Lucio put his ghostly hand on Morgan's waist, drumming his clawed fingers against her. Morgan stiffened, her patient façade dropping for a moment. Her eyes remained fixed on him--or at least, his reflection in the mirror.

I forgive you, you know, he commented idly.

"Forgive me? For what?"

Leaving without even saying goodbye, all those years ago. Do you have any idea how much that hurt? I did like you, after all. You were fun. But then one day, you were gone. You didn't even give me an explanation. You should be grateful I didn't get angry. His hand tightened on her ever so slightly. If he were corporeal... Morgan didn't want to think about that.

"I... I left because of the plague." A lie, but a convincing one. "It was starting to spread quickly at that time... If I had stayed in Vesuvia, I would have died."

Not if you were with me. You would have been safe in the palace. Most people were.

"That...wouldn't have worked. My body is weak to illness. I would have caught it somehow if I stayed. You would have watched me die."

You would have been safe with me. But all of that aside, I have graciously decided to forgive you, now that you're helping me.

"I...I suppose I should thank you, then."

Yes, you should. And while you're at it, maybe we can pick up where we left off, once I have my body back. He let out a strange, purring sort of sound.

"...What?"

You heard me, my dove. You make a lovely mistress...and I'm sure you'd be a brilliant courtier. You're already very clever.

Morgan frowned slightly, touching the pendant around her neck. "Listen, I...I'm flattered by the offer. I truly am. But I'm also spoken for."

Lucio waved his hand dismissively. That can be fixed. We'll worry about that later.

"That...that's not..."

No time for talking, my dove. It's time to get my body back...and just in time to surprise everyone at the Masquerade, too.

Morgan nodded helplessly. Why had she gotten herself into this mess? "Very well. I...I have the ritual circle set up in your old room. Let's go..."

This is HAAAAAAAAAAAARD. I have so many books that I’ve enjoyed. In response, I’ll list a couple: Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling, Let’s Talk About Love by Claire Kann, Dolores Claiborne and Carrie by Stephen King, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Swing by Kwame Alexander, and The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo. Most of these are newer loves (within the last year). XDAs for authors, I have the same issue. I enjoy Stephen King, Rick Riordan, Laini Taylor, J.D. Robbs, John Flanagan, and J.K. Rowling. Netflix ha encargado seis episodios de una continuación de la trilogía cinematográfica escandinava Snabba Cash, basadas en las novelas de Jens Lapidus. Ce l’abbiamo fatta. Siamo arrivati alla fine. È il momento delle ultime pagelle del Festival di Sanremo 2019. Dio ti prego segnati ‘sti voti (semicit).

Daniele Silvestri e Rancore: 10. Migliori per distacco per testo, interpretazione ed esibizione. Sono stati un crescendo continuo. E partivano già dalle vette dell’Everest. Grandissimi. Prendono meritatamente premio della critica, il premio Lucio Dalla e il premio Sergio Bardotti.

Anna Tatangelo: 4. Dai, no.

Ghemon: 9. Non è il suo habitat, ma è stato costantemente a suo agio nell’essere fuori posto. Ha portato una poesia (scrive solo quelle, in pratica) e ha conquistato anche i più scettici. Daje Gianlù. E grazie di tutto.

Negrita: 7. Il rock è vivo. I Negrita sono vivi. Pau ci dà ancora speranza. Stiamo tutti bene.

Ultimo: 4-. Ultimo è tutto ciò che vorresti essere se non avessi nulla di dire. Fortunatamente nessuno vuole essere qualcuno con nulla da dire. Vince il premio Tim Music, che vale come il due di mazze con la briscola a coppe. Stecca. S’incazza. Francesco Renga: 0. Mannaia al cazzo, Ciccio. Armoniosamente, gradevolmente, pacatamente: mannaia al cazzo. Che poi non è solo un problema tuo, perché la sera prima ti metti pure a fare il Piero Angela della situazione al Dopofestival spiegandoci la teoria per la quale le voci maschili siano più armoniose e gradevoli rispetto a quelle femminili. Ma ti sei mai riascoltato, benedetto iddio? Regalare un tuo disco a qualcuno è come augurargli un’ipoacusia da rumore. Armonioso e gradevole un par de palle carpiate.

Mahmood: 8. Ci sono i nuovi che suonano vecchio, e sono più vecchi dei vecchi (Ultimo, Irama, Il Volo e compagnia ragliante), e poi ci sono i nuovi che suonano fottutamente nuovi. Mahmood porta la bandiera dei secondi. Un sound unico. Lo riconosci. Si distingue in un mare di copie di copie di copie. Il primo posto è il suo. Il futuro anche. Muovete a tempo quei culi. Salvini tutto bene?

