Bonding with Howard Starks son might be the only chance he has to infiltrate the organisation.... And to find Bucky.

Tony doesn’t want to get bonded. EVER. But he’s six weeks pregnant, and Howard insists that no Stark is going to be an unbonded mother. As his father gets the final say, and this Steve guy simply won’t be deterred, it looks like he’s going to have to deal with it.

But it’s fine, because they’re both determined to get out of this situation as quickly as possible... It would only be complicated if they actually fell in love.

I am finally! Posting! My @marveltrumpshate fic for the 2021 auction!

It's a WinterIron Witcher AU! Rated E for porn and monster murder.

Bucky, a Witcher, loses an arm in a fight with a Hydra. Natasha, the sorceress also known as the Black Widow, arranges for him to get a new one from her friend the technomage Tony, aka Iron Man, in exchange for some monster hunting. Fucking sorcerers is a terrible idea, but Bucky accepts that he's gonna do it anyway. Tony is very on board with this idea.

This fic is Complete, but posting more than one chapter a day is Hard so you're getting it drip-style. Enjoy!

An Open Palm

The simplest and smartest thing to do would be to kill Tony Stark. He was a danger to the Rings and to himself, the world's foremost expert in creating destruction out of nothing. Wenwu was no fool; if you played with fire, you were bound to get burned. But that was only if you didn't know how to master it and he did. He knew how to provide the spark and how to temper the resulting flame, how to keep it from sputtering out or engulfing everything in its path. He knew how to make it his because he knew what Tony Stark wanted and more importantly, needed.

I'm obsessed with Wenwu so when @magicasen asked if I would be up for writing about a meeting between Tony and Wenwu for @marveltrumpshate (I believe it was after we both saw this art), of course I said yes despite not being sure I'd be able to do it. This is set in a canon-divergent IM2 where Tony is hellbent on going after the Ten Rings and Wenwu takes a keen interest in Tony. Exact dates in the MCU can be shaky, but this is also coincidentally around the time that Shang-Chi ran away.

This Road was Always Meant for Two

The Winter Soldier is dangerous. Since his rescue from HYDRA, SHIELD have been low-key trying to figure out how to handle the complex case of James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes, an Omega with super serum and a volatile disposition. Due to frequent Heats and a lack of coping mechanisms for dealing with the free world in modern times, it's deemed that the best course of action is to assign a Support Alpha... except Barnes has systematically and sometimes violently rejected every Alpha put in his path.

Enter Steve Rogers, trained (if lapsed) Support Omega as a last ditch attempt to resolve the issue.

So this is for the wonderful @zepysgirl who won me in the @marveltrumpshate auction this year (for a second year running, I might add!) and requested something a bit like this.  I hope I’ve done it justice!  Fic will be updating weekly until complete!

She hands Steve the folder, he opens it— And immediately forgets about the temptress he had just been contemplating scandalously making his wife.  He feels pinned in place as his eyes take in the one picture before him.  This is a man.  This is a picture of the most beautiful man Steve has ever set eyes on.  It’s obviously taken without his knowledge, zoomed in from afar, maybe outside from the street. The man sits at a small table within a shop, possibly a coffee shop or maybe a bookstore, head buried in a book, cup and saucer taking up most of the space on the small table that he occupies.  It’s a simple photo, an unimpressive one even, yet Steve is forced to make an active effort to steady his breathing. He knows Natasha wouldn’t joke with him, wouldn’t play these sorts of games with him, his sexuality, and the seriousness of the situation. He asks anyway.  “Are you fucking with me?” He doesn’t look over at her as he asks his question; he can’t pull his eyes away from the photo in his lap. All he gets in response is a curt, “No,” and he knows it to be true. Steve’s first coherent thought is that he can’t imagine how intensely beautiful this man is in person if he looks like this from this shitty angle and from so far away and through the foggy glass of the shop. Hair the color of the richest chocolate, a pink mouth that pouts so naturally it’s making Steve dizzy, long and elegant fingers and deliciously long legs that seem endless— Steve wants...

21. How many kudos in total did you get this year?

I think the stats on this are a little weird bc AO3 just totals the number of kudos on fics you published this year, so it leaves out the kudos I got this year on fics from previous years. Anyway, my total for 2023 is 27,251. Which is twice what I have on 2022 fics and almost 4 times what I have on 2021 fics. Bonkers.

23. Did you do any collaborative works this year?

Not this year! I've never collaborated with another author, but cricket and I have a hockey AU collab all plotted out and definite plans to work on it next year lol.
