I need recovery after angsty Mushitaro🥲

Can I please request Fluffy fic with Mushitaro, with an almost-a-toddler son who loves to pull and messed up his neat glossy hair? But throws a tiny tantrum if anyone ruffles/messed up the kid's hair.

Mainly likes to mess with Mushi especially when s/o's not looking, often like a little heart attack(ex: him trying to push down a glass of water from the table to break it, pulling hard on his bow tie, etc)

Mushitaro Oguri as stressed dad || GN!Reader as S/O

Mushitaro and you were enjoying your family life, with an almost toddler son, constantly having new adventures and raising him to be a good person. However, your little angel was often little heart attack for Mushitaro.

As you would do something, shower or prepare a meal and left two of them to entertain each other and spend time together, your little boy would use an opportunity to stress out Oguri as much as he could.

He would ask to be on his lap, all innocent and angelic, looking for cuddles. Mushitaro was smiling, picking up his beloved son and placing him on his lap to earn flushed cheeks and beloved giggles from the boy. He would be calm for a little while, truly an angel. But as soon as Oguri would pay slightly more attention to TV or something else, boy would suddenly grab his bow harshly, pulling it towards, almost breaking Mushi's neck. They said don't doubt a child's strenght for a good reason.

Mushitaro choked out, shocked at sudden pain and force.

"Hey, hey! No pulling! Do you want to break my neck?" he said a bit shocked and boy looked at him, eyes wide and started to giggle out.

"Hm, you want to see it, huh?" Mushitaro asked and took off his bow to give a curious little one so he can inspect it.

His small hands took it, turning it around, mouth slightly open and he had no thoughts behind those eyes. But, he did have that usual baby mischief. Boy started stretching out his little arm towards the glass on the table that contained orange juice. He tried to dip it inside and Mushitaro saw just in the right moment, his heart racing, quickly pulling the boy away and taking bow out of his hand.

"No, no, we can't do that." he sighed out. Boy looked disappointed, but quickly found a new way to stress his dad out. He leaned forward, trying to grab the glass, resulting in glass moving around and almost falling off of the table. Once again, Mushi quickly saved something from getting ruined. He was sweating at this point. How something so small can stress him out so much? Boy looked at saved glass giggling, dipping his small fingers inside and slapping Mushitaro over the face with sticky fingers. Mushitaro blinked, it wasn't a weak slap mind you and he yelled out.

"Ouch! Hey!" his face was serious, he was offended by his own child slapping him.

Right after little boy decided to put his small hands on Mushitaro's face earning a warm smile from him.

"What are you scheming now?" Mushi said through small laugh, closing his eyes, boy pulling his hair suddenly, trying to get up.

"OUCH! OUCH! STOP IT!" Mushitaro yelled out in pain.

Boy clapped his hands, entertained and bumped his head into Mushitaro's chest, deciding to bite him. His teeth were small, but sharp. Mushitaro screamed out, moving away from child's bite. Boy kept giggling and moving his head around.

"Just you wait until Y/N comes! Mhm! You will see." he sighed out, keeping an eye on little boy who gave him innocent, puppy eyes and a wide smile.

"Hmph! Don't look at me like that, just you wait!" Mushitaro was "threating" him earning more giggles from the boy.

You came in the room and your kid quickly got off Mushi's lap messily rushing towards you. You bowed down, stretching your arms to meet him in a big hug. You picked him up, turning your back to Mushitaro, meanwhile little boy was looking over your shoulder. You swayed left and right, while boy was hugging you, his arms around your neck and he looked at Mushitaro, his tongue out, with a little smile. Boy was mocking him.

Mushitaro was shocked, once again. He raised an eyebrow at the boy.

"Oooo who is my little angel? You are, yes, you are!" you were singing to your baby boy, earning his giggles and little claps.

Mushitaro thought it would be funny if he did same thing back to him so he stick his tongue out. It resulted in a boy crying. Well, more like forcing it out to be as dramatic as his father was to earn more attention from you. As you turned around, you were dumbfounded at your husband "mocking" the baby. You consoled your boy, stroking his little head, giving warning look to Mushitaro.

"He did it first!" Oguri said in high pitched voice, trying to defend himself.