Ex-Otago: 4. Peccato. Peccato davvero. Non sono così mosci, in genere.

The Zen Circus: 8. Si sono presentati al grande pubblico con un pezzo attualissimo. Si sono migliorati di serata in serata. Hanno lasciato il segno. Come hanno sempre fatto. Appino c’è e lotta insieme a noi.

Patty Pravo con Briga: 2. Che agonia.

Arisa: 6-. Sembra dentro una puntata di Fantastico. Peccato che è a Sanremo. E la voce ce l’avrebbe anche. In finale pare avesse la febbre, ma resta una voce clamorosa anche quando non prende (comprensibilmente) una nota.

Irama: 0-. Nello specifico, il pezzo portato a Sanremo ha un tema importante, ma svolto come farebbe un bimbo alle elementari in un compitino sulle vacanze estive. Abbiamo già avuto “Mary” dei Gemelli DiVersi, tra l’altro, e non ci serve ‘sta roba qui. “Mary” ha funzionato perché Grido non ha avuto la presunzione di scrivere un pezzo simile sentendosi un poeta, ma usando il suo linguaggio. Semplice. Diretto. Arrivava per come era stato pensato. E quel brano rimane una pietra miliare nella discografia dei Gemelli DiVersi (non in quella italiana di tutti i tempi, sia chiaro). Ora. Se non vuoi essere una copia mal riuscita di “Mary”, devi essere un poeta. E Irama non lo è per niente. Siamo seri.

Achille Lauro: 6 politico. Una canzone oggettivamente orribile (voto 2), ma ha sopportato polemiche e minchiate varie senza sfanculare tutto e tutti. Ha portato vagonate di trash e il duetto con Morgan è entrato nella storia delle comunità di recupero. Rossroi-rossroi-rossroi. Nei secoli. Però anche basta, a ‘na certa.

Nino D’Angelo e Livio Cori: 4. Se ragliare fosse una religione, ‘sti due sarebbero degli dei.

Federica Carta e Shade: 1. Aridatece Cristina D’Avena.

Simone Cristicchi: 10. Simone Cristicchi va oltre tutto quello che Sanremo rappresenta. È poetico e teatrale. È qualcosa che non ti stancheresti mai di stare ad ascoltare. Il premio Sergio Endrigo non poteva che andare a lui. Vince anche il premio Giancarlo Bigazzi.

Enrico Nigiotti: 8. Tanti alti e pochi bassi durante tutte le serate. A X-Factor era un tizio acerbo con la chitarra che suonava tanto come un wannabe Grignani. E non era una gran cosa. È migliorato moltissimo e adesso ha un’identità che sembra non voler più perdere.

Boomdabash: 3. Sul serio, ragazzi: c’avete scassato.

Podio e vincitore

Dopo l’annuncio del podio, succede di tutto. Piovono fischi e insulti da ogni lato. La Bertè finisce fuori dai primi tre per un solo posto, Cristicchi e Silvestri a metà classifica. Sul podio troviamo Il Volo, Ultimo e Mahmood. Quando tutto sembra perso, il colpo di reni dell’italoegiziano gli permette di aggiudicarsi il Festival e relegare Il Volo all’ultimo gradino. È una vittoria significativa. Forse c’è speranza. A maggio sarà un bell’Eurofestival. Salvini in preda alle convulsioni. Bacioni sparsi.

14/04 Big Fish e Touch Down fanno ballare Number One - Cortefranca (BS) insieme ad Alessandro Di Lorenzo, Aniram, Aldivas, Big Fish, Dropsy ed MC Don Cash

Direttamente da Ibiza, sabato 14 aprile 2018 torna al Number One di Cortefranca (BS) Touch Down, party scatenato che ha fatto e farà ancora impazzire l'isola della musica. Touch Down infatti è nato proprio ad Ibiza a Maggio 2017 e qualche notte fa ha fatto pure scatenare gli USA in un tour di diverse date che ha fatto ballare Chicago. La festa ad Ibiza fa muovere a tempo templi come Eden, Ibiza Rocks e Ocean Beach Ibiza. Il party è stato creato da Level Up Milano con Ale Zuber, il creatore di I am a RichBitch, il celeberrimo evento Hip Hop & Reggaeton che a Ibiza fa scatenare l'immenso Privilege. Sul palco quando c'è Touch Down va in scena un vero show, con ballerine e scenografie che sanno stupire.

