NOOOOOO Blueberry Grandpa!! 🥺🥺🥺 Atticus (and Regent by extension) is such an interesting character. Especially with his complecated relationships with what seems like everyone. I can see why Tsukiko loves her Dad so much. He's so kind and caring despite everything.

I'm also gonna put this here because I felt like talking a bit more about him as a character:

I started writing Atticus because I wanted to explore pre-imperial and early imperial Garlemald with a character that lived through the brunt of some of the early conflicts (i.e, the reaper society, the home-front war, and the beginning of Solus' reign). Because a lot of the pre-history and subtext caught my eye while I was looking into lore.

He is a character I define almost primarily for the compassion and love he has for others, with Regent balancing him out by being an embodiment of his loyalty, determination, and sense of justice. And I've enjoyed writing him keeping that sense of self, even as it often puts him at odds with those he cares about. For Atticus, to pay the kindness he had gotten from those he had lost forward was the only way he knew of to keep that spark of their memory alive, and in how he thinks of himself, it is how he mentally prevents himself from becoming the man that took his village and his family from him in the first place.

The other main thing I wanted to explore with him is that he is, in archetype, a previous generation non-azem warrior of light, and the concept of him growing up and being from a place like Garlemald and the struggles that came with it because of how his motivations deviated from a lot of his kin.

Also in part because I thought it would be a least a little amusing for Emet to get attached to Atticus only to realize way too late that Hydaelyn had "gotten to him first". (Cue a man angrily shaking his fist towards the earth LOL)

Sorry ive been missing, ive been working on stuff thats taking *forever*

However i did finish one thing i can post! Ive seriously hated the official dp refs for so many reasons; bad colors, weird proportions, crappy lines, straight up getting details wrong, etc. So i edited and redid a bunch of them to be more canon accurate or just look better! ("canon accurate" being a loose description here, the show is so dang inconsistent-)

I also created a bonus of a standing val suit ref using/based on the current one, and two fanon refs; one is vals suit but using her actual proportions, and the other was getting rid of dani's hips lmao

This is obviously just the main cast, though i do plan to eventually add more(speaking of, if theres specific characters anyone wants to request go ahead. Ill even do fake refs w/o a base to work with(the character has to at least have shown up in-show though so i have a reference), however those will definitely take a lot longer)

INTRODUCING: CHILDRENS SHOW AU!

WAY too excited to share these guys !!!! im super proud of these designs <3

CTS!Y/n and information about the AU under the cut!

In this AU, FazCo is a company running a TV channel network called FazBS, where each animatronic has their own show!

Sun's show airs at mornings and is all about getting energized and hyped up for the day, its similar to LazyTown with it's cartoon-esc violence and slapstick humor, with scenarios that make little sense, but are entertaining to watch anyway! only very simple language is used to make everything understandable for younger kids, with cameos of the other animatronics! his show was extremely popular, just above Roxy's and below Monty's in popularity.

Moon's show airs around bedtime and is focused on getting kids to go to sleep, with a soothing music box soundtrack, Moon's trance-inducing voice, and more advanced dialogue that makes kids zone out, its known for how fast it puts kids to sleep, even the especially rambunctious ones fall asleep out of boredom. While his show wasn't as talked about nor popular as sun's, it was highly rated among parents.

Well, that was before the entire channel went downhill after FazCo fired all of its human workers.

Yeah, despite the channel's success and being extremely profitable, this was the FazCo's end-game from the start. Being able to AI-generate children's content without having to pay a single human, FazCo thought that their animatronics have already learnt enough from being show hosts for more than 10 years now, but they thought wrong. The gradual decline in quality was felt by the parents, and after Bonnie's show was suddenly cancelled- even the kids noticed how bad things were getting.

Parents called in, demanding the shows they grew up with to be good again, and it wasn't just nostalgia speaking.

So, in an uncharacteristic turn of events, FazCo responded! They said that Freddy's, Monty's, Roxy's and Chica's shows were going to have human staff again!