"Mushitaro Oguri! He is a baby, barely 2 years old! You are an adult. Behave yourself. There, there angel, was daddy mean towards you? I know." you scolded your husband in sharp voice, meanwhile comforting your child in soft, loving voice stroking his head and boy smiling back at you, happy with attention.

"You weren't here! He tried to knock off the glass, almost drowned my bow, pulled my hair AND BIT ME!" he said dramatically.

"Oh, poor you! He is a baby, of course he is going to explore stuff around him." you said, making sarcastic remark.

"More like destroy, hmph!" Mushitaro said, crossing his arms, scoffing.

"One more word and I will destroy you, you hear me?" you said in joking tone, child giggling in your arms.

"Maybe two of you need fresh air, how about you take him for a walk while I finish up what I started?" you looked at Mushitaro who was behaving like a bigger kid than your own.

"Fine. But if I don't come home, you know what happened to me!" he said as he got up, getting ready for a walk.

"Don't be so dramatic, it's a walk, not war. We took him on walks before and it was completely fine, he is just an energetic kid." you said through laughter and slowly put your baby boy down. He hugged Mushitaro's legs, looking up with a huge smile.

"But that was with you, he loves you more and listens to you. With me, he is different! It's like Jekyll and Hide! I am telling you Y/N!" he said, stroking his baby boy's hair. He really got Mushitaro's genes and soft, beautiful hair. Mushi loved playing with it, styling it and taking care of it.

"You did not just compare our child to that!" you laughed out.

"Also, it's not true, he adores you Mushitaro, look at him!" you said looking at your kid closing his eyes at Mushitaro's touch and hugging him thighter. Your kid adored both of you, he just enjoyed Mushitaro's dramatic, over the edge responses and expressions, you were more collected, calm one.

Mushitaro smiled softly at your child, messing his hair up to earn few giggles and kneeled down to pick him up and take him to the bathroom, taking good 20 minutes to style and brush boy's hair.

"You are almost as handsome as I am! Look how pretty your hair is." Mushitaro said jokingly, but second part was genuine. Boy was smiling to himself and Mushitaro in the mirror. They left the bathroom and Mushitaro put their shoes on.

Maybe walk will be good for both of them. You kissed them both goodbye on the cheek and returned to do things you had to do.

Mushitaro put boy down, taking his hand and going to a local park. He really loved this park, he loved you and your family. Boy also enjoyed the park, new faces, few animals, smell of flowers, birds singing, his dad holding his hand and talking about stuff he couldn't really understand yet, but loved sound of his voice, expressions and new things Mushitaro would show him.

Kid got distracted by a swing and as Mushitaro kept on and on about how they added new cherry tree and he can't wait until it blossoms so he can bring his boy here to experience such beauty, kid started running towards the swing, pulling away from Mushitaro's grip. Mushitaro stopped for a second, processing what happened and looking at his boy running towards the swing. He quickly ran after his kid, praying he won't fall down before he reaches him.

A kid bumped into stranger's legs, taking few small, messy steps back and looking up to meet some middle aged man gaze.

"Ah sorry sir! I got distracted for a second and he ran away, I am truly sorry." Mushitaro came up to them, apologizing to a man and looking at his boy. He kneeled down and started adjusting boy's shirt.

"You can't run off like that, you got me scared." Mushitaro said in serious tone.

"No! No! Please, I know what is like having kids, hahah! Minds of their own, it's okay! Good thing boy didn't get hurt, my knees will be fine!" man said laughing and went down to mess up boy's hair Mushitaro worked hard on. His gaze got serious, but he didn't say anything, boy's face confused. Man didn't seem to know his limit, at this point completely ruining his hair.

Mushitaro pulled away his boy gently.

"That will be enough from you! Thank you and sorry once again, we have to go!" Mushitaro said offended and serious, just who this man thought he was messing his boy's hair like that?

They came home.

"No Y/N! You don't understand, the audacity he had to ruin my boy's hair like that! People are truly a scum, jeez." he said as he was combing through boy's locks, annoyance all over his face.

"A crime, indeed! Next time sue him!" you said giggling at his story.

"Next time I will cut his fing.."

"Hey!" you yelled out.

"Fine, fine..you know what I mean, love." Mushitaro said calming down, you and your little boy giggling together.