Resident nei party ad Ibiza nell'estate 2017 è stato Fat Man Scoop... e anche al Number One il 14 aprile gli artisti sono di grande livello. In console infatti si alternano super dj come Big Fish, uno dei dj e produttori più stimati nella scena italiana hip hop. Produttore di alcune dei più grandi successi di Fabri Fibra, grande talent scout della scena hip hop, ha pubblicato dischi su Mad Decent, la label mito di Diplo (il creatore dei Major Lazer), collaborato con X-Factor e continua ad essere uno dei talent scout più attenti della scena italiana e non solo.

Con Big Fish in console ci sono anche Alessandro Di Lorenzo, dj girl sexy e bravissime come Aniram e Aldivas e Dropsy. Al microfono c'è invece MC Don Cash, una delle voci di m2o, dove conduce Music Zone con Provenzano Dj e Renèe La Bulgara e pure The Loft.

Ma chi è Big Fish?

L'attività discografica di Big Fish come dj e produttore inizia nel 1994 con "Soprattutto Sotto", l'album d'esordio dei Sottotono: il primo singolo "La Mia Coccinella" diventa subito una hit dell'epoca, attirando l'attenzione a livello nazionale nei confronti del progetto. Il 1996 è l'anno della consacrazione per il duo formato dal produttore Big Fish e il rapper / cantante Tormento: il loro secondo album "Sotto Effetto Stono" raggiunge il traguardo del doppio disco di platino e ciascuno dei tre singoli estratti ("Tranquillo", "Solo Lei Ha Quel Che Voglio" e "Dimmi Di Sbagliato Che C'è") supera le 200.000 copie vendute. Grazie allo straordinario successo calcano i palchi di tutta Italia, tra cui quello del Festivalbar (in cui nel 1997 vincono il premio come artista rivelazione dell'anno) e degli MTV Days nel 1997 e nel 1999. Proprio nel 1999 viene pubblicato "Sotto Lo Stesso Effetto", terzo LP dei Sottotono che si mantiene stilisticamente sul loro inconfondibile mix tra rap West Coast, r'n'b e soul. Nel 2001, dopo la partecipazione al Festival di Sanremo con "Mezze Verità", pubblicano "…In Teoria", il loro ultimo album prima dello scioglimento dei Sottotono... Da qui in poi la carriera di Big Fish è in continuo crescendo a livello di produzioni e dj set.

L'uscita del primo disco solista di Big Fish segna la nascita di Doner Music, management e label che dal 2006 ad oggi ha pubblicato, oltre ai suoi album, progetti di artisti come Nesli, Onemic, Ensi, Daniele Vit, Rancore & Dj Myke, Santiago, Aquadrop, Retrohandz e The Golden Toyz, consacrandolo come scopritore di talenti oltre che dj e produttore. Nel 2006 Big Fish produce "Tradimento" di Fabri Fibra, album che porta il rapper marchigiano al successo vendendo oltre 130.000 copie e ponendo le basi per un nuovo ciclo di diffusione mainstream del rap in Italia (...). Il 2012 è l'anno in cui Big Fish si concentra di nuovo sull'attività da solista mettendosi al lavoro per il suo secondo disco ufficiale "Niente di Personale", in uscita nel 2013 e anticipato dai singoli "Ballare" (feat. Nesli), "Solo Col Mic" (feat. Caparezza) e "Io Faccio" (feat. Morgan). Dopo vent'anni di produzioni nel mondo dell'hip hop nei quali ha dettato i trend e anticipato le mode, per il produttore urban numero uno in Italia è tempo di una nuova sfida: unire i mondi della musica elettronica e della canzone d'autore italiana per dare una scossa e un rinnovamento al panorama musicale italiano.

Il suo tributo a Lucio Dalla in chiave drum'n'bass all'interno delle finali di X-Factor 6 (2012) marca la convinzione di Big Fish che le traiettorie evolutive della canzone italiana non possono prescindere da un lato dai contributi storici ed artistici dei cantautori della nostra tradizione, dall'altro da una ricerca sonora che conferisca qualità ed evoluzione alla musica.

Il 1 settembre 2015 esce la sua prima release per Mad Decent, la label di Diplo: "Midnight Express", che contiene i due brani "Don't you say you love me" (w/ Aquadrop) e "Theron".

Proprio la strumentale di "Theron" viene utilizzata da Big Fish per la sua seconda release su Mad Decent: "Ognuno ha ciò che si merita (Theron remix)", che vede il feat. di Fabri Fibra e che porta per la prima volta un rapper italiano su una label di musica elettronica di calibro internazionale. Il singolo debutta al primo posto della classifica di musica elettronica su iTunes.