...what they neglected to mention, was that they were pulling funding from Foxy's show, and cutting Sun's and Moon's budget in half to make up for this change.

Sun now has to re-use and repurpose old props to make up for his inability to get new ones, buying with his now super limited budget cheap D.I.Y kits to make crafts with- not to mention, without having any human staff around, he had to play every sound effect in real time- because the new S.T.A.F.F bots FazCo got have ZERO idea what comedic timing is. Needless to say he was under a lot of pressure, his show was pretty well liked by both kids and parents, and he didn't want to disappoint them. He had to change a lot with the absence of human actors and no narrator to have a solid dynamic with, calling on his pal Chica often jus to have another person on the show.

Moon's show however, was doomed from this change. Y'see, his show featured a narrator, posing as a curious soul and asking Moon thoughtful questions he can answer in a way kids can digest, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood style, and with no off-screen voice he can respond to, Moon's show felt incredibly eerie, as his true thoughts were left free with no guidance from his narrator buddy. He started acting stranger and stranger, going on derailed existential tangents accidentally, making a few jabs at FazCo here and there from frustration. The kids didn't understand any of it, but the parents found it off-putting, and complained.

Eventually, Moon's show was put on a permanent hiatus, after a particularly bad episode where 'moon truly let his rising anger at FazCo loose', as an article described it. No recording was archived of this episode, and any attempts to post it is quickly struck down by FazCo.

They've re-run old episodes of his show for about 6 months now, with no sign of moon coming back.

This, however, is when Y/N comes in! after half a year of dwindling ratings of sun's show, and decreasing profits in merch sales, they caved in and hired a single narrator! after not being able to retrieve their old narrator, due to "a small disagreement."- they brought you, surely, they don't expect you to single handedly bring back sun's show from ruin!? ...well, did they?

Since I've been updating one of my bleach fics more recently, I felt the once-in-a-blue-moon urge to draw something from it.....decision I VERY MUCH regretted lmao, because what I picked was SUPER difficult to draw, and I had to take some creative liberty with these designs, lessening the detail in them (Didn't even have a proper ref for Oni-Ichigo to begin with...).

Still, I managed to finish this at least. Fanart isn't really my thing anymore that much so these will be rare, even if I am writing semi-regularly.

The scene this bases on from Jack of All Hollows:

Grimmjow eventually shifts, now just sitting on the bridge ledge properly, dangling his bare feet over the water. His companion follows his example, though chooses to keep his legs towards the bridge instead, sitting the other way around. He was still glancing at Grimmjow, and Ichigo could tell that color on his demon doppleganger’s face wasn’t just alcohol. He looked like there was something he was trying to say, but was hesitating.

Ichigo knew what it was.

Clearly, Grimmjow was aware of his companion mulling over something, as the blunet eventually snorts and turns to look at Oni Ichigo annoyed.

"What? Spill it, I can literally hear yer overthinkin’ shit again.”

"You can share memories, not read minds.”

"The gears in your brain are so rusty they make shit ton of noise, Kurosaki. Hard not to hear all that.”

The ginger demon laughs at that, his reaction seemingly confusing his companion a little, the point he now grabs Oni Ichigo’s arm and threatens to throw him into the river if he didn’t explain what was so damn funny now. His companion eventually manages to stop laughing with a wheeze, now looking back at the pouty looking blunet, who was clearly still confused about his behavior.

"Yer way too drunk huh; never knew your stubborn ass was this lightweight.”

"Yeah, guess I am.”

Watching the pair, Ichigo felt uneasy now, suddenly having a feeling this wouldn’t end well for his twin. Obviously, this Ichigo had died, but beyond that…

Suddenly, his twin leans closer, clearly catching Grimmjow off-guard. The kiss doesn’t last long, and once his twin pulls back he had gone completely red, now averting his gaze and rubbing his neck sheepishly. Grimmjow had gone completely stiff, just like he’d done that night at that other bridge.

"S-sorry. I….uh.”

He seems to struggle for a moment to decide what to say, still avoiding the blue eyes staring at him. Grimmjow still hadn’t moved an inch, as if his brain had short circuited and he was struggling to process what just happened.