Hello! Hope you don't mind the random ask 🥺 You said after the newest episode that Mushitarou is one of your favorite BSD characters; could you talk a little about your thoughts on him/why you love him/his arc? He's one of my favorites too, and it makes me so so sad how underrated he is, because imo he's one of the most well-written and tragic characters in the entire series, despite how little screentime (pagetime?) he gets :' ) I wish more people would talk about him. Really hope that changes after the next episode 💚

I honestly almost screamed when I got this ask YES I CAN TALK ABOUT MUSHITARO. I CAN TALK ABOUT HIM ALL DAY.

Ok well first of all he is the poor little meow meow. Pathetic scrunkly man. I'm sorry but you can't deny that it's true. Even in-universe, it's like he's the BSD world's chew toy. He keeps getting kidnapped by different organizations with like. No breathing room in between. Give him a BREAK. Funnily enough, I enjoy and usually like to poke fun at these kinds of characters, but they're not typically my favourites. Mushitaro is, by far, an exception to my usual favourite character types.

Second, I am a lover of bittersweet tragic storylines. Yeah. Honestly, the way the storyline built to the slow reveal - I knew immediately after Poe mentioned the water droplets that they were his tears, and I was starting to suspect what was really going on, but the way it was unraveled was so, so painful and beautifully done. Even knowing it was coming today when I watched the episode, it still hurt.

Thirdly, Mushitaro's circumstances raise some intriguing questions we still don't have answered. He was captured by the Seventh Agency and made to work for them with his ability - he considers them a worse alternative to Dostoevsky and refers to them as tyrants. (We also know of another shadowy organization that takes on ability users with useful skills for nefarious purposes, V. V also somehow managed to not be discovered by either the government or Ranpo in 13 years. I'm not saying there's a connection there but... but... there might be. 👀) Anyways, point is, there's stuff goin' on there. And I wanna know. (Also I like the motivation parallels with Ango very much.)

But most of all, I fully agree with you - he is very well-written. What I love most about his character is actually the way his narrative showcases what I believe to be some of the series' character writing's biggest strengths - to excellent (and heartbreaking) effect.

Characters are often revealed to be quite different than what their initial introductions would suggest. Later revelations serve to recontextualize earlier character cues - these early cues are often misleading but not outright lies.

To be clear, this isn't a hard or particularly unique thing in character writing - in fact, this is... kind of a minimum requirement. Your audience should be able to go back after the fact and notice new things about characters that you only get on re-read. But I find BSD is interesting for this because these initial impressions don't frequently tell you what these characters actually value - the "establishing moments" are often incredibly misleading. Mushitaro is an excellent example of this.

The best part of the perfect murder arc is the way it slowly unravels piece by piece - and as it unravels, more and more, we get to see the real Mushitaro. He starts off with these terrifying facial expressions, bragging and boasting about how he is the "detective killer" and how none stand in his way, cackling like a shallow cartoon villain. There's not much there to suggest a deeper character. Then there's the first flash to Yokomizo's murder, and Mushitaro appears to revel in it and the idea that he can't be caught. Another flashback shows him making these arrogant demands of a literal terrorist, like all his tableware being silver and porcelain and having access to a library of occult books for his study. Ok dude. This all paints the picture of a selfish individual, primarily concerned with expensive things and money and image - all things that perfectly fit Ranpo's initial conjecture as to the kind of person behind the Kindaichi murder. And just like Ranpo later says, it's a little too perfect.

The reveal builds slowly but surely, and Mushitaro's built-up image as a dramatic, remorseless murderer crumbles. Because he didn't kill out of hatred at all. He killed Yokomizo because Yokomizo asked him to do so. Because this, and the legacy of a mystery that transcended fiction into reality, was his only friend's dying wish. It was enough for Mushitaro to delay his escape just to fulfill it - what Ranpo refers to as a kind of willing self-destruction.

What Mushitaro ultimately values then is honouring the wishes of those he cares about and repaying those he owes. He will take the secret of Yokomizo's ultimate mystery to his grave. He used what he likely thought were his last moments alive to grab the transceiver and warn Ranpo about the danger the Agency was in. He only decided to trust Ango after Ango admitted his use of the Seventh Agency was to honour Oda's memory and wishes.

