Finally got a round to colouring Liu’er and Moon, these are their outfits for my fanfic Moon Knight and Sun King.

I drew them in LMK style but did the shading and highlights in my own style.

(For clarification this is what Liu’er looks like in his physical form not his shadow form; aka this is Liu’er when he fully possessed Macaque’s body.)

Unlike Macaque, Liu’er doesn’t hide his ears or his scared eye.

Moon differs a little from his LBD possessed form, as he has a cape instead of a crown, and changed some of his colouring slightly so it doesn’t clash with the cape.

@cacophony-eg is the creator of this masterpiece and I need to credit her for this, because of how amazing the world building, characters, and plot are! I may have even spent an hour (or two) writing a whole essay of a comment on chapter nineteen as a deep dive on my thoughts.

Absolutely no worries, about tweaking my design of them. I love the metal forearm armour on moon, honestly I’m considering updating Moon’s design to include them, I love the addition so much. OHH and the small added touch of Liu’er’s finger nails being painted blue, is such a wonder addition that so fits Liu’er.

And AHHHH Moon helping his Lady! You draw Si’Xing (Marcu_Bug’s design of reader) so cute! I love the cinnamon bun bun roll of her hair, her expression is just so sweet and heart warming. Then there’s the tender way Lady has her hand in Moon’s, and oh Moon’s happy little tail wag is just the absolute perfect cherry on top. It’s just all so wonderful. (Fair warning this picture is becoming my discord header in the near future.)

ALSKDJF THE CUDDLES!!! AWWWW they look so sweet, and Moon just looks so snuggly and happy, looking at it just brings me instant joy ^/////^

I uh, got a new au lol

This AUs called The Starlit Swordsman. Y/N is a mysterious sell sword whose face is unknown to the rest of the world. They become a living legend as humans are typically at a severe disadvantage against animatronics, yet The Starlit Swordsman is said to have little to no trouble with them. Eventually word of their expertise reaches The Dreamless King Eclipse and he sends for them to join The Celestial Guard, specially picked royal knights to serve as bodyguards for him and his brothers. Eclipse is surprised when a Midraven arrives at his balcony, which makes him even more confident in his decision to have you in his court.

It is not the response he was expecting however, as you have no desire to be a knight. You do agree to become his hired mercenary… for the right price, of course. If it were anyone else who’d disrespected him by declining, he would’ve had them severely punished. But your reputation proceeds you, so he agrees. You arrive at the gates of the castle in record time, and you’re escorted to the extravagant throne room where animatronic royalty greets you. You scan the faces of what would be your new bosses, before dropping to one knee. You bow your head, then look up directly into Eclipses eyes.

“Your Highness, it is a great honor to be summoned by you. I promise to serve you well.” Your voice reverberates in the big empty room, breaking the deafening silence. This break in silence does not last, and much to your dismay you are quickly plunged back into the quiet. You hoped he did not feel disrespected by your lack of conversation, as you’d learned over the years that’s what most royalty prefer. Those under them should not speak unless spoken too, and if you did speak out of turn… things would not end well for you. Just as your anxiety was getting the better of you and the hand on your sword tightened in apprehension did he speak,

“Ah, Swordsman. You seem so on edge. You have my word that no harm will come to you whilst in these walls. And please, stand. There is no need for you to kneel, yet.” You pause, then slowly get to your feet. “Yet?” You ask him, despite your better judgement. The grin he gives you worsens the pit in your stomach tenfold. You stare up at the king and you are glad for your helmet. The look you were giving him would’ve sent you straight to the gallows, of that you were certain.

Y/N has a companion called a Midraven. They don’t have a name yet.

Also the flowers and their meaning are hints to how they’ll be in the AU :)

I like the subtle addition of the moon and sun earrings, both as a hint towards the title of the fic, Moon Knight and Sun King, but the added nob of her being the Twilight between the sun and the moon. <3

Summary: Wukong is desperately trying to figure out what happened a few nights ago. The Monkey King is still at a loss for why he woke up hungover, and is worried the reason MK is avoiding him is because his student discovered some kind of proof that the King was the one that destroyed Sandy’s Pet Shop. That’s when he stumbles upon an employee from said Pet Shop, Wukong gets renewed hope for finding answers to his many questions, but has to be creative in how he approaches the employee. While trying to deliver cat food supplies to Sha’s Boat House, you meet someone new who’s nice with a good sense of humour. You do your best to make a good impression believing this was your chance to make a normal friend who wasn’t an over powered mystic monkey or a fire hazard… or so you assumed. Part 1

When Gawain receives the crown from Sir Sonic, he decides he is going to take a page out of the knight of the wind's book: twist fate to their liking. There will be no Queen of Camelot if Lancelot takes the position of King Consort himself. If Gawain gives Lancelot his heart and his kingdom, then his knight cannot break them unintentionally.

Eclipse always assumed Moons love for sword fighting was him wanting to become a knight. And maybe there was a part of Moon that did, but Moon knew he could never actually could become one. Him being royalty made it impossible. Eclipse tried to help Moon… in his own way. He figured that Moon would eventually give up on this unachievable dream if Moon never actually got better at sword fighting. So, he has his guard who are supposed to train Moon keep him at a certain level. Moon doesn’t get any better, and it starts to wear on his self-esteem. He gets fed up with his lack of progress, and goes to the newly hired bodyguard for help. They agree, seeing themself in Moon and his passion for sword fighting.

Moon gets his ass kicked, for a lack of better phrasing. But he finally learns something new, and he’s over the moon about it. (Pun intended lol) He talks to his brothers about it, and unknowingly decides for Eclipse that this childish dream must come to an end. Eclipse talks to the swordsman, realizes that Moon just likes sword fighting, and that you pointing a sword at his neck isn’t something he minds as much as he probably should. He leaves having solved one problem, and gained an entirely new one. A confusing, terrifying, and inconvenient one at that.

Sun and Y/N are having a great time meanwhile Eclipse and Moon are individually having a crisis :)
