When you said that the unluckiest person is most hopeful, it reminded me of Nagito Komaeda. If the universe were combined, do you think he would fair well having Anti Cosmo as his anti fairy?

Funnily enough, I feel like it would be Hajime who would have an anti-fairy companion. I mean, he’s surrounded by extremely skilled people! That would attract bad luck in some way for him. Nagito wouldn’t be good food for anti-fairies. Or Fairies. Or Pixies.

...Honestly, Fairies aren’t quite sure what food he produces. It’s like a weird amalgamation of luck, desire, greed, and all sorts of emotions they can’t disentangle. Like a crockpot gone horribly horribly wrong. Eating any bit of that would make any fairy sick.

Just the thought of Makarov being in your arms as you hold him completely silent and still.

His chest against yours, breathing in a slow rhythm. Your heart beats as one, only flesh and bones to separate them. It sounds so loud in such a quiet room.

Makarov's calloused hands on your cheek. It feels too gentle for a man like him. You've made him soft. Turning him against his nature, making him in a man he hates. He should kill you for such an act.

The thought of gouging out your eyes just to have your screams fill the empty void flashes through Makarov's mind. His thumb still gentle against your cheekbone as he fought the urges.

For now he'll indulge in the last bits of humanity he had and let himself be held. Tomorrow it'd died as the sun rose, violence will consume him once again.

Beutelgeuse: ok so I have a haunting at 10am in Ohio, lunch at 12, got 4 hauntings scheduled in NY from 2pm-6pm, gonna lead a spook workshop in Cali at 7pm followed by a bar crawl, sleep that off till 3am, and then follow up with all the clients from this week who are worried bc they heard talk of tv show people showing up. If it's HER show, I'll need to clear up my schedule for when she shows up. If I make the walls bleed and draw little hearts in the blood, is that coming on too strong?

He is unbothered and delusional sure his charms will get him the girl. Love it 😆

In all seriousness, his attempts at making contact with Lydia and courting her, scaring her instead, is one of my favorite things in the sequel. Lydia terrified, meanwhile Betelgeuse out there swooning and sighing over getting to see her again 😂💚. He is definitely coming on too strong, but he so can't see it and it's hilarious.

I'm sure he did help her with the hauntings for her show, too. I hope that one comes up in movie three. No one can take that headcanon away from me. 😌

It is supposed to be miserably cold and snowy this weekend (we are getting the full brunt of the incoming Arctic blast). So naturally, the (already feeble) boiler in my apartment building has selected this very moment to die. They are supposed to be replacing it, but their maintenance schedule is often, uh. Leisurely. I also don't have to go into work on Monday since MLK Day, so that will be four long days of brrr.

As such, I will not be doing much other than sitting inside wrapped up in blankets with the space heaters blasting and, we all hope, possibly writing more fic (seize the moment while it lasts, etc). I shall grandiosely imagine that I will finish BOTH a Land of Snow and Shadow chapter (which is more likely since I already have a lot of it written) AND possibly a second new Unknown and Static Strange chapter. (Zomgz.) We will see.
