over some misplaced sense of guilt. But Severus has that deep, almost self-destructive loyalty—his whole arc revolves around making up for his mistakes, especially with Lily. So even if Mulciber tried to pull him away, Severus wouldn’t have gone. And that would probably be the breaking point between them—Mulciber realizing that no matter what, Severus was too tangled up in everything to just walk away.

Are there any fun (or traumatic) facts you can share about Xornoth and Scott's childhoods in MoS, I know you mentioned before that Scott has slept in the snow before
Scott has slept in the snow, yes. He gave the slip to his caretakers many times and just wandered off into the winter. Fortunately when he was small he wasn't able to go far. But he absolutely gave more than one servant a heart attack when they found him curled up asleep, covered by a thin layer of snow that wasn't melting, even on his skin.
Xornoth was the first person to hold Scott after he was born. They were smitten immediately and promised to do everything in their power to keep their new baby brother safe.
Scott doesn't get cold and Xornoth doesn't overheat and they absolutely spend a lot of time being each others hot water bottle/ice-pack.
Xornoth almost froze to death their first winter and Scott almost died of heatstroke his first summer. Everyone knew, after that.
Xornoth knit a little blanket for baby Scott. It was Scott's comfort item for as long as he was allowed to keep it, even though he never needed it to stay warm.
They were each others' first friend.
Scott was very young when Xornoth was exiled, about the elvish equivalent of second grade. (Xornoth was the elvish equivilant of mid-teens)

Hi! I wanted to ask you something about Wei Ying’s feelings for a while now : despite all the evidence and subtext that you highlighted in your meta and analysis (and more), why do we still refer to them as a crush in Wei Ying’s first life and not simply that he’s in love/falling in love? As far as I know, a crush is only temporary and superficial, but it’s clearly not the case with Wei Ying (it actually seems the opposite with all the hints and wy’s own words near the end of the novel). Did I miss something or misunderstand?
Personally, I kind of give up and just tell he loves Lan Zhan since his previous life. It’s more easy 😅
Hi 👋🏻
Oh! I hadn't realised it came across that way to be honest, especially with all of my meta and analysis to the contrary.
Yes, crush isn't as strong a word as "love" or "falling in love" - but that was a deliberate choice I made because I think it fits the circumstances. Considering WWX doesn't understand his own feelings for LWJ in his first life, due to him not having the time or space to examine what he feels, I wouldn't want to say anything more solid than that. His feelings are subconscious in his first life. He quickly falls in love with LWJ in his second life and then later realises he's actually always had feelings for him since long ago - even admitting as such in the extras. So personally, I think crush is the right word to use for those subconscious feelings in his first life. I would hope the term doesn't diminish what WWX felt towards LWJ in his first life, considering (as you said yourself also) all the evidence and subtext I often reference which proves such feelings were present all along.
While "crush" can mean fleeting romantic feelings, it can also mean strong feelings for someone who you are not in a relationship with or is possibly one sided. As WWX thinks LWJ is straight and has no real evidence to assume he shares similar feelings for him in his first life, I think crush is the correct word to use here. Of course, as I often mention in my meta - in WWXs hindsight, it was love, but only he can pinpoint exactly when he thinks those feelings became so strong in his first life, not us. LWJ was the only person WWX ever felt that way about and he admits that in the text as well. Regardless of the term used, it was only ever LWJ that WWX had feelings for - no one else.
I hope that clears any of your unease at that particular word choice ☺️
Wangxian were in love with each other long before WWXs second life, it was just a little complicated, due to subconscious feelings and misunderstandings 💞