So, going back and re-reading his intro again, it becomes more clear that he was suffering from a kind of cognitive dissonance. "But wasn't he just playing the role he was supposed to?" No. He wasn't. The first flashback to Yokomizo's murder is much more violent and ends with Mushitaro cackling and going into a full villain monologue when there is no one else around but him. There's no one to perform this role for - except Mushitaro himself.

Both the killing and the ensuing grief stemmed from the exact same source - Mushitaro loved his friend deeply. But there is, I believe, no small amount of bitterness too, for the way they argued frequently, and the way his friend asked this of him. It's practically irreconcilable in his mind, and so Mushitaro leans into his role as the evil perpetrator who hated Yokomizo to such a degree that I honestly think he started to believe it - Mushitaro, with two narratives in his mind running parallel to each other that are fundamentally conflicting, tried to make a monster of himself. Insisted on being the monster, at least until Ranpo made it impossible for him to deny the true motive behind his actions - protecting his friend's last wish.

Fittingly for the climactic reveal of a mystery storyline that blurs fiction and reality, Mushitaro's real-life grief was his perfect fictional role's undoing.

Is he boastful? Arrogant? A bit of a coward? Absolutely. But Mushitaro is no monstrous villain - he is a man unable to confront his grief over his friend's death, and who, ultimately, doesn't intend any real harm.

Because other than Yokomizo, revealed as an agreed upon assisted suicide - Mushitaro never murdered anyone.

2. Characters are not cured of their pain and trauma. They continue to struggle with it during their development and it actively impacts the way they view and interact with the world around them.

Mushitaro's story is heavily themed around grief and his consistent denial of it's effects on him. At first, he denies by embodying the role Yokomizo wanted him to play - it seems to the point where he legitimately started to lose it. He's slipping when we first meet him. In a weird way, for as much as Ranpo tore his perfect crime apart... I feel like he also saved him, in a sense. The dissonance he was experiencing likely only would've gotten worse if he had not been forced to speak the truth aloud.

After that point... the denial focuses solely on the idea that Mushitaro doesn't miss Yokomizo at all. That he's doing just fine and Yokomizo should be jealous (he's far from fine; he doesn't even see a point in going outside anymore now that he won't be able to see his friend) and that he hated him (he doesn't. he never did. but he has to. he can't deal with it.).

Another thing I really like about his arc is that Mushitaro's grief also clearly stems from the entire thing being traumatic for him - but neither Yokomizo nor Mushitaro are demonized or victimized for this; rather the situation is just shown as it is. It's nice, that the story allows the reader/viewer to draw their own judgements. Both had their reasons for their actions - Yokomizo was already dying and wanted to go out in a way that was meaningful to him, while Mushitaro chose to fulfill this wish in spite of the cost to him. They both mutually self-destructed, in a way.

The narrative doesn't frame either as the villain. It doesn't fully frame either in victimhood either. It's a tragedy all the same.

Mushitaro continues to see and hear Yokomizo wherever he goes, not because he can't get rid of him... but because he never wanted him to be gone in the first place. Stabbing me would hurt less I think. :/

3. Characters often grow and change before they consciously realize it or have any sort of "epiphany".

This ties in a lot with the ongoing theme of uncertainty, and I above all really like this aspect of the series. BSD has characters grow and change and try to be better, do better by themselves and others... without being sure of the outcome. Sometimes before they're ready to consciously admit a change is necessary. There are few epiphanies. The characters are forced to slog through hardship and only then suddenly realize how far they've come - for better or for worse.

Mushitaro does change, even in the short span of time he is a focus character. I love the first little signs of it too - Mushitaro, who doesn't even like mystery novels, uses a trick Yokomizo told him about to help himself, Atsushi and Kyouka escape. Look at him :')

Afterwards, he starts to wonder if he can see Yokomizo whenever he enters a locked room - as in, if connecting to the memory of his friend through what he loved in life will mean that he keeps that memory alive.

And as annoyed as he is with Poe's attempts to get him to write a mystery... a part of him is happy to be around people that he could start to consider his friends. Enough that the Yokomizo he hallucinates wonders if maybe he doesn't need him there anymore. And finally Mushitaro bursts.

