Nagisa Shiota x Self Harming Suicidal Reader

Terasaka, Muramatsu, Yoshida, and Okuda constantly bully Y/n and have been ever since they joined E-Class. Like Karma, they were suspended from school because one of the students in the main school had found out about what they were doing.

It wasn’t Y/n’s fault they were put in a bad situation. Ever since they were a kid, Y/n has always been a little hard of hearing, and they can’t help it if their foster parents beat them.

They’ve tried countless times to run away, but every time they were brought back home by their neighbor. Y/n hated their life, and actually tried to kill themself at least once before.

They had marks on their neck from the rope that was used about two and a half years prior, and someone from the main school had saw them. That same student also saw Y/n’s wrists, and knew almost immediately what they were. Since a handful of students in the main school bullied them, said students walked over to them, grabbed their wrists, and pulled up both of Y/n’s sleeves….revealing new and old cuts on their arms.

The cuts went all the way up to Y/n’s shoulders, and said students had grabbed their wrists so aggressively that the newer cuts had started to bleed again.

Y/n yanked their arms away, and tackled the student(s) to the ground.

If you think that they got suspended for fighting with another student or students, you’d be half right. While they were suspended for fighting during the assembly, they were also suspended for self harming.

When Y/n’s foster parents found out that they were suspended, they had beaten them for fighting with another student or students, and getting in trouble, as well as for self harming, and having the entire main school (mostly) find out.

“Shut up! Both of you! It’s not my fault that the other students are idiots! And besides, you two are the exact reason why I began self harming in the first place!” Y/n screamed.

So…when they got back to school and was sent to E-Class, they thought things couldn’t have gotten any worse, but they were very wrong. As previously mentioned, Terasaka, Muramatsu, Yoshida, and Okuda all started bullying them.

Okuda specifically started giving Y/n “potions” to drink, which was supposed to be for Koro-Sensei, but Okuda obviously had other intentions.

Feeling trapped and helpless, Y/n found solace in the only way they knew how - self-harm.

However, after a little while of being in E-Class, both Karma and Nagisa found out about Y/n’s self harm, and were rightfully concerned.

Hello, well, I don't know if you will read me, but well, I'm curious about your opinion on the Kayano ships, I have found the classic NagisaxKayano, KayanoxMegu, KanzakixKayano, KarmaxKayano, KayanoxItona, so I want to know what you think of these ships, and others that you know Personally, I feel that they are good, but none of them convince me 100%, thanks for reading me :)

Hello! I'm not much of a shipper but here are my thoughts on these Kayano ships:

Nagisa x Kayano - It was the first pair I liked when I read AssClass as a teen, so they have a special place in my heart. They're good friends despite everything that happened, and they care about each other so, so much. Like too much. Also, I really like this ship when they're queerplatonic. I don't mind the romantic part of this ship though.

Megu x Kayano - It's cute! When I first read the part with the swimming pool I was like "I see! 👀" but since there wasn't anything more with Kayano and Megu, I kinda forgot about them haha.

Kanzaki x Kayano - It's also cute! They have that whole identity and disguise thing going on so they have something in common, and I feel like they have great potential. I do wish their relationship was explored more in the canon material.

Karma x Kayano - I've explained my thoughts on them in more depth here. But to be brief, I like them as friends. Queerplatonic partners with Nagisa is good too. Lock Karma and Kayano in a room and they'll just talk about Nagisa and how much he often gets occupied with his internal monologues.

Itona x Kayano - I've always seen them in a sibling-like relationship, so I like them completely platonic.

Now here's a ship that wasn't mentioned: Okuda x Kayano! My beloved. They're really cute together and I think they have good chemistry (heh). I think Kayano was one of the people who helped Okuda open up. And I really like how it was Okuda who consoled Kayano when Korosensei's backstory was revealed to the class (but I think Kanzaki should have also been with them too).

But even then, when it comes to Gakuhou, I usually think “But what was the point? What did that prove? Why just why?” And it’s not because I don’t like him (I don’t but that’s not the point) It’s just…I don’t know.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): I wouldn’t say “screwed up” but just could have done better, most of the main campus kids. We’re supposed to see them all as assholes but could you really blame them. Since they’re not really reprimanded for their behavior of course most of them are going to keep acting like that. Their teenagers! Teenagers are going to keep acting like assholes if the adults around them enable it. I wish we got to explore the different classes dynamics and stuff. I really think it was a wasted opportunity.

Favourite Friendship: The ikemen duo of course!

Character I most identify with: This answer changes as the day goes on but now I’m going with Okuda! They have a huge defense squad and they’re lethal on their own, so don’t mess with them.

Okuda is really comfortable around him! Idk why we never saw them hang out in canon, but I wholeheartedly believe he’d be one of her closest friends given his kind and honest nature

Nagisa is trying really hard to find a balance between “encouraging her passion and talent for chemistry” and “discouraging any illegal or unethical ideas ahem karma”

They both are more of listeners than talkers, and it’s really cute. When Nagisa goes on about Sonic Ninja, she’ll patiently hear every second of it, smiling at his enthusiasm. And when she rambles about science, Nagisa totally hears her out.