"….You know. You’re not as bad as I thought when we first met. And lately, I don’t know. I just….I like hanging out with you, when you’re not trying to kill me.”

Oni Ichigo chuckles sheepishly, still avoiding his gaze. Grimmjow now turns his head away, his face still unreadable, though the shock seemed to have faded. The atmosphere around the pair had shifted from the easygoing drunkedness to something much more tense and awkward, though Ichigo wasn’t sure if he was reading it that way, or if the emotion was attached to the memory itself.

"I’ve been thinking about that a lot. And….I-I don’t think its…”

Oni Ichigo swallows down hard now, finally daring to look up at Grimmjow. Seeing that uneasy look in his eyes, oh fuck he was scared too. It had clearly taken his twin a lot to bring this up, and so far, neither could tell what Grimmjow was thinking.

"I don’t think it’s friendly affection I’m feeling.”

Silence.

its very hard to answer because i don't know where you are at in your journey or what your goals are but

i just finished a piece for artfight and made a timelapse gif which may help you understand my process if you are interested in that (even tho its a more simple piece) (sorry for flipping canvas sm)

this is the character btw. some things that i think are important:

getting stuff on the canvas even if it looks shit (my sketch phase is FUGLY) but its digital art so we can just make it look better and move stuff around. its literally not a big deal

flip a LOT (flipping lets u see ur mistakes easier) (it might hurt your soul at first but eventually you get used to it) (reaching full artistic ego death is the end goal)

i dont have a strong minds eye so i cant visualize my piece very well so i just try things, you will notice i try different poses and expressions

what i rly care about is mood and conveying some emotion and i'll try lots of things until i get what i want. once its on the canvas i can evaluate how that works for me. if it looks bad JUST CHANGE IT !!!! 😤👍

GET LOTS OF REFERENCES !! when i got just 1 ref i ended up copying it too closely, but you can get a bunch and combine them together. that log in the foreground i stole that from princess mononoke. take elements from stuff nobody will miss it

for beginner advice i think, just draw a LOT and try not to get sucked into the details for too long. u can learn a lot by just doing a ton of throwaway stuff. rendering is important for sure but it can TAKE A LONG TIME so just be aware of what youre spending your time doing

and PLEASE look at other pixel artists who are really good. take their art into your program and look at it and study it, see what they are doing. its not cheating we have all done it.

Foot Funk - Steve (By the genius @dumb-and-jocked)

I haven't started work on completing Dalton Academy. But just like I did in the last break between my original publications, I'm going to use my time to pay homage to one of my greatest inspirations and who I now have the pleasure of being able to talk to and exchange ideas with. I started working with A.I. to make images for stories that I liked, I did this with storys of dumb-and-jocked who is a great author and source of inspiration. I know there is a lot of controversy in the community with these types of stories, but I particularly enjoy reading them knowing that they are relegated to fantasy. But I admit that I would really like to have chosen another story to make my first adventures with A.I. not only because it would have avoided getting involved in any controversy but also because feet are some of the things that cause the most glitches. But talking to the author and getting his permission to publish, I thought I should honor where I started. The images are not the ones I took the first time, they are new and much better. Maybe in the near future I'll work with his wonderful material again but even if it doesn't happen I'm very grateful for the opportunity.

The conversation between Frankie and Steve had started out decently. Pleasant in fact. Frankie had come over to pick his bestie Mia up before they headed out for a night at the club. Dressed in a glittery harness over his shiny chest, too-tight jeans showing off his perky butt, and with his bleached locks tied back in a messy ponytail, Frankie was caught off guard when Mia’s father opened the door. He hadn’t expected for him to be on the other side, or for him to even be at Mia’s apartment in the first place.

“You must be Frankie,” Steve asserted with a gruff tone, letting the shorter, skinnier male enter. “I’m Steve, Mia’s father.” 

Frankie had never met Mia’s father, nor had Mia ever mentioned him. The pair had known each other for well over a year now, so Frankie had just assumed there had been a reason why Mia had never brought Steve up.