But this is actually good. He's finally past that denial phase, the part that had him talking about hate when really he missed him all along. Thing is, he'd already been developing and changing by this point, in that he needed the growth to come to terms with this truth, and it was not the truth that drove the growth.

In a sense, Mushitaro working through his grief and uncertainty led him to a brighter outcome, one where he has more friends and can start anew. He lost the closest person in his life. But his arc continuously asserts that in spite of the fact that he will always miss his friend, Mushitaro himself is still alive. And he should live that life - both moving forward and keeping the memory of his friend with him.

Odasaku believed that writing a novel was to write people. Poe was so insistent on getting him to write because it's a way of seeing the people we want to see anytime we want.

What a beautiful character arc, that began with fiction as an escape from real-life pain, and concluded with fiction as a means to work through it and with it instead.

Plus he's just such a funky little dude.

Sigma would act like the exotic animals at the casino shows are his pets but only for show, he doesn't really care and is glad he doesn't have to take care of them moore than to check that they're looking good and healthy.

Mori doesn't want pets but he gets big exotic animals to show off his wealth and status. he also has professional teams to take care of the animals.

I've been thinking about mushitaro's family lately.. Specially when she mentions her dad TWICE while talking with ranpo..

she looks so pretty in those panels.. ANYWAYS, mushitaro was clearly close to her father, kinda sad tho that he's dead.. UGH I wanna know more about her family sm😭 i wonder how she gets along with her mom, maybe she just gets along with her parents, thats cute ngl

wait okay. instead of going to sleep like a normal person. here's how I'd change the ages in bsd (for those that have a canon age), bc no one looks their age/it makes the timeline feel weird, i wanna let at least some major past events breathe a little between one another. possibly controversial takes ahead:

atsushi: i like that he's 18 actually. he looks and feels 16 but no yeah 18 works better. I'd say 20-21 would be nice but that'd reallyyyy throw his backstory's timing off unfortunately

dazai: 25

kunikida: around 27-28

ranpo: 28 also, maybe even 29 (his whole thing is that he looks young for his age anyway)

yosano: 28 as well

tanizaki: like. he does look 18. but also 16 and 21 at the same time. i like him as a bit older than atsushi so let's say 19-20, and naomi as well while we're at it

kenji: why is he 14. it's not that he doesn't look 14 it's that i simply did not expect a child to be the muscle in a detective agency. so please make him like at least 16 which is only just slightly better tbh

kyouka: yeah 14 is chill in her case imo. makes her more tragic 👍

katai: 27-29ish as well

fukuzawa: at least in his 50s. maybe 55ish, or even more. he def looks like it and it fits more with having a son in his 20s

akutagawa: i do want him to be older. but making his age gap with atsushi bigger is weird. so keeping him as a 20 y/o it is, maybe 21 at most

chuuya: 25

kouyou: 30s. early 40s even. she is already so milf coded. finding out she's 26 in canon was straight up offensive i swear. come on.

higuchi: 21

tachihara: 22 or 23 maybe? (the hunting dogs don't have canon ages but i like jouno and tecchou as 26ish so that way he's still like the baby of the group)

hirotsu: how is that man 50. make him 65 at least. jfc. the whole point is he's been with the mafia a long time. ik they keep recruiting teenagers for some reason but give me a break. my dad is pushing 70 and looks younger than him

q: actually my issue with them isn't that they don't look their age (tho they do look a bit younger ig) but that timeline wise?? they're so weird?? why did the mafia have a 6 y/o on deck that's just inconvenient for all parties involved. like i can excuse kyouka at 11ish but come ON. at least make them 10 in fifteen. or just bring them in later bc i just realized the timeline doesn't line up with the dazai and chuuya changes otherwise. man idk

nikolai: actually him being 26 is chill too. tho i wouldn't mind making him around 28-29ish too since i already aged up most 26 y/os so may as well go all the way.

shibusawa: yeah he can stay 29 too idm. i actually didn't know he had a canon age until now. cool!

i think that's everyone who has a canon age (excluding lns bc i haven't gotten to them yet)? aside from sigma maybe but his age is more of a plot device than a fun fact. and fukuchi is implied to be the same age as fukuzawa so, yeah just make them the same in this case too.

