2023年良かった楽曲

今更ですが2023年良かった楽曲まとめです。そしてさあまとめるぞと思ってSpotifyのLibrary見ていったら未チェックの2023年リリースアルバムがちょくちょくあったので年始にチェックしようと思います……。

以下、所感。

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories (Drumless Edition)：大ヒットしたRandom Access Memoriesのドラムトラックなしバージョン。ドラムが無くても全曲素晴らしく音楽が成立しているというおそろしさ

かつしかトリオ - M.R.I_ミライ：日本の大御所フュージョンミュージシャン3名によるドラム/ベース/キーボードのトリオバンド。もうメンバーの皆様60歳近いというのに音色のチョイスと演奏の両方が素晴らしい

TESTSET - 1STST：LEO今井の歌唱はめちゃくちゃ好きなのだけどソロの音楽性は自分的には好みではないという問題が砂原良徳と組むことで解決されたMETAFIVEというユニットが存在していたわけですが色々あってMETAFIVEはもう活動できなくなりむむむと思っていたらそこから発展して活動を続けてくれたので私は大満足です

jizue - gnome：アルバム出さないんですかねと思ってたらTVドラマのサントラ作っていたのをさっき知った、あとで聞こう……

PIANO SHIFT - water of goddes：ドラムとピアノという最小構成いいですねと思ったやつ。そもそもピアノにモジュレーション系エフェクトをかけた系が好きだけという説もある

Nautilus - Revival：またしてもドラムとピアノ（シンセ）とベースという組み合わせかよとこれを書きながら気付きました

Sara Wakui - Time Won't Stop：全然よく知らないんだけど曲がすごく良かったというやつ。ピアニストの方らしいです

I Don't Like Mondays. - WOLF VIBES：またしてもアルバム出てたの知らなかったので後で聞きます、とはいえ多分この曲だけが異常に自分のツボにはまった感じ

怒髪天 - OUT老GUYS：怒髪天がハードロックやってる！　しかも格好良い！　そしてサビになるとちゃんとJポップ（笑）。増子さんボーカル普通にハードロックに合うんだな

10-FEET - 第ゼロ感：映画主題歌とか知らずに普通に最初聞いたときこれは売れるわと思いました

YOASOBI、松任谷由実 - 中央フリーウェイ：色々なアーティストが参加して松任谷由実楽曲をアレンジするアルバムの収録曲なのですがこの曲のアレンジが圧倒的にすごい、そして途中の歌詞完全にYOASOBIじゃんと思ったら歌詞もYOASOBIによって追加されてるとのことでもう完全にYOASOBIですね

松任谷由美、小田和正、財津和夫 - 今だから：↑と同じアルバムの収録曲なんですがYOASOBIとは逆に完全に80年代な曲で最近流行のシティポップアレンジかな……と思ったら本当に85年発売の楽曲そのままだそうです、完成度すごい

YOASOBI - アイドル：アレンジすごい、英語版もそりゃ売れるわ、あとYOASOBIって歌詞めっちゃちゃんと聞こえるんですよね、それも含めてすごい

okay so post epic odyssey where odysseus and Penelope have surfaced from their room finally and he and diomedes are catching up I'm imagining the conversation going something like this

2022年聞いた曲

そういえば2022年聞いた音楽のまとめを書いていなかったので2023年になってしまいましたが書きます。

2022年、一番印象が強かった楽曲は米津玄師のM八七でした。

映画が終わったあとにスタッフロールに切り替わる際に見事にハマる始まりのイントロ、適度だけどがっつり劇場の音響にハマる低音とストリングスの空間、映画の内容を想起させるけど解釈の幅は広い歌詞と、劇場で上映される映画の主題歌として完璧な出来の楽曲だなあと思いました。

（しかしSpotifyの再生数だとKICK BACKのほうが5倍多いんすよね、作品の勢いの差か……。）

YMOの人とYMOファンの人たちによるYMOの延長にある音楽。

EP1 TSTST（TESTSET）

LEO今井のボーカルは好きなのだけど氏の作る曲は合わないのでMETAFIVEの活動の延長線上でこの路線が続いてうれしい。

Figure（Fake Creators）

LITEとDE DE MOUSEが組んだユニット。音が鋭い。

Unify（Lettuce）

現代にこんなジャズファンクやってるなんて何者だと思ったらSouliveの人たちだった。

初恋の悪魔 -Dance With The Devil-（SOIL &“PIMP”SESSIONSにRHYMESTERを添えて）

RHYMESTERのラップすごいなと思ってSpotifyで漁りました。BBCライブの音源も聞けるのですがそっちも良かった。

フュージョンというかジャズロックというかピアノメインのバンドって熱いですよね。

2022年というか、1980年のアルバムなんですけどベースが素晴らしくて一時聞きまくってたのでご紹介。聞きすぎてなぜかジャケットの左の人が菊地成孔に見える呪いにかかった。

People talking about how Telemachus is written too young and "his song is more fitted to a 13 year old than a 20 year old" is both really funny and also kinda depressing.

There’s actual reasons - in Ancient Greece 20 year old men, while certainly not considered children, also weren't thought of as adults but instead youths. Admiteddly this a more athens leaning take, but even in Sparta men weren't allowed to hold political positions until they turned 30.

In a more modern take, as a 20 year old this is exactly how my peers act and feel. The vast majority of people in their early twenties have no idea what the hell they're doing.

Obviously not so much a tumblr problem - aged demographic and all - but also both really funny and a little sad to see on tiktok. Yes 14 year old, even at 20 you will be yearning to be Great with no idea how to do so.
