our main character is a little unhinged (a little is probably an understatement). you’ve only seen the beginning really, i’ve still got multiple flashback scenes i need to write out because her shenanigans didn’t just stop there (megumi would know 💀). i’m flattered that you love her character sm! writing it was amazing knowing that people like you would take the time out of ur day to send me a message about how much you adore her <3

this leads me to talk about her dynamic with megumi, you’re gonna make me cryyy, i’m touched that you really like it 🥹 it’s a lot of effort trying to get his character to mesh well with hers, i have to rethink sometimes and ask myself whether he’d really do some of the things i’d made him do, but then i’d backtrack and delete everything, you have no idea 😭 now i just chalk it up to the fact that no, he wouldn’t do any of these things (prank-calling his dad, writing a step-by-step guide for a girl about oral hygiene, fighting over a seat that puts some distance between him and a disgusting-looking child, laughing about literal mommy milkers, etc) at all. but yes, he would do these things if he was around such an influencer like y/n (majority of the time, she forces him to do stuff. he does enjoy it though.)

She’s sitting on her bed listening to his music and then she hears “cocaine side boob choke her with a sea view…” and she goes “wait…what did he just say?” and the two of them have that thing where she doesn’t google him right? So instead she FaceTimes him because she likes to do that now that they’ve hung out a few times she feels just as comfortable FaceTiming him than she does calling him so why not get to look at his face while he answers her questions? Harry of course answers immediately with a smile on his face and she can tell he’s just sitting in his living room while she begins pacing the length of her bed because she can’t ever sit still while on the phone.

“Honey I’m listening to this song of yours….” Harry goes a bit stiff and feels his heart begin to beat a bit faster because this can go any number of ways. “And I know you say cocaine side boob but what’s after that? Is it choker like the necklace?” Her voice is too innocent sounding for Harry’s liking as she’s quoting his own lyrics to him and he feels his cheeks get hot.

“Uhm yes?…it’s a necklace of…sorts.” She looks at him with a raised eyebrow and then he does it, he moves the phone so he’s holding it with one hand and he does his normal hand gesture he does when he sings the song on stage and brings his free hand up to his neck giving it a little squeeze.

“Oh..choke…her…two words got it…well okay sugar that’s all I needed.” Harry doesn’t have time to say anything before she’s ending the call with a smile on her face while his eyes are just wide and his mouth is slightly hung open and his mind is racing because he isn’t sure if she liked his answer or not. He lets out a deep sigh as he runs his hand over his face but then he feels his phone vibrating and it’s her FaceTiming him again. “You should’ve seen your face sugar plum…” Harry is back to being all smiles as her laugh fills his empty living room.

“You get some sort of sick satisfaction from seeing me suffer don’t you?” She just shrugs as she makes her way into her living room so she can plop down onto her couch.

“You’re not the only one with kinks honeybuns.” Harry nearly chokes on his saliva causing him to cough a few times as the words effortlessly tumble out of her mouth and he swears she talks slower than usual just so her accent is thicker, something he accidentally let slip that he enjoys so now she uses it against him any chance she can.

“Jesus Christ….” Harry’s voice is mumbled and barely above a whisper but he knows she heard him based on how he can see her roll her eyes as a smirk forms on her face.

“Language Harry…you’re a gentleman remember?”
