My favorite art movement is art nouveau, I like poster art and antique fairytale illustrations a lot, and in terms of art history I'm most interested in renaissance, early baroque and gloomy 19th century romanticism.

EXCITING news on the debt front

we got the water bill today and the total bill is $214.17!!!! YAY!!! and to keep it from getting shut off we need $150 of that by MONDAY (6/17)

to make this so much worse, i found out we still owe $300 on last months rent! aint that swell? im not even raising for internet anymore im just trying to keep a roof over my head and water in my toilet.

See the reason why I will always be down with the poc Jason headcanon is because I look at the way his lashing out as a grieving child gets interpreted/demonized as “anger issues”, and the way Bruce at times projected “anger issues” onto him that weren’t actually there and also immediately assumed that Jason was bound to become a dangerous criminal unless he intervened despite the fact that Jason was just trying to survive and said himself that he “didn’t wanna be a crook” and didn’t show violent inclinations until AFTER he became Robin and I go “idk, sounds kinda racialized to me buddy, hitting you with the melanin beam”. Now we know the real reason for this is classism but classism and racism are right next to each other on the periodic table so it doesn’t not fit yknow?

It's been under two years since I've joined tumblr and I don't have a good frame of reference to know if 400 followers in that time is impressive or not. It feels impressive tho, so it counts as a follower milestone for me :))

Its wierd to me cause like. I don't post art. Or writing. Everyone following me is just here because you like my rambles? I make insane rants with a ton of pictures of my favourite characters, and I've never had a group of people I'd rather share my thoughts with. You guys are so cool and every time I get an ask, or an ask game, or tagged I slightly explode inside. Gosh, yall will literally ask just me for my thoughts and opinions and that's. saw someone being wrong about kon on the internet again (i know. shocking) and you are all so lucky i'm sick and feverish and lazy because i DID just seriously entertain the thought of writing up a small essay complete with issue and panel citations about why it's simply incorrect to say that kon never really seemed to reciprocate any sort of crush on tim before geoff/tt03. this is just not true. you dont have to actually ship them but to downplay their importance to each other even in the earliest days is simply incorrect. i'm too tired and achy to bother digging through comics to pull up all the issues that have the bits i want to point at but like... they were both very mutually important to each other from early on. it was in no way shape or form one-sided, whether you want to read that as platonic or romantic. man.

Kiiinda unhappy w the fact that a mutual made a post essentially saying “if you support / interact with this proship neutral dont interact with me + DONT harass the account i mentioned” and then immediately got condescending/manipulative replies, asks, and Extreme dogpiling by the accounts friends/affiliates to the point of having to leave their account.

Personally I think if you can’t handle other people saying what you are, you maaybe should rethink identifying with that label.