“Mia’s upstairs still getting ready, but you’re welcome to sit with me in the living room to wait.”

“Oh, that’s ok!” Frankie interjected. “I think I’ll just go up and help, being that’s my role and all.”

Frankie was referring to his duties as a GBF, but that didn’t seem to fly with Steve. The older man had already taken a seat on the leather couch and motioned for Frankie to join him. Frankie was hesitant at first, but eventually he surrendered, sitting on the opposite side. He prayed Mia wouldn’t take that long.

Steve started the conversation off like any straight male would: asking if Frankie had seen the game last night. When Frankie said no like any gay male would, Steve took it as his obligation to fill him in on all of the details from the previous evening. Steve droned on and on and quickly lost Frankie’s attention, but the use of one word instantly brought him back in.

“God, and that ref was such a fag–called it at the stupidest moment.”

“You really shouldn’t use that word,” Frankie corrected.

“What?” Steve questioned innocently, propping his legs up on the couch. “‘Fag’?”

“Yeah,” Frankie nodded, noticing how much space Steve was now taking up. He subconsciously moved a little further into the corner of the couch. “It’s offensive and doesn’t respect my community.”

“That’s cause faggots don’t deserve respect,” Steve responded, watching Frankie twitch. Steve readjusted on the couch to fully face Frankie, his feet inching a little closer. 

“Are you one of those straight dickheads that actually believes they are superior to gay people?” Frankie’s reply was heated. His nose began to flare, causing him to take in more air. He pushed his legs apart as well, taking up a little more room as he opened into a manspread.

“Well, there’s a reason why straight men have always been on top.” Steve’s words were smooth and confident. He tossed one leg over the other before continuing. “I mean fairies used to always recognize that before the media went woke.”

“Yeah well, I bet all the gay men that bought into that crap were seriously pathetic,” Frankie faltered, taking the defensive. He tugged at his button-up, opening another button to reveal a bit more of his hairy chest. Frankie was flustered and felt a headache coming on. He always got annoyed when arguing with homophobes, but this one felt different.

“So you agree then?” Steve smirked, wiggling his meaty toes. “Faggots are pathetic.”

Frankie heaved. “Alright, I guess some gay men are faggots.” Frankie’s voice cracked, and then he coughed. His Adam’s apple repositioned itself below his stubble accordingly. “Those fags must have some serious issues. I’m glad I’m not like them.”

“And you’re not a fag?” Steve pressed, repositioning his Size 14 feet directly beneath Frankie’s nose.

“I can jack off to whatever porn I want! It’s just a fetish!” Frankie was getting visibly mad now. The blood was pumping through his veins. His muscular arms were tense, his chest was puffed out, and his sturdy legs were bouncing back and forth, ready to pounce.

“So you agree with me, homosexuality isn’t real,” Steve affirmed. “It’s just a fetish.”

Frankie froze, realizing what he’d been trapped into. With a confident sneer, Steve simply lifted a foot up to Frankie’s face.

“Sniff.”

Frankie followed the order. The concentrated homophobic foot funk burst through his nasal passages and completely overrode his brain. The initial presence of the odor in the air was enough to evenly numb the organ, but the undiluted blast came as a complete shock.

After a few moments, Steve lowered his foot and watched as the new man conformed to his reality. It was then that Steve asked the question.

“God I hate ‘em” Frank huffed, running a hand through his trimmed brown hair. “It’s sad that faggots are wasting the space a real man could have. Their place is on the ground serving us. Inferior scum.”

Steve snickered, smiling as he watched Frank adjust his larger pouch before getting up to grab a beer. Frank proceeded to crack two open and, after spilling a bit and wiping it on his old sweats, rejoined Steve on the couch.

“So,” Frank started again as he passed Steve the other beer. “When’s that daughter of yours coming down anyway. She knows I’ll rail her with or without makeup, right?”