i did mess up the timeline myself with this. so lemme clear it up:

The War and the whole thing with mori and yosano still happened when she was 11, so 17 years before canon. that means mori was still in his 20s back then, no big change

untold origins still happened when ranpo was in his teens, honestly we can keep it 14, so 14 years ago, meaning fukuzawa was in his late 30 or early 40s. again not too big of a change I'd say

fifteen happens when. well. dazai and chuuya are 15. ten years ago. i don't want q there get them out of my sight (for now) let them be a kid for a bit!!!!! but yeah like in canon that means the previous boss's murder was a year before, 11 years ago. also while we're at it, stormbringer is also the same aka a year after 15

now this is where we shake things up just a bit. rather than occuring when dazai is 18, i think we can push the dark era to when he's 20 and still maintain the whole childlike thing he has going on there, it's not that big of a difference imo.

that means, 5 years before canon instead of 4, making akutagawa 15 back then, and ango 27 like odasaku.

also yeah q comes in at some point in the middle between those^ I'd say close to dark era than fifteen.

originally i wanted to make skk 26 but this started stretching things even more. bc now we gotta figure out how long dazai spent in hiding. and ig we can keep it 2 years and just make it so his entrance exam was 3 years before canon. again imo not that big of a stretch 🤔

idk why i said this changes the timeline a lot i think this is p simple. also lets ppl stew in their situation for just a bit longer which i like more.

The DOA/RITHOTD preschool au!

The burning kitchen

It's another day in Mr. Goncharov's preschool class. The children were enjoying their free time in the classroom, playing nicely together so far. Little Sigma, the youngest of the class, was dashing back and forth between the pretend kitchen playset and the snack table where the kids normally eat their lunches. He was playing as the manager of his little pretend restaurant, and he was serious about it. Sigma wanted all his customers to be satisfied with his service, including satisfying the stubborn Mushitaro.

Mushitaro was a little vex to these games. If he was going to play, he made sure to be the antagonist and make the game much more difficult than it needed to be. Mushitaro liked playing the role of a food critic, always giving Sigma the unfortunate 4 star rating. This would always make poor Sigma upset. He believed that his restaurant was the greatest and DESERVED a 5 star rating.

After receiving another 4 star rating, delivered on a pink sticky note with poorly drawn stars and scribbles, Sigma huffed and stomped his little feet back over to the kitchen playset.

"PUSHKIN!" Sigma yelled in a high-pitched voice, which startled Pushkin. Pushkin was Sigma's one and only chef. "We got another 4 star rating from Mushitaro. I don't know what we're doing wrong. Are you slacking?" Sigma accused.

"I'm not slacking. I'm the one who's cooking, not you." Pushkin defend as he put a wooden block of milk into a plastic bowl with wooden eggs in it. "Mushitaro is being a meanie. That's what's happening. He doesn't know how hard I work to cook his order. I should put a dead cricket in his order next time." He muttered.

Sigma shook his head and protests. "No, don't do that. We'll lose customers."

"Why not? Crickets have nutritional value, my dad told me so." Pushkin argued.

"Nuh uh, bugs are gross and not meant to be eaten, you weirdo." Sigma was getting a little upset since he was scared of bugs.

"Yeah huh. You're just a scared of trying one." The two started to bicker. Despite this being a fun game for pretend, it was serious for them. If Sigma lost customers, the world would end in his little child mind.

The back and forth continued, calling each other names and getting so caught up in their petty argument (that was completely off-topic now) that Nikolai came over and threw balls of red paper into the plastic bowl Pushkin was using.

"Uh oh, seems like you got a fire!" Nikolai laughed loudly as Sigma screamed high pitched. Sigma yanked the bowl away from Pushkin and threw it into the pretend kitchen sink. But Nikolai continued to throw more red and orange balls off paper into Sigma's kitchen, causing a "fire." Nikolai was giggling joyfully as he watched Sigma try to put out this fake fire.

With all the commotion going on, Sigma screams, and Nikolai's laughter, Nathaniel came over wearing a plastic fire fighter helmet from Firehouse subs.

"Is there a fire?" He asked, holding an empty water bottle that he found.

