I kinda wanna see:
Of which Jack Fenton and Maddie Fenton giving their Abyss-given powers of Fuck Paperwork (IRS is afraid of this couple) to their children.
See, thing is with GIW, it claimed itself as a government organization. And what better way to dismantle it from the inside? Well, not GIW, but from the government itself. For safety sake (via Sam and Jazz's argument; it's not like FBI and the likes employ ghost weapons right??? Ancients he hoped not).
Looking from outside in, since DP universe uses technology that's still somewhat backdated (PDA? Tho maybe that's also due to being in small town?), one can assume that the government uses runners/paperback archives instead of 100% technological and the likes. So one would think a runner is needed, between one part of government to the other.
So Danny applies to be one. A runner.
Ofc it's a bit of a leap, from wanting to be NASA to a runner for the government, but NASA is still in the payroll of the government, so schematics. This can always be a High King Danny in training (and Clockwork told him that it's a good training as a governmental reference or something), but it's really up to whoever wanting to continue my idea into their own but I digress.
And somehow he's highly sought after coz he's very quick in his feet.
And ofc Danny notices the power given unto him via paperwork he's to deliver to the other department.
Added with how he got the Power of Fuck Paperwork, well.
I think it'll bound to be a lot of shenanigans that possibly won't be linked to him. Somehow. Coz Fenton luck amirite?
Tho like.
... It would be funnier, I think, if it's a DPxDC universe since in DC we have the likes of Amanda Waller in the gov and the fact that there's always SOMETHING happening in DC world (ah yes, attempt X in conquering the Earth) and thus I think the government would be a bit of a mess, behind the scenes.

Love your games!
I played BSH hundred times, I just can't really put together Ray's background.
All we know: his parents died when he was 7+-, then he was adopted by Steel Sheriff and after 11 years of witnessing this shithead he said screw you guys and became independent hero. So he was 18.
And we have info that at 17+- (after becoming independent?) Ray was put in war/conflict? Sorry, my English fails me here 😓
Also, Ray throw something like "I was so talented that NAHA took me into herodom as a child" but it is kind of implied(?) that it happened after he became orphane.
It is all I could get from game.
I guess I misunderstood many things haha
Anyway, I am curious if Ray's parents had abilities too, did Ray get his om-nom-nom ability in artificial way or from parents?
Was NASA intended to take Ray under their control from his birth or at some pointed they noticed a boy with unique gift?
Maybe NASA even connected to parents death lol
Ray's parents throw him into NASA or it was NASA initiative to take Ray? How would his parents react on such a plan on their kiddo?
Holly Molly I am so anxious about writing this question I hope I managed to do it coherent
While typing it I came up with another question that bothers me know: how the hell Ray's abilities has been discovered? Did he accidentally kill someone and got his ability? It makes me think that NASA really planed this.
First of all, thankyou so much for enjoying my game, and thankyou for such a long and in depth message 🥰 I love reading these.
Ah, so it's the NAHA (North American Hero Association) rather than NASA.
And to answer a few questions:
- Ray's parents didn't actally die, his father wasn't around, and his mother basically sold him off to fund her addiction.
- NAHA lobbied to successfully pass a law that requires any medical center where children are born to test these infants for the proper combination of traits associated with abilities. So basically, all children with abilities are tracked in a government database. Ray and his brother were marked by the government as a 'high risk' ability (Ray's brother) and a 'potential candidate' ability (Ray) when the opportunity was presented the gov stepped in and swooped them both up.
- Abilities are not inherited, its basically a luck draw. So it was very rare that both Ray and his brother had an ability.
- Ray killed his brother when the NAHA pitted them against eachother as children.