“Didn’t I tell you earlier? She’s out with friends,” Steve took a swig, moving his feet back in front of him while grabbing the remote. “You’re free to watch the game with me and wait ‘till she gets back.”

Frank nodded and let out a belch, leaning back into the couch and waiting until his pussy arrived.

I did not realize she and leliana was estranged 😭 also if im remembering correctly she makes loghain do the dark ritual? sorry I do like spinning her around in my head and knowing the little details she’s such a great character!!

leliana and minerva did not have a clear breakup in the alistair minerva sense but they did grow apart because of the simple reason that post dao minerva becomes politically at odds with the chantry while leliana is serving its leader. leliana is not a type of person minerva finds very easy to like or trust so while they did grow on each other over the course of dao they never had a simple friendship in the first place

alistair you probably know about bc its kind of the cornerstone of minervaposting but theres a post fully explaining it not much further down in her tag

zevran is her romance <3 i hesitate to use the word “soulmates” exactly but they definitely fit together in a way no other minerva pairing could match

morrigan she has a weird close complicated vaguely homosexual friendship with, i’m sure this is par for the course for f!wardens. they probably could have been in love if morrigan had been willing to pursue it in the start and if minerva hadn’t already gone for someone else by the end, and all that is unspoken but very present in everything about them

sten is i guess kind of the typical high approval relationship as presented in game? not much more unique. a lot of respect a lot of arguing a lot of dry humour. they could hang out in silence comfortably and they’re also both know and respect that they’re very capable of killing the other if their greater purposes ever demand it

oghren she kind of doesn’t pay much mind in origins when she doesn’t have to but he becomes part of the family in awakening. they bond over having their insane shared experiences of the blight, and also over him trying to quit drinking and her trying to quit blood magic which leads to some really wild out of context conversations for the others. and hey, eventually over first attempting to parent at similar times

wynne she has a bit of a sharp relationship with. i think this could vary a lot if i pick her up earlier, but in my main minerva playthrough i picked her up late by which time minerva had absolutely no fucking interest in getting the kind of lectures she grew up with. sorry grandma </3

uhhhh who else. shale idk man im sorry for being a fake fan but shale’s dlc truly does nothing for me it’s unfunny and i dont think abt it at all 💔 this would be written in less harsh terms if i wasnt sleepy

loghain is. well that’s a kettle of fish. minerva spares him because it happens to be a preferable move for her agenda and her way of thinking, it’s not rlly about him as a person at all. she doesn’t absolve him of anything he did, like, she still thinks he’s a bastard it’s just that she doesn’t really believe at all in the concept of justice being done if it doesn’t serve a purpose. when he’s in the party they do build up respect and a weird kind of friendship. he sucks and she’s bitter about what sparing him cost her, but that isn’t relevant, it’s not going to stop her learning from him, or fighting at his side as the best team she can quickly make them, or simply finding him entertaining to talk to. so by the end it’s as a friend that she asks him to do the dark ritual, whatever that means. post dao she agrees with weisshaupt that him being assigned outside of ferelden is wise but they continue to write to each other extremely regularly, mostly on matters of news and strategy but occasionally on the more personal

Marin washed up in Calatia, post Link's Awakening. The owners of a tavern in town gave her work and a place to stay, and Marin quickly learned that drunk people were sometimes assholes. She had to grow a thick skin, but eventually got used to the nature of her job (as well as learning that she could bat her eyelashes at some people and swindle them out of money/gifts/favors). She doesn't know much about where Legend is, or if he's even around in the time period she ended up in, but she's hoping to save up enough money in order to travel to Hyrule and find out...

Finally a ref for Marin!! I love her sososososo much, so I wanted to finalize an outfit for her before committing to a ref, bc she deserves something good!! I think I'm happy with this. The design on her corset is supposed to be reminiscent of waves.

Details not pictured: Her skirt falls to mid calf, and fades from the powdery blue at the top to the lighter blue that's the main color of her corset. For footwear, she has ankle boots that lace up and cream colored socks.

