ashley williams was written terribly and still has a better arc than what the writers gave garrus.

#idk how to tag this #because their arcs are both finding their place in the world after a lifetime of military service.#but ash's comes to a more satisfying conclusion than garrus's imo. she works her ass off and gets results after decades of the family curse #and she still isn't sure she's worth it which idk makes sense considering how often she got passed over.#meanwhile garrus's arc is he can be something outside of the military and shepard to... being a military leader and shepard's yes man.#it's just. there was so much potential and the “we're best friends” shtick pisses me off. that's it? that's all his character gets?#reduced to a yes man with no personality outside of support shepard? like even his promotion to military advisor is bc of shepard.#why was he not given a position as a sharpshooter instead. the whole thing about archangel was he was a great shot.#why did his arc have to be about shepard #just. disappointing to see.#and ash's arc is not good. i have many thoughts about that too. but it was done better than garrus by a long shot.#mass effect #also. one is the most hated character in the entire fandom and the other gets his birddick sucked by everyone. even though they're the same.#>:(

working at those roblox customer service job games is insane. because last night there was some guy who kept being a smartass and the way he was ordering made me want to pull my hair out and run into the woods. "You want a bacon burger without pork.. so.. a normal burger?" "no. bacon burger with no pork" "but bacon is pork." "N o."

(i just gave him a normal bacon burger, i really have no clue. you ask for a bacon burger, you're getting the freakinf bacon burger)

"Do you want your ice cream in a cup or a cone?" "yes."

this guy was at my register for a total of maybe 20 or 30 minutes i have no CLUE

he was right on the edge of what counted as trolling. like, teetering off a cliffside. I was very close to calling a moderator at some point.

These people put you through hell and back. they make you growl like a wild animal at the screen. they drain you of every ounce of whimsy and life you have. and then, out of nowhere, they tip you 500 freaking robux for what im assuming is the big finale. an unexpected plot twist. (and compensation,) and then they leave.

we’re talking about getting me a job at a gas station. my friends all make $60K plus.

i have to work in a gas station.

while there are some things I disagree with about that post (I would argue the most slave-esque job in modern america is immigrant farm worker/meatpacking worker (esp since there’s been more exposes about children being hired to work these places)), I think something some people just don’t want to have to come to grips with is that in order for things to get better for other, more vulnerable people, you will need to consume less. or at the very least consume better

#I’m not going to act like I never use these services #but taking public transportation vs Ubers has saved me so much money #I don’t really buy stuff off Amazon anymore unless I can’t get it somewhere else #ubereats/doordash isn’t even worth it bc the fees are fucking ridiculous and most of that money isn’t even going to the driver

just a heads up since im seeing it a lot on etsy while i look for used games: you can do 3ds hacking yourself and people asking for 50 bucks to do it for you are hucksters

#the only mail in service ive seen so far that might be worth it is physical modifications for your system bc that involves a lot more work #but. other than that....#also if you want a big multigame cart just buy a blank flash cart and put games on it yourself #a majority of the games you're gonna get on those are most likely shovelware that you don't want #a blank flashcart will let you pick and choose for yourself

#grace post #most worth it box set dvd purchase of my life #did you know the streaming service versions of the first four seasons are in widescreen?#and they were filmed in . ok i forget the ratio name but the standard tv ratio that isnt square #so the streaming service versions always have like. empty space in shots. you see camera crew shoulders multiple times #anyway dvd version i own does not have this ✋ so i am so happy
