who the hell are aspity and rexx?!?!?!

1. What motivates your character?

gratta is motivated by money these days, plain and simple! sorry chief!

wixxi's motivations are different these days. she wants a future for herself, she wants a life where she can kick back and relax. she wants to escape a cycle of being used like a toy and just stare at her boyfriend 50% of the day.

15. What habits does your character have?

wixxi is prone to tugging on her braids, plucking at her sweater, and fiddling with her necklace / scarf.

gratta picks her teeth, plucks at graying fur, smooths out her epic sexy mullet and snorts up phlegm a lot.

27. How does your character view themselves?

wixxi does not think highly of herself at all! she's a burden, she is something that needs to be carried. to know her is a crime, she is a waste of space. it should've been her that died in maguuma, dragonfall, you name it. she thinks she's a loser, but 3 people like her so it's bearable.

on a good day gratta thinks she is so cool and awesome and that she is the biggest baddest babe on the block.

35. Imagine the ideal home for your character. Where would it be located? What type of housing would it be? Who/what would be there?

umm you already know where wixxi wants to be silly!!!!

gratta right now, is content where she is with iovitus. if anything happened to that she'd probably die and make it everyones problem.

2. How does the public view them?

since the inquest is socially acceptable, rexx is just like a person who experiments on orphans and puppies on the side for fun. they're just a guy who gets paid to do morally questionable things. isn't that so fun???

aspity is a sick twisted freak to the world. to society, even. it is very clearly traumatized and has seen something, believable or not. many people outside of its warband rather just uhh... ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist because if aspity notices you heh well...

24. From childhood to their current age, how has your character changed?

rexx hasn't really changed much since they were a progeny, but they're a lot more obnoxious to be around because yeah. i'm in charge, yeah, my dad is powerful. yeah, i'm a nepo baby.

aspity has changed too much. nobody even remembers what it was like as a cub. normal, probably.

26. What are the top three most distinguishable personality traits of your character?

i can't really think of anything for rexx and aspity, i hate listing personalities because they're in my brain and thats all that matters.

44. What does your character fear?

rexx fears death itself. the whole concept, they would do anything to reverse death and find a cure for it.

in an edgy way, aspity isn't really afraid of anything anymore that's like... normal, it's afraid of the mists, though.

46. Does your character specialize or have remarkable talent in anything? If so, what is it?

rexx is an extraordinary doctor if not for their title of overseer for whatever the hell they doing -_-

aspity is very good at close quarter combat. unusually good despite its small stature.

The problem i have with the magi in mother 3 is their name is an ethnic slur

Deeply unfortunate that it is. It almost definitely wasn't made with any bad intentions, from my understanding most people in general were unaware it was an ethnic slur, and I imagine 2006 japanese creatives esp didn't know this, but the fact that its their name still remains. I like naturalkillercyborg's alternative of calling them Majesties, still has basically the same cadence and also I think ties in nicely with the visual element of them resembling drag queens in a lot of ways.

do you have anything in the Fairy Tale au for Nezha?

Okay so hear me out:

Thumbelina.

A tiny warrior born from a lotus blossom! Obviously this one won’t follow the actual fairy tale that much but I can’t really resist the idea. Just a tiny little guy done with the bullshit of the big world. He makes his clothes out of lotus petals enchanted to be stronger and never wilt carrying a spear made of a large sewing needle and decorated with a ribbon. His skates are made from a pair of dolls shoes and the wheels of a fancy small metal toy cart or carriage .

I don’t really know what role he would play in the greater story right now but he would probably end up traveling with either MK or Wukong for a little potentially both. Eventually he could settle down in the village Pigsys is located in getting a custom little home!

That’s just a loose idea for his place in the story though if I or someone else thinks of a better idea I’ll gladly change it.