In this universe, Kirijo group’s research is much less unethical, with their greatest mistake being the lab accident that causes Tartarus’ formation. The Fall was never a goal, only the ability to manipulate time. Likewise, Ikutsuki does not obsess over omnicidal plans, and experiments for inducing Personas never occurs.

During the lab explosion, Ikutsuki was stationed there and only survives due to the chance embedding of a stray Plume of Dusk. This Plume is partially corrupted, hence, unlike its effects seen in canon Sho and Aigis, Ikutsuki doesn’t develop additional mental doppelgangers. Instead, he gains the ability to stay awake during Dark Hour and partial immunity to Shadows at the cost of slowly deterioriating his health and eventually killing him.

Some time after recovering from the incident, Ikutsuki decides to partially retire from his research with Kirijo group and become chairman of the new school. He has a chance encounter with Sho Minazuki via some enrolment/education programs, eventually adopting him in the process and raising him as his son.

Fast forward to 2009, he becomes involved with monitoring and taking care of SEES members, who are still in the midst of figuring out how to resolve the issue of Dark Hour and Shadows. Feeling personally responsible for present day events, Ikutsuji becomes a genuine guide/mentor figure for the group.

Another part of the Runeterra K'sante/Yone hc verse stuff....I suppose I will have to continue to give them something to be happy for idk

The process of acting like a human again was arduous. Before, the azakana had sustained him, made him forgo the usual human necessities like sleeping, eating, taking care of himself between fighting....and more. Not unlike how a child has to learn the ways of the world.

Of course, his body was still not completely...normal. Having a spiritual parasite did leave his mark, as he found out that he still could unbind his soul from his body (initially this was all random and involuntary, but later he found out how to channel it by will). His left eye, while ruined and blind to the material world, could still see things from the spirit realm.

It was also nice that K'sante stayed around to just keep an eye on him, making sure he rested and ate. Keeping him company through bouts of nightmares and emotional outbursts he had after suppressing them for so long to starve off the azakana residing in the old mask.

Disorienting and traumatic as this all was, Yone was grateful for the second chance at life. It also didn't hurt that his friend (or was it more...a companion?....travel partner? He was too afraid to mull over this for long) had stayed with him to help. He felt guilty for feeling this selfish, but he allowed himself to have that.

Of course, even the good things had to end. K'sante had visited all the places he wanted to go, learned a great deal of things, and his home needed him. When K'sante announced that he would leave for the Navori harbor in a week, Yone's world seemed to shatter with the news. Yes, he had known K'sante would eventually go back, but it seemed to be something that would happen far later...not this soon.

K'sante does notice Yone looking down, and ever considerate, he gives him an offer.

"You know, if you want to...you can come with me."

Yone mulls over this, looking at the masks that he had collected over the years as an azakana hunter, including the one that used to curse his face. There was still so many azakana left in the world, and Yone did vow to rid Ionia of them...

...but was this something he had to do? After dedicating his "un-life" to that cause and then getting his humanity back, Yone was not sure. And leaving home.... felt daunting.

"I... don't know."

K'sante is disappointed by the answer, but smiles in understanding. The two spend time together before the departure date, traveling back to Navori to meet Sett and other friends K'sante had made there. K'sante introduces Yone to them, and Yone does find himself enjoying their company (in small doses).

On the day of the departure, Yone does come over to bid K'sante farewell. As K'sante boards the ship headed southward to Bel'zhun...he suddenly is stopped by a voice.

"Wait."

K'sante feels someone tug at his sleeve, and already knows who it is. Smiling, he turns around to see Yone awkwardly trying to avoid looking at K'sante while tightly gripping onto his coat.

".............Before, I hunted through a storm of darkness, but now....will you let me follow you like a wayward gale?"

K'sante is initially confused by Yone's words, but then laughs after he realizes what he is saying. He brings Yone to a tight hug, surprising the other man with the sudden act.

"You can be the deadliest desert storm, and I would happily accept you. Of course!"

For the first time in his life, Yone feels...free. Was this how his brother felt when he forgave him? He too had left Ionia afterwards.

Now, it was his turn to fly.