🦁 Pride of lions airlifted from Ukraine to Colorado in “biggest-ever warzone rescue of lions”
Tumblr media
A pride of lions that were living at the Bio Park Zoo in Odessa, a southern city in Ukraine that has been impacted by the Russian-Ukraine war, has been airlifted to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado, according to a news release.
“The big cats were urgently relocated when the war first broke by a convoy that journeyed over 600 miles across Ukraine and Moldova, arriving in Targu Mures, Romania, on May 24, 2022. The Targu Mures Zoo provided a temporary home for the animals for several months so that an emergency travel permit could be approved for the eleven lions to board an international rescue flight,” the release said.
🐶 Hundreds of Dogs Saved From Nevada Breeding Farm in Huge Police Operation
Tumblr media
Authorities have seized around 300 dogs from a property in Nevada in what officials have described as a “large-scale” animal cruelty situation. Detectives from Nye County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) obtained a search warrant for a property in Amargosa Valley following an investigation and visited the location on Tuesday.
There, officials arrested a couple — Oskana Higgins and Vasili Platunov — on felony animal abuse and neglect charges, the NCSO said.

Scientists have now confirmed the orbit of a 160m-wide (520ft) space rock known as Dimorphos was altered when the Dart probe struck it head on last month. Researchers came to the conclusion after making measurements using a range of space and Earth-based telescopes.
The mission was conceived to test a potential strategy to defend the Earth against threatening objects.
🤖 Tiny Robots Have Successfully Cleared Pneumonia From The Lungs of Mice
Scientists have been able to direct a swarm of microscopic swimming robots to clear out pneumonia microbes in the lungs of mice, raising hopes that a similar treatment could be developed to treat deadly bacterial pneumonia in humans. The technology is still at a proof-of-concept stage, but the early signs are very promising.
“Based on this mouse data, we see that the microrobots could potentially improve antibiotic penetration to kill bacterial pathogens and save more patients’ lives,” says Victor Nizet, a physician and professor of pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego.

Ten conservation groups today sent a letter calling on Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek and the Board of Forestry to protect additional acres of forest lands in the proposed Western Oregon State Forest Habitat Conservation Plan. Their proposed increase in protected mature and old-growth forest land would help safeguard imperiled species like the threatened Oregon Coast coho salmon and marbled murrelet.
Specifically, today’s letter seeks to protect forests older than 80 years in the Tillamook and Clatsop state forests and the Cook Creek watershed because of their ecological value for coastal communities and wildlife. The draft conservation plan is now in the process of being finalized by the Board of Forestry.
“Protecting more mature and old-growth coastal forests would benefit Oregon’s treasured wildlife and sustain coastal communities,” said Meg Townsend, senior freshwater attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity. “We need to protect Cook Creek to safeguard critical spawning habitat for Oregon Coast coho and make sure coastal residents have safe drinking water and recreational opportunities.”
Intact mature and old-growth forests provide important habitat corridors and refuges for wildlife including at-risk species like the marbled murrelet. They also help moderate flooding and runoff occurring more frequently in a changing climate while ensuring water quantity and quality to downstream communities. Older forests are the most resistant and resilient to climate change impacts like wildfire.
Across Oregon, only about 10% of mature and old-growth forests remain, and much less than that remains on the North Coast.
Clearcut logging and related activities like road building and aerial pesticide spraying increase sediment and other pollutants flowing into streams and drinking water sources. No-logging buffers around streams have increased under a settlement agreement with the Center for Biological Diversity and other groups. But communities remain concerned about the extent of clearcutting in their drinking watersheds and the short-term and cumulative harms of industrial logging.
This summer, Oregon Wild co-developed a project with NASA to map the extent of logging across watersheds on the North Coast. The analysis revealed that the forested areas many Oregon coastal communities rely on for safe and clean drinking water have been more than 50% clearcut over the past 20 years.

Recently, I learned that the government is fully committed to the idea of Santa Claus, and fully committed to the spirit of Santa Claus, because NASA spends a lot of money on the Santa tracker and the males the US mail system you commit works, and you can sign up to get a letter from a kidto Santa and you can be a Santa and Santa helper at the same time and I just that just made me happy
Here's a video that made me feel happy
I'm glad that Gov is fully committed to Santa
My head canon is that it was New York's idea, and then GOV just took it and decided to use it and New York's happy that it works

