Adding on to the recent neogender/xenogender discourse, I feel that people don't talk enough about the fact that gender umbrellas can overlap a lot, and that acknowledging that xenogender and other neogender umbrellas are different doesn't mean that terms can't be used in a xenine way

I think that people on both sides of the debate fail to realize that distinguishing different umbrellas from xenogender doesn't mean that we have to disown or shrink xenogender's place as an umbrella term, and that labels can be very subjective and not overly strict and categorized.

Imthanata is an umbrella for identities related to or framed in immortality, with a focus on the mundane and dull rather than deific and extraordinary. It is about living a life as an immortal or through the lens of immortality.

Watching a tree grow from seed, making fleeting attachments, finding new things to ponder and enjoy, acts of kindness which are not even a blip in one's life but everything for those they are done to. Sitting back and watching how we learn more and more about the universe, taking a telescope and observing how much the sky has changed over time. All of these are examples of the nature of imthanata. They are not grand, instead being down-to-earth and free.