"Yes. Please help." Sigma said in a panic. Nathaniel had a good look at the scene, seeing all the red and orange paper balls scattered across the kitchen playset.

"Hmmm, pay me first." He demanded.

"Why would I pay you?!" Sigma yelled, being extra loud.

"Because I'm going to need a lot more water to put out this fire, and I'm out of water." Nathaniel said with his logic.

"The money is burnt." Pushkin informed. Nathaniel looked at him straight in the eye before shrugging.

"Guess you guys are on your own then." Nathaniel turned to abandon them. Wow, what a great firefighter. Nikolai laughed more, watching all of this before running to leave the scene he caused. Sigma looked upset. He was upset. Sigma was about to throw a fit before Ivan announced it was snack time.

All the children were distracted by the announcement of snack time, including Sigma. Today was sugar cookie day, which cheered him up in an instant, forgetting all about his little game for now. During nap time, Ivan picked up and cleaned some of the room, picking up Nikolai's mess he caused in the pretend kitchen area. This brought joy to Sigma's face to see his kitchen wasn't on "fire" anymore when he woke up. All was well once again. Expect for that 4-star rating.

I'm writing on a longer post about a Soukoku AU where they live in a studio ghibli like world without abilities in a small town at the sea.

Chuuya works in the bakery of his brother Verlaine who will travel to France for a few weeks with his husband Arthur Rimbaud as thier honeymoon. Due to this, they search someone who is willing to help Chuuya in the bakery even tho Chuuya exclaimed that he can handle it alone. Verlaine is still a very overprotective and caring brother.

Dazai is the son of a rich fisherman but he never worked at his dad's buisness or worked in general. He only wants to write and stay at home which doesn't help with his constant boredom and his depression at all. After some time, his dad wants him to find a real job where he earns money.

Eventually they both met one morning in the bakery and fall in love instantly. Dazai suddenly would work day and night for this man aswell as to get to know him and applys for the job even though he can't bake for shit. Bc Verlaine will watch him bake something in a few weeks as a test, he seeks the help of his childhood friends Fyodor and Nikolai aswell as from thier husbands Sigma and Shibusawa.

Fyodor and Nikolai both fled from thier home counties as teens and now they live in the small town. Fyodor works at the local bookstore and many find the quiet and intelligent russian man creepy. In truth he isn't evil at all. Nikolai works at the local theatre, Sigma works at the local gambling hall and hates Dazai and Shibusawa is the towns best Tailor. All of them are married to each other.

He also seeks the help of his own siblings Elise and Yumeno. After a week of hard work he gets the job and he and Chuuya work together while falling in love even more. Some slight shit happens, leading them to comfort each other and confess. When Paul and Arthur arrive back in the town, he gets greeted by a very happy new couple. Also Dazai finally found happiness too.

Ft. Ranpo as the towns private detective, Poe, Ranpo's boyfriend who works together with Fyodor in the towns bookstore, Mushitaro as Poe and Ranpo's stressed roommate (or boyfriend. Nobody knows), Atushi as fisherman in training, Akutagawa as worker in the local flower shop who is secretly dating the sunshine Atushi, Gin who is Higuchi's wive and works with her brother at the flower store, Yosano as Ranpo's childhood friend, Koyo's wive and the towns local doctor who is worried about Dazai's depression hole, Jouno and Tecchou as married police men, Bram as the mysterious Earl and bookstore owner who adopted Aya (also he is in a wheelchair but can walk short lengths) and Kenji as the farmer boy from a farm from outside the town who brings vegetables to the towns stores and flour to the bakery.

I'm still writing on every thing but it's just something comforting to me.

Just finished watching season 4 of bsd and there was so much happening omg but here are some of the funniest scenes from the season (in my opinion). In no particular order:

Poe and the two policemen freaking out over the raven cries as the cellphone ringtone only for Poe to be like “oh it’s mine. I don’t usually get phone calls.” Me too poe. Me too.

Dazai’s face when he got captured. Why did he look like that

Kunikida asking the driver if he had vehicle theft insurance and when he said yes, pulling a gun out and congratulating the driver and saying that he’ll get a new car after this

The description for one of the episodes being “Kunikida blows himself up with a grenade” cause I had to pause the episode before it even began to stare at that
