I just realized how similar Albus from BvZ is to my bug, Charley. Let me explain.

So my Bug, which I am referring to the Gator Boys series as Bug is the nickname for its listener. My bug’s name is Charley, for those who don’t know. He’s 19.

Anyway, I was thinking the other day and I noticed some parallels.

So to summarize Charley’s story, basically he is a bounty hunter in Al’Terra for the money. He sends it back to his five siblings to make ends meet? Why? Because their mother decided to spend most of her nights at the tavern flirting with different men, that’s what why! 😃

Anyway, Charley has five siblings. A fifteen year old brother named Soren Galedirel, a nine year old sister named Míriel, two five years old twins, boy and girl, named Ezeriah and Evanora, and an infant brother (who I don’t have a name for yet lmao)

All of his siblings are half siblings, because of their mother’s hobbies. And the fathers don’t stick around.

This means Charley and all his siblings are bastard children. Why does this matter you didn’t ask?

Both Charley and Albus are bastard children, specifically bastard sons. Now, they both have a younger brother. While Charley has three and Albus only has one I really know of. Charley has Soren while Albus has Devlin. Both brother’s are characterized as the smarter and more put together brother, with more responsibility.

It’s actually so funny how similar of a dynamic Charley and Soren have to Albus and Devlin. I didn’t watch bvz until after I watched all of Gator Boys and even then it was a few months later when I got into bvz itself.

And they also look similar in a sense? Charley has dark hair and tanned skin with acorn colored eyes. He looks like his father who left to get the milk. Albus has dark hair and brown eyes.

Also so do Devlin and Soren. Devlin has brown hair, although his is lighter than Soren who has like oral or slightly darker brown hair and green eyes whereas Devlin has brown.

Also both Charley and Albus are bounty hunters.

I’m telling you like none of this was intentional because I had no idea who Albus was before like May of this year, but I find this prospect of similarity kind of funny.

Thank God I’m Not You- HIMALAYAS feels like a very V1 and V2 song to me. Which is absolutely hilarious coming out of me and this blog.
