Was switching for the first time (as in, you were aware it was about to happen) scary or painful?

Hrmm, actually i can't remember a definitive "first time" when i started being more consciously aware of switching, i think it was more of a very gradual "oh wait, is That what these weird reoccurring symptoms are? that's what happens when i am about to switch?" because i EXTREMELY lack self awareness and it took me A Long time to put the dots together -- regardless, for us personally the first-ish times being aware of it probably weren't any more scary than Not Knowing what was going on

may be in part because our switches are Hardly ever an alter Intentionally trying to front/pushing the current fronter away from front and more like just an automatic Thing That Happens so it's usually a mutual "Oh what the hellOkay i guess this is happening now" from both alters involved

also the switching thing tends to . prevent me from moving or Thinking™ for like a couple of minutes minimum so i probably was too preoccupied with Not Being Able To Think to be consciously scared

Honestly? No. I don’t understand byler doubt. Even if it didn’t happen I would just end up critical of both networks and/or creative ability for throwing away a clear setup—the same exact way the creators of Game of Thrones did with Jon Snow’s parentage being meaningful for his overarching narrative.

I’m not gonna sit there thinking I’m "delusional" (ugh), crazy or saw something that wasn’t there, or be shamed by some shippers of a couple who "won" because someone fumbled the setup along the way. Creators lose their own plots all the time. We are not backing down to the lowest common denominator in our media just because some mfs are homophobic LMAO