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin will announce Thursday that his state has surpassed a business-creation milestone he made a campaign pledge to meet.
After he was declared the victor in November 2021 against Democratic former Gov. Terence McAuliffe, Youngkin, a Republican, pledged to foster 10,000 new start-up businesses during his term.
"On day one, we’re going to jumpstart our jobs and reinvigorate the economy so it lifts up all Virginians," Youngkin said at the time, having repeatedly declared since that "Virginia is open for business."
On Thursday, Youngkin said he achieved that goal in "record time."
"Through our ‘Compete to Win’ strategy, we’ve reached this incredible milestone by driving innovation, fostering entrepreneurship, bolstering our talent pipeline, providing needed tax relief, and truly creating an environment where startups and businesses can thrive," he said.
"Our efforts to bolster our business environment over the past two and a half years have earned Virginia the top state for business accolade. All startups should come to Virginia because we are fostering an environment of success."
Youngkin will visit ZEBOX in Arlington later Thursday to commemorate the milestone. ZEBOX is a "startup accelerator" and "innovation hub," the governor’s office said in a statement.
In response, Virginia Secretary of Commerce Caren Merrick said it is exciting to see so many innovators and entrepreneurs choose Virginia to launch their projects.
"I look forward to thousands more in the future," Merrick said.
With Virginia being the rare state in which governors cannot be sequentially re-elected, that left the Falls Church businessman with only four years to meet the goal.
Youngkin said he is also proud to see CNBC name Virginia the top state for business in the country.
One recent ribbon-cutting took place not far from the governor’s office, as Youngkin joined Petersburg Mayor Sam Parham to open the Petersburg Pharma Campus, which houses several pharmaceutical manufacturers.
On the other side of the state, Firefly Aerospace chose Virginia Spaceport Authority’s Wallops Island facility near Accomac earlier this summer as the launchpad for its Alpha launch vehicle. Wallops Island is also home to an active NASA site.
As early as 2022, Youngkin’s name was being floated as a potential Republican presidential candidate, though the governor has repeatedly stressed his focus remains on Virginia rather than any national political aspirations.
"They elected me to lead change. They elected me to lead Virginia forward. And that's what we're doing," Youngkin told Fox News at the time.
Until Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, was ultimately selected by former President Trump, the political newcomer had also been floated as a potential vice presidential nominee.
Prior to venturing into politics, Youngkin himself had a successful career in the business sector, helming an executive position with the private equity firm Carlyle Group since 1995.
During his tenure there, he reportedly helped Carlyle lead a high-profile $12 billion revamp of John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 1.

as far as i'm aware from reading US news (ny times) most of the smoke on the US east coast is from the canadian fires. also, the fires in canada are a lot lot lot worse than looks on the image you can see - hundreds of fires burning all across canada.
as a californian myself, i've also been kind of annoyed seeing all the news about like 'unprecedented smoke in nyc' like seriously? this isn't unprecedented, just for them specifically. I understand that seeing the orange skies was crazy but like...it's not new...I literally saw that myself during the fires of 2020 in Calif. i've had friends and family had to evacuate from nearby fires, i had to wear an n95 during the summer before covid because being outside in that air quality made me feel sick. my brother had school and sports cancelled because it was too dangerous to be outside breathing the air.
calif, oregon, washington, british columbia and all of the western US and canada (maybe mexico too, I don't know about impact of smoke/fires in central or latin america) have been dealing with this for years. australia and nz have been dealing with this too for years.
I'm sorry...I kind of just wanted to complain a bit...it was a bit jarring seeing all those headlines about it being new when it's really not, it's just only new for the US east coast which has the biggest & loudest mouthpiece coming from america.
i'd also love to see some resources about the fires in canada if anyone has sent you any. i know for california, Cal Fire (fire.ca . gov) has info on calif. since there was a lot of rain this year (i've never seen so much rain in my life) i'm hoping fire season won't be too bad but we never know...
hi anon!
it's okay to vent about it. i understand that for those who have dealt with or are currently dealing with large wildfires would be annoyed by those who are not experiencing it as they are. still, i don't think it's right to blame those people without educating them a bit on it first.
honestly even when it comes to the east coast smoke most news talk specifically about nyc than the other places dealing with the same thing. picky news coverage can be frustrating to say the least.
and you're certainly right about it being new to us but not everyone else. the east coast is generally pretty wet with hurricanes in summer (which hurricane season officially started around a week ago, which i'm curious if it'll be affected at all since the smoke is also going east into the atlantic and wildfire smoke throws off marine ecosystems and cyclones are worse when the water is warmer) and snow storms during winter. i think no matter where you are, people will react extremely if something out of the ordinary happens. personally i can't even imagine it since even when i lived on the west coast, it was near seattle and mostly wet.
thank you for providing some info on california! nobody else has sent anything yet, but i'll definitely post if they do! :)
my screenshot was from fire.airnow.gov and from zooming in more i get a slightly better picture of where the fires are but the low accuracy is likely because the site's focus is only the us. nasa is usually quite good in capturing this things in the states, so i checked the canadian space agency to see if they had better images of the fires. while i didn’t find any recent satellite images (best i found was a video from a month ago), i was directed to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC) which has an updated interactive map on the homepage. This site alao has links to individual centers in each province.

