I’ve been negative interested in wedding planning but my beloved just suggested we could get married at the zoo.
We did the paperwork part and now just need to plan a public ceremony and gathering and the thought of doing that surrounded by otters is pretty off the charts.
#ramblies#there’s a couple by animal exhibits but the river otter one has tables set up surrounded by the tanks where they swim and play#that would be so cute and I’d feel way more okay with the cost knowing it was going to support the zoo#we need to inquire on food totals and stuff but yeah#my beloved is so smart#my working plan was ‘park????’

Amity Park is seen as a tourist trap, like the whole town. No one in Amity is aware of this. All tourists think the townees are just really into the act.
One (or multiple) super families have decided to go on a Classic American Road Trip™. Which means they simply must visit all the tourist traps they see!
While in Amity, on a guided bus tour, there is a ghost attack. While the other passengers are thrilled with the commitment to the bit, the superfamily starts to become suspicious.

Baby dog retrieve on quail!
#dogblr#rory borealis#SHE LOST HER LAST TOOTH!!!!!!!#this was just a session of carrying and lightly fetching the bird#i didnt have a lot of expectations besides 'dont try to eat it'#she did so so so so good#she was sooooo happy to fetch it#sooooo happy to carry it#she had very appropriate pressure and handed it over really well in exchange for chicken nugs#this video was staged after we were done for the day and she was tired#you can kinda see her try to go off to bury it right after she gets it#i will try to remember to bring out the tripod next time so i can film in the actual field where we work#we will be at this stage for a bit#my general plan here is:#1) many many many happinesses holding and carrying the bird#2) many many reps of holding the bird and doing a hand touch (we do this with toys daily so hopefully itll transfer over)#and then we'll see where we're at#she did some decent 'tracking' when she lost the bird in the bushes#very focused despite this being an urban park#i love to see it#she is so so so cool#bird dog training

the burnout is real lads . . . . .
#which is to say that i came home and just stared at the wall for roughly 2 hours instead of completing my documents#it was at least validating to get to talk to one of my coworkers today#and hear that they're just as burnt out as i am#and usually have to sit in the parking lot for 4 to 5 minutes before they come in because they just don't want to be here that badly#and it feels hard to admit because this is typically thought of as a passion driven profession#and it's like#neither of us have lost the passion for it???#it's not that we hate our jobs#it's just that we both feel like. we're putting in increasingly more effort week by week but we're just.#no longer getting results.#i mentioned how i feel like my faith in my ability to do this kind of work has just plummeted to zero#not at all helped by my mentor constantly pushing me to go faster and faster but then getting mad when my presentations go poorly#because i went faster or reduced the amount of material or cut the Q and A section down 10 minutes#i just feel . . . . . tired . . . . . . . . . . .#i still need to write three planning documents for tonight#one of which needs to be Really Good because my direct supervisor will be looking at it#but my god#i just want to sleep for three days straight and then stare at a wall for another three#i'm so close to the end though . . . . .#just another 15 of these documents (including the three from tonight) and that about covers my internship#of course then there's also the seminar work and the group project and all the fancy official employment documents#and. the portfolio project (a man screams in agony)#but god . . . . . . . .#so close . . . . . . . .#so close . . . . . .#once i'm free from the portfolio it's back to zola work and THEN . . . . . . . . . .#i can finally have a substantial mental health break for the first time since last may ;;; _____ ;;;

lol my father had another temper tantrum and kicked me out of the car on the way to work slay 🤪
#hes been taking me bc my car is in the shop but uhhh lol#his check didnt clear bc of juneteenth and clearly that is my fault#luckly he kicked me out relatively close to the house so i was able to walk home#unluckily uhh im supposed to clock in in seven minutes and it takes like 20 to get to work (by car)#so guess who isnt goingg slayy#whatta life i live#yall dont even wanna know the level of tantrum he pulled omg#he parked in the middle of a parking lot (not in a spot fully in the middle of the lane) kicked everyone out of the car#walked abt ten feet and threw his phone then stormed off#after abt 50(?) feet he threw his keys and kept going#it looked like he went home (he did not have his house key so unsure of what the plan was)#he did eventually come back to get his things and went to work#i spent two hours writing this whoops#bc i was talking (ranting) w my mother before she finally left to go to work (she works closer so she was able to get there)#but my father just called me to tell me that hes “not going to apologize” but that he admits that he “overreacted”#he said he'll continue to take me to work tmr and that “he loves me” (yea okay.)#anyways#whatta day and its only 830a#elwyn.posting

i have done everything to make myself as tired as possible so i can sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow but im wide awake😭