Even though she’s taller than Kayano, these two somehow have even stronger “smol” energy when they’re together. Like seeing them stand together just makes you wanna hug them. This is how Hara feels

Nagisa more often than not is unwittingly dragged into some of her and Karma’s weirder science ideas. Cue him dressed in scrubs watching them dissect something and regretting everything. But then Okuda smiles at him and he doesn’t mind a second of it.

Tbh I think anyone in a relationship with Okuda would be pretty whipped for her. Lmao her friends already are.

They’d be that couple who have picnic dates or go on regular walks by the shore, holding hands. They’re lowkey and both of them love it.

This mighhhhhht be OOC but when they get really closer...maybe having feelings for each other...I can see Okuda absentmindedly braiding his hair. And since it’ll be short then, they’re like tiny lil braids. And she has no idea she’s doing it. And he notices but doesn’t say anything because that’s so cute

Okuda totally is his number one person he calls on if he needs some help with his pet snakes. She has enough biology knowledge and common sense, but isn’t too overwhelming like Kurahashi tends to be sometimes.

Nagisa had met Karma at their first year, and they had been friends ever since. He had been surprised when Karma ended up joining class 3-E, but he guessed that mabye he shouldn't have been. It was so like the red-head.

Nagisa wasn't sure when it happened, but along the way, he started liking Karma. When it happened, around their second year, he wasn't expecting the feelings to last as long as they did.

Nagisa found himself enjoying being around the red-head, despite his 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 slightly pshycothic demeanor. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to react when he realized he liked another boy, he ignored Karma for about a week after ge realized that. However he came to terms with it.

He also came to terms with the fact Karma would most likely never like him back. He also had his suspicions that mabye his friend liked Okuda. Its not like hated Okuda, not at all. But he couldn't help but feel slightly jealous over the fact she held the heart of the red-headed man.

Valentines day came up, and Nagisa had made some chocolates he was considering giving to Karma, but he decided against that the moment he saw the red-head,and decided to just keep them in his bag, while mabye eating them later to comfort himself.

"Hey, Nagisa!" Someone said, Nagisa recognized the voice and turned around to see Karma. "Oh, hey karma. What's up?" Nagisa replied, acting like he always did. A devilish smile appeared on the red-headed boys face, and Nagisa could swear he saw devils horns and a tail. He felt himself sweat nervously.

Karma pulled out a cute pink dress, one that was very obviously valentines day themed. It helda big pink apron on the front to, and although it was cute, it was definitely not something he wanted to wear.

"So~ don't you think you would look cute in this?" He said, with the same devilish smirk Nagisa had both learned to hate and love. "No way!" He shouted. "Com'on, Rio agrees with me." He said, obviously wanting blackmailing material.

"Yeah, well I don't care" Nagisa said, hoping he would be able to get out of the situation. Karma sighed. "Alright fin-" Nagisa knew what he was saying, but before he could finish the bell rang, which ment they had to return to class.

Nagisa nodded, before heading to the classroom. Karma followed after him, deciding not to skip class.

Class was boring, like always. Nothing very exciting happened, although some of his classmates were giving chocolate to other classmates.

Class ended, and Nagisa walked over to Karma's desk, hoping they could walk home together. "Hey Karma, wanna walk home together?" He asked. The red-head looked at him, before sighing and standing up, lifting his bag up on his shoulder. "Yeah, let's go" he said.

The two were walking down the mountain, they had left a bit earlier than eveyrone else, so they were currently alone. The two if them were talking about a new comic coming out, when Nagisa saw it. "Wait, Karma you have a chocolate?" He asked, rather surprised. Karma looked over to him before glancing at his open bag, and surely there was the chocolate he had made that morning, not that Nagisa would ever know that.

"Yeah, made it this morning" he said, having a nonchalant voice. Nagisa freaked out, had he been planning in giving them to Okuda? Had he stopped him from giving them to her?

"Oh, um. Were you going to give them to Okuda? Did I prevent you from giving them to her by making us leave a bit early? I'm so sorry if I did I didn't know you were going to give her chocolates, you don't seem like that typ-" he was cut of by the small box of chocolates being thrown in his face. The box slipped down but he managed to catch them with his hands. "They were ment for you Nagisa" the red-head trailed of a bit at the end.

Nagisa was confused. Why was Karma planning on giving him chocolates? Why wasn't he giving them to Okuda? Hadn't he said they would be a match made in heaven?

"Calm down, jesus christ Nagisa you look like a tomato" Karma bluntly pointed out.but then Karma's face frew a devilish smile, before he leaned down, rather close to Nagisa's face. "Do you, by any chance, like me Nagisa?" He asked, and Nagisa could feel his face heating up even more. "No- what? Why? No of course- why would I-?"

Karma leaned in, before kissing him. Nagisa felt in his face heat up, and Karma was most likely right about the fact he looked like a living tomato. Just as Nagisa was about to kiss back, realizing that this was his chance to mabye get his crush, Karma pulled back.

"That's to bad, because I certainly like you. Oh well" the red-head said, before putting his hands behind his head as he proceeded to continue walking. Nagisa stood there for about a minute, flustered beyond compare, before he realized what was happening.

"Wha- wait! Karma I was lying I like you back, wait up!" He shouted, running after the red-head that was simply smiling.