This sky above our forehead
Is it only the sky of our earth or the sky of the entire solar system or something else?
what is this sky
Sky
The sky is an unobstructed view upward from the surface of the Earth. It includes the atmosphere and outer space. It may also be considered a place between the ground and outer space, thus distinct from outer space. In the field of astronomy, the sky is also called the celestial sphere. Wikipedia
Why Is the Sky Blue?
NASA Space Place (.gov)
https://spaceplace.nasa.gov › blue-sky
Sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered more than the other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.
It's easy to see that the sky is blue. Have you ever wondered why?
A lot of other smart people have, too. And it took a long time to figure it out!
The light from the Sun looks white. But it is really made up of all the colors of the rainbow.
When white light shines through a prism, the light is separated into all its colors. A prism is a specially shaped crystal.
If you visited The Land of the Magic Windows, you learned that the light you see is just one tiny bit of all the kinds of light energy beaming around the universe--and around you!
Like energy passing through the ocean, light energy travels in waves, too. Some light travels in short, "choppy" waves. Other light travels in long, lazy waves. Blue light waves are shorter than red light waves.
All light travels in a straight line unless something gets in the way and does one of these things:—
reflect it (like a mirror)
bend it (like a prism)
or scatter it (like molecules of the gases in the atmosphere)
Closer to the horizon, the sky fades to a lighter blue or white. The sunlight reaching us from low in the sky has passed through even more air than the sunlight reaching us from overhead. As the sunlight has passed through all this air, the air molecules have scattered and rescattered the blue light many times in many directions.
Also, the surface of Earth has reflected and scattered the light. All this scattering mixes the colors together again so we see more white and less blue.

As an alternative to AI art, may I suggest the joys of raiding the public domain and Creative Commons licensed works?
Obviously, if you can actually afford to commission artwork or purchase from an artist, please support them. BUT there are also so many places you can go to get copyright-free art without supporting something that is deeply damaging to artists.
89,000,000 public domain and Creative Commons images, video and audio recordings.
Any images taken or created by the US government are automatically in the public domain. And yeah, that includes NASA and images from the James Web Telescope.
While the majority of Picryl’s archives are free, you can shell out a little money ($7 a month) to get access to higher resolution images and images that have been digitally enhanced. This might be useful if you plan on making prints or selling things like t-shirts with artwork from the site (which is perfectly legal btw).
On top of the their collection of artwork scientific and historic images, the Smithsonian is also creating a database of 3D scans of their collection, in case anyone wants to print a model of Amelia Earhart’s plane or a whole dinosaur.
Library of Congress, as a US Gov organization, has also made their collections available for use by the public.
Most people associate Project Gutenberg with ebooks but many of those books have beautiful illustrations. They’re not always the highest definition but they have a little of everything. My favorites are the books that contain botanical and wildlife drawings. There are also some very lovely children’s books.
I’ve made several book covers for self-published projects from public domain art. As a small creator who just can’t afford to commission art right now (much as I wish I could), these archives are vital. And you can literally do anything you want with them and in most cases use them commercially. There might be a few that require you to double check the copyright laws in your country but by and large you’re free to do what you want!
